We had a great experience shopping at Ashley’s. They had a large variety to choose from. Our salesman Tony did a incredible job in helping us pick out our furniture on his first day, and his first sale, working for Ashley furniture .It was a great experience from when we walked in to when we walked out. At about 10:55 3/26/22, I walked into your store 11514. I was not greeted by a sales rep. I had to walk over to the sales rep. I chastised her for not walking up to the customer. I told her what I was looking for. She walked over to the Managers office. He told her I should walk around and someone will find me. I said no, I am an old lady and not wakingaroud. She said she would get me a sales rep,she has a customer. I told her I did not see a customer around. She walked into the customer service room and was talking to a lady. The original sales rep had her hand partially covering her mouth so I could not see nor hear what she was saying. I started for the door. Another gentleman came over, I started telling him what transpired. He said I am here now I will help you. I left. I was too annoyed, My $$ is good at many other cheap furniture stores.
My husband and I had a wonderful shopping experience today. We simply mentioned what we were looking for, and the friendly sales rep, Valentina Desir, knew immediately what was in the store, and what wasnt. She pulled up on her tablet options based on our description, and she found exactly the cabinet we needed. She also gave us space to browse the showroom and outlet sections, informing us of helpful discounts and promotionals. Her level of customer service has ensured our return business.
It was a wonderful experience, I’m glad I walked out of bobs furniture👎🏾To come to Ashley at Carle place in glen cove Mall!!! The staff were very warm and welcoming. They answered all of our questions. They went above and beyond to help us, plus I’m very happy with my purchase, the furnitures are very classy! The staff that helped us were Angelica and Khadijah. They deserve 5 stars and should be recognize by the company ! ❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️Thank you Ashley!
Manager was great at this location at trying to get my issue resolved! But overall ashley needs to do a better job at explaining warranty on specific products as it varies by vendors. Also to spend a lot of money on one of kind pieces and some vendors only giving 2 years warranty is ridiculous
Definitely needed a new mattress. Our sales guy was Derek... Now I can sleep well and not feel sooo achy in the morning anymore.HAVE AN UPDATE-- only had the mattress for 3 weeks- started sinking already. A tech came and said nothing wrong. Are you kidding me. Will not give us a new one. Now we have to buy a new one somewhere else. Wont use them again.
Shopping for furniture wasn’t the annoying part we had a very helpful salesman. We purchased a couch, loveseat and chair, we got the delivery date, everything went smoothly. Not once were we told that the couch was out of stock and would be back ordered ! We did not find this out until the day of delivery when the movers brought in two piece and had no idea about a couch, my husband would not let them leave until they called the store and that’s when we were told the couch was out of stock and back ordered. I can’t tell you how mad my husband and I are about this we feel that this piece of information was held back from us, honestly if we were told that the couch was back ordered we would have kept looking or went somewhere else, we told them that we did not want to wait and here we are waiting and they don’t know when the delivery date will be!!!!
Austin asked me to revise my review. The facts will stay. I will never shop at Ashleys again (and I am a returning, loyal customer).-This store told me my furniture was on backorder AFTER I paid and had my delivery date scheduled. Then delivered my order in two separate deliveries over the course of 3 weeks.-Paid for a 5-year protection plan (DO NOT pay for this). I waited over 2 months to get my accent chair exchanged (See picture below for why I needed an exchange).-Delivered the wrong headboard. We decided to keep it because of the aggravation the whole exchange process would cause.-Spent 4-5 hours total on the phone with customer service reps over the course of my order debacle.Once you order the furniture and walk out of the store, you are completely helpless and if I did not write my initial poor review, I am most certain that the issues with my order would not have been resolved.
I wish I can give this place 0 stars. This is our first time shopping at Ashley’s and will never return. There is no customer satisfaction with Ashley’s. I went into the store and the manager told me there’s nothing she can do… it’s up to customer service. I waited to find a bedroom set for our master room before settling. I found a set that I really like at Ashley’s. My husband and I went into the store to check out the set. We met Oshe and Anna. Oshe was a great help, he showed us the set that I was interested in plus other sets to compare. Then Anna came along and showed us mattresses. We decided to get a tempur pedic mattress with the adjustable base. My husband and I picked the PRO ADAPT FIRM mattress originally. After deciding we wanted the adjustable base, we chose the ADAPT MEDIUM mattress. Anna agreed and suggested we purchase a cooling mattress cover because the ADAPT MEDIUM does not provide the same cooling as the PRO ADAPT FIRM.Anna who submitted the order, ordered the PRO ADAPT FIRM mattress instead of the mattress we wanted.Ok delivery day comes, we received 2 night stands, a dresser and mirror, and a bed with front drawers. ALL items were damaged somehow. When I told the driver he said a technician needs to come and check it and he’s not taking it back. (one nightstand drawers was stuck, he said it’s supposed to be stuck) But because I was too busy checking all of the furniture I ordered I forgot to check the mattress.I went to the store the next day to get the correct mattress Anna told me there’s nothing she can do. She charged me for a mattress that I didn’t want and there’s nothing she can do I have to wait 90 days to contact tempurpedic to exchange the mattress. The mattress she ordered was $1000 more than the mattress we wanted.. and now I’m stuck with this because they have a no refund policy which was not mentioned during our visit.I am very disappointed in Ashley’s. I am unhappy with this furniture set. There is no customer service or customer satisfaction. I will never be returning here.Oh, and the delivery team is horrible. They picked up the large garbage items but left a mess in my house.
So disappointed. Purchased the sofa I wanted only to be told that it was a extra $160 to disassemble to get up my stairs after the sale had been completed. The salesperson was aware that I had a budget and was already pushing my budget to afford the sofa, having to forgo the 5 year protection plan ( which was less then the dissassembly charge) to complete the purchase of the couch.
The worst experience with this company all the furniture had a factory defect had to wait an extra two months from the date the salesman told me what made everything worse was the people that delivered they scratch my floorsplease make sure you inspect everything you get from top to bottom because they will tell you it’s too late to help I will never use this company again
I paid extra for warranty serviceI put in a claim in NovemberIn February I contacted warranty service as to why I had no service that I paid for. After a number of excuses the representative admitted that they did not have sufficient techs to back up warranty service. A week later I received a credit memo for the value of the furniture. No one came to my home.I went to the store and met with Kristen Michael, the manager who informed me that she would process my the credit memo.I asked her to keep me in the loop. Having not heard back from her, I called the store three times leaving a voice mail for Kristen asking the person on the phone that I wanted to speak with her. She did not want to speak with me and I learned that my legitimate credit was not processed by Ashley furnitureYou would think that Kristen would have made some sort of effort.
Candice was phenomenal! Her and my 19 month old fell in love. Was in and out got a good deal. When I found out I could have save a little more money by purchasing online Derek the manager helped me out took care of the price match with no issue, and was seemingly happy to do so. However. The 3-10 days to receive the refund on the 10th day when it didnt hit I placed a call. The store called me back and I was informed that Id have to wait and additional 5-7 days now because they were going to resubmit it. To me its about the good and the bad. But no business ever has any issue collecting the payment right away its just always an issue returning it for some reason should things change. Have not received delivery as of yet. As that wasnt scheduled until on or before the 27th. Hopefully we dont hit any snags there.
*Review #2As a follow up of Review #1, I would like to take the time out to give credit when credits due. If youre going to give the bad you should also give the good. After I left my comments about my poor experience I was reached out to by support team member Austin. He had me follow a couple of steps to further assist me with my purchase and soon after I was contacted by the store location. I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Marlon which was one of the managers. He was very patient and kind. I would like to thank him abundantly. He gave me assistance when I went back to the store as a follow up. Although I didnt get the mattress I initially purchased I did get a matress of the same collection equally as comfortable as the one I first purchased. Marlon allowed me to search for something that I found comfortable and and he gave me the details of when they were expecting the shipment which was the 26th of January. I received a phone call on the 26th stating that the matress was received at the store location and they set me up with a date of delivery which was this morning January 28th. I would like to give a big thanks to the store manager Marlon and support team member Austin for further assisting me with getting a comfortable mattress.*Review #1If I could give no stars I would. I purchased a mattress from this location back in December of 2021 and they didnt have the mattress in stock therfore it would be delivered. I was helped by Jessina Rivera and her manager.You would think that they would tell you that the mattress I purchased was on back order and would take a very long time to receive, however they didnt. I bought the mattress the first week of December and I was told that it would be delivered by December 16th. I received a call on the 11th saying it wouldnt be delivered until the 21st of December, and then another call on the 18th of December stating that theyll have the mattress in the warehouse by the 30th of December. The 30th comes and I received no notification or phone call saying that they received the mattress. At this point Im frustrated and I give them a call. The young lady I spoke to starts to give me attitude over the phone because I want to know where my mattress is. She tells me it would be in the warehouse the week leading up to the 9th of January. I call the 8th of January being that the 9th was a Sunday. They then tell me tell me it would be in by or before the 22nd of January. Now Im upset. I ask to speak to the highest manager and it feels like they passed the phone around the office until the person who seemed the most professional took the call. No help whatsoever. I called today as of January 13th 2022 and theyre now telling me the 10th of February. This company service is bottom of the barrel and thats me being polite. I hope that corporate sees this and make some changes because this is very low quality business.
Jordan helped me in store with getting exactly the mattress I was looking for and at the price point I budgeted for. Great delivery service too, Im in a building with no elevator which is always a hassle, but these guys were very kind and made it an overall great experience, thank you!
VERY POOR SERVICE AND PRODUCTdear customer, please dont buy anything from Ashly furniture.. please try Raymore or Bobs furniture.I purchased a dining table set, but 3 TIMES Ashly sent me a broken damaged product and they also ask me to wait 1 more month for the 4th delivery of same product. I contacted several times Ashly Customer care and their manager but no use then finally I purchase the dining table is it from Raymore..
I went to Ashley Furniture in Carle Place. I was promptly greeted by Miles Banks. He has great taste and style. Not only did he help me pick out great furniture, but he showed me how match accessories with my loveseat. Additionally He took me around the whole store we tried every couch. Ultimately I chose the Altari Slate Gray Loveseat. I highly recommend Ashley furniture for great prices and great customer service, but I encourage you to ask for Miles Banks for the best advice and customer service.
Ridiculous experience with this store . I purchased a Twin bed from the including box spring and mattress . I was promised delivery with everything that normally comes with the bed . However on the day of the delivery they came only with the bed frame and no headboard saying that the headboard is not included .how can a headboard not be included with a bed when it’s legitimately part of a bed . Anyways I called the store and customer service was extremely nasty and rude and delivery men were even more trash . I refused to take the bed and on top of that the delivery guys destroyed my daughters crib that was in the room where the bed was suppose to be placed . Bad business ethics . They don’t own up to there words and delivery guys are horrible they will damage what you already have in the house .However my sales Rep that helped me in the store her name is Imani she was great she did her job . But the management itself let us down and not only did not own up to there words they wanted to argue and be nasty when they were called to sort the matter out
Over the past year we’ve been here probably 3 or 4 times. The sales people are always friendly and patient. Ray was awesome. He answered all of our questions. And he didn’t hover over us and make us feel uncomfortable.It’s easy to negotiate the ticketed price. Plus they always have sales and special promotions going on. Our things arrived on time. I never had to send anything back because of a mistake.I came in here a couple of months ago because one of my little monsters broke one of my dining room chairs. I was expecting them to give me a hard time. I came prepared to fight. But they were nice about it. They gave me the number to call and explained to me how to go about getting the chair fixed. 2 weeks later it was taken care of.
Our salesperson Devon was amazing. He knew his inventory and delivery dates. He was very gentle and not pushy at all. He was so knowledgeable and articulate. Definitely will be back to him soon for another purchase. And he got us delicious coffee too! His patience was amazing.
The Couch another issue...... They delivered the couch cond me out of $40 to box a few boxes so they could have more room to bring in the couch. Then they put two gashes in cieling broke my hallway light and took pictures, sent then in and pretended the cieling was like that when they arrived meanwhile the swept the light bulb they broke into the corner of my hallway.By far this is the worst delivery team and my second incident with Ashleys Furniture delivery team.
My experience in the actual store with the salesperson was very good. So good I was thinking about going back to buy to re do my entire living room. But then I got the delivery team from H--- and I want NOTHING to do with this company every again. I have two small children and my mother has lung issues. The delivery guys show up with no masks. I offered them masks, they made comments under their breath and tried not to wear them. I paid EXTRA for them not only to deliver into the bedroom but also to put the furniture together, and as it was a solid wood dresser they didnt really have much to do. Yet, when my wife told them they were putting it in the wrong place and she wanted it moved the guy said to my wife I dont have all day lady. You have ALL DAY since we paid you to put it in the correct space! Finally, they had taken the dresser out of the box on my front lawn. I figured, well, they will clean up when they are done. NO! They left the trash on my front lawn so I spent the rest of my morning picking up not only the box pieces but tons of broken Styrofoam packing. If this is the delivery service you are going to charge me almost $200 for, I wont go back. I wonder how much business you have lost due to these two guys?
Chris & Bobby are both phenomenal men when it comes to expert knowledge in their business profession. Every concern & question did not go unanswered and was addressed. They were patient, kind and accommodating. They were a DYNAMIC TEAM!!! Worst customer service ever! Stay away!!! Their furniture is expensive but very poor quality. The insurance package is a scam. I bought my first and last couch from them 3 years ago. The seams are splitting, leather is cracking. I put in a claim and it was denied. I disputed the denial and have never received a response from the store or the insurance company. Go to Bob’s, they have better prices, quality and insurance!
Wonderful service in store. Candice was super friendly and helpful without any pressure or sales gimmicks.The delivery of my item took less than ten minutes. It was only a loveseat, but the crew had it off the truck and setup in my apartment in a flash. Highly recommend.
The store was presented really well. The displays were well organized into sectionals, love seats, recliners, lazyboys and even wall ornaments and more. The sales agent was very courteous and professional. He took the time to explain our financial options for purchase. I believe that we received a good deal even though the bank refused to accommodate us. The store can be seen from vehicle moving in normal traffic. The restrooms facility was kept clean. The agents here were ready and available to attend to our needs
Was helped in the store by Candace, who was incredibly helpful in picking out some of the furniture we needed. She did everything she could to answer our questions and show us what we asked for. A real pleasure to deal with her. Later on she brought in Derek when we needed something sooner than the delivery date and he was so personable and helpful as well.We haven’t gotten our furniture yet, so I can’t comment on that, but so far a very good experience.
Called in regarding an ongoing issue. Called the general line and spoke to a very rude and condescending representative name Jim, who was no help at all. He then transferred us to a store manager - Kristen who was very understanding of the situation and helpful. Would probably use the store again, but the main line reps are rude and useless.
I had the best experience with Candice. She met all my needs and gave me the best options. She was patient, friendly and helpful. I absolutely love my purchase and I cant wait to return to have her help me furnish my apartment! It was the best experience I’ve had at a furniture place thus far!
We visited the showroom at Carle Place, NY yesterday and we must say that we got the best customer service representative Bobby who worked patiently with us all evening, he showed me all possible options, very professional and knowledgeable, and highly recommended. We have never had this kind of customer service experience at Ashleys before. We were very hesitant when we walked into the store due to our past horrible experiences but Bobby changed our whole experience. We had a large purchase and we walked out very happy. We were not pushed or hounded to come up with a hasty decision. The Manger Robert was also very professional and accommodating. Ashley should have more sales reps like Bobby, definitely a 5 star employee!!!
Furniture experience was very good. Found exactly what we wanted without knowing exactly. Salesmen Phil was very nice and helpful. Answered all our questions and was not pushy at all and we didn’t even get the feeling of him hovering at all, which was nice. But once we were ready to ask a question/make our decision he was close enough and very attentive.
So after 3 months I am still waiting for Ashley to fix my broken server. To date they have sent me the same wrong door three times, the wrong drawer 2 times. (See my photos) Iam currently waiting on door number four. Ive also been told that Ashley would rather send me 20 doors instead of just replacing my server. Its more cost effective this way. Which basically means Ashley does not care about customer satisfaction.Update: Surprise Surprise, I get a call from David the back office manager at the Carle Place location after my revire was posted, asking me if everything has been resolved. No it hasnt. I told David I was still missing parts that were promised to me over 3 weeks ago. I even gave him my claim number. Even with a claim number Ashley Furniture cant find my parts. I was promised call backs personally by David and yet no status on my parts. So I currently have a server collecting dust in my home because of the incompetence of Ashley Furniture. I guess the bright side is they cant bill me until my order is complete. Hopefully by xmas I should have everything. Stay AWAY from this location or hope everything goes right or else good luck!!Purchased a 7 piece dinning set 8/7. Only received 5 pieces when delivered and table was damaged along with server. Took me over a week and a half to find out where my 2 missing chairs were. Spoke to my salesman Michael, spoke to David and spoke to office representative and no one was able to give me a straight answer on where my chairs were. I was told to contact customer support who then told me to contact the store. Went back and forth for about a week and half. It wasnt until I sent in a friend pretending to want to buy my exact set and was told he can have it delivered to him the following day did I finally got a straight answer. Why was he able to get the set to him the next day, yet my two chairs could not be found? Also, still waiting for broken pieces to my server to be sent to me. I was told when I initially called about the damages 8/24 it would be 7 - 10 days. Now Im told sometime during the week of 9/23. Horrible service. It seems once they get the sale they dont care anymore. Wouldnt shop here again.
Will not shop here again. Made a purchase with Oshe Powell who told me my bedframe would come Dec. 15th. Now Im being told thats not true and that itll MAYBE arrive mid Jan. Seems like a lack of honesty here amongst sales. In addition, note that if your furniture arrived, it can not be returned. They sent 1 of 3 pieces of my bed set, and now wont take back the 1 piece to return the entire purchase, even though 2 of 3 pieces they are now unable to provide a shipping date. Worst experience with a furniture store.
Today my daughter and I visited Carle Place store.We arrived as the store was about to close and came across a few furniture pieces that we really liked.We asked for assistance and store manager, Robert Astudillo was more then happy to help.Robert went above and beyond to answer our questions and stayed with us almost 2 hours after the store closed to help us complete our purchase.I dont usually write reviews but I felt its important to recognize Robert. He was patient, knowledgeable and very personable. He never looked at his watch or rushed us eventhough today was his Birthday.Robert, thank you for being kind, honest and caring.You are awesome and I hope that you are recognized by your leadership team for providing the best customer service experience.Ashley Homestore is lucky to have you on board.
Curtis was so pleasant to deal with he was straightforward and truthful so we waited for him to order the sofa . Everyone was polite and very helpful including Bobby . The Chai latte was delicious.We went to the other furniture stores but the customer service was not as good as here so we decided to buy here.
The shopping experience and delivery were very smooth. My sofa was on backorder for a few months but the salesman was honest with the timeframe from day one and the representatives I spoke to periodically for updates were also direct and honest about the situation. The time it took from order to receipt of the merchandise wasn’t desirable but how the team handled it made the situation much better.
Oshe was amazing. He was very personable and knew the products well. He really worked on making us feel comfortable with purchasing our bedroom set. Him and Robert were amazing. He customized our space to exactly what we wanted. He was great to work with. An awesome employee for you guys.
I am very pleased with the quality of the service as well as the dresser that we ordered. Our salesman Dimitri was very accommodating and made the process go very smoothly. The delivery was prompt. They had the dresser set up in 15 minutes. The appearance and quality of the product was excellent. Overall great service and quality of the furniture at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend.
We truly enjoyed our experience at Ashley. Our trusted adviser Tara Bailous gave us a warm welcome and introduced us to their whole collection of bed frames. She was very patient and enthusiastic and helped us find our dream bed frame. It is truly our best shopping experience and we will definitely recommend everyone to shop here!

Sparkle, Alex, Dimitri, and Derek knew the ups and downs of the store and very knowledgeable about the products. They tried to work with me and my needs. 10/10 recommend for customer experience and product knowledge. Definitely check this store out. Jay the acceptance now representative was very engaging in our understanding of the program. I appreciate the time they spent behind me to find the best items I needed. I definitely will be a lifetime customer here.
My husband and I went to buy a couch that I had seen online. Our customer rep Derek was wonderful. He was very kind and knowledgeable. I drove that poor man crazy (lol) and he didn’t even bat an eye. Needless to say we got our couch. If you ever happen to go there ask for Derek. You won’t be sorry. Thanks again Derek.
Cara was a huge help to us when looking for a mattress and bed set. She was so patient and genuine she really made us feel comfortable with whatever decision we went with while also letting us know all our possible options. I would highly recommend Ashley’s furniture and ask for Cara!
My first time visiting Ashley and had such a wonderful experience. We got an entire couch set. The quality, service and pricing were great. Harry was amazing. He took the time out to answer our questions, as well as make recommendations to suit our needs. He wasnt pushy or salesy either. I will definitely return back. This will be my furniture spot going forward.
Kyra has been very helpful with our purchase in making our dreams become reality. She was very knowledgeable about mattresses and adjustable base which made our purchase even easier. Thank you Tony for all of your help and hard work!This was my first time in Ashley Home Store. I went shopping with my boyfriend for a couch. After a long day of shopping, we decided to make Ashley our last stop. We looked around and quickly met Dimitri. He was extremely patient with us. We looked at a few different couches and found one that we loved. Dimitri helped us with spacing and sizing of the couch. We then went on to order a mattress and 2 bar stools. Dimitri insisted that we try more than one mattress to make sure we felt comfortable. Dimitri spent a lot of time with us explaining the different pieces of furniture. My husband and I were very pleased with our experience at Ashley. We worked with Paul who was very personable but not pushy at the same time. He was very patient and helped us pick out furniture that fit our style in the space we have available in our home. When making our final purchase, Thomas also assisted us in getting the best price for our purchase. Would definitely recommend shopping at Ashley, especially for first time home buyers.
I am posting my experiences with Ashley Furniture store in Carle Place, New York because I feel that it is the right thing to do!!! I specifically want to mention two people who helped me through a difficult process. Andrew Levy and Miles Bank. Let’s start with Miles. I met Miles a year or two ago when I was looking for a bedroom set!! He was so professional and helpful!!!! Even though I didn’t make a purchase on that day, he still treated me as if I was important and helped me save some selections in the system. My purchases were not going to take place because I was still in the process of doing construction in my home. When I was ready to go back, Miles had left for personal reasons and then I met Andrew! I was so impressed with Andrew’s ability to be so polite, professional, and have excellent follow up skills!!! He has helped me select so many items I purchased!! He has even helped me on his days off through text with no questions asked!! These are the types of people I want to deal with when purchasing furniture! The ones that make you feel like family!!
We recently purchased our first home& after a long day of looking around for furniture we decided to stop at Ashleys. We walked in and were greeted right away. We met Dimitri. He instantly lifted the weight off our shoulders. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He made us feel like family and he truly cared about making our experience as pleasant as possible! We furnished every room and he made sure we were happy with every detail. I strongly recommend coming to Ashley furniture. We will definitely be back for all our future furniture needs! 5 stars to you Dimitri!
We went to Ashley furniture seeking to buy a couch that we saw online. We brought the online ad with us and our salesman Devon patiently showed us the couch we were interested in, help us choose between that couch and alternatives. The online price was exceptional and Devon without contention match the price and close the deal. The shopping experience was a lot better than the experience we previously had at Macys.
Bobby was beyond helpful! I was really apprehensive about a couch I loved, I wasn’t sure if it would fit into my apartment. Bobby had a lot of knowledge about measurements & delivery, he recommended I use a “breakdown” service to be sure my couch fit. I’m so relieved, and can’t thank him enough.
Devon P. was so knowledgeable and we were thankful to have worked with him. He acted more like a personal consultant not a salesperson. He really tried to understand our needs and helped us think about important things like usefulness and space. He understood we had three kids and showed us items that would be practical. We have been unsure of bedroom furniture for over a year and within an hour we felt like we made the right decision. I highly recommend working with him.
Ashley Carle Place is THE WORSTE PLACE I HAVE EVER SHOPPED, If there was a star less than 0 thats the type of service I received. Based on information they gave me regarding delivery wasnt accurate all the pieces wasnt available but yet they schedule delivery without mattresses and parts of beds which is ridiculous. I came aware of this when the delivery was attempted. After which the sales rep informed my wife that they will try and reschedule the delivery with all the pieces, then she went on say that they have a mattress which is equal in price and of the same quality. Sad to say after Sales Rep said there was a schedule delivery on March 25,2021 But we did not receive a delivery on that particular day. Then finally The delivery arrive on March 31, but then I notice the mattress that the sales Rep said that was equal in price and of same quality which was not so. The mattress was LESS in Price and of different Quality. I am truly disappointed because I thought Ashley Store was a reputable company but obviously its not. If I was told that there was a difference in price and will be refunded the difference that I would not have a problem. BUT this is DISHONESTY. The MANAGER and sales rep REPRESENT WHICH IS ASHLEY FURNITURE Up until this moment April 9,2021 the whole mattress situation is not resolved and Absolutely no One try to resolved the problem. The only thing left to do is to take them to Court.
This was my first time in Ashley Home Store. I was greeted by Tasha, who was very pleasant and asked what could she help me with today. I explained that I saw an end table online that I really liked but it was out of stock. She asked for the name and said she would be right back, that she needed to confer with another associate because she was new and did not want to misinform me. I appreciated her honesty, and understand everyone has to start somewhere. Not only did I purchase the end table, but an accent chair as well. Tasha was very thorough, and her superiors made sure everything went smoothly. I left with my order and tentative dates for delivery😊 I would definitely return and see Tasha for additional pieces to brighten my home.
Customer service is just different at Ashley’s. They go above and beyond to assist you. The Trusted Advisor, Tara Bailous, who assisted me and my wife put in the time needed to make sure we were more than satisfied with our purchase and completely aware of the next steps and expectations. Will definitely return for our next purchase and ask for Tara to assist us. She definitely made shopping for furniture an enjoyable experience.
I had agreat experience at the Ashley furniture store in Carle place! The minute I walked in, my sister and I were approached by Oshe who asked our names. He was very friendly immediately including to my two young kids who were a bit hyper after hitting our third or fourth furniture store! He took note of the things I didn’t like and the things I did like and after 7 yes of shopping around and not being able to commit, I finally bought a beautiful dining room set!! Then Andrew came and helped come up with a great payment plan! I couldn’t have had a better experience all thanks to both Oshe and Andrew!! They both were so friendly and so kind to me and my family and answered all my questions. They both eased my anxiety about my big purchase and I can’t wait to get it in!!
This location deserves 0 stars. My husband and I were blatantly lied to by one of their managers, Robert Astudillo about when we would receive our order. We were promised Aug. 4 the latest “even if the factory had to build it themselves.” He happily took our payment and never answered any of our calls again. I would suggest Raymour & Flanagan (close by,) or Macy’s Furniture Store which is right across the street and has comparable prices. Their sales people were honest.I am 9 months pregnant with no furniture, no tentative date as to when anything will arrive, and no way to prepare our rooms thanks to Ashley Homestore.For all of the people leaving 5 stars, I suggest waiting a week or 2 before leaving a review. The associates coerce you into giving high ratings before you leave the store. The Better Business Bureau will be contacted if this situation is not alleviated within a timely manner.
Rich was extremely helpful in assisting us pick each item to furnish our new home! The prices were great and each item will fit our new home perfectly. His humorous nature helped make the process simple and he was very efficient in finding us pieces that we liked. We will definitely be returning to Ashley furniture in the near future!

My husband and I went to the Ashley Furniture Home Store yesterday. I had planned to just complete one transaction. I wanted to cancel an order of a dining room table. As we waited we walked around and saw a sofa we had wanted but was too expensive. But, last night it was on sale now! We asked for a salesperson and Alyssa offered to assist. She had such a positive outlook, a real breath of fresh air. She was warm and friendly yet remained totally professional at all times. She was quite knowledgeable about the sofa and answered all of our questions. She went above and beyond helping us negotiate the terms of payments with her manager. We are very pleased that she did because we would not have been able to make the purchase. It is employees like Alyssa that will make repeat customers of us. She took the anxiety out of our purchasing experience. She assured us she would do everything she could to make it possible for us to get our choice of sofa. She did so in a way that inspired confidence and ease. Thank you!!
Today i had the best experience shopping for furniture for my new house. When I first arrived at Ashley Homestead located at 164 Glen Clove Rd Carle Place NY a woman named Linette noticed me searching for a sales rep she quickly responded. Once she did her she professionalism took over and she showed me numerous bedrooms sets. She was thorough and explained everything fully. I quickly purchased my bedroom set at a great price. And a gentleman named Hasan assisted in making this experience that more enjoyable. I will definitely come back to purchase more furniture from this location.
Andrew was a delight to work with. We wanted to shop an outlet piece that would fit in our freight elevator and deliver in 2-3 weeks. Aiming to get our delivery on time next week. Andrew was very well versed in Ashley policies and did not push anything on me, even provided his phone number when I left in case we wanted to call and reserve something instead of coming back to the store after comparing with other locations. I would definitely work with Ashley and Andrew again.
Had a very pleasant experience at this store with Chris Mondello. He was very helpful, informative and accommodating. Very grateful for his help. He went over and beyond in helping us pack up the item we bought and fit it in our car. Ashley should be proud to have an employee like him. Absolutely using them in the future because of this wonderful experience and because of him.
Chris Mondello was super helpful when I had questions about various couches- he took me all over the showroom to allow me to see each piece and was very courteous, professional and patient with me. When we returned later to finally make the purchase- Chris was with another client however Rich his manager stepped in to support us with our questions, get our children hot coco and joke and laugh with us. Overall the team definitely has a nice working environment and are eager to make their clients happy.
Harry and Dimitri spent most the day with us helping us get exactly what we wanted and needed. We furnished our living room and bedroom today with the most beautiful, functional pieces. We love that this furniture is made in the USA! We are more than satisfied with the treatment we received and the prices we paid! We will be back when it’s time to furnish our other rooms!! Definitely highly recommend them, they were extremely personable, friendly and professional. We felt like we were really taken care of.

Today was our second visit to Ashley Furniture in Carle Place,NY. Our sales associate was named Dimitri both times. He helped us furnish our living room spaces both times. Great guy and great prices on the pieces. Friendly and very helpful in bringing our vision to reality. Definitely recommend going there. P.s. no wait time on deliveries, our first order was delivered in the same week and this second order is expected to be delivered this week too.
Went to check out an accent (reading) chair for my bedroom during Black Friday weekend. The store was slightly crowded but everyone was wearing masks and staying away from each other. The staff was friendly and Michael was the salesperson who helped me. He answered all my questions and was very caring towards my concerns. He also didn’t try to rush me into making my purchase. Make sure that you check for the lowest price because my chair was significantly cheaper on their website versus in store but they were able to price match (it would have been out of my budget otherwise). Delivery actually came an hour earlier than I expected but the guys were quick and professional and patient while I checked out the chair before signing for it. I’m very happy with the quality of my chair and overall I’m happy with my experience!
Went into Ashley Home furniture store looking for a couch. Went into the Outlet part of the store . Tryed a couple of them by sitting down and getting the feel of it. I had help from one of the salesmen’s “OsHe” didn’t feel pressured at all. Loved one and the price was in my budget range. Purchase the couch the same day. A week later delivered right in my living room . Thank you Ashly Furniture! The best.
I had a wonderful experience at Ashley picking out furniture for my new apartment! I set up a private appointment with Andrew Levy for 9 AM. Even though I was running a little late, he was understanding and helpful. When we arrived, the store was not even open yet! It was great to look around the showroom without a crowd, especially during COVID. Andrew was patient and helped us pick out great furniture with matches for all rooms in my new place. I love everything I picked! Andrew also thoroughly checked everything and made sure we got the best deal. He had great suggestions for the furniture that would work in my layout. I am so happy. Overall, this was a great shopping experience with excellent customer service. I am especially happy the store was so clean, everyone was wearing masks, and socially distance was kept. Haven’t needed to post a review in a while but this deserves one. Just trying to help other people before they try and use this company. Terrible terrible customer service after you hand over your money. When I bought almost 10k worth of items everything was great but after one item broke, they didn’t care. No response and told me a repair was being set up and then no more communication and supposedly no record of the call where it was planned.I was pushed into buying the damage insurance and when a spill happened they didn’t do anything to fix it. Still waiting for a response. They don’t even answer the phone it’s all online and no customer service again.The people in the store were good at the time of sale but when it comes to you needing them to help you they are not around then.Update 5/21. Nothing is resolved yet. Very unsatisfied with this company.
Andrew, Charles and Kendrick at the Carle Place location helped me pick out my entire furniture package for my newly purchased home. They were super patient throughout the process and helped me with issues even after the sale. I will definitely be doing return business with them, I didn’t get the feeling that they were a bunch a salesmen selling a ketchup popsicles to someone in a white fur coat. I felt they actually cared about me and my family.
It was awesome! I was greeted at the door by a guy named Chris Tolentino. He was so easy to talk to. He took the time to listen to my concerns and helped solve my problem. He helped me find the perfect living room set! Chris answered all my questions and was very knowledgeable. I am so glad I met Chris today!
I needed a ton of furniture after moving into my new home. Andrew helped us and was extremely helpful. He was patient, honest and worked to get us the best deal and selection for our new home. The customer service here is significantly better than other similar furniture stores. We love our sofa and dining set. The furniture is great quality for the price.
We had a comfortable experience shopping in store with Khadijah and was able to reach her via phone to make any changes. Originally we purchased our furniture in April and had to change our delivery we had 2 separate deliveries and the delivery guys were fast and friendly! The original couch did not fit and we had to replace it, Andrew made purchasing over the phone super easy and was very patient. Will def recommend the CARLE place store!
I really hate furniture shopping because I find the sales people to be a little overly aggressive. Not at Ashley. Andrew greeted us when we arrived and offered his assistance. We prefer to browse alone so he gave us his name and let us shop in peace. I appreciate that much more than being followed all over and pressured like in other nearby stores. I found a sofa I fell in love with and Andrew was very helpful, kind and professional throughout the entire transaction. He made the entire experience a pleasant one and for that I am grateful!
Super great experience with my salesman Harry. He was very personable and knowledgeable. Showed interest in my overall health and my related well to my back pain having back back issues himself. Love my new storm pillows! They have a natural cooling system along with my new hybrid temperpedic!!
0/10 Experience. The item came in damaged AND 3 months late with NO calls back from store managers. After myself and the delivery drivers called customer service more than once, I was told the broken piece couldnt be left there until the replacement was delivered and since the product was now on backorder, I would be left for months with no couch or sleeper for a family member who is staying with me for the summer. It took being on hold for 15 minutes to schedule an appointment with the technician for a repair, making the delivery drivers now late for their next 5 deliveries and I was told there was no guarantee it could be fixed. I asked if at that point it cant be fixed, would I be issued a replacement and the responses I was given were absurd. They couldnt tell me for sure if it would be handled - all they could say was at that point our customer care team would assess the situation, which to a customer means they cant do anything. Your delivery team did a great job, but your customer service and policies are outrageous. It would be helpful to have a process in place when an item comes in damaged that allows the customer to have a place to sit while they wait for the replacements. I would not recommend that anyone purchase anything from a company who wont take care of their own delivery issues.
Chris T was phenomenal in mediating and problem solving an issue I had with my mattress purchase. He went above and beyond contacting me after store hours to calm my already frayed nerves. If you are looking for stellar service and someone who truly cares about his customers, the store manager, Chris T in Carle Place is the person to speak with.

We will have a great sleep thanks to you too! To make things better when you purchase a mattress, you are buying a mattress for a child in need. Charles and Hector personally bring the mattress and set it up for the family. You can tell that they care about their customers.
I entered the store and the ambiance was amazing .ie. the lighting, floor designs etc. Sales rep Tony G drew my attention. He is very knowledgeable about the products and services that the store provides. I had the pleasure of meeting the store manager James who is very congenial and he was helpful with the stock inventory and the procedures pertaining to delivery etc. I will certainly recommend this store based on their prices, excellent customer service and their patience. Much appreciated.
Read Yelp reviews before shopping here, the Google reviews are inaccurate. Long story short, the stores sales people are there to make a sale. Whether it’s furniture or getting you to sign up for the extended warranty, they will promise you whatever sounds good in order to make the sale.The fact of the matter is the furniture is always backordered, almost anything you purchase will take over 3 to 4 months to come. Customer service is accessible within reason, but not helpful. We hoped we would’ve had a better experience then we were warned about, but here we are in the same boat as everyone else. These glowing reviews are pushed on the customer to be done as soon as the sale is made at the store, you write a good review and leave happy thinking you got the best deal possible.When it comes time for the furniture to be delivered, is when the real nightmare starts. After waiting months and months for your furniture to arrive, the products are usually damaged. If the products are damaged, you have to go through the horrible customer service route, as you cannot contact the store directly. When we purchased our furniture, there were multiple customers in the store causing a scene, this should’ve been a red flag. Yet we were reassured by our sales person, Richard and one of the “store managers”, Hector, that we would not have a similar experience.If this company I was more transparent with delivery expectations and customer service, maybe they would’ve gotten two stars from me but it’s all about presenting this online façade for them with 5 star Google reviews , the customer never really does matter. Stick with Raymond & Flanigan, even if they’re more expensive, the quality and customer service far exceeds Ashley. Shame on you.
I Walked into Ashley’s Furniture and was warmly greeted by Mr. Harry. He gave us his undivided attention through our visit and never once did he get annoyed by our hundreds of questions. Ultimately, Mr. Harry helped us pick out the furniture that we came in to look at and he sat down with us and vigorously worked the numbers to beat satisfy us. Thank you once again Harry, and we will definitely be back to work with you!
Wow, what a great experience at this store from the moment we walked in. Just from appearance it was clear how the staff at this store are working for the customer. This was the first furniture store, out of 10 that actually greeted us. None of the staff were standing around talking to each other. We were also greeted numerous times throughout the store by different employees, and offered us coffee, hot chocolate, and water multiple times. We did not feel like we were guests, or shoppers but rather friends. They made us feel worthy of shopping there, not like someone that was doing them a favor by purchasing. Their attitude even made us look at mattresses (which we needed but we’re not planning on today). They were informative and patient. They went out of their way to answer our questions AND provide extra information to help us understand what goes into purchasing, and how we can be more at ease with the measurements and design of the furniture. Now about the staff we worked with- Harry greeted us at the door, gave us the information we needed and then the freedom to look and have our own conversations before checking on us at the perfect times. What was great was that Harry realized that we would need to reconfigure a sofa on the showroom floor, and he called over another person, Bobby who was an expert in the design aspect of the furniture. That made me feel so much more comfortable buying- bc not only was it someone who specialized but showed Harry’s character. He truly wanted the customer to have what they needed. Bobbys warm and personable nature was an added bonus and his expertise on mattresses made us feel like we were making the right purchases. He was thorough and explained everything.One more thing to note - during covid all other stores had a ridiculous delivery wait times, where as Ashley furniture has a reasonable delivery wait, and we are even getting our bed next week! Also, if you need to have the sofa built because your doorways are too small the price per piece is reasonable too. The positive climate and culture at this store is so evident. It feels really good to shop at this store, and I am sure you will too.
I went into Ashley’s furniture just to look around for a new bed set but I wasn’t expecting to find such amazing service that I did with Rich and Harry. I would never expect the amount of respect and hospitality that I did from a furniture store but they went above and beyond my expectations. I hope every sales manager is like them or at least looks to be them. Thank you so much and I’ll definitely come again. They came just in time to because I was ready to walk out because of bad service when they came and saved the day. From the bottom of my heart thank you for the service.
Harry & Rich were amazing! From the moment my family and I walked in the store we were treated with top-notch customer service.I didn’t feel pressured to purchase anything. I have to share my experience with Ashley Furniture. This was the best experience of my life. Andrew and Hector were the most helpful and professional and polite guys I ever met. We came into the store in Carle Place very upset over the way we were treated at Bobs discount Furniture. We were moving into a new home and were promised to have our furniture before October 1st. Here it was September 21 and I find out our beds and sofa will not be delivered until November. So I canceled Bobs and we walked into Ashley Furniture with a very upsetting problem, to get beds sofa dresser and end tables by October 1st. They accomplished that and more. There was no pushy sales pitch nothing like that. They made us feel like royalty. Even gave us water and snacks. I would recommend Ashley Furniture to anyone. If you ever go to Ashley Furniture in Carle Place NY ask for Andrew or Hector. Two great guys who go above and beyond their jobs.
When I went in to Ashleys with my parents to buy a couch, I was already pretty overwhelmed - wed been to quite a few furniture stores that day, and were exhausted by the time we got to Ashleys. We browsed for a bit, and Andrew let us know that he would be available when we were ready if I found something I liked. I found a couch I loved, and Andrew was so incredibly helpful when we were ready to discuss details. He was thorough and patient without being pushy, and was very understanding about us wanting to browse more options before committing. I ended up getting the couch we had discussed, and he made sure I was clear about everything, every step of the way. It was my first time ever buying a couch, and he made me feel at ease about the whole process.

After looking around for 10 minutes, sales specialists Shantell asked if we wanted help. She was very patient and kind to us. She helped us find a table, chairs and a bed set. She even allowed us to feel comfortable enough to tell her personal details as to why we were buying new furniture. Minutes passed and we felt like family. After completing our order, Shantell introduced us to Hector the store manager who would finalize our order. Hector was extremely nice and explained the entire breakdown of all the charges and was also able to connect with us. He had my mom laughing in minutes which made it an even better experience! They were a joy to work with and I would recommend them to anyone! Loved my experience there!
This is my third time at this location and all I can say is ASK FOR ANDREW! He’s very pleasant and courteous. He knew exactly what I needed when I explained the house layout. The delivery process was really simple and uncomplicated. Definitely the man you need in your corner when making big decisions. Also, as I’ve been an Ashley’s client for many years, I can definitely say purchase the protection plan!! I’ve had them come and fix the sofa 3x after my accidental spills and tears on a wire for the electric power recliner. Will definitely be returning to work with Andrew again.
I was lucky enough to have Bill as our sales person and consultant when my family and I visited Ashley. He knew the entire store like the back of his hand and truly helped to find furniture that matched what I envisioned. This store also has an outlet section and he made sure to find us the best deal possible and to do so while keeping our finances in mind. We ended furnishing my entire apartment in one trip and had a wonderful time. No stress and walked away with beautiful pieces I will cherish forever! We even walked out with a floor sample that he helped us carry out himself (which he did not have to do!) We visited the Carle Place location looking to purchase a dining set and an outdoor dining set. No one offered to help for the longest time. I finally asked if any salesperson was available and they all told me to go to the front desk to request an available person. Even then they seemed hesitant for whatever reason but finally connected us to salesperson Brandon. Once he finally took us on as customers, he was very helpful and we finalized our dining set purchase. He worked to help us get a good deal so we were appreciative of his services. Thanks Brandon!However, the overall atmosphere of this location wasn’t very welcoming so I will not go back to this location even though the layout and presentation may be slightly better than other Ashley locations. I could not put my finger on it without assuming the worst but I just didn’t feel welcomed there for whatever reason. Maybe the staff was having a bad day or they got bad news. However, it was not a good shopping experience for me.

Miles is great! Hes incredibly friendly and helpful. We stopped here on Labor Day for a new sofa/love seat. This location is very relaxed and the sales associates do not pressure you into buying anything. We told Miles our color scheme and we found exactly what we wanted in less than 30 minutes. The whole process took maybe one hour tops. We cant wait to get our new furniture soon!

We had a great experience at Ashley. The woman who helped us, Kim was amazing and she made sure we were thoroughly happy with our selection before moving forward. She laid out our pricing for each item that we were interested in and made sure the furniture we wanted would work with the vision we had in mind. If youre just starting to look at furniture for your home make sure you visit Ashleys because they had a great selection and if youre looking for something on the more affordable/simple side I highly suggest you visit the attached outlet section of the Store, we got some great pieces from that side. Cant wait to go back next year for some awesome backyard patio furniture!
My family and I purchased a recliner for my Great Grandma last Friday. When we entered the store we were greeted by Harry. Harry was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about all the questions we asked him in regards to the recliner we were interested in getting. I wanted to wait til my furniture was delivered to leave a review. I went to the Ashleys store in Carle Place. I was assisted by Derek. He was awesome! He showed me and my sister around the store and i found a bed i wanted. We made an appointment for the next dat and i brought my mom and other sister with me and he helped all of us shop. Grand experience. He did price matches for us, reviewed all payments options and we went with financing. I got my furniture today and everything is A okay!!! Im honestly coming back cus theres more stuff i wanna get. I just moved in a basement with my grandmother and we are both so excited! Shop with Ashleys homestore! Ask for Derek! He is amazing!
Omg!! We love this place and got so much educated on furniture especially on bedroom set. We bought the bedroom set along with mattress. I love Harry and Rich, how they made this process so easy and smooth for customers. I was referred to this place by my loved ones (carle place). My husband and I were upfront with Kim regarding our situation (we were looking for furniture to furnish our newly purchased condo in FL and because Ashley stores are independently owned we would not be able to purchase here for delivery down there). We didn’t want to waste her time in trying to get credit for a sale but she still insisted on walking the showroom floor with us, show us some pieces and answer any questions we had. She was such a pleasure to work with! She went out of her way to make sure our questions were answered. She is a definite asset to the store.
Im leaving a review for Charles. He was our salesperson and he has been fantastic. We changed our order multiple times and he was always available to assist us. He has coffee for my wife waiting for us everytime we come in. We spent over 10k on furinature at this location and the service Charlie provided was exceptional. The salespeople are delightful. This is not a review on them. This is a review on Ashley as a company and its procedures.Purchasing a piece of furniture from Ashley is a convoluted and long process. By the time you leave, youll have signed dozens of paper for a piece of wood. Why is it like this? It isnt that difficult at Macys right across the street.The cabinet I ordered arrived damaged. They called asking for pictures, which I emailed - but they never followed up. The dresser also arrived damaged with staples sticking out from the top drawer which could nick and cut someone. I inspected at the truck and said no immediately. The driver called customer service and they promised to re-deliver within 5 days, but when I tried to cancel the item with customer service, its an impossible ordeal. Calls get dropped. Youre waiting forever... Someone finally says it can only be done in store. WHY? Why is Ashley customer service NOT customer service? They provided me with a store number which ISNT LISTED ANYWHERE ONLINE that rings nonstop and nobody picks up. When I called customer service back for the 10th time they tell me we are aware stores do not respond to phone calls and we are working on it.What kind of company is this!? I called customer service 11 TIMES, and the store 5. No resolution... Whats up with your customer service Ashley? Two damaged items? No cancellation possible with customer service? Nobody returns a call? Get your act together.

Honestly a lot of my decision was because of the service Ms. Fortella provided. She answered all of my queries no matter how off the wall. She was patient and took her time. Can you imagine two visits well actually three visits and every time she was right there with us. Ashley home should be honored to have an excellent employee like Ms. Fortella working for them. She truly understands that when the customer walks out the door what matters most is not what you say, but how did you make them feel. This was my first time visiting this store, I have been to other furniture stores in the area but because of this positive experience and comfortable purchase with Ms. Fortella I would definitely purchase from Ashley home again in the future. A+++++.
Worst store and worst customer service I ever had in my life. Ordered a mattress since January. At the store when purchasing, was told it would get delivered within 4 weeks max. We are now in May and still no mattress. The store clerk dont answer the phone or always tell you they are not at the store when you call and doesnt call back. Unable to reach someone for update and now unable to reach someone for a refund. Worse experience ever. Definitely will never spend another dime at Ashley furniture!!
I walked into the store with my husband and son to buy a dinning room set for our new home. I walked around the store for 10 minutes and no one came up to us. I started to look around and saw the employees staring back but no one offered to help and they weren’t even with customers. They all seemed to be in a bad mood:I am glad this happened because I got lucky to get Andrew Levy. When we first entered the store he was busy with customers but than made his way to us afterwards. Andrew was the best he was patient and not only did he help us pick a dinning room set but also a couch with an ottoman. He gave us some suggestions on how to configure the couch and to get extra pieces. He took his time to let us know the deals that were going on. We decided to buy all the furniture upfront. Andrew was so pleasant and had a great energy towards us and those around him. He was in a great mood compared to his other coworkers. If you come to this location ask for Andrew, he is the best. Purchase furinature from the carle place location. I was so lucky to have Charles as my sales person. I had to change my order 2 times and he was always very responsive and took care of all my needs. Hes great to deal with. Very kind and polite. I recommend him to any future buyers.
Had a wonderful experience selecting furniture for our living room and a bedroom set for my daughter at Ashley furniture. We were lucky to have a lovely lady by the nane of Kim help us .She was very patient with us and took her time in showing us things that would appeal to our taste in style. My family bought a new home and we needed new furnitures. We definitely loved the service that Khadijah Malik gave us. Received the most amazing service. Gabby was super helpful, patient, and not pushy at all. She answered every one of our million questions without doubt. We also were helped by Peter who was amazing as well. Again, answered all my detailed questions, and met all my requests! He sat for hours figuring out how to get us the best prices in our budget. He was easy to communicate with and was even able to deliver our furniture earlier than our original delivery date!! We had the most awesome and satisfactory experience at Ashley, Carle place store yesterday evening. Their employee Mr. Ben was amazing, he was passionate and went to every extent to understand our needs and show us the appropriate stuff. He kept to the commitment of the store in providing a great experience and not just push the stuff to a customer. So I came to Ashley looking for furnitures and I wasnt greeted by anyone, I was walking around looking until I was greeted by this lovely lady by the name of shantall, not only was she great. She was very knowledgeable on the furniture and answer all the questions i have. She was very pleasant and wasnt forcing me to get anything. She was very professional with her work. I have been a customer with Ashley for over 8 years and I have to say shantall has great customer service and work ethic and I will be back to buy more furniture. I walked into this store and an employee named Johanna greeted my boyfriend and I with a warm smile and assistance. She spent almost 3 hours with us looking for beds and sofas, making sure she was satisfying both of our style. She always tried her hardest and she made our shopping experience the best. Also making sure we were always hydrated and not hungry by offering water and snacks. We kept in contact with her while we took some time on deciding what furniture we wanted and she always kept in contact seeing if there is anything else she could do. We finally chose a couch and she made sure that we would have no problems with the deliveries. She is an amazing worker and I dont believe I would of had this shopping experience anywhere else.
The staff at Ashleys are very friendly and informative. They let you look around and dont constantly bother you. They also dont follow you around, but they are close if they are needed. The only thing Ashley Homestore could improve is their policy of the guarantee that they can get any piece of furniture in any room, but they dont have a sliding scale of the cost. It should be based on the construction of the piece of furniture and the cost of that piece. Luckily I found out that the legs on the chair screwed off, because I was not going to pay $170 for them to take apart the $250 chair just to get it in my house.
Im so grateful that I went to Ashleys out in Carl Place NY. Chris Mondello assisted me with purchasing the best mattress ever on my budget. He was very polite knowledgeable, and made me feel very welcomed. I recommend if youre shopping in Long Island, stop by Ashleys because this particular store has excellent customer service. I’d like to thank Davon and Andrew for helping us pick the furniture for our new house. They were extremely helpful and made it very easy. We purchased a living room, a bedroom set and a Tempurpedic mattress. My husband is very excited to try the mattress. We even walked out with a bottle of champagne to celebrate our new home and new furniture . Thank you for everything! I highly recommend it!
Upon entering Ashley Furniture , we were greeted by Dereck who was friendly and very helpful. Ashley Furniture unfortunately uses a third party company for their delivery services . They were careless and unprofessional and destroyed our newly renovated home . Once addressed about the damages , their response was “ you can just repaint it “. The workers placed a call to their boss which told us to take pictures of the damages because there was a possibility we could be lying . We tried contacting Dereck but had no luck . We decided to go to Ashley’s Furniture store where Christopher Taveras understood our frustration and helped us to the best of his ability . After loosing a day from work , we now have to wait another 2 weeks for our couches and take care of damages that we did not cause . Quite an unpleasant experience hoping for a better outcome .
Shantall was amazing! Very personable and friendly. She took care of us from the moment we walked in the door with great patience. We love the pieces we purchased, a dining room, and a cute bar! Cant wait to receive them. We will be returning for more pieces in the future.George and Alecia.

Great store. Lots of selections, reasonable prices, associates were extremely helpful especially for an inexperienced shopper like me, even reminded me that I needed to check with my building about insurance. Delivery also excellent, people were communicative and followed up. Highly recommend.
Kim Fortella was beyond patient, sweet, and understanding. I went shopping for living room furniture, and with such a pricey type of purchase, of course I was being indecisive and unsure of what I was looking for. Kim allowed me to visit other stores before I made a deicision, but after our initial meeting, I knew I was coming back to Ashley’s to meet back with Kim. She was able to formulate prices for 4 different set-ups I was considering, which could be annoying, but Kim did not appear bothered at all. I felt extremely comfortable working with her, and was finally able to make a decision; I’m excited about my living room set arriving in a couple of weeks. Loved this store. Huge selection of quality products , friendly service and excellent displays. My Sales person, Kendrick, was awesome! He was courteous, knowledgeable, quite patient and attentive to what we required. I appreciated the no pressure and friendly service at this location. First I want to say dealing with Charles was an amazing experience. I had ordered from the farmingDale outlet and the sales guy was so rude I canceled that order and went to carle place. The atmosphere is so much better there and Charles the sales person was a total gentleman. If you come here ask for him he takes care of his customers.
This store is very well put its clean and the employees are very helpful. Especially Andrew and Charles, they provided me the best retail experience I had in a long time. I could tell they were both very busy but they both spent time with me picking the couch my wife and I love. They took turns assisting us and by the end of the day we are very happy we decided to come.
Upon meeting Hector Cruz, Sales Manager he was nice enough to show my husband and I some pieces. He was knowledgeable and offered was to either purchase or finance what we were looking for. I would definitely be doing business with this company as the prices are reasonable and selection quality is great. Check this place out for yourself and see what you think about it.
We went in to buy a new dining set and were helped by Andrew and Renne. They were both so pleasant and extremely helpful. Made the whole purchase extremely smooth for us, made sure we get a price match and earliest possible delivery which was our priority. I would definitely recommend asking for Andrew and Renne if you want the best possible deal for your money!

2022-01-07We purchased a couch from the Garden City location in November and have not had a good experience. We told our sales rep it was important to us to pick something out that would be delivered within the month. The lead time for the couch was one of the biggest drivers in our decision. That being said, we purchased a 5-piece sectional and were told 2 pieces would be delivered at the end of Nov & the rest by mid-December. The first 2 pieces were delivered as expected but then we heard nothing from Ashley in December.I called the store to find out the status of the last 3 pieces & they said it would be delivered by mid-Feb! I understand that there are supply chain issues, but I expected Ashley to contact us and keep their customer informed. If they called & explained the change in delivery time & kept us in the loop my experience and review would be very different. Additionally, we wish the sales rep would’ve been more honest about the delivery time. We might’ve made a different decision had the sales rep been more realistic about the delivery date. I escalated the complaint to management at Ashley but unfortunately got nowhere. So here we are with 2 pieces of a couch with no arms for another few months or maybe more.....

Andrew is incredible and very knowledgeable. He was super helpful, without being pushing. I highly highly recommend you ask for Andrew when going to Ashley Outlet!

He was very knowledgeable about the products they sell. He answered all our questions and explained prices on the items we were interested in buying.Their pricing seems reasonable so take. look if interested in buying furniture. if you like, there is clearance center in the back.

2022-06-21Extremely disappointed in the service I received today. I drove all the way from Queens specifically to come to this location and it was a complete waste of time. I explained to the sales rep that I didnt want to spend a lot because the house Im in is rent. I told her what I was looking for and the price range. The whole time the sales rep is pushing me the warranty plan for an additional $300. I again explained to the sales rep that this was temporary and didnt plan on keeping the couches for more then 3 years. I also explained to the sales rep that I never purchase any warrantys. she goes to work out a price and she comes back almost double of the cost of the couches. I explained again to her this was out of my budget that I already planned in my head. The rep goes back to speak to the manager for better pricing. Before she went, I told the rep please do not include the warranty. She comes back 5 minutes later with a price thats lower by $100. At that point I asked her is the warranty included in this price? she said yes. I immediately thanked her for her time and told her you just lost a customer because you kept pushing the warranty after I told you more than 5 times, I dont want it.As I was leaving the parking lot, I saw Jennifer Furniture and went in just to see what they have. I ended up buying couches over my budget that I had originally planned for and I was extremely happy with the overall experience. They did it right. They made me spend more money, and at the same time I was extremely happy. Win, win situation.As someone who has over 20 years of retail experience in sales and management. I can tell ya, that manager needs to be couched and get up and close a sale. The store was not busy at all. Most of the sales rep were standing around talking to each other and even saw them playing rock, paper, scissor. Be a good manager next time, and great you customers and help your sales people close the sale, not lose it.Listen to your customers needs first, and always. If the customer says no multiple times, understand that the customers mind is already set and doesnt want it.Overall, this was my first time in Ashley Furniture, and absolutely the last. I will 100% go back to Jennifer Furniture because my first time there was also today.

Our Family room set has chenille which I love and which I stained already and it came right off w a little Resolve. You cannot even see a mark. It is sturdy yet very comfortable. The delivery service was wonderful too!

2022-04-07Ran out to the store tonight after Bob’s screwed upmy order and gave away my sectional. Sales person Mike was so professional and we told him what we wanted and found us a much nicer sectional for an even better price. Also found an outdoor furniture set that I have been hoping to buy but thought would be too expensive. It’s super comfortable and goes for a great price. We were in and out, this is definitely my store from now on.

Her suggestions were on target and she really worked with me to bring my vision of what I want my new place to look like to life! She made what can be a stressful process much easier!!!!
