My daughter had a wonderful experience at both camps she attended this summer. The activities were fun and engaging…especially the dollhouse camp. The instructors were very supportive of the campers and a delight to be around. We highly recommend Art Strong NYC!
Art Strong holds fantastic classes and camps. The teachers come up with creative, fun and engaging content, and my kid has created some of the most imaginative and most realized artwork he’s ever made here! Hannah and Ashley are terrific with all of the kids and create a safe and magical space. Highly, highly recommend!
My daughter recently participated in art camp and she had the best time! She was so excited to be outside, meeting other kids and experimenting with all types of fun art projects! Ashley and Hannah were organized and easy to communicate with, you can tell they have a real passion for art education. They made the day fun and exciting for my daughter, she cant wait for the next Art Strong art camp!!
My five-year-old son went to a week-long summer day camp with Art Strong and loved every minute. He brought home some really great projects: a print, a 3-D cardboard sculpture based on Frank Stella, a self-portrait on fabric and another embellished photograph self portrait. Hes been telling everyone how you can make batik! The projects he did are definitely elevated beyond anything hes brought home from school or that I could do easily at home. We will definitely be back!
Was at this day camp on Veterans Day. The space is really cool and inspires imagination. The camp itself was wonderful. Ashley and Hannah were so kind and welcoming for our first time to the camp. I was very impressed with the different mediums that were used for the art - my 2, 4 and 6 year old got to dabble in a lot and bring some pretty cool art. Id highly recommend this center and instructors!
My 4 (almost 5) year old son participated in a 3 day summer art camp with Art Strong and loved it! I had to pull him away from his sketch book at pick up! They created a number of different projects over the three days including papier mache, canvas collages, block printing, clay sculptures, and a giant Pollock inspired splattered sheet. My son was definitely engaged the entire time he was there and was excited to go back each day. The teachers also provided useful, regular updates with photos for each day and provided good feedback at drop off and pick up. I loved that it was in Plaxall Gallery as well. I would definitely recommend Art Strong to all parents in the neighborhood and am looking forward to enrolling my son in their upcoming camps.
My son had a great fun during the winter mini-camp! It was so well organized and teachers made sure kids could explore and learn while having fun!I will definitely register my kids in future Art Strong activities!
My daughter has been going to ArtStrong classes for over a year now and enjoys them all. The teachers provide direction and also allow for kids to be creative on their own. DD has learned about perspective, making 3D structures, color mixing, and has been inspired to do her own thing at home. The location in the Plaxall Gallery is also just perfect! We will be back again!
My daughter (she is in kindergarten), LOVES doing the art strong classes. She has had a wonderful experience and is always very proud of her artwork she creates while shes there. Highly recommend.
Cannot sing Art Strongs praises loudly enough. Such a wonderful experience for our 4 year old and 7 year old this summer! Not their first time and definitely not their last.
My daughter had a wonderful week at the ArtStrong camp in LIC. Hannah and Ashley are great treachers and really inspired The kids to be creative in their own way.
This place was amazing! The teachers are so nice and the kids can be very creative with all the options they offer, I would totally send my daughters again there

2021-09-07Hands-down one of the best kids program in Long Island city. We sent our two boys (6yrs old and 4yrs old) here for their weekly summer camp. Our boys came home after the first day begging for us to sign them up for a second week.The teachers did an amazing job encouraging and fostering our kids’ imaginations and creativity. The boys always came home excited to show me what they had made and the story behind their creations.At the end of the week, they put on an art show and invited all the parents. This was quite possibly the cutest thing ever. My kids were SO excited to have their pieces of art on display and to have my husband and I walk around to look at it all.Very highly recommend this program, even if your kid isn’t super into art. Other things to note: was really impressed with the amount of high quality material used/given to the kids! Most art classes in the area just use construction paper and regular markers etc. My kids left art strong with a finished stuffed animal, a wooden action figure, a canvas-cape etc!

2022-03-05We celebrated our daughters 4th birthday at Art Strong and recently enrolled her in their winter camp. Both experiences were a total blast! Art Strong counselors are wonderful, patient and super creative. We’re so lucky to have them in our community, I highly recommend visiting them for a session.

2021-10-14We all love ArtStrong! My son enjoyed his weeks of summer camp here, learning about new artists and techniques. At the end of each camp week the children hosted an art show to show their families what they worked on throughout the week - it was the highlight of my week. They also have classes for toddlers, which my daughter absolutely loves. The teachers are amazing - they are intentional about what they place out depending on the age group. Were so happy they are in the neighborhood!

2022-05-31Art class is my daughters favorite time of the week. She started attending when she was 2 and now at 3 still loves it just as much, if not more. Shes so proud of her creations and always has a blast!

2021-09-01My daughter and son had the best time at Art Strong’s summer camp. The teachers are so wonderful and communicative. My daughter really enjoyed making her own birdhouse. I loved seeing all of the beautiful things the kids created at the art show at the end of the week! We cannot wait to have them back to the studio.

2021-08-31My daughter loved her weeks at Art Strongs summer camp! She came home excited about her projects and about how sweet the teachers were. I loved the new space and the different themes. The location is a bit of a walk but I didnt mind it because I knew my daughter just loved it! I cant wait to have her attend future classes. Thank you Art Strong!

2022-06-02My 2 yr old son loves the outdoor classes at the park. He has also been enjoying the sensory classes they provide during the cold weather months. Art Strong is an LIC treasure.
