The most disgraceful visit I have ever had with Applebees ever... Including the time that our waitress was flirting so badly with my bad he was eating and our food showed up 30 minutes after he was done eating! I tried to use the website to order dinner for my mom and dad. We are a family of diabetics and it is very important we eat about the same time every day due to medications. Your website told me that my card was declined. however the website then charged my credit card 3 times. I called the location to get it in check I talked to a manager that took the last four digits off the card and he did refund the amounts for all three charges. He took my number to call me back but hours later I have still not heard back. We called the order in because we were already late for our dinner. We got there a little early and waited for our food. When we got home to eat it many bits of the order were missing. The chicken platter came without the fries and the coleslaw. The BBQ sauce was also missing and one chicken finger short! We paid for ranch for the wings we ordered but no ranch or blue cheese! The artichoke dip was crusty we had to shave half an inch off the top to find some worth eating! Our beer pub pretzels were soggy the chips were greasy and the quesadilla was so dry and barely had anything in it! We have had other issues at this location and let me tell you enough is enough! I will be leaving this review on every possible platform!
I love Applebees and never have issues ordering from other locations. I usually get from the walden location as they are beyond accommodating, friendly and quick.Today I ordered from this one (Delaware) via Uber eats. There is no option to add extra (like sour cream) to my order or anything for that matter. So I call, after 20 rings it hangs up. Call again, hang up. Again, hang up. I tried different options too. So I have my driver go in and ask for extra and charge my card. Driver calls me and tells me they said I have to order it on the app. You dont think I tried that already? Like seriously people. Customer service is NOT that complicated. Get it together!Let me say this will be the LAST time I order from this location. Clearly incompetent workers who cant answer phones or communicate properly with delivery companies. Even if I could order on the app which you obviously know I çant or you wouldnt try and avoid doing your job, you act like adding a $0.25 extra sour cream is going to make Applebees go broke.
I only gave this place 4 Stars because they are a national chain restaurant. Dont look for quantity from them. But what you get is fairly tasty. I have not been to an Applebees in about 5 years, until tonight. Would I go back? Sure I would. But then again there are so many restaurants to choose from. Before I would pick the Applebees chain. On the plus side, our server was really good. And the food prices seemed very reasonable.

Food is good ONLY if your going inside to sit and eat. You get to see everything and check your food of coarse and speak with anyone regarding any wrongs.I don’t recommend take out AT ALL. I ordered the Steak cooked medium and Shrimp with Broccoli and cheese. Also a chicken salad. I ordered to go at 10:45pm and they were closing at 11pm. When I got home, my steak was cooked medium rare but usually if it’s an issue like that I will always cook it longer. But the Chicken salad came with NO CHICKEN. Was unable to call because they were closed. This not the first time the order was wrong. This happens all the time and I will no longer do Take out with them.
It was super quiet which was nice. Staff was very productive and friendly. Seated us right away. Got us our drinks and took our orders. Food was brought to the table in a very timely manner. The variety of food we ordered for a family of 8 was very well cooked, presentable and delicious.
If I could give this place a zero I would. I ordered fish and chips through Uber and that was all it came with. I tried to call numerous times to speak with the manager only to be hung up after waiting 10 minutes on the phone. They will NEVER get any business from me again!!!!!
The service we received tonight was the absolute worst service I have ever received in all my life. I’m not exaggerating by any means. Half the food wasn’t delivered to us and the food that was delivered successfully was either wrong or undercooked. When I called to speak to the manager about the issue the girl that answered the phone refused to let me speak to the manager and she said “the manager is busy with customers”. Well I’m a customer as well and she told me to call back in 20 minutes and “maybe” I can speak to him then. And she hung up on me. I will NEVER order from this location ever again. If anyone orders from this location beware your food might be undercooked and one day someone is going to violently ill.
No customer service from the moment we walked in, hostess seemed bothered and was very quiet, even if the tvs werent turned up far too loud, waitress was inattentive. People were complaining the bartender paid way more attention to the games then he did his patrons, not something I would normally care about since Im proud of not having alcohol in over 3 years but for some reason he decided to walk 2 drinks we never ordered all the way over to my table in the raised dining area and set them down infront of me. We didnt even get napkins or silverware till our appetizers were gone and our entrees were on the table but we asked for them, just like the refills we had to ask for and only got 1 when our bill and to go order showed up. And I almost forgot I was greeted by a fruit fly at my table and pestered by a housefly all night.
I used to eat here a lot but recently its not been up to par. Every time i order i have to double check to confirm my order is correct. which it has been incorrect the past 3 times Ive been there. the food quality has been low, my salad wasnt fresh. due to my order being incorrect and having to wait an extra 10, to most recently 20 minutes for my missing items my food in return became cold. overall my ordering experience has been inadequate. sadly we will not be coming back to this applebees
Very disappointed today. Waitress was new, took that into consideration. Meals came out minutes after our appetizer, which was different from the last time we had them, namely pretzels and beer cheese. These were bites and were over done. My steak in the south western steak bowl was also overcooked, I was not asked how I wanted it cooked. Spouses burger was smaller than we remember, too. Only thing not smaller was the bill!!
Ive always liked Applebees, even before they came to Buffalo. My daughter and I have always enjoyed the 2 for $20 menu (it has expanded to 2 for $20, 2 for $2?, and 2 for $29). She really enjoys being able to get an appetizer, a rare occurrence for a budget conscious Mom! We always have a nice time.
Went there today 11/18/21 around 2pm-4pm... - the highest worker alive was present. He stunk up the entire restaurant when he walked in. He was there for about a half hour and all that he accomplished was his covid face covering going from under his nose to under his chin. The bartenders present were high fiving him...further condoning his idiocy.He physically ran into my friend while they were walking near eachother and was so high he couldnt even grasp what he did. A little later- He threw something in the resturant and broke a light fixture on the ceiling (property damage under the influence).....After that - I spoke with the manager. His name is Justin....he tried to get out of the responsibility of the the situation by saying the guy just came in for his shift and he was in a meeting so he didnt know what was going on (of course ..like this kid doesnt show up every shift to the point of not being functional... and they just allow it) . ...I told him the worker had been on shift for at least a half hour and was acting ridiculous....Manager Justin then assessed the worker, lied and found nothing wrong. Thats ridiculous. This kid was so high out of his mind it wasnt funny. It was so pathetic and uncomfortable. These might be the highest of Applebees standards...so maybe go to Chilis or Fridays for lunch/dinner instead of Applebees.... Sad.

Waited for over an hour for pickup order. When I called to ask about it was placed on hold for 5 minutes. Walked in to see if they were actually checking on my order that they put me in hold for and they werent. The girl that was supposed to be on the phone looking up my order was just standing around not answering my call that she put me on hold for.. And I know it was the same girl because her name is Taylor. She then went to look in the kitchen and said they were finishing it up. 5 minutes later finally came out. Half of the order was Stone cold. Lets see if the manager is responsible and professional enough to refund me...
Apple bees is a very good restaurant 😋 I love it there but, when I went to lunch with my family Saturday 👪 the waitress brought my menus to me wet I had to dry them off the chairs were dirty and the dining room smells of mildew I was surprised because their one of the best restaurants in the area I usually leave a nice tip but, not for this day Im not sure what was wrong but, Ill choose another Applebees instead of delaware ave from now on buffalo,ny
I ordered our food on the phone and my order was not what I ordered. I ordered medium boneless wings and asked if they were hot and they were fire hot which I can not have. I also ordered a double order of mashed potatoes and received double French fries. I tried to call and make them aware of their mistakes and I couldn’t get through. Very disappointed and it’s not the first time. I won’t be eating here ever again. Moving on.
Just ordered a meal that was delivered by door dash in less than 15 minutes but door dash was not the problem. The problem was that I requested a medium rare steak which was raw and purple in the middle. I also ordered the broccoli with cheese on it. There was no cheese and the broccoli was cold. This order along with my girlfriends food was 64 dollars total. I was told that I can get a refund but since the order was too big they then said I cannot get a refund. And instead offered a coupon in the mail. Not going to this Applebee’s again the customer service was awful along with the food.
As I sit her , no condiments, and QR code for the menu. , 1st problem not every has a smart phone, then a complete other server brings our apitizer and our server has not given salt pepper, plates NOTHING. BOTH MANAGERS ARE STANDING BY THE DOOR DOING NOTIING. Never coming back her and yupp you guessed it , no tip. And Im a good tipper.
My friends and I had the best experience here thanks to Carissa! We came in a little late but she made us feel extremely welcomed. She was polite, pleasant and our food came out fast. She was clearly busy trying to help others and cleaning but she didn’t miss a beat. She even invited us back and we will definitely be back!
We showed up at the resteraunt at 9:20pm, the doors were locked. The Neon light in the window, see picture, says Open til midnight or later. I was able to walk in when a customer walked out. I questioned at the bar why they were closed when internet said until 11 and the lit sign. They answered me PreCovid and also told me that they have no control over the internet🤷♀️. All restrictions have been lifted. Many others came and left w no explanation at all. I get the staffing issues. But seems to me a sign would be nice. Bad business
So again the management has changed? And the Host who seated us said come on then proceeded to seat us at a dirty table with ice and liquid all over the booth seat. We asked for a different table and he treated us like we asked for a Kidney! He was also dressed in track pants with his underwear hanging out and Crocks with socks??? What ever happened to work attire being clean and polished. Not like your watching the bills game in your living room..... Lost my business for good
They burned both sides of my burger real bad. They served it to me anyways. You dont use a grill press to cook burgers. It Squeezes out all the flavor. Most cooks use it but only for a few minutes. But it was clear. The cook used it from beginning to end to cook my burger to faster to fox his mistake. Instead of having me wait an extra minute and be happy with my food. Thats why it was burned so bad on both sides. Number two. A waitresses job is not to just deliver food. It is their job to make sure the food coming out is perfect. Or at least the best it can be. Thats why they make tips. I was a waiter for years. I know the business. They failed me almost in every way. The hostess on the other hand was awesome. Quick to greet me. Big smile on her face and very pleasant person. Loved her green hair and big smile. Other then that. Everything sucked.
This restaurant need to upgrade their management system for customers pick up.Why are they sticking old method to handle customers pick up order? Using paper stickers in order bags, staff writes down orders name and check the kitchen Cmon! This is 2021.ppl dont want to wait more than half in hour to get their food.learn MacDonald. They display order numbers in moniter screen.U guys can do better than that.Ppl love yr food but waiting time is suck.
Lovely place to spend time with friends. I visited today with my friend and was greeted by this super cheerful woman named Sam. I requested for a window seat and she made sure that I got one. I really appreciate that. Employees like her takes customer service to another level.My server Angelica was very sweet too. Other staff was very friendly and made the whole dinner experience great.Five star for food and customer service ❤️
I know its a chain, so my hopes werent that high going in but it was still a disappointment. Long wait (still a mystery given the great restaurants only a few blocks away) and while the menu is large, the food was only adequate. The fries were limp. Just not a great meal.
Before covid we went to Applebees a lot. Its been a few months, and literally all the staff we knew were gone, and have been replaced by a bunch of 18-19 year olds who at best have no idea what theyre doing because theyre not being trained, and at worst are talking very blatantly and loudly about the WW2 atmosphere of how the place is managed. Shell shocked teens talking about how they got hired and thrown into the fray. I couldnt tell you why all the older, very friendly and competent staff have been removed, but I feel like it has something to do with the fact that the new workers dont seem like the type to complain about the conditions under Covid. I think more than half of them had their mask under their noses.This also isnt necessarily Applebees fault, but I did see a woman hit her two year old across the face before I walked in, and I think that is pretty exemplary of the Applebees experience.
I order from here a lot. This is the first time I got food that didn’t taste so good. The 50 dollars I spent on dinner tasted like a 5 dollar TV dinner from the frozen aisle. On top of that, I normally get a Pepsi with my meal, and it’s a decent size Pepsi, but for some reason I got a kiddy size drink... this was not worth a $50 dinner meal. The only good meal I got tonight was my appetizer.
This Applebees on Delaware tonight is horrible. Weve had two different waiters & that took 20 minutes to even get someone to come & wait on us. It took another 15-20 minutes for our waiter to come over & get the drink orders again/ silverware only to find out they cant make any shakes. People are walking out because theyre arent getting waited on & the Manger came out once to talk to the table in front of us this is sad & very disappointing.We ended up leaving the food came out cold & wrong the manger gave us the cold meal for free & some gift certificates for put troubles 😤😤😤🤬🤬🤬🤬
Wonderful staff. Nice waiters and waitresses. Nice location. I never have to wait long for a table and to be seated. I have never once had a complaint about my food. The $1 alcohol drink specials that last a month are great. This month for June is $1 Long Island Ice Teas. So far they have had $1 Margarita and other speciality drinks. The 2 for $20 dinner menu has a variety of selections.
Food was great, service was great. My 5 year old daughter ordered the chicken mac-n-cheese kids meal and didnt like it. The waitress happily replaced her meal and didnt charge us for the first one, even though my son and I ended up eating it. (It was delicious, even for a kids meal!)
Ok food this time. My husband and I come here often, food is always good any other time. This one visit though was extremely awkward. We got our appetizer AFTER getting our main meal which wasn’t even hot. Husband found a hair in the bottom of his margarita & was offered a new one but was skeptical about drinking from another cup, I would be too. Just an overall horrible experience this time around.
We ordered $50 dollars worth of food from Door Dash. Applebees sent the wrong food and then when I called back and told them the man who answered the phone said we had to order the right order and he refused to give us a refund.I asked to speak to aanager and he said his name was Kyle and he wants us to call Door Dash to get the refund. I work at a restaurant and the way they treated the situation was extremely disgusting. I will NEVER order from this ghetto restaurant again.
This has to be the worse location in the city of Buffalo. My order is never correct and the wait to receive my food was unreasonable as well. No one should have to wait two hours for an order then receive cold food that is not they way it was ordered over the phone. Management response was callus and not very customer service friendly. I was very disappointed in the service at this location. I will not be patronizing this location again total waste of my time and money.
Long Wait to pick upToo slow on pick up station. Every time i go there, i have to wait a long time.Unprofessional StuffThey do not know how to organize. Sometimes order is ready but, they dont even know its on the pick up table. Every time they say please wait about 5-10 mins.nothing personal just want to improve. 🙏
Just ordered dinner spent $70.. had it delivered by door dash no issues with door Dash but when I called Applebee’s to complain that I received the wrong food but the correct receipt.. I was told we don’t do refunds on door dash my question was what does door Dash have to do with you giving me the wrong food for part of my order he said he was sorry and that he would give me a $20 credit however I was not allowed to use that $20 credit with door Dash I would have to come into the restaurant and sit and eat. As we continue to eat the food realizing most of it was cold.french fries were not even one bit warm broccoli which was steamed so it should be hot that was also cold and my son steak was so tough you couldn’t even eat it so basically I just wasted $70 even though I got a credit for $20I probably will not use it don’t plan on going or ordering from there again!
As soon as we walked in there was an awful odor of just stale grease. We should of left at that moment, but didnt. The food wasnt that good. Our server was young and inexperienced, but tried. She was very nice and attentive. But that smell of stale or rotten fryer grease was so bad.

Came in on a Sunday evening with the family. The food was good. The waiter even helped us set up the meals too capitalize on the deals. The only reason its not a 5 stars cause our waiter went on lunch for a few mintues so just trying to find his replacement to help us was slightly difficult. But other then that it was fine
I go to this location no matter whatIts hit or miss. It was a miss this time. My server is always pleasant. If I have a issue, its the food. The server always tries to make it right.Joe was my server a few times, and is a pleasure to deal with. I also know the manager. I used to work with him a long time ago.I enjoy Applebees. So even if I dont have the greatest experience, I always go back.
The food is always going to be good but unfortunately the staff made me feel unwelcome it was my birthday and twice my friend had to go remind them. They dont honer the APPLEBEES club free app either so dont bother signing up. We sat at the bar and for the most part was ignored and the drinks were watered down heavily. All in all good place for maybe lunch hour during the work day if youre close but I dont recommend
It was good food. My brother and I made and quick dash to Applebees so we could eat before we had to go home (lmao Quick) and ordered a few things and it was great. Then we had to go bcs my brother had to be home... Basically we ordered milkshakes to go and they took longer than the food did. They were delicious though.
Wait time was ridiculous considering the restaurant wasnt even close to full. Told us 20 mins and took more like 40 (4 people in our group). Waiter brought our appetizer and forgot to bring our drinks until we asked about them. He was also not very attentive. Food was fine but not worth the hassle it had been to get it. Overall a very disappointing visit.
Applebees is a place where i usually go with my friends. we were always dte to eat at Applebees. but tonight, i and My friend ordered 2 for 29, 8 oz steak medium well and bourbon street grilled chicken.1st issue, the food took forever to come out.we got the app quickly but the main dish took approximately 25-30 mins.2nd issue, my friends medium well steak came out well done.my grilled chicken was burnt. every single bite i took, i didnt taste the chicken but bitter charcoal. i had to cut off the burnt surface, we were hungry and the waitress was very nice, therfore we ended up eating the food.lastly, couple flies were flying over around our section.Michelle was very nice to us. it was tough to tell her about the food.
I know its a new location and all but there were less than desirable meals being served. We had a meal that was cold even on the second time they brought it to the table. The burger was bland but filling. My table had two drinks that were sub optimal as well. The service was okay, but the food needs some work.
As the manager of the biggest roofing company in Buffalo it’s hard to have dinner with my son and his mom who works hard as well. So we meet at this Applebee’s at least three times a week . I must say we love coming here , from the tasty dinner to the good music . Best of all is the hospitality and service provided by Michael Jackson . He remembers what we order and periodically checks on us to ensure we are enjoying our meal . Thanks Jackson dinner was great tonight as it always is when you are there.
This was a terrible visit. The service was awful, the waitress was obviously in need of assistance. We all received our food at different times, by the time my food had arrived my son was finished with his meal and my plate was missing my fries, coleslaw and cocktail sauce. I had a total of 7 shrimp on a 15 to 16 inch platter all alone. Then when it was time to get the next round of our endless shrimp and riblets she gave me the steak when i had shrimp. I told her about it and she never fixed it so i just ate the dry sauceless bones. The next time she flew by us she brought to go containers and our bill. We never asked for the bill or the containers but i guess she wanted us to leave. Needless to say we left but we definitely will not go back either. #Terrible food and service.
Hostess andWaitress were very friendly. Female manager who brought food out wasnt. My son asked for BBQ sauce with his Chicken Fingers and got Honey Mustard. I asked for condiments on the side for my burger and had the burger served to me fully dressed. The place was pretty slow at the time so there really is excuse for the mistakes.
By far the best Applebees I have ever been to!!! Not usually a choice of mine however it was a crazy snow storm and every place else we tried to go to was closed so we ended up here. Staff all around was wonderful from the greeter to the server and the manager! Food was hot and delicious. I would definitely go back.
Ate dinner 07/18/16 @ 7:30pm. It was just me and the restaurant wasnt busy. I was greeted nicely, sat promptly and didnt have to wait for my waitress. Everyone was very nice but still, this restaurant only deserves 2 stars. The Strawberry lemonade wasnt stirred, the syrup was left in the bottom of the glass- I stirred it myself. The bartender was lacking in her knowledge of mixed drinks. The food took forever to come out- it was the very small portion of Pepper Crusted Steak and Whole Grains. I wanted the steak medium-rare; It came out medium well. I was not given a knife and couldnt get the attention of my server (I even used the little tablet to Call Server. I left the steak til the end and started eating everything else. The grains and tomatoes were great, the spinach had a mold/dirt/wet grass taste and smell. I put that off to the side and.... Still didnt have a knife, so I ate the steak bite for bite off of my fork. All in all I feel really disappointed with the quality of this Applebees. The people were super nice but... just lacking that special something that Im used to with other Applebees. I spent $20 there (just for me), didnt get a lot of food and walked away disappointed and hungry. I should have gone a little further down and had Andersons.
This,was an impromptu visit. It seems there was a dance recital nearby and the families made their way to Applebees after the recital. As a result it was a wee bit busier than we had expected.The food was good. The service a wee bit slow. And then we had the server tell us that we could order dessert via the electronic gizmo on the table. This didnt necessarily sit well with us. We want real customer service and not dessert via the electronic gizmo.Well be back and hope for better customer service.
#1 To many employees standing around socializing ant not doing nothing. Busy workers could have used more help from workers that were not doing anything at all. #2 food was terrible. Half fries over cooked. The other half not done..#3 pan handling man hanging around outside and allowed to come inside. To much unprofessionalism going on. I must admit the bartender was on point with her drinks.
I mean its applebees. Is reliably good for what it is. My 4 year old loves to go there for the electric device on the table. I like to pay for my meal that way, but I dont like when I get a miscellaneous charge for a game that my son played. I assumed everything was free being so child friendly. Or would at least have some fail safe before adding the charge.
Ive been going to this location for 6 or 7 years. I do believe the food is way better as well as the atmosphere. I ordered curbside to go and there was an honest mistake made in behalf of Applebees. The manager Chris came out and compensated my inconvenience accordingly. I truly appreciate this level of customer service and will be back to eat soon!
Fair burger. Cooked good. Roll nice. 1 tiny piece iceburg white in color, didnt peak out from under burger. Lettuce so small. Nice piece meaty tomato and red onion.Fries pushed down on plate and cold. If condiments werent on plate the bad presence of fries more noticable. For $11 Applebees can do better. If not they wont be in business 6 months from now? 5 guys, Burger King and Moes would happily take care of those customers.Server was very good.
Visited this location at 8:30 pm - Friday, September 23rd. While our server was friendly and efficient, the manager (I think he was? Never actually introduced himself) was very rude. We were billed for whole size appetizers instead of the 3 appetizer special. While he was able to give us a discount for the mistake, it took an argument to reach this point. Overhearing him talk to other staff about the situation at the register was also very upsetting. Upon receiving the new bill, he walked away as we were speaking to him. I appreciated the discounted bill, but his attitude and unprofessionalism towards us has turned us away as loyal customers. We do not plan to return.
Waitress was very innattentive. I had to ask another waitress to get my waitress. My order was supposed to have grilled shrimp on it but did not. No knife provided for my wifes chicken which was tough as was my pork chop. My green beans were rubbery. Broccoli was good.
The Loaded Potato Soup had so much cheese in it that it was like eating a bowl of melted cheddar cheese. I could barely move my spoon through how thick it was and every scoop left strings of cheese down to the soup. Waste of $6.00. The Ceasar Salad was low quality, waste of $5.00. The Won-Ton Tacos were quite good though. I also ordered Ribs which were made very well. The fries however were loaded with so much pepper they were inedible. Also ordered an alfredo pasta which tasted like a frozen dinner. The staff did their best but this chain just doesnt have good food for the most part. It is more of a bar. Oh also, they aired a complete replay of the Buffalo Bills playoff game loss... thats the last thing Buffalonians would want to see, i couldnt believe they would do that. Two stars.
Carside to go is a joke. Last time I did carside i waited 30 minutes after my appointed time. Today Ive been waiting over an hour after my appointed time. I get that its a holiday during a pandemic but there has been zero communication. If I didnt already pre pay I would of gave my business to Five Guys.
Was pretty busy, but definitely to be expected at 7 pm on a Friday. Was seated right away and told our waiter would be with us shortly. Fifteen minutes goes buy without seeing anyone, so we decided to use the presto machine to order an appetizer. The appetizer came before we even got a drink. The girl that brought the appetizers out was kind enough to take care of us because our waiter was on break. I understand taking a break, but if youre going to be gone for 30 min on a Friday night at prime time, get another waiter/waitress to cover that section. Got the 4 cheese macaroni with honey chicken tenders. It was just cavatappi with crummy cheese sauce and Tyson chicken tenders with some honey sauce on them. When the waiter on break came back he was very nice and courteous to my significant other, but kept forgetting that i was there. Would ask her what if she needed anything and didnt even look over my way. It was overpriced for what we got and the poor food quality. Service was delayed and certainly lacking attention to detail. This place used to be a lot better a few years ago.
Everything was scarce. We ordered house salads and they usually come with bacon bits and we had to remind or waitress and she brought out a small cup full. Then we needed extra ranch and the waitress brought out two bigger cup fulls. One of these cups had dust all over it so we shared one. Then we also did not have silverware. We requested or waitress through the presto device but she didnt come for five minutes although she was sitting across the room. Usually its way better however this time or experience was quite mediocre.
We had a terrible experience at the Applebees on Delaware. The wait staff was unattentive, with the exception of the manager, especially our waitress who seemed to be unaware of her surroundings / job responsibilities. She was unaware she needed to bring us the drinks we ordered and when asked to bring condiments, it seemed to completely slip her mind. All this could have been understood if not for a member of the wait staff sitting behind us having conversations with his girlfriend with his speaker phone on blast. I would recommend in the future not sitting your customers next to the break table.
First and foremost, the driver was AWESOME! Found me quick and didnt even have to call. Give the driver 5 stars. My issues are with Applebees. No plastic wear, no napkins. Even though I specified in the order that I was in a tractor trailer, and had yall deliver it to The Home Depot. Then once I was able to get ahold of an eating utensil (I had to ask someone who was in the drive thru at Popeyes to get me one) the food was definitely subpar for Applebees. Maybe its a Buffalo thing. Maybe its a Rona thing. But the portion of potatoes I was given was smaller than the lunch lady in middle school used to give me. And I didnt have to pay her $40 for them either. Then the broccoli was dry and wilted, like it had gangrene or something. Seriously. Can broccoli get gangrene? Should I get tested? The steak was decent. Although it had a funny taste, probably because I had to use an utility knife to cut it, because Applebees in Buffalo is ghetto AF, and will charge you $40 for 40 cents worth of potatoes and cant even spare a plastic fork and a napkin. Got me sitting here missing school lunch from 20 years ago. Unless, thats the reason why my broccoli had gangrene. Cuz it was leftovers from the school lunch, 20 years ago.
I enjoy it there but when I use the carside to go Im always given about 1/3 of the overall food Id get from ordering in and staying there, which makes no sense considering Ive paid the same price.I also have the same problem as Kristina Premo, as well, most every time.
I will be calling Corporate!!!!!!Michelle is the worst Applebee’s server , I have never been to a restaurant where the servers confront you after a horrible experience made by them. Normally they want to ensure that you and your family enjoy their experience. However , Michelle was tremendously rude to me an my family. She checked on us one time . She overcharged another table with orders we never made and she failed to let her manager know.Then as I was leaving with my grandma an mom, she yelled at us about how her customers love her. However I am confused because she works for Applebee’s, she doesn’t own it , yet she acted as if she did. I tried to complain to the manager about how she got our entire order wrong but she pulled him to the side and interrupted me as I was expressing my complaint. We did not tip Michelle because she was rude , impatient, and not trustworthy. She definitely needs to be retrained an reprimanded. I even asked her about drink specials , she said that Applebee’s didn’t have any, yet since I always go to Applebee’s in Georgia and order the 1.00 margaritas, I knew she was unethical an unprofessional from the beginning.My grandma couldn’t eat the chicken appetizer which is why we didn’t want the riblets on the two for 20 and she still charged us for it after we cancelled it. What kind of human being does this to another person’s family. I am beyond done with this Applebee’s location.can’t believe my family and I were charged 59.00 and not even given apology or a refund for the overall experience.Sincerely Annette and Amber. Disappointed over all Amanda and Krista were very good and attentive. The riblets were terrible. Just awful flavor reheated mystery meat i didnt complain but i should have. When i was asked how they were i said just okay. I probably should of told them how bad tasting they were. This was a promotional that is running for all you can eat riblets,chicken tenders or shrimp. The other two choices were fine and all three are served with fries and the riblets also have a little bit of cole slaw. There were some interesting drink specials but i didnt partake in the alcoholic beverages.
Its not like how it used to be. Me and my girl used to din here every other month until we moved. We came back after 5 years and it turned around to the worst. Tables are dirty, it smelled like roten eggs, the floors are dirty, the seats had crumbs all over it. The food was off. I dont think its good to eat here.
They actually cut back on the fry quality and almost doubled the price just to compete with everyone else! Whats the difference between them and McDonalds fries? Someone tell me. Average burger. Overpriced cheese sticks. No craft beers. My rating was so kind.Dont fall victim to these sideways sucking has-beens that rate 2 places and accept the email making them an official guide.
The food was very good and the service extemely friendly , it seemed like everyone was in a great mood, enjpyed the chicken wrap , my wife had club sandwich and mashed potatoes it was a pleasant visit , then i had to go to work oh well at least enjoyedca nice lunch with my wife
I had a horrible experience. I called ahead for carside to go and they told me it would be done In 15 minutes. When I arrived there were about 6 employees outside near the entrance to car side to go smoking and I waited for a half an hour. I was told on the phone they would bring out the food when ready. I went in After waiting to see what was the hold up only to find my food was sitting there cold. They didnt even seem to care i was left waiting for so long.!I would maybe give some slack if they were busy, but they were not. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Took my daughter out for her birthday dinner and the experience was a disaster. The customer service displayed by our waitress and MANAGER was horrible. My mother ordered her meal with specific instructions and it was not prepared properly...my daughters chicken was cold...our meals were brought out over a half hour period...half of us were done eating by the time the rest of us got our food...when the manager and the waitress were talked to about various issues we had, they either rolled their eyes or just walked away from us while we were in mid sentence. ..My mother never even ate a meal. She did not want onions on the quesadilla , and all the manager said was I will take it off the bill. He didnt say ok, I will fix it. The customer service was appalling, will never frequent this chain of restaurants again! It was one of our favorites.
I always have had a good experience at this applebees until last night. The waitress mixed up a bunch of tables, by the time my food came out I just ended up taking it home. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and it came out without toppings so I had to put the toppings on. When I did eat the sandwich I found that the chicken wasnt even done all the way. I dont want to eat at this location ever again.
My fiance and I have been so busy recently with wedding planning on house preparations that we decided to go out to eat. We got to the restaurant and in our seats. The waitress came over and got us our drinks. Then....we waited 30 minutes and had to go grab her to let her know that we were pretty hungry and ready to eat. We ordered the beer pretzel app. We asked how pretzels came with it and she said 2...so we ordered another plate of them. Got our pretzels and we had 4 on each plate...way to know the menu and get $8 out of us. Then I ordered a mojito. The waitress came back with a drink that had sprite and water (not even a joke). No alcohol in it at all. I told her that this was the worst thing that Ive ever tasted and she goes well yeah, we dont have any mint but thought youd enjoy this still. Mint and alcohol (in my understanding) is a VERY key ingredient lol. So, to summarize, the worst Applebees I have ever been to and I have no intention of ever going back there. Which is a shame because I love so close to it.
Small portions and prices higher than before. Took my daughter here for her 14th birthday. If you like fries with your salt, then I guess its OK. Its not easy to remove excess salt. Staff are OK though. Its just the food thats cooked wrong. Mr Manager. You dont get it do you?Its not just the food, but smaller portions for higher prices.Also. Why shout I have to tell you that there is 3 times the salt on the fries than the previous time?I dont much like Mc Donalds, but I can get twice the amount of salty fries for half the price there.Also, The glass of draft beer has gotten much smaller for the price.We used to go to Applebees 2 or 3 times a month.Past 3 times have been disappointing.Sorry to say this, but there are many restaurants in the neighborhood that give better, and more food for the price
Having worked in food service I truly hate to complain but I was very disappointed on Wednesday night I went with a date and the waitress Anna (Brianna) was very sarcastic and rude and flirtatious with my date...aside from that I asked not to have strawberries in my strawberry lemonade and my date did ,however, the waitress completely ignored me and gave me a drink with strawberries anyways and also my date and I ordered red potatoes with both our meals and we were served mashed potatoes!!! The waitress was rude, the orders were incorrect and the food was cold ! Its ashamed because I usually enjoy applebees but I will never ever return here again. Ever Never! If the manager reads this please explain to Ms Anna that there is a difference between friendly customer service and FLIRTING that is a big no no and wl get you hurt doing it to th wrong persons man
If youre into chain restaurants Applebees is a good choice. But with so many privately owned restaurants in the Buffalo area it is not my first choice! When we receive a gift card we have never been disappointed, theres a great variety of food but the atmosphere is a little bit too loud for this old chick.

2021-11-19Today 11/18/21, my food wasnt that good. It wasnt right. I asked for my burger quesadillas to be well done and when I saw this I lost my appetite. 😭 I always order spinach artichokes dip and this time the chips were greasy and chewy like they took old chips and throw them in grease to warm them up. Still, I left my tips as always. Hope they do better next time.

The chicken was under cooked and the shrimp was over cook rubbery. I wont ever dine here a waste of time and money. Im still hungry. Overall service is terrible

2022-07-01Hey I love eating good in the neighborhood. Great experience and salty, yet tasty food. My only complaint is the waitress didn’t offer a doggie bag. I ordered 5 half priced apps and I wasn’t finished with my chicken strips when she took my plate away. I’m no Joey chestnut but I could have finished those chicken strips. I can’t believe it. If it wasn’t for my severe social anxiety I would have slapped her hand away. Over all great experience. Would do it again. Just let me finish my food!!

2022-04-10Today service was horrible. And its usually not like this. Waited over 45 minutes to an hour for my food. I received half of my order. Never got the rest of it. They forgot about it. Waitress never came and checked on our table. My friend who was with me her sons food was burnt and chicken over cooked and Never received our drink orders. The manager did take care of the bill so thats a plus. Hopefully the service is better next time. If it will be a next time.

2022-04-23Seating wait time wasnt too long. Our table wobble alot so they was able to get it steady with a bunch of napkins. Some of our food order was messed up but the waitress was quick to get it corrected. It still good for a quick dinner.

2022-04-02I ordered the bourban shrimp and chicken. Disappointed! Thin slice of chicken and the mashed potatoes were burnt to a black char on the plate, not good at all. however our waitress Jolene was very pleasant.
