Very Responsive TeamJosh and Nate were both at our home during the installation process.Nate was very personable and out to make sure everything was set to my expectations. Josh was very pleasant, hard worker and very ready to comply with any of my requests as he worked.I have little input on quality or value as unit was just installed. We did have a leak after just one day. The entire team jumped in to insure it was fixed immediately. The office personnel sent interim fixes to stop water damage. Nate was dispatch from 2 hrs away to make corrections that night. Nate made sure I understood how the unit functioned technically and then how to work with it on a daily basis .To be honest there was an issue during initial installation, however, after dealing with the entire team I am very satisfied with everything that has been done. They all truly focus on customer satisfaction.
My wife and I purchased a whole-house reverse osmosis system from Anderson Water in Rochester. Since installation last June they have been to our home 4 times to fix different failures and we recently had another issue surface. Some of the failures required multiple visits. A leak in one of the connectors took months to fix as they needed to order a replacement. BTW, it continues to leak.We were told by one of the service folks (4 months after install) that the previous technicians incorrectly installed the system .At one point the system stopped pumping and we made a call to the emergency line on a Friday night, they didnt bother to call us back until the following Tuesday.I called 8 days ago and emailed the office after finding out that the pump was running for 40 seconds, stopping for 5 seconds and then running for 40 seconds, this is continuous 24 hours a day. I am certain that the system will eventually burn out.After all the problems we have had with their equipment/installation and their business I asked for a removal and a refund as we spend A LOT of money and were promised by one of the owners that the system was pretty much bulletproof and would only require changing the filters annually.Their response was as follows:We cannot take out used equipment as once installed it can never be warrantied to another person, therefore really cannot be re-sold. We do not provide refunds, but we do promise to stand behind the equipment we installed in your home.So they are willing to sell you faulty equipment, make mistakes in the installation but will tell you not to worry because they will provide a 1-year warranty. After that you will be forced to pay, for what I worry will be frequent repairs. Frequent repairs provided from a company that is less than responsive and in our experience taking a long time to resolve and in some cases never resolve.I disconnected the system today and will hire an attorney as I f have no other form of recourse. I refuse to work with people who over-promise and under-deliver and are unwilling to do the right thing.*UPDATE*Anderson called and asked to make this right. They sent out a different tech and replaced the problematic pump. To date the new pump has worked perfectly. We were also told that as we had had so many problems, they would provide a warranty on the entire system for a year following the installation of the new equipment. To-date we have yet to receive a written warranty extension.
Josh came and let me know he was going to be here through a phone call prior to his arrival. He was very clear on all the explanations, did his work and left the area clean. Installation of water softener. Bryan, who initially came to give me the quote, was very clear and gave me a great price. So far so good, I will keep you posted.
We. have a complete Anderson Water System that was installed less than 3 years ago. A few days ago, had a sudden onset of very bad tasting water through the Reverse Osmosis system. Ed came and tested for dissolved solids. It was quite high. He suspected faulty membrane/filters. He replaced those and also checked the water softener. Ed was friendly and very professional. And he cleaned up the area where he was working. Overall, I am quite satisfied with the service. We will be testing the water with the new filters in a few hours...
This company is amazing. I have a well and a specific RO system that they installed and service and they have been amazing every step of the way. They have even take the time to educate me so I can take care of some of the minor maintenance. In an age where service seems to be dead with most companies this Company is quite the opposite and a pleasure to work with.
They installed a whole home water system that has not worked right from the beginning. Cost 8000 and I still have sulfer smell in my water. Had a service tech come out a couple of times after installation and all they did was empty my hot water tank to try and solve the problem. The third time I called they said if I call again they will have to charge me a maintenance fee to come out even though it has not worked right from the beginning. I gave up at the time until recently I had another issue had a morning appointment no call no show. Now I am stuck with a system that doesnt work properly and cant get good service.
Standby generator failed to start when power was lost, called and received a response almost immediately from Mike. Power was restored while on the phone, but Mike came the next morning with a smile on his face and promptly repaired the generator. Very appreciative of the great customer service
Their sales representative Brian came to my house. He sampled and analyzed the tap water and showed us how the RO system work at home all this after I submitted another water sample to be analyzed by the company. He recommended Rainsoft ultrefiner II based on the sampling results and I chose the product that goes under the sink. He claimed that the pre and post filters need to be replaced every 1 year and the RO membrane every 2 years based on my sample results. I was satisfied first with the installation, the setup, the water quality produced. About 7 months later, the product started to produce excessive amounts of untreated water (about 3X than what the manual says) this had affected my water bill because water is expensive in Tonawanda. I called their CS right away then they send a tech who claimed later that both the pre- and post- filters are clogged because of dirts and that need to be replaced. However, the issue haven’t been fixed and the untreated water was still running like a water leak in the house. I called Brian and he couldn’t explain why the issue is still their. He referred me to Kathy in CS. I talked to the lady over the phone for hour and she wanted to sample the water again and go from there, so she ordered sample kit by mail as we were talking. The kit haven’t arrived to mailbox till this moment. Eventually, I gave up on this product and people who run it. I closed the supply to the product. My friends who installed RO but with different company and different product were so shocked by what happened why this RO in my house produces untreated water compared to the product they installed which produces zero untreated water and on top of that they had no issues with it at all.
Mike just left repairing our generator on a warranty basis. Parts covered 5 year warranty, Labor not included, beyond 2 year warranty?As usual Mike was very professional and explained in detail what the repair was and what to hopefully expect now that this repair was made.THANK YOU MIKETHANK YOU ANDERSON FOR THE PROMBT RESPONSE TIME TO THIS PROBLEM.
Sean did a great, quick and rapid job. When Anderson annual service that noticed are indicated they would take care it in the spring. I frogot, but they remembered. They called, followed up snd fixed the possible problem in less than 15 minutes. Again...very professional, quick and simplely good.
Comparing generators we went with another company mainly because saved some money ..we we’re offered a lower price but had to sign at that time and we wanted time to compare .. had the lower price been offered for 48 hrs to give us time to compare we probably would have gone with Anderson. Trying to push us into signing now cost Anderson the contract
Just had a generator installed. Ander scheduled this, and although they had to come out here on the tail end of a 10-12 inch snow drop (part of winter storm Izzy) they kept their appointment and did the install. I think that this does say something exceptionally positive about Andersons reliability and dependability.I didnt get the name of the gentleman who worked outside, but he certainly braved the elements to get the job done.Add to that Kevin who was as much of a gentleman as he was an electrician. When we asked that masks be worn in the house, he showed sensitivity for concern and always had a mask on in our presence. (I dont really care about other peoples feeling about masks. What this is about is keeping a customer happy, which he did.)Kevin is rated at a 5. Too bad there are no higher numbers or I would rate him even higher. Easily a five for the outside person alsoI am exceptionally impressed with Anderson. What I got for the price I paid was roughly once-and-a-half more than what I had been quoted by other companies. In the end, I had a generator that would supply power to almost my whole house, a job accomplished on time, and pleasant employees. Hard to ask for much more than that.Frank
I am always happy with my service from Anderson Water. I have used them to install a water purifier system 17 years ago, and replace it 1 year ago. I have annual maintenance with them. All the technicians who come out are reliable and professional, will trouble shoot any repairs needed and usually have the parts on their truck.The most recent technician Sam S was great. I like being able to trust a repair person who is being sent into my home, and that’s how I felt when he came.My one caveat is that I live in Ontario county and it’s sometimes a longer wait to schedule an appointment. I call earlier to schedule my annual appointment.
Nick came to install a faucet (challenging due to configuration under the sink), replace 3 filters in our R.O. system, and salt in our brine tank. He was knowledgeable and very helpful - explained tips and tricks to get the most out of our system. - an excellent technician. Our overall experience - since 2013 - with Anderson has been superb.
Anderson did a routine cleaning on our water softener. I was charged 148$ service call on top of 250$ for new filters. The service gentleman was excellent but in our home less than 20 minutes start to finish. I think 148$ for maintenance is a bit steep. Customer service did not resolve my concern when I called to discuss. I was not charged the service call fee last year with the same 20 minute cleaning. Very disappointing.
Mike from Anderson water and power serviced our whole house generator. He explained in detail what he was going to, invited me out to observe the work he was to do and explained each step. Went to the transfer switch, turned off our power so the generator was working a day waited for the system to cycle. Everything was perfectly in order. What a pleasure to deal with someone who knows what he Is doing a d is so easy to speak with. Thank you Anderson your guys are great !
Roger is very professional and a great pleasure to work with. He was on time to our appointment even though it was snowing heavily out. He is very knowledgeable about his field and at the same time laid back and not pushy at all. I definitely enjoyed my experience with him.
Just purchased a 20 year old house with a whole house generator. I scheduled a service not knowing when the last time it was done. Andersons technician, Mike, was prompt, courteous, and very professional and knowledgeable. He explained the servicing and operation of the generator fully and did a professional job. The cost was very competitive. I would highly recommend them.
Anderson employees were very professional and very quick. I had a water filtration system and water softener installed. I thought I would be without water for half the day but it only took an hour and a half. They also took the old non working equipment from another company saving me the cost of taking it out of my cellar. My water is so clean that you can drink from the faucet without getting orange or pink colored water.
Non-Transparent business practices. They are sales people pushing the installation of reverse osmosis systems and are not problem solvers. I do not recommend doing any sort business with these people.We picked up a free water test from Home Depot and then got a call a week later from someone at Andersen Water-Power-Air. They refused to give us a physical report of the water test results but instead used a tone of voice that made me feel like our water was poison. The person I spoke with on the phone was unintelligent and could not even repeat the information he said previously. It seemed like he was only capable of regurgitation and then scheduling an additional in home consultation.We scheduled the free in home consultation and the companies president Tom Gerstner came to our house to, “show us some things.”My wife was home and I was on the phone, Tom didn’t like that we weren’t both physically present and insisted we reschedule so we can both be there, seems like a sales tactic.Long story short we got a bad feeling from Tom. He wasn’t wearing a mask, he made some bad political jokes regarding COVID-19 and the US president, which was inappropriate and unprofessional, again seemed like a sales tactic to get us on his side.After his phony tests and telling us our water was dirty and impure and harmful to our children, he recommended a reverse osmosis system but when asked about cost couldn’t tell us because Home Depot has him under contract which I didn’t understand.This entire experience was terrible and seemed like a scam to get us to agree to going into debt to have a reverse osmosis system installed by Home Depot. When looking back on this experience and doing some basic research, this has nothing to do with the quality of our water but more about selling reverse osmosis systems. The ironic thing about it is we have municipal water that goes through an enormous amount of tests and has to be of a certain standard.It’s sad businesses like Tom Gerstener’s exist today and that they’re still in business by tricking people who can’t sniff out a scam until it’s too late.
I have a whole house water system from Anderson. They come annually for maintenance and they are available when I need something. Our water system has really improved the quality of our water. Sam was the tech who did the work today. He was very professional, was respectful of my home, and he listened to my concerns and needs. I was fully confident that he was able to do the necessary work. I will request him for future visits.
Mike Matteson was on time to do the yearly inspection and maintenance on our generator. He was very pleasant and friendly. Anderson Water and Power should be very proud to have Mike representing them. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he was doing. He also answered some questions I had for him. Anderson water is by far my best investment and has the best quality water around! Customer service is always responsive and easy to get a hold of. I had an issue with my tank and tech Sam S. came over the next day to change it. Sam was respectful, professional and very personable. Anderson Water……, a tech like Sam is one of the reasons you still have my business. Sam thank you for all your great work!!
We thank the president of Anderson for providing a sales estimate. A consummate salesman in the traditional sense, complete with corny jokes, but minus the loud suit, Tom was very knowledgeable and efficient in providing the requested sales estimate. He offered us a steep discount on a newly returned-never really used Cummins generator if we signed within a couple of hours. Reviews of Anderson on the Better Business Bureau site reveal this deal as more of a pressure sales tactic which apparently had been similarly offered to others before. Although the BBB complaints are often documented as resolved, they reveal concerns about follow up service after instillation which we must now wrestle with when making our decision when all estimates are complete. It is most unpleasant to have to wade through the merits vs. dependability issues of a company to make a decision rather than weighing practicality of price and time factors. One should not have to pick the lesser of all evils but should feel assured they are getting the best bang for their buck.Although we would not reject Anderson as a possibility, it has caused us to decide to delay purchase from anyone until we do more provider research by asking people with generators who installed and is servicing them. One thing we are learning during the estimate process is that competition between generator installers seems to be a very cut-throat existence where salesmen openly, or with very little encouragement, shred each others reputations. Although they perhaps find this an acceptable strategy, this behavior reveals a level of sales anxiety which we found off-putting. Added respect is due to someone who simply presents the price, answers questions, provides proof by reference of successful follow up support and allows that to successfully speak for itself. Brian Geer from Anderson Water is the first person we call when we have a problem. Our first purchase was the softener system to improve our well water that was stinky and awful tasting. You also cant beat the Anderson guarantee and awesome customer service youll get from Brian and the girls in the office.Today was our second purchase as our hot water tank leaked and the first person I called was Brian...he sent Kevin to install a tankless system and once again a flawless job.Everyone is so professional, polite and leave our home exactly as they found it. We are happy to be a part of the Anderson Family.
Excellent service, I am elated with our new water treatment system. Our water before Anderson replaced everything was horrible, it smelled and tasted terrible, and the pressure was down to a trickle. Anderson replaced it all with a much better, lower maintenance system. They reviewed everything with me personally and answered my questions.
Sam replaced my filters. He was personable, professional, and considerate. He explained what he did and what I needed to do. Ive had an Anderson water system for 6 years now and have no complaints. They do an outstanding job and have great people working for them. I would highly recommend them!

Anderson came and checked my water system and installed new filters. Sam did a good job very professional and was in and out quickly as I requested. I was disappointed at how long I needed to wait and that nobody contacted me to let me know that Sam was going to be delayed
Anderson Water-Power installed a whole house standby generator for us. They were professional at every step and completed our installation in about 4 hours. The install techs were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The cleanup was perfect and they spent as much time as I needed to explain and instruct me on the ongoing operation of the generator. There is nothing but a positive experience with the from the initial sales visit to installation. I would highly recommend them and will call them again for future work.
Service was repair and yearly maintenance of our generator which included replacement of the filter and spark plug and check of our battery. Devin also fixed one of the settings that had caused our problem. Devin was a pleasure to work with as he was very pleasant, listened thoughtfully to our questions and explained things very clearly. Our service call was scheduled quickly and Devin arrived earlier than the time window that was set which suited us very well. Excellent service!
Mike Matteson has been our Anderson generator service provider for several years now. Mike does the yearly service. Thats probably why we never have a problem with our Generator. Anderson is a great company that hires good people. I feel safe with everything they sell and the service they provide! Thank you Anderson.
Had them at our house today. We didn’t end up having them instal anything at our house however they came out today and ran tests on our water. The gentleman that came was awesome explained it all to us and showed every step. We got the details he tried to work on us with the price but now just wasn’t the right time. If you can afford it I highly suggest it it just wasn’t right for us right now. He was personable and I would love to work with him again. Great company from my experience
Grab a cup of coffee, pull up a chair and let me tell you a story about Anderson Water.This year I purchased a water-softening and purification system from Anderson. Things started off well, the installation was quick. And maybe thats where the problem started - it was too quick and installed improperly and thats where my nightmare begins.See, the system is designed to cycle and flush out the brine water while you are asleep. The problem is they installed the flush wrong with a p-trap and the vent at the same height so every time the water flushed gallons of water spilled into my walls and insulation.After about the third time this happened we began notice water pooling up in my freshly-remodeled basement. By that time, the damage was severe, it ruined drywall, insulation, kitchen cabinets, and brand-new flooring. My basement filled up with mold.We called Anderson up to fix the installation - which they did (on the third attempt.) The first time the technician showed up with the wrong parts, and the 2nd technician who came to fix it didnt have the parts at all, and had to come back a 3rd time.So this is early to mid September when these problems occurred. They did almost $10,000 in damage to my basement and thats not to mention I have not been able to use those two rooms for over 2 months!Mistakes happen - and I could have forgiven them if they made things right. But they stonewalled my contractor and I for 3 weeks about getting details of the damages and pictures, etc. They then lied about when they submitted it to their insurance company, and refused to pay my contractor until their insurance company gives them a check.I tried working with their insurance company (which doesnt answer nor return phone calls because... reasons.) The adjuster came out to my house to document the damage and take pictures two weeks ago, but magically does not have a report of the incident.Anderson, for their part refuses to take my phone calls. Their customer service manager Santina, has not returned one of my two-dozen calls over the past 3 weeks including today when she wouldnt even speak to me in person, she just sent the person who answered the phone to tell me I will have to be patient, she hasnt had a chance to call me back yet.I said fine, call me back by close of business today. Did she call? Nope. Because they dont care about me nor my house, nor the health of my family living in a moldy house. Because Anderson has the worst customer service I have ever encountered in any business dealing I have had in my entire life.My basement is in ruins for the last 10 weeks. They wont pay for their mistakes. They wont even answer my phone call or return messages.
Technician was professional, polite and helpful. Serviced my water system and repaired a leak on the system while he was here. Explained everything he did in clear and easy to understand terms. He cleaned up everything before he left, leaving my house looking like he was never here.
Anderson installed a water softening system for me this morning. I had originally spoken to one of their competitors, who I was not impressed with. I called Anderson, and was able to speak to the head sales manager. All of my wife’s questions were answered, and an installation appointment was set up within days. The technician (Nick) was on time, personable, knowledgeable, and experienced. He was able to answer all of my questions, and explain everything about the equipment. I would highly recommend this service to anyone! We are thrilled to finally get rid of our hard water for our family!
I was in search of a better drinking water, as I have municipal city water at my house, and after browsing some local companies I made the decision to go with Anderson. They had someone come out and test the water for free and go through the different options. I shared which product I was interested in; the reverse osmosis water system and days later it was installed by licensed professionals. I now have any easy to maintain system and much better tasting water. Great decision! I financed for a year and then process took minutes to get approved.
Anderson came on time to provide routine maintenance service to our tankless hot water system they installed in 2014. The service tech, Sam was very professional & efficient as he flushed our system & changed the filter. The fee for service was within reason. Good value to keep our tankless hot water flowing without issues. I’ll never go back to a hot water heater tank.
Our technician, Nick Popielarz, came today to do a maintenance check on our Anderson Water System Unit and change filters. We learned a lot from him about how to operate our system and how to do it ourselves in the future. He was super knowledgeable and definitely a people person. He took the time to go over all the steps to maintain our system! We were extremely happy with the service he provided today!
I received a call from Anderson Systems informing me that they had detected a problem with my generator and made an appointment to service the problem. The technician was very courteous and personable. He found the problem quickly and corrected it, tested it, and explained the issue before leaving. I am very happy with the service experience.
Service water softener system.Sam was prompt, professional and technically precise in fixing the two leaking bypass valves on our Rain Soft Water system. He had the correct parts and tools and quickly resolved the problem with only one trip to his truck. A excellent repair in shortest amount of time!
While there was a scheduling issue, I could not be happier with the install. The crew was professional. As someone who schedules and trains field installation crews, I was really happy with how these two installers worked as a team. The senior installer took the time to teach and show aspects that are different or unique to our install. They worked very clean, the install was neat and they taught me how to use the unit as well. Anderson should be proud of these two installers. They did a great job. Thank you!
Performed service maintenance on house generator (not a repair). Service technician (Devin) was very polite, courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. He arrived within the time window, performed his work quickly and thoroughly, and explained what he did and the results of his inspection and work.
This company is a class act operation with a down home friendly disposition. I bought a generator from them and they installed it. The salesman was fun to work with and the the telephone calls with schedulers were friendly and informative. The installers absolutely get 5 stars from me. They came to my house on time with smiles and were ready to get right to work. They had incredible patience with me as we spent at least 45 minutes just walking around my yard as I kept changing my mind about where to place the unit. On top of all that Chris (highly recommend you ask for him) went out of his way to do extra work to relocate things attached to my house to make it possible to place the unit exactly where I wanted it. I am very happy with my experience with this company and I highly recommend them.
Was a very loyal customer for over 10 years. Bought a second house and agreed to a price with Brian and they never showed up on set date. I received a call from installer hours after my appointment time and said. I’m not coming i gotta watch my kids. Never called to reschedule and was then offered a credit on the unit so i said fine. Then was told they don’t wanna honor there pricing not worth doing the job. Why offer it then. They don’t honor their pricing then try to blame there help problems on the customer. Not a good company anymore.
Andersons service and customer communications continue to be top-notch. Their Service Tech Mike Matteson is the perfect combination of knowledgeable professional and excellent representative of his company. I can wholeheartedly recommend Anderson Power in general, and Mike Matteson in particular.
This is the first time Ive ever posted a review for a company but felt compelled due to the unprofessional nature of this company. I purchased an entire water system from Anderson approximately 3 years ago. Problems began shortly thereafter. Their customer service department is slow to respond and there are significant charges when they do appear. After a recent routine visit by their company at a cost of $377, the injector pump they installed 3 years ago (they should last 10-20 years) failed to work immediately after their visit. It was 3 years old. Anderson wanted to charge me for an additional visit to confirm the pump wasnt working, a new pump at $600-$800 plus the installation charge. I tried to speak with the Supervisor and they have completely refused to respond to any requests to resolve the situation. Ive found Andersons service policies are unprofessional and they do not stand by their work once the system is installed. I would strongly advise using a different company for such a large investment.
Amazing service! Old tankless broke leaving us with no hot water. Called in a panic. Anderson angel, Lea, was so sympathetic and sent a person out to look at our old one that NIGHT, had a suitable replacement in STOCK and scheduled the next day to install it. I was so very grateful. What a great team.
We just had Anderson come in to install a whole house system. Mike, the technician was very timely, clean, and thorough. I was impressed that he left the work area in the same clean condition that he found it, not many contractors do that anymore! He took time to explain everything with the system and took all of our questions. The system has been running only a few hours and you can already notice a difference. Our hands are softer and we ran a load of laundry and it used substantially less soap! We are very happy with the system and the install process. We have already recommended Anderson to family that will be building a new house and has a well water system.
We recently used Anderson Water Systems for maintenance on a residential water system and I could not be more pleased with the service we received with the initial call to the office to the experience with the tech on-site, Nick P. I would highly, highly recommend this business.
I have used Anderson Water Systems for more than twenty years and have recommended their products and service to friends and family. Sadly, their customer relations have recently declined. Our serviceman was on his phone for a large part of our hourly service call, using foul language and huffing and puffing his way through a job he clearly did not want to be doing. The system failed and we wanted it removed. This gentleman complained the whole time he worked about its incorrect installation which was done by his colleagues years before. It was a very disappointing end to a long and satisfactory relationship.
My wife and I are very pleased that we chose Anderson Water & Power for our needs. Really a professional and caring company. Always there to answer any questions we might have about our generator. They recently sent two technicians to perform our yearly maintenance service on our unit. They arrived at our home at exactly the time they said they would. I live in an area with very hard water and was recommended this company after having my water tested. Anderson Water installed a water treatment system that now allows me to drink right from the tap (goodbye bottled water)! All team members I interacted with during the process were professional and very knowledgeable about their products. Having good water to drink and shower with is very important to me. If you are looking water treatment solutions in the Upstate NY area I highly recommend this company - they know water!
Team was a little late and not informed well of this particular situation( new gas meter etc) but they did a good job of getting updated quickly and dove into the job and worked hard and were very skilled and knowledgeable so that they left by 4 PM or so with a completed job.They were very flexible with our circuit changes we requested late in the day and were very attentive to our concerns.Job site was left clean except for a few Rubber gloves found in the yard after they left.
We purchased a Cummins generator from Anderson a couple of summers ago. This past winter we lost power and our generator did not automatically start. That issue was resolved that day, however we have had on going issues with dropped internet communication with Cummins. After numerous service calls by Anderson, that issue was resolved by their technician Sean. My husband and I appreciate Sean’s persistence to determine and correct (hopefully permanently) that problem. 5 stars to Sean!!
I had a whole house water treatment system installed - $13600. The installation went well, however their costumer service needs work! Waiting times for service are ridiculous, anywhere from 2-3 weeks. When it was finally my turn, no one showed up. Needless to say I was furious, after having waited the whole day. They re-scheduled the service call for 3 weeks later. This is unacceptable behavior and poor management.
I scheduled an appointment for 4/20/2020. The technician was prompt and called ahead of time. Mike M was very professional and thorough. I didnt go out to look at the generator after he finished but was thoroghly surprised and delighted that he cleaned the generator housing so that it was spotless and looked like the day it was installed. That is something I didnt expect and it reflected his pride for his work. He also answered a few questions that I had asked and did so politely and patiently. Thanks Mike. for a job well done.
Salesman was a typical schmoozer. Nice enough so it didnt bother me at first. After his ptich he gives us a large $. When we told him we wanted to sleep on it, he immediately shut down, gave us guilt trips to try and get us to impulse buy, and was incredibly rude right up until he walked out the door. Basically trying to make us feel bad for wasting his time. After that show of poor professionalism, I 100% will not be buying anything from this company or this salesman in particular.He mentioned having an 89% success rate with house visits... As if to gloat in the face of rejection. Sorry buddy. Consider us that 11%
Just had Josh here to do routine maintenance on our Anderson water purification system. He was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. FAST TOO! I expected it would take two hours but he was done with everything in 45 minutes. This included our chlorinator tank, Stentor pump, Rain Soft column/valves, Ultra filter and clean-up of the water on the floor before he left. Im impressed!
Excellent technician who installed our new water system. Arrived timely and performed the work efficiently. Very good at explaining how everything works and how to maintain the system. Took care of everything and cleaned up the work site and left no less behind! Highly recommend their services.
Knowledgeable, professional, and respectful service person. We have had an Anderson Power System going on 16 years. I get it serviced every year and have had only had one problem to which a service person was sent out quickly and remedied the problem. Great company and great people!
Anderson Water Systems was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the equipment they were installing. They answered all questions that I had and after the equipment was installed walked me through step by step as to which each thing function as. The sales staff is extremely friendly and personable. The technician that installed the equipment was knowledgeable about the equipment he was installing and the setup was neat and clean. The system works great. I couldnt be happier.
The technician Mike did a very thorough job with the installation. Upon installing all units he made sure we understood how everything worked. He was very knowledgeable and made sure any questions we had we answered. As well as he was very professional. I would definitely recommend Anderson Water Systems to others.
Mike did a wonderful job also he was very neat (he even cleaned up some of the mess I left). My wife was very comfortable around him. I bought a whole house generator in March 2020 and we have not had a single power failure since. With all of the recent power outages due to winter weather, I checked my generator status using the app and discovered a problem. Anderson came out promptly to service the unit and discovered that snow was causing inadequate ventilation. Lesson learned: keep the area clear of snow whether you are home or not. Otherwise the unit could fail. Likewise, monitor the app weekly to ensure that there are no problems. I went back through my email history of generator events and discovered that the problem actually started in early November. Not sure that was the same issue but lesson #2 learned as well.
So. One week later has anyone from Anderson called me or my husband? Nope. Instead the owner tried to blame the delays on my husband for not getting back to the insurance company. This is patently false and we have ample documentation to back it up.But while we are on the subject of insurance delays, who do we talk to at Anderson for the MORE THAN SIX WEEKS which transpired between notifying you of the damages and your company filing an insurance claim?3 weeks have transpired since the insurance adjuster visited my property to witness the damage, and still not a single solitary word from Anderson.Sir, you can contort your body into weird positions to pat yourself on the back for your customer service all you want. But it is shameful of you to try to shift the blame on us when your company was clearly at fault.And were still waiting for your excuse for not returning any of our phone calls for 9 weeks now!
Attention all seniors---I order 16 bags of water softener potassium chloride from Anderson every couple of years and they make it so easy. Pay by credit card, make an appointment for delivery, multiple texts telling you when they will arrive with a picture of the employee making the delivery. Then, they show up on time and bring 600 lbs of product to my basement without missing a beat. Jeremy, the delivery man, did a great job!
This is the second time we have met with Brian in our home to discuss an Anderson Water and Power Product. The first time we met was to discuss and subsequently purchase a UV Water Filtration System. We also added a reverse osmosis system. Today, Brian came out to consider a replacement option for our twenty-year-old water softener. We were impressed with Brians knowledge of the old system as well as the new systems available. He was also able to educate us on other options available and the differences between systems. We felt confident in Brians recommendations. Brian also did not pressure us, which we very much appreciated.
Our sales Brian did not don’t seem like a knowledgeable Rep. He attempted to sale is a system without looking at our current system. Brain also made very inappropriate and unprofessional comments to my family. I would not recommend Anderson based upon his actions alone.
I was a little skeptical at first about having a complete water system put in to help with our extremely iron, hard water, but decided, after speaking with Brian Geer the sales rep, we were convinced we couldnt go wrong. We did not go wrong and after 3 months I cant tell you how satisfied I am with this life time warranted system. Their immediate response to any questions I had were met in a very timely manner. Great people, great company.
I wish there was more transparency and honesty when we bought our water system. We were told any issues we’d be able to have someone come out to check the system no problem, and that we could order filters each year. We were not told it’s $148 just to have someone to come out on top of labor or parts. Our system also has 5 parts that need to be replaced and are costly and I wish I had known all of this before I spent $6k on a water system that isn’t working. We’ve had to replace multiple parts on our system and it’s still leaking yet we have to pay for someone to come fix it.
Had my hot water tank fail Tuesday morning. Tried the home warranty and wasnt going to get someone from that company till mabye that night to look at it.I went on Home Advisor and Rick from Anderson called almost immediately, he dispatched Ismael that afternoon and we ran through some options.Next morning Eric and Pete showed up for the install and did a fantastic job removing old unit and installing both a sump pump and tankless water heater. Work looks great (I used to be a HVAC installer) and it functions perfectly for my size house. They cleaned up all areas and were extremely polite and helpful throughout the installation.Great response time, and outstanding work done.
Anderson Water Systems is a great upstate NY water treatment solutions company. Glad to have been able to find them. Everything they do and what they did for us is absolutely amazing! We would certainly recommend them to anyone in need of water treatment solutions. Also, their staff from sales to installation including customer service have been tremendous. Very satisfied CNY customer!
I had a generator installed, they didn’t install the WiFi for it, in my communication with the office they kept changing my time for install and they tell me I need to request to talk to Tom the owner which I do every time I call, about 5 times and he still had not contacted me, customer service is out the door with this company as once they hey your money they ignore you. I’m not satisfied at all, terrible 😣 and upsetting company
Had problem with my Rainsoft system, Mike tested and found a failed valve. He replaced it, as well as checking other components and cleaning as needed. He carried in the heavy boxes of peroxide and filled the tank, too. He explained things as he was working on system, and answered any questions I had. Mike was very pleasant, upbeat and clearly knew his craft. Very good experience with Anderson Water service!
I was very please with the job done to install the generator. the workers where friendly, neat and knew what they where doing. I would recommend Anderson to anyone. Showed up promptly but failed to supply a written quote as requested. Company made the simple process of getting a quote into a much larger process than it needed to be and... never even supplied the requester quote in writing. Nonetheless, Marlock Electric provided exactly what was requested at a better rate. As a business owner, I was not impressed at all by Anderson and would not recommend them.
Great service from Jeff. He explained everything to me in great detail. Hes very personable and talked extremely highly about the Anderson company and products. Well be recommending you guys. We got the water conditioner system and its awesome. Effects were immediate and skin is feeling great.
They were very professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves and work out a solution on where to install it my original police was my garage because I have very little space in my house but were able to work out a spot for it to go. I was a little disappointed finding out in two years I have to replace the one tank or the innards of the carbon tank I was not informed that on the date of sale. So thats a couple hundred dollars that I wasnt expecting I would need to do in a couple years.
We had Mike come into our newly built home to fix a pre installation disaster on a Sunday, 2 days after out initial installation. He was extremely thorough, answered all of our questions, was extremely polite and professional, and did a great job fixing everything. Very impressed. The sales process was not high pressure at all. Brian was very informative and helped educate us on all aspects of water treatment/filtration. Once we agreed on a system, they were prompt in their installation. Even though we live in the middle of nowhere, there was no extra cost or charges for our installation. My wife and I have high expectations and can be very picky with big purchases like this. Anderson was uber patient with us and came back out multiple times at no charge until everything was perfect. If you are thinking about adding or updating a water system, I would highly recommend you consider Anderson!!
Dave from Anderson Water was friendly and efficient. He listened to our concerns and helped us select the right spot for our reverse osmosis system. The install was done in a timely fashion and took some extra time at the end to answer care questions. He also got our older water softer up to date with new filtering medium. We could recommend Dave and Anderson Water.
Mike and John performed an installation at our home. Job was professionally done. Team arrived on time and finished within the estimated time given. Both did an excellent job of explaining key points of the system and adequately answered all of my questions.Great work!
While we are brand new to Anderson our purchase and service experience we excellent. Mike, our installer, worked diligently throughout the morning and did a very professional job.I don’t imagine we will have problems but feel confident that the Anderson team “has my back” should any issues arise.
I was greeted with a smile by Mike. He was very respectful of my home and kind to my cats. He did a wonderful job on my water system and my Reverse Osmosis water system. I had a complaint about my service from several years back and he addressed it with the office and didnt charge me for an appointment that I was totally at fault for missing.
The technicians are always courteous and have as much time needed to answer all questions and are quick to respond to any concerns. They make it known that its the customers who keep the business going. I use Anderson for both my generator and water filtration system needs. Thank you!!

2022-03-17This company was amazing. I would recommend using Anderson for any of their services. Brian, the sales director, came to my house for a free quote for an installation of a well filter system. He took the time to test our water and explain everything from the results of the water tests and what products would work and how they work. He was extremely friendly and very personable. He was able to get us an appointment THE NEXT DAY for the entire installation, which was amazing. Nathan, the installation technician, came the next morning with all the supplies and ready to work. He knew that I needed to work hat night and was going to sleep and, without asking, he was as quiet as he possible could be which is very much appreciated since I was expecting to be up all day. He took time, after the installation, to go through each system that was installed, how they worked, how to change filters, very common problems with solutions and where to get majority of the supplies if needed. He ran and capped a line for my refrigerator that will be delivered next week and also put a new drinking faucet so my drinking water was separate from the rest of the water! He was also very friendly and personable. I am very glad I chose Anderson water-power-air for this project and will use them again for future projects!

2022-03-31We had a whole home soft water filtration system installed along with a reverse osmosis system for drinking water. The experience from beginning to end was absolutely incredible! Brian came to give us an estimate, he was right on time and very professional. He explained every step while he was testing our water and gave us a sample of water that was filtered through reverse osmosis. Their financing options are great and 3 days later the system was installed. Nathan was the technician that came to install the system he gave me a call letting me know his ETA he was also on time and extremely professional left no mess answered all questions I had and walked me through the entire system step by step before he leftThank you Anderson water power air for making this experience an enjoyable one!

2022-07-26Sam called me to confirm his timing the morning of installation for my water softener system. I told him I had a prior appt that I would be rushing him from to meet the timing the company had planned and he reassured me not to rush and that he would plan on arriving 30 minutes later than expected. When he arrived, he was very professional and friendly and immediately made me feel at ease. He reviewed the installation process with me and communicated every step along the way, ensuring that I would be happy with placement of filters and other equipment. He tested all sinks, instructed me on how to use the new system, and reassured me that I could call with any questions. I feel very confident in the system and the installation and highly recommend Sam!

2022-02-17My tech was great! Walked me through everything. Super easy to talk to and down to earth. Went above and beyond showing me how to check my faucets for debris. Gave me a stellar run down of our new system and what to expect. I would highly recommend Anderson’s and their tech Nate. Also I love knowing if anything goes wrong I can call them vs diy. 2022-01-19We had Mike come today on a two foot snow day to change our battery charger and our battery on our generator. He was so nice and kind and did such a great job on such a cold day. Came earlier than expected which was great. I love the service I do get at Anderson. Mike was exceptional and a great employee. 2022-06-21I went with Anderson Water- Power- Air to have a whole home water filtration system installed in my new home. My new house is on well water and the water was hard and full of sediment, iron, manganese, and I had a very strong sulfer smell when running my hot water. I had Alex come to my home and perform a water test to see exactly what was in my water and what I needed to clean it up. Alex is very knowledgeable and did an excellent job showing/ explaining everything to me so that I could see without a doubt what I needed. He set me up with everything I needed and they had one of their Journeyman Plumbers (Ed) come out the following week to install my new whole home water filtration system. Ed is a very skilled plumber and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied and everything was working perfectly. From start to finish this whole process that I was dreading became a breeze thanks to Anderson Water- Power- Air. Thank you to Alex, Ed, and Lea for all that you guys did to get my water clean, soft, and drinkable!

2022-01-29Kevin and Shane installed our Gas powered back up generator on a day when the wind chill factor was below zero and the snow was 30 inches deep. They did the job professionally, quickly and without complaint. They worked well together, each knowing his particular tasks. Kevin explained what we needed to know with respect to operating the device.I was particularly impressed with Andersons attention to detail. They sent regular e-mails over the weeks prior to installation day with notification information, including a picture of Kevin just prior to his arrival. The office personnel were successful in negotiating a problem acquiring a town permit without getting me too involved.Using the back-up generator is a task I wish I never have to do (although we have already had two electrical power failures this 2021-2022 winter season prior to installation). Predicated on my experience with Anderson to date, I am anticipating a successful relationship during the operation and maintenances phases of my generator.

No need for use yet but feel relieved from worry if we lose primary electrical power. Tom Anderson gave us very informative and professional answers and advice related to install and backup sump pump which made me confident he was a pro.
