Artist Pianos exceeded my expectations during every aspect of my piano purchase. From appraising my trade, to picking out a new piano and scheduling delivery, Scott did an outstanding job helping me navigate such an important decision. I am loving my new piano.

My lifelong dream of getting a grand piano has been recently fulfilled at Artist Piano.I already knew the store as a good neighborhood business as they kindly welcomed me to practice with their Steinway in the past. Although amateur, I loved playing their Steinway concert grand and just couldn’t give up on having my own grand. When the store had a big re- opening sale, they loaned me a paper template to see whether my small living room can accommodate a baby grand on the sales list.General manager at their Albany store was a Knowledgeable professional who was able to articulate the excellent conditions the piano has despite its age. He also knew how to motivate a customer toward a big ticket purchase without a sales pressure. He even offered 3 week free trial and free one year storage for my upright piano.Scott at the Syracuse store provided an excellent work for voicing and regulating to bring out the full potential of the piano. He was very thorough and applied his Steinway trained skills to deliver the piano in a better condition than when I first tried it in Albany.I am glad I bought my dream instrument at the local store where I can receive support & services, rather than at an auction or on the internet.Never stop dreaming and it’s never too late for one’s dream come true.

If you are looking for a piano, I highly recommend Artist Pianos. Artist Pianos offers the variety of quality pianos (types and price points) for every level of pianist and the knowledgeable assistance for your purchase. Scott, at the Syracuse store, is an incredible wealth of information and patience. He is able to explain the many piano components and how/why the components are important - including the pluses and minuses. Scott is understanding, and willing to work with customers to meet their specific needs. Customers are not pressured to make a fast decision, or a selection that is not within the purchase criteria. I found my purchase process with Artist pianos to be very enjoyable. Would definitely select Artist Pianos again.

Recently purchased a new Kawai DG30 from Artist Pianos. Scott was a huge help. He brought a number of factors to my attention to make sure I was choosing the best option for me, without pushing in any one direction. Delivery was arranged from their Latham location to my home in Binghamton. Would highly recommend Artist Pianos

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a used piano from Artist Pianos. I had an odd situation, and was unable to physically visit the store. Scott worked with me to find the perfect piano, and sent me plenty of pictures and information on the piano I was interested in. The entire process from researching to delivery was very efficient, and the staff was helpful with every step.

After doing some research online, I wanted to try out the Kawais, which are widely considered to have the best keyboard action for a digital piano. Scott was extremely helpful and accomodating, even having a piano shipped from their other store so I could compare against a piano they had in the store. Being a naturally curious person, asked a lot of questions, and Scott was more than happy to spend the time teaching me all about pianos. I made 3 visits to the store trying to decide which piano to purchase, and each time, Scott was very patient, and willing to spend time answering questions, or even just letting me spend a half hour or so playing their full length Steinway. Scott was not only my salesperson, but he also has been repairing and restoring pianos for a long time, so he was able to show me exactly what to look for in a quality piano. When I eventually upgrade to an acoustic piano, Ill definitely return to Artist Pianos.

I had a superlative experience with Artist Pianos. They stand behind their products and provide superior service.I bought a vintage Steinway that developed problems after four years. Artist Pianos diligently worked on the piano several times in an attempt to resolve the problems. That provided an improvement, but things still werent perfect. That was no problem. I was told that they wanted me to have satisfaction. What they did was to offer a like-value trade to me and I couldnt be more pleased with my new piano.I highly recommend this store for their quality pianos which they stand behind. Yet its not just the fine pianos that make this an exceptional store. What does that is the competent staff from the very affable, knowledgeable and accommodating store manager, Scott Schroeter, the piano technicians and tuners such as Alex Smith and Kenneth Williams and owner Jo Beth Dellinger and her policy of providing customer satisfaction.I could not be more pleased about my experience in working with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new or used piano!

I had been looking for a replacement digital piano since just after Christmas 2019. I had gone to many stores and while the folks were all very nice, I was drawn to Artist Pianos. From the moment I walked in there, there was no pressure. I was able to speak with Scott freely to tell him exactly what I liked and didn’t like. He did not just direct me to a piano of his choice and say try this. He allowed me to explore the digital pianos they had there, play them, explore the features etc.I came back in about a week and as he had offered I asked to sit and play with headphones on for a bit. He was very accommodating. I tried several of the digit I already pianos That I was interested in and then told him I would be in touch.A few days later we were back in and I picked my favorite digital piano a Kawai and made it mine! Without the pressure of a sales pitch I was able to make a decision based solely on what I was looking for and comfortable with.I have my beautiful new Kawai digital piano in my living room today and enjoy the sound, the feel and the experience of it every day.Thank you to Scott at Artist Pianos for this wonderful experience.I highly recommend anyone looking for a piano of any type to stop in and see Scott.Thank you again!

Working with Artist Piano and Scott was wonderful! I have no experience playing the piano but wanted to learn and furthermore, wanted to buy an antique piano both for beauty and function. Scott was a tremendous resource and took the time to educate me on what to look for, how to have it evaluated and what to watch out for (buyer beware lessons). In the end, he helped me find & restore a beautiful 1929 antique piano that looks wonderful in my home and my lessons have begun. Thank you for helping me fulfill my bucket list!

As an adult piano student, there is a lot to learn. When you are ready to find a piano, it takes time to educate yourself on the variety of options in the market. I visited several piano stores to listen and learn. I was referred to Artist Pianos by my instructor. It was a wonderful choice. I felt very at ease from the moment I arrived. It was clear they had pianos in all price ranges and did not pressure me. The owner mentioned that they often knew after any customer visit that it comes down to 2 or 3 pianos that would work for the client. They then follow the customers lead as to what would work. They invited me to come play a few. As a beginner, that can be intimidating. However, the owner and one of his tuners, quietly sat while I played several pianos. A more kind and supportive duo, I couldnt have asked for. I am happy with my piano choice. It has been a gift to my home. I had a minor issue with the piano I chose, and the owner responded immediately, and I couldnt have been happier with the customer service. They stand behind their products and business. I received a warranty, two free tunings, and the ability to trade up within 10 yrs. I feel like Ive met new friends who will share my love of music and take care of my instrument for years to come. Dont hesitate to shop here. You will be in good hands.
