First time I went there when there with not a line of people looking to buy from them. Not that we isnt worth the wait between the service and the prices and the quality of meats this is truly an Italian store hard to find outside of Italy a associate named Jason there helped us Im picking out and try and other meats and talk to us about different foods and its not which was wonderful. Whenever Im in the area I go to that store now

Giving out 5 stars is not usual for me. For AS Pork Stores there should be 10 stars. Ive been going for 40 years starting in Massapequa then moved to Prt Jefferson and was happy to find one there, till they closed sadly. Im thankful though that theres one in E Islip and they hold up to the excellence that the others had. I tried a couple of other local Italian stores but sadly they didnt come close.So though its a ride to get there Im grateful to have that food again. Their hot sausages and the sweet with fennel are to die for! The quality of their imported parmesan cheese cant be beat. Its fantastic. Their other meats and salads too are so filled with those luscious flavors.Thank you A S Pork Stores for doing what you do and doing it better than anyone else. I missed you and will be back soon again.
When having family from Connecticut and Brooklyn come for a visit-- I ordered trays of food & hero from A S Pork Store - they were very professional, helpful and their food was outstanding. When the trays are empty and all the food is mostly gone, that says it all! Thank you A S Pork Store.

A&S Pork Store in East Islip is absolutely fantastic! Everything I have purchased here has been top notch... just the smell of this place when you walk in the door makes you hungry... their hero sandwiches are packed with meat and their sausages reminded me of Sunday dinners at my grandparents house... I dont know where they get their Italian bread from ( my guess is from Brooklyn) but it is awesome too....
Got cold cuts they just piled them and they were too thin to separate not going there anymore.
I am a pretty tough reviewer and a Level 7 Google Master Guide. I rarely give out 5 stars as I believe that this number should be reserved for very special places. Please check my review history to see how tough I can be. Anyone, these folks have amazing food. Their fresh Mozzarella is the best that I have ever tasted and I have tasted it at 100s of places! Their home made roast beef and turkey are also the best that I have EVER tasted. In addition, all of their Italian specialties are wonderful! They also have aged beef that is excellent. Finally, the employees are 5 star friendly adding greatly to the enjoyment of your visit. You cant go wrong here, I promise!
I purchased a chicken cutlet hero. I was unhappy. The cutlets were to thick for a sandwich.

I moved to this area 4 years ago and have shopped in this store since. I grew up on A&S sausage and the sausage here is good but smaller links to the store in Massapequa. I preferred the Massapequa store to this one but didnt want to take the 1/2 ride. The last couple of times I have been there I was really disappointed in the slicing of my cold cuts. Had the same young man both times and yesterday I dreaded ordering prosciutto but gave him another chance. I got thick uneven slices. Going to make the trek back to the Massapequa store from now on, more authentic in my opinion. A customer since the 1960s in Brooklyn.

2022-04-12Not happy. My husband picked up two hero’s and all I can say is, where is the meat? We have had hero’s here for years. We go out of our way to pick up sandwiches at this pork store but this time the hero’s were horrible. Very little cold cuts. Even the lettuce was Scarce. The four tomato’s were paper thin. So disappointed. We spent $40 for two hero’s and cookies. What a waste. Next time I’ll go to a local deliNot worth the trip or the price!!!

2022-02-13Asked my very not Italian wife (who SWORE she didn’t need a list) to stop in for a few things this morning and she said they were extremely nice despite her being confused and not remembering exactly what she needed lol. The lard bread is the best I have ever had in my life. And the gelato is next level. Can’t wait to stop in myself and see everything they have to offer but I’m very impressed so far!

2021-04-09Once again, bought the pizza Rustica for Easter. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS !!!Gave some to family, and they enjoyed it too very much. I also enjoyed the grain pie. DELICIOUS !! Thanks for making these two products the way they should be made!

2018-07-09Great service and food. Went in here on Sunday was very quiet and quick. Received help right away. Everyone was very polite like usual. I got two porterhouse steaks which were absolutely wonderful. And also got some fresh Italian sausage. Overall would recommend and return!
