Weve been to various Applebees over the years.We were here this time while we were celebrating our anniversary. We were greeted and seated right away.All the staff were so nice and the food was wonderful. This is why were repeat customers.
Service was prompt, local delicious IPA served ice cold!! Waitress was very sweet and attentive! Appetizers were delicious and arrived quickly ! Main course was also delicious and on point! Extremely satisfied customer and will be back frequently!!!
We had a really great experience here! Its a block from home and we have been to other locations but this one is fantastic! We had a server that was very pleasant, he was attentive but not suffocating and was consistently making sure we were comfortable and taken care of through the whole visit even though he was running the bar and tables. Very polite, very hard working, and just an all around great server. Food was really good too. We had been to other locations and were not impressed with the food but food and drinks here were great! Will come here again definitely! For our first dining out experience since covid I would recommend!

This location was nice and clean. I liked that there were different football games to watch. The service was a little slow but good. The appetizers were a little disappointing because of how many you get for the price. They were very tasty 😋 just not enough in my opinion. I’d definitely come back here again. Stay lit 🔥
Its Applebees. Its average. Below average at times. This one was just what I would expect. Burgers were too greasy and not good. Nachos were solid.
Waited 20 minutes for my food tonight in the curbside parking due to them being backed up which I understand, whatever, things happen. But whats unacceptable is the food being COLD after I waited that long.

Dependably consistent food. Friendly staff.Just not my first choice for dinner. It was close to the hotel, and less crowded, noisy and expensive than The Sonoma Grill😉)The 2 for $31 was good (hubby had the steak, I had the chicken and shrimp.) Garlic mashed potatoes was delicious. Salad was larger than expected. Onion rings were crunchy and hot, just too oily for this old geezer👵🏽😆

It’s Saturday I understand it’s busy but come on now. Some of the staff is completely unprofessional I spoke to Erin. Told her I had to place an order “GIMME A FEW” puts me on hold. Somehow I kept getting hung up on! I’m so tired of always having an issue with this location. Madison then answered and placed me on hold 3x. I placed an order over the phone and i was really told over the phone I had to be there in two minutes. WHO SAYS THAT!!!! Last week I had tried to place an order and the Lied saying they close at 11pm when in fact they close at 12am . 2/5 recommend prices are good just cause constantly dealing with unprofessional people. It’s very frustrating when I’m a LOYAL CUSTOMER!

Im not one to write reviews but I felt like this was necessary I have always gone to Applebees Grill & Bar and for the most part Ive had nothing the great customer service but today was an exception had a server today I believe her name is Summer we were very patient with her I am never one to Rush anyone but the fact that we had to wait 15 minutes for a check 10 minutes to actually leave is unbelievable I saw her count her tips and gather all of her things while speaking to another person we made eye contact twice and I was still waiting someone else actually had to call her over so that I could pay and leave. I believe a customer service is above any thing and I was very disappointed with my service today.

Okay understanding of the shortage of people that want to work here I get it. I work in food service. It can be hectic at times. Applebees you gotta treat your employees better. Feed them. Give them breaks. Let them go to the bathroom. No need to hire people from the streets. Our server Daniel needed some help. He was clearly new and not trained properly. No one should be afraid of a table and be running away from them when they need you.
Our waitress was great! But the fact that they still seat you with 25 minutes before closing and still try to rush you out when your food got there 5 minutes before closing is stupid! Either stop seating earlier or let us finish our food in peace.
The absolute worst experience I have ever bad in a restaurant. Drinks came after meals finish because bartender went missing? We asked to see the manager and he still charged us even for drinks we never received. He also took a long time to come see us. They restaurant had maybe 30 people and not very busy. Also, the bartender and other staff had masks on below their noses and kept touching their face and picking up glasses by the rim. Just horrible customer service and hygiene. Shocking
Hostess couldnt decide where we need to sit. I had a cane and limped quite a bit but she had directed us to the opposite side to a crowded corner. NO! Then she took us back to the front again so she could help 2 more groups as we stood there. WHEW! She then sent us to a table just 4 tables in. We needed menus, so on her way past us with another couple, she tossed a menu at me. The foodserver was SO GOOD that it eased the sting of the hostess! Were from Las Vegas and fans of Applebes! We wont hold it against the company, but to a (tired, angry, maybe not feeling well) hostess on a bad Thursday night.

We came in to dine, pay and tip.We got seated. Sat for over 5mins with no menus. Again, with staff walking back and forth.We got up. We walked out.Applebee’s DO BETTER.I would not recommend anyone eats here. AGAIN, DO NOT EAT HERE. Take it from a certified Google reviewer.

I Had the asian chili wings for an appetizer and the quesadilla burger for the main course .They were both cooked the way i wanted and were very good .The staff was very friendly and kept checking to see if i needed anything.I will go back.
I come to this unique place from time to time since I love the good mood that is unique to this place. The team is extremely loving and professional. The service is exceptionally rapid. Needless to say, the food they cook is outstanding. I visited many times and I was always satisfied. The pay is decent. I highly suggest this restaurant to to all.
Not busy. Weeknight. 5:30. Food and service terrible. Got a 2 for $22. Free refills on soda. Salads were drenched in dressing. Couldnt find waitress. Wanted to ask for refill on drink. Halfway done with salads and entrees come out. Couldnt find waitress. Entrees lukewarm by the time we started them. Still cant find waitress. Finally wave her down to ask for refill. Disappears. Comes out of kitchen a few minutes later with someones dessert but..... no refill. Sees me see her. Turns around and goes back into kitchen. Finally returns with refill. Horrible service for shabby food. Wont be back.

No delivery after I gave credit info!! They could not help me with a silly order of 2 things! Lol yea I checked. My credit info was ok. The website is NOT friendly. Ok t would be fine and worked for another restaurant but not for Applebee’s. Done I tried 4. times and nada. And no link to talk to a human!! Sure it would have been fine then. I do not recommend them for a pick up/ delivery ! Good bye Applebee’s.
Worst steak Ive ever had in my life!
Only came for drinks but that lead to food and my overall experience was great. I even think higher of Applebees as a whole after my one time here so I hope it wasnt a fluke. Place could easily seat any size party you bring and service was great. Would recommend to a friend.
Ive been to this location twice. The first time I went with a bunch of friends and the food was great. This previous time, the food was also good but there was a small issue.The second time, we were seated and waited for 20 minutes with no waiter or waitress coming. It got to the point where we had to get up and ask for a waiter. The person who was supposed to wait on us apparently didnt know we were part of his area to wait on. The food came in a good amount of time, and everything tasted great. The wait staff was very friendly, he just didnt quite know what he was doing.I like this place, but this experience has made me give it 4 stars.
Had a good time, Great atmosphere and the bartender knew what she was doing. We had the wings and chicken nachos. Nothing crazy, but we did have order the nachos with a dozen grilled shrimp on top. Making them chicken and shrimp nachos, delicious.The shrimp were perfectly seasoned and not overcooked. Try it.
Looking for a light meal. Sat at the bar and very impressed with Caitlin. This lady really hustles. Mixing drinks for floor staff, serving drinks and taking food orders for customers at the bar and maintaining a very friendly interface with her customers. there is a noisy vibe to the place with good food and fair pricing. The food is blah but that’s expected from a chain diner. I always get bad service when I come In here and it’s pretty clear it’s because I’m brown, they never wait our table and the vanilla faces that work here conveniently mess up our orders. In 2020 this is feet we Deal with
Horrible service. The servers are literally looking at us and ignoring us. Came In waited 10 minutes before they even asked if we wanted water! Food was alright, but the horrendous service ruined what could have been a nice evening.
My husband and I get take out here frequently. We also also eat here occasionally together or with family and the food is generally good and the appetizers as well. But the last few times we ordered take out, items were missing from our order. It wasn’t discovered until my husband got home with the food. This is quite frustrating. The last time it was an appetizer of the spinach and artichoke dip. Another time it was another appetizer the beer pretzels with dips. This has happened 4 times now. It really is a shame. We’ve been loyal customers since they opened. But the take out service has really gone down hill. I told him maybe it’s time to go to TJIF’s across the street. The food and appetizers there are excellent too!
I went there on a Sunday and it was busy. However, I got a quick meal and the food came out quick and the service was expedient. Would reccemond for a decent price meal and a pleasant place to watch football.
Food was pretty good, service was lackluster. Server only came three times - once to take our order, once to deliver the food, and once to check on us before we’d even taken a bite of our food. We had empty drink cups that were never filled.However, we did have separate checks and paying on the tableside tablet is a good move for the company. It saves time and doesn’t require attention from the servers.

This was our first visit to this location, we were not disappointed.. we were greeted at the door and seated immediately. Our server was extremely friendly and prompt. The food was excellent, we ordered from the 2 for $20 menu. Definitely will be going back whenever we are in town visiting family
The place was clean and there was a lull I guess since we must have been only the fourth party there. I ordered the Bacon cheddar grilled chicken sandwich with fries and a Pepsi. It was delicious the fries were nice and hot and crispy. I would definitely recommend it and order it again.
I love Applebees and this location was very busy but the staff seem to handle it well and it has a nice flow. I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted and served! I love the French onion soup and the salmon with broccoli and sometimes fries! For the desert this location has the Blondie which is a white brownie with a scoop of ice cream and a maple icing topping which is so delicious! I highly recommend this location!
The classic combo app dish was much worse quality than getting the actual apps that were part of the dish. The 5 dollar cocktails were very good though

Kevin was an amazing awesome server. Great with my daughter made her very happy. Brought the drinks right away and took our order it came out perfect. Came back a few times to make sure everything was to our liking. The food was great my wife and I love the nachos appetizer its phenomenal. Best nachos ever. Better then any Mexican restaurant in the area. Dinner was great too. If your at applebees ask to be in Kevins section it will make your dinning experience more enjoyable.
Boneless buffalo Chicken was perfect, juicy chicken, crunchy outside, spicy sauce with a little bit of sweet on the tip of your tongue .
Not sure what happened to Applebees. Used to be so much better. I had a chicken sandwich, it was on a mushed sandwich roll, in fact all of our food presentation wise was terrible. Waitress wasnt bad, but wasnt good either. When people are ready to leave, we want to get the bill, pay and get our change/sign cc slip, within 5 minutes. I hate having to wait, and I shouldnt have to. This place is good for kids, since theyll eat just about anything, and they can play the tablet games on the table while they wait (for a fee of $1, which seems totally unnecessary to charge at all if its only a dollar).
Went there to celebrate my nephews birthday. Our server was great, very, very patient with our large table. The food choices are very limited if you are trying for low calories. The burger was ordered med rare, came out dead...manager came over they brought new one, was perfect 2nd time. My mom ordered parmesan chicken, it was very dry and tough. They ended up offering her a new meal, she got the chicken tenders , they were better.
We have to wait for our food more than one hour .The place was empty . One of the kid fall an sleep. Anyway we were 10 people. Worst experience ever. Food was cold. My mashed potatoes had hard surface on it , i am guessing it was sitting in the heating station long time. Fries were cold. At the end we all agree one thing thatNEVER AGAIN !!!
Mediocore food with poor service. Sign on the board when you walk in stated $3 off any steak entree. Ordered a 12oz rib eye with 2 sides. The rest of table received the food at which point I was notified my meal had been given to someone else and needed to be cooked again. I said not a problem , food cane out later with a wrong side. Upon receiving the bill I inquired about the discount on the steak. The waitress said yes and then came back saying the manager stated it does not apply to the rib eye even though the sign stated all steak entrees.
They gave our table away to someone else. We waited 20 minutes to be waited on only because we got the manager. Our food was then give to another table we then had to wait another 30 min for our dinner... then they tried to add a game purchase to our order. Like not today!! This place sucks!! Never again
The environment was great but I had a terrible waiter! I told him that I ordered a milkshake with liquor and they didn’t add the liquor, and he responded with a slick comment that he seen it was added. I had no reason to lie, and he ruined my experience there. I now go across the street and spend my hard earned money there...Plus the place across the street has half priced appetizers!

Service was decent I guess. Food was not good. The pretzel app was dried up like it was made an hour previous and was under a heat lamp. Had the ribs and they were also very dried out. Fall of the bone moist?... Not even close. Also way over priced. I wont be going back to this Applebees or any for that matter. Go across the street to Fridays.
We had to get up and walk to the back to get our plating and silverware. We also had to get up to go give our own drink order and our own food order. We had to get our own refills. Our server continously walked past our table to serve those around us. We asked the manager what was up with that. He proceeded to give one of us a $10 gift certificate, said sorry and walked away. We stupidly still left a tip.
Usually a let down i only visit because my 3 year old loves it like most children love McDonalds. It was the first time it wasnt unbearable. The waitress was nice but the food is of poor quality and the presentation mediocre as usual. But that is her fav place so i am stuck until the next craze.
Got take out and the food quality was passable, not great. The reason I have to dock some stars is they forgot to put an entire meal in the bag and I had to drive back to get it. Kind of my fault, probably shouldve checked the bag - but they read off all the contents of the order so idk. Overall not a great experience, but not awful either.

As someone whose been in the restaurant biz for a decade Im A little disappointed tbh. Everytime I go there past 10 the margaritas are straight sour mix, and when I ask for salt ALL AROUND THE RIM, they never seem to understand what I mean, I get patches of salt on either side of the glass. Having to ask for lemons 4 times is a little unacceptable when the server has 2 tables. And 15 minutes for one beer is wild. 🤷♀️ maybe its just me, but Im sad. Food was great tho.

Nice staff...food is way too salty!! You have tell them leave off the seasoning!! My moms steak was too tough, they gave her a new dinner ! She did not expect that at all. But the second dinner was salty , salty everything!

This is a pretty good restaurant. As far as the interior and atmosphere goes, it has the typical sports bar/ casual dining room look that most applebees have. The service was good and the food was pretty good as well. The burger was very good but I have had better, in fact the burger tasted very similar to a Chilis burger. However I liked the french fries at applebees more than at chilis. One thing to note though is that they dont have sweet potato fries. Overall it was a satisfying experience. Nice for a little family dinner.
Made me extremely sick on my birthday, they also thought sticking 10 of us in a tiny corner table would work out but it was so cramped we could barely lift our arms to grab our drinks! If you ask me this place is a big NOPE and if you want a good applebees go to the one im miller place.

Food is okay overall. I got the all you can eat special (tenders, riblets and shrimp) and they gypped me on the subsequent servings, as is normal procedure apparently. Went from 6 to 3 tenders. Needless to say, Im mad. Server was very polite

Very typical for an Applebees restaurant. Our server was excellent & all food came out as expected. The best deal you can get is the 2 for $20 meal deal. My go to is the spinach artichoke dip appetizer & steak + sides for main course (which is a little extra $$). Ive always loved their Garlic Mashed Potatoes & green beans for my sides.
We were there just before valentines day as 5 people. we waited a little longer at the entrance to get the table but the service and taste of food were good. so everybody enjoyed the time and meal.

Last night was a bad night for the chef and staff I felt. Service was sluggish, the food not at its best. Most other times food is great and service is good.
My wife and I experience at this particular Applebees was a bad one. My wife asked for a Peach Ice Tea. It tasted horrible. It was straight syrup. I asked for a Long Island Ice Tea and it tasted like there was barely alcohol in it. I might as well have drinking water. We ordered chicken wings, they were barely hot, more like luke warm. Some were a little red on the inside. I ordered the Brunch Burger, something Ive had at other Applebees and was good. Unfortunately at this location it was the opposite. This burger comes with Bacon and Hash Brown on it. Needless to say there was a piece, yes a PIECE, of bacon on it no bigger than my pinky. The Hash Brown was barely there as well, that seemed like it was sprinkled on. Its almost like they did this on purpose so that people pay the extra dollar or two for more. Next up is the bun they used for the burger. It was like they went across the street to Stop n Shop and bought the cheapest buns there. The buns broke apart right away after one bite. The burger also comes with a side of fries. I should have gone across the street to McDonalds for an order of small fries because I would have gotten more. The amount of fries I got was equivalent to if a baby grabbed a handful. As I type this my wife is in the bathroom blowing it up. We will never come back to this location.

The Entrance was very dirty when we walked in the door .brought to our table .another of food on the ground under our Table .hadnt been cleaned from previous customers. Waiter took order .when he came with food .he left the table .no forks or knives .I had to ask for utensils. No napkins given either .food was good .but the staff was not .

Came to this location after I drove from Nashville Tennessee I had A pick up order I came in and was not allowed to get my food and was told to leave because I did not have a mask on I understand the pandemic but it is a sit down restaurant and I was not the only one without a mask there was team members not wearing a mask and they were horribly rude while telling me this never go to this spot seems like they did not just want to do their job when I came in there was staff member sitting down at the table like the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time I came in extremely rude people

Never been to Applebees as someone once told me its for old people? But I werent due to outs location to where I was working and the other guys wanted to go and I wad pleasantly surprised. Decent price, has beer and the food tastes how youd expect from a restaurant like this. I liken it to chillis but I still prefer them over Applebees. If it was the only restaurant in the area I would still be happy with that.

Had Nick at Carside today he was great took care of me made sure all my food was there. The entire Carside service in the Farmingville Applebees should be commended for what a great job they do all the time fantastic Applebees. Its worth going out of your way for.
The food at this chain is only so, so, but as far as Applebees goes it was pretty good. The initial service was fast, but the guy went away ans the second girl messed up our bills. That was a little unfortunate, but no biggie. Overall, it was pretty ok.

Its always crowded so we went to Chilis instead and saved a load of money. I usually spend about $45-$50 at Applebees but i fed myself and my friend for under $30.00. And i even had food to bring home. So try the 2 for $22.00 you wont be disappointed.
Food was awful, I ordered Bourbon street chicken and shrimp with a salad, also strawberry lemonade. Everything was a disaster, including the simple salad.
Great food but not so great of a selection of gluten and dairy free options. Chrissy and Brianna were the best servers/bartenders! Decent pricing for decent food!

Tonight we all got to experience a wonderful dinner at Applebees. Our easier DN was excellent in his service and delivery if the dinners, not rushing out appetizers.For appetizers were had the hot and crunchy mozzarella sticks with a nice warm marinara sauce. We also had the artichoke dip which we delicious as well.For dinner we head the bourbon bacon burger...awesome, the Thai shrimp salad with peanut sauce and lemon vinegarette, firecracker shrimp with past and the Bourbon st. Shrimp.All dishes were very plentiful and delicious. Dan was awesome with his service and the manager Faysal stopped by to check in on us, making sure that all was perfect.Great job!!
The service here is hit or miss. Sometimes we get really rude girls to serve us and other times we get very friendly waiters and waitresses. The bartenders are always nice.
Food was amazingly good but the service was not.

I grew up with this Applebee’s in my home town, needs some updating but is always very busy. Standard Applebee’s vibe nothing out of the ordinary. Food is out pretty quick once ordered

Terrible Car Side Food Prep! Twice now!Ordered a medium rare sirloin (the first time I ordered medium and they gave me shoe-leather!) ... shoes leather again!Ordered a Grilled chicken salad, got a few slices of grilled chicken on a bed of lettuce!So annoying to get home and open exactly NOT what you ordered!From now on well go across the street to TGIF for takeout. Not a smart move Applebees when youre not the only show in town!

This applebees blows. Every single time I come here they mess up my order, not that hard as a matter of fact. I got a freakin wedge salad how don’t you give me the toppings? I only get lettuce okay, not what I ordered but whatever I will never come here again. Establishment is a joke. Wait staff is a joke, BOH staff horrible and management is a joke, don’t waste your time or money. Drive the distance to another applebees or go to TGIF across the street.
I love Debra, she had the patients to place our order over the phone shes awesome, nice and sweet, shes too kind and made us laugh, you should always ask for Debraaaaaa💖So long story short debra doesnt even work here but you can call her at the call center 🤷♀️

Worst eating eating experience Ive ever had got there for 10 oclock appitzers did not get seated until 11:50!!!! Didnt get food until 1then was cold :) ate it anyway didnt end up leaving until 1:40 worst service Ive ever had at any restaurant ever T.G.I. Fridays here I come!!!!!!

I used to go here all the time. On my last visit I waited 40 min for my curbside order. When I asked what the hold up was about the manager told me they were too busy. I wont be going back.
The cook was the worst was turn off i refuse to eat my steak they need to be able to serve those witj difficulty chewing every cook knows what butterfly the steak means n people ask for that for reason not just because.... i would give it no stars.....

Great experience at the bar . three friends and i had drinks and dinner . I was disappointed by take out ordered salad with dressing on the side. Dressing must still be on the side as it was not in the bag. Guess Ill have to check next time.

Normally I love applebees burgers, but this evening my medium rare burger came well done, crispy. They replaced it with a well done burger. I took it home and gave it to my dog.

2022-06-19Family dinner time. Company was great, ambiance was very good, food was good and Daniel our waiter was excellent.Cost was $110.00 for 3 adults, appetizers, a couple of beers, man course and 2 deserts.

2022-03-10Stopped in for a late dinner. I sat at the bar and had the Strawberry chicken salad and a glass of the strawberry lemonade. The lemonade was very refreshing and the salad had just the right amount of chicken cut up into bite size pieces. A good quick meal. Very happy with my choice of where to stop for dinner.

I come in by myself, after my own customer service job, and Mike knows exactly how to treat me so I feel just as valuable as the tables of 4. It was busy tonight and I never once felt like I wasn’t being prioritized. Good food, clean establishment, and a staple of Farmingdale.

Fountain beverages perfectly carbonated, served in a hard plastic cup. Beer served in a very clean glass, perfect head.2 for 22 menu consistently an outstanding bargain. Combining entree from 2 for 26 menu slight additional cost.Fiesta lime and chicken featured a plump, juicy JUST COOKED chicken breast. Subbing broccoli NO BUTTER for the rice was no problem.My companion ordered Bourbon Street Chicken and shrimp. A plump, juicy freshly prepared chicken breast paired with 6 (looked like 15 count size) sauteed, tender shrimp. An interesting sauce, gently hints of bourbon and spice.Side dish was outstanding every time Applebees mashed potatoes.

2022-04-12Stopped in the Farmingville location last night and everything was great. We were pressed for time to catch a train, and Sarah our server did a wonderful job taking out order and patiently taking my parents rather specific drink orders (they are regulars at the Riverhead location). Drinks and appetizers came out quickly, as did our main meals - all were excellent. Sarah brought out our to go boxes and the check, and we were out the door with time to spare. Well be back asap !

2022-01-22I did not like the food. Specifically the Bourbon Street Chicken and shrimp. The shrimp tasted like raw meat. The chicken was dry and unseasoned. I will not order this again. The desert was decent.
