All personnel were very friendly, helpful, and went beyond for me. We had some delays with the initial installation process and follow up of service after the sale, but all issues were due to the trike manufacturer - Motor Trike. Arkport Cycles did an excellent job of handling everything. I will highly recommend them to anyone. They also took care of me with a purchase back in 1996 with the best excellence in Sales and Service. This is why i returned.
Curt and Jen Both demonstrate Excellence in customer service. They always try to accommodate the customer with timing of repairs. And the mechanics that worked on my 2020 VStrom did an excellent job connecting my driving lights . I am very pleased
I was lucky enough to score a Yamaha side by side that was in stock! Adam had it ready for me promptly the same day after calling in the morning to check on availability. I showed up and the paperwork was ready for me to sign. Quick and easy. He also set me up with a windshield which was in stock and ordered the extras speakers for the back and subwoofer. It was nice to receive the discount on the accessories for the my new ride when I purchased at Arkport Cycles. Something extra they do for their customers! I was very pleased with everything and got the exact machine I was after. Adam got it done for me!! Great customer service!!

Been coming to Arkport Cycles/Harley since the mid 80s prior to them having the Harley franchise. I bought my first new bike from them in 88.....a 1988 Suzuki Katana 1100. Since then Ive purchased a couple more bikes and always had excellent customer service and reasonable prices. Ive been to other local Harley dealers and to be honest, although Arkport is a bit more of a drive distance wise for me, the prices and customer service more than make up the difference. John, Rose, and Jenny, run a great dealership and service their customers well.....keeping them coming back. Their staff (Andy) are courteous, knowledgeable, helpful, and proficient. Bob McElver

Brought my Harley in for an inspection and the engine light being on. They had it taken care of in less than an hour! The mechanic explained to me about the code(speed sensor) and how it probably happened. Cleared it and I was on my way!
I have dealt with Tracy numerous times. Shes always willing to help out with my orders or questions. Always polite and courteous and knows what she is doing. goes out of her way to help in many ways.

I apologize i should of explained. My BF took his bike to have it stored for the winter. This includes a full detail, winter storage, the bike gone thru to look for defects, and an inspection. When we showed up to pick the bike up he was told he owed 90 for a repair to pass inspection, which he should of been called and notified about. When he went to leave we noticed the bike was filthy obviously not detailed. They offered to have us bring it back to detail it which he refused because of the hour long drive to get there to begin with. He called and talked to a couple managers who did credit his account the price of the storage and they did make things right. Im sorry I should of posted this before but I forgot, I would like to add that the service and people are excellent, I would recommend this place to anyone. Im changing my review from 1 star to 5. Thank you Arkport Harley Davidson. You were very professional and turned a bad experience into an awesome one, so thank you.
Sorry I cant just leave a review for one person that helped with my purchase. Adam was super helpful and probably the easiest salesman Ive ever delt with. The lady that helped with the financial part of my purchase was very helpful and explained everything thoroughly. Sorry I cant remember her name. The people in the service bay had my new ride assembled in no time at all. All the employees that I talked to were very friendly and helpful. The pups make the store even better. Drove 6 hours one way to buy a Yamaha. Price was what I expected, the staff from the parts guy, finance woman, and sales guy were awesome and accommodating for someone coming from out of town. Definitely recommended.
In the past 2 seasons, weve bought 6 motorcycles and Im considering buying a 2019 Goldwing to replace my 2006. Ive been a customer there since they opened for 2 simple reasons, first - they care, second the have great staff in both service and sales. I drive 88 miles each way to buy from them, while passing several other dealers. If your looking for a motorcycle, give them a try, Im sure youll feel the same way after your purchase from them.

Had 2 recalls on my Honda Pioneer. Reception at the service entrance desk was two thumbs up. Meg was personable, right to the point and mechanically savvy. Work was completed as estimated, the correct parts were on hand. Very good experience.
I recently purchased Harley Highway Pegs. The installation wasnt as straight forward as I anticipated and left me with some questions. Paul was kind enough to take the time to answer my questions. He even went as far as to take parts off the shelf and walk me through the installation on used bike on display. In this manner Paul was able to see and answer my concerns. He never quit until I was completely satisfied. Paul wasnt the only person I pestered with my concerns including a technician I snagged on the display floor and Andy at the service desk. Everyone treated me professionally and took my concerns seriously. This is the kind of customer service that I expect and appreciate. Treatment like this is what will keep me coming back.

I emailed the dealership and had a response within a half hour. They were very courteous and upfront. Made everything really easy with no hidden fees or tricks. It took all of 15 minutes to complete everything and load the bike at the dealership. Would return 100%

I have never been to Arkport Cycles prior to this 5 Star service that I received from your service department which includes yourself and especially the tech that serviced my ATV. Your tech was able to repair all the damage caused by rodents on the electrical system and also address all other issues that where of concern on my ATV. Im sorry that I didnt catch her name. I called last weekend that I needed a bike battery. I said that I would be doing a drive by on my way to the Southern Tier and be passing through Arkport at noon. She checked & said the battery was in stock but needed to be charged. We took care of the business end over the phone. When I came in at noon, the battery was boxed and ready to go on the counter. No waiting. I was on my way. Thank you.

In order to get some warranty work done prior to the spring rush they came and picked up my Yamaha Star Venture from the Batavia area free of charge. The work was performed by Gary whos always does a great job. The rest of the service crew is always friendly and ready to help in any way they can. Thanks again for the outstanding service. I have several Yamaha shops closer to me but I stay with Arkport because of their service.
Fantastic all around experience from Adam who sold me the bike, knowledge and attention to detail was second to none. Delivery was smooth and as promised, Adam went over all features clearing and took his time with me. Unfortunately I had a minor accident, luckily I came out of it ok. My bike not so much, but again to my complete satisfaction Arkport and the service staff has been attentive to my needs. I went with my sister who was purchasing a motorcycle and I was amazed at how friendly, courteous, patient and helpful they were. Brought my bike in (2020 Street Glide) for its 1,000 mile service/check-up. Bike was returned to me in MINT condition. No oil drips, oily smudges on the chrome, no hand prints on the bike. This is just one of the reasons that I come down from Rochester to get things taken care of.

Arkport Cycles is the best dealership to purchase a bike, get parts or service. Ive been going there 17 years and have always experienced great service for my bike or supplies. It takes me about 1 hr and 15 minutes to get there. I wished they werent so far away but its always been worth the ride I could go to a closer dealership but none service customers like Arkport Cycles. Its the people that work there, that make Arkport Cycles such a great dealership to do business with. If you havent purchased anything from Arkport Cycles I know you wont be disappointed if you give them a try.
This is my third time here. I drive all the way from rochester because I like the people who work there. Being new to cycling I m not sure about many things but they treat you nice and polite. They dont talk down to you like many dealers.

We recently purchased a new Honda Rancher and new Honda Recon, along with a 3 ATV trailer from you folks. We had walked into another ATV dealer in Dansville intent on buying two ATVs and a trailer. Based on their lack of customer service, we left and decided to visit Arkport Cycles. We are glad we did! Adam Swarts was our salesman and he was great. He is very friendly and customer focused. He worked up a quote for us that DIDNT have additional charges. He has strong product knowledge and was just helpful throughout the process. We also had a very positive experience with Bonnie in your finance department. Again, you folks have been great and I am in the process of getting a quote from Adam for a third ATV. You will be getting our general maintenance business on all three machines and we will certainly give you folks a positive review to any friends or family that are looking for the products you sell.
Arkport Harley Davidson is one of the best places I know of to do business with. Whether sales parts or service they are always friendly and helpful. I took the short 170 mile round trip to Arkport Cycles after browsing multiple bike shops / stores for what seemed like forever. Luckily enough for me, Arkport Cycles has a really fantastic and fun staff. I was in and out promptly and found exactly what I was looking for. My sales guy Gary was great to work with and was a very nice guy. I REALLY enjoyed working with Rose to finish up all the paperwork. In what dealership have you ever heard that statement from a customer? Really excellent place with a large variety. Glad I did business with them!

I need shocks for my ride they were on back order for 4 to 6 weeks, no one wants their ride to sit for that long during the summer john in parts went way above and beyond his duties by finding a pair that would work for me.he just made me a life time customer i was back out riding the same day
Amazing service! With everything going on I was booked out two months for a bunch of work I wanted done. The day came I dropped my bike off, I couldnt be happier with it!! Great service and communication! They where able to work with my work schedule to get it done and back to me. Now for a nice day to take it for a ride!

I brought in wheels off my 96 LR Dyna to complete replacement of bearings i had taken down to the races and was unable to proceed, AKA a basket case. I provided the Bearings and seals purchased from you. Brought everything in on a tray, (come to think of it, i did not get back). I got the wheels back by my choice of texting notification, just under three weeks later i had said no hurry as the bike is torn down, and still is. At this time the wheels are leaning up against the bench but they are ready to go. And I thank you.Ellis
Busy place and there’s a reason why!!Good competitive prices and have that local care, can order things they dont have, still at that competitive price, I wanted a certain brand of motocross gear/apparel and the associate pulled the book out and started gladly searching for me for each price of gear to see if it was available to order!!! Very helpful with recommendations and like products! This will definitely be the local shop I go to and its a 30 minute drive for me :D
After dealing with several motorcycle dealers in the immediate Rochester area, I was really frustrated in trying to buy my first motorcycle. Fortunately, after researching the internet, I emailed Arkport Cycles and received a prompt, courteous and informative email about my interests. We discussed motorcycles I was interested in. When I decided upon one cycle in particular, I was given a full out-the-door price with an option for financing at a reasonable interest rate. Needless to say, I drove down the very next day. The actual Arkport Cycles building is a delight to walk through, including their vast collection of historic motorcycles from the 20th century. In addition to checking out the cycle that I was to eventually buy, we looked at about five other motorcycles that were closely related to it. I got to sit on them, ask numerous questions and, then, fully understand why I chose the cycle I did. I highly recommend dealing with Arkport Cycles. Their prices were much better than the ones in Rochester, but more importantly, their service, courteous and extremely knowledgeable, was heads and shoulders above what I found here in town.

I am about a size 3x in normal clothes, which means its basically not a possibility to buy womans riding gear that will fit me. I talked with Jenny several months ago, there werent any jackets in stock that would fit me. Went above and beyond looking through books and making a phone call while I was still in the store to see if there was any way she could order more extended size jackets to accommodate me and other women like me. She placed the order and I went out with my husband and tried on the jacket it fit perfectly. Unfortunately life happens and I wasnt able to pick it up for a few months but it was still sitting on the rack and so I was able to get the jacket I wanted. Not only does it fit me I dont have to roll up the sleeves like I do when I wear a mens jacket. I know there are options available online but I didnt want the hassle of having to try to return a jacket if it didnt fit. It was nice to be able to go in the store try it on make sure if fit and then be able to purchase at walk out with it that day. Its the only place Ive been able to find anything that accommodates a larger female frame, I know lots of other women that struggle with this issue so it was very nice to finally find someone whos willing to help us out so that we can enjoy riding just like everybody else. We already body shame ourselves enough we dont need help by anybody else when were trying to find close it accommodate us so that we can ride and be safe at the same time. Brian is they type of salesman I like. I went in not looking to buy a motorcycle. I wanted to get an idea of what would fit me. I told Brian what i wanted the motorcycle for. What types of bikes that didnt fit me. He showed me bike and we looked at one that was hard to pass up. I ended up purchasing the motorcycle. The whole time Brian did not push me into it at all. My wife and I came to pickup a part and as we looked around your store we found much more than we expected. I have been searching for a pair of railroad style boots that fit me, and was able to find a pair. Also found a hat that matches a hoodie I recently purchased. You have a nice assortment of clothing, many styles we had not seen in any other Harley dealerships we have been to. Your people were very friendly and helpful. The part I picked up was unavailable in most stores but I was able to get it there. Thank you for a great experience.

Great staff and great customer service. After I brought in two Arctic cat snowmobiles for repair I noticed a job on one had not been completed upon pickup. Not only did they take the sled back and do the missed repair at no charge but they also went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with my service. Cant thank them enough.

This is an ALL STAR team all the way around! The level of sincere customer service is something I have not found in a place (not just motorcycles) but anywhere in a long time. Brian & Bonnie made the transaction so smooth with zero pressure. Brian answered every question no matter now trivial or basic. No games at all. Easy test drive when we got to that stage. Their genuine honesty for customer service and sales stems from their owner and it greatly shows throughout. I met Tom in Parts, Andy in service and every employee that walked by genuinely said hello. The place felt instantly like a home or a place to just stop in, grab a coffee and chat on a long ride. Adam is a very polite young man. He had the bike ready for me, answered all my questions, Assisted with the finance process. I have been back a few times after purchasing the bike for different things and he always greets me. The store in general is a great place. I have ordered parts in the past and they are very good with getting things done in a timely manner and also very polite. First time visitor to Arkport Cycles. One of the best customer service experiences that Ive ever had. Andy in the service department was very helpful and took the time to talk to me about my bike, which I recently bought used from a private seller. And the quoted price for a 5,000 mile check and detailing service was very reasonable. While walking around the showroom, staff people welcomed me and offered assistance. While I was admiring the collection of classic bikes, John the owner, stopped and chatted with me about the collection. And if that wasnt enough, the complementary coffee and homemade baked goods were a nice treat as well. Overall, very good customer service, reasonable prices, and a great value.

Arkport cycle did a great hob servicing my motorcycle. We have been a customer for years and they always do a great job taking care of them.
I called the store and I believe it was Jim who helped me. I was in the store the previous day, but was with my husband and could not ask for help. I needed a vest for my husband for Christmas and they did not have his size. Jim went searching for the vest I wanted, kept in contact with me throughout all he was doing to get the vest for me. Asked Jenny to place the order, which she did, and it was here in time for Christmas. Great customer service and attention to detail on both their parts. Totally appreciate their efforts.... wonderful job!!!

I have 3 dealerships much closer to where I live. I much perfur to drive the extra distance to shop at Arcport. The stock is above average compared to the others in the area. The real plus is the staff. They are all friendly and go out of their way to besure you find what you nees without being pushey. I look forward to my next visit to the store.

Great dealership, all sorts of powersports available, as well as excellent riding in the area. The owner and staff are quite friendly as well as knowledgeable. Great selection available of equipment, merchandise, parts and clothing. Special events are fairly regular, with food and socialization a aplenty. This store is a great resource for this area.
Unless your buying a harley or going in for service, look elsewhere. Tried buying a used Honda and it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to help me. Then when they did help they couldnt do anything without a sales manager (who you cannot talk to). I did enjoy their service department when I needed work on my bike, but I will never buy here.
I had a problem with my bike blowing fuses that local shop soaked me $100 and didnt fix. My brother in law suggested your shop. Its 2 hrs from my home and worth every mile!!! Quickly repaired bike and also did recall work that I wasnt aware of. The next year had an intermittent problem which with some crafty detective work from the mechanic, repaired as well. Your shop is the only one I use even though there are many closer. I KNOW my bike will be fixed for a very reasonable price and done right. All of the staff are excellent and I cant thank you enough for your kindness, integrity and exceptional work!

Andy recently helped me with warranty work on our Roxor. He was patient and flexible with my numerous questions and concerns. We had a wheeling trip scheduled and were worried about not getting the buggy back in time. We picked it up, good as new, on our way out of town.

Hello, For me it began with a transmission overhaul with my 1990 Softail in 2018. The repair was outstanding! Last year I purchased my 2014 ultra limited from Adam. The buying process is easy breezy all the staff that Ive met thus far has been outstanding. This year I decided to trade in my 2014 and step up to a roadglide. This Friday Im meeting with Adam at 8am to sign paperwork, thanks so much!
My family has bought several machines, right here at Arkport Cycles and not once have any of us had any complaints. My very first quad (scrambler 90) was bought here, but also in ‘13 my ‘13 YFZ450 was special ordered and bought right here, and then again just this past week (12/20/19) I purchased my 2019 Sportsman Highlifter 1000.. Such a great and friendly staff, they are outgoing, fun, and a VERY respectful team of people!!! Gary my salesman, was extremely professional not to forget super quick with the whole process from start to finish. Highly recommend checking into this company if your in the market or looking at buying ANY make or model of motorsports.. If they don’t have it, they will track it down and locate it for you!!! Traveled down to Arkport from Rochester on recommendation from friends to buy my first bike. Glad I made the long trip. Jenny talked with me for a long time about what kind of bike I should get and all the things I would need. After two visits to the showroom, I made a purchase. Jenny and the entire staff were very helpful. The prices here are reasonable and the service is tremendous. Despite the hour and a half drive, I still take my bike here to have it serviced every year.

I had been a loyal customer of another local H-D dealership since moving to the region in 2012. I suppose you could say I still am, but after shopping around for a specific trike and finding the only suitable one at Arkport Cycles, I had to check them out. A couple of friends told me of their universally positive experiences with Arkport, and that was enough to make me take the one-hour ride to Hornell. The service department at Arkport is excellent. Everyone is friendly and helpful. It snowed earlier the day I was going to drop the bike off for service. Arkport sent a truck to pick up the bike. Andy was also very helpful with tech support in setting up the SiriusXM radio installed as part of the service. There are two Harley dealerships closer to where I live, but I will continue to go to Arkport for service and bike purchases.

I have visited many HD dealerships and this, by far is the BEST and friendliest. Went to look at a bike from Rochester and they set out 5 bikes for me to ride and I didnt buy one. The manager sat with me and helped me, provided objective pros and cons and was entirely focused on my satisfaction.

I was looking for a part for my Road King that is no longer available - I spoke with Jim in Parts and showed him a picture of what I was trying to do. He spent at least 30-40 mins looking, calling, cross-referencing and we came up empty. He said he would be checking some other sources and get back to me. I kind of figured it was a lost cause and went about winter life here in Western NY. Two days ago I get a call from Jim...I found a source shall I order it? Amazing! My parts are on their way as we speak...Go to Arkport you wont be sorry!

I recently had a warranty issue addressed with the drive chain on my 2019 Yamaha Tracer GT. I checked with the local dealer closest to where i live first and they immediately said no, a chain is a not covered. I then called Paul at Arkport Cycles on a Saturday for a second opinion. He took my name, number, VIN number and offered to check with Yamaha on Monday. I greatly appreciate how Paul went out of his way when the local dealer near me didnt offer to check and wouldnt bother even when i asked them to. Turns out Yamaha approved the repair and Paul called to tell me he ordered the chain. I was very thankful and happy to make the 250 mile round trip to Arkport Cyles from Syracuse.

Awesome place the sales person (Gary) I had was great he tried his hardest to get me a ATV with there bank but the bank was very unhelpful so he held the ATV for me and I when to my bank and that was on a Friday and the next Monday I was approved and called Gary up and told him and he came in to work on his day off to finish the deal thanks for all the help

Richard Gray was my salesman, sold me a Sportster explained the bike very well set up a test ride and then financing. Was only there about a hour and a half. Great purchase experience.
I know this review is to help AC better their customer relationship but I really dont know how they could improve. We (2 bikers) had an emergency on 6/2 that needed to be resolved so we could go on vacation. Paul in service was able to get both of us in and serviced both our bikes even though they were short handed that day. Thats what I call excellent customer service! Definitely recommend their dealership!

I actually went in with some friends to just look at jackets, then saw the Africa Twin that I wanted. Asked for a quick trade in quote and pricing for my bike and since the numbers all lined up I was able to drive my new bike out the same day!!
Traci waited on me for the purchase of a battery. She found the proper battery quickly...checked other options; instructed me on how to fill and charge the battery; and how to safely handle it while carrying it from the store. She is always helpful and professional in the service she provides. Andy ran a charge and analysis of my old battery before determining that it needed to be replaced. This is my go to place for motorcycle related work and has been for years. Gary is the mechanic who usually works on my bike and he always explains the what and why of the repairs and preventative maintenance .

Picked up my bike from storage, started home..speedometer/odometer didnt work . Turned around went back to shop. Paul & Andy pulled it right in to work on it. Needed a sensor they didnt have in stock. Ordered the part. I took the bike home & Andy will call when the sensor is in . I can take it down & wait to have it replaced ...roughly 20 min. I purchased a used bike and had only 15 miles on it when I had an oil problem. I contacted Adam and the next morning they came and got the bike. They had it fixed and brought back to me in a week. Adam is always very friendly and great to work with all the way around. I would highly recommend using this dealership for any kind of fun you are looking for on wheels.
Poor service high prices.took my used yamaha 4 wheeler that i purchesed for a tune up and check over and requested a few things specifically. Only did half of the thing asked to do and charged 800 dollars for front brakes air filter and oil change. Plastic put back together sloppy and poor attention to detail overall! Will find better business elsewhere

I can not say enough good about this dealership. Adam Swarts communication with me and what he said made me drive 4 hours to deal with him. 2022-05-25Straight forward and easy experience. I Knew what I wanted, they had, I brought my own financing and they all double triple check paperwork is in order. Adam helped me with the sale and was very thorough with going over the bike.Was well worth the 5.5 hour drive from Long Island!! The office (finanace and tag lady , sorry forgot name) was very patient and pleasant and was multi tasking which is rare to see now adays. A++ for the whole staff!

2022-05-26Whenever I go into Arkport everyone is nice and happy to help, I always get what I need within reason, and they know what they are talking about. The service dept is always willing to help as much as they can. The salespeople arent pushy and are respectful and Jennifer, John and Adam are just all-around great people to deal with. Megan in service always has a great attitude. and Mike is very helpful. The parts Dept people are all very knowledgeable and they dont try to sell you something you dont need. All in all, its just a great place to deal with as well as great people to deal with

2022-03-20HI! Wanted to share my exceptional buying experience with you folks. I had been in the market for an ADV Bike and found some used models you had and I was interested in looking at. I texted you to see about a time to meet and Adam got right back to me and he arranged to be available to meet me based on my schedule. When I arrived I was super impressed to find out that this was actually Adams day off and he came in to meet me! I dont think there are any sales folks who would do that for a customer, let alone someone off the street whom they have never met! When we met we looked at the used model i was interested in I explained to Adam that I was really in the market for a new Yamaha Tenere 700 but I could not find one. To my surprise and excitement, Adam told me he just got confirmation on one from Yamaha just several days prior and I immediately put a deposit on it! Adam made the process easy and he kept right in touch with me on ETA of its arrival. Could not be more happy with the purchase and buying experience. 2022-04-13They were both alsome and politely and easy going we with me . Jennifer even skipped her lunch to sit and talk to me about the two bikes I was interested in and didnt even bat an eye and was even the same way when I came back with my bike for the trade in.
