The Best place for kids & adults alike. Apple picking is fun & by far they make the best Apple Cider.My nieces & nephews Love the hayrides. Great Place!!
Soons Orchards is more than pick your own apples. They have a nice little bar and liquor tasting. They also have a resturant and do dinners on various dates & times. Check the website for the different activities & festivities. They are open year around.
Poison Ivy Warning!Apple selection was ok. Only half or less of the trees were ready for picking early in the season (mid-Sept). The problem is poison ivy, not just on the ground but growing on the trees. Be careful!(See other reviewers’ pictures - those leaves of three are poison ivy!)

The focus is how much money they can make this season. very hard to walk through the apple orchards with the uneven ground and fallen, rotting apples that attract yellow jackets. The store is usually extremely packed and the employees are not friendly, just shouting out next. Would it kill them to smile?
Dont forget to stop at the farm market! Pies!Pies! Pies!
I would not go back here. It was over run with weeds, there was poison ivy growing up the trees that had apples left and they were charging $10 more for a half a bushel of pick your own than they were charging for the pre-picked apples in the store. Very disappointing!

We have been going to soons orchard for many years now the staff is courteous there orchards are well maintained and there shop is clean well stocked and ready to offer everything from fresh baked pies to the best produce and more.
Great little Orchard to pick your own apples Orchard is big enough to give you a great variety but small enough to not wear you and the kids out also have a fantastic Country Store and a great pumpkin picking experience with hayride included
Soons Orchard apple picking is a local favorite in the fall. Make sure to try one of Scottys pies!! Theyre a little expensive but I PROMISE its worth every penny!!

2021-10-12As always this was a lot of fun. We bring the family every year and if you are there at the right time there are many types of apples to pick. Summer has great peaches and isnt as busy and we always recommend stopping by the store for apple cider thats beyond amazing and flavorful cider donuts, plus many other food items youll be buying as you browse. 😉

2021-10-12Great place for a family outing. Apple picking is winding down but there are still some nice varieties available. Hop on a wagon and head down to the pumpkin patch. Dont feel like taking a bumpy ride down to the pumpkin patch thats okay select your pumpkin from one of the many tables available outside the store...great pumpkin prices! Before you leave dont forget to stop into the store for pies, Apple cider, fudge, honey, donuts, and a ton of other delicious goodies!

2021-10-29Had a lovely day here. From the hay ride, pumpkin picking, cider tasting, picnic and cocktails, apple picking, and market! Only thing which prevented me from 5 stars was the seating situation for the tap room. The hostess seemed frazzled and said they take walk ins but refused to take our number down or call us over from the bar in the next room (so they dont take walk ins?).

2021-10-09Soons apple orchard is great! Highly recommend for families,the only complaint I have is the orchard workers are alittle aggressive especially when we were trying to get the apples off the tree.It would be the best idea to have apple grabbers.

2018-04-08Biggest piece of adviceBuy the big bag, you wont get much in the small bag!!Its a fun and unique experience for the whole family. Weve gotten so far from. Our original roots of growing and harvesting our own food. My family and I really enjoy the experience of picking our own apples from the trees. Its almost like an Easter egg hunt. They have such a wide variety of apples too. Different types of apples are available different times of the year so its worth going back again..
