EVERYTIME i go here I have to wait longer then 45 minutes for my food.. I call for carside pick and STILL waited an hour and didnt even get my food.. They just been doing bad
I normally get the whiskey burger. Last night I had there spare ribs and they were great!! Highly recommended this place for good food
When the hostess sat us she was very friendly. We asked for a booth and she was very accommodating. The waitress was not so much. She took our order, served our food and that was about it. I called her over and asked her for another refill drink and that was it no drinks, didnt see her, the bartender stood talking to her friends at the bar. Never saw her making another drink except for her friends. This was at 8:30pm, there was not a lot of people there. The waitress never came back to see how we were doing. We paid the bill on the table top tablet less a tip and left.
While normally I enjoy eating there todays experience was not as nice. As our food came out we were not served with silverware. One of our group members meals didnt come out til everyone else had finished. While the manager took that off the bill as an apology he did not however let us use our discount because he said we already had a discounted meal. That was not our fault. Makes me rethink eating there again.
I only went in to pick up my order but the staff was really cool
Slow service and waited for a dipper for our appetizers, that ended up cold. Asked 3 people and still no dipper. We will not be back to this location.
Our server Veronica was very friendly and nice. My 3 star rating is based on other staff members. We have never been to this Applebees before. We parked in the lot near the curbside pickup spaces. We walked in the door. There were 3 staff members inside the door and they waited until my husband asked if we should go somewhere else to be seated. Why not have a sign that says please go this way to be seated with an arrow or staff members try to make customers feel welcome and not leave them standing around?
The worst experience I ever had at a restaurant. First we were supposed to get 4 pepsis 3 with ice 1 without. All came with ice. Told server and she took 20 min to bring back the pepsi with no ice. My spinach artichoke dip was very cold and I asked for to please bring me a hot one. Didnt get that for 30 min. It was 1 hour after that our meals came out. Never 1x did she ask how the food was or offer a refill on sodas. She sat all the hot stuff in front of my 10 month old grand baby and we had to scrambled to move them. We were there for almost 3 hours. Never have I been somewhere to eat that took that long. The total bill was 113.00 and change. Unbelievable
The waitress messed up my order and waited til me and my girlfriend we’re almost done with are appetizers before she brought us are drinks. They are acting like McDonald’s and the rest of the fast food places

The worst Applebees I had ever been to,And trust me I have been to manyWhen we first arrived there was no hostess the manager actually greeted us with WELCOME TO MAKE BELIEVE LAND 😡When we finally got seated our waiter was arguing with the customers behind us we should have gotten up and left then but we didnt so we ordered our drinks and foodMy companion ordered Chicken Fingers when she got them they were hard as a rockI had ordered the prime dip the meat was over cooked and there was a Onion peel baked on top of the bread it came withI honestly think it was put there purposely.Not to mention we had to ask for silverware after our food had already arrived.Never again will we visit that particular ApplebeesGiving it 1 star is too much to be honest 😡😡😡😡
The food was better than the last time I went here, staff was great, prices were okay and drinks were okay, not sure that they actually had alcohol in them to be honest but whatever I didnt go there to get drunk haha.
Ordered chicken fingers and I think I’ve had better from a bag of frozen Tyson and it just tasted bland and old I think my school lunch tasted better

Not to bad. Steak was small for 20 bucks. Added shrimp. But I didnt like the fried red potatoes.
Very poor service never known a server not to pay any attention to their table, ordered the cheese burger for myself and it was the exact same size as the kids meal burger, wife ordered the three cheese penne with spicy Asian chicken tenders and said cheese sauce wasnt really cheese sauce and the tenders were supposed to be a sweet chile spicy and were not. the only good things served were the wonton chicken tacos and the fries.

Actually horrible, first time I am totally dis-satisfied.. Sat over ten minutes prior to waitress arriving order medium rare steak got well done, never asked if I wanted another drink nor desert.... Not selecting a star as it wasnt good at all. It wont let me post without a star guess its like losing and getting a trophy....
Great experience!I sat at the bar, and some guy across the bar paid for his bill and told the bar tender he will pay for another random persons tab plus his own. Those people whom he paid for then paid the bill for the guy sitting next to me. The guy next to me then paid for my tab. Only right to keep this act of generosity going, so i paid for someone who was picking up a to-go order at the bar. That lady then paid for another persons tab who was sitting at the bar. That person was still there when I left, but Id like to think they kept this going!!I am visiting from Florida; I highly recommended going here for the great food, plus the kindness of the people. What a great town! Utica, NY

The server and manager that we dealt with today acted like they had better things to do than take care of customers. The manager went out of his way to try and prove he was right over an incorrect order. Extremely classy!
My group was skipped over and had to wait an extra 30m, then the person that made the mistake decided he would rather argue with everyone(his fellow waiters) instead of just seating us then the server kept forgetting things like the menu and the stuff you would expect waiters to remember.

Normally dont have a problem here and am very understanding since Ive been in customer service for 20 years. But I recently took my parents out here with my family. We waited for quite a while for our food. Everyones food was cold. My S/O had a skillet that was cold as well. My mother ordered a cheeseburger that was almost raw. the server was very apologetic and nice, but I feel something shouldve been done besides taking 10 dollars off. 90 dollars of food was cold. Not a good experience.
I love it, specially if you like to just chill with the family or a love one very good place to eat and drink , I always go because I feel very confident and comfortable here , the costumer service is great.

I had the Tuscan chicken salad. Very disappointing! Chunks of iceberg lettuce, red onions, and alleged pieces of chicken soaked in a dressing that was nearly pure vinegar. The odd lumps of chicken were flavorless and may have been tofu. Each bite was either flavorless or torture by vinegar. The ice tea was tasty.
Very bad experience at this Applebees. I will not support nor recommend anyone else to support this restaurant.They are not ethically in how they conduct business. I spoke to the general manager today regarding a $300.00 mistake an employee made and they refuse to even attempt to rectify the situation.Other manager lied and said they could not pull up video footage, but when the police because involved all of a sudden they were able to provide footage.If this is an example of how Applebees runs its restaurant I dont recommend supporting their organization.

Cant really go wrong with this place. Usually fast service. The menu is ok. Nothing crazy fancy. I love the specials and drinks though. 12.99 unlimited boneless wings, shrimp, or ribs? Thats awesome. And they kept them coming too. We ordered for 1 and the waiter came out with an order of shrimp and boneless wings. So it was great. The cocktails are great too. Recommend the bahama mama for sure.
First time using curbside pick up.. Very happy, a woman named Tiffany brought out my order and double checked it for me, went in and grabbed the applesauce and milk that were missing and hooked me up with some fries for that and the wait.. Very satisfied! Great food, great price, happy people! What more could you ask for? ☺
Was here about a week ago for a carry out order and the employee helping me, I believe her name was mackenzie, was horribly rude and unprofessional. She never once even looked at me and was noticeably annoyed. She also was wearing her mask incorrectly, which I did not appreciate. Not sure if she also bagged my food but I was missing a soup as well. Maybe she was having a bad day but she was an absolutely terrible person to be working in the service industry, let alone a family restaurant. I ordered my food before 9pm on doordash for pickup. And applebees didnt confirm my order was done until they had closed I had to go up there and get my food and it was just sitting there. If I had known they get down like that I would had order from Chilis instead.

Hostess told us it was a 10 minute wait, after 20 minutes waiting he told us when he does seat us itll be 45 minutes before we can get our food. We walked out
Stopped in on our way home from our cabin. Had all the NFL games on asked us what game we wanted d to watch and seated us accordingly. They were conducting a fundraiser for veterans and it was obvious that the entire staff was actively involved in helping the cause. Everyone was friendly, the service was efficient. The food was good for a chain restaurant. Would stop there again.
Food was ok this time, I ordered a burger and it was good. Last few times I went they said that they could not take the onions out of a dish as it was all made ahead of time. I am allergic to onions so I didnt get to eat. I guess the food prep people dont cook the food they just reheat it. The wait staff was great and attentive, but I cannot give more than 2 stars as the food is not cooked there just reheated.

We enjoy the atmosphere and super friendly staff. Always a pleasant dining experience. The specials are great as well as the variety on the menu. Portions are just enough. The bar area is roomy and plenty to watch on television. Location is also a plus.
I know you hear a lot of things about Applebees but I must say Ive been a proud customer for a few years now and I have to admit the food is great. Im the type of girl to pass on the salad and get the garlic & onion steak if you know what I mean. Ive had everything from the Burgers and steaks to the rib platters and nachos, and I never leave hungry or disappointed. Highly recommend the Margaritas as well!
Used to go here once a month with family. No more. We went three weeks ago and it was chaos. Sons meal sent to wrong table so they had re fire a rare steak . Our meals went under heat lamp for 25 minutes it took them to cook rare steak! Then 5 minutes later they brought another meal. Two different runners brought appetizers 5 minutes apart duplicate order. I sent complaint to Corporate office. My check was over $75.00 .They sent me a $10 gift card! I sent it back. Dont bother going here!!!
Prompt, friendly service. Clean restaurant. I ordered a whiskey burger, cooked just right. My wife sometimes goes for oddball drinks. If that describes you, try the Tipsy Snowman.
As expected from a chain restaurant. The environment was better than expected with really positive staff. The food was made better because of the atmosphere, just comfortable to Sit and enjoy time with friends and family.
I love their food/salads, but with the increase of cars and pick up to go at the carside to go, make sure you have plenty of time before picking up for work. My food was not on time and I had to leave for work without a lunch!
We come here often and tonights experience was less than stellar. The $1 drink was HORRIBLE and half of our food came out cold. Reordered the cold food and didnt even get a smidgen of an apology, more or less an eyeroll.

Though the place was very busy we had no issue with being seated. The food was great as was our server. Had their margarita special at $1 ,well worth it, not a watered down version.
Waited two and a half hours to get something to eat while other people were served, we still were sitting there without any drinks. No one knew who our waitress was. We had to ask the bartender to go find one for us the people that came in when we came in had already ate and left. The service sucked and I would never go back again.
Honestly its like its heat up and serve food. You get to wait for a table in low lighting which I totally dislike. Whats so wrong with seeing your food in real lighting atmosphere. I have to say the staff do their best, but I have being asked if everythings ok. Im a quiet table kinda patron. Just observe from a distance and/or just agree to a location so we can make eye contact when I need assistance.

We had a great time . I thank them for looking into what type of gloves they use , as Im allergic to latex. They use non latex gloves . Everyone was soo friendly and nice . Everything is cleaned
Waited 3 minutes to be seated by the host. After another 5 minutes the waitress came over and took our drink order. After another 3 minutes brought our drinks to us. My Fiancee got a BlackBerry lemonade that was just country time lemonade with blackberries in it. My Pepsi was watered down and had no carbonation in it. My burger was well done instead of pink in the middle and was so greasy that I could barely finish it. My fiancees fish fry was so greasy that she did not finish it. On top of all of this the service was absolutely horrible. At the end of the meal the waitress brought me another Pepsi after I finished the first one 15 minutes before hand she never once came over to see if we needed anything or to ask how the meal was. That is one Applebees we will never patron again
Food was good except the first piece of steak was burnt. They replaced my entire plate, including the sides. Service was great.
We sat down about 8:15 and our food didnt come out till 9:30. Watched a table sit down after us, get their food, pay and leave before we got ours. I understand they were busy but the service was pathetic. The waitress wasnt really the problem as she was running around alot too. Ok so they have great drink specials every month. But last night it started off by my friends daughter getting her meal 20 mins before we got ours, which took 45 mins to come out. 3 entrees of steak. When we finally got our meals, 2 were slightly warm and mine was ice cold. It felt like the entire plate came out of the fridge. When I pointed this out to the server she gave me an attitude. I expected the manager to come talk to me, she never even showed up. Yea they took it off my check, but I didnt want a replacement since it would have made my friends sit there with their daughter who by that time had no more food until I was finished. So I didnt get to eat. My drinks cost $5 , and they didnt even offer to take that off my check. I will never be going back to this Applebees other than to go to the bar and drink.
Food was slow coming out, waitress completely forgot a drink my wife ordered. My cousin and I ordered two different burgers cooked two different ways, both came well done.Maybe mine started pink (they do either pink, or no pink) but by the time I got it, no pink & dried out. The place wasnt crowded so I dont understand the reason why. The table next to us had problems as well.

Worst Eating Out Experience Ever!Waiting over an hour for a burger & pasta dish! Finally ended up leaving after noticing that 3 tables that sat after us were served! I would love to rate it higher but they couldnt even provide the maple glaze sauce that is supposed to come with the fish dinners we ordered. And when I asked for extra sauce I was told they would only allow one extra.... even though we ordered two fish dinners you would think if the paying customer desires an extra sauce why cant we have it????

Been here a few times and the food seems pretty standard quality for other Applebees Ive visited. Other reviewers comments about service being spotty are main complaint too. Last visit we waited over 30 minutes before the server came over and said our order had been lost in the shuffle which meant he forgot to send it through apparently. No other offer of help or comment at all, then seemed to get irritated w. US when we asked about our food 15 minutes after that. Tried asking for missing sauce after food came out & server decided to bus 2 tables first despite nearly an hour of waiting for our food.
Went there for lunch.Ordered a Mountain Dew And water. Waitress brought me out a Pepsi and Water. No big deal. Swapped my soda with my BFs water, since he likes Pepsi. We placed our order. Bacon Burger and Tenders with dipping sauce. (2 for 20, with $2 upgrade for the tender platter, so I could share with my son.) After waiting 45 minutes for our meal, it was brought out, COLD. At this point, my toddler was getting upset bc he had to sit for so long and the toys we had brought werent keeping him occupied. We hurriedly ate our cold food. Didnt hear from the waitress till she brought out the check. No refills or anything.UPDATED TO ADD : The manager called me after leaving this review. And has said that he was very sorry we had a terrible experience and said that he will leave a $20 gift card with the hostess for us for the next time we visit. Which is very kind of him!

When for lunch wait about 15 minutes just for the server to show up at the table, maybe a five table full in the hole restaurant 🤔. Need more training or more people.
They have a good selection of food here, also beer, liquor, & wine. They have a weekly Thursday night trivia game, prizes very every week. Service is good and so is the food. The cook does have a bit of an issue with steaks, meaning he/she cant seem to get the steak like you want it (rare, medium, well) but they are quick to rectify the problem with no attitude about it which is great.
The first time I sat at the bar, ordered steak med well, broccoli and mashed potatoes. Steak was over well done, broccoli mushy, potatoes cool, no silverware,Second time a hamburger med well, french fries. Im not sure if the meat was real, underdone and mushey, french fries were ok. They need work to get up to standards.

Service was good to start. Then our waitress got another table and we literally never saw her again. Couldnt get refills or even sugar for the table. We had to track down our own boxes and even find someone so we could pay the check. Very disapointed. Food was mediocre.

Usually good food and service but my wifes shrimp was undercooked tonight. My French onion soup and Caeser salad was good but she was unhappy. Probably will return at some point since they did not charge us for her dinner.
Vampyre drink is a must try and you cant lose for only 1 dollar. You get vampire teeth too...what fun. The food was good service was great and we had fun.

There is absolutely no vegetarian dishes on the menu with the exception of a couple of appetizers. Not even the salads.There are a lot of people who do not eat any kind of meat (chicken, seafood).The only reason that we went is because I had a buy one get one free coupon.We have not been there foryears (because of the lack of vegetarian choices) and probably will not be back.You used to have a vegetarian burger that could be changed from the regular burger and that was good.Im not sure whos idea it was to do away with vegetarian choices but it was a bad one.
Great appetizer choices if youd meeting friends for drinks, great food if you want dinner. The staff is even better than the food! under the cheerful management of Jerry. Always accommodating for large groups!

Was okay,soup was served cold,but I did receive an extra bowl,friends food was cold ,its to bad because this happens often when we go to this establishment,also I understand waitresses and waiters need to get tips sign out,but wouldnt be better to do it elsewhere and not next to the customers at the bar?? My family and I went there on a Saturday night waited the usual 35 min. to be seated then the horrible experience began.We all ordered our drinks they came in about 10 min.then the waitress took our food order.. My nephew and I order the ribs she came back in 35 min. to tell us there were no ribs left. So we ordered again.Everyone received their food except my nephew and I when we finally received our food about 50 min. later,everyone else was done eating,she forgot an item I had ordered but by that time I just said forget it...it was terrible it took the waitress about 45 min. to refill our sodashe forgot we had asked...the manager came over and appologized for all the mix ups,she offered us free deserts...so we ordered 5 deserts they only brought 4 and my nephew yet again didnt get his...The waitress was terrible never smiled and acted like she didnt care...I will never go again and I certainly will tell people to steer clear of this Applebees!!!!

This Applebees is stinky and dirty. Our table was sticky and not cleaned the table that sat next to us was the same thing. The staff had a meeting on ordering food at the booth behind me while I was eating, as it was annoying to have them loudly discussing business, I was surprised to hear that they were not planning on throwing out bad produce they were going to cut around it. Thats OK for home but not when you are out to eat. Place needs some cleaning and new management.

We were seated, and after 25 minutes of no one ever coming to acknowledge us, I went and spoke to a manager. About 5 minutes later we finally got a waitress to come over. By now, 2 other tables that came after us were starting to eat their meals, and we still dont have drinks. I had to leave to take a state exam, and after waiting for 1 hour and 5 minutes, we still didnt get dinner. I left, leaving my dinner to be brought home in a take out box. My husband order a burger that was supposed to be dressed, they forgot that part. The manager did come over and offer dessert, but the remaining people in my party had had enough waiting and wanted to just be done.Now I am over tired, and hungry and will eat my cold left overs that I paid good money for tomorrow.Yep, unless you have more patience than me, dont bother.Update 5 days later. Received an email the day after posting that I would be called. Still waiting on that too.Update about one month has gone by, and Applebees never called.Oh well, didnt think that they would in the end.So sad, hope I saved someone a ruined dinner.Update again. 2-13-18 the manager of the Applebees at this location called. We had a nice conversation about the new changes that are occurring at this branch to hopefully prevent this from happening to others.Thank you for taking the time to listen.
Quick, good value, good service. Applebees consistently in all I have visited have dirty and under stocked restrooms. I tend to only visit when I have forgotten my last experience. I had the caprese meal which was gross due to tomatoes and mozzerala being soggy over warm potatoes. It was just a poor choice as most of the other things I have tried are decent value food.
The last time i came here it was not so good but this time we had a new waitress who just started and she was amazing ! Not only that but the food was also great 😊
Horrible food quality for the price. Soggy and cold food with overpriced drinks. Could have gone to a much better quality restaurant for the $50 Bill that we paid. Soggy bun soaked in butter with my burger, and soggy bread on top of my French onion soup. Do not recommend.

Whoever gave this place a 5 star rating must be an Applebees employee! We went in for lunch during the week and were lead to a table in the back of the restaurant where no one else was seated. We specifically asked for a booth but the hostess lead us to a table anyway. When we asked to be seated toward the front of the restaurant at a booth, she had to confer with other wait staff before she could seat us. It was practically empty with possibly 10 other tables full at the time of our arrival. This immediately put us off. The service at that point was especially poor. Like we were being punished for asking for something they did not want to do. So we decided there would never be a reason to enter another Applebees.
Very disappointed in this place there was a bunch of seats open yet there was a wait. Very bad

Waitness never came to ask if we wanted another drink, never asked if our food was ok. She never mentioned their promotion which entitled is to a free order of mootz sticks but when i asked about them, the waitness did not know what to do so we didnt get them...i wont go ever again or recommend Applebees to anyone
The food was not very good. The chicken was tough and dry. My vegetables were ruined by the overwhelming amount of lemon sauce they drowned them in. The mashed potatoes tasted like they had been around for a while. Not impressed at all. Wont return.
My son ,fiancee and myself went to get some dinner at 4 oclock Friday the 13th at the North Utica location .it wasnt very busy . We were seated quickly by the hostess and given our menus . We sat there and figured out what we were ordering and no one showed up to take our order ,after waiting 15 minutes we took our business to Red Lobster ! Wont be back !
Did not like the music, it was too loud and it took almost 45 minutes for our meal to come out
Broccoli was fresh. Not overcooked. But everything is loaded with salt and onion flavoring. I always get sick within minutes after eating there. Could just be an intolerance to their seasonings and the extreme salt.

Applebees constantly adds new menu items that are tasty, and well prepared. Service is prompt and friendly. I ordered Mac N Cheese with crusty honey glazed chicken.
Friendly staff. We didnt have to wait at all for a table. Food came quick. Waitress was very attentive.

On my second visit to this Applebees location the service was absolutely horrible my meal was not at all what I expected but my girlfriend like hers... its just a run-of-the-mill Applebees and Im not very impressed but Im sure we will return again someday and hopefully my mind will change
Eat there tonight and remember why I quick going there food was either out or changed to different item .service could of been better was told by our waiter ,reordered your bread sticks cause they were alittle over done then never got them any ways !! I tryed the battered backed fish. they tried to kill me.over cooked but that s not the bad part ended up with the runs 5 times in next hour and a half . It emptyed me all the way out was sick the rest of the day never going back.
There was a hair in my salad, the restaurant was freezing the restrooms were even colder and the water to wash with was like ice. The waitress did not apologize for the hair in my salad and there was no compensation. Will not return.
I went to applebees after work with some co-workers and I asked for the large mudslides amount of alcohol in a smaller glass and I would pay for the larger drink(usually 8-9dollars.. But i didnt want all of the ice cream). The waitress told me that She wasnt allowed to do that because she cant put more than 2oz of alcohol in a smaller drink like that because its against the law. I was like uhh okay. And she offered me a double instead which I was assuming was less alcohol since it was against the law. She brings me back a smaller glass and when I tasted it, it tasted like a normal mudslide with slight bit more alcohol and I figured whatever, whats it going to be two or three bucks more than the normal size which is 7 dollars? Nope, she charges me 6.50 more for it and called it Kahlua on the bill. When I asked about it(because I thought she charged me for someone elses drink) she told me oh no that was for the double 😮 13.50 for a drink with less than 2oz of alcohol? I would have just ordered the larger drink.. Or went somewheres else. 👎
We had Appetizers they were good, our dinner were awful, I had the beef brisket tacos they were hard and tastless the fries that all three of us got were old. We had dessert they where very good. Sorry very dissatisfied.
They didnt have enough waitresses so, the wait for the food took awhile but the food was good.
Waiter was clumsy, rushed the bill to us without asking if we wanted dessert. My shake was overfilled and made a mess on the table.
When its off peak hours the service is fantastic, but when its busy its very hard to get in and out without having to wait a really long time for your food.
Amazing lunch with friends . We enjoyed the all you can eat specials and our server was very attentive and polite . We hd a great time and will be back again for sure.

If the manager didnt give a credit, I wouldnt come back. The cook needs to learn how to cook per order and make sure comes out the kitchen like he would he was out. (Three out three dinners where cold)

Always a great meal. We usually stop for lunch on the way home from doing errands. The pick 2 lunch option is just the right amount of food. Service is fast and friendly.

Ive always had an excellent time here but I have always been curious about the smoking section...I never see any ashtrays in there and never see anyone smoking so it begs the question: can you smoke in the smoking section? Would appreciate an answer if possible. Thanks!

Hamburgers are good, but with a beer you walk out thinking 30 bucks for that. Your better of going to grill and pub where hamburgers are freshly ground and more tap beers to choose from.
I hate the fact that they mix up the sauces between Ranch and blue cheese how hard is it to put a label on things if you dont know the difference and also how i order the steak with the mushrooms they always give tons of onions and like 5 little mushrooms... They service is good when it comes to them taking your order but when your order comes out its not all that great and it really did upset me being that i am pregnant which made everything worse.. Also we ordered strawberries with my daughter meal which we never got... They put to much seasoning on the steak and never even brought us out plates or extra napkins for our appetizers... Not Cool will be going to New Hartford from now on

Had dinner here and it is basically just like any other Applebees. Very clean and friendly staff and food was OK. Plently of parking and very easy to get in and out of.

I prefer the Applebee in newhartford rather than the north utica Applebees. Honestly the newhartford restaurant is just ran alot better and the food is always on point.

My favorite restaurant in Utica. Foods are not expensive but they are good. There are a bar and screens, so you also can use this place for drinking.

Terrible service. We went with 7 in our party. Once we arrived to a nearly empty restaurant, we were told that we could not sit together because a party if 30 was coming and reserved seating. However, later we found that Applebees does not reserve seating.

2022-03-07I would have given it five stars, but for the following reasons; the table was dripping wet and we found her own napkins to wipe a drive, we asked for ketchup but then finally got up and went and got it ourself, the waitress actually put one of our four on three orders in with the appetizers.Now, for all the good reasons why I gave the restaurant 4 stars. The food was excellent. The food was served hot. There was a short wait to obtain a table. We were waited on promptly. The cost was very reasonable.

2022-06-23We visited the restaurant because the the US Open was being televised while we were traveling home from Cooperstown. We grabbed an appetizer to share and my spouse had a dessert ( chicken quesadilla and a chocolate brownie w ice cream. Tasty Applebee fare, and reasonably priced

2019-04-06I ordered one app and two tall beers initially. The good news first, that plate of nachos was very well done; the portions was good for two people and it wasnt short on cheese or toppings. It also found its way to us hot. Second, kudos to Applebees for offering Dos Equis on tap; thats all I drink at home.However, my only compliant was with the beer--chiefly the glassware. My first glass of beer was dirty. I didnt realize this until I finished it. I didnt want to make a scene because there was only one bartender, and a million patrons at the bar. The devil is in the details, if I cant trust my glass to be clean--how can I trust my plates and silverware to be clean? Do better...

2022-01-23Everyone of our orders were wrong. My kids were finished with their meals by the time my correct meal came to the table. This has happened here before as well. I ordered blackened salmon with broccoli and rice and they brought me fried shrimp and fries, my daughter ordered a burger with no cheese no condiments, just burger/bacon/bread ... it came out with cheese and ketchup. My little one ordered chicken tenders with broccoli and Mashed potatoes and it came out with fries. We only sent mine back because it was the completely wrong meal. My kids were hungry so they just ate what was brought to them. Nothing was comped and I still paid a 20% tip. I probably shouldnt have. Not a great experience.

2022-02-10Food was not that good the 2 orders fish was a nice portion and would have been good if the bottom wasnt greasy and mushy the fries were little hard nubbins at least the kids got some regular fries 2 orders of quesadilla burgers. Burgers were as thin as a mc d reg burger lacking on toppings and flavor major disappointment for the guys with their French frie pices too. Cold mac n cheese for one kid kids burger was bigger than the quesadia burger kids pizza was standard microwave pizza nothing special . We had to ask for lemon , tarter sauce and ketchup never got the ketchup gave. Mine to my grandson my fries were uneatable anyway. We did get A teaspoon of tarter sauce for my daughter in-law gusse thats all they could spare and I did get enough lemon for my fish and to top off the night we were in the large booth but couldnt hear each other talking the music was blaring so loud that I couldnt make out what my grandson was screaming to me and he was almost on my lap. I would never recommend this place for dinner !!! Your better off at Bk !!!
