Very unprofessional.. and you take an appointment to buy the phone 13 and when the appointment comes they tell you there is nothing.. I lost my time on an appointment with a company that does not respect appointments ((everything with money)) It is not for free ((we just want respect))
On the terms of retail service: horrible due to simple laziness. I had visit this exact store about three days prior and was told no iPads were in stock. The retail genius recommended to shop online for store pickup to find the product I wanted. The very next day at work, I went to apple.com to find the exact same product, color and specs that I wanted to be in stock at this location. The Christmas season fatigues everyone, I get it, but dont lie for simple gratification. Talk about genius..yeah right.
Amazing how Christian took the time to figure out the issue with the cell battery. Furthermore, he resolved it by removing the lint from the charging area. I thought I would need to leave the phone with Apple for repair, but Christian knew how to troubleshoot and was quick in helping out.
The Apple Staten Island amazed me with streamline services, courteous attitude and excellent expertise, all of which were epitomized by the senior technician Michael who helped my teenage daughter to fix her laptop during our recent visit. With his extraordinary expertise, Michael went beyond his duty to retrieve the lost files from my daughters laptop. Due to this experience, I am planning to become a consumer of Apple products as well, and I will be assured of the post-sale services.Ting Lei, PhD/EdD
The associate who was helping me was scatterbrained and not very helpful - he kept looking for someone else and seemed confused about my questions, even when I specified that I was looking to have a technical conversation about a MacBook trade in. When he answered questions, the answers were very general (I cant say exactly how much but itll definitely be better), and did not help me make a decision. He also promised to get someone else, but didnt.
The store, following in Apple tradition, is relatively nicely designed. They dont always tend to keep items in stock, being a fairly small Apple store in Staten Island, but overall have the Apple products youre looking for. The employees are friendly and offer help with whatever problems you come with.
I’m going on a rant because Apple is the worst company and more people need to be aware of how they scam you. Billy’s Apple Watch stopped working after only a little over a year. Long story short, Apple insisted he send it back without looking at it and just get a replacement watch, because he doesn’t have Apple care it would cost about $387 We went into the store yesterday thinking that maybe it was the battery. No one from the store even bothered to look at the watch and gave him the same answer. No option to replace the battery, just hand over $387 and get a new one. Well we found a place on Victory Blvd SI. that replaces batteries, took it there, within one minute the guy knew exactly what was wrong with it. Apparently one of the buttons on the side was stuck, causing the problem. The guy fixed it in a second for FREE, Billy gave him money to get lunch. Lesson learned, go somewhere else before you just hand over your money to Apple.
Worst service ever. Unless you are white or dressed well none of the employees see you, its the customers job to go and seek support especially at this store. Very disgraceful, so many employees just chit chatting and walking around and less customers get the support. that they need , no welcoming, no smiles Apple should seriously look in to this matter and give those employees all the training again and again until they treat people right with respect no-matter where they come from. Its 2021 people! Such a shame...
My iPhone XS Max Touch Screen stopped working… I went to see what’s wrong and the tech guy told me is time for a new screen or a new phone so I bought a new 12 Pro Max then next day my old XS Max started working 🙂 what a waste of time for a diagnostic who didn’t answer my question. Ohh and also my warranty just expired so this was the answer 🤣
I never know when I need see the manager, I should call the store to talk to the manager over the phone? the manager is living in the phone? You know the phone number what I called is not directly to talk to the real person it is till the machine, make no sense, I am in store, and my phone is repairing in store, and I need call to talk to manager over the phone?!!!
The Apple store in the mall you get great assistance on your Apple products sometimes the waiting can be long because the place is always packed because people got plenty of different questions you just got to have some patience to wait to find out whatever questions that you might need help with
Very unprofessional service, not knowing Genius Bar specialist, I waited almost one week appointment, that to come and hear that they don’t know what’s happen, they can’t keep information from MacBook but I can pay flex rate 450$ and may be they do something. I can bought new computer for this price and not anymore MacBook or something else from apple product, I need information on computer. I am very disappointed as company same customers service
Just picked this up, my first MacBook (Laptop) Apple has their own Processor now its called the M1 chip, before they were using Intels Processor.This is the first generation, there is a known saying that you dont buy the first generation of electronics becuause there might be bugs that has not been discovered yet hopefully they did enough testing to prevent thisThe price ran me $1,300 13 inch screen I didnt want the 16 inch. To add Apple Care that would cover it for three years is $275 theyre so expensive but it cost to get the best Ill add it next month I have 60 days after date of purchase to add it so Im good. The Customer Rep was very friendly and asked me if I had any questions but I didnt because I went to YouTube University before I made the purchase.
We came in because my sons phone was out of storage but we couldnt figure out why? A young man named Pierro helped us out and explained everything to us. He was so helpful and nice. Thank you Apple Store of Staten Island. Problem solved! Happy customer. I may be back to get that HomePod mini.
I’d give zero stars if I could. This review is during Covid Restrictions. They have a sign outside that you can scan to start a text conversation. If you have At&T for service don’t even bother. You can’t get through to them. Two security guards who are nice can’t help you. Saw two grandparents who got locked out his phone by his grandson, but he couldn’t make an appointment.After I left I continued to be harassed by Apple support even after asking them to stop texting me. Avoid this until you can go into the store. Again, would leave zero stars if I could.
It was very annoying waiting to pick up in this store. I reserved a time slot a day before yet I still had to wait 40 more minutes even though I came 10 minutes early so it was totally not express pickup. There was a total of 3 lines, one for express pickup, technical problems, postmates/delivery pickup. The express pickup was the longest but barely any people for postmates so my advice is just line up for the shorter line and when those security old fellas ask what youre here for, say youre for postmates/delivery because its way faster than the line for express. And when you go inside they dont check whether youre really for postmates.
This store can never fix anything or rather they WON’T fix it unless you’re willing to pay $300 for this or $700 for a new whatever. They always attribute small fixes to much larger problems and then tell you that you have to send it out for a new top case or a new motherboard. Inevitably, they always come to the conclusion that you have to buy something new. Do yourself a favor. Go to Hylan Computer Repair. The tech there can fix things as serious as water damage for like $150. Don’t bother with the 20 somethings at this store that barely have any real technical knowledge any way. Terrible store and terrible service.
Manager AJ was very rude and condescending when he greeted me he said what’s up usually people say hi how may I help you. I said excuse me are you talking to me he said yes we are all just regular people here. I felt completely humiliated and disrespected since his outside customer service area and a lot of people outside to hear his rude comments. I was there for a second time because of a previous incident that happened with poor customer service, they beg me to come back and even offered me a free case when I come back. But got treated the same way I went there the first time this would definitely be the last time I go to this location.
I went to the apple store to get the magsafe charger. First thing that took me back was i still had to wear a mask even though i had proof of being vaccinated. so after i waited in line .i asked if i could use the charger with my cube at home they said yes only to find out once i got home the truth is you have to buy a special cube for it to work. well shame on them for not knowing and most of all apple for not selling the complete charger in a set . (without the cube it was 129.00 before tax) save your money . ps .also wont work off my mac mini
This place is not as big as the other apple stores I have been too but their service was very quick and great. The apple store was clean and nicely organized as well. The workers are there for you to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I was having a problem with my Iphone X and I had two representatives quickly assist m e to help resolve this issue.It took about 15 minutes for them to have an appointment ready for me on the spot and took an hour to get my phone fixed where they had to fix the whole display. This place is quick in service and will be visiting again really soon for any other needs I may have.
Came in and was helped out by two absolutely sweet and helpful employees, Marcus and Brianna. Brianna went out of her way to make sure I not only dropped sprint asap, but helped me out with purchasing another phone and financing it the way I wanted to. She was extremely helpful and patient with my situation with sprint and shes the absolute best. Wonderful service.
The best place you can go to for anything Apple related. The workers are both knowledgeable and professional. Their sales experience are non-pushy and they help you make an informed decision with regard to the right purchase. That said, if you compare this Apple store to any in New Jersey, theres no comparison. They, in my opinion, are second to none.
I had to leave a review about my wonderful experience at this apple store. I came in today with my daughter to buy her an iPad. As I was waiting for someone to approach me a lovely gentleman by the name of Anthony asked if I needed help. I am so glad he came to help my daughter and I to purchase an iPad, stylist, and iPhone case. He had great energy a bright smile and just so willing to be helpful. He is certainly the perfect employee and should train others on perfect customer services because his service was perfection. My daughter and I had the best experience. Thank you Anthony!! 🙏🏼
If I can give them zero star, I will do. Worst Apple store in the world. My AirPods stopped working after couple of months and when I visited the store to replace it. They were very nice until I refused to buy apple care. OMG they transferred to very rud and they would like to change only the case although everything are not working. I asked to meet with the manager Stephen who was very very very rude and said this is only option change case only or buy apple care.Today, I gave the WTC store visit and I have no words to describe how are they professional. Everything finished less than 5 minutes and replaced all AirPods without any problems and they were laughing when I told them my experience with the Staten Island store because it doesnt make sense to change the case only although everything are not working.Apple management, please pay attention to this store, if you are care about your customer experience. I left the place with a horrible experience.
The employees at this store are great; professional and friendly all the time. This is about the only redeeming quality of this store. There are ALWAYS young kids and teens on the computers, and playing with all of the other devices. Its like a recreation center for tweens/teens. With that being said, if you are looking to try out any Apple devices, this is not the place to do it. If you need something repaired you always have to make an appointment with the genius bar and there is ALWAYS a wait, even with an appointment.
Its a great store! A lot of employees who will take care of you really fast, had an issue with headphones, which usually needs an appointment to get replacement, went to this store and they did change it in about 15 minutes or so, great employees really understandable people
I made an appointment a week in advance to have my iPhone battery replaced. I showed up half an hour early and was told I had to wait to be checked in. When I returned, I waited 15 minutes past my appointment time. Upon finally being helped, I had an employee run diagnostics to tell me I needed to replace my battery (insulting). He then told me that it was too late to replace the battery and Id have to leave my phone overnight or come back another day. This was a total waste of my time. I complained on twitter and got no reply. They really dont seem to care about their customers at all once they have their money.
I felt compelled to write a review after having such a horrible experience at this Apple store. Usually, I will say that Apples customer service is top notch. This experience was far from that. I guess my first mistake was telling the manager that I knew exactly what I wanted. To him, this must have translated to mean that I was going to be in and out. I purchased an iPhone 8, with cash, outright. The problem was that I hadnt even fully purchased the phone yet and the manager, Dan, was pulling the sales associate away from me to help someone else. He must have told her 2 times, while I was still going through the process to purchase my phone, that there was someone else waiting for her. How rude is that? Its like saying: hurry up. Please note that I observed these new customers walk in after me and there were other sales associates walking the floor. After I officially paid for the phone, I immediately noticed that the phone was not working at all (no service even after putting in the SIM card from my old phone). I had a couple of questions for the sales associate e.g. how do I restore service, how do I get my old files, some error message popped up, etc. But she said she had to go and that I should call my carrier! With that, she was gone. Excuse me, but I just purchased a $700 phone and I ended up leaving with a phone that did not work at all. Long story short, I had to go BACK to the Apple store because the carrier would not fix the phone because they said Apple had to do something on their end. The manager, Dan, sees me come back in and doesnt even approach to see if everything is ok. Honestly, this is my last iPhone. Overall, a truly horrible experience that cost me time and about 3 hours of my life.
Not very helpful and the staff acts as though they are doing you a favor. The few times I had been in to shop, there were clusters of staff just chatting. Don’t need to be spoken to in a condescending manner. I prefer the Manhattan or Brooklyn stores. The staff is not pretentious. It’s unfortunate to have these experiences since Apple is so about the customer experience. The store Manger should really take the time to work on the staff.
This review is written to advise others and show what some Apple workers may do. At the Apple Mall my father and I had went to pick up a online order. At the time I had chargers that were eligible for renewal and I asked at salesman if he could exchange them, he replied with a “No” due to the mall about to close. I had felt this was unfair because of the amount of people there and there was over half an hour left.. This had showed me that the employee could have been taking advantage of my age so he doesn’t need to do any work. I had just wanted to share this Incase this happens to you. Thank you.
I was a customer of Apple product for more than 10 years and I was pretty sure that Apple representative ”genius bar” they know what they’re doing in case if you have a problem with your Apple device. So in my case I had a problem with my iPhone 6s - I did not want to get rid of it and I was using it time to time. Approximately month and a half ago I wanted to use my iPhone 6s but I couldn’t turn it on. I tried everything it wasn’t working. I decided to go to Apple store in Staten Island Mall and one of the apple rep genies was checking it for like 10 min and he goes - your block system isn’t working and in order to fix it will cost me $249. I asked are you sure that it has nothing to do with my battery - he said 1000000%. Of course I didn’t agree to fix it ( who wants to pay $250 to fix iPhone 6s). So I left the store sad, but meanwhile I decided to order a battery and replace it myself-just to make that he’s right & I’m wrong.So finally I got my battery, I replaced it and what you think happened I got my phone back to life !!!!!Dear Apple it’s a big shame to have such a “genius” forking for you & I hope you will read my honest review. Its the only Apple Store on the island, so there really isnt much to complain. That being said, Itd be good to see it renovated, especially in light of the entire Staten Island Mall currently undergoing an expansion. As for the overall store, its always crowded, most during the weekends and towards the evening hours. Walk in and someone will always be free to assist you, within a few short minutes.
Horrible customer services!!! They need to hire someone who is willing to work!! All they do is hang around and talk to other employees!! Apple, for the prices of all your products....you need to hire people who knows how to care for your customers!!! I just can’t believe Apple wasted my four hours of precious time!!! Better off with Samsung!!!
My iPhone X began smoking from the charging port, brought the phone in, they kept it for a week and told me they cant find a reason it did that or damage from it but my case was melted and thats just fine with apple, people are nice, not sure where the problem lies but damn.
I went in the store to buy a couple Apple watches and was told that it was too late to be served tonight since they’d be closing in about 10 min. I responded by saying that I already designed what I wanted so it shouldn’t take long but was still denied service. Really?? Who does that to a customer? I guess apple is making too much money so they no longer give a sh*t about customer service. Guess what. I’m trashing my iPhone and buying an android. #Fapple
This store is a complete rip off. all they want to do is sell you another phone. i went there with my grand daughter she dropped her Iphon5S.Screen was cracked. First you need an appointment, so we made one for the same day. Waited around the Mall for 2 hours then went back for our appointment. Needless to say that we had to wait around for another hour plus. The Tech came over and ask what the problem was we told him. he said he had to see that the phone powered up. he came back and said the phone was unable to power up that we needed to purchase a new phone for $400.00. we left and i surfed the web and found an independent who powered up the device fix the screen for under $100.00. Be careful they work on commission. Apple as a whole is less then 1 STAR.
Horrible customer service. Gave me a cracked, not functioning iPhone 6 loaner phone in replacement of my iPhone X that had to be sent out for a warranty repair. Waited over 3 hours to be seen. I am leaving for vacation out of the country at 8 am and explained this to them and they did not care. The manager suggested I buy a brand new phone and return it when I get back. ??? Who suggests something like this??? My phone was not broken due to my damaging it, it was an internal Apple issue.Do not go to this store, I should have known better as I have had problems with them in the past (they broke my MacBook and gave it back to me in three pieces and told me to buy a new one)If I can give 0 stars I would.
I came in to the store and I already purchase 2 iPhones, and all I needed was to get help to set the phones up but not on my phone because I have multiple setups of other devices on mine. So I’m waiting and I see people coming in being help and I’m still waiting, just observing and they told me where to wait and it wouldn’t be long, that was a lie..worst service from apple.
Friendly and knowledgeable and the epitome of what Apple represents. The wait time is normal (20+ mins on a moderately busy day), its the only Apple store for miles so that is expected. It does get hot in there when crowded because of all of the electronics. I appreciate that they have the appointment system so at least youre not just waiting around for no reason. Even if you just walk in they will greet you and help you get an appointment set up if you need. Sometimes it does get too busy that you cant find someone to help you but if you saw the crowd youd understand. The only complaint is that the actual store is physically too small.
All Apple stores suck. You walk in and instead of Asking if you need help They tell you you need to make an appointment. Then you get to stand around for 15 minutes Waiting for your appointment. This reeks of snobbery to me. You get to pay too much for their products just to deal with this crap when it breaks! And people fall for this! The products are underpowered, over simplified, overpriced, techie boutique garbage and the stores are worse. Wake up people Apple sucks! At any other tech store employees will bend over until their ears touch their ankles, spread their cheeks and smile to get your business. Why deal with Apple snobs?
The service is horrible, They have You waiting for at least 40 mins, and the way the employees were staring at Us made Me feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable 😡. I thought coming into the store to get 2 iPods would be much easier than ordering them online but, what a bad decision! this store is a joke.
There hasnt been one time I wasnt taken care of on time and with exceptional service. Thank you Apple Staff at Staten Island store..you are a great example of great customer service and coming from me thats huge! Very unprofessional, staff needs training on how to speak with customers and understand stand whats going on first before they speak. when you ask for a manager the person will bring you a young kid that has no knowledge about what is going and half of the time the supervisor is not paying attention to you. i wasted TWO hours yesterday and nothing get done. after leaving the store i switched 22 lines from my company to Samsung and traded our i phones. no respect for paying customers and the TECH person is programmed like a robot just looking at his tablet and talking and when you prove him wrong he answers back and gives you P.S. what i saw yesterday was really sad and unpleasant. shame on the management team for allowing whats going on the sales floor.
I was told I could pick up my phone in 2-3 hours. It had a broken screen. I went there after about 6 hours and waited for about 25 mins and then was told that its not ready yet and told me to come back next day since it was closing time. I went back next day and had to wait another 30 mins before I got my phone back. Very unprofessional service at this location. The repair was done correctly and not having any issues. The service need to be improved. For service they get 0 star. For repair they get 5 stars.
Waiting time is ridiculous.I received a text message twice about my appointment . 1) We were able to move your session. Youll get a message to return between 6:25 and 6:45. 2) Sorry, we had to move your spot. Youll get a message to return between 7:05 and 7:25.. Advisers just walking around Never buy IPhones again. Go back to Android.
My experience here at Apple Staten Island was the best experience I could have from any high-end store. Im a newly turned 18 year old kid who saw the buy a Macbook and get beats free deal going on and went in to buy a Macbook. I desperately needed a working computer since I was starting college and had no access to one. Anyways, I walked in and normally most stores will leave you to find an employee to help, but NO! I was immediately greeted and asked for my name, I was told to wait approximately 5 minutes. I waited and was strolling around, he mustve radioed someone my name because an employee called to me within those 5 minutes and helped me buy a Macbook Air and get cool free rose-gold beats within minutes! I asked about a covering to protect my Macbook Air and he was straight up honest and said to order one from Amazon. Most companies would lure you right away to purchase overly expensive stuff, but no! This guy was honest. He even gave me insight of the free coding classes and presentations help they give here that require nothing more but a walk-in to participate in. I loved my experience here and despite the negative comments, one should definitely appreciate the professionalism of Apple. I forgot the dudes name but if you see this, youre a champ! I was the Nursing Major BTW.
I took my 2011 macbook pro in for service and I was told my video card was bad. I asked them if that can be repaired and they told me yes but my particular model had a recall and the recall was over so they dont have that part anymore and I should buy a new one. I went to a computer repair shop and they fixed my laptop for $200. Apple wanted me to spend $2200 on a new laptop. Will never go into another apple store again!
Took my 2017 MacBook in for a screen issue . Technician told me it wasn’t covered . He told me I would have to pay $580 . Computer has AppleCare . I asked to speak to a manager , he didn’t move . He continued to type. .then he said “you’re right it is covered . African Americans beware . Lots of racist people working at this store . I have problems every time is go to this store . Security follows you around if you fit a certain look . And they will charge you for something that’s covered under warranty. Go to soho and grand central store
Walked in the store at 1030am Tuesday the 29th and the store wasn’t crowded at all. I clearly looked like a customer that needed help and nobody came over to me. I even leaned against the against table staring at a group of workers, before I finally had to walk over to a guy. He wasn’t helpful at all
Worst apple store hands down. I come in there asking question and all the employees tell me to go on the website. They are working there for a reason and I took time off my day to go in there and have my questions answered. I don’t know how these people get hired. They’re just standing there without helping people. They don’t even look like they want to be there. This is the standards that a big company like Apple has. Even the greeter didn’t want to answer my questions and told me to use the ipads in the store to google my own question. This is pathetic. Who ever the manger in this store is needs to teach these employees how to work. You are an employee to answer my questions specially for a company like apple. I’m truly disgusted after spending my hard earned money on apple products to be treated like this by an apple employee. Absolutely disgusting. Sadly I have to go back often.
They called my phone about 4 times using a robo-caller. Why? I have never been there and have not brought any computers or phones or tablets from them. So why are they calling me? I am the Do Not Call list. Pay attention, Apple. This is one customer, youll never get.Found out that those scammers are trying to ruin businesses by spoofing phone numbers of known establishments. Wish they would do something other than post that stupid automated voice.
I went in here with a friend who was purchasing new phones and was surprised that it was such a mad house. I thought the tons of people playing with the products were there waiting for service but turns out, its a huge hangout for people on a Saturday night.Regardless, the service was quick and friendly, which pains me to say since Im a huge Android fan.
My daughters cell phone cracked. Seems like a simple fix. I had to log out and log in multiple times with a password which I did. And yet they still sent me to get proof of purchase at AT& T which again I did. Then I should my drivers license with my last name matching my husbands last name. That wasnt enough. Apparently despite simply wanting a screen replaced for a two generation old SE and having about 10 different Apple products, they refused to replace the screen because they think I stole the phone. Time to move on from Apple.

The guy at the genius bar Elvis, he is THE Presley of the apple store!He is amazing! He was so helpful! He answered all the questions I had regarding the issues withbmy computer.Nobody could help me for a while now.He is young bright talented fellow!This guy just saved me so much money! And he has helped me with all my computer issues!Thumbs up!
Called Apple Store Staten Island mall was left on hold for over one hour so I end up driving there while Im still on hold. My phone hasnt been charging I tell the guy who works there and Im still on hold for over an hour he cared less giving attitude like yea it dust inside the charger slot he grabs my phone cleans it and here problem solved and my phone still not charging , I request to speak to a manager to see what he can do for me,no appointment no help he puts me with his manager I try to explain he cuts me off telling right now I cant help you with anything and looks the other way. Super rude and unproficinal only if Apple corporate would know about her managers who make ther business look bad. Wil never go there and Im switching to android. Rip off bad management
I love Apple, not in a fanatical way but...we can say I am a supporter (have been since forever). However my largest turn off about this store in particular is the smell. This shop always, without fail, smells like feet and bad breath. I can account this to the swarms of pre-teens and teens in the store checking facebook and testing the durability of the products. Face it, mall rats smell, they dont shower and eating while doing everything is just a fact. You always know where they have been, by the grease smudges and sticky finger prints. In short...If you need to pop in to buy and then leave..go for it.If you plan to see the newest Apple has to offer, go on the web site.
I arrived at the apple store with a few problems, my apple earbuds that came with my phone stopped working all of a sudden, and my iPhone has been having some battery troubles, and off the bat when i entered the store, i was told it would be an hour and a half wait time, Which in retrospect was my fault, i hadnt filed an appointment and came at a busy time, what i didnt expect was to be bounced around by the employees for the next 3 hours. Time after time i was told it would be a little longer and it has turned into such an ordeal, If possible, i would rather just sell my phone and buy a new one every time i had a problem since the apple employees seem to just help anyone purchasing a new product and tell everyone that has a problem to wait an extra 30 min. I called my boss and told him that id be late but i just received a call from him telling me not even to bother coming in today since its been 3 hours. 0/10 would come back.
Just got a change of phone (note that I do not call this an upgrade) after owning a Samsung for 3 years which performed flawlessly. The screen cracked on the new 4S after sliding the phone in my pocket on the third day which either hit my chapstick or was compressed between it as I moved. The manager Christine basically said that that is impossible and indirectly accused me of lying. Poor attitude overall with support. So now they said that I either pay $199 for a new phone or live with it for the next two years. Unfortunately I can never prove my case and Apple holds all the cards. The phone is terrible for forming group texts unless you set it up through an App or your computer. The screen is way to fragile despite their claims that it takes a large blow to crack it. I am a large share holder but am very disappointed with their customer service. I guess when everyone is buying your product, and your stock is rising you dont need to be so supportive .

This store has the worst customer service. They are uninterested, unhelpful and occasionally downright rude. Cant understand why someone at the corporate level doesnt come in and shake them up. I have complained directly- with no response by the way - but nothing seems to improve. This is a company that supposedly prides itself on good customer service! Not in this store!!
This is my fourth time trying to get my battery replaced. All times they agreed that the battery needs to be replaced but every single time they have a different excuse as to why they can’t do it, spoke with a manager, the best I can say that he stoped talking once he realized how upset I was
I upgrade my iphone 6s to ios 11 yesterday.upgrade completed and touch screen stopped working.tried to restore but nothing worked,i went Staten island apple store tonight ,and explained the issue.they requested $149 for changed the screen if i do not have warranty.i spoke the manager (a women about 50 years old )she was rough and told me they will not do anything free .she acting like street vendor in china.i ques this this is apples new business style rob customer like this .i wish not upgrade to ios 11 now i have a junk iphone 6s and apple does not take care the problem.
Mananger Joe Abel very rude and was not helpful.. i have been sitting at this bs store for 2 hours on the phone with apple care they telling me one thing and the store itself telling me different!! They need to get on the same page and help customers who actually pay for the warranty instead of bullshitting with each other!Giving Joe Abel one star is far to much credit for his position here!
F....... CHAOS!Everyone (shabby looking guys with apple logos on their worned out shirts) is floating suspended in their apple universe. No-one knows what the F.... is going on. When confronted, they pretend to be busy assisting the magical - invisible customer. No sense of order or hierarchy is overwhelming. You have to beg them to take your money for their reduculously overpriced stuff. I hate this place!
No respect for ladys that are pregnant and bad service all the way around and only taking one person at a time when theres a whole line waiting they dont take two at a time and they are just walking around and talking among them selfs thats not right and they only have a very few works here
Horrible costumer service. Very unprofessional and lack of knowledge. Dont even bother to call them via telephone because they will certainly give you the wrong information. Salespeople are a joke. Make the trip to Manhattan if you dont want to deal with puerile personnel.
Very bad customer service , I met an agent who is thinking himself genus , he talk to us ( me and my wife ) like someone force him to do this job , finally he did not explain the charges to account, next day we figure out the calculations online through the bank statements !!!!

I would have given it 0 stars if I could. After being on hold for 25 minutes on the phone waiting to make an appointment they switched me to listen to the ringing of the phone for another 5 minutes. After wasting half an hour on the phone waiting to make an appointment I went online to try and make an appointment and they were all booked. This treatment of a potential customer is unacceptable.

2022-01-14Very clean store and very helpful staff. They take the time to listen and try to give the best solution. I usually do store pickup and they are very quick in getting your stuff ready. They have a great selection of devices and accessories. As for the Genius Bar, I recently had an issue with my Mac and they were helpful. They ran a lot of diagnostics and were able to fix it. I’d say the service make its worth it and like many Apple stores, they are an experience. They are different from a normal big box store that sells electronics.

2021-10-20I bought the student package program, that offers a free airpod and a discount when a mac pro is bought. I originally bought this on Atlantic Avenue Apple Store, but then I decided to change the mac 8 GB memory to the 16 GB, when I went to the apple store to exchange, I was told that I needed to make an appointment, I called apple customer service and they sent me all the way to Staten Island, when I got there I was told that what they told me at the Atlantic Avenue Apple Store was not true, that all I needed is to walk in and ask to return a product or exchange. At apple Staten Island they were so attentive and nice, I went there on september 27, the last day to take advantage on the offer, so they did everything possible to get me a refund on a gift card and order a new custom made mac pro, and still applied the offer. I am so grateful to them, the are the best!

2022-02-28The store is packed during the weekend. I had a problem with my phone port not getting charge and the indicator not showing. The young guy cleaned the port with their cleaning clothes and took all the dirt out and all worked fine. So make sure clean your port often 👍

2022-04-25Young lady name Dina helped me yesterday which was Sunday, April 24. She had patients always had a smile on her face she made me very comfortable. She helped me through the problem with my iPad and tell me what I could do in the future. I told her I would think about it and a possibility I will trade in my old iPad for a new one. She knew exactly what was going on she walked me through everything. She was such a nice young lady. And the other two young men that helped me to direct me was also very sweet with a nice smile. What a crowd that they always have we need to have a smile lol. And I did go to one of the managers and told them about Dina everyone was so wonderful. I did not have to wait long either.

2022-04-10As usual over priced in the name of privacy. The staff very not so helpful. They were standing and chating with one another but still forced to wait for them. They were standing right in front of us and even though we were telling them that we know what we want and have to leave, we were forced to wait for them to finish up their chatting. Im not saying chatting with customers, between themselves.

2022-04-20Apple repair service is a joke. There is no repair, only replace. Ive been there twice to fix two separate issues and their solution was only for me to buy a new iPad/iphone or buy a refund version of what I had. What a waste and what a joke. One issue of a bad lightning port was fixed by Rossman Repair Group for only $65 whuere as the Apple store wanted me to pay $300 to replace it.Ill give it one star because its clean and it has great employees who understood how I felt about their repair practices but couldnt do anything about it.

2022-03-31I came into this store today because I was having issues with my phone being stuck on a black screen with the spinning wheel icon. Hagi and Arancha ( I’m sorry if I spelt that completely wrong) helped me. Arancha was training but she was so helpful. I actually had a breakdown because I was told that I may need to completely restore my phone and I’d lose all the data. I recently lost my grandpa and have many messages and voicemails of him that I did not want to lose. After crying in front of them they were so comforting and I could tell they really were trying everything they could to help me out. They were so patient with me and explained everything to me, including all my possible options. Unfortunately I couldn’t resolve the issue in store but they let me know of some options I can try at home. After getting home I was able to fix the problem thanks to their advice. I’m so thankful I won’t lose any of my memories saved on my phone. I’m so grateful for Hagi and Aranchas help and for them being so considerate during my emotional moment in the store!
