I was really happy with the responsiveness of the team by phone before and after the initial visit, and the service technician was great. He took his time, explained everything and gave us tips about our Miele washer to ensure a long life. So far so good on the repair too.
My oven died this morning and I didn’t have time to call anyone for service. I had a good feeling what part broke. I called, they had it. I bought it and fixed the oven. They were very helpful over the phone (even pulled the part before I got there) and super friendly and helpful in person as well. Thank you folks! Now, have to go cook…
Overall I had a good experience with Fifth Avenue Appliance. They were prompt and courteous to my needs and addressed all of my issues. They kept me informed via phone calls, text messages and email. My technician Jorge was very helpful. I would recommend and utilize their services in the future.
Was disappointed with the service. After waiting a week for my service call, the tech was unable to diagnose the problem with my dryer and left. When I called to explain that the dyer wasnt fixed I was told that I needed to wait another week for the same tech. Needless to say a week later and the same tech came and left without fixing the dyer. When I called to complain, they made it seem like it was a very complicated issue and could I wait another week for the specialist. The specialist (very nice guy) came and told me to buy a new dryer. I wasted a month and 100.00 on a service call.
Service person seemed fine, though it’s hard to know b/c he basically just told me that my machines had to be replaced. Sales department are total scammers. Tried to bait and switch me for most expensive model, saying others weren’t available and then tried to charge a ridiculous installation fee. I went with another company which got me the model I wanted (it was available after all) and gave free installation and hauled away my old machines for no charge. Avoid 5th Ave Appliance if you can.
Frank is an amazing technician and a real expert on Sub Zero refrigerators. He always does a great job.But I think that $495 for 15 minutes of work recharging the Freon, is a bit excessive! Frank says he doesnt set the prices but I think its a bit much for a simple recharge!
5th Ave Appliance repair service is one of the most reliable company. I have called them for many of my residence of the the building. They are on time, very professional, technician know what they are doing and reasonable price. If you guys need any repair for you appliances pls call 5th Ave Appliance. You will not be disappointed.
I was told the first consult visit would be applied to service if needed. They did not follow up after “ordering part”.When I called there were too many excuses, then told me the consult would not be attributed to repair and was going to charge me over 300 to replace the starter on the stovetopI canceled and then received a bill for a job not scheduledThey need to address their policies and office staff....I will not ever use them.
Tech came here on Thursday to service 2 refrigerators and a cloths dryer. Was unable to move one refrigerator and the dryer. I have a back injury and can not help. I have been without a refrigerator and dryer in my house for 5 days now and have not heard back. Are the customers supposed to be helping to move the appliances? What happens when you are like me and cant help or if the customer is an elderly man or lady?
Christina & crew are the best. I called them from the West Coast to see if they had a (hard to find) part in their inventory. Not only did they respond quickly, they also went the extra mile to help me perform some troubleshooting of my issue to make sure I was ordering the correct part.Good news is they had the part at a good price and had it quickly shipped to me. My appliance is back up and running perfectly!I wouldn’t ever hesitate to use A-OK Appliance Parts & Service. Thank you Christina and crew!
Technician was in my apartment for 5 mins at a cost of $95 and said he would have to come back with another person to do the job. He said that Fifth Ave Appliance would call me with a quote for the parts, an estimate of the cost of repair and to schedule it. No one ever called

2022-06-30The service man was very friendly, helpful, and professional. I was a little frustrated that I wasnt told that the gasket would not be replaced today. It is hard for me to stay home from work for these appointments and I would have waited until the part was in if I had known. Thank you.

2022-07-01Jonathan was great: knowledgeable, friendly, competent like all of the repair techs they have sent us. But--and this is why they get only 3 stars--they never warned us that they arent a manufacturer-authorized service. Using them voided our Bosch warranty.

2022-06-10The technician was thorough in evaluating my washing machine to confirm the cause of the issue. He gave great suggestions on whether to repair the machine or replace it and gave great suggestions on machines that hes seen less issues with.

2021-08-17For years, they had great service and Philip as a service person was the best. Today, besides calling quickly for payment, the wait was over 31/2 hrs for a service person without explanation or apology. The office said the service person didnt answer his phone and they had no idea where he was. Passing the blame to a service person is not a sound policy for running a business and giving confidence to the customer, quite the contrary.

2022-02-09Fifth Avenue appliance charged me the full amount before service and they still have not fixed my microwave. Three weeks, two service appointments, but it is still not working.
