3 years in a row now I have been getting flowers from here and I must say every year I am so impressed! Flowers always look amazing and smell fantastic and my girlfriend loves to keep the vase and the flowers dry nicely in them as nice memories.
Their designers made an exquisite wedding bouquet on short notice for our elopement. It was thoughtfully done for our woodland setting and beautiful beyond our expectations. The staff was so kind and helpful too. Thank you!
We can’t thank Charles and his team at Arena’s enough for the absolutely amazing work they did for our wedding. They are incredibly professional and talented. They’re arrangements are beautiful and unique. Any time we had any questions or last minute requests they were incredibly helpful and accommodating.

Charles Arena is one of(the few) high style decorators in Rochester...and this store showcases a level of his style and sophistication and nothing short of a like store in NYC. The only option for floral finery. I wouldnt be caught dead anywhere else. Although to save money sometimes I wander the park ave neighborhood snipping a single flower from the gardens of my choosing. Truly, one-of-a-kind experience.

I once purchased $50 worth of flower bouquet here. They dont know how to wrap flowers! They wrapped the flowers in a very ugly, thick, and bulky black paper and it not only looked huge but covered, instead of showing, all the beautiful flowers. It was my first time to apologize to the recipient of my flowers for its ugly wrapping. I really should have gone to Wegmans, both for flowers quality and presentation. Sorry for the comparison, but I felt I got less than what I paid for in this store. they have cute cards, though.

The most unique and stunning household decor I have ever seen. So well curated. Gorgeous artificial plants. I literally loved everything in there. Its not cheap, but the quality and beauty support the prices. It is a must-see kind of place.

Pretty disappointed. Im from Boston, locally I am familiar with Winstons (the absolute BEST) so I asked for a personal recommendation on the best florist in Rochester from a friend. I went to the website to confirm and was initially delighted with what I saw. They dont have arrangements to view online, just pretty photos of past work and the flower shop.To play it safe I decided on an orchid (you cant mess up an orchid can you?) I asked the rep if they would dress it up which I should not have to do at a florist of this caliber and she assured me it would be beautiful.Well my girlfriend sent me a photo of her delivery today and all I can say is that it is = to an orchid I could have purchased myself at a Lowes or Home Depot for $25. I wish I could post a photo here for you to see it. While it did have 2 stems of flowers, it was in a basic clay pot and the dressing up involved some moss under the leaves. For $100 this is really a slap in the face.If you do order from Arenas you have to be very prescriptive apparently. I called to let the shop know my expectations had not been met and Edward told me I should have stated I didnt want a clay pot. Interesting how it turns out to be my error.
If you want the best flowers in truly beautiful, custom arrangements, this is the only place to get it in Rochester. I see people on here say it costs more... but you get what you pay for! I say if you want cheap flowers in mediocre arrangements, go to a grocery store. It’s a beautiful store to walk around in too. Glad it’s part of downtown Rochester.
Been using Arenas for years and years. Always amazing.Knocked a star off just cuz I JUST ordered flowers for Mothers Day and the guy on the phone was fairly rude.Customer service, people!! Dont forget about that!BUT...they do a great job.
We had Arenas do the flowers for our wedding and they were absolutely stunning. The staff is wonderful and their work is unparalleled. They are well worth the cost- when I saw the bouquets the day of my wedding it took my breath away. Gorgeous!
I went into Arena’s for a quote on flowers for my wedding. I had gotten quotes from 5 other comparable shops in the area. My first complaint would be the lack of professionalism from Benn, the person I was texting to set up the meeting. He was too casual for me. He even asked if I had gotten other quotes (which nobody else did). Upon arrival to the shop he greeted me by the wrong name. I had an appointment and thought this was not a good way to start, especially considering the long list of flowers I was in need of and the amount of money I was potentially going to be spending there. I will say Benn was friendly. It took over a week and a half before I contacted Benn again and asked if he had put the quote together. Every other florist I went to either calculated things immediately or had a proposal to me within 48 hours. I found it offputting that he hadn’t sent me any updates and then I had to contact him myself. I texted him and asked about my quote. He told me that it was looking like over $10,000!!! He never sent me a formal proposal and when I told him that would be way out of my price range, didn’t even reply. That’s just terrible customer service if you ask me. Didn’t even try to work with me or ask how we could work together to get the price down. Which was 50% more than other quotes and even two higher quotes I had gotten were still only around 7,000! Based on the customer service and the ridiculous price it’s safe to say I brought my business elsewhere. It would have been one thing if the customer service was unmatched and they seemed great in every way, but there were red flags right off the bat.
Very cute store. People working there are very friendly and VERY helpful. I would describe it as a whimsical. Items can be pricey but they have high quality and are definitely one of a kind. Will be coming back for more!

Incredibly disappointed in the arrogance displayed by Charles and Edward. While it is hard to accept feedback on an earlier order (not related to the mothers day rush) it is an entirely new level to call the persons expecting to receive the order and cancel it. I called to speak with Charles because a client of mine referred me over to Arenas and he was the most ignorant person i have ever spoke to. He cut me off in mid sentence and told me to hurry up and get to the point. I have never gone into Arenas i was just referred there but I know now I will never step foot in that place. Thanks Charles for saving me a lot of time!

2022-08-16I love Arenas, cant quite afford everything here but love it!They have some of the most beautiful and most exquisite vintage pieces in the entire city. And the floral arrangements they do are GORG.The store is lovely and carries some fun local made items as well as beautiful vintage pieces. They have two levels and lock the door, so you will need to ring the doorbell to be let in.Yes, the prices are high. But again, some of the pieces are hard to find.I didnt experience any issues with customer service. They werent the friendliest, but also not the rudest.Parking is easy enough on the street.

2022-03-24I currently live outside of the States but am originally from Rochester, NY – I use Arena’s every time I need to send flowers to family and friends for different occasions. Payment is super easy and over the phone. I’m always blown away when I receive the photos from the recipients of the arrangements their designers put together. Especially the ones sent for a close family friend. Use Arena’s – they’re worth every penny. A Rochester gem.

2021-03-24A friend of mine had to be in the hospital, I live out of state. I wanted to get her something to brighten her room and day- the team at Arena’s was so helpful and kind over the phone. They surprised with this floral arrangement, as I didn’t know what to get. She loved it, very beautiful and unique.

2017-08-03They have design pieces to suit anyones interest. Walking through the store is a treat in and of itself. They designed my bridal bouquet and it was absolutely beautiful! I took these pictures the day after the wedding, and even through the heat they still look amazing!

2022-02-09I have ordered from Arena’s for the past couple of years. I always just tell them my budget and let them choose the design. This is what they do! I trust them and have not been disappointed yet. My girlfriend is always impressed. I hope I never have to edit this review. Great job!

2020-11-17Over time we have received several floral arrangements from Arenas. Most recently we had them create flowers for our wedding. Each arrangement has always been absolutely stunning, unique, and perfectly arranged. I cannot rave enough about the beauty that the staff if able to create- they are true creative professionals!

2021-10-01I found out last minute that a friend was coming in from out of town and wanted to greet her with a welcome basket at her hotel that night. I called Arena’s at 3:00 pm; the store closes at 4:00 pm, but Edward made it happen. Amazing customer service. Thank you.
