Hello,My name is Gregory Sander, I would highly recommend using Amour Heating and cooling. Ok here is how the story goes.Anyone who knows me knows that I am very picky. I look for attention to detail and quality workmanship as I would do for anyone else. Well I have found a company that does just that. I sent a request via google to Amour Heating and Cooling on a Sunday. The following Monday I had spoke with a gentleman named Tom. We set up an appointment for an estimate. Tom had come to the house and proceeded to educate me on what had been happening with my 11 year old Carrier unit. See the duct work was the original to the house from 1958 and was only a 4 inch in diameter. The unit could not exhale the way that it needed to and may have been over heating the cabinet which lessened the life of the induction motor. I never knew this could happen until I spoke with Tom. Tom was very honest and had told me that they could replace the duct work and then repair the 11 year old unit. I had made the decision to replace the duct work and the unit seeing they were already removing the existing Plenum and duct work. The crew (Greg and Collin) from Amour cooling and Heating were very professional and always on time. The guys had answered any questions I asked at the time they were here. At the end of the day the crew had cleaned up after themselves removed the trash and had vacuumed the floor. They came back the next day to finish up the minor details of the job everything that had been explained to me was completed. I have to say that I was very impressed with the quality of their workmanship. Their attention to detail was amazing. The guys went through and explained everything from the controls to the minor home owner maintenance to me before they left. Hands down you will not find a better company to deal with than Amour Heating and Cooling. Excellent job. Workers arrived on time, completed the job as described, cleaned up and reviewed all the details necessary to operate and adjust the humidity controls.The finished install included a complete rebuild of the central cold air return to maximize airflow and the efficiency of our furnace and A/C unit, and installed an Aprilaire Whole House Humidifier.Can’t say enough about the quality workmanship and attention to detail the installers displayed. Lastly, the final bill was under the original estimate and the attached photos show the completed job.Armor Heating: Reliable, trustworthy and their maintenance and warranty service is top notch!Respectfully, WNY 20+ year satisfied customer!
On time, professional, reasonable and an absolute pleasure to work with. The team took great care with the house and left the basement neater than they found it, cleaning up every spec of dust that resulted from the installation. Installation went exactly as advertised and right on time. I would give 6 stars were that an option

The power went out last night for over two hours. Our generator kicked on and we were the envy of the neighborhood. It was a hot muggy night and our mini spilts continued to provide us cool air. Glad we got the bigger generator because I was still able to use my hot tub:). We feel confident that when we travel for the winter our place will continue to be heated and our pipes won’t freeze if there are power outages. Thank you Tom for steering us in the right direction.
Update - AC compressor stopped working overnight. Called Armor at 8am. They had a tech here by 2pm same day and had faulty part replaced and AC back working within 30 minutes. Outstanding service and wouldnt think of using anyone else!I had a furnace with a failing secondary heat exchanger that was only working sporadically. Tom (owner) contacted me after my online inquiry even though he was out of town. He made my situation a priority. While another vendor was trying to sell me an undersized furnace because thats what they had in inventory, Tom was able to get the properly sized replacement furnace from Carrier that evening and had it installed in less than 48 hours......all on a verbal agreement! The crew was on time, courteous, professional and cleaned up afterwards! The installation crew removed the unsightly drain hoses and hack job bottom ducts that the original vendor put in and replaced with pvc piping and new bottom ducts with filter racks. They even installed a new power switch on the furnace so we dont have to turn the breaker off if service is needed in the future. I would never consider anyone other than Armor Heating. They are simply the best!
A++Installed Mitsubishi ductless A/C system. After several heating and cooling company estimates, went with Tom’s from Armor Heating. Price was right, service outstanding!Terry and Mike did the install, were very respectful and always wore mask while inside. Cleaned up as they worked (left house cleaner the they found it!)We love finally having a cool home! Highly recommend Armor Heating👍

Armor replaced my furnace and central air conditioner. The crew was on time, very professional, and very respectful of being in my house. They initially took off their shoes and put down a drop cloth from the doorway to the basement. They cleaned as they worked to prevent spreading the debris. This was a big installation that modified ducting, re-used an existing humidifier and re-used an existing electrostatic filter. Their installation is much more professional than what was replaced. All the piping and wiring is perfectly routed and secured. They labeled everything and did an overall fantastic job. The system is quiet, nothing rattles, and it is doing a great job air conditioning the house. They file the warranty paperwork and take care of all the administration as well. My neighbors recommended Armor to me and I continue recommending them to anyone who needs a service they provide. Also, Armor installed the whole house generator for the previous owner. It has been trouble free for the years we have lived here.

I’ve used Armor heating in the past and as always I was 100% happy with their service . My Central air quit after 20 years of service which AH installed , they came out an hour after I called them and had the new unit installed a week later. Their install was very professional , payed attention to detail and didn’t leave until everything check out ok and answered all my questions. I will definitely use them in the future

Armor has been servicing my old AC and Furnace for the 15 years Ive owned my home. Theyve always been honest and fair to me. When I got the news that my AC needed to be replaced from my regular serviceman, Steve, I knew it was the truth. Armor was fantastic to work with, from the initial consult to the day-of process for our A/C install. The guys were knowledgeable, clean, friendly, quiet, respectful, and tidied up when they were done. I worked the whole time they were here. Also I love that they take credit cards and there’s no business extra cost. So many companies pass the credit card fees onto you, the client, and even if the service has been great, it winds up feeling yucky. Tom and the team are all class, and very responsive, too. They also were very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!!
Armor installed a whole house Honeywell Generator for us. The workers, Mike and Josh , were courteous and explained everything they were doing. Put cloths down to protect our floors. Explained every step of the way what they were doing. Afterwards, Mike showed us how everything worked and answered ALL of our questions. Tom came out for a quote on replacing a 28 year A/C unit as the A/C was on borrowed time. Tom examined what we had and made several recommendations to improvements for our chimney, ducts and a/c unit. We quickly could tell Tom was speaking from experience, not just doing a sales pitch. Fully confident the job was going to be right. I would highly recommend Armor Heating! The did an incredible job sizing and installing a new furnace and A/C unit as well as installing new cold air returns throughout the house. The team returned a few days later to resolve some small issues and tweak the system. The install was super clean and the team was super professional. The price couldnt have been better! Amazing job! We are finally comfortable in the house after 15 years!

The installation team was very professional, thoughtful, and friendly. Last week our furnace finally stopped working. Armor Heating came over within a few hours and let us know that it was probably time to get it replaced. They were able to do the entire job 12 hours later! Not only did they do a fantastic job, they also noticed some issues we had with our hot water tank. The service men quickly replaced a few vents and hoses for us ensuring that we wouldn’t have problems in the future and gave me a peace of mind knowing that these issues could of been a significant safety issue for our home and family. I recently had my old central air conditioning replaced with a new Heil air conditioning system by Armor Heating. Tom was very thorough and shared his expertise in central air systems to best assess my homes needs in completing the estimate for the job. Great Service! The two gentlemen that installed the new furnace were very professional. They used drop cloths to protect the floors, and removed boots to install the thermostat in the hallway. I have an “unusual” situation... our house has no basement. They had no problem working in the tight quarters. This is our second furnace from Armor. They let me know about the 20 year Carrier warranty on the original heat exchanger, and arranged for an inspection just before the 20 years were up. So... we were able to take advantage of the Carrier trade in program. They also sent me the paperwork for the National Fuel rebate! The work was completed in a timely fashion, and there were no additional charges beyond the estimate amount.
Armor Heating is always our first and only call for all of our heating/cooling needs in our home. We have had four large installations completed by the Armor team, in addition to maintenance and other repair work, and each and every experience has been top notch. Every person on the Armor team is professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. The team always starts by explaining the project and answering all of your questions, and they take extra care when working in your home by protecting floors with drop cloths and leaving the work area immaculate when the work is complete. Just had them install a new high efficiency furnace. They arrived on time and completed the job as scheduled, very neat and cleaned up afterwards. The estimator (Tom) was very professional and didnt try to sell us anything we really didnt need. I ask about the cost for extending a heat line in my basement rec room and was not charged for the extra work. Tom also stopped by to make sure everything was what I wanted done during the installation. I have used another heating company for years for repairs but now its Armor Heating. I highly recommend them, great job at a great price.

My generator needed maintenance, cause some of the yellow light was starting to show. Hmm ??? So, I called Armor Heating Co., cause I used them last yr., & was very impressed w/ them. Just had Armor over for a new boiler and water heater. Can’t praise the professionalism of both the sales people and the installation crew. They replaced two 34-year old furnaces. They arrived early, quietly removed the old equipment through a narrow stairwell without incident, and installed the new equipment, also without incident. The quality of work was impeccable. They left the area clean and explained necessary maintenance and safety procedures. Very efficient and professional. Top marks all around.
Tom is great, professional, calls you right back. Put in a generator, and new furnace. Filled. out all the paperwork for the rebate on the new furnace. The generator is a Godsend in Boston, NY. Absolutely no complains or problems.
There are so many options to consider when contracting for major heating and cooling installation. Who can you trust...what do you really need, will you feel pressured, will you get a fair price, etc. Met with Tom and he took a lot of time to explain what we needed, and why our old system had failed at equalizing heat throughout our 2-story home. For a nominal cost we needed to enlarge our ductwork in order to have the furnace operate as it was intended! (We had a replacement furnace installed 20 years ago and not one mention of the ductwork!).In the end we had a new furnace with correct ducts installed, as well as a central A/C, which we never had the luxury of before. The workers were amazing...arrived all 3 days right on time, were very knowledgeable, used protective floor coverings, were very personable, and respected the current Covid precautions. They worked non-stop for 2+ days. Explained how everything works and what to know for summer/winter use.Extremely pleased with the entire process from start to finish. Trust has to be earned, and Tom and Armor Heating certainly gained our trust!Thanks to Tom and the entire crew!
Working with Armor Heat was great. We were looking to upgrade our electric heat and we had the Ductless Heat Pump System installed. Dave did a great job telling us how it works. Prompt with estimate. When we agreed to the job everything was like Dave had given on the proposal. Terry and Gregg did a great job with the installation. We have used Armor Heating over the years through many renovations. Recently we added a master bed/bath and Armor installed zone heat/ac for this area. We recently had Armor do 2 separate jobs for us:1. Replace a dead hot water tank - when they heard we had no hot water, they found a way to come out same day without any extra emergency charges.2. Replace a 50yr old three zone boilerThe quotation process was very transparent. They explained pros/cons of various features without trying to upsell me. For the quality and the ease of doing business with them, their prices are great. I cannot recommend them highly enough!
There are not enough good things to say about this company. Had a Tech (Frank) at the house very polite, honest and on time. Had an issue with a pipe leaking water from a faulty valve on the boiler. Frank explained everything and was honest the whole way through. He was very professional and fixed the issue and went above and beyond. Then a week later had a unrelated heating issue. Called Armor at 7pm on a Wednesday and had a on-call tech (Steve) to the house within the hour to fix the issue. Steve was very polite and honest and explained what was happening and fixed the problem. This company is great. Can’t recommend them enough.

Installed Mitsubishi Ductless A/C System in August 2020, price was reasonable and went with Armor Heating & Plumbing because reputation and family owned and operated. Installers Terry and Mike were very professional, most informative, included me in every decision, gave me their opinions based upon many years of experience and answered every question I asked. Their installation was a very neat appearance and cleaned up when finished , quality work. We were able to enjoy the system during the very warm and humid Summer of 2020....would recommend Armor without any hesitation!! Great Job !!
I would highly recommend Armor Heating for furnace and air conditioning replacement. Tom was very helpful in explaining my options and the pros and cons of each. Armor gave me the best price of the 3 companies who provided estimates. Mike and Scott arrived on time and were very efficient and polite. They did not take any shortcuts such as reusing old copper piping between the condenser and coil for the AC. And they were also very patient in answering all of my questions. The work was completed in less than a full day including a thorough clean up. All in all a very positive experience.
My 83 year old mother’s furnace stopped working on Saturday night last weekend. She had a furnace man look at her furnace who told her that because the part would cost upwards of $1000.00 plus labor costs, it would be best to replace her 9 year old furnace to the tune of $3,500.00, and that he could do it on Sunday. Armor Heat had installed her furnace so I called Tom on Saturday afternoon, and he told me her furnace had a full warranty for parts and labor and that it would cost her only the price of a service call to diagnose the problem, and her furnace was fixed by Armor on Sunday morning before noon. Thank goodness for Armor Heat and their quick repair and honesty! 😊

Armor has come out a couple of times over the years to repair or maintain my old furnace. They were always helpful and fairly priced. They never pressured me into upgrading equipment which I appreciated.Every summer I dreamed of the day when I might have central AC and this year I finally went for it.Since my furnace was almost 20 years old and causing me seasonal anxiety I decided to have it replaced and to have AC installed.I’d received a quote from another company who was out to do some plumbing work. The back of my house was always cold and they assured me they could install fans or something to push more air to the back of the house.I decided to get a quote from Armor and explained the back of the house issue to them as well. They discovered that I had no ductwork running to the back of the house. Whoever added the addition prior to me living here made holes in the wall that looked like it should be connected to something but it wasn’t.Running the ductwork involved climbing in a creepy crawl space accessed through my creepy basement. Armor showed no fear in completing this mission.I now am now chillin like a villain in my central AC. I look forward to not having to use a series of fake fireplaces to heat up the back of my house this winter.Long story short, Armor’s service was priced well, efficient, on time, on schedule, friendly and most of all brave.Thanks guys!
I own a rental property and the heating unit for the lower apt. required service. I had contacted a different company originally and received their quotes to replace/repair the unit. I was very unhappy with the pricing and the explanation of why the required services cost this much. I then was put in contact with Armor Heating and received a drastically different experience and pricing for the repair. Through their service I was able to save $1500-$2300 (quoted 2 different options for the repair) on the repair and have the unit repaired the next day. I cant thank Armor Heating enough for their response and service.
They replaced my furnace, air conditioner, thermostat, and air filter. The 2 gentlemen that did the work were very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves well. They were very good at explaining how to properly operate all the new equipment. I would highly recommend Armor Heating for your HVAC needs.
As I began to conduct my due diligence on the complexities of a new boiler –BWB120 - I contacted Armor Heating several times for additional information over the course of a year. It was pleasing and comforting to have David Young, Sales Associate from Armor Heating, visit my home three times to “explain and show” what would be installed. Incidentally, I also contacted another heating contractor for a similar quote, but declined to have them perform the installation. The installation by Armor Heating was done safely, quickly, and to my satisfaction. I talked, during the day of installation, to several of the installation men who took the time to fully explain the new thermostats, the boiler dial reading numbers, in an easy to understand manor. You can’t go wrong if you select Armor Heating for your next heating, cooling, or generator needs.
We recently had a new full house generator installed By Armor . From the first visit for the quote right to the installation and test run everyone involved both with Armor and their electrical contractor (Simoncelli) kept us aware of the work going on and were polite with minium inconvience. Armor heating responded quickly and took care of the serious issue. Their employees were knowledgeable and caring. Tom, the owner, personally came to oversee the work being done to make sure everything went smoothly for us, which was reassuring considering we have a 10 month old. My old air conditioner stopped working. Called Armor, whom I have used before, they were out immediately. Repairman replaced two parts and I paid the bill. Unfortunately the correction didnt work. I purchased a new one and they installed it quickly and professionally, plus took off the cost of the parts they had previously installed...who does that. Kudos Armor
Armor Heating Company has integrity. I purchased a furnace from them several year ago and continue to use them for maintenance / service. They have been honest about the necessity / frequency of maintenance and never push for unnecessary maintenance / parts. In fact, several times they have told me it was unnecessary to change out the filter - because it did not need it! Their service people (Nick and Jacob) are courteous, polite, respectful, and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them. It is refreshing to work with a company of integrity.5 months later and I am still recommending Armor. I just employed them to install an A/C unit for my home. It was another quality job by Armor. The installers were once again courteous, polite, respectful and knowledgeable.
We had a replacement furnace and air conditioner installed (furnace was 22 years old and AC wasnt keeping up due to leaks from poor installation by previous contractor). Staff was very helpful and upfront in explaining our options, and the removal of the old equipment and installation of the new equipment went off without a hitch. Terry, Aaron, and Conner did an excellent job with the entire install! Everything is working great!
Tom worked with us to select the best HVAC system for our needs and gave us a great price. Terry and the crew from Armor did a great job installing our new furnace and air conditioner. Workmanship was excellent and they took care to keep our house clean when moving equipment in and out. Our new Carrier air conditioner works much better than our old unit and is super quiet. We dont even know when it is running. Cant wait to get our emergency generator installed.
In June of 2020, our A/C unit died. We needed to have a new AC unit and furnace installed. We obtained three quotes. The other 2 companies spent about 5 minutes at our house. Armor Heating (Tom Kam) spent over 60. He went through the entire house to determine our needs. The other companies claimed that they would be able to install both within one day. After describing the work that needed to be completed, Tom explained that he would schedule 2 days. Even with this difference in scheduling, there was little difference in price (all 3 quotes were relatively similar - Armor was in the middle). When we made our decision and went with Armor, we were a month out from installation. We literally went through the hottest month (July 2020) in WNY history without AC. The installation and customer service made it totally worth it. Tom called and checked the day after installation was complete to make sure that we were satisfied. He registered the products for the warranty and completed the paperwork for the rebate. It is 100% evident that this company is building a relationship, not simply looking at a one-time transaction.
The initial assessment was right on. I had been experiencing cold draftytemperatures in my house for years. I even had the attic insulated to noavail. Armor Heating explained it was my furnace that was contributing to my unhappy living situation in my house. Tom explained which furnacewould be most appropriate for the size of my home. He was also saving me money with the low cost electrical use and money saved on the efficiency furnace.The two young men who installed my new furnace, Scott and Connor, are true heating professionals. They were very courteous even with me asking all sorts of question and they were very knowledgeable about their jobs. My finished furnace install looks like a piece of art work. Its a beautiful display of efficiency that I have ever seen. The electrical, plumbing and heating elements were expertly installed. They even ran a PVC pipe to drain the condensation from the furnace into the concrete floor. I will never have to deal with the condensation from furnace or air conditioner ever again. Thats not to forget how well they installed theventing of the furnace out the side of the house. Again expert!!! I highly recommend this company for heating and air conditioning.
Reasons to Buy HVAC from Armor Heating Company:1.Who and How: The installation and how it is done is critical. After much research, I found out all the fine points for getting a new HVAC system and Armor qualified for ALL of them!2.Ownership of company: Tom is old school, honest and direct. He will tell you exactly what you need to know and will not over or under sell you. He told me the Carrier 13 Seer A/C was fine for my needs and was much cheaper than the 16 Seer. But, I went with the 16 Seer because I wanted an upgrade. Tom did not talk me into it or upsell. Of course it was one of the coldest weekends of the year but one phone call, a service visit within five hours, an excellent technician advised me of my options and I had a new furnace installed the next day. We had a quote from 3 years ago. We liked the time they had spent with us and not just trying to convince us to use them. They were a solid quote, and when we finally said it was time this is the company we went with. The installers were professional and knowledgeable. They did a great job and we are beyond happy with the system. The summer heat is bearable now. Our new HVAC and AC run great. It gets cold air to our 2nd story home. I had a couple companys come out and give me estimates for heating and cooling. When I met with Tom for an estimate it was like meeting with a family member. It didnt feel like a sales pitch, or product pushing. Which I REALLY REALLY like. It just made everything more comfortable. Everything was installed quickly and cleanly! The guys that did the installation were so helpful, informative and nice! I have pets, and they were super cautious of them when they were coming in and out of the house, which again is super important to me. The products I purchased were eligible for a rebate, Tom had all of my paperwork ready for me to be filled out and sent, and within a couple weeks I had my rebate! The whole process was just so smooth, easy, and comfortable. I cant say enough good things.
Tom, the owner, came to my house to look at my furnace. Its 22 years old and I was having a problem with it. I assumed I would need a new furnace. He looked it over, said I need a new battery (AAA) , installed it (No charge)and told me I have years left on my furnace. WOW! Such honesty. I am SO impressed, but not surprised. We were most impressed with the service techs at Armor who were able to get our broken old air conditioner running with a temporary band-aid until they could return with a brand new replacement unit — in the middle of a withering hot spell. We had our new furnace installed and I was satisfied with the entire process. We live in an 1850s farmhouse and had an old Heil furnace that was installed in 1980 and having some issues. It was clear that it was time for an upgrade. We called and the response was prompt. Dave Young came out and did a thorough survey and explained what was needed to install a new moderm high efficiency gas furnace. His knowledge and straightforward demeanor inspired confidence in the design. The price quote was fair and reasonable and we set an installation date for the following week. The team of Scott and Aaron arrived as scheduled for the installation. They were friendly and efficient and overcame several quirks with the install due to the age and construction of the house. It was clear that they were both knowledgeable and capable craftsmen. They did an excellent job, answered all my questions, cleaned up after themselves and left us with a much improved heating system.

Had a generator installed. . They were very punctual, laid down cloths to protect floors. Worked at a great pace, very friendly and respectful. They do great work and took the time to explain the equipment how they installed equipment, how to take care of the equipment. I have used this company for a fuel oil furnace service work. We replaced that with a gas furnace when natural gas came to our street.We then got rid of the hot water system in 2014 and went with a forced air system AC and Heat.Armor heat has always been fair on pricing , prompt quality work and they clean up when done. I have been a satisfied customer for 18 years. They also alerted me to some National Fuel rebates which helped with the cost.

Tom Kam ( co-owner) is very knowledgeable about whole house back -up generators, he assessed my requirements and sized a Honeywell Generator and transfer switching. He explained what to expect during installation.and answered all my detailed questions.The installation went flawlessly Mike the crew leader made sure the details were all addressed from keeping my basement and house entrance neat while installing over 100 feet of internal gas piping. The external installation site of the generator was also very neat including the caulking of utility entry openings. A thorough explanation operation and maintenance of my new generator was also provided.All electrical connections to my main panels were all neatly and professionally completed by Simoncelli Electric Inc.I am very happy for a job very well done at at very fair price.

Armor replace our furnace and some ductwork about 8 years ago. They replaced our central air 5 months ago. I waited to write a review and I can honestly say everything works great and we are very satisfied. Their work is excellent, and they have been very responsive to any and all questions we had.
I had a new furnace installed. The old was taken out, new one in and a new thermostat put in a more effective spot than the old all within 4 hours. The guys walked me through all components on furnace and thermostat that i’d need to know. I was also informed and knew what to expect on all the warranty and financial paperwork. The house is under major construction with messes and obstacles in every room. They worked around it all no problem and cleaned up all their materials. Would highly recommend for great customer service, quality products and systematic and productive workers!
If you go anywhere else for heating and cooling services then you arent going to experience the best value for your money. Armor was 1 of 3 estimates I had and hands down was the best. Not only did they save me several hundred dollars but they pointed out issues I had with the ductwork. They fixed that issue, added 2 returns and 1 supply vent, and added some additional ductwork to the 2nd furnace, and still beat the other estimates by hundreds. The work was completed professionally and they removed the old system and cleaned up the work area better than it was before the replacement. Dont go anywhere else without giving Armor a chance. Youd be hard pressed to find better than these guys.

I was told it was a 2 day job but they had the old furnace out & the new one in the same day .They arrived on time & on the date I was told. Very neat , they laid down tarps on the stairs & where they walked. The guys were polite , answered all my questions during and after completion of work .As far as the furnace they installed all I have to say is when the furnace kicks on my curtains move , never happen before. I recently had a new Heil furnace installed by Armor Heating. I chose Armor as they installed my previous Carrier furnace which operated flawlessly for 24 years. The old furnace could have been repaired, but I made the decision to purchase a new furnace as I felt that the old furnace would probably have further failing parts in the future and I would rather invest that money in a new furnace.After my phone call, Tom Kam, the owner, came promptly to my home to assess the state of my current furnace and gave me what I consider to be a very reasonable price on a new furnace.An appointment was made and two men came as scheduled and promptly installed the new furnace. They did a great job. They ran the unit through a complete cycle to make sure it was working properly. They also showed me how to set the controller and how to maintain the furnace.The new furnace is great. It runs quietly and the temperature in the house is very comfortable (no cold spots).I would highly recommend Armor to anyone looking for a quality furnace installation.
We lost our home to a fire in 2016. As the house was rebuilt, we used Armor Heating to replace all of the HVAC systems. Impeccable work and wonderful crew answered all the questions we had. In the fall of 2018 we had them come back and install a Honeywell whole house backup generator. The installation on this was unbelievable. The meticulous work that went into running over 50 feet of 1 gas pipe above our suspended ceiling in the basement was a thing of beauty!! You could never tell they were there. Last week we had a massive power outage which lasted 24 hours. Our house was a beacon in the night while the rest of the neighbor hood was in the dark, we were loving life! I could not recommend Armor more. You wont be disappointed !!!!!

My daughters a/c was not working. I had someone a friend of mine who he knew come out and said the compressor was shot..Options were to pay $800 for the compressor or get a new a/c. I called Armor at 9 am and by11:30 they showed up. Paul had me turn the A/c on and he immediately said it wasn’t the compressor and within 5 minutes replaced the capacitor and it was running. He never checked the compressor because as soon as heard humming he knew it was fine and it was the capacitor. He also had a 4” furnace filter on his truck which I haven’t Been able to find. Thank you for your service and I’ll sit back and a couple of beers without the stress

Middle of winter, my Carrier furnace dies. Our company who installed it says they hope toward end of day (About 8 hours) they could get someone out. I had my furnace serviced by Mark today. He diagnosed the problem quickly. Im a do it yourselfer and have fixed my furnace in the past. But I would have never figured this one out. I have friends who use to be service techs in the past and I called them and they said they wouldnt have figured that one out. My grandmother called for an estimate, they pressured her into a sale before she could talk to her family. The furnace works fine however they vented it dead center of her back patio which is the only area she has to sit outside. She doesnt leave the house much so this is really the only place she can be outside. It was a lazy and inconsiderate move. I recommend going with someone else.

I couldnt recommend them enough! Ive been using Armor for several years now and keep going back to them for two reasons: they are honest and they will not gouge you. The first time I used them was over 2 years ago to recharge my 16 year old AC: they billed me a fraction of what another local company wanted to charge me. Since then I have used them for several other things, including replacing that AC once it broke beyond repair and replacing a damper inside my duct work, their technicians have always been knowledgeable, patient, and frankly just very nice! In addition, they have never tried to upsell me or charge me for anything I didnt need. They run a good, honest business which is very difficult to find today. I couldnt recommend them enough!

I called to get an estimate for air conditioning to be installed. I was told I would be called to schedule the appointment. 2 and a half days later I had still not heard from them. This is my first experience with the company and I can tell you first impressions go a long way. They lost a possible customer because they lacked the customer service skills to call someone back.
Called in for cooling was not keeping up. The good tech that I had used before was gone. Sent another tech that look and didnt see anything at first then said it was low on freon and added some, so they could charge more. Result was no improvement. Then when I returned their own survey a manager came back out and said it needed more and would sent another guy out but never did. Both came out in the morning when little load was on the system. End result, no improvement and $230+ out of my bank account which is all they were after. Will not use again for service or system upgrade. Keep looking for an honest company.

Air Conditioner stopped delivering cold air on the hottest day of the year. Called Armour and they were there in three hours and had it fixed quickly .Great job, reasonable price...definitley will use them again and highly recommend them.

We just got back from work (where we had no heat in single digit weather) when I checked the thermometer that read 47 . Not knowing who to call I picked Armor , They said they were all backed up and would do their best to get here sometime this afternoon. 15 minutes later an Armor truck was in our driveway. Fortunately it was an easy fix.about 30 minutes Armor was backing out the driveway.
Technicians were professionals and answered all questions about the centralized air conditioning. Also they didnt leave a mess behind. Highly recommend!

Tom came to give an estimate on an oil to gas conversion and was able to answer any question I had while he was there and via phone call afterwards. Following the installation, he prepared all the necessary rebate forms for me and explained what needed to be done in order to redeem them. Throughout the process, all communication was excellent and allowed the job to be completed in a straightforward and uncomplicated manner.
Fantastic experience all around. Everyone we dealt with from the estimate through the install of our new furnace and AC were honest, friendly and knowledgeable. We couldnt be happier with the service that we received.
I returned from vacation to an 84 degree house. When I called these folks on a Sunday, I expected to leave a voicemail. Nope. Call was answered and Brian was prompt in getting out to my house. He figured out the issue and had the parts on his truck to make the repair. My air was up and running in no time. I will never call anyone else. I also expected to pay an arm and a leg to get someone out on the weekend as well. That didn’t happen either. Customer service is an art lost on most companies these days. This company has it nailed.
Armor Heating installed a Rinnai tankless water heater at our home and we love it.. we never have issues anymore with running out of hot water - it was a great purchase! Everyone at Armor has been great answering all the questions we have had, thank you all again

My heat shut off several times during the winter the last 5 years. I have very young children. My concern was for their safety. I called another Heating Co. Tom had a service guy to the house in a hour after coming to quote a new furnance. They fixed our old Carrier, then took the service charge as a credit when we ordered a new unit.
Showed up on schedule. Protected floors. Worked straight through day to finish all work. Cleaned up and took away all trash. Made sure furnace and hot water tank were working and explained features about tank.Very competent.

I live in Charlotte and received a call from my mom in Orchard Park during the sever, Sub-Zero weather there the end of January 2019. She told me she had no heat. I called Armor, spoke to Tommy, and within an hour or so they had her heat up and running. I cant thank them enough for taking care of my mom.Its a little easier on me being this far away and knowing she has someone there for her if a situation like this arises.

These guys are idiots. I called asking for an estimated for an wall furnace. Without asking whats the problem was he asked me what the brand was and proceeded to tell me that he couldnt help because they didnt have any parts for it. Guess what, im not calling for parts. The furance works great. However he will never know what I needed their service for. They must like turning down customers. Lets see where that would take them in the future. Dont waste your time with these people.
This is the only company I call with HVAC problems. Got my furnace up and going until new part which was under Warrenty came in. Jake did a great job and I would highly recommend them.
Called in the morning for a broken AC unit. Fixed same day. Easily could have tried to sell me a new unit considering it is 25 years old but did not. Were able to fix for a reasonable price and told me I could see another 10 years out of the unit. Would recommend

Toms crew installed a new central heat and air system at our home complete with ductwork. The system works great and the air conditioner is great with the summer heat and humidity.

2022-05-18After receiving 5 estimates on a new AC and furnace, my wife and I went with Tom and ArmorHeating, Tom’s estimate was very fair. So glad that we went with Armor, Greg and Hunter didthe instillation of the AC and furnace. Greg and Hunter did a fantastic job, they were veryrespectful and had a great attitude during the instillation. The job took a day and a half, I wasvery impressed with the quality of their workmanship and willingness to answer my questions.Greg and Hunter went over all the controls and maintenance for both units, and helped me set upthe thermostat app on my phone. I would highly recommend Armor Heating, you will be verypleased with the result

2022-02-21I would recommend Armor Heating. The company has provided annual maintenance to my boiler for years. It was an easy choice for me to select them for the purchase and installation of a new Carrier boiler this year. They provided a fair price, did the work in the timeframe agreed upon, and absolutely made sure I was satisfied with their work. The crew of Mike, Aaron, Terry, Jared, Dom was very professional. A couple of heating baseboards within my home needed some adjustments after the install date, and Terry came right back the very next day and corrected it to make sure everything was operating as it should and that I was completely satisfied. The service exceeded my expectations.

2022-09-12Twenty five years ago Armor installed my first high efficiency furnace. I was very impressed back then with with the skill of the crew. They did a great job with the install which included sheet metal work, gas lines, plumbing for the outside air and exhaust, and a new thermostat and humidifier. Twenty years ago I had them add air conditioning to the system.This year it was time for a new furnace. Once again, I received top-notch service all the way from recommendations for the proper furnace to a skillfull installation. Everyone at Armor that I have dealt with has been very professional. Quite simply, they have earned my trust. That doesnt happen with me very often.Today I received my paid invoice in the mail. With it I got the warranty registration they completed on my behalf with Carrier as well as a completed application form for a National Fuel Gas rebate. What great service!

2021-08-11I would definitely recommend armor heating. Tom was just fantastic and was very honest about what type of system we needed. When it came to the day to do the work, Aaron (sorry if spelled your name wrong) was the lets just say the foreman for the job. He was excellent and his coworkers were just fantastic. They were very professional and very polite. Aaron explained everything that was going on, then when the job was done, Aaron asked me to go to the basement and he showed me everything they had did and what I needed to know. 2022-05-02When we returned home from vacation, we realized our furnace was no longer working. To make matters worse it was a holiday! We called Armor heating and a technician was at our house within the hour.He replaced the needed part and our heat was restored.Seeing our furnace was 30 years old and the hot water tank was over 12 years old, and we didnt want anymore surprises, we decided to have a new furnace and hot water tank installed, so we called Armor heating. They replaced both parts for a great price, their technicians were on time and very courteous. Also, Armor heating filled out all the paperwork for the rebate from National Fuel. All I had to do was sign it and send it in. My husband and I highly recommend Armor Heating for all your heating/air conditioning needs.

2021-07-28I finally made the decision to get some ductless split systems for cooling our house down after a few summers with just window units. I priced Armor along with 3 other local HVAC companies and they were all pretty close in pricing, but the responsiveness and professionalism from the jump made the choice to go with Armor easy. Armors foreman, Mike, showed up promptly when he said he would Tuesday through Friday to complete the installation. The crew cleaned up after themselves and were very polite during their work. As for the equipment itself, I am extremely happy. We have an very large, wide open, main level and Tom recommended going with a 2 ton unit. I was hesitant about it being enough, but the house is ice cold. The other main thing I was worried about were the linesets looking unsightly running from the condensing units to the evaporators. However, as the pictures display, everything is hidden very well in channels that match the siding. Overall, Im extremely happy with my choice and would choose Armor again for anything HVAC related and I would recommend them highly to anyone in need of an HVAC contractor.

2022-03-13We have been loyal customers since 1973 and had been serviced many times with no complaints. Had a new hot water tank installed and we love it. A new boiler was installed a few years ago and is still pumping out the heat. Keep up the good work.

2022-08-27Armour replaced our air conditioner & furnace. The crew of 3 were very courteous & professional. Was told it would take 2 days to complete. They were done in 1 day. Took time to explain how everything works including new thermostat. They have always been my go-to when we have any peoblems. They show up when they say they will.
