I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars! Cute little hidden gem. Small little outdoor seating for my group of 5. Food was amazing, everyone was polite and welcoming. They were super busy with take out orders but we still got all of our food quickly and everything was correct! Highly recommend and will be going back anytime I’m in the area!
I went to this breakfast spot the service is horrible. Its a horrible breakfast place and the staff is really disgusting and rude. I placed an order and paid for it and they refused to give me my food. I would not recommend anyone eat here. The staff also isnt clean, they do not wear masks or gloves while fixing your food. I would not recommend eating here its soooo bad.
The Owners of this store is petty and I dont advise anyone to deal with them. Especially for deliveries. This store is in an ideal location where there is not many options so if your not using uber eats like many of its local customers you will be subject to missing food and bad service calling the actual store for orders
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!My daughter and I went to Angies for breakfast. I found a roach in my food. When I told the waiter she hurried and took the plate before I could take a pic. The manager came out and told me that they would make my food over and rejected. I didnt eat nothing but a spoon full before I saw the roach I just want my money back. The owner went back and forth trying to convince me to accept a new plate of food.
Most horrible place to order food from , the food is disgusting and they had me waiting on hold on the phone for over 20 mins like how can you forget you have someone on the phone ready to order

I had a great garden vegetable omelette and hugeeee side of grits! The previews reviews about “bad service” had me a little nervous, but everyone was polite from the moment I called to place an order to when I picked it up. I was a 10 minute walk and it was ready when I arrived. Delicious coffee, I didn’t need to add anything to it! May be too sweet for others though.

The food is ok but this place does NOT follow directions. It doesn’t matter how many times u say it, add a note or call up there, I’m convinced they just don’t care. If a language barrier is the issue, they need to hire someone that can help relay the message. I also once found a staple from the bag in my food. It was clearly a mistake but do better. I like the food but it’s annoying because I’ve ordered at least 7 times and something was either missing or not as I asked. The requests are simple things such as ketchup or jelly. Do better. Oh yeah and that one old lady in the front has a nasty attitude always trying to be confrontational and say something smart. I jump for joy when I don’t see her

Delicious Dominican, Puerto Rican and American food
I placed an order for pick up through postmates and I arrived 45 minutes after and they tell me my order wasn’t ready. So after another 20 minutes of waiting they give me someone else’s order and I tell them this isn’t my order. Then they express to me that they never received it and that I need to contact postmates myself. Even though they had already charged my card and I told the lady 3 times what my order was before. It was very very frustrating as I was there waiting with my 7 month old. I ended up just leaving with no food.
When in with my wife to order breakfast…anyways long story short…we waited to be attended to but the whole time we were there we were ignored staff was very rude never acknowledged that we were even there and only really cared about the Uber eats orders

I made an order through uber eats at 11:30. Estimated delivery was for 1220 and got pushed back 3 times. I called at 1:00 pm waited on the phone for 5 minutes and 47 seconds for them to tell me uber just did not pick up the food. Which is a complete lie. If that was the case you would have been able to tell me that immediately. Also, he also said to me that it had been ready 10-15 minutes ago. which would have been between 12:45 and 12:50 which still means it took you over an hour to prepare the food., which is still unacceptable. My issue is simply communication. My number is there and you could have simply gave me a call to tell me you were running behind instead of blaming it on uber. For that, I will never purchase from there again. Businesses , whether big or small should value their customers, and at minimum, communicate with them. It really goes a long way.
I LOVE their empanadas! Get the Chipotle sause to go along with them! Get them from uber eats for faster service!

Food not bad most of the time but wow the coffee has sooo much sugar its unbelievable. I asked for sugar on the side but nope! 8 packs in my tiny coffee... Please guys if your serving coffee this sweet by default you are hurting your community. I do not recommend delivery from here they charge 9$ for large fresh OJ and the cheaper smaller size is sold out?? Lol the OJ is not bad but is never cold. They will substitute your order without notice if they do not have it. They do not honor notes or requests.
The service has gone down tremendously. I did an order for pic up n the worthless waitress who I believe cant read, argued me down about my order on UBER...they dont have it. It wasnt until another waitress who recognized me looked and my name was on the bag right up front. Im done supporting them.
The food is good here but if you are calling for delivery it is horrible they will pick up the phone say hello and just put the phone down without saying hold on or anything in the middle of you placing your order from anywhere to 5 to 15 mins this has happened on many occasions.IF YOU ARE THAT BUSY JUST DONT ANSWER THE PHONE OR GET SOMEONE TO JUST TAKE PHONE ORDERS!! this is rude and people are at home working .
Its good for what it is: local breakfast dinner with all the classics. Great service. Very friendly and attentive and you can NOT beat the prices. There could be a long wait since it’s not very big. The food itself is fine, not the freshest but it does the job. We will be returning since it’s a great place just a few blocks from our house. The kids menu is also very good, I appreciate that they have mini pancakes.
Good food.. nice people who work there and service. Food looked so fresh.. they have lunch specials and hot buffet choices. Or you can pick from the menu. Overall I really enjoyed it. The place gets busy so be a little patient. Nice little hole in the wall kind of spot. If you are looking for mimosas and linen table cloths, not the place for you. If you are looking for good Latin food and a decent place to sit.. welcome to Angies. .
The service was okay but the food was not that great. Everything was either too sugary or too salty, their breakfast was not to my liking. And I’m pretty sure the Nutella I requested was not even Nutella, not sure what other items on the menu are like but their breakfast is not good.
Just finished my carry out Mex omelet w/home fries and a side of sweet plantains. Absolutely delicious! And a happy lively Saturday morning crowd getting great service from very busy staff.1st visit but plan to make Angies a habit.
In all honesty I would give half a star but I have to give one full one. First off the shakes oh god the shakes, they were terrible. The pineapple shake starts off fine then you get hit with a bitter taste before you even get an after taste. Your mouth doesn’t even leave the straw. The omelettes were sub par and left a lot to be desired as far as flavor. The coffee was so sweet it made me feel like my teeth were going to fall off. The only good thing about my breakfast was the drink that came in a bottle that wasn’t even made by them. All in all I am not satisfied and I will never eat from here again.
Delicious breakfast food. Order online or to go, they are always packed and showing up to find a seat may take some time. I recommend carrot/ginger/pineapple juice and beef sausage with grits or on a croissant with eggs. Ive been eating at Angies over a year when I visit BK and Ive never had a bad meal here. Even the friends Ive taken have loved it ❤️
They really need to work on customer service I order for delivery, call order to pick up, or go in and order to take out always have issues that you would think is resolve when you return over and over I have been late for work waiting for food that is never correct what I ordered, credit card machines always having problems, items that I ordered and paid for not in my bag when I reach my destination. I havent been in months decided to grab a quick bite before starting my new job to place order and told that after 20 min of waiting for food taking attitude from wait staff I was told card machines are not working.
Food is fine, been going here for years but some of the staff is beyond rude. They talk about you in spanish thinking you do not know. Attitude is given and its very unprofessional. Got to the point, another woman had to take over my service because the older one was being ridiculously rude. This is not to discourage anyone from going because the food is good and some stuff is friendly but some of the others leave a bad taste in your mouth from their rudeness.
I hit the breakfast up ... Loving it...... Classic Spanish breakfast..... The oatmeal brings nostalgia....... Not expensive..... And they dont mess up your order...... A++++

Got too sick during my trip in NY to go out to get food and found Angie’s breakfast spot on google delivered. The food came in a timely manner and was very good! Definitely big American portions, we loved it!! I definitely recommend the Nutella topping (it’s drizzled on top of the waffles)!
The Women in there are horrible! They look at you with nasty faces, they didn’t greet me! I greeted them! They went pass me and to another person as if I wasn’t waiting patiently for them to take my order. Very nasty attitudes for ppl that’s making food. I’ll never go again. Like ever.
My go to place for Breakfast in Bushwick. A gem in the neighborhood.
While the place seemed attractive by its menu offerings and pricings, I was more than disappointed. Sat at the bar while being one of maybe 10 people total in the restaurant. Somehow still took over 5 minutes to get even greeted, albeit rudely. Also managed to mess an extremely simple order of eggs up. On top of that their internet was down or something so had to use the interior ATM which slaps you with a owner fee (never heard of this before, which I assume goes to the restaurant?) as well as a transaction fee. Oh! Also really enjoyed the syrup they had, as it tasted like decomposed cardboard which may have met some sugar substance in a few previous lifetimes.Was hoping to make this a neighborhood staple, but big ole hell to no. This place blows.
NEVER ordering from here again. I ordered a large ice coffee and when I open it I found a cockroach leg. Disgusting! Glad I found it so I know not to order from here again .

Use to like this spot. But the service sucks. Workers are often rude unless your a male. Angie is very polite and professional the rest need to follow her lead. Fresh squeeze orange juice use to be amazing now it taste watered down. Very disappointed in the direction the restaurant has gone.
Just walked out of this establishment...my food came up to almost $9 & I was told there is a $10 min ... mind you, I waited almost 30 mins for a 2 go order because they ran out of sausage at 10am ... the sign for the $10 min was hidden & was pulled out after I asked for courtesy . I’ve spent a lot of money here over time and the fact that I wasn’t allowed to use to debit for $1 showed the lack of proper customer service . I’ll never return here again.. my money matters
I ordered a whiting breakfast and the fish was old and over cooked and I called the restaurant and the guy that answered the phone said all there food was fresh and the manager said the same thing horrible food and horrible customer service
Thought we would go help a local restaurant. Horrible food, horrible service. We literally had to ask if they would stop eating their lunch to come take our bill. Greek salad was iceberg lettuce with some store bought feta. Waitress never came back after serving us.
Ive eaten here for about 2 years now, regularly and their prices and quality of food and taste even presentation are unmatched for the neighborhood, their food is excellent. Coffee is on the money, very strong. I highly recommend you eat here for breakfast and they open at 6AM perfect for before work a nice hearty breakfast thats good in price and tastes great. Check em out.

I love this place but if Angie is not there it does not run right . They take forever to take your order even when it’s 4 ppl in the whole restaurant which is not a way to treat ppl spending their money at your establishment!!!!!! Very busy place. Service is very impersonal if youre not a regular but the price, portions, variety and taste is worth it if you know going in. Also, paying with cash is easier, especially as their card machine goes down a lot
Breakfast was delicious, everything was made to order. First time trying Beef Bacon, it was so good ordered seconds. Strawberry and banana French toast was my favorite.

Angies Bfast Spot is spot on with its name and delivers the all American breakfast amicably. A favorite go to for neighbors in close proximity, so you may find it bustling with chatter if you visit. All in all you cant beat a good hot bfast for a deliciously affordable price.

2022-05-03My first time ordering from here. I didn’t want to go by the reviews because I don’t judge until I have my own experience. I asked for scrambled and got an omelet instead. The menu says with preset comes tea or a choice of coffee, that’s a lie. There’s also no description on how the food is made. I’m allergic to onions so now I can’t even eat my breakfast because I was under the impression it was an actual salmon with actual scrambled eggs. I tried to call about the drinks didn’t see this till now. I will be calling back and see what happens. Updated laterUpdate: they got really nasty with me. Told me that a drink doesn’t go with it. Told me that, that deal had expired yet it wasn’t removed from the menu. They told me I had to contact DoorDash not them. (Even though they made the food) I received a refund from DoorDash but still it didn’t take away the fact my food was made wrong and I couldn’t even eat it. I gave it to my roommate

2022-05-24This restaurant used to be my go to spot. My kids loved their animal pancakes and we used to have it as part of our Saturday morning routine.Sadly yesterday I ordered breakfast and I had called GrubHub originally because they got my coffee wrong but then as I started to eat my breakfast I almost choked on this huge piece of metal that was in my supreme scrambler. I immediately called the restaurant and it was placed on hold several times (by hold they put the phone down and let me just hear all of the noise in the background ). I spoke to four different people each time having to reiterate my story. The third person that I spoke to actually had the nerve to tell me that it was the drivers fault that there was a metal bar mixed in with my scrambled eggs.By the time I got to the fourth person I was very upset that they were not taking this seriously and that I was extremely worried about other people. As you can see in the picture the bar is broken so there could’ve been metal in other peoples food too. The last person guaranteed that the manager or owner of the restaurant would call me back and it’s now been 24 hours later. I tried calling back today and no one will answer my calls.For Public Safety I would not recommend eating at this restaurant anymore

2022-05-20Food is really good but the lady that answered the phone is rude and accused me of being someone that called before for a delivery that wasnt near 😑 it was my first time calling I always order on door dash wrong person.....Oh and the empanadas were very dry......the sweet plantain and cheese had no cheese and the sweet Italian sausage and onion had plenty of onions but little to no meat/no sauce so dry just disappointing

2022-04-15I ordered a half and half and I was drinking it because I did not know that the bottom of the cup was so dirty because I had it in the bag so I couldn’t see what was inside it personally I don’t know what that is but it’s nasty and I also ordered some food they brought me burnt toast like how is it hard to me toast🤦🏻♀️

2022-06-27I ordered my food online had to wait over a hour and a half for food never received it went to call the number listed online and got a dead line. Paid over $20 just to get nothing. NEVER AGAIN

2022-03-08Fresh Juice and chicken empanadas delicious and nicely made. The fresh made juices were tasty. Next time with more time, I shall dine and enjoy more of the menu.

2020-07-22They get no Stars. I been going to this place for years.I was so disappointed. I spent almost $20.00. My 2 plates of Grits went to waste. I will not be returning. My Turkey Bacon wasnt done, I had to ask for it to be put back on the grill. Which I was told it will be burnt if they did. I just wanted my food done RIGHT.

2019-06-15Even with a Saturday brunch crowd, the food & service was quick. The shrimp quesadillas are filling and incredibly rich; I would have preferred it with a lime wedge to lighten it a bit. The waffles are more the consistency of pancakes but they are quite filling also. The side salad was nothing to write home about but it was refreshing.

2021-10-25The breakfast spot closes at 3 pm which is fine because its a breakfast spot. The counter is covered with a plastic covering but the seating area was not. The food looked delicious. The food lacked flavor which I think was more upsetting because of how good the food looked. Your expectations from presentation is higher. The price was good though. Unlike most breakfast or diner setting they also do not refill your coffee. Its not a destination. The train and traffic also add a lot of noise.
