Absolutely incredible. Getting to celebrate one year anniversary under new ownership with Amman. Please if ever get a chance to come through Angola you must stay here quaint friendly super extreme customer service to the Max. Definitely recommend by highly well traveled individual always looking for the best bargain with the best satisfaction. Please disregard all negative reviews of this hotel and understand that it is truly a gem to be experience and cherish for summers in summers to come.
I give this Motel a 2 star rating , because it deserves just that ! Not a good place for a family friendly atmosphere , but rather a place for a out of town team workforce that might rent for their employed laborers for what Im sure would have to be at a reduced price/ package deal ! Not a classy place to take anyone , in my opinion , Im sure their are seedier Motels , however , this is a Motel that houses locals for a weekly / monthly bases !
The only OK thing about this hotel is the privacy and the location. It’s in a fairly secluded spot as far as traffic, etc....very close to the lake and an easy drive to buffalo and surrounding cities.HOWEVER.....other than that this place is like the bates motel. It’s disgusting, had to wear my sandals on the shower, bought a new towel bc the ones provided were stained and smelled off, the AC/fan unit looked like it had not been cleaned or serviced since the 70s & i can only imagine what is growing/living in there. I also had to bribe the proprietors ($40) to get an early check-in and late checkout even though there was literally not a single other car in the parking lot of the hotel for most of my stay. Will never stay here again.
Ended up paying alot more then what we were told the total of the room would be, wouldnt be an issue considering it wasnt by much except the air conditioner took hours to kick in and the room was boiling, the bathroom door didnt close, and the excessive amount of mold on the shower curtain was a little extra I didnt pay for. Decided to up and leave and not stay our second night.
While appearing outwardly sketchy, our room was actually very nice, and acceptably clean. No wi-fi that Im aware of. Beds were hard. Bathroom was updated and the shower had great water pressure.
Not bad for the price.. room was clean.

The room was so disgusting that we left after getting a couple hours sleep. After being in the room for 10 minutes, I was actually nauseous from the filth and smoke stench. The place looked like prostitutes would take their work there. My boyfriend and I both have dreadlocks and were so scared of bed bugs we couldnt sleep. I would absolutely never recommend someone staying here. Were road tripping and have been in far more comfortable, clean rooms for the same price. We brought in our own pillows and slept on our sleeping bags. The only reason this is getting one star is because I have to give it something to post a review.

Heater did not work, owner would not switch our room and told us that the heater is working 56F in the room and he kept telling us it would get worm, it never did. The place is old, sketchy people stay there. Bank called and asked if I was staying there, after doing some investigation they have had many fraudulent charges after guest would leave they will try to bill you again additional hoping people wouldnt notice. I suggest paying in cash. They do not clear the snow so if its snowing bad good luck getting out. Check in is about as old as it gets, Im surprised they have a card reader. Very small rooms and the price is about the same a franchise hotel around the area. I just got snowed in and had to wait till the afternoon of the next day to get out and no they still didnt clear the parking lot.
A nice and affordable space. The staff was very friendly and we was very satisfied with free wifi and parking. There is a beach nearby for a stroll and beautiful view not to miss.

This place is right in town. Its not a Marriott 🏨 buts its comfy no one bothers you and you can walk to for of your main stores to shop.

Motels are motels always find them dirty. Curtains look like you see in the movies like a crime scene something splattered all over dried up. Dont care for places like them.
Not many motels around here..so rooms kinda dated..but tv and shower are good and they just got WiFi..so for the 67$ I. Paid was good..nice peoples who run it..I think they are from India

2022-02-26I rented 2 rooms, one for my husband and me and one for my daughter and grandchildren, both rooms were downright nasty. The bathroom sink had hair like whiskers in it. The rooms smelled. I don’t think they do more than change the sheets, if they even do that much. We rented these rooms to stop for the night after traveling all day through snow and sleet. Find another motel this is not worth the money at all, it’s just gross.

2021-12-11I do regret not reading the reviews before coming to stay here. Pay an extra 20 bucks and stay somewhere else. Room was dirty but what can you expect from a hotel on the cheaper side. After taking a shower I discovered that the window in the bathroom lead to a room and not the outside. Then when laying down on the bed I felt a bug on my hand and it was a bed bug. After lifting the comforters on BOTH beds we did find more. Save your insanity. Go somewhere else

2021-12-06My wife & I love to travel across the U.S. Unfortunately for us we found ourselves in Angola during a downpour & desperate for a place to take a shower & get some sleep. This little motel was by far the filthiest, most disgusting, and worst maintained hotel/motel/inn that we have ever stayed while traveling throughout this country. And it wasnt inexpensive either. We should have asked to see the room before we agreed to pay for it. As it was said in the movie, run Forrest run. Take the extra 30 minutes of travel time and find a nice room like Home2Suites near the airport, the Westin at downtown Buffalo, or the Clarion in Dunkirk. Anywhere other than here.

2021-08-23By far the worst place I ever stayed at. Ac unit was insufficient. Cigarette burn holes all ove carpet and furniture. 2 chairs that should of been replaced 20 years ago were entirely stained and filthy. Bathroom floor was unfinshed, had no real flooring. Bathroom was filthy. Bed had no support, we literally rolled to the center of the bed. Manager or owner very unfriendly. We would of been better off staying in the tent we had.

2021-08-29$111 for a single night????? HERE??? if this wasn’t the only place in the area who would let me stay even though I am under 21, I’d definitely go somewhere else. unfortunately I’m too chicken to try and fight back against paying that much. just drive a few extra miles and go somewhere else. the only good thing is i didn’t see any bedbugs but honestly who knows. the entire location is dingy as heck.

2021-02-02First night was fine, second night was the disaster. I found bed bugs. While I thought the motel was just a little run down and in need of an update. I did not expect to be bit and now having to scramble to get my clothes clean. Update... went to the manager with a caught bed bug. He accused me of bringing them in, he claimed no one else has complained, I offered to show him the infestation I found and he refused. He then refused a refund. I had to spend a night sleeping in my car. Totally dishonest business practices.

2019-07-07Staff was friendly. Room was outdated, unclean, and overpriced for what its worth. Shower had no water pressure and light above stove almost caught fire within minutes of turning it on. When reservations were made we were told it would be $76 a night and ended up paying $105 a night upon arrival. Vending machines had no water. Overall, stay was doable because we only slept there during the 2 day vacation, but not satisfied with the stay for the price paid.
