Went there looking for reclining couch and loveseat after going to two other local furniture stores. Jasmine helped us throughout the store and was very attentive to what we were looking for. There was no type of sales pressure from her. She just really listened and we ultimately decided to purchase a wonderful set. Their prices are pretty reasonable too. I definitely recommend you check out Ashley HomeStore when youre looking for furniture. Theres a lot of choices, prices are reasonable, and great customer service.
One of the worst experiences I have ever had. I am going to make it clear from the start, I am a minority, female, great credit score and have money to spend. I am approached by a minority, female salesperson who unfortunately has some assumptions about me already in her head. First problem is that she assumes I need a store credit card ( I go along because I want to see the outcome of this). The kiosk was acting erratically so after three times of entering my data the salesperson calls over a man who I assume is the store manager but I do not know because he does not have any manners or customer care to introduce himself and say. Then they say try on your phone, then use the store computer and the salesperson can put in your personal data😡. Now what was really making me mad is the salesperson, she repeatedly says the dining table you want will not be here until December, you can save up the $1300 by then 😡. You do not know me, and I do not need you to assume anything. By the way I got approved for a $10,000 credit line, and I then left the store. I closed my account and I will never step foot into this store again.😡
I purchased a couch from Ashley Furniture in March 2021. They convinced me that their 12 week waitlist for delivery was what every furniture store in the area was dealing with because of covid. I went to Lake Effect Furniture and Mattress as well as Value furniture. They both gave me the same 6 week waitlist. I waited 6 weeks and then decided to check out Raymour & Flanigan. They had an even better and cheaper couch delivered within 7 days. I canceled my order with Ashley Furniture. This Monday I ordered a new mattress and box spring from Raymour & Flanigan. It was delivered the very next day on Tuesday. Dont waste your time with any other furniture store.
Very pricy, months for furniture to arrive and the warnty is not what it use to be. Its unfortunate as I bought my first set here and the price and quality were amazing, so I was hoping to purchase from them again. I will definitely be shopping and purchasing somewhere else.
My boyfriend and I were looking into getting a new dining room set since ours is somewhat dated. We went in and were greeted by Cathy who was absolutely incredible. She listened to what we were looking for and showed us every option that fit what we wanted. When we grew indecisive over two different sets, she suggested we take chairs from one of the sets and put them at the table of the other (because we were liking the chairs more from one but the table from another) to see if that is what we liked more. We didn’t know that was something we could do but it absolutely put the entire set into perspective for us. She was so helpful and we greatly enjoyed talking with her. We’ll definitely look to work with her again.
Nasheyah was so helpful. She spend 2.5 hours helping us pick out furniture. We ended up buying a patio set, reclining sectional, kitchen table, coffee table, end tables and a bed frame. Adam the manager was easy to work with and efficient. 10/10 recommend coming here to get your furniture needs. If you plan on getting furniture, come in now as there is a long delivery time NATION wide so get a head start. Very satisfied. They sell mattresses too!
Excellent help from Alex at the Alberta Amherst store, was sent there from Tom at the Amelia Drive store. He was very courteous, professional, sense of humor and vert knowledgeable regarding Ashleys furniture products. Will be contacting Alex again before snowbirding to Florida in a few days !!
Worst customer service experience. Purchased a table and a warranty through the Amherst location, and the store associate failed to file the paperwork correctly. The warranty company would not fix the damaged furniture because of the paperwork issues.Ashley would not make it right and fix the damage either. Save your money and go elsewhere.
Was just told that a CHAIR we ordered wont be in for another couple months. We waited almost 4 months for our sectional to come in and was told the chair would be a little later....not 2 more months at least. 6 plus months for a 900 dollar chair is ridiculous. The salesman lied to us to close the sale. Would not recommend and will be sure anybody I know or will listen doesnt get conned by this place!
On August 20, 2020 I purchased a sofa, loveseat and two end tables from Ashleys on Alberta Dr. I was promised a delivery date of October 22, 2020. I was reluctant to purchase because the delivery date was so far off but they explained that delivers are taking 4 to 8 weeks because of the pandemic. I really wanted the furniture, so I was willing to wait till October 22nd. That date came and went and they did not deliver my furniture. They told me it still hadnt come in yet from the manufacturer. They said they would contact me back in a few weeks to reschedule. They never did, so I began to call them every two weeks for an update on my furniture and they kept giving me the same story. So on January 7, 2021, I purchased a couch set from another store who had their furniture in stock. I contacted Ashleys on January 8, 2021 to let them know that I wanted a refund. The customer service representative ask me if I would like an Ashleys gift card with $1,814.39, that was the amount I spent. I told her that I wanted my money back on my credit card not store credit. She tells me that they have to evaluate my refund and she will get back to me. She calls back the next day on January 9, to offer me $75 off the furniture, if I would wait for their furniture to come in. Of course I said no and that I want my refund. They claim I will receive my refund in 7 to 10 days. Im scared they may be lying again. I will keep Google posted. I would not recommend Ashleys Furniture to anyone. They never gave me my furniture and didnt seem to want to give me my money back. After they kept me waiting three additional months past my original date.
I purchased a bed to only learn later (as in today)that its Not compatible with the adjustable base I need. Idk Why the sales woman didnt advise me of this. I would have selected another bed. She went so hard only to leave this key info out. An she Knew this because I purchased the bed with her as well! Now I have to exchange/return...smh
Most traumatic and discriminating experience in the multiple years we have stayed here in the USA. We were here to buy a comfortable mattress (without any financial constraints) and some furniture but this was the most discriminated we ever felt. Seems like they judge you based on what you wear and your country of origin. We went there on a warm Saturday afternoon dressed in not so fancy casual clothes unlike others. The conversation started with where we were originally from (which was perfectly fine) and then things just went downhill. Given our appearance and country of origin the salesperson just assumed we were downright poor and couldn’t afford anything there. We clearly told the lady assisting us that we would like to buy a mattress which is most comfortable for us and price is not a concern still she kept pointing us to the cheapest of the lot. We even mentioned we are ready to pay the full amount right then and there if we liked something and yet she completely ignored us and kept showing how we could go for an installment plan to make it more “affordable” to us. After this going on for a long time, we just got frustrated and left the place mostly to never visit this place ever again.
Im not really sure what I was expecting from this store to be honest but when I walked in it was the oddest experience at a store I had ever had. The store front was very nice and because it is all glass of course it is set up to draw you in and make you to see what is inside. However before I even got to go into the store I was stopped at the door by what looked like a hostess podium. I thought at 1st it was set up for COVID checks (to which I thought cool/cool safety 1st) but nope, it was in deed a hostess (which explains her lack of a mask) explaining the deals and specials of the day 😂. I once went to a car dealerships that had a similar set up, I also did not buy a car from them...I guess this approach is just not appealing to me outside of a restaurant 🤷. I find it very strange and odd. Anyways after she explain to me how to view the store and that the prices are not the prices listed on the front of the tags but the back of the tags (why?? just why, just put the price on the item). I walked around looking for a kitchen section after all it does say homestore, is the kitchen not part of my home but nope no kitchen furniture, bummer...so I ended up ordering a wonderful wine rack cabinet from Amazon Home. Its beautiful, and I did not need a hostess cause there was only one price listed front and center without having to be explained to me.
Avoid Ashley HomeStore at all cost. The delivery and dispatch department are completely incompetent. I had a delivery scheduled for between 1pm-4pm yesterday 3/12. I had to work in the morning and was planning on being home by 12 pm. I get a phone call while Im working at 11:15 am stating they already arrived. I called back right away and was told since they arrived earlier than scheduled, they would return between 12:30 pm - 3 pm. Long story short, after several phone calls with multiple people telling me they would come back, they never did. I received a phone call saying they were done for the day and would have to reschedule the delivery on Monday. We have no furniture in our home right now and have to wait even longer for the delivery due to the routing manager being a moronic, incompetent fool who clearly doesnt know how to do their job. Save your time and spend your money elsewhere.
Horrible experience. Extremely late deliveries, and excuses after excuses. Only after I called to cancel my order because I wasnt going to wait an EXTRA 4 MONTHS! for my couch, they magically moved it up to a few weeks away (probably some poor other soul got their couch put off for months) and now, 3 months later after requesting replacement parts for a table that came defective, I have no replacement parts, no communication and a sh!t table. Ill never buy from there again. Simple as that.Edit: cant respond so Ill edit. The apprx delivery date was mentioned to me, the first one they said apprx two months. Then I called a few times just to confirm the dates. On the third or fourth time one lady says it should be in around April...thats THIS month, aka, 4 months after they said I should expect it. The worst part is, no one called. I had to call several times to even get any info. And now, those spare parts I needed are also in the wind and no, I wont call back. I jimmy rigged the table to work and Ill never be dealing with Ashley home furniture again. Thanks anyway. I strongly suggest anyone reading this before buying, dont. Go somewhere else. If you have an order and youre waiting for it, cancel it. Take there restocking fee as a loss and move on.
Mary G at this Ashley furniture location is amazing! She makes you feel like she truly cares about you getting the right furniture pieces for your home, she’s patient and attentive. She has made our furniture buying experiences very pleasant! In turn this continues to bring us back for more purchases, without looking elsewhere first.
Wait time of 9 months for furniture that arrived broken. Thousands spent on a sofa that is already losing its firmness after 9 months and all of the throw pillows it came with the zippers broke. Offered a $25 gift card to make up for it. The company is a joke. If I could give them zero stars, I would.Corporate approved an exchange in February due to quality and manufacturing issues. Your local corporate office denied that yesterday when they showed up for the exchange. We also paid $1k more for a different sofa. Someone needs to reach out to us and fix this. Or at the very least make sure we get our additional $1k back and not steal it.
I had a terrible experience with Ashley furniture. I just moved into my new home and had some furniture delivered. the men who delivered my dresser did not take the drawers out first and cracked one of the drawers while coming into the house. I had another family member there due to needing to leave and the 2 delivery men, left the new queen size bed in the box and also left my dining room table in the box. they left my home and did not assemble anything. they also dented my wall when bringing some of the furniture upstairs.i contacted customer service to state my concerns and i was told that the furniture shouldve been assembled. they offered to send the SAME men back out to assemble the items that they had left in the first place. when i refused this, they offered to send out a different team the next day.my family member needed to put the bed together due to needing a place to sleep. the table was the only thing that needed to be assembled. we asked if they could take the boxes for the bed since their team was supposed to put it together and we were told no, we can only take the box for what we assembled today.This was a terrible experience. I will NEVER order from this store again and i would caution anyone who is considering it.
I would strongly suggest no one purchase from this company.We ordered from them for the first time ever on 4/20, a big girl bed for my daughter. They had no problem charging my account right away and then changed the delivery date multiple times. It turns out the bed is coming in 3 separate shipments, the head board came when planned, the rails came about a week later, and we are still waiting in the foot board which was apparently lost, now it is still telling me to check back for shipping details later. We cant even set the bed up without it.Good luck getting through to customer service! You can wait on chat at least a 1/2 hour or on the phone for an unknown amount of time.Id like to return the whole bed at this point.I will never, ever, purchase from Ashley Furniture again, and I will tell everyone I know not to too.I WARN YOU, DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!
Avoid ordering from them unless you enjoy being completely lied to and frustration is up your alley! We ordered a couch 11/3/20 for up to 16 weeks for delivery it’s now 4/2/21 and no couch and no communication. When I called into the store they said it could be a few more weeks to months (plural) with zero empathy or remorse. Understand we are 1 year into the pandemic however they have no insight into timelines still or are lying to make sales either way the only compensation for customers is extreme frustration!!!!
Ordered a mattress and adjustable base with some accessories and had a delivery date scheduled. Got confirmation the night before and one of the conditions was that I had to dispose of my own mattress and box spring. I woke upon the scheduled delivery date and put the mattress and box spring out to the curb and waited for delivery this morning only to receive a phone call that the delivery truck had broken down and they were unable to deliver the products.I can understand that things happen , but when I was told that the delivery date was planned for 6 days later , I had a real problem. What will I sleep on for 6 days waiting for the rescheduled date. When I told the manager that I had already thrown out the old mattress. I was not offered any compensation for their mistake. Customer service is terrible and I recommend doing your shopping at Raymore and Flanigans. I would offer no stars if that was an option.
Went in on Presidents’ Day looking for a new sofa. Found one we both liked but wanted to look at other places as well. We returned one week later to purchase the couch we initially saw. Or sales rep was kind, personable and got the order done quickly. We set a delivery date for 2 weeks. We go through the motions to donate our couch. Move furniture out of the way anticipating the delivery. 2pm day of delivery I get a phone call saying the sales rep ordered the pieces wrong and it would not be delivered today. I was told I would get a call the Morning to schedule my next delivery date. I was annoyed, but agreeable mistakes happen. The next day I did not receive a call. Waited on hold for an hour just to be told that my couch was on backorder and it would be one month till delivery.I now have no couch, and I have a bad feeling my delivery will not go as scheduled. Delivery is for 4/14. 5 days before a birthday party I’m hosting.
Whenever the time comes to buy furniture for our home, the choice is obvious. We go to Ashely Furniture. We have found the salespersons to be helpful but not pushy, the store always neat and clean, and the products we purchase to arrive as indicated and with no problem. We have enjoyed may years with our Ashely Furniture and look forward to our latest purchase to be the same.
They have gotten too expensive. 3 years ago I bought my living room and kitchen sets there but the one is n Orchard Park and the total for everything was $1600. Today I went looking for a comfortable 32 - 36 wide accent arm chair for between $299. To $350. and only found 1. The next was $399. So what happened to the clearance room or dont they do at this location? I need a taupe, beige, or brown with the specs above. Guess I need to try elsewhere.
We have been very disappointed with purchases and plantium ultra warranty.We purchased 2 identical power recliners with the warranty we filed a claim for the one chair that would no longer sit upright and was crooked. They refused stating wear and tear.The other purchase was for a sofa. This took months for the items to be delivered, we utimately cancelled the purchase.
Probably the worst furniture experience ever. Paid $1000 for a reclining sofa. I showed the rep, Louis at their Amherst store , a local competitor’s reclining couch (that was also made by Ashley). He showed us a similar couch, we liked and ending up buying it. Had to wait 3 months for the furniture , it finally gets delivered today and they sent us the wrong product , a recliner seat and not the couch we ordered. Went to the store, spoke to the GM Micah, they refused to sell us a floor model, couldn’t immediately schedule a pick up while we were in the store, and it will take almost two weeks to get the refund,it’s just unacceptable. THEY THEN CALLED AFTER THE FACT AND TRIED TO REFUSE A REFUND because I accepted delivery, WHICH I WAS INSTRUCTED TO DO BY THE DELIVERY GUYS AND AFTER THEIR GM SAID THEY WOULD. I think car salesmen are more honest than these guys. I will never recommend anyone I know to ever shop here and I’ll make sure to tell as many people about this as possible so they won’t be making the same mistake.
Cathy was extremely helpful with our purchase!! We originally came in for one thing and left with 3 lol!! She made the items work with our budget and got us what we wanted for the price we wanted. She went above and beyond with her help and knowledge. Will definitely be returning to Ashley Furniture and seeing Cathy again for any of our furniture needs!!!
After an initial pleasant sales experience, Ashley Furniture truly disappointed in the end. The 3 piece couch I purchased in 2019 fell apart nearly 6 months later. I called to have it fixed under the 1 year warranty. They said it was covered and sent a technician out to fix it. Great! Instead, the technician came out, told me it has severe damage and would probably need to be replaced. Customer service called later and said it is not covered under the 1 year warranty because it was not their responsibility. The materials used are low quality particle board, that begin to crumble as soon as its in your living room. I figured Ashley would be eager to remedy the situation for a loyal customer and honor the 1 year warranty. I would not recommend this furniture to anyone.
My husband and I went into the store with only the vaguest idea what we wanted to buy. We wanted to replace all of our furniture in our living room and we needed help with everything. Our sales lady Barbara Woolsey, helped us pick out a whole new set, figure out a good arrangement in our living room and helped us with colors. She was very attentive and patient as she guided us through the process. Customer support was also great through the delivery process. We received timely updates and calls about the status of our deliver.
I seen a couch and chair on line and went to the store to see in person. loved it ..went back and bought it and paid in full, got a good price. in the beginning of march the delivery was delayed for two weeks. then the shout down hit. i heard nothing from the store until 5/14 when i was told my set was discontinued. i asked to buy the set on the floor and was told OK and would be contacted by the store manager. he did contact me to say they had dropped the ball and that set was sold the day after I was promise it. never again!! bad form!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience buying new furniture. There were an overwhelming amount of options, Burt was extremely helpful in helping us narrow down and decide on a sectional. The manager Jon helped us finalize the purchase and was very helpful as well. We will definitely be returning customers and definitely seek out Burt.

My fiance and I went in yesterday browsing living room sets for our new home, but we did not have the intention to buy just yet as we arent moving for 2-3 more months. Alex was accommodating and available to us, while not being pushy, which is very important to me in an associate. He pointed us in the right direction and helped us find a great living room set that we ended up purchasing because we loved it so much! It was nice that Ashley offered the option to order the furniture now, but have it delivered in a few months time and not have to start paying for it until it gets delivered. This made it doable for us right then and there. Great experience overall!
Amy was amazing. She provided great service and really seemed to care. I know it’s not the companies fault but due to COVID there delivery has been really off. Mine took 4 months and unfortunately we could not fit it. Now I have reselected but will have to wait another few months. Overall good experience due to service.
My husband and I stopped in over the weekend to find new furniture for our family room. The selection was fantastic. Very difficult to decide what we wanted because we wanted so many sets. Our salesperson, Kate was very friendly and helpful. With her help we found the perfect sectional. We took advantage of the zero interest financing, which is awesome. Overall , we were very happy with our experience and plan to return when our dining room needs to be updated. Check them out . Its worth it.
My couch was 13mnths old when the entire side caved in. I was finally able to get someone to come look at it, and the technician couldn’t fix it, so he had to put a report in. When I tried to contact someone I was unable due to the pandemic. So 2 weeks ago I was able to finally speak with someone, and she told me she would have to look into it, and call me back. Well 2 weeks later I had to call back because I was not contacted, and now I have to send my couch out to be fixed. Leaving me without a couch ( this is my only one) for 1-3 weeks. The price I paid for my couch this should have never happened. I have bought cheaper furniture in the past that has lasted years longer. And now I have to have no couch, still pay on it , and worry that this may happen again. Poor quality furniture. I will not be purchasing anymore from Ashley !!
Me and my husband had Barbara Woolsey she was amazing. She was knowledgeable and patient. She worked with our budget and helped us find what we were looking for and even mixed and matched pieces from sets to get us the look we were going for. I would recommend Barbara if you need anything she wasn’t pushy or aggressive yet was present when we needed advice. we thank her for assisting us with our first Ashley’s purchase
I was debating even sharing how bad our experience with Ashley furniture was because I’m not that type of person but after today finding out we were charged for furniture we never even kept pushed me over the edge. Never in my life have I received such horrible service with Ashley Furniture. A couple months back we ordered 3 different pieces of furniture two months before we were moving into the new place. We purposely ordered so far in advance so we wouldn’t have to be without furniture. 3 days before our delivery date Ashley calls us to tell us it will be another week and a half because they didn’t have our furniture ready. Fast forward to the new delivery date everything gets delivered in the wrong color... ordered a grey couch they brought a brown one, ordered a black console table they brought a brown one. Gets even better.. they refused to take our furniture that was incorrect out of our house and left it for a month due to having no trucks available to come get it. Finally after a month it got picked up. It’s been almost two weeks today that it’s been picked up and we get CHARGED for the furniture that we don’t even have. I’m absolutely disgusted and furious with Ashley furniture. My best advice is to believe the reviews and NEVER give Ashley furniture your time of day.
Barbara Woolsey greeted us in a friendly manner as we explained what we were looking for. After listening to us she patiently helped us look at the choices the store had, the furniture company had, and our experience was with an Ashley furniture store in Colorado. She never rushed us and was caring and respectful. She is an asset to your store. We at first thought we would wait to buy, but I felt so comfortable with Barbara that we bought it.
The Amherst Ashley Home Store had a great selection of furniture. Doug was great! He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the items we were interested in purchasing. We bought them, he arranged for delivery in a timely manner, and everything came right on time. Everything was great! Thanks Doug!!!
I am always happy with the service I receive. Their sales staff are knowledgeable and are not pushy. They give you time to look around without feeling pressured into a purchase. All of my living room and basement furniture is from their store and I have since purchased a mattress and frame from them too. Their financing options are perfect for our familys budget.
Our Visit to Ashley Homestore was a great experience !! Doug was our Sales Representative and he understood that we were new homeowners and exceeded our expectations!! John the General Manager and Doug did a great job in coordinating the delivery of our Dining Room and Living Room!! A great experience and definitely will recommend this location to our friends and Family!!

I havent received the delivery yet, its due April 1st, unless it gets postponed due to Covid 19Edit: changed from 5 stars to 3 stars, delivery was canceled due to Covid 19, when delivery resumed I was informed that the couch that I ordered is no longer available, very frustrated after waiting 4 months for this couchEdit again: changed to one star, went into the store to look for another choice. I called ahead and they let the original sales person know that I was coming back in, when I got there they told him we were there waiting for him, after 45 minutes looking around this sales person never came out, when we left he was lounging in a corner talking to a coworker.I DO NOT recommend Ashley HomeStore
My husband and I had a great experience today at the store. We are closing on a new house next month and our salesperson, Kate, was incredibly helpful. She wasnt pushy, gave us great advice and helped us select beautiful pieces for our new home. We were unable to purchase today but as soon as we close, well back. Thanks for all of your help today. We really appreciate it.
Nasheyah was wonderful to work with. She was extremely helpful throughout as well as friendly. I went in yesterday with my girlfriend just casually looking and went back today to purchase the couches that we found. Her customer service was above and beyond, helping us as a couple who had no idea what we needed. She catered to our needs and request, tailoring the items to fit us perfectly. Well be going back to her for any of our future needs. I highly recommend her.
My husband and I went in to Ashley today to replace most of the furniture in our house and we were extremely pleased with the services we received. Adam was our sales person and he was so helpful not only with answering our questions, but also moving furniture all over the store and making recommendations we wouldnt otherwise have thought of.I highly recommend Ashley furniture and Adam to anyone in the market.
My family and I went to this locations in hopes to purchase a couch tonight. Cash mind you. Ready to buy a 7 pc sectional. We roamed the store looking at options, passing many employees amongst the way. Not 1 person greeted us. We walked around for a good hour, waiting to be helped. Employees just walked right by us like we were not even there. Ill take my buisness where it is actually wanted. As we walked to our car a stranger overheard us complaining to one another and said she has been here 3 times and people have never tried assisting her as well. Horrible customer service.
Louis. Nothing short of exquisite service. Exceptionally knowledgeable; terrifically patient. My Husband and I wandered relentlessly for hours in search of furniture to complete our newly renovated home. A full-scale upgrade from our current furniture. Miraculous experience. Highly recommend. I purchased furniture at Ashleys home furniture and had a great experience! My salesperson Pat was outstanding! He saved us a lot of money. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! I ordered a living room set over a month ago. They charged my card RIGHT AWAY, yet I still have no furniture. Not to mention, I cant even find my order online anymore. Ive sent emails, Ive called, left msgs....STILL NOTHING. Now theres no furniture AND over $1000 is missing. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. VERY DISSATISFIED
I was charged with trying to furnish 2 separate 2 bedroom loft apartments for our company for corporate housing - and in a hurry. The service and attention to detail was beyond professional. The staff was courteous and helpful and the selection of furniture was amazing. The new Urbanology line was ideal for the urban lofts we are looking to outfit. All were sensitive to our quick timeframe and offered to keep me up to date on the availability. I would highly recommend Ashley to friends in the future. It was a top notch experience!
Ashley sells furniture that is very low in quality. I feel bad for the staff working on the floor because they were very friendly and helpful, but they are stuck trying to sell some really bad products! I can’t imagine what the markup is on there Chinese imported items. Some of the stuff on the floor was already showing signs of wear. Lastly, don’t be enticed by the cheap electronics and cup holders that are featured on many of the sofa’s and loveseats.
Terrible experience from the start. GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Even Facebook Markeplace or Craigs List. Our sales representative was rude and clearly not knowledgable of the products in the store. We just needed an inexpensive replacement bed and decided - against our better judgement to purchase even with the terrible customer service. BIG MISTAKE! The problems really began to start at check out when the sales rep couldnt figure out how to schedule our delivery at check out. We were provided with a business card that had a scratched out phone number and a new one written over the top to call and schedule delivery.After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes we were final able to schedule and received a date for 3 weeks later. Flash forward to the day of delivery. Our scheduled window began at 11am but at 9:30am I received a voice mail that our delivery was cancelled and that I would get another call later that day to schedule a new delivery for Monday (2 days later). Big surprise - a return call never came. I called again on Monday, when the customer service line reopened again, to find out they were not coming on Monday and I could get a delivery date for another 3 weeks away. Clearly I was unhappy and I was able to get a sooner delivery date of the end of the week.Two days prior to delivery I received a call with my window (11am - 1pm). Around 12:00pm on delivery day I received another call saying they wanted to update me and let me know that the delivery would be closer to the end of my time window, around 2pm. Yes you read that correctly - 2pm even though my delivery window technically ended an hour sooner than that. Turns out the delivery people did not show up until AFTER 5:30PM - 4.5 hours late!! But dont worry, it doesnt end there....The delivery people showed up and did not have the hardware to install the bed. So now we were left with pieces of a bed in the room and hallway with a promise to get a call the next day. You guessed it - NO CALL THE NEXT DAY! I finally called the store and asked to speak to a manager. I did get ahold of one who assured me someone would call me Monday to figure out a solution but just to warn me they most likely would not be able to assemble the bed for me as that was considered a tech visit not a delivery visit and tech visits arent approved during COVID.Well I felt a little more confident speaking to a manger but then two days go by and no call again. Over the next 4 days I sat on hold for over an hour each day waiting to speak with someone about what to do next and each day someone said they would personally call me back tomorrow with a solution. On day 4 I finally demanded a refund. At first they offered me a gift card instead. Ummm NO!! Youve got to be crazy to think I would ever shop with you again!Finally, on July 11th they came to pick up the pieces of the bed after now a month of sleeping on the floor and 2 weeks of bed pieces all over my house. It is now July 28th - 17 days later and they still have yet to process my refund. I did call the store about a week ago to discuss where my refund was and the store associate said a manager would call me back the next day - Im still waiting (insert eye roll here) for that call.Do NOT shop at this store! It is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced - from start to finish. Including from store managers. Go literally anywhere else.
Ive had plenty if great service from Ashley but, this last delivery was quite a fiasco. I got stuck in Canada for my delivery date and had to reschedule. Nobody told the delivery drivers that so I got an aggravated phone call from the deliver guy during a poker tournament.When I returned home I was once again sleeping on the couch and with sore back called to try an expedite delivery. I was given an earlier date and told to call for a time on that day.I wait for the day to call and nobody knew anything about the expedited delivery.Then I was told that my furniture could not be delivered until that day because it wasnt in from the manufacturer. Well then how did they already try to deliver it? So now Ive been lied to.The only reason I am thinking of keeping the furniture is because I enjoyed the sales representative who sold me the furniture. Other than that, Ashley dropped the ball. Very disappointed...
Ashley HomeStore was having a great financing option with no interest and my significant other and I just bought a new home and we decided to come in to look but we fell in love with so many things and decided to get all of the major things we need for our first house now. Jon was here for us from stepping in and provided us with professional and courteous service every step of the way. He even went above and beyond to get our credit line increased to ensure we were able to get everything that we loved. He is awesome and we are super impressed with the level of service and great offers here, we will definitely be back. Thank you!
Horrible experience. I purchased a couch and the first set delivery date had to be rescheduled.. okay no big deal. Then my second delivery date had to be rescheduled. When the second date came they called and said the couch arrived damaged from the manufacturer and had to be re ordered and rescheduled for a third time!! At that point I was so annoyed that I just wanted my money back. I then spent over an hour on hold to speak to someone at customer service and no one ever answered my call. I then called the store and spoke to someone who said she would issue me a refund and send me a confirmation email. No email was ever sent. I had to go to the store and talk to someone at the desk there. I finally got my money back and it’s safe to say my experience here was so incredibly awful I will never ever shop here again. I will be getting my couch at value city Furniture instead.
Extremely Satisfied. Customer Service almost seems like a thing of the past but Ashley Furniture delivered on time very professionally. We purchased the Juararo Bedroom Furniture Set for my Grandchildren . It is beautiful, well made . I want to thank Ashley for my total hassel free experience.
Yesterday our new mattress was delivered. Last night was our 1st night sleeping on it. It was amazing. I actually woke up fully rested and without any pains. My husband and I cant wait to go to sleep tonight. I want to thank Kate for all her help in choosing the right one for us. She listened to us and our needs and took the time to find us the perfect mattress. Also, big thanks to the delivery guys. Super nice and they did a great job.
I have not yet received the furniture I purchased (Ill update this review if anything does not go as expected), but I had a very positive shopping experience at this store. Several other furniture retailers Ive visited have left me feeling harassed by salespeople and pushed toward purchases that were not what I wanted, but at this store I had no such problems; Tom helped me to get exactly what I needed at the best possible prices, while also giving me the time and space to browse and make my decisions. I would highly recommend this store.
This place is a running joke between me and my boyfriend. Weve only had rough experiences here with our orders taking forever and even the delivery process itself. They wouldnt take an exchange on a couch so gave us store credit instead. We cant even get rid of it because we dont want to shop here and the credit cant be used on the website.I ordered two bar chairs months ago, and we decided to order two more. Weeks later we finally get them and they are totally different sizes!Maybe others have had a better experience, but Id just be cautious.
I was looking to buy a full bedroom set and a new mattress and Trish was extremely helpful in helping me find the perfect set for me! I didnt feel pressured to buy anything on my first visit and she was very helpful in crunching some numbers and finding me the best financing option for me. When I went back to purchase the set a couple weeks later, I was confident I was making the best choice for me and for the amount of money its worth, Im glad I made the decision to buy from this location.
Trish was absolutely outstanding! We ordered a product that we were told by another salesman would fit into our house. The delivery crew who came tried every which way to make the item fit. They were excellent and really gave their best effort. The item would not fit. We learned that we were given the incorrect information by the first sales representative. We immediately went back to the store, disappointed after not being able to get our furniture. Trish went out of her way to make sure we saw all options, they were correctly measured and we had what we needed. She really did amazing service recovery! My husband is much happier now as the item is for his mancave. :-)
I will start by saying I dont usually write reviews but after my experience today I felt the need. I think we write reviews when we want to complain and things go wrong but we forget to give credit and kudos to a job well done! I thought I was going to spend yesterday relaxing and watching football till my wife said we needed to go furniture/mattress shopping UGH! We visited the Ashley store in Amherst, my wife excited to shop and me with my big fat miserable attitude! When we walked in there she was already just what I expected a sales woman just waiting to pounce and follow us around! She politely welcomed us in and as if already sensings what I was thinking (leave me alone and dont stalk me)she told us she would give us some space to browse around awhile and she we check in with us in a bit which she did. I have to admit when she approached again I was rather rude. I told my wife she could pick out the bed frame she wanted but we were NOT going to purchase today or even attempt to do a mattress as I had not done my research yet and with both of us suffering and having trouble sleeping( getting old stinks!) it was to important and we should not jump into it. I had in the past worked in commision sales myself so I had a good idea of what to expect. Im not sure how or when it happened as I fought it every step of the way but I found myself laying on a mattress. So here is where everything I had a preset notion about went out the window! Our sales woman (Barbara W) was so patient as we explained our many issues and what we were looking for. She was extremely knowledgeable about the products but what amazed me was her understanding of what and why we needed to help us with our health issues. The vast amount of knowledge on the subject of getting a better nights sleep she knew was amazing! She said she really wanted to help us sleep better not just sell us any old mattress, and I believe her! The time it takes to gain all that knowledge the patience she had with my wife and all the time she spent with us (hours) is not a sign of a sales person who just wants your sale and does not care. I would have bought right then and there but my wife and I are not sure if we want to keep our king or do a queen size. We set up an appointment to go back in a couple days to make our purchase. My wife said she has just as much passion and knowledge in furniture area as she did with the mattress but I was not paying attention( they had the football game on). So do yourself a favor if you shop at this location ask for Barbara W. you wont be disappointed with getting your typical pushy, aggressive sales person you will have a relaxing fun experience. So kudos to you Barbara!! You are one of the rare ones and I hope Ashley appreciates the sales woman you are!
I purchased a couch through them and its a year and the couch which was supposed to be high quality is not holding up. staples have come out at the bottom as well the cushioned pillow you sit on is flattening? And I purchased the 5-year protection plan which doesnt look to cover much. And if you move it voids the manufacturer warranty etc like who stays in the same home forever SMH not very informative at time of asles disappointed with 1800 dollars. I am going back to American freight which I would have paid half the cost for less quality. I am an actual buyer order # 0616943. Wont be back ever but this store got me. One-time deal. Pass them by. Last, this is an update that address doesnt even work multiple attempts and mailer domain failure SMH. very disappointing how about issuing my warranty refund and a direct contact name and number. What a joke.
We came in to look at a new sofa sectional. We were helped by Ayanna who was very nice and not pushy at all. We took 2 days to decide and when we came back we were helped by Greg who was very helpful in setting up delivery, and made sure the credit was given to Ayanna. The entire process was very smooth and we are extremely happy.

In the one hour she helped me find and purchase furniture she was kind, delightful, personable, and so easy going; I felt like I was with a friend of years ad opposed to a saleswoman I had just met!!! I was really impressed with my experience at Ashley Home Store (the one near Wegmans off of Sheridan). I honestly didn’t go in to buy anything that night since it was late and I like to do research before making a purchase. My sister and I were helped by Burt and god bless him because I definitely didn’t make it easy. But he was patient and let me see every head board in the whole store even though I ended up purchasing the first one he showed me. He also was super patient with all the tech issues since I had to fill in my info on a touch screen for the Ashely card and we had to try out a few until we got one to take my info. Burt if you’re reading this I hope you have a great night! I really appreciated all the help!
Went in to look at a new dining room table. Trish helped us out. She was down to earth and did not pressure us at all. She even moved several chairs across the showroom so that we could see what they looked like with the table that we liked! We ended up with a beautiful dining room set and a terrific buying experience! We will definitely return for our next furniture purchase!

My wife and I went to the Alberta Dr. store in Amherst, NY to browse and possibly purchase furniture. I was dreading the experience, thinking I would be hounded by pushy sales personnel, and end up spending far more than I intended to. My Home Furnishing Consultant, Greg Mitchell, could not have been more helpful. He was informative regarding all of their inventory, answered all of our questions thoroughly and was in no way overbearing. His charm and sense of humor was the perfect compliment to his knowledge of the stores products. He worked out very favorable pricing for my purchase, and made the entire experience enjoyable. I look forward enjoying our new furniture for many years to come.
I was shocked at how badly my boyfriend and I were treated by the sales rep Gordin I believe his name was. He was an older man kept degrading us telling us he doesnt think we would want to add the warranty thinking were too cheap or something. kept making sly remarks the requirement for 18month financing was 999 we spent about 1800 and he refused to give us anything better than 12mo. Until we asked somebody else and all of a suddenly it was perfectly fine to be at 18.. He was very jumpy and wouldnt even let me read what I was signing. When asked about the delivery and asked if we could schedule our own date considering we havent moved into the new place yet he was very harsh telling me thats not his job to know and refused to give any insight. He seemed to not know much about what he was doing kept having to ask people for help every step of the way which made us feel uncomfortable. he shouted across the room at us and was just very unprofessional. He claims to have managed a furniture store that went out of business and if he was in management. Im not too surprised. Awesome furniture, terrible service.
Linda G. was an absolutely dream to work with. Not only is she knowledgeable about her products, she was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we picked out the perfect sectional. She is such an asset to Ashley Furniture and we will definitely be back in the near future to see Linda for a new dining room set.
Nasheyah was extremely helpful in every aspect. Understood the purpose of purchase and didn’t try to push me to more expensive items. Jon the manager was equally helpful and understood my budget. Overall great experience and would recommend any looking for furniture or bedding.
Barbara has been very helpful. We have made multiple trips because of our incisiveness and she has continued to offer us with many ideas which led us to purchase a sectional, table and lamp, ottoman and tv stand. I definitely have plans to return and make more purchases.
I would give negative stars if I could. Our mattress was delivered broken one year ago and they still have refused to help us. My credit score has dropped due to non payment for a mattress that is in our basement unusable. They wanted to charge us to take it away. This company is terrible.
Found what I wanted. Salesman reduced price to store competitors price. Seems like 3 weeks is long for expected delivery tho. Salesman seemed to lose interest in me as a customer when I expressed that I didnt plan to spend a lot since couch would be in a seldom used room. In the end he completed the sale and I am pleased with my purchase and the price.
Ben Randles our salesman was great! He helped us find the bed set we wanted and worked within our budget. We were in and out quickly and wasnt pressured to buy, unlike some stores with pushy salesmen. We plan on going back for living room furniture as soon as our house remodel is complete!
When I walked in the door of Ashley HomeStore, I was greeted by Danielle, who took the time to get to know me and what I was looking for. I had found a few things that I wanted to look at from the website, however when it came down to it, I did not like those pieces, she took me around and took the time to find out what I wanted and what I needed. I ended up purchasing a new bed and living room set from her and Pat. I highly recommend going to this store, not only do they work with you on what you want, they also take into consideration what you are looking to spend, Danielle and Pat took time to get to know me as a person and I was not treated as just a sale to them. Thank you so much, I am excited to get my new bed and living room set.
Wow! Went to the OP location to “just look” and came out with a new living room set ... with no pressure or pushy salesperson involved. It was absolutely our best experience thanks to Justin Goeke. He took the time to really listen to us and help provide direction/advice with such realness!! Our decision to purchase our set was 99% Justin and 1% product. We can go anywhere and buy furniture, but the fact that Justin kept it real with us sealed the deal. Thanks, Justin! Can’t wait to put our new living room together!!
Hopefully you’re reading this before your Ashley purchase. If not, there’s time to cancel your order and move on to a much less upsetting experience. Don’t get me wrong, the furniture is lovely and sales folks are fine, but the entire post sale experience is a nightmare. I’ve spoken to several customers who’ve gone through the same mess, and we all regret it. I bought a new condo in Buffalo NY and was so excited to furnish my living room; Ashley Homestore ruined it for me to the point of tears of frustration. It began by my purchase of a couch, chair and ottoman on 9/2/19 in the Camillus NY store for about $2000. I was told delivery would be 10/12/19. Right from the start I was turned off that my furniture wouldn’t be delivered for over a month, but I loved it so I agreed and began counting down the days. I assumed everything was on track, so I walked into a different Ashley Furniture store in Amherst NY store to purchase a desk I loved on 10/5/19 and spent another $450. Combining the orders for same day delivery could not be done and I was given a 11/6/19 date for the desk. A week before the couch was to be delivered, I received several calls in the same day from the incompetent customer service department in Batavia. Each call told me the couch would be delayed two more weeks - a different person called me over multiple calls to give me the same disappointing news my couch would be delayed. Not only that, the customer service department continually called my mother regarding my furniture purchase. I’m in Buffalo, waiting for my furniture, and my mother lives in Syracuse wondering why this company is calling regarding her 37 year old daughter. I finally had to ask this department to stop calling me, and my mother, unless they had news my furniture would actually be delivered on time or sooner. The couch delivery date finally came and I was told to keep time for delivery open between 12-3pm. My mother, not I, received a message that the delivery team was early and wanted to drop off around 11am. Meanwhile, I received a message that must have been an accidental dial laced with profanity amongst the drivers. It made me extremely uncomfortable. I called the number back and they did not answer, nor could I leave a message. The delivery finally arrived during the scheduled 3 hour window. A couple days later, that Batavia customer service department called me (and my mother) to tell me the desk would be delayed from the 11/6/19 date to end of December. Another major delay? Beyond unacceptable! I went into the Amherst NY store multiple times and spoke with the sales rep, several store managers, and asked finally asked for the floor model to be delivered to be 3.9 miles down the street. I needed this desk for work and finally said FORGET IT! Any sales person, after what I’ve been through, would have made this happen. If you’ve stuck with this read you can understand how lengthy and awful this furniture purchase was. It shouldn’t be like this. I ended up purchasing my desk from Raymour & Flanigan, along with an area rug, that was delivered in 48 hours, no problems. I wish I had gone to Raymour & Flanigan right from the start! Trust me, avoid the Ashley headache and go to Raymour - the new store at Eastern Hills is beautiful and Chris K was the best, most patient and knowledgeable sales rep.

She knew immediately what would work and what wouldnt. The first sectional she took me to, after moving and adding pieces to fit my space, was the one I actually ended up buying. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable.
Tom from the Amherst Store is absolutely amazing. He spent probably the better part of 2 hours helping me and my BFF find the perfect furniture for her new apartment and work his magic with financing. Bought furniture in mid August and was told between 8 and 10 weeks. Wait until end of 10 weeks period with no update from the store and then call the salesman and was blown off. I then called corporate and was told no estimate to when furniture would be here. VERY FRUSTRATED WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM A STORE WHEN YOU PAY FULL AMOUNT UP FRONT.
Would rate my experience a 0 if I could. My boyfriend and I came in looking for a sofa chaise for our apartment that was going in the corner of the room. The salesman asked us about the space and took us over to the sectionals. We told him we did not have room for a sectional in our small apartment and he assured us we could just get part of the sectional so that it would have the arm that hugged the corner. We were told it would be delivered in 2 weeks.6 weeks later we finally got our couch. The movers had us sign for the couch before taking off the plastic covering, only to uncover it and there be fabric missing where the other part of the sectional would line up with it. We were outraged and said we wanted to send it back and the drivers told us their truck was full and they couldn’t take it back.After being on hold with customer service I drove to the store to talk to someone in person. I was informed I would have to wait for my return to be processed before they could schedule a pick up. They assured me I would hear from them by Monday.In the meantime we went to raymour and ordered a new couch to be delivered in 2 DAYS! But since I still hadn’t scheduled my pick up I asked for them to come 4 days later instead.When I didn’t hear from them I called and was told they couldn’t do anything until it was processed. I went back to the store to speak to someone in person and had to sit there while they processed my information. Then was told that they couldn’t pick up the couch I did not want until Thursday. My new couch from raymour was coming on Wednesday so I had to rent a uhaul and return it myself! 40 dollars down the drain to return a couch I didn’t even want and I had to do the labour myself!Well a month later I just got a bill for the couch I returned and when I called the credit card company to tell them I returned the couch they said the payment didn’t even get charged til April 7th when I had bought the couch way back in February and returned it on April 2nd. Had to make a THIRD trip to the store to try to speak to someone in person but nobody was at the desk and I was told to write down my name and number.ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I have wasted so much time and money for a couch I never even wanted in the first place. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. The couch we ended up getting from Raymour and Flanigan is a WAY nicer couch for a comparable price and they have 3 day gaurantee delivery. No waiting 6 weeks for something you don’t even want and weeks of trouble trying to get rid of it!
We were greeted by the sales floor manager, he told us where to find the prices, how to determine what was on sale and told us where to start in the store. For once we were left alone to really shop and try everything we wanted without anyone hounding us. When it came time to buy, we had to go get him! It was such a great and easy experience. I felt like I was dealing with another human and not a salesman. No being pushy at all. When it came time to talk numbers, I didnt even have to negotiate, he gave me the best deal!! Will definitely go back in the future.
Tom was amazing! If you’re going to Ashley and you need help with home furniture selections, I would highly recommend Tom! He was knowledgeable, helpful and extremely patient with my sister and I as we made our selections. The store itself had many selections and styles.
Greg Mitchell has got to be one of the nicest sales person I have ever met. I have had several spine surgeries and have trouble sleeping in soft beds. He lead me to exactly what I needed for a mattress. Purchased and entire bedroom set. I am so pleased with his service. Thank you so much Greg.
Alex Douglas was an excellent Sales Consultant. He was helpful, honest and knowledgeable, but he also was respectful of our privacy and allowed us the welcomed freedom to browse the store without pressure. It’s the 3rd month of my order and I am still waiting for my end table.I still love the furniture but a little bit of customer service will be appreciated, I called the corporate office and they told me the store has all the ability to help you , all I wanted is if they don’t have the same piece I will pick a different one!!!By the way the above salesman got promotion and now he wouldn’t even help anyone because now he is a big shot. 😏
My husband and I went to Ashley to purchase some new living room furniture. We have gone to Ashley in the past and have always been happy with the furniture their because of quality and cost. On this visit we had a salesperson named Tony. He was helpful, patient, and not pushy at all. He allowed us to walk through the store and look first before pushing a sale on us. He helped us find exactly what we wanted. He worked with our budget. My husband and I walked out of Ashley Furniture happy with our new furniture and happy with our experience in the store as well! I went in Ashley in hopes to find a few chairs for my dining room table. I was greeted by a sales guy who was awesome. Well he was new so he sold me the wrong item, I only found this out because I went to call and find out why no one had contacted me to set up a delivery date as the store said someone would in 72 hours but did not, I was told that I only purchased two chairs instead of four. She stated the chairs came in packs of two but were priced separate so I was paying over 100 dollars per chair. Well I cancelled the order. I paid for my order in cash which I was told I told if I cancelled it would take three days to get my cash back. But instead the lady on the phone told me I would get my money back in 7-10 days, well I called 10 days later and 6 business day to just check on the status of my refund, In hopes I could put my money on some new chairs. She said it was still processing and it takes 7-10 business days just to process, then it would take about another week to receive my check. Nobody seems to know what they are talking about, the operator said she would send a email to try and rush my check, I was wondering why she can say that would you not make sure all refunds are fast tracked I dont have hundreds of dollars to throw around I wanted chairs weeks ago now I have to wait more weeks, I was going to have guest over now Im inconvenienced. Dont want to buy from them again no one is on the same page. But Im not upset with the sales guy he was new and maybe he had the wrong information, just really disappointed.
After an extensive search online and in various showrooms, my husband and I returned to Ashley Homestore to purchase our living room furniture. We were not only impressed with Ashleys quality, prices and extended warranty, but also with the help we received from consultant Chuck Savasta. He made the purchase of our new Bladen sofas and recliners seem effortless. Chuck was friendly, knowledgeable and professional as he answered our questions, explained the warranty, completed our purchase, and arranged a delivery date. My husband and I were very pleased with the entire experience and look forward to enjoying our new Ashley furniture!
Impressed with the various styles of couches and enjoyed looking at all the store had to offer. The sales persons while knowledgeable and friendly were a little on the aggressive side. I like to leisurely roam around and take my time and I felt pressured and uncomfortable s good portion of my time spent there.I am very pleased with the 2 couches(grey signature designe by Ashley) i have purchased as they are a great value.
We havent purchased furniture in a long time and Nasheyeah made this purchase a fun experience. She is very knowledgeable about the pieces in the store. She listens and deciphers feeble attempts to describe what youre looking for but is able to find that piece in the store! She has a wonderful sense of humor and was just a pleasure to work with. Cant wait for delivery of our new furniture!
We ordered a couch from Ashley. they were supposed to call us 2 days prior to delivery. They never called us and just showed up to deliver the couch and no one was here. Claimed they never had our number yet were able to call and tell me I missed the delivery. The delivery was rescheduled. They never showed up to deliver our couch today and now they supposedly cant deliver it to us until next weekend. They have done nothing to compensate us for their multiple mistakes. Extremely unprofessional. I will never deal with them again.
I was going through the process of moving out of my college apartment with zero furniture and no idea what to look for in a living room set or even the current market prices. So I walked into Ashley furniture (with my mother by my side) doing what any 25 year old boy would (jumping on all the nice furniture and being obnoxious). I met a very pleasant product specialist named Trish. Whom at the start just asked a few brief questions of what I was looking for and gave my mother and I the store lay out. A few minutes passed and she stopped back in with a few in depth questions: price range, area where Im moving, what I do etc. She then went out of her way to make sure that the furniture I was looking at would 95% fit into my apartment to avoid the 12% non-fit fee if I picked out the wrong sofa. After I selected the sofa and table set I liked I decided (my mother decided) we should shop around more. We left and went to all of the other big name furniture stores in the area but, never found another product specialist like Trish. All of the other ones kept trying to push more things onto the bill or showed items that were way out of the price range but, never forgot to add Well with 72 month financing (who wants to take 6 years to pay off a sofa?!?). The following afternoon I returned to Ashley furniture with my little folder of all my information + credit card in hand to purchase my sofa and table set. Through some chit chat with Trish with knowledge that I was not currently in the market for one she decided to take me on a little stroll throughout the show room to give me ideas of entertainment centers and area rugs that would bring my living room together. She gave me information of what to look for in the entertainment center besides the price to make sure I was getting the best deal for my money. Also a small tip that Big Lots area rugs are $20 and work just as well.To sum it all of Trish made my shopping experience at Ashley Furniture Home Store absolutely worthwhile. If you are in the market for furniture and do not stop in to see her youre wasting your time.- Mr.Guns (nickname the cashiers came up with).
We were greeted by a young man upon entering the store. We were asked what we were looking for and he pointed us in the right direction. He gave his name and told us hed be available to help us when we needed it. He checked back with us after a while. We ended up buying a sofa and loveseat. The store was set up beautifully, with easy access to all groupings. His friendly demeanor and product knowledge sealed the deal for us.
I walked in and did not want to adult at all that day, but I ended up having the greatest time with Doug Collins. He gave me space to do my thing but was always there with answers to my millions of questions. Sorry Doug! :) He helped me get the financing in order and low payments to truly make my house a home. Im looking forward to hosting the holidays this year!
Awful customer service experience. Purchased a 2-piece sectional couch that was partially broken when it was delivered. Replacement piece was provided 2 months later that was a different shade of color from the non-broken section. I now have a 2-piece sectional couch that’s two different colors that the store is refusing to fix....Buyer beware. They DO NOT stand by the products that they sell.
The WORST place to buy furniture from! If I could give it less then 1 star I would. My husband and I purchased a new sectional after our wedding, and we were told it would be in within 4 weeks. After I paid for the sectional in full, they advised us it would actually be 8 weeks, but assured us it would be here before Christmas. A week before delivery, they called and told us they only had part of the sofa. We purchased this to have for a large family party we have every christmas-so now they were only giving us half of it, and the other half in January. Well, delivery date comes, they bring the half of the sofa that they have 90% of the way into the house through the SMALLER door, and then decide it wont fit and LEAVE with our sofa! We checked the measurements before we ever ordered and our big door is as wide as their measurements needed online. Then I called Ashley right away, and they said they would not send anyone back out to deliver our couch for another 3 weeks! If we wanted it, we would have to drive out to Batavia and pick it up ourselves (which we dont have a vehicle big enough-why we paid for delivery in the first place). At this point we were left 3 days before Christmas with no furniture and decided to buy elsewhere. Ashley said they would refund me the full purchase price on 12/22/18 and I would have it back on my card in 3 days. Well, it is a week later and I have not received my refund. Absolutely the worst service every! They have had thousands of dollars of my money held up for months, and cant even provide the purchased product or a proper refund. Do yourself a favor and buy anywhere but here!
We bought an extended warranty on our furniture purchased at the Amherst, NY store. We contacted the warranty company August 4th to repair a couple items on our recliners. They eventually came out for one of the repairs but we still havent seen them cone back yet to fix the other issue that was submitted the same day. We will never buy from Ashley Furniture again. Pour quality materials and a paid warranty is completely useless when its ignore.
Had the same experience as several other customers. Ordered a bedroom furniture set from the store and paid for the delivery and assembly fee (over $100). On delivery day they missed the scheduled delivery time and called my wife afterwards (who took the day off from work to be here) to tell her that they could not make it out and that they would have to call back and provide a new delivery date. We had to call them that same day for follow up. After getting that settled a new delivery date was provided. Two days later when the techs came out for delivery/assembly they put most of the bedroom set together before realizing that the foot-board was missing a hole needed for a screw. The tech who came out said he was going to report this to the store so that the store could send another technician in order to make a hole. He said this would happen within 24 hours. This was a lie! No one from the store called or came out. That evening I called to follow up with them they werent even aware of the issue. They said they would have to order the part but that it would take weeks for it to get there and that there was no option to have the part expedited. At this point I regretted doing any business with this store and wanted to return the bedroom set. They informed me that I would have to pay a $79 pick-up fee and a 10% restocking fee EVEN THOUGH I RECEIVED DEFECTIVE EQUIPMENT. Thats poor customer service. We would not have accepted the furniture had the technician that came to assemble the set explained this to my wife but apparently they werent native English speakers to begin with. This has been a terrible experience from the beginning. Avoid doing business with this store.
Buyers Beware! We had a good experience in the store and their furniture looks good however after 1 year (two adults using furniture, a couch, an ottoman and a 1.5 chair) the cushions have all lost shape, lost support and no longer look good. Now after 2 years the furniture is so uncomfortable we are looking for new stuff! For the cost of the furniture this is totally unacceptable. After calling for customer support and talking with them this is expected and not covered under warranty. Be careful to not be swept up in the positive reviews, they push people to review right after their purchase which doesnt allow for a true review of their products. Hope this helps someone reconsider. I never thought this furniture would be so disposable.
Never realized the huge selection Ashley has. We went in to just browse but decided to buy a beautful sectional. Our Home Furnishing Consultant helped us make our decision on what would work best in the room we descibed. Mary Ann Stein was superb to work with. She explained to us about the 48 month 0% interest financing promo and a great protection plan to insure our investment. Would recommend Ashley and ask for Mary Ann for great customer service. Going back soon for a mattress.
I bought furniture over two months ago that still has not been delivered. They had no problem taking my $11,000 for it, but cant give me a date when it will actually get to my house. I have no master bed in my master bedroom so Ive been sleeping in a guest bedroom for two months. I would NEVER buy another piece of furniture from Ashley even if it was $1 based solely on the fact that its a nightmare to get it delivered. Their customer service also is not helpful at all and just apologizes for the delay but cant do anything to fix the situation.
We visited our Ashley store in Amherst, NY and were greeted by Burt Fatta. Very friendly and knowledgeable as he directed us to sofas and love seats that we were interested in. He also showed us a different set which we purchased. He went above and beyond to get us the set for our basement room. He is definitely as asset at Ashley furniture, I know we will be back and recommend him highly.Thank you Burt!
Customer service is absolutely terrible I placed an online order for chairs which I did receive fast and I do like the chairs.But I have a problem with them putting furniture protection plan on my bill I have literally been calling over a week each and Everytime you are on hold forever and after about 20 minutes they automatically put you to voicemail saying they will return your call 48 to 92 hours I still have no call back so I tried to message online with no luck. This is the worse customer service I ever received I will never ever place another order... Once these chairs are paid off in done
“James Hammertime did fantastically!”That’s what I wrote while signing the sales order......Well that’s where our good experience turned sour. The day after our purchase we got a call saying that some of our furniture was back ordered and we were offered $100 to spend in the store. We asked for a partial delivery of the furniture that was available and two days later we got a call to schedule that delivery - only I was told it was the entire order. Three days before our delivery I got a call saying that the manufacturer is waiting on the material to make our furniture and that it’ll be another 6 weeks!!!! So either I’m being lied to or they are incompetent. Either one is unacceptable. I texted our sales rep 24 hrs ago and haven’t received a response. BEWARE unless you don’t mind waiting at least 10 weeks for furniture. 3 days or less is sounding pretty good to me.
We had a wonderful experience shopping at Ashley on Alberta Drive because of our Sales Associate, Nasheyah D. She was knowledgeable, very friendly, and did not pressure us in any way. We look forward to receiving our furniture and hope that the delivery experience goes as well as the sales experience.
Was looking for certain pieces to help furnish our new apartment and had come in the store with a few ideas and thanks to Barbara we were able to find the perfect tables and desk. We were greeted by a very pleasant and knowledgeable sales consultant Ms. MaryAnn Stein, who helped us through the process of replacing our old Ethan Allen office suite with new Ashley furniture. Furthermore, she introduced us to Pat McCarthy, the manager on duty who reviewed our order assuring us the best pricing currently available. Finally, they both explained the benefits of adding the Protection Plan which insures the product and offers a return of premium as a gift card if the protection is unused. We arranged our delivery, were contacted prior to and the furniture arrived as planned. It looks beautiful and if the quality is as good as the service we received we will be return customers and also be sure to refer others. Thank you.
Good selection, very helpful staff. We ordered a dining set and have to wait 3 weeks for it though. They dont stock any of the big stuff and it all has a wait of 2-3 weeks which is absurd. Amazon prime has 2 (sometimes ONE) day shipping just saying.Also we saved around $600 by having them match the online price. Check their website before you pay the store price.
I am in to Ashley Furniture not knowing much about it, Keith Barrett was my salesperson. He explained all the products in detail and I was happy to learn of the low prices Ashley offers. I was able to buy not only a dining room set but a sever as well. I will be back to buy living room furniture as well.
It was a good sale. I cant wait to see it in my apartment. The couch I purchased. It is. New to me , my first new couch. The home furnishings consultant Howard Smallen was very nice to me and patient. Overall it was a good experience and I know I will be pleased with my decision.
I bought furniture loveseat and couch reclining., and a chair. I had to wait 3weeks for it to come in. The chair came in the wrong color. I immediately called and told them of the problem. I was told they would get back to me... no one did. I called and told the asst. Manager Jennifer would call me back shortly. Instead she passed the call off to customer service. I was told I would have to wake another 3 weeks for the replacement. I spent over $ 2300.00 and I felt I at least deserved a call back from a manager like I asked. I would not recommend this company at all. Go on line and order the same items for less. At least if you have a problem it wouldnt cost you as much.
I ordered a table set from them its been months the first time they called me and scheduled a delivery then called me on delivery date and told me the shipment was damaged they would have to wait for a new one they have no idea where my table is !!! I called to cancel because they dont know anything and its been too long and they have a 12 percent cancellation fee that I was not aware of or told about over the phone when I made the order big headache do not purchase unless they have at there warehouse I feel ripped off
When you walk in prepare to be tagged and flagged and be questioned every 5 minutes or so. The concept of looking around and getting an idea on things is almost an inconvenience for the employees and they stalk as if they wont eat dinner that night if they give you more than a couple minutes to look at one thing. Ive never found their quality deserving of the prices they put on most furniture.

I ordered a bedroom set from Ashley. The gentlemen who delivered it were right on time, very personable and worked quickly and efficiently to put the bed frame together and the mirror on the dresser. Everything was placed in my bedroom in perfect shape, no scratches, dings etc. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
I stopped in the store with my mom one Saturday evening specifically looking for lamps and file cabinets. My sales associate was Maryann Stein who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She answered our multitude of questions in a very professional and patient manner. She provided us a crazy good experience and I am sure I will be visiting the store again!

My wife and I came into Ashleys on Presidents Day looking for a new Mattress. We have gone through shopping for a Mattress many times. When we walked in the store we were greeted by Ben Randles with a nice hello and smile. We explained to Ben exactly what we wanted and Ben was very accommodating and really listened to us about our needs. Long story short we purchased a mattress and Ben made our experience enjoyable and stress free. Thanks again Ben!.
NEVER AGAIN and BUYER BEWARE!!! Everything that occurred after the sale was a huge inconvenience and major dissapointment! First, I experienced delivery delays from their manufacturing facility, which caused split shipments of my furniture. Second, I was supposed to receive a 30 minutes notice before each furniture delivery, but in both instances the truck showed up in less than 10 minutes, causing a frantic scramble to prepare to receive the delivery. Third, The couch, loveseat, and recliner were delivered with an overpowering chemical odor that did not dissipate, even after sitting for over a week with the cushions off. It was so strong that it caused breathing issues for me if I was in the same room. At this point I would have walked away and asked for a refund but my old furniture was already gone, so what could I do? Fourth, the only acceptable option presented was to exchange my new chemical problem furniture with similar showroom display pieces that didnt have that same issue. Unfortunately, this required me to travel 30 minutes away to see and approve this option. Fifth, the display recliner that was delivered had a small tear in the fabric at the bottom, which I called to have addressed. I never received a call back to resolve this issue. Lastly, to top off this nightmare 1st purchase from Ashley Furniture, the financed payment amount on my first bill was not the same as the calculated amount from the sales agreement. Once again, I called to resolve this last issue and never received a call back this time as well.In conclusion, I will state that I was given a $100 gift card towards a future purchase for the split shipping delay. However, when I take into account the multiple other quality and service issues that occurred with this purchase and then consider the ridiculous number of hours I had to spend attempting to resolve them, a $100 gift card TOWARDS A FUTURE PURCHASE just feels beyond insulting.

We bought a power recliner for a elderly family member and after a few days it was apparent they could not use it safely. I called the store and was told it would take 7 to 10 days for an exchange delivery. Because of circumstances we had to have an immediate replacement. I spoke with John and he made it happen! I worked with him and Kate, who spent alot of time with us, and had a new recliner by the end of the day!! I am so impressed with how they went out of their way to help us!! Go literally ANYWHERE else. Raymour and Flannigan, Ridgehome Furnishings, city mattress. Hell, you may have better luck using Facebook Marketplace or Letgo.I have never had such an awful experience dealing with with any company before. Their customer service is far and away the worst Ive ever dealt with and its not worth the headache youll have to put up with.Do not waste your time here. Also, most people dont know that a majority of other furniture companies actually get their product from Ashley Furniture. Which means even if you find something you like from Ashleys, you can probably get it from somewhere else anyway. You might be able to get it cheaper too.I bought a coffee table from Ashleys in December. 6 months and 5 damaged coffee tables later I finally got them to approve a return (that was 3 weeks ago though and I still havent gotten my money back). Last week I went to Raymour and Flannigan and found the same exact coffee table there for over $100 less.I ended up buying a different coffee table because I didnt want to chance another defective one. The one I ended up settling on was also available at both Ashleys and Raymour and Flannigan except it was much cheaper at Raymour and Flannigan. I also received the item in 2 days, unlike Ashleys ridiculous 6 week delivery wait time.For anyone who cares to read the full story I bought a lifttop coffee table in early December 2018 and was told 6 week delivery/pickup. It arrived damaged. The wood was cracked. Customer Service said they cant replace it until they tried to fix it first. I told them its brand new and I dont want it fixed, I just want a new one. There was nothing to be done anyway since the wood was literally cracked. After multiple phone calls of 40+ minutes they finally agreed to replace it. 6 weeks later I receive the new one, which is also broken. The lift mechanism was stripped out of the frame, which made the lifttop unusable. After a phone call with customer service they said they would order a new lift top and lift mechanism and it would arrive in 3 weeks. Once I received it I was to call back and schedule a time for a tech to come out and repair it.3 weeks later I received a package in the mail consisting of two 1inch springs. I called customer service asking where the rest was and they told me that it wasnt ordered. So I ordered the rest of the pieces and was told rush/overnight delivery was impossible because the company doesnt do that. 4 weeks go by and I still havent received anything. I call customer service and they tell me that the pieces are on back order and I wont get them for another couple months. After a very long and aggravating phone call with Ashleys worthless customer service reps, they finally agreed to just order a new table all together, which I would receive in 6 weeks.Fast forward 6 weeks. It is the day I am expecting a phone to schedule the delivery time. I get a call from Ashley saying that the table arrived to their warehouse damaged and that they will be ordering another one for me.Fast forward another couple of weeks and the SAME thing happened again. They called me and told me it arrived damaged. I said I dont even want it at this point because it shouldnt be that difficult to sell a not broken and working product. Especially one that was $500+. They said the best they could do is give me a credit of 10% which amounted to basically nothing. After another very aggravating conversation I finally was able to get the customer service rep to understand that this entire situation was ridiculous and to give me a full refund and to come pick up the table still in my living room. They picked up the table weeks ago, however I still havent seen a refund from them.Shop at your own risk. Go somewhere else.
Fantastic! Couldnt ask for more! Quality furniture at a reasonable price. From the moment we entered the store it was a wonderful experience. The entire staff was great! Made sure we got all of the sales we were eligible for, everyones attitude pleasant, helpful, concerned, and knowledgeable, delivery was easy and on time. Our salesperson was simply fantastic! Overall a great and positive experience from beginning to end.
They just eliminated all of their in-store customer service people?! What a stupid and selfish move by the company to try and save money. So good luck finding someone to fix your problem if you have one. Waited over an hour on the phone to their call center after my delivery was rescheduled after I had already gotten the morning off work. The sales people do a good job, but obviously they’re on commission and aren’t interested in helping once they make a sale, and they laid off their customer service folks. Never again!!!
We recently purchased a new home. Joe was our salesperson. Not only did he find us a great bedroom, but took the time to find us a great tempupedic mattress as well!! He was always there when we had questions, and we never felt pressured (unlike other experiences). My wife found Joe and Ashley furniture delightful.
I went into ashley furniture multiple times to choose my furniture. My sales rep was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, however when the furniture was delivered I was told the wrong piece was ordered so my sectional is now missing a piece. After waiting a month for the inital delivery I was told at first August 9th for the missing piece. I called several times trying to figure out my options and if it could be any sooner. The piece is now being delivered in 2 weeks. I was offered compensation but I had to bring it up several times after the initial call (since she never called me back). I was offered $50 after being told the delivery fee would be waived. Overall has been a headache since delivery!
First experience shopping at Ashley. Worked with Lindsay Miller and she was a sweetheart. She didnt hover and yet she spent nearly 2 hours working with us and helped us find exactly what we were looking for (living room couch, loveseat, recliner, end tables, cocktail table, and curio). She answered all questions, explained in detail differences in products, moved furniture around for us so we could see how the powered furniture worked, and she even brought pieces to other areas as we mixed and matched furniture items. She explained store promotions, financing options, and price matched all items online to ensure we were getting the best deal. It was a super experience and by far the best Ive everr had in a furniture store. If youre looking for something at Ashley on the Boulevard make sure you ask for Lindsay. Shes the best!
The employees at the retail store were wonderful. BUT.... after I ordered my furniture and patiently waited 6 weeks for my delivery 2 days before the scheduled delivery I received a call that all my pieces were not in and they would have to reschedule. Ok, no big deal I rescheduled. The scheduling department called me the day before my scheduled delivery to give me my 4 hour window and at that point I had to reschedule my delivery becasue I ended up having to work the day of delivery. No big deal! Delivery was supposed to be this Wednesday. They called my Friday to tell me that my furniture is not in! Excuse me what?!?! Two weeks ago it was!!! How is it not there now?!?! Now they want to push my delivery out until July. Its already been 9 weeks! How is it that 2 weeks ago I had a delivery date and time and all of a sudden my furniture is not available?!?! I ended up canceling the entire order!! I will never shop there again!!!!!!
Very poor service we got a couch from them was nice for the first month then it broke when they delivered it it was messed up sent a few parts told us to fix it we paid for the warranty and got nothing but a run around told to call the store called the store they told us to call the warranty department they said call the store after we paid for the warranty they said nothing is covered under the warranty just a scam at this point and waste of money and time this is the Amherst ny location by the way and the couch is a sectional couch and was $4600 plus $500 warranty complete waste of money couch is made out of cheap compressed wood never ever spend money with them at all
Was in your store last Saturday. The atmosphere is very cozy and your associate Maryann Stein was awesome!! We had no idea what we were looking for and she gave us so many options. We will defiantly be back to make a purchase. Maryann is a great asset to your company and more sales people should be like her
They have great prices and the sales team makes the deal quick but it ends there. Do not buy that garbage warranty because the customer service to get anything done is an impossible nightmare. No one knows the protocol and they keep saying they are sorry but nothing is fixed MONTHS after calling. 2 no shows for service and another guy who didnt read the memo about how to order parts. Do not go there, go ANYWHERE else. I bought a dining table and 8 chairs and 2 barstools that were broken within a month! Garbage. Look at other honest reviews...Burt has a large family (lots of specific compliments).
I purchased a dining room table and was given a special offer of a $150 gift card. I was not told at the store that this gift card could not be used for online purchases which is what I planned to do. Fast forward...I went into the store looking for an area rug to purchase with this gift card and received terrible service. Whoever was helping me walked up and asked if I needed help. I said, yes and he walked away talking to someone else on his head set. He finally came back to me and was of literally no help. He couldnt tell me how I could search for an area rug by size, he said I just had to look at the patterns I like and see if it came in the size I wanted....no prices were shown on their touch screen product finder. I asked if there was any easier way to find what I was looking for and he just stared at me with no response. I can only assume they work off commission and he wasnt interested in helping someone buy a $150 rug with a gift card. I dont even want the gift card anymore if it means I have to go back in that store to use it.
Unfortunately this review requires me to add at-least one star.So here’s the deal..my wife and I purchased our furniture from Ashley Furniture around 8 months ago in 2018.We purchased the couch with the extended protection plan. (NEVER DO THAT). Our couch has been broken since March 2019. Today is June 2nd, 2019. Absolutely ridiculous.We have spoken with multiple customer service reps who have not been able to help. Ashley Furniture outsources repair issues to a company called Tri County Furniture Service. They also have been useless. After several attempts at getting a tech out to the house with no luck, we had to stop into the store to speak to a manager. He was very nice and said he would note the system and have Tri County call us.(Note the system is their go to line when they don’t know what to tell you)We finally had someone from Tri County stop by to look at the couch. The tech determined there was nothing he could do and said he would note his system to have someone call us. The tech stated the tension on the couch was shot and that he would not be able to repair in our house. To show how reliable they are, the tech forgot to add the second bolt to one of the legs and now our couch is becoming more damaged. So damaged that we don’t even sit on it anymore.I’m writing this because I want nobody to experience the HORRIBLE service we have experienced. It’s literally been a nightmare. Be careful with the store and the “protection plans”.
While I was in Wegmans my husband decided to pop in to Ashleys and look around. The salesperson helping him (Nashgyah) clearly knows her stuff because on this impromptu visit we ended up purchasing to bedroom sets and a buffet . Nashgyah went above and beyond to make sure we received the best price and she was very friendly with us and our children. Outside from my mind being on the ice cream (just purchased) melting in the car I had a very pleasant experience at Ashley again.
Frustrating experience. I walked into the store today expecting a price match to their own website and was refused with an explanation on how the store pays the bank the interest charges, and because I financed a longer term that I wasn’t entitled to any discounts.... which is fine however do not expect “0%” on your purchase.... you are paying your interest up front on behalf of the store. Also, expect the bank to charge any additional penalties to you directly during the course of the loan.Also, the “military discount” that I received wasn’t real and barely got me down to the MSRP prices of THEIR OWN WEBSITE.Again, no help from Ashley furniture management here.Lesson learned.
We were helped by Pat, the sales manager, yesterday on buying a couch. He was so helpful in picking out one that would fit in our living room! We havent received the couch yet as they are all built to order and we need to wait 2-4 weeks, but we fell in love with the one in store and couldnt be happier!
Everything went well Im store the sales lady linda was extremely nice and non pushy just wonderful. we choose to order with her instead of another store because they work on commisson. Then delivery. We waited over 2 weeks for our mattress which is fine, set up the time 3-4 hr time frame and they didnt come. We called they said they did come and had timed stamped photo of the house with no car in the driveway. Only after we threatened the rude customer service girl with video surveillance did her tune change. She offered money off the mattress and free redelivery and in store credit. We cancelled and will give our business elsewhere. I could understand if there is miscommunication but to be plain lied to and her to get petty saying they had photos which clearly must be off Google because we were home. What a horrible company to have to work with. The store front is just for show, literally. They dont handle any problems and cannot give you money back you have to call a number to a batavia location where the warehouse is located. Such a hassle calling people not in the area have to be on hold ect to try and get answers. I dont usually right reviews but this needed to be said. We did get our money back in full though but will never go back.
We purchased the “Peace of Mind Warranty”, which supposedly which is an accidental warranty, for 5 years. We were told initially that the puncture wounds were covered under the warranty. However after speaking with the third party owner of the warranty, the material for the sofa was discountinued after 2 years so they could not guarantee that the cushions would match, but were willing to send them to me. After officially submitting a claim, which nullified the money of the warranty for future purchases, I received an email stating that pets do not count as an accident, only bodily fluids. This warranty is a waste of money, don’t buy it. It doesn’t give you Peace of Mind.
The absolute worst buying experience I have ever dealt with their customer service is a joke when scheduled for delivery the drivers never even came to my door after waiting two weeks for my furniture, they said the drivers continued onto other deliveries and would unable to deliver today I would have to wait another two weeks. Called customer service approximately 15 times told me they were trying to contact the driver and never called him back. On top of all this they had the audacity to charge me $300 for delivery this company is a joke save your time save your money and go elsewhere.
Rude Staff- We were patrons of Ashley furniture for about 5 years till today. We went in to go look for something for our empty guest room. We were thinking a futon, sofa sleeper or possibly a whole bedroom set. Our minds were open. We went in around 12:30 on 8/17. The lady sitting at the front asked if we needed help. I told her we were looking for a futon and she said they didnt carry any, ok fine. Then I said how about a sofa sleeper, her reply was well those are more expensive than futons puzzled and also dumbfounded i replied well yes that makes sense im aware, we stary walking into the store and we find out delivery of anything even before looking at anything wouldnt be available in 2 weeks. Which really puzzled us as we were long time Ashley customers. So we said ok well than that doesnt work for us. This ladys attitude from the beginning was very snooty. She then as we nicely walk out she recommends we go to Big Lots as they have many nice & fairly priced pieces. First off- do not judge me off the bat lady. My combined household income of my husband and I is over 125K annually. No sh*t a sofa sleeper cost more, I wasnt born yesterday. Had this lady had no attitude we wouldve been interested in looking at bedroom sets & spend $2K on a new bedroom set happily. Instead we spent it at Raymour & Flanigans today & now will never patron an Ashley furniture store ever again. New Raymour & Flanigan customers.
Terrible store! Many people told us, and then we found out it was true that they never deliver when they claim they will. In our case it was weeks after the promised date. In return, we thought it was very nice of them to offer either a $100 price reduction or a $200 CASH card to us. Needing a dining set we took the CASH card. When we went to use it we found out it was only good on full priced items, not sale items. STAY AWAY, YOU WILL BE SORRY!!
The furniture is nice, the sales people are nice. The problem is the way the company handles their mistakes. We were looking for some new furniture and happened to just purchase a new large couch at another store. One that could replace all of the separate pieces of furniture in our living room.We didnt totally love it though. And then we saw a perfect couch at Ashley. The store, matched the price of the couch we had just purchased at another store, so we cancelled that order and went with Ashley. It really started out as a great experience. But immediately after that, everything went way down hill very quickly. The other store would have been able to deliver our new couch in 3 days, in the morning which is the only time we can easily be available. Ashley could do no better than 3 weeks, and could not do mornings. Looking back that was the first clue that we were going to have a bad experience overall. NEXT. The day our delivery was scheduled, we donated all of our living room furniture to Fishers of Men Outreach Ministry - a local ministry that provides safe houses for homeless people, so that there would be room for the new stuff. Ashley showed up and they brought the WRONG couch! So we then ended up with absolutely no furniture to sit on. To make matters worse, It just so happened that I was just released from the hospital after a few days stay due to emergency surgery. My gallbladder totally ruptured and I had severe pneumonia. I have 5 incisions and constant intense pain. Needless to say, I was supposed to be able to rest... WITH NO FURNITURE! So I have been walking around my house day and night, consumed by pain. So I called the store and explained the issues and the best that they could do is order the right couch, but we would then have to wait for another 3 week delivery! I asked if they could give us a loaner couch until the new one comes. They promised that everyone from the general manager on was informed and would get back to us with a solution and expedited delivery. Nobody did any of that. In fact no one even called. I even went to the store in person to deal with it and still got no where. And now it has been over a week without furniture (while recovering from surgery) and our delivery date is scheduled for still 2 weeks out. No expedited delivery at all. Further when I spoke with the delivery scheduler who was supposed to be informed...she literally knew nothing about any of this. The best they could do was eliminate the $130 delivery fee and give us a $100 gift card...as if we want to make another purchase after this. The sales person even said that they already did enough for us by matching the price of the couch in the first place! ARE YOU SERIOUS? Everyone knows how much stores mark up the cost of furniture! Anyone knows that matching a price is not a big deal. I was beyond offended. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER WITH A FURNITURE COMPANY. They made a huge mistake and have done nothing to fix it. I have half a mind to sue them for the stress and suffering while I dealing with this, instead of just being able to recovery from my surgery. (addition to my review) I did speak to the general manager of the store. He did do his best to try and understand. He was able to move the delivery date 3 days sooner. I appreciate his personal effort to make it right, realizing that he too was trapped by the lack of corporate policy to make things right when their company makes such huge mistakes. He apologized sincerely and I could hear in his voice that he really did mean it. No that doesnt fix the situation, but it is meaningful to see human beings try to do the right thing and stand up for others against bad corporate policy even when they can only have a very little effect. SO 1/17/18 this is an update to my previous review.... By the time the second couch came...it too was the WRONG couch! However, they did agree to let us barrow the wrong couch, since it was already at our house, until they could deliver the right couch for a third try. Third try - right couch.
Once they scan your credit card the customer service stops. Waited over a month for a dining set to be delivered. It was delivered broken. Waited another month for the new set to replace it, and the day before delivery date they cancelled on me for their mistakes. Now I have to wait ANOTHER month for broken items to be removed from my house. Save the headaches, shop somewhere else.

2022-02-09Bought a sectional through Ashley 3 years ago. It was creaky, but this is supposed to be normal. 3 years later, the back supports break in two places from two adults sitting normally on it.This is garbage, and so is their warranty coverage on furniture. A couch should last almost 10 years, and now we have to fix it ourselves after wasting 2 hours on the phone. The representatives continuously sent us around to different departments that couldnt help us and hung up on us repeatedly.I will never buy another item from your company, and I will tell everyone I know why.

2022-05-13The worst customer service in the industry. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Beginning with walking in the store and a grown man (salesman) yelling “HEY!” Across the room at me because I was browsing independently. Fast forward I purchased a sectional, used it alone (140lbs) and the frame broke. The sales person advertised one warranty and sold me another that didn’t cover the frame. Went round and round forever with them, they sent out a repair person as a “courtesy” who didn’t fix it. When I called back they told me they already sent someone so they weren’t helping anymore.Do not shop here. Save your money. The practices are misleading, quality is below poor and your sanity is worth more than whatever they offer you

2022-05-19We had an excellent experience working with Nasheyah Dubaishi. She spent time discussing our options for furniture. She compared prices for us and got us the best deal. She also ensured to provide us with the best offers whether online or in store. She went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable with all the options we were looking for. She was not pushy and gave us space when we needed it. I would highly recommend speaking with her when you enter the store.

2021-10-05My wife reviewed 8 local furniture stores, to compare price to quality. Ashley Furniture came out Tops in selection, build quality, comfort, appearance, and price. 5 stars for a 5 out of 5 win. Our salesman, Chuck, managed to get us better pricing on the Bladen set than was advertised or online. If I were trying to have an issue, it would be the delivery being a bit long. I did purchase after a sale had depleted their stock, so I understand that quality is worth waiting for. I absolutely recommend Ashley (and specifically Chuck) for any future furniture purchase. Sofa, sofa bed, and 2 recliners in Coffee.Update: got the extended Ultra warranty.One of the recliner chairs caved in two inches on the left hand side of the seat. The warranty company refused to repair the chair. It took two weeks, multiple phone calls, and guilting the Ashley service/parts with the threat of altering this review, before they would send a replacement part. Installation of the part would be a paid service (unknown by them of estimated amount, but 75.00 per hour, plus travel) for a warranty repair.No longer happy.

2022-05-24Terrible. Never again. My daughter ordered ALOT of furniture. Ashley got the financing messed up so they canceled the furniture . But they sure took the money. Took 5 MONTHS for everything to trickle in. Then when they set up delivery, if you’re not there when THEY want to deliver, they tell you you loose out. And they’ll be back in 4-5 months with your table. Unreal!! I don’t understand why anyone would spend their hard earned money with this type of service. Be aware of this if you do!

2022-03-04Ashley Furniture has one of the poorest customer service that I have ever delt with.. We paid for delivery with setup . Delivery truck arrived ,The workers Who were delivering the bed and supposed to put it together were unable to put it together because they didnt know how. I the customer, had to then put my own beds together along with fixing broken parts on the bed to get it to work. The delivery people then proceeded while bringing the furniture in to track mud through my halls up my stairs and onto a one week old brand new carpet. When we called customer service to have the situation dealt with they told us they would refund the delivery and set up the and referred me to a 3rd party to have my rugs cleaned never at any time did Ashley compensate me for the catastrophe caused by the delivery people whiich was a 3 hour period of my life I will never get back On top of the fact that we now have to make an appointment to have our rugs cleaned and deal with a 3rd party. Ashley corporate office customer service declined to do anything other than that giving us 0 compensation Needless to say I will not purchase furniture from Ashley again the poor customer service is an indication of how this company treats its people this is not the 1st review I have read on this So in closing I say buyer beware Because they sure do talk to you nice in the show room they sure do promise you a lot of things like to rectify a situation and never do. And just another note the furniture we bought has to be the cheapest made furniture I have ever had to put together so buyer beware

2022-06-25I was looking for a bed I went to Ashleys before buying I asked what the return policy was and I was told that they would return it if there was a problem. After getting the bed there was a problem and they would not return the bed even though I did not want my money back I just want to get a bed that was not defective. They still will not return the bed even though I was told they would. Ive been dealing with them for over 20 years I will never buy anything from them again horrible customer service horrible place to do business!!! Ashleys reply to this review was to give me two numbers 300-8020 end 296-4334 both numbers were useless busy 24 hours a day so in essence I did nothing and Im not willing to work with me and I am saving now to buy a new bed after buying a new bed in February 2022 it cost me $1300 and I have to save the buy a new bed and I dont know where Im gonna get the money from but my back is killing me Ashleys is not a good place to do business they have gone downhill take your business to Raymour and Flanigan or subway sales that does good business not bad business!!!! They also changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars now I will give them no stars and they will probably give themselves 5 stars. Ashleys was once a good store they have gone way downhill do not buy from them!!!!

2022-04-26Update.They have done this to me TWICE.They didnt tell me until the day my sofa was suppose to be delivered that it came In damaged and had to order another one. Which could take weeks if not months. Had already thrown away my old one 2 days before for the new one. So now Im couchless for who knows how long.

2022-06-16Alot of furniture on display but it all looked alike. Have to walk the whole store to see all the bedroom furniture. They do not segregate by room. Very annoying. Tony, who greeted us was great.

2022-03-12I received a broken bed upon delivery. I have been waiting 7 months for the parts to come in, and continue to sleep on a broken bed. I also paid for an additional “protection plan.” I’ve asked for the bed to be temporarily serviced while we wait for the parts, and was told that they will not do anything until the new parts come in. I was originally told it would be 4 weeks for new parts. Here we are 7 months later…
