It was OK, the food was forgotten and the blamed on the table by the server, as ok I will order you another on and oh you would like to add that just weird. What we did get was hot, but not by the time the rest of the meal arrived.Host was extremely nice and even got us napkins and and the server on 2 seperate occasions as we could not find her anywhere
Found blue plastic in side my food, the burger look like something from a McDonalds but worst somehow and the chicken tend got every small.
Lovely time, just as always at Applebees. Over the years they have remained much the same, which is nice. Everything was very clean, the service excellent, the food was generous portions, and tasty.
Everything was really good other than my girlfriend ordered a classic bacon cheeseburger and she asked for the Hamburg to be well done and it came to her with a lot of pink in the middle but the waitress did take the burger off the bill
Went here for a girls dinner with my sister in law and had a horrible experience. Staff was super rude and short. Waitress huffed and shook her head when we would ask her for things. Hostess only said yup when we said have a good day. Place was empty and took over a half hour just to take our drink order. Ugh. Wont be returning.

Greeter made you feel unwanted and was snippy to the point we almost left! waitress brought wrong food to our table, food portion was small and tons of honey poured over the pasta bread sticks didnt come out until we were done eating. Waitress was nice at least.
The appetizers were great, as was the feista lime chicken. The weight staff was very good and the restaurant was very clean. A good experience, and I look forward to going again.

Totally not worth it. I been sitting at the bar right now waiting to order. Both bar tenders ignore my partner and me trying to make a order. Nobody asked if we need a few to make our mind up. This is totally messed up. Everyone else gets a order and eats and we wait. I wont be back at all. What a horrible experience. Its 530pm and Im sitting here now waiting for over 20 minutes. 2 bartenders and drinks run dry. General mananger standing at the end of the bar table and talking to the bar tenders and not paying attention to empty glasses. The bartender britt washes glasses right in front of us and a empty glass right in plain sight 10 minutes later you want another drink. This is really poor service. This place needs a major overhaul and put customers first.
Onion rings were bland no flavor, or freezer burnt , sauce on chicken wings was like gross, French fries were greasy no vegetables with meal .

Normally all is good here. Today, not so much. Too many staff (thats a first!). And we were still ignored by three people at the door. Then we could only get 1 menu, thats all we have. The place was almost empty. Then the waitress was asking if we were OK every 3-5 minutes. Thank God the knives arent sharp there. Burger was good. Fries were not.
INSANE. placed a 60$ curbside order from Applebees Grill & Bar . They completely forgot an entire meal, burger , mash potatoes and all. when i called they offered to remake it. I told them we would eat what we had and i’d be back for the meal. all is well you would think right? untill we open our boneless wings and can physically KNOCK on the table with them. I then proceeded to call again and let them know. When i show back up again for the meal they forgot, the give me a dessert to butter me up. I leave and get home, to open a burger that hasn’t even been put on the grill. a completely raw burger slapped on a bun and a bowl of soup they consider “ice cream” to make things better. When i call to tell them this insane and the burger had never even been cooked, i was interupted several times ans offered coupons in the mail. I told them after forgetting a meal, wings harder than a rock, ice cream soup, and a raw burger i would just like a refund. i was told “NO” by the manager and that she would remake the food AGAIN. what makes these places think i still want to eat their food at this much running around? With that being said i will never eat at Applebees Grill + Bar again.Mind you we dined in a few weeks ago and the waitress forgot about us so we were handed off to another waitress who was very rude and rushing us out the door. We were handed our reciept with our meal as well as boxes (pretty much telling us to leave) and when the bartender brought me my drink because the waitress “forgot” for 25 minutes, it was spilt ALL over the glass, no candy, no straw, and was told “there’s napkins right there”.

Went for dinner yesterday..It was super dirty in the restaurant, floors, tables and bathroom.. was seated at a dirty table with food on my seat and had to ask to get it wiped.. the waitress really seemed like she was on drugs, waited forever for our food and it was really gross, fries were also cold and soggy. Received our bill and their was an extra meal on it and had to wait 15 min to get it taken off. Tried calling another waitress over to help me with the computer bill machine and she just stared at me from across the room... Won’t come back. Completely waited 35$

Enjoyed Lunch today with Friends. Nice to finally be out again after being a prisoner in my home for the last 15mos. Hostess & Server were exceptional @ Applebees. Food was prepared nice and hot and presented like a photo in a magazine. YUM!Bonus even ran into two old friends there celebrating their 61st Anniversary today. WOW! it is true like being in the Neighborhood.
Applebees as a national chain has a bad reputation for a variety of reasons. This location on the other hand provides a great experience. It has a great interior that reflects local sports teams. The waiters and waitresses are always friendly and attentive to the needs of the customers. The quality of the food is always amazing (especially their plethora of wings). I dont see why this shouldnt be a five star restaurant.
Potatoes were cold. Steak was well done instead of medium rare. Asked for broccoli and green beans instead of potatoes and got potatoes instead of broccoli. Very disappointed iñ the overall meal.

I know theres a staff shortage just about everywhere these days but for the amount of people that werent in the restaurant at the time we were there, our service should have been better. Staff were all polite but we waited 10 min for drink order to be taken after being seated and 25 for the app. We also werent given the machine to pay at the table and had to wait while our waitress was fetched to pay.
Great food👍🏼 we had to wait a long time on our food, but when it came, it was delicious. Just dont order an appetizer, main meal and dessert if you arent used to eating alot. The servings are HUGE.

My husband and I had some time to kill and a gift card to use. We had a nice late lunch/early dinner. The waitress made sure our meals were brought out quickly. The food was tasty and the serving sizes were reasonable. We chose the 2 for $29 special. My husband had mac & cheese with chicken tenders. I had the 8 ounce sirloin with broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes.
Good friendly service and staff. It is the servers that make this place thrive. Along with good cooks, good food, together they provide a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy yourself.

We were seated right away. Service was prompt and friendly. Food was great. My hubby and I are still adjusting to life in public during covid times, this was a pleasant experience. Only negative was using the bathroom....all stalls were out of toilet paper ☹️ had to hunt someone down to fix this, which was easy and immediately fixed!
We have not been to Applebees since the COVID struck. This use to be a good place to go. I have not had a bad experience there till this last visit 4-19-2021. Half the crowd twice the wait could not even get a drink before we were getting pusshed to order. we left.

Restaurant web site says open till 11. Show up 930 doors locked host standing in side. No response. Call said doors had to be lock so they would be done by 11. Saw 3 other couples try to enter.All ended up at Chilis...Never go there again. So unprofessional...

Usually order pick up. Curbside staff is very nice, prompt and helpful.Arrived at 8.30pm, needed a few minutes to decide what to order (literally 3-5). At this time, the waitress took it upon herself to say; you do know we close at 10, right? As if we were putting her out.My friend went ahead and ordered. I declined to order anything.Doesnt pay to have to deal with a rude waitress when your blood sugar is low and youre already in a bad mood.Ill leave it at 4 stars because overall its about as OK as a chain restaurant gets.We all have our days. At least my friend enjoyed her meal while I was taking a principled stand and not eating. LOL.PS. She was extra kind to my friend after she figured out that I was displeased. I had water and shelled out $30 for her to eat. Take it for what it may or may not be worth. Caveat Emptor.UPDATE: I left my jacket in the booth when I left and had to return to retrieve it. The manager was standing next to it and I mentioned to him that I didnt leave a glowing review on google for his restaurant. I havent been here in a few years, but my son has been asking since he found out it was a restaurant. Service was fast and our server (Kevin) we very nice and genuine. Food was delicious and my kids really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was nice. We did go on a Monday around 5p so that may have played a factor in the quiet.
Food was good but service was subpar only because they were understaffed. Not sure how it would have been otherwise. Unfortunately we were there well over an hour before receiving our entrees.
A few months ago I gave this place 2 stars because everything tasted like it sat for 2 days and was warmed In a microwave. Recently I have given them another chance and I am thankful I did. The food now is very good. You could tell from the texture and flavor things are being made fresh. The server was also very kind and knew the menu like the back of her hand. Great job! My date and I were there at 6:30.pm. I ordered the 6 oz steak and when the server brought our meal the steak so small and it was all grizzled. I will never eat there again.
Although the food was overall very good the service was slow. I spoke with the server who appeared to be extremely overwhelmed. I have dined at Applesees in the past and always had a great experience. Possibly they were understaffed the night in question but for the price you pay at a chain Restaurant the Management should ensure that there is enough servers on any given day. I will say though once the food arrived it was very good.

Dont really care for this place. Its better than it was in the past. But tonight was horrible. My daughters cup looked like someone had had their lips on it. The table was not wiped down. The cook was more interested in the basketball game than our food. My burger looked like an elephant stepped on it and stuck it in between two buns. At least it tasted better than it looked. Really in my opinion its the managers fault.

Friday night in Auburn, there was a 10-minute wait to get seated. Staff was friendly, and kept the flow moving. Table service wasnt bad not was it exceptional. Food was good, no issues with Booth not being clean. Overall it was a good experience and we will return.
I went to the Applebee’s in auburn NY, on February 26. And had the worst experience I’ve ever had well dining out. After we ate me and my friend decided to order drinks to go. So we paid for our meal and drinks and our waitress told us we could grab them from the bar before we left. The male bartender there was extremely rude. He asked us what we wanted and we explained the situation to him and he told us you can’t order drinks without food and we told him we already ate and paid for our drinks so he proceeded to role his eyes and walk away. After about ten minutes of waiting he made our drinks. As he handed them to me I asked for a straw for when I got home and he goes I’m not aloud to give you straws and if you’ll notice there’s no cut at the top either in a very demeaning tone. So I just said okay thanks and as I’m walking away in front of the whole bar he said uh because you can’t drink and drive and shrugged his shoulders and rolled his eyes again. I’m shocked to see the type of people they hire at Applebee’s the fact that they allow their workers to harass their customers like that is disgusting. I had no intentions of drinking that until I got home and I simply wanted a straw for when I did. I complained about being harassed and they sent me a 10 gift certificate. Like.... really 10 dollars. Another insult.
Food wasnt that great. My 3 year olds food took almost an hour to arrive and also 30 minutes after my husband and I received ours. Not cool. Waitstaff was friendly but it seemed like 2 of the 10 people on staff were doing 90% of the work.
We havent been to Applebees in quite awhile. We normally go.to Chilis. But we figured, why not try something different.We were seated quite quickly, after all it was 6pm on a Friday. The woman/girl that met us at the door, was a little gruff. She was throwing a piece of paper away and missed and said oh well someone would pick it up, she was short and couldnt see where she tossed it.We said that we were meeting friends and she did a check on the seating chart and she would send them our way when they arrived. When they did arrive, she told our friends that she didnt know where we were seated and that they could go find us.The meal was very good, and the server was excellent. Maybe a better greeter would help this establishment fill up on a Friday night.
Sat at the bar, had a nice beer and a sandwich. Meat was overdone and tough, had the french dip, overall it was good. Ive never been interested in hearing about employees being disgruntled, or hearing the bartender say it wasnt worth it to work that day due to low tips. Or should I say thats not why Im there.

My son, sister and I eat dinner at Applebee’s for her birthday. The gentleman server who started our table was super nice and professional, he ended up having to leave for his Break and Trisha ended up taking care of us. She was awesome at clearing our plates and asking if we needed refills. My son ended up spilling his soda every where and she was right there to help clean up the mess! They both did a awesome job and the 3 of us will be back, and next we’ll take the kids cup with a lid that he offered us 😊 awesome job guys and keep up the good work!

Our server was so anxious she apologized for our appetizer taking too long 4 times in one minute. She told us she had no control of the kitchen twice. We had not complained. Then she charged us for drinks with the kids meals, which are included. We asked for them to be removed, and she argued with us that she had brought my nephew an adult sized drink, so it wasnt included. She made the choice to bring him a regular beverage, even though he ordered a kids meal (hes 8). When she brought the corrected bill she had not removed the charge for the drink on the other kids meal. Nobody received refills on their drinks. When I spoke with the manager to have the bill corrected a second time, she was hiding behind a wall instead of coming back to our table to get the bill. I have patience for a lot, but the manager was short with me, making excuses for the waitress. Just apologize and fix my bill, I dont need excuses. Also, the booths are way too tiny to fit 4 people plus a toddler in a high chair.
Yanno, Applebees is one of my favorite places to go out to eat and this trip to the Auburn restaurant was honestly my worst experience Ive ever had. Ive been to multiple Applebees all around and Ive never had such horrible service. They were out of Chicken, out of ribs, out of pasta. They never told me until we already started to order. So we proceed to order, the food came out and EVERYTHING that we have ordered there was something wrong with it or cold. Our waitress was not paying attention to anything we were saying and kept walking away. Not cool Applebees not cool 👎

This location is very clean and put together. The wait time isn’t long, I got seated as soon as I walked in. My only complaint was our waitress was not attentive, being the only mixed customers we were being watched every second. Not sure if this location had history of customers leaving on the bill but not everyone is like that and you guys have to get it together. Let’s say this was my first time at this specific location and I will not be returning.
I came with a large group of 6 kids and 4 adults. They were fast and friendly. They even took the time to sing for the birthday person(my 31 year old brother). The kids loved it and it embarrassed my brother(which is a plus for the other Adults). Lol. Definitely going to go back again.
Used car side to go, half my order was ready! Then waited 5 more minutes and noticed they didnt give me my bottled water either! On top of everything i payed $50 for a very small portions and had to call twice to fix my order!

Myself, I had chicken and shrimp combo, very good meal. Also had the ceaser salad, also very good. The waiter we had was very amiable, very outgoing. The drink I had was made very well(Makers Mark and club soda), overall would give them 4.9 stars, always try to strive for that little extra.
Good food, friendly service, happy atmosphere. They managed to keep this even through this pandemic. They social distance evryone when seating, use different entrances and exits to minimize contact. And sanitize evrything frequently. A great place to safely get out for once
Probably will never go back. Waited almost an hour for our food. Waitress went on break and never put our order in. When we did get our food, only burgers and fries, my fries were stone cold and my burger was not what I ordered. Waited 10 more minutes to get some mayo as their was no sauce or anything on my burger that was Supose to be on it. The bun I think had been sitting out all day as it was hard and not fresh at all! It was a horrible meal. Only good thing was due to the long wait the manager did not charge us for the meal. The man sitting behind us waited 15 minutes for a scoop of ice cream with some chocolate on it. They kept telling him the cooks were backed up thats why it was taking so long. What do u need to cook for ice cream?? Even though we got a free meal, I probably will never go back there again. Very bad experience!!

Hostess was inattentive and cold. Once shown to a table the waitress was very good. The food however was terrible. The appetizer was expensive and small. Four of us in the group and not one liked the food. The pork tacos were extremely salty with rubbery shells. The salad, they were out of some items so it was not really what was ordered. The two burgers were greasy and the rolls were stale. They arrived at the table with the rolls already split and as you tried to pick them up they crumbled. The kitchen staff couldnt have been unaware they were serving horrible, substandard food. This is their standards? We wont be back and would advise others to stay away. The hostess did not respond to us as we left, just stared at us.
While sitting at the bar you would think you would get better service. We sat down and got asked what would you like to drink we never got offered any of the featured drinks and the sign clearly said if we dont offer it then you get one of those drinks on them and when I asked the bartender he told me that it wasnt true that we already knew what we wanted, I would have loved to try the strawberry drink but the customer is wrong apparently. And this was after we sat about 20 minutes in front of our empty drink( our first drink) and empty plates and was never asked if we wanted another drink until another bartender came out.

We eat at Applebees in Auburn for lunch on a regular basis, we always have a wonderful lunch there great food and staff, all very friendly from hostess to server we always have Tiffany she is an absolutely sweetheart she always gives us great choices when we ask her opinion on dishes. Always a great visit, we also visit Applebees in Cicero, N.Y. frequently the manager Chris Holmes, is a wonderful manager always personally talking to all the customers ,very friendly and extremely pleasant in conversation, not fake, these restaurants are very well maintained always clean A++++
They had the air conditioning so cold that I was shivering. By the time I left, I couldnt feel my fingers. Not necessary to keep it that cold. Costs more to.operate it like that, and those expenses get passed on to the customer. Even my good was cold in a couple of minutes, especially the brocolli. Yuk.
We like Applebees and go there quite often. Our service is usually great especially when Heather or Jenna are our servers! The bathroom stinks though.

Food has gone downhill. Too many visits with something wrong with the food, typically that the food is cold. Manager is one of the worst Ive ever seen in a restaurant, hes rude and condescending to guests. Only come here because of a couple waiters who are always good to us and its one of the few places in town. Wish the manager would leave though, definitely doesnt make me or my family want to return.

My wife and I have been here 3 nights in a row food was good problem was it says if the waitress does not offer you a giftcard you get free cheese sticks never been offered I called spoke to a manager it was like he did not believe me. At almost 200 spent in 3 days we will just start going to chilis to bad we have lots of cash and eat out almost every night
Staff mostly rude. food great. Walked in one night no one to seat me. I sat down one waitress told I had to go back to the door very snotty. Another time I was getting take out wasnt a space for me. So I went in to pay. Staff were huddled together talking about movies while Im waving my money practically. Trying to get someones attention. The bar tender was very rude gave me attitude when I tried to tell him why I came in to pay.
Will never go there again. Walked in was seated right away in the bar area and sat there for about 20 minutes. There was 5 or 6 female waitress staff that walked passed us numerous times and not one stopped to say anything. Our menus were even closed and still not one approach. Finally decided to get up and leave. Some of the female staff there are rude and just stared at us. Absolutely ridiculous...
I found the service friendly and the bathroom clean. The free game apps were fun, especially the couples trivia games which my date and I played. The food was tasty and moderately priced. I especially enjoyed a specialty non-alcoholic drink with real fruit in it. The place has local sports team names, emblems, and athletes on its walls. I recognized my own alma mater Jordan Elbridge and the school I currently teach at. Casual and mildly campy. I like it.
Was super cold needed a jacket and the food is not as good as when they first opened. The steak is usually either too well done or burned, and the season on the french fries was so salty couldnt even eat them. The vegetables are usually cold or over done. Quality has gone way down
We usually go to Applebee’s because they always have food we all like. This one was the dirtiest ever. They sent out brown, slimy lettuce, and the wings were under cooked and swimming in sauce. And the young crowd at the bar was having a little bit too rowdy of a time with the barmaid and their language was not appropriate. The cook staff came out at the end of the night looking like a line up, I wanted to gag thinking they were the ones who just cooked my food.The only upside was the very nice server.
Auburn one food was good after a wine tour.
Some people hate Garlic. That is all that they have fore mashed potatpes. Dont like french fries. Down in the choices they have macaroni and cheese with bacon. They charge extra for that & it was supposed to come with the steak meal. They cooked every thing delicious but could put a little more vegetables on the plate. They dont put on the fat on you and they are good fore you.
Just went in for quick lunch with wife . French onion soup was very flavorful. New waitress Amy was awesome. Super friendly.
We had a great time our server was brittney c she was amazing amd on point . i suggest anyone who loves good food and a good time with an awesome server go to Applebees and request Brittany C.-kyle amd jenny jetty
The service was bad they cared more about the peopel at the bar than the peopel at the booths had to wait an hour and 15 min for are food and then half of are meals where hot and the other part was cold we wont be back
Only 3 stars because of mixed experiences. Some great, while some were so bad I wanted to strangle the server for being rude. BUT one server named Sean, tall, skinny, bald, EXTRENELY polite.He is the number one favorite of my wife and me. Always give a big tip for this guy. If you get him, your visit will be great, and nothing short of it.
For the most part food is good . Curbside ordering is convenient, but they do mix it up... the fire grilled shrimp is just that... black smoke on the outside and raw on the inside. The honey bbq chicken had no sauce and my potatoes were missing. Some extras ordered were missing, but after calling the manager sent me a $10 gift certificate.
This was a bad night. Took 45 minutes for our food. Waitress never brought our drinks. We had to hail someone else down. Paid full price for our meal and left tip with manager. Never given any discount just sorry. We were not pleased.
We all had a great meal, and the waitress was very helpful, we had our Granddaughter age 1, and Father-in-law age 88, the food was good and the service was good also. They took care of all ages and checked on us through-out our stay
First off let me say that our waitress was wonderful. The food well......first the cook messed up my wifes order and my food was cold. Got a nice case of food poisoning and ended up in a Walmart rest room for 20 min. Almost four hr lator and still dont feel comfortable getting to far from a rest room. Needless to say will avoid this applebees in the future.
It was alright. Definitely new way of dining with Covid-19 regulations for dining. Be sure to bring charged phone because thats the preferred way to view menus now; picture of barcode and viewing on your personal phone
Ive been to many Applebees and love the restaurant. However, the restaurant in Auburn is probably the worst Ive been too. Ive now received poor service from this establishment three times in the past 6 months. This includes being overcharged after my bill was fixed twice due to the mistake of our server (with no apology from the manager) and being seated at a table and not seeing our waitress for 45 minutes after repeated calling members of the staff over. I will not be returning for a 4th time.
Don’t eat here. They don’t cook there rice and never compensated me at all. Not wanting me to come back.

I tried the new wood fired grill butchers reserve 12oz top sirloin steak along with broccoli and rice with hearty grains. The steak was tasty, a little tougher than I was expecting and was done a little beyond the medium I requested. The hearty grains and rice was delicious. It had a few mushrooms and some other grains which I couldnt identify. The broccoli was a tad overdone for my taste (I prefer broccoli on the firmer side), however it was not over seasoned. My family was well attended to by our server. Overall it wad a good experience.
It was so cold in there, it was ridiculous. Service wasnt as good as it was on crowded times prior to COVID. The 2 entrees we had both were skimpy compared to previously. I probably wont be back for awhile.
They had the air conditioning on high, I think. Very cold. My husband and I had the grilled Turkey, ham and bacon sandwich with fries. Very messy to eat and the sauce was not that great. The staff was very nice.
Didnt give me my meal for pick up. Made me wait 20 minutes and drive back to get it after they remade” it. Then they give me a cold meal with th original order ticket L0L. Usually pretty fine though. /shrug
Like most chain restaurants, the difference is the staff in the restaurant. This Applebees has some of the best and nicest staff of any chain restaurant I have been in recently. The food is what you expect at Applebees, decent food at fair prices. Great service, and it is consistent, even with different people waiting on us.
Today was the best experience I have had at applebees in a minute. The waitress was excellent, checked on us the right amount, asked us how everything was/if we needed anything everytime she past by. If you are ever at the Auburn, NY Applebees request Ashley to be your waitress.
The food at Applebees used to be not great. I have found the quality to be much improved. Wish they had a better whiskey selection. All in all pretty good experience.
So I gave the waiter my order which was regular fried fish which comes with fries which I chose to replace with onion rings. I informed the waiter that I have shell fish allergies, he in return went and sent his manager out who refused to serve me fish, onion rings or fries because they dont have a separate fryer for whatever. So Im sitting at Applebees eating onion rings from Burgur king and thats my dinner.... Best Xmas shopping day ever!!!!!!!

Terrible!! This was the worst experience dining out. Cold burger and fries.. Made a mistake with salad dressing.. Was NEVER asked how anything was.. We had to flag a wait staff person down.. Only took the burger off the check.. But we stilI paid to much for lunch.
People were great fast and friendly. Food was great .I had the prim rib dip omg the best one I ever ate. The dip was a French onion soup and I drank it. It was amazing

10/30/2021. Extremely slow and understaffed. Many tables empty and yet weve waited over an hour for food.
Its a sports bar/restaurant chain, so pretty much anyone should know what to expect. Waitstaff here is on point however. Tip well if you go, these folks deserve it.
Good food dirty booths food and wrappers in the seat.Server is fast but never asked if I needed more to drink until the very end and I asked anyway.
I called for a party of 12 ahead of time for a heads up, was told no problem about a half an hour. After 50 mins of waiting I called Buffalo Wild Wings were they had a table for 12 waiting for us. Never again will I go to Applebees in Auburn.

It was ok had to wait for a table because of covid new rules put your name on a waiting list on line before you get there. Who knew.

I recommend hunger to visiting the a Auburn Applebees. Our food was undercooked, cold and not as described on the menu(My husband and I both ordered the American Standard burger well done, mine without onions his with them. Both burgers were red and had grilled onions under the cold cheese. Not to mention the mystery sauce. The few fries that had found a way onto the plates were cold and cardboard like) If you are going to charge $2.50 for 1 cup of bad coffee I should at least get a refill. Once our food arrived the waitress practically disappeared until it was time to pay. Go to a fast food joint if you are in the area and must eat. It will cost less and you wont be up that night getting sick!

You have to bring your own silverware to this location because it is their policy not to wash silverware before reusing it. This is our third and final trip to Applebees. We had to ask the waitress for clean knives and forks for three times today. Each time the silverware we were given was caked with other peoples food and no one apologized to us for it. And then when she brought the soup I ordered, the spoon was caked with food. It took 4 tries and 10 minutes to get a semi clean spoon that I cleaned myself with hand disinfectant and then the soup was cold. But, we were charged full price for this egregious treatment. Bye,bye Applebees.
Food is really good even though its a chain. Wouldve given 5 stars if our waitress forgot to tell us about the promotion, so i couldve gotten the free mozz sticks lol

Not enough help to serve patrons adequately, new special endless shrimp, chicken, ribs out of shrimp at 5:00 pm .dinners inconsistent in quality and quantity. Table was filthy.
I was surprised: menu showed no vegetarian offerrings. I asked waitress, who said there was one unlisted veggie dish: broccoli Alfredo. It turned out to be pasta, which arrived with chicken. It was eventually replaced with a very cheesey dish. Later I looked it up: more than 100% of daily sodium allowance, and more than half the allowance of sat.fat. With that as the healthy offerring, one wonders about the healthfulness of the rest of the menu.

Horrible we wanted a table seat and the very rude host would not let us sit at a table. Just a booth which are unconfortable we asked for a table ans were refused. The host was rude and when I called to complain the manager was rude and did not care that we left and went elsewhere. We use to go several times a month, we will never go again!!!

2022-01-01Applebees has a great diet menu. I like coming here when Im trying to lose weight. Also their texmex food is great. I enjoy their bar drinks, and the wide variety of platters they offer on their menu. The waiters and food servers are courteous and prices reasonable.

2021-10-11Dinner was great. It was a family bjrthday dinner and we had fun. It was not so crowded and busy, we were able to get seated upon arrival with no waiting period. Steak was juicy and tasty as well as the Buffalo boneless wings. Dessert was great and the drinks were ice cold and tasty. They seemed to be short-staffed(which Employer isnt in these post covid-19 era). But they still managed to give us the experience despite the server recently came off an auto accident and was still visibly bruised. We would not have known that she was in pains if she didnt tell us.

2022-04-03It was an outstanding Sunday dinner as a family. (which was not planned) There was a little bit of a wait to be seated, as well as for our food. However, there was eleven of us.I genuinely believe that is completely understandable for the inconvenience of the wait. Our waitress, and the staff were pleasant, professional, and made us all feel extremely comfortable. (right at home) Our drinks, as well as our food were correct, delicious, and well worth the wait. Thank you Applebees Grill & Bar!! Great Job!!

2022-03-16We knew what we wanted when we walked in.. asked if they had that new blue Margarita... by Dwyane Johnson with her attitude she told us no we dont have any new drinks here... opened the menu in front of her and in big bold letters it says NEW Blue Margarita brought to you by Dwayne The Rock Johnson... i ordered it. my wife attempted to order and this woman couldnt have been more rude. She came back with drinks and asked if we wanted food. my wife asked for black beans instead of beef on her nachos and the woman just argues. we have now asked for the check. i will spend ONE MORE DIME in this place... that will be her tip. 2022-05-09Food was good. Got curbside order. The reason for the low rating is none of the burgers were marked like they used to be. When ordering them different ways its hard to tell one from another. They used to be marked on the lid what it was. Some of the order was not the way we ordered it and no silverware. Sad to see they are going down hill.

2022-07-01We seldom eat out but decided to take a break cooking. We chose applebees in auburn. We both ordered a burger and fries. My husband ordered his medium rare. Mine medium well. They both came out almost 25 minutes later and were so overdone the edges all the way around were burnt and crispy. It was so cold in there we were very uncomfortable. We saw people at other tables putting sweaters on. It was not a good experience at all. I will cook dinner next time.

2022-05-16Went to Applebees for the second time in 3 months.The time after being seated the server never came to our table. Waited 15 minutes. Then walked out.Tonight was greeted at the door and promptly told short staffed. Waited about 12ish minutes then seated across from the bar in a booth. Server was prompt and pleasant. Gave her the order and we both ordered bar drinks. Well, my friend got her wine and was told my bahama mama would be right up.Was able to see the bartender and 10 minutes later she still hadnt even started my drink. Found our server and told her not to bother with the drink.when the bartender was told, she then offered to make it for free. Told her not to bother she was busy.My meal ended up being for free, but I dont think I will be going back.

2022-04-14I ordered Bourbon Steak dinner with no onions. They brought me out a Bourbon Chicken with onions. Im in radiation treatments for cancer I have to watch what I eat. Waitress took it back to replace the chicken for the steak I had ordered. This time the the steak is brought out setting on a pile of fried onions and mushrooms. There wasnt many people in there so there was no need to hurry our order. My wife ate meal while I waited for mine. Then when my meal came out, I had to eat my meal by myself. We to Applebees because it was a place to relax after getting Our Radiation treatments. At this time I wouldnt recommend the Auburn Applebees.

2022-03-10My friend and I ordered prime rib dip sandwiches. VERY SALTY!!!! We were told packet seasoning that comes with onions makes beef so salty. Worst meal I have ever had.Applebees. responded to my complaint. They are looking into the problem with the recipe. Management was very friendly and are working hard to correct the problem.
