Dont bother calling...youll get someone in support who is god knows where...I called trying to find out if the store accepted cash for a purchase (an internet search was unhelpful.) The robot eventually connected me to someone that could help me. She was a very pleasant, but not real helpful. I explained that i was interested in marking an in store purchase and i was wanting to know if they would accept cash. Her answer was, yes, i believe this location will acceot cash. I then asked if she was at this location, to which she replied, no, she was part of the sales support team. I then told her that i would like a definate answer before i drove 50 miles one way to make the purchase and i wasnt able to because they didnt take cash. She then asked me to hang on and she would check with the store. She came back after a minute with the answer, no, they do not accept cash for purchases at this store, only credit cards, apple card, apple pay, etc. I guess it was a good thing i did not believe her first belief that they would or i would have driven 100 miles round trip for nothing.Sorry Apple but this was a fail, first experience with the Apple Store and your customer service let me down, youre an American Company that doesnt accept American currency from an American citizen...
Do not use their courier delivery service. I have used the service successfully for delivery of a MacBook Pro and a couple of phone cases over the last several months, but today I had two separate instances of deliveries not being successfully completed. The first courier never even came to my house before returning the item to the store because they got lost (I live in an area thats very easy to find, even without GPS). The second individual came to my doorstep, item in hand, and would not drop it off on my porch without me coming outside to sign for it. I tried explaining that I was quarantining at the moment and could not have person-to-person interaction and that I have had no issues with the courier delivering the items previously without direct contact, and the courier rudely kept cutting me off and threatening to leave. They ultimately stormed off while yelling about returning the item to the store. This is the third issue Ive had while purchasing direct from Apple within the last year. I HIGHLY recommend you use a third party if youre buying an Apple product, like Best Buy or another electronics retailer. Apples retail customer service level is simply not what it used to be.
I love the service, and communication. In this Apple Store Ms. Ana was helping me a lot and also check my iPhone 12 mini to test function and only the face id failed. I didn’t even know that the face id had a problem. So she helped me and replaced it with a new one. I recommend everyone to come here because the service is professional
Coming to the Apple store is the closest thing to being in a ant farm. So many people actively keeping busy checking out new phones, tablets and other gadgets. In the rear of the store, a class is going on teaching people how to use their devices. As busy as it looks, they have so many helpful and knowledgeable employees ready to assist. For a person like myself, that avoids going to the store and rather do things online. I have no problem coming here, and taking care of my business.
Have to say, one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I don’t have an Apple store in a city where I live so had to travel an hour and 15 minutes to the store due to a phone malfunctioning which was under factory warranty. Mark was outstanding, as was Tyrell and the store manager Bri. It was a very refreshing experience and I highly recommend the store to everyone!!
Was treated great a couple weeks ago after having to wait a bit. Went in yesterday and after a couple questions and telling him I couldn’t do a call with apple support cuz my phone was trashed and wasn’t getting new one til Monday he said cuz I didn’t have an appointment he had to go attend to those who did cuz now it was by appointment only and he wasn’t my personal technician and just walked away. Rude as hell and site didn’t say needed an appointment so how would I have known. I will not come back to your store.
The Apple store in the Walden Galleria mall has the absolute worst customer service team of any business I have ever dealt with. The associate told me, we accept walk ins without appointments, but not today. This is after apple customer support told me on the phone to drive the hour to the store and my issue could be resolved. This was my 3rd visit to this Apple store with the exact same level of customer service each time. Absolutely horrible. No consideration to the fact that my family has spent thousands of dollars on their garbage products or that we drove over an hour to solve a problem on a product that they warranty. I will never spend another penny of my money on an Apple product. I would chisel a message in stone and wait for the pony express to deliver it before ever setting foot in that Apple store again.
Thank you to the wonderful staff there!!! My daughter had a medical issue and they jumped right into action... Mark ran and bought her a bottle of water with his own money!!! Greg stood guard to keep her safe while she was down and out on the floor. Other staff also stood guarding her for privacy. They all made sure she was alright. As a mother this warmed my heart to see such kindness bestowed upon her. They went above and beyond... Thank you all!!!
Went here in the late afternoon looking for a replacement charger for my iPhone. Walk in and no clue where to go. No signs, no one to greet you. There was an employee taking appointments. I ask two employees that were just standing around for 10 minutes where to find a phone charger. Instead of telling me where the chargers are they tell me they’re discussing about how to help a customer. Finally the security guard points me to the pickup counter. I tell the guy there that I need a charger for my iPhone and he goes and grabs me a charger. After I purchase it I get home to find out it’s for a laptop…so now I have to go back and return it. Thanks a lot Apple.
I got a brand new 13 pro. It hasn’t worked correctly since the day I received it. Apple support tells me to go to the store to replace it. Matt the team lead was the most condescending unhelpful employee I have ever dealt with. I have probably already spoke with 10 and every other person is amazing. Helpful and friendly. Matt is the one bad apple in the bunch and will cause the loss of customers with his attitude.
Great store almost always crowded since there are not a lot of apple stores in the area.Always make sure to take appointment online to avoid queue and save time.great service the associates are very friendly and helpful.Although you end up waiting you wont get bored as you can explore other apple products.
My Iphone wasnt always charging because the charging port was weird. I thought I cleaned it out really well, but still had charging problems. I made an appointment and took my phone to Apple.Sam helped me. Sam was really pleasant and professional and thought my port still had some gunk in it. It was taken to the back room and cleaned out. When it came back, we tried my charging cable, and it was much better. And NO CHARGE for the cleaning. Thanks for the Great service Sam!!
I HATE apple. I will never buy Apple again nor suggest anyone look for help at this store. IM SURE most staff is fine but the one I got knew nothing kept saying um kept switching what was going to happen and ended up not getting any help and left with the broken phone I walked in with
I can not even explain how pleased I was! The employees worked quickly and efficiently to keep the line moving. The young man that helped us was very knowledgeable and patient. I was in for a new hard drive install and it was done in less than a week! The cost was cheaper than the local repair quoted me. Very very pleased! It will be my go to place when I purchase a new computer for sure!
So I went in day after thanksgiving , never been in before didn’t know the process , walked to back of store and met a wonderful employee named Dave , I asked him a question about my phone , he said well we could make an appt , I said I don’t live here , he said well let’s see , it’s the season of giving so he ran diagnostics on my phone , and then checked the warranty , it was going to expired THAT day 😳, he missed his break , and ended up literally giving me an entire new phone and saving me 600$ if I would of waited 1 more day it would have expired and I would have paid money I didn’t have . He was kind, funny, and helping 2-3 other people , a real multi tasker, he never complained , he just worked away helping customers with their problems . I can’t thank you enough Dave for all your patience with me and my phone and all my 40000 photos !!! Your the best, and you deserve a raise !!!! Thank you and happy holidays ! I hope you got a piece of pizza 🍕!!!! Julie from Batavia !!!
Always a long line to get in, Apple products break far too easily and are way overpriced when compared with other comparable companies. Their tech is behind too, claiming new ideas that Samsung had 2-3 years ago on their phones. Ive had enough of Apple in my life, no more shopping here.
I started my appointment a little irritated because I had been trying to entertain my four-year-old in line for 30 minutes (even with an appointment). The person assigned to help me was too busy chatting with his buddy, so I waited in line longer while my four-year-old lost her patience. By the time we finally got called by Josh (not positive but I think that was his name), he was instantly rude. He didn’t explain to me any of the markers that I was supposed to stand on, and I accidentally immediately was standing too close to him (unintentionally). The way he told me to step back on the marker was incredibly hostile. I hadn’t been more than a foot off it. I wouldn’t have been off it at all had he simply taken a second to give me directions from the start. I tried to grit and bear his lack of politeness (because I know it’s a pandemic and everyone is a little stressed) but man this guy was not trying at all. I was trying to be a good customer. I made sure my mask was covering my face properly, I had sanitized my hands twice and was trying to social distance. I honestly just did not see the marker or know I was supposed to stand on it. From right out of the gate this guy was so rude. He just wanted to finish the transaction and get on with the day. I asked him if I could get help setting up my daughters phone before I left the store and he basically said no. Furthermore, he didn’t offer to help find any accessories or a case to go with the phone. He was just trying to ring me out and get rid of me. He implied that there was a time limit and they had to get onto the next customer, but there were customers that had been in there for far longer than I had looking at products. I was being treated very badly and I’m still not really sure why. I think part of the issue is that my four-year-old is on the spectrum and was being her usual self- (she verbally stims). I was trying to keep her still and quiet, even physically holding onto her/ picking her up. He made no effort to be polite to her or even acknowledge that she was there. It was either blatant intolerance for children or children with special needs, I can’t tell which one with this guy, but it was definitely beyond unpleasant. I don’t understand why this young man is in customer service. It was a really uncomfortable experience. I won’t be back.
Utterly worthless. After well over an hour drive (one way) and arriving at the mall only to discover the usual parking lot was closed (costing more time), we rush inside for the scheduled appointment only to be told it was canceled less than SIX MINUTES after the fact. There was no line and some employees were inside standing around, so it’s not like they were excessively busy. The last time I was at this store I had to wait over two hours for basic assistance, so clearly their deep concern about time only goes one way. This store is nothing but a black eye upon Apple’s reputation. Avoid at all costs.
Just bought an iPhone the other day. This store is a nightmare. The salesman knew the product but did not know the procedures at all. The salesman told me I would get a trade on my old iPhone and a military discount. He would not let me give them my trade in and did not know how the military discount was to be made. He said they would send me a trade in kit which did not happen, He said the military discount would be taken off of my charge, that also did not happen. I asked if he would help me transfer the information from my old phone to my new phone. The answer was you have to do it. They wont help you according to him. This purchase was a nightmare and the personnel at this store have lousy training. My next phone will be a Samsung which I will buy at Verizon as they are very nice and very helpful. It seems Apple does not care about their customers. Its all about get the money and screw you after that.
This is not a one star review this is a negative star review for apple as a company and specifically this store. After only 2 and a half years of owning a phone and may I mention I never dropped it on land or in water and they told me on the phone before the session that if it was not my fault they would cover it. Then after they examine the phone they tell me it would be $250 to get a new phone of the same model or more to upgrade and that this one was busted. I sell the phone for someone who repairs phones and needs parts and he fixes it in less than 24 hours. Now Apple is giving me the runaround saying they need to phone to continue on in the process while I wouldnt have known the truth because there employee told me it was broken. So I leave and use a temporary trac phone I had lying around and its not good but manageable. I sell the old phone to someone who will use it for parts on another phone of the same model with a broken screen and they are telling me they fixed it but Apple said it couldnt be fixed. I hope they go bankrupt because there product suck!!!!!!! With out a doubt I am going to get an android phone now cause even if they do not last longer they are not as expensive as this piece of junk from a piece of junk company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!!!!!!! AND IF THE MANAGER READS THIS PLEASE CONTACT ME AND HELP ME WHICH I KNOW THEY WONT AT APPLE CAUSE THEY DO NOT CARE ONE BIT ABOUT THE PEOPLE. THEY HAVE ENOUGH MONEY. THEY SHOULD JUST SHUT DOWN NOW!!!!
My Time there was good. Though it was busy. It wasnt chaos. The employees were very attentive. Making sure everyone was spoken to. Which was nice. I had to get my work phone fixed. Which was easy. The gentleman was very friendly, and actually worked with myself and another lady at the same time. A pretty good experience. I was in and out in about 45 minutes.
Its usually pretty busy and it can be difficult to get the help you need sometimes with the amount of customers they service. However when you do get someone to help you they have great customer service and can resolve issues that day or can schedule a follow up appointment and get it handled.
They kept my phone that they said they could fix came back at the time told to be told the screws were stripped and they couldn’t get it open hmmmm just maybe there technicians stripped it why wouldn’t they tell us when we showed them the phone so we proceeded to a phone kiosk in the mall they fixed it. Nice work apple
We had a terrible experience today at apple store in buffalo. They said its appointment only store and there were only 2 people in line and there were more than 7 employees hanging in free and talking with each other rather than with any customers. They did not let us in coz of that excuse of appointment. Their attitude was clearly showing that they were not happy to work at all. If you have that kind of employees, why do u even bother opening a location in that city? Terrible experience, will not visit this location. I hope there should be less than one star to give that location.
After waiting for more than 2 hours I was told Apple Card monthly installments are accepted only online orders not for in store purchases. Really how come it was not published in your website or anywhere. And then you book it online and then asked me to wait for another 3 hours to pick up the phone which was already reserved for me as part of instore reservation.Ridiculous
Arrived about 10 min early for an appointment to have my daughters 3 month old laptop repaired. Was taken care of promptly, an employee diagnosed the problem, sent it out for repairs and it was delivered to our home 4 days later! Excellent service! Thank you! ( And no cost since it was under warranty!)
A very cool experience, the Apple Store. Yes , its always completely packed, but the way the store is setup this has never been an issue. Its layed out logically and so that you have room to breath. The employees are always very kind and have all of the answers to my questions. They never approach you first and they dont bombard you when you walk in. If theyve answered your questions and youre finished with their help, they do not continue to hover or pressure you into a sale.
The store manager wouldn’t accept an exchange (within 3 days of purchase) without the original box, even though I have done that before. Customer service refunded it without a problem by mail, and told me that exchanges should be accepted at the store, even without the box, but it’s ultimately at the store’ discretion. For the dozens of Apple products I own and subscribe to, I expect better service. Not accepting upsell exchanges is simply bad practice.
Jason and Tom were great. I assume Jason was the manager and he was very attentive and helpful. Tom did a great job on replacing my phone battery. Ive never been to the Apple store before and didnt realize how busy it is but the staff there were friendly and welcoming.
I was In the store today and overheard a conversation between a customer and the store manager. The customer was upset because the manager was claiming that her phone had water damage and thus her warranty was void. She was upset explaining the situation to him and how she had travelled from Canada to try to fix the issue and waited for 6.5 hours. She was in tears. The manager, (who I since discovered is named Patrick) made the most incredibly rude, power-hungry comments during the conversation- including one that led me to write this review... in response to asking if there was anything more he could do for her: he said “there is a lot that I have the power to do, but I am not going to do it.” And scowled at her. And then dismissed her. After she left the store, I advised her to call Apple support since I had Witnessed the whole ordeal and thought he was extremely condescending and had embarrassed her. My daughter and I are happy to be a witness. It’s particularly upsetting since the whole water damage issue had just happened to my daughter’s iPhone 8 (water damage) and the same store had replaced the phone as an appreciation of our loyalty. While I did put up a stink- the inconsistent treatment I witnessed today, especially leaving a customer in tears is one I’m hoping more people find out about.Save your time- Avoid the store.
I’ve been to this Apple store on 2 different occasions. For the first one, I got my phone and some AirPods. The workers there were really helpful and kind. They helped me set up my new phone and get everything in shape with no problems at all, of course the stuff is expensive, but that is apples fault and not the store’s. Only one criticism is that the workers sometimes make me feel like I’m stupid and don’t know anything about the technology. But I do know a lot of things they “explain” to me are just stuff that are just basic things that I already know. For the second visit, 8 month later I got an Apple Watch 4 and AirPods 2 as well as a screen repair. With the watch and AirPods my salesperson was nice (even though she talked to me like I was stupid and knew nothing about the product.) but for the repair, it went well and they repaired it correctly and I got a screen protector on it, it did take a very long time. It was kind of shocking because it is a simple task to take off a screen and put on a new one, (takes 3-10 minutes) but at least it was done well.Overall, I would recommend this Apple store for anyone who needs assistance with their Apple products. If you know what your doing like me, just buy it on amazon, it’s much cheaper
I went in on a Friday afternoon for a genius bar appointment to have my mac book charger looked at because it wasnt charging. I didnt have to wait long before a tech was able to help me. I think her name was Emily. Emily was very nice and professional and was able to determine my charger was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. She put an order in for a replacement and it came the following Monday.Today is Monday and so I went into the store to pick up my replacement charger. I was assisted by Rachel whom had great energy! She made sure the replacement charger actually worked and charged my laptop before I left the store. Additionally, my girlfriends headphone jack on her iPhone was clogged with cotton and she could no longer fit her headphones in. She had asked Rachel for some tips on how to clean it out but Rachel went above and beyond and took the time to clean out the headphone jack her self! She literally did it so fast that when we thought she was coming with the tools to do so she was actually already done! All in all it was a great experience today at the Apple store. I forgot to mention the greeter who greeted me to day and on Friday. I dont know her name but she was great too and remembered me from Friday. Its really nice to be remembered!
Every time I’ve been to this store whether to purchase or receive Mac repairs, these people have been so snotty and rude to their customers. They have maybe two “geniuses” for repairs at any time, even with an appointment. If you need repairs, I would go to Best Buy instead, the employees are so much nicer.
Genius bar appointment apparently required to replace defective out of box apple watch. Missed the 10 minute appointment window, and was told at least 45 mins. (Dumped into the walk in queue)I was asked if I had called to let the store know I was going to be late. I had indeed... But every time I called I was routed through a corporate support queue and was never permitted to speak directly to the store. This comes after ~4 hours of my own time troubleshooting with remote support for them to confirm the device was defective and send me into the store. What was the point of that if a technician needs to look at it anyways when it comes in the store?
Despite not liking their business practices and constantly decreasing hardware quality, Apple is one of the best as far as customer service. Quickly in and out with my problem devices, and all the employees were extremely friendly. A model of customer service in a world of out-sourced IT support.
I don’t normally review anything but this is one of few. It was the worst best experience I’ve had there. Was waiting for over an hour to be seen. Then finally someone came over and turns out my appt was apparently canceled even when I checked in. Told me my phone had to be kept over night to fix and the manager comes over and said he can do my repair within 15 or 20 minutes which originally would have cost 170 but when they returned with it, they did my repair for free! Thanks
The store is confusing as hell. You cant tell who works there. And after standing there being ignored for some time, I finally figure out who the employees are. So I ask one standing there doing nothing how do I pay for my items and he got rude with me and told me to stand against the wall and that they were all busy and walked away from me. Didnt even have the decency to make eye contact. Then the girl who checked me out was just as rude. I only went there because an employee needed a new Mac mouse and keyboard. Never again. This is just one more reason I will never own anything made by Apple. Over priced junk and we have had nothing but problems with the MacBooks. Long live Windows and Android!
Love Apple product. Unfortunately the in store experience lacked the quality the product has. Was passed around between a few associates until someone who identified themselves as “not a sales associate” helped me. Not really understanding or addressing my concern, which was really not a complicated concern. Just failed to really listen. Left unsatisfied.
It was the worst and I cant even begin to tell you why. First thing first, I proudly wear my Patriots gear everywhere and I know the hate I tend to constantly receive because of it but I had an apple employee call me stupid only for asking how long will it take for them to assist me and I asked him why and he said it was because I was a Patriots fan and for that he would make me wait double the time and then after waiting for almost two hours, I finally was able to have my issue resolved but of course after being told I was lucky to get the help in a rudely way by a other apple employee. The point is I was treated poorly only because Im a Patriots fan and I cannot believe all over the fact that Im a Patriots fan, this would be acceptable if it was some small store but Apple?!!!!! Seriously is this how you treat a loyal apple customer???
I stopped in the store in early July just to price out the new iPhone6S as I am the last in my family to own one. My service was SO GOOD that I ended up buying the phone at that stop. I had great customer service! The person taking care of me did not know everything but was not hesitant to find another person who did.
Pure genius to have you go to a store for warranty work. Forcing you to wait to buy something because all the geniuses are helping people who bought an Apple product. Why? Because, apparently Apple products are too difficult to get started on your own? Why bother with Apple products if this is true? I personally find my time more important than being forced to wait to buy something Apple again.
Not sure what a lot of people on here are talking about, as I had a great experience - very helpful genius bar, and super quick, even when there are lots of people in the store. No hesitation to go above and beyond the call of duty. The employees seem genuinely happy to work there, which is a big plus for customers. The genius helping me out was really funny, too. Thumbs up, Apple - this is why I shell out big bucks for your products.
Whenever I go there it is overly crowded which is understandable. I own the latest Apple products but when I go there and try to find someone to help me I feel like I’m an Android user and I don’t deserve the help. I went there twice today and I couldn’t get anyone to help me.. it is like once they see you walking towards them, they turn around and walk away. Except there is a tall and skinny African American gentleman who is always very helpful but unfortunately he was so busy with other customers today so I didn’t get a chance to talk to him. He is the only one always tries to help (at least to me).
Went in today to get my iPhone fixed and waited over an hour for no one to help me at all. I tried to ask an employee about my appointment and was ignored and she rolled her eyes at me. I asked again about my appointment and another employee just told me to wait. Everyone that had an appointment that came in after me were greeted and taken care of not even 10-20 minutes after they sat down. I got up and walked out. Not worth my time at all.
If you are a customer looking to get assistance and customer service with an apple product, you are not going to get it here. You will leave the store feeling helpless and aggravated at the same time, please let me explain. My girl friend and I went into the store to get an issue fixed on her apple watch, it wasnt receiving text messages but it was receiving everything else. We were being assisted from 3:30 - 6 (closing). There is never a 1 to 1 experience, the tech is helping out 2 - 3 people at a time. We went through 4 techs, the managers did not assist or come over to see how things were going. At one point, the third tech we had actually disappeared and the manager didnt even do anything about it, he just put us back into the system, extremely displeasing.I have never felt so hopeless, aggravated and disheartened at the same time. If you are looking to get assistance with an apple product, do not go here, they do not care.If google would allow me to write the whole story I would. Ladies and Gentlemen who read this, please contact apple support first over the phone, before you go to the store. I work in the IT field and I can tell you personally that all troubleshooting steps could have been done over the phone. If it is a software related issue, apple cannot look at its own error logs, they can only run a diagnostic on the device. Also, if you do have an apple watch issue, be prepared it may take 3+ hours to fix. I seriously hope apple is seeing these reviews, because this store is making a mockery of their name, and I will not be buying apple products after this.
I am very disappointed with Apple. The experience I had was terrible. I always liked apple for there good service and phones but when I went today the service disappointed me. They barley listened to my concerns and kept giving me the same response. This was the first phone I bought from Apple and it might be the last. I called customer service and they said that they will replace my phone that has scratches on it before I even used it, but when I got to the store it was different. They were trying to charge me more money to fix these little scratches that I didnt do. I was told that all returned phones are scraped so what difference does it make, they didnt even give me the phone I needed first. I had to exchange it to get a phone that worked with a certain SIM card. The original phone was good but the new one had scratches on it. I hope Apple fixes this there service issues because it is frustrating.
Made an appointment to replace my iPhone 6 due to accidental water damage. It was my first time ever going to an Apple store and the place was super busy. I was only in there for a total of maybe 20 minutes between checking in, waiting for an employee to help me, replacing the phone for me and leaving. For being as busy as they were, I was quite pleased that I was in and out so fast. I had no problems whatsoever. I do recommend making an appointment in advance though to avoid a long wait.
I’d leave this Apple a zero if I could. I’ve never been so disappointed in customer service before in my life. Especially! From a company as large as this and to customers who have only purchased Apple their entire life. We brought my boyfriends phone into be repaired however were refused after waiting two hours. We replaced the battery and because we did were turned down, even though we were willing to pay because it was out of warranty. We followed up the second day and came in “too early for the appointment” and I wouldn’t be able to to just drop it off ahead of time for an apointment and pick it up the next day, and the employee stated it was too much of a liability. He also made a personal comment based on my boyfriends work uniform and said “we can’t do the appointments until their scheduled time Much like you cannot at your shop”. Excuse me? We walked out infuriated, we will not be returning and will consider alternative cell phone providers in the further. Needless to say we sought out services from second party vendors who provided outstanding service. If your native to the Buffalo area I recommend YoubreakiFix.
Misinformed about an upgrade.Upgraded to an 11 Apple rep did not indicate I would be paying for two phones for the same line because I did not own my trade in phone. A simple question about if I own my current phone would have saved me $300. Instead I will be paying for two phones for the same line for the next 22 months.
The worst Apple Store ever in the USA. Not only long waiting, but most of the staff are not qualified, they are like robots repeating template messages to consumers. I had two cases, with my iPhone6+ and recently with my iPhone7+. I was basically not served at all in the store, their too quick decision was sorry we replace you phone and you must pay 350$ as this out warranty, they did not listen or tried to help; then i had to call Apple (which also took very long) to get served.
I am an Android and Google person through and through. I have a Pixel 2XL. My family on the other hand is all Apple. My 12 year old loves walking through here to try all the new gadgets.Ill say, the stores are always inviting, clean, and staff very friendly. I like the design, decor, and layouts of these stores.
I am so disappointed in my local apple store. I made a service appointment which was a week out. Showed up at my scheduled time waited and waited with my sons beats studio 2 which were still under warranty. I had the receipt. I was told it would be over 200.00 to send them out to be repaired and they were three or four models ago, but that they had the latest model if I would like to purchase. I asked if they were on the studio 5 or 6 because these were from last year and I thought the newest model was the studio 3, but some stdio 2 were still in stores. He barely looked at my receipt.I couldnt believe it and I walked around the mall debating on purchasing a new pair for my son. I didnt think the pair I originally purchased were much more than 250.00 and they said it would be over 200 to repair. I went online and looked up the repair. I ordered the part which was 16.00 and popped it back on in less than 10 minutes, they are as good as new. I was being taken advantage of, they were trying to scam me into buying a new pair - playing on the fact that it was so close to Christmas and I would give in. I am totally disgusted. Why have a warranty, so you can get more people in to purchase new ones. So disappointed in apple employee, management and the company as a whole if this is the way they do business !!!!!!
Bought the iPhone 11 two days ago at ATT in orchard park not even a full day later the screen was damaged by no fault of my own must have been a manufacturing issue. Att screwed me around and sent me two another att in the galleria mall and some meat head pig instantly said he wasn’t gonna do a return or exchange and that puts a very bad taste in my mouth straight SCUMBAGS I highly recommend don’t go to ATT for anything, well already had to lose money and take off work to resolve this, apple in the galleria mall assessed my issue and replaced my screen free of charge well that didn’t fix the issue.. so there tech actually gave me a brand new phone for FREE to satisfy me! And make sure everything was a OK! Unbelievable customer service they deserve recognition ! Very pleased with them thank you guys again!!!!
80% of the people at this store don’t know anything about the apple products that there selling. I know more about there products then they do even vs what they should know which is very surprising, disappointing and just sad overall. Half of them are socially awkward and do not make you feel welcomed at all. I always feel rushed when I ask for help and then they always tell me to go online for assistance. Always a terrible experience every time after 2015, just sad guys just sad.
I went to the apple store at the Galleria Mall to get a problem with my videos fixed, they reset my phone without even explaining what they were doing and after it finished resetting all pictures I had taken that day had been erased. They gave me no warnings or even backed up my phone before hand. I had anniversary pictures and family pictures that are now gone forever thanks to the carelessness of the workers. Every time I go to the store for help they make things worse for me. I left the mall in tears, I’m so upset.
Out of all the apple stores I been too. This one is the least organized and you can tell they dont care. I went to make an appointment it was a walk in the young lady told me thirty minutes took my information. No text or anything came back in exactly thirty minutes and they said they text me and emailed me when I asked how long I had to wait. She completely just wrote whatever to go back to doing nothing. So then I ask if I could set up an appointment again couldnt give me an approximate time. I told them all I had to was turn in my device because I went to another store in a different state and they gave me a stick so they could know what exactly needed to be done. They turned a simple drop off into an complex appointment and none of them cares that my time was wasted because their employee didnt care. Not very professional at all.
WORST customer service ever. The worst Apple Store in the northeast. My experience seems to go down and down with every and any visit. They have no idea what customer service is and I am saying this as a FORMER EMPLOYEE. For every one person you set off, another 1000 on google will know. Another 1000 on Facebook and another 1000 on yelp. Thats 3000 people today.I was told a display replacement takes 2 hours. Then I was told they test the phone for an hour as a quality control measure. When I called the employee out and told him I worked at apple as well doing his exact job and that I understand that a display replacement is less than 30 minute labor. Then he said because they were understaffed it would take 2 hours to replace my display. The manager did not care when I told him I had appointments to get to. And he said wait 2 hours. I told him I was going to go someplace else because I did not have 2 hours to wait. He said that I should. And I left. That was the apple experience. DISINGENUOUS AND DISRESPECTFUL OF MY TIME. This was an appointment also.I called the manager to give him feedback while I was driving to macsolutions at the eastern hills mall. At first when I asked for a manager, I was given a manager on the phone. He pretended to not be the manager that served me. Then he said he was. When he was more comfortable with the conversation because all I did was express my concern for how they treat their customers. If AppleCare indicated to me that a repair is 2 hours, I would know what to expect. What set me off is when the employee stares me directly on the eye and tells me to walk around the mall for two hours.Again, the manager was unhelpful and asked what he could do for me. I told him nothing and that I was going to an apple authorized repair facility so I could move on with my day and not walk around the mall for 2 hours. I told him to take it as feedback and move on like I have with this particular store.I went to eastern hills mall to macprosolutions. I was told that they take 3-5 business days because they send it in to AppleCare like all the repair facilities. That was a nice burn from the Apple Store manager. No heads up, nothing. Like Im the jerk. Keep in mind all I wanted to do was replace my display and pay for it.The macprosolutions guys was awesome. Reminded my of what apple service was. I told him I had no problem with waiting 3-5 days and would pay extra for shipping. When the gentlemen informed me that the display might not be replaced because of the bent frame and that apple might just have me get a new phone. The amount of information on these phones nowadays is ALOT! So I didnt want to get a new phone. Soooo...I go to the cellphone store to the left of the GNC at the eastern hills mall. I got these guys to fix it in 20 minutes. Made my appointments and couldnt have been happier. 6 Month warranty. Sir, any manufacturer issues, please come back. Those guys rule.Manager at Apple didnt care, neither did employee. NO EMPATHY! I was just an inconvenience. A jerk.Save yourself time and money, avoid this particular Apple Store at all costs. I will drive to Pittsburgh when I get my new MacBook and iPhone 8. You should also if you care about a good Apple Store experience from true professionals. Now you know the inside scoop on this Apple Store. AVOID.
This story took place over a year ago but it is still relevant. Ex cracked her phone and needed it replaced.. They replaced the screen at her expense. When the job was finished, screen was put on crooked and one of the edges of the screen was raised.Within a month to no surprise the screen cracked again... on the pressure point by the screen being installed incorrectly. We brought it back to the store and REFUSED to fix it and told her shed have to pay all over again.Their products are garbage as is their service. Apple better get their act together or in the next couple decades will go the way of every other dysfunctional company (kodak, xerox, etc)
Salesperson does not even try to solve your problem or help, all they care about is just sucking your money! They keep referring to policy and not trying to listen. The iPhone 7 plus we got had scratches on the screen and they did not accept to replace or return it. Samsung phones are better. No more apple for our family. Will work to make sure they lose few customers every time I have a chance.
Everytime i come to ask for the battery replacement. They denied or find any reasons to tell me to come back. But i never get my phone fixed even though i come to schedule an appointment. They will be happy when u buy products from them but they will be unfriendly to fix ur phones. Customer services here terrible. Idk Apple pays for staff too little that these members are bad about service after selljng
Made an online purchase, so all I have to do is go to the store and pick it up. Wrong! The online part went as expected, and I got a text 30min later saying my order was ready. I walked in, and just like EVERY other time Ive been in this store, everyone is busy and I never know where to wait. I go to what I assumed was the counter at the back left, where I saw 2 workers standing at a table playing with ipads and after 10seconds of staring at them with their heads down, talking to each other (2ft from me), I said excuse me. The guy then told me to go across the store and talk to another guy (I had to awkwardly hover around him while he finished helping another customer). I gave that guy all of my information, and he told me to go to another guy. The 3rd guy made me pull my ID out again from my wallet, which I had just managed to put away. He was somehow confused, and went to talk to the second guy about why I was sent to him. After waiting with that last guy for about 5min, I got my product. I assume it would be much faster if I had just grabbed what I wanted off the wall and purchased it there, instead of being sent around the store, showing my ID to everyone, and having to wait for them to find it in the back.
Visiting this store was the worst experience ever. Here is what I experienced during my visit:1) unfriendly staff2) felt unwelcomed3) no eye contact or acknowledgement from staff4) I waited for almost 30 minutes at the kiosk inside the store and none of the staff approached me to ask if I need any help.I’ve been to too many apple stores previously but this store specifically was the worst experience.People, If you would like to be treated unwelcomed then go to this store. There are many other apple stores that you can go to which prove greater services.
The people working there are Apple geniuses but they are busy 100% of the time and you have to wait quite a long time for help. Now if your buying thats almost instant help. I have done both things many times and seen it personally. They need a bigger store and a lot more people, as a matter of fact I know people that will buy on line before ever going to that store because of the wait. The scheduled appointments are crap and the lie on the assistance, check in and help time Ive seen them do it.
I changed my review from 1 star to 5. Because the gentleman in front in line this morning (I need to get his name) did something that is so rare today. I waited forever just to pick up a fixed phone. I angrily approached him and told him. He looked it up and said he made a mistake and his fault. That is all needed to rectify a situation and show how honest he is as a representative. This man should be teaching customer service. With few words and costing no time to the company or me, he made it all good.
People at the store are professional. They went above and beyond to fix my iMac 27in very quickly. It was out of warranty but they fixed it as one-time exception. Along the way they repaired the damaged screen that I damaged (not them). We will definitely continue doing our business here. Very satisfied.
I went in for a screen repair. They told me after my screen repair that the managed to save my data but that i had to wait for 60 mins or so as the phone was disabled. They never gave me a warning that this happens when you enter your passcode too many times. I only got 1 shot and had I known the phone will go into a Disabled mode after I would have tried to get the code right. Im on the phone with Apple they are shocked why the didnt tell me at the store this would happen..plus, apparently this happens when you enter the code too too many times...no idea what they were doing to my phone in the back!! my bad for not backing up my phone but lousy job at their end for letting this happen (losing my data) after the repair, not during...very very upset!
The initial experience is friendly and curious staff. However, that is the end of the line as far as service goes. We went to the store to have a cracked screen replaced on a working and fully functional iPhone 6. They did warn us that the process may not be able to repair the screen, and in that case we would have an option to replace the entire device. So, they took the phone in the back and indicated for us to come back in two hours as they have to test the process. We came back after two hours and it was not done. Said they needed additional time. So we waste another 30 minutes and come back. This time they say that the phone screen cannot be replaced and we can either replace the entire phone or have the old one back just as it was. We decided that the crack was small enough not to worry about it. After walking out of the store we realize the phone has no iOS installed on it. So we go back into the store and have to wait for someone to help since we no longer have an appointment. The did fit us in, but just a hassle. They went to put iOS something on the phone and it failed. They tried again and it failed again. After this they tell us the phone is dead and the hardware had failed. SERIOUSLY! To make us feel better they did apologize. So it was either $300 or nothing. This is analogous to taking your car into the dealer for a cracked window and they came back later and said your motor was dead.If I never have to; I will never buy another Apple product out of my own pocket. They DO NOT stand behind the hardware or their service. Furthermore, I have my doubts that anyone there really knows what they are doing. The use a machine to replace the screens which is probably what happened to the phone.
They were very understanding when replacing my HDD was able to get it done quickly with the correct expectation. Theyve also waved a restocking fee when I returned a different iMac a few days after the 15 day limit. The staff is very knowledgeable and especially friendly, approachable, and empathetic. I not only recommend Apple products to friends and family, I also recommend purchasing them direct from an Apple store as it is the best experience
The apple Walden Galleria is a type of mall where a lot is stuff happens, but it’s very rare for something horrible to happen. The amount of times i’ve went there and was overwhelmed by the options!! I’m sure that there is larger malls in New York, but as a local Buffaloian for a long time, it’s a good mall over all. People are pretty respectful in the mall at all times. The one reason I gave this 4/5 Stars was because this one time I got my phone fixed, because it was cracked. The next day, I saw my phone and the screen protector that they gave me was broken! I did not like this. Although it hasn’t cracked more, it bothers me because i paid $100 for this! overall, i may have problems with the mall time to time, this mall is a good mall to go christmas shopping, or just hang out near the food court.
My experience was with apple express pickup not a very happy experience supposed to have been picked up between 1:15 and 1:30 we got there is a designated time and they didnt have it had to call AppleCare got hung up on four times I dont know what the problem was but we finally got it at 2:30 so much for express
First of all if I could post this review without 1 star I would... I bought a new apple MacBook from this store and they have the worst customer service I have ever received. I literally waited a good 30 minutes before they finally helped me and then they are in a rush to leave you once you have theyre attention. Ive literally had employees ignore me and act like they didnt hear me. I went again to purchase a Apple Watch and band and I literally walked out because of how bad customer service is! I went to Best Buy and they were happy to service me. Definitely dont recommend going to this Apple Store.
I have had a very bad experience at the apple store in Walden galaria. I bought my phone XR on October 2018 and have one year warranty.it started to turned off some time suddenly call dropped off all phone signals go away after a second signal come back but my call disconnect.some time call is very important.i call T-Mobile many times but they check signals that we’re good because other people have same company connection their phone in my house they didn’t have this problem.then I wait about 4 months may this problem go away but not.then I went Walden galaria apple store Tell the problem he did diagnostics check but in phone every thing look good then he said your storage is full but more storage then I buy more storage.he said if problem remains come again we will did other thing restart your phone everything go away and download again. He said May your phone sim or connection have problems.after that I change sim but problem remains sometimes a was paying bill during that phone disconnect sometimes talking with family. after about two months I went again he diagnosed everything look good he back up and turned off phone and re start everything download again.he said after to do this this problem go away if didn’t .come again tomorrow we will change phone.same day in evening same thing happen.and next day two times same thing happen I went again different lady she said I do diagnose it look everything good in phone she said if call dropped front of us then we change phone she call me two minutes but call didn’t drop.and she said last thirty call 0 calls drop but about have hour ago before coming to store my call dropped what they think i m lying.
I had a bad experience with worker Peter. The white guy who had a bald head and skinny. My computer had crashed yesterday, so I decided to bring it to the apple store. I had a wonderful experience with the workers Eden who told me what drive to buy. And Ashley was very friendly and helpful. She helped me to transport my information to a drive. Unfortunately she had to go to lunch and hand me over to a man name Peter. Peter seemed okay until another customer shows up he started rushing me and treating me strange as if I was a pest with asking questions. He whipped my computer down with a towel and kept on commenting on how dirty my computer was out loud for the other customer to hear. As if he was trying to impress the other customer. He was acting cocky which was a turn off to me. I left out upset and unhappy. Its sad when just one worker can ruin a customer experience. I hope you could do better with time and maturity growth.
Went in, it was a bit busy, they had the iPhone 11pro max 512g, they explained all the options, helped transfer all the data to new phone and we walked out with my daughter smiling ear to ear(we actually wanted 256 but color selection was limited) shell probably need the 512 with all the high quality videos she records. Thank You Apple.
I am a longtime lover of Apple products and have several along with our organization. And have never been so disappointed as I was today. After downloading the update something happened to my Ipad pro and was told that their was nothing they could do. Without accepting any responsibility for what has taken place. All the store leader, Lucas could say was that I am sorry, its out of warranty.I have never been more disappointed in Apples response to a situation that I truly feel is their responsibility. Although I have been a huge fan of Apple and a strong proponent of its culture, I have been shocked today to take a second look.
So this morning my friend went to this establishment to purchase a laptop for college. she specifically asked for the MacBook Pro 13 inch (without the Touch Bar because it was $300 extra for dumb touch screen when there nothing wrong with buttons) the workers at the store gave her the wrong one and she paid for the one that she didnt want and they didnt realize til they got home and it was the one with the touch bar and she was charged the extra $300 she was so mad she didnt even want to go back for a refund.
Every time I go to the Apple Store at the Walden Galleria, the employees provide me with the worst customer service ever. The employees are very rude and they do not know how to deal with customers. The managers are the same way, the way they treat customers, it seems like they do not have the necessary skills to have a manager position. Many of the employees I have dealt with do not know much about the products at all. There are always a bunch of people just standing there talking to each other doing absolutely nothing. Overall I am not happy with my experience from any of my visits so I do not think I will purchase anything from there ever again.
I have been back and fourth with Verizon for a month trying to recieve my iPhone 7 order that had been messed up on their end. Today I was finally sick of them giving me the run around and decided to stop into the Apple Store in the Walden galleria. I dont know why I didint do so sooner. Within 30 minutes of being in the store, they had helped me more that Verizon had in a month (several phone calls and store visits). The store was extremely busy, yet they got me in and out, with a new phone. I will definitely be skipping the middle man next time and heading straight to apple. Thanks for everything!
This is not for the Apple store necessarily, but more for the fact that signing up for the Genius Bar is impossible!!! I dont want to have to go through a million steps to tell what my issue is and then find out that I cant even make the appt. because something else like a chat is recommended. If I wanted to chat Id do a chat. I want to go into the store and make an appt. so I should be able to do that quickly without wasting time and shuffling through tons of webpages. Shame on you, Apple.
BUYER BEWARE !!!!! Went in the store to see if my i phone 5c cracked screen could be repaired.I was signed in and a tech saw my phone and said that he was sure it was just the screen that we would be emailed when to return in about two hours.Well none of the above was done and then was accused by manager of having them phone screen replaced somewhere else by a third party so it could not be repaired by APPLE so some how mysteriously the phone is no longer an i phone. Mind you I have been to the Walden Galleria store TWICE for same phone to be fixed for a frozen screen. This is all a scam no receipts no emails and a manager and a tech team that accuses the customer of lying about a phone. Thanks Apple I am now completely an ANDROID buyer.
4.25.Pleasantly surprised with Eric and the staff that assisted with my phone.Only frustration is the terrible sign in system. 4 people had to give heir life story to get signed in. By the time that 30 minutes was up I was finally able to get checked in for my appointment which I was 20 minutes late for by then.
I used to work for apple. One of the technicians there actually had the audacity to fake a diagnostics test that I clearly knew was 100% false, when I called her out on it, she put me back in the queue to be seen by someone else, even cancelled my appointment with her so I wouldn’t get a reminder email to assess her on, but saved our session in the notes of my account! Real shady stuff there Apple!
My appointment was scheduled for 6:30 PM Tuesday July 5, 2016. Without notice my appointment was pushed back to 7:20 PM. These guys are so busy and rude. Even when the appointment time comes, they make you sit at a designated table and make you wait another 30 minutes. It turns out the person who will be helping you is just standing around talking to people and co workers not doing anything. In previous appointments Ive had to point out multiple times that my appointment was at X:XX time and I have been waiting this long. Still they say we are sorry, we are running busy. and then the person leaves for another 10-15 minutes and turns out the person who just said someone would be right with you, is the person who is going to help you.
1st appointment was a disaster long wait only to find out we could not even get what we needed done. 2nd appointment we had everything all set to avoid same problems, only to find out my appointment I made was useless i still had to wait 2 hours and on top off that after the two hours I was informed they are behind and my in store fix would take 12 hours and I could come back again or have to leave the phone overnight. I left it overnight, what pisses me off is I watched a guy on the 2nd floor of the mall replace the exact screen I was getting replaced in front of me while I was waiting for my 1st appointment for half the cost. My wife only wanted apple touching her iphone.....what a joke
Super slow service, not to mention they gave me an AT&T locked phone when I have Verizon! It took me an extra 2 hours at the mall figuring out how to get my service back, and the only people who helped were at the Verizon store. Neither Apple nor AT&T helped a bit. Added a lot of unnecessary stress to my day as well as caused me to be late. I am done with Apple, the next phone I get is going to be LG. Very unhappy with my service.
Not even worth one star! My father who is 80 years old made an appointment to have an Apple Store employee install his screen protector. He waited forever (WITH an appointment and on a Monday morning... not a Saturday or Sunday) and after he was greeted, the Apple employee would NOT install the screen protector for him. He talked with the store manager which proved to be a waste of time. Screen protectors are difficult to install and apparently providing an 80 year old man assistance wasnt something this store would do. Very disappointed in this stores service as I myself have been to other Apple stores that assist with installing screen protectors (because even at my age, I have a difficult time installing them). BAD BAD AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. The store wasted my fathers time and basically gave him the boot. HORRIBLE customer service. He just spent hundreds of dollars on an iPhone 6 and the store wouldnt even assist him with installing a screensaver? Should have known better... it is an Apple Store. Help, what is that?
The place Is a zoo and Is not reallly easily accessible from outside the mall. The wait Just to talk to someone once you get In the store was like 20 minutes, then wait for the part we needed to be brought out. If Mac Pro Solutions was open Sunday we never would have gone there.
I love Apple products, I really do, but so many of the people who work there suck (and so does the store concept). I dont want to have to make an appointment with Toby, Pax, Breah, or Callie just to buy something. I tried buying it online to pick up in store but then you have to go see Gomer Pyle in the middle so he can tell you to wait at the table with the MacBook Airs where youll be working with Waldo.
Hit or miss. We had one GREAT customer service experience last year, but tonight’s service was so bad I told the arrogant twit he was telling me to take my business somewhere else. He said he wasn’t. I assured him he was and walked out not likely to return. If I do return it will be to try things out before I buy online.
I have no problem with Apple, or their products, in fact I love them! However, I have a major problem with this particular store. I just moved to the Buffalo area a month ago. To preface, where I lived, prior, there are 2 different Apple stores, and both are incredible. The main one always had helpful associates that, even if they were busy, would be friendly, helpful, acknowledge your presence . Unfortunately, this store is the only one in the area, so Im stuck with the horrid customer service. I never needed an appointment at the store in South Jersey, but, apparently they wont even talk to you, at the Walden Galleria, without a reservation. I went in to have my iPhone looked at, and to make an appointment for my MAC, and I stood there for 20 minutes while about 10 employees walked right past me. They never once asked if I needed help, in fact, other than looking at me (which only 2 did), they didnt even acknowledge my existence. Finally, after I was completely fed up, I got the attention of an employee. She told me they only deal with people who have a reservation. Excuse me?! First, how could anybody know if I did have a reservation since nobody bothered to even say hello, let alone see if I needed help. Secondly, I wasnt aware that one needs to make a reservation to shop. What if I wanted to buy an iPad, MacBook Pro, or another Apple product? Am I supposed to call ahead to make an appointment to shop? Apparently, at this store, its required. Unfortunately, I have to deal with this store, because, as I said, theres not another one in the area (unless I want to drive up to Toronto, which I may end up doing). Head this warning, if you can avoid this store, do it!! This is the absolute worst Apple store with the most wretched customer service. The staff is rude, curt, unhelpful, and exceptionally unfriendly. When its time to purchase new Apple products, I will NOT be buying anything from this location!
Whats wrong with the sale people at the Apple Store at Galleria Mall in Cheektowaga, NY? Last night we went to the store a little after 9:00 pm to ask about an iphone. We were approached by a young man who clearly wasnt interested in either talking to us or answering our questions. We asked him if the store had 64 GB iphones in stock and he launched into a speech about how the stock is constantly changing and that we couldnt buy a iphone right then because it would take 30 minutes to set it up which would take it past closing time. He was even reluctant to tell us what they had available for sale in the store. He wanted us to go to the website rather than lookup the stores iphone stock. When we asked what time the store would open the next day he said he didnt know because he wasnt working.I have rarely seen such an difficult person in a sales position. His attitude seemed to be that we would be lucky to purchase an iphone and that we shouldnt be bothering him with our questions. From looking at the other posts on this website, its clear that I am not the only person who has had this kind of unpleasant experience at this Apple store. The Cheektowaga store manager should seriously consider either re-training the sales people to be nice to the customers or replacing them with customer-friendly sales people.
I got their 20 min before my appointment time, checked in Then I was told to Waite outside & some one will call my name.20 min passed my appointment time no one called then I asked what’s is going on they said oh we called ur name but couldn’t find u. What the f.. I have been waiting on line in front of the store where they told me they still couldn’t find me. Unprofessional unfriendly people.
I would have given 5 but this store needs more people because this store has outgrown its location. Otherwise, I have always had very good customer service. I have purchased online and at the Walden Galleria store. I just purchasd an I-phone last week. Walked in and had a rep help me immediately. Purchased a phone, wireless service, car charger, back cover for phone then sent to setup desk where a rep set up my phone, answered any questions and sent me away as a happy customer. Some reps are more knowledgeable than others so if not happy ask for someone else. I have been an Apple customer for 25 years. It helps if you go online and do a little research before you walk into the store. Having to call and be transferred so many times before you get help, is frustrating. I own and iMac, iPad, phone and am very satisfied though the store needs to be managed a bit better..
I was a dum dum and left my iPhone 7 + on top of my car. I didnt find out until I was going 50 mph and it flew off the car and onto the road smashing the front glass and LCD.I called and scheduled an appointment, dropped it off and two beers later it was good as new. Thank you James at the Apple store. Good stuff.
Absolute worst retail experience of my life. I went to the Eastview Apple store in Victor. And when I went there I said Im from Buffalo - their response? We get a lot of Buffalo people here. And that should tell you everything you need to know.I love Apple products and have always found their stores and phone support very helpful, but not this store. Definitely not this store.
The individuals employed at the Apple Store located at the Walden Galleria mall were unprofessional and rude. In my 10+ years as an Apple consumer, this is the first time that I have ever had a negative experience with an Apple Store. This store singlehandedly sullies the pristine image that Apple strives to maintain. I brought my computer to the genius bar to have the battery replaced. I was told by someone named Trixie with multi-colored hair who identified herself as an administrator that the 90-day warranty would be voided on the repair despite Apples 90-day warranty policy because of alleged corrosion on an unrelated part of my computer. When I attempted to speak to Trixie over the telephone to inquire about my repair and the warranty she abruptly ended the call and would not allow me to get a word in edgewise.I subsequently went to the brick and mortar store and spoke to a manager named John who at first told me that there was no 90-day warranty for the battery because it was a consumable product, notwithstanding the fact that, just the day prior, I bought a new charger which was warrantied for 90 days. After I brought to the managers attention that Apple has always offered 90-day warranties on repairs, he capitulated. When I asked the manager how I would know whether his people installed a defective battery on my computer, he had no answer.I asked the manager if he could please provide me with documentation substantiating that my repair was covered under the 90-day policy and he printed out Apples general 90-day policy warranty from the web site. Clearly, the manager along with sidekick Trixie was trying to pull a fast one. The manager himself talked out of both sides of his mouth. At first he stated there was no 90-day warranty, yet, lo and behold, he was able to find said written policy and provide it to me.Evidently, this simple task of providing documentation to a customer regarding Apples known 90-day warranty policy is something that Trixie, whose unprofessionalism is only rivaled by her self-absorption, could not accomplish. This Apple store is untrustworthy, unprofessional, and completely disinterested in consumer needs. Avoid this store at all costs. If you have to drive to another county to get to a more professional Apple store, do it. Do not give these shysters your business.
The most uncomfortable cold setting with no organization...rude...but trying not to be...last place on earth I will ever go again...all I wanted was a gift card ...sent me off to a kid doing a huge order that just looked at me.. Apple get your crap together we still deserve your respect and it is obvious from this place you feel to high up to deal with the likes of PEOPLE!!! Awful...just plane awful...sorry I had to give it a star at all...
This store is the worst. The salespeople are rude and not helpful at all. I went in, with my 5 year old son, to buy an iMac. Nobody ever asked if I needed help and when I asked for help I was told I had to wait in line at the service desk even though there were at least 12 people on the floor just walking around. I guess they dont care about selling any product. Really like Apple products but my experience at this store has me considering other makes. Then I found a MUCH better store with helpful salespeople. I even think they know more about Apple products then the geeks at the Apple store. If youre looking for Mac products and are sick of the bad service at the Apple store try Mac Solutions in the Eastern Hills Mall.
Bad experience my phone was freezing a lot so i took it to apple walden galleria mall ARNE helped us he was not helpful at all he did some test and there was software issue in my phone rather then fixing the issue he offered me to BUY NEW IPHONE 12 PRO which i just did not even 4 months agoHe was not helpful at all
This apple store sucks! Went in to buy some memory modules for my 5K IMac but I was told that I had to bring it into the store for them to install it. But wait, thats not the worst part; theyre gonna take out the 8 gb that your IMac comes with and add in 16gb. Instead of having a total of 24gb of memory, you end up with 16gb! So you end up paying $400 for an additional 8 gb??? What the heck is this?! Waste of time going to this place kmt!
I wanted to check out the products and no one was helping me, two of the costumer servers were standing there chatting, so i went up and started asking them questions. One of them looked away, not wanting to be part of the conversation and the one replied me said just hang on there and someone will be right with me. But no one came, and so i left the store.
Walked in for info on a phone, was put on the list and waited the 10 minutes I was told it would be while I watched employees walking around asking others if they needed help and other employees standing in groups talking and others doing nothing. Dont know why I was told to wait while there was clearly workers not doing anything important. Not good customer service at all.
I was harassed by a bully security guard. That guy was literally discouraging people from shopping there. I was sitting on my Walker in an empty hallway and he made a point to come up to me and tell me that my mask wasnt covering my nose. He told me that if I did not adjust it I could leave HIS mall.
Writing today because this poor customer service representative Thomas at the walden galleria apple store needed to help me accomplish my goals which took nearly 3 hours...multiple managers cane to check on us...everything was fine Tom was doing everything he possible could as 3 of my teenagers waited and waited. It was nothing that he or apple had done...it was just of course my crazy complicated request and lack of knowledge....cant say enough....but I will say THANKS TOM F. for everything!
I went yesterday to apple store Galleria mall and this was my first time, after yelling at Tmobile in Niagara Falls for absolutely not helping me with my daughters iPhone that was broke and still new I go directly to apple everyone was very nice. Our tech specialist was Lucus he was great beyond great made the whole experience painless he is wonderful just would like his bosses to know this. Lucus knew immediately what to do and helped us. I will now come and buy my phones directly from apple. Thank you Lucus your the best!
Went there to fix my mac pro laptop it turns on and would go to login screen but wont sign in. They said I needed to buy a new laptop instead of them reinstalling the software. I read reviews about them not repairing any device and its true. I managed to login thru safe mode and downloaded an update from Apple and it works perfectly now. Only go there if youre rich and want to throw money away. YouTube everything and youll fix it yourself. 😉
Most terrible Apple Store because they do not have enough tech. Waiting time is terrible. There is a difference on greetings and attitude between persons who take your appointment for tech and sales agents. No wonder why this store has poor rating. APPLE PLEASE OPEN A NEW STORE OR HIRE MORE PEOPLE OR STOP SELLING IF YOU CAN NOT OFFER TECH SUPPORT
Very bad customer service. I went 3 times complaining about my iPhone and they did not believe that was issue with it. I needed to sent it directly to Apple to finally, have the labs analyze my issue and replace the device. Dont trust in what the Genius people in this store says.
Horrible experience with my warrantee for my Apple devices it has been a month and a half and I’m trying to fix my air pot and they are giving me a run around last week they asked me to make an appointment and come back the next week and before that they said that Nothing wrong with it anyway I feel like the Apple company is going down in the customer service horrible experience I mean if I’m going to my doctor I can expect to make an appointment going to fix my Apple device do I really need to make a doctor appointment come on now
I Walked and I Was waiting for help and no one is available and the people in the back of talking to each other and the people in the front was talking with some people I just felt like there’s not enough customer service it was such a waste of time I had to drive to get there and I needed help with my iPhone and with my AirPods and couple other devices that I have bought but I did not get any support After 10 minutes I had to leave. 🙁
Excellent service from everyone-Especially Renee!Ask for her.She was able to show me how to adjust the volume control on my Newton. My worthless, shiftless degenerate grandson works with computers all day long over at the OTB. Youd think he could do that for me but not even a return phone call.Anyway, now I can hear my Newton just fine, without cranking up the volume up on my hearing aids.Shes courteous, knowledgeable and very professional. (and, quite the looker too!)
I called then talked to a guy and told him my phone had fallen and the screen had white lines going down it.. The guy replies saying Its Probably because you dropped it then starts to laugh.. The conversation persisted and I continued to explain to the individual that I know its because I dropped it Im what the WHITE LINES WERE!!! was extremely irritated and did not help that he kept laughing at me!
Kyle, our Apple genius guy,was Awesome! He put up with us elder non tech questions lol Im 52 with lil brain damage and he was really patient with mefor repeating questions etc. He was very quick, had a new iPad to set up and change account from old one,and also I couldnt get in a mini iPad I bought from someone,he really came thru for us very quickly. 2021-12-08My first time in the apple store! Made an appointment online which was great because everyone walking in were getting told there was a 2 hour wait. Was very busy inside the store as always. I was trying to get an IPAD charging port fix. They was going to order me a replacement IPAD, but I was not going to pay triple the price I paid for my IPAD originally. So unfortunately they werent able to help me. The staff was really nice and willing to help though.

2022-06-20The workers were all very friendly and helpful! But $250 to replace a 44mm watch screen is very high i feel like... if I am in this situation again i probably wont go through apple again.

2022-06-24This store is hit and miss. The younger college students working there and some of the seniors are welcoming and sweet. Some are overly rude, which is unusual for an apple store. One Indian worker with glasses pointed me out as I was walking out with my laptop which I had picked up from the Genius Bar (my laptop), didn’t make eye contact with me and doesn’t smile or welcome you. Not a recipe for a great experience, I tell you. Genius Bar guys are nice and know what they are doing.

2022-05-26I had a terrible experience here because my Apple-card co-owner went into this store and wanted to finance a macbook. We didnt have enough available credit on our current credit card and the employee helping tells my co-owner to apply for their own card and then they will do it. Well opening a new card closes the existing card and now I am out of luck because of an employee here.

2022-08-12Sent in my laptop to fix display issue. They not only failed to fix it but also FORGOT to connect the wifi and Bluetooth parts back, so my wifi and Bluetooth don’t work.I returned the store to fix it. They fixed those but messed up my trackpad and menu bar.Now I have to go back to the store for the 3rd time in 2 weeks. I live an hour drive away for a round trip to the store. Thanks.

2022-03-20I recently made a purchase at the Apple Store at Walden Galleria. I received my survey which I was only able to choose a “5” but wasn’t able to leave comments. So listen. I would appreciate it if someone would pass this info along to someone who can make sure the proper appreciation is shown. I took my son to buy the new IPad and an Apple Pencil that he is so excited about, he is 6 years old. The manager of the store talked to him about video games, entertained and talked with him, while I worked with the coolest specialist on planet earth, Justin.Justin was incredibly thorough, made sure my son had everything he wanted on his special day, he had a great attitude, a great knowledge of the product, funny, down to earth, and had the freshest sneakers on the floor. When we completed our purchase, my son Axl and I left to a series of handshakes and fist bumps from the 3 men that had helped us through our visit. “Enjoy your ipad Minecraft master” ,made my day.Shopping at the Walden galleria Apple store is an experience because of the incredible staff there.Thank you,

2022-02-27As Russia invades Ukraine...first things first... we need to attend to our Mac Pro which needs a new battery. As many of us are, we are terribly upset by the invasion of Ukraine and are sadly listening to all the horrible details of the ghastly attack...and then we get to your unbelievable Apple Store at the Walden Galleria...out of nowhere, people are friendly, lots of cultural variety in the people we see, both staff and customers...we have our hearing dog that all are so willing to accommodate...and even though my husband and I need to wait over a hour to download documents from my Mac so it can be sent away for its new battery...it feels like we are in another dimension...we are so impressed with the general friendliness and yet high productivity of the staff and then there is the impression of customers, like us, who appear to be feeling pretty relaxed...even though we are in the middle of a very busy store...we all seem to feel the same comfort...believing we will be taken care of in a kind and timely manner in a fair and reasonable way...thank you very much.
