Spoke with Kendra at the Amsterdam store over the phone and ordered a couch!!! She was extremely kind and helpful! Good customer service and nice people.

Have always appreciated the excellent quality of Ashley furniture. It lasts for years. I foolishly purchased two reclining loveseats from Bobs Furniture last year as they had the style I wanted in stock.. HUGE mistake. Every time I recline screws and pins fall out. After three visits, they are still not fixed and have not heard from Bobs. I will not make that mistake again! Ashley’s quality and customer service are top notch!
I rarely take the time to review companies/products but I had the WORST experience purchasing furniture from Ashley HomeStore. I ordered a sectional in January - the configuration was supposed to have matched the one in the store exactly but the incorrect configuration was ordered and delivered 6 weeks later. It took another 4 weeks to get the correct configuration! When the new pieces came they did not fit together with the pieces we had (see image). It seemed to be the new piece that was misaligned. It took another 4 weeks to get a replacement for the new piece. It was now April before we had a sectional that fit together properly and in the right configuration! The ottoman came separately with ripped instructions, saw dust covered feet, and corners with lots of loose threads (see image). The store had terrible customer service when it came to resolving our issues. Very unsatisfied with our purchase and experience with this store - will not make the mistake of ordering from them again!
Jamey was so helpful and made our shopping experience so pleasant. All of the other stores we visited the orders were taking 9-12 months. Ashley furniture is just a week out! We cant wait to have our new furniture delivered! Fabulous experience!

I went to the store in amsterdam NY and I had THE BEST EXPERIENCE HANDS DOWN. I WORKED WITH THE STORE MANAGER, she was bright and super helpful. Her attitude was great. My toddler would also agree with how amazing she is, he hasnt let go of his Ashley Blue Balloon!! Thank you and if I were richer Id buy everything from them.
In a time of need we went in search of a couch that was super comfortable and power. Due to a car accident putting my husband in discomfort for months to come, our need was great. They helped us search through and try out couches and recliners. Found a very nice couch that they ordered right away trying to get it before his return home. Very helpful and understanding of our needs, made the experience a good, no stress time.Thank you!
Fantastic customer service! We ordered a couch, coffee table and end table, which were supposed to arrive at their store in 4 weeks, but were back-ordered for months. Joanne and her team were incredible, with follow-up to the manufacturer and responsiveness to me, and ultimately found a way to get us our furniture in the time frame we needed it. We are grateful for the way they handled this situation, and would highly recommend this store.

Twin bunk beds with a big storage drawer and 2 mattresses for $800.00. Thats a great deal. The employees were very helpful and friendly. Plus my kids are very happy with their new room.

I went into Ashley ro buy all new living room furniture for the first time ! I was directed to a specialist by the bake of Jeremy Simonds. He was kind courteous and so knowledgable. He was patient and made suggestions without imposing on your own ideas. What an asser to this company!Went in to buy my first kitchen set and was met by such a great rep kind friendly and so knowledgeable. Her name was Gabriella Gomez.. what a nice experience.
Jacqueline at the Amsterdam store was such a sweetheart. She was very efficient and made my purchase a breeze. She has followed up with me when she has found out new information on delivery, which is nice. Only negative is shipping for my specific item is a bit of a wait.

Well, I thought I ordered the right chair online but didnt. This franchise is privately owned by Rubi and Quiri. Their normal policy is no exchanges if purchased online, but the manager went out of her way, called up her bosses, and was able to offer me an exchange for the right model chair I wanted as long as I paid for the price difference. Which I thought was out of their way and completely unexpected. I was amazed by the managers quality of care she delivered to me, and how polite she was to me every time we spoke. I highly recommend this business
I had something in mind when I entered the store and within a short period of time found an item that I bought. The sales rep carried it out and we put it in my car. I will visit them again.

Ascsoon as we entered the front door,I was assigned a personal assistant to show our family around the showroom. Her name was Jacqueline Gerena. She was very helpful, informative and friendly. She didnt mind restating the prices and brand names with me, and was very patient with me, as I was writing everything down. She enjoyed our family. She answered every question. She stayed with us for as long as it took, without pressuring us.In the end she seemed intuitive to know we were not the rich type and would be better off staying within our budget. She seemed to know what we wanted and was best for our pocket book. She seemed very tuned in to us personally, which surprised me. She let us make our own decision, as to what we wanted, finally, and was quick to finalize the sale.She personally ran around the store floor in seunarch of a clean lamp shade for a lamp we finally decided on.My husband and I enjoyed her very much.
Very good interaction. Jaqueline helped me. I called because I had bought a couch using the app. Then I decided I wanted the matching chair. I called and asked if there was a way to add the chair to my order. She wasn’t sure but checked with her manager. She was able to charge me for the chair and use the same delivery fee as the couch because it was all one order. I was very happy with this, because if I bought the chair on the app without calling, I would’ve incurred another delivery charge. She was more than willing to help out and I appreciate that. Their prices are fair and their help is great! Jeremy helped us out and even found us a size online that wasnt available in store or on the regular website. We were looking just for living room furniture and ended up finding stuff for a bedroom as well! Moving to a new home soon and will need to fill it up, so we will be back for sure!
Our experience at Ashley Furniture was amazing from start to finish. Their sales team and furniture selection paired with their great deals and price matching made our decision to go with Ashley an easy one. The staff at the show room was patient and accommodating throughout the entire process. They answered all of our questions and found us exactly what we were looking for.When we purchased our furniture, we hadn’t closed on our house yet. There were continuous obstacles and things that held us up for months. Ashley never pressured us to pick up our furniture or to give them a delivery date. Instead, they waited until we were ready and got us the next available date after our closing.When our furniture was delivered, the service was impeccable. They laid out a carpet outside of our door to make sure they had clean shoes every time they came in, they took their time assembling and setting everything up, they helped us situate our area rug under the couch, and they made sure we knew how our adjustable bed frame worked. Both of them were personable accommodating. When they realized an item was missing from the truck, they didn’t tell us we had to set up another delivery, nor did they make us wait for the item. Instead, another member of the Ashley team loaded it on their personal truck and drove it to my house immediately.I can’t say enough about the team at Ashley Furniture. I highly recommend them!!!!
I cant say enough about the service at Ashley Home Store. The sales people are so nice. They are also very patient and knowledgable. They had a huge amount of stoves to choose from right on the floor when 2 other places had next to nothing. The best thing is that instead of calling a giant company if there is a problem you can call them and they will send their own technician!!!!

We were greeted when we entered the store, but I was not looking forward to a pushy sales rep. Gabby came up and introduced herself but then let us wander and shop at our leisure. She answered questions as we had them and was extremely laid back. We came looking for one couch and walked away with a couch and a loveseat, mostly because we didnt feel pressured to purchase anything. The process was easy and efficient. The only thing I wasnt thrilled with is the turn around time for delivery (10-12 weeks) but I know that cant be helped.

Went in to just browse and thats what I told the guy as soon as we walked in. However it seemed that all the sales employees were slowly tailing us around the store.Im sure this approach is good for people who know exactly what theyre looking for and want to ask questions but for someone who is casually browsing and not purchasing right away - its fairly annoying.I just want to look at stoves, not have 4 different sales employees follow me around and keep asking if they can help me.
I recently made a purchase from this store and I was blown away on how courteous the staff were there and how nice the showroom was. The staff there really does go out their way to make sure the customer is 100% satisfied. They could plan on me being a customer of theirs for a very long time.

I wanted to order a table online for Cyber Monday but the item I wanted was out of stock. I used the website chat feature and was connected with a representative in the closest store to me. Kendra was great. She located the item and was able to help me order the item for future delivery. She sent me an email with a quote and responded quickly to my questions both in the chat forum and in email. She then sent me a secure link in a text to pay for the item. Easy peasy! I received both a confirmation through text and email. It was a great experience. Now just to wait for delivery.

My couch was delivered with obvious damage caused by shipping. Fabric was torn and rubbed through, seems were pulled, and torn.I was contacted by the local store, communicated through text messaging for all details and to send pics of the damage. They were very thorough to collect all needed info.Tim, a technician was sent to my home to make the repairs. He removed all the damaged pieces and replaced them. He worked quickly and was very efficient.I am very pleased with the customer service I received. Thank you for making this right. I love my new couch.

I was out with my toddler, and I felt no judgement as she (as toddlers do) gave every plate on the staged table a lemon from the bowl of fake lemons. After much searching, Ariel was able to help us purchase the perfect living room set! She couldnt have been more helpful. I purchased a dining set from Ashley Furniture and love it. I needed the table by Thanksgiving and although I felt I ordered it well in advance somehow it did not make it on the delivery truck. The store called me a week before Thanksgiving and asked if I wanted the floor model since they knew I needed it and I agreed. It was delivered the day before and it looked perfect, no scratches. The customer service was personal and considerate which I appreciated. The only (minor) complaint I might have is that normally floor models are discounted but I did not receive a discount. I am happy with the set however and it fits my kitchen beautifully.
From the first phone call everything has been wonderful with Ashley home store… Ariel helped us from the very first day and was amazing - right thru our final payment and delivery… I had to change delivery date due to new construction a few times and had a couple special requests, and they were wonderfully accommodating… The two delivery guys were very kind, very polite and did a great job, respectful of our home and carefully moved everything in without a problem! Would definitely recommend… And definitely plan to use again!!! Thankful for everyone at Ashley who helped us through the process!!
Gregg at Ashley was very helpful. We also were able to get the online price, which saved us money, and still allowed personal service and delivery set-up. it was as simple as looking up the item number online. We will definitely keep this store in mind when we need any furnishing.
Gregg and Cassie at the Amsterdam NY store were very helpful in helping us choose the furniture we needed. They were extremely patient and went above and beyond. On 3 different occasions they stayed back for over 30 min after the shop closed so that we had enough time to choose our furniture. They rearranged the furniture in the shop so that we had an idea how the final configuration looked.... Rick, the older gentleman who owns the store was also eager to help. He rearranged a relatively heavy cocktail table himself and didnt let my wife carry it. Overall, loved the whole experience.
My husband and I needed a new sofa so decided to check out Ashley s one day. We didnt really have a plan so we took a bit sitting in every sectional we saw. The associates were very friendly and not pushy. We dealt with Jeremy Simonds and he was great. He let us look around and would check in if he wanted to tell us something specific about a sectional we were looking at or to see if we had questions. It was a lot nicer than being followed around in a store like other furniture stores we have been to. He was very helpful and knowledgable. We havent received our sectional yet but selected to have it delivered. It was another nice surprise finding out they deliver on weekends since we work during the week.
Modifying my review based on a follow up conversation with Rick Ruby at Ashley in Amsterdam.In summary, I felt my experience at Ashley wasnt very positive, but after receiving a follow up call from Mr. Ruby I will be first to admit I may have jumped the gun on the judgement of their salesperson and had a bit of a misconception of my experience there. I appreciate Mr. Rubys follow up on the matter and will certainly visit their store in this location, and Johnstown, in the future!
The furniture is beautiful, and was assembled nicely except for two screw’a that weren’t screwed in (they must of forgotten to tighten them so my husband had to). Positive: The delivery men cleaned up packaging after themselves , Negative: it takes a few weeks to come and you have no choice but to have the $100 delivery and assembly fee. I feel their should be options for those who want to pick up and those who want delivery but no assembly . Over all nice employees and a good experience through out 😊 Thank you !
The service was very professional. Jeremy was not pushy at all he let us do all our sit tests at our pace. They unfortunately didnt make our favorite fabric in a sectional, but so goes shopping. Great place to buy a piece of furniture.
The service was good. I was planning on using my Ashley’s card however is was closed after I didn’t activate it. My husband has a card as wellHowever in spite of the fact that we faithfully pay the account on time, the limit was reduced on his account.

Ashley homestore is a great place to shop for furniture. We went in months ago before buying a house and picked stuff out. It took longer to buy the house but they remembered us after months! Spoke to the owner and he is also very nice. We will continue buying furniture from here! And the delivery team was also awesome.
Salesman Gregg Greenwood helped me find exactly what I wanted (new mattress). He didnt try the bait n switch or selling me overpriced add-ons. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. 2 days later the mattress was delivered 3 hours earlier than promised, and the delivery dude called to make sure I was home. Overall a surprisingly pleasant shopping experience. Great price, great staff, excellent service. If every business operated like these people, what a different world it would be.

The staff at this store makes it one of the best places to buy furniture. Despite of living in Niskayuna, I drive to Amsterdam to buy furniture from this store. I have been using Ashley’s furniture for 7-8 years; I am so glad Ashley now has a store in the Capital Region. Recently my 7-8 months old sofa set was having issues, but Cassandra addressed all the issues very patiently. She and other staff members are knowledgeable and mindful of customer needs. I’ll continue to recommend my friends and family members to this store for buying furniture.

Ordered new tables online Saturday early cyber Monday sale guaranteed delivery December 3rd. Delayed due to snow storm until Wednesday... okay no biggie. It now states on Ashley App it was delivered UPS has stated out for delivery no furniture and cannot get ahold of either companies. Not happy cancelling charges on my credit card.Thank you for the quick response. I called your store and they were helpful. Corporate was not. I will change my ratings for your store.

I was greeted by a nice customer service women when I first walked in the store . The showroom was perfectly set up and displayed nicely . I was assisted wonderfully and was matched with a table set I was looking for in my price range . I was told it would take 1-2 weeks for the table to arrive in the Johnstown store for me and they would call me when it did.I had received the call promptly and within the time frame given . When I arrived at the Johnstown store (Ruby & Quiri) I was directed back to the service center. There were numerous ladies sitting at the counter with no customers and no one offered me any help so I had to ask if someone could help me. I had paid my balance and then redirected back to the loading dock and a nice gentleman helped me and went back to get my order and loaded it into my vehicle.The stores are very clean and well displayed in the showrooms, I would do business with them again.
Warren was absolutely amazing! I called Monday morning in hopes to find appliances necessary to close on our home. With limited stock due to covid, i was really worried i wouldn’t be able to find anything in time. Warren walked me through all the appliances that he had in stock to work for our house. He took his time explaining the appliances and allowed me time to look them up while still on the phone. He continuously checked on the appliances to be sure they were still in stock so i didn’t miss out. He looked up ways for me to save money on the appliances and explained their warranty program, which we took advantage of. Appliances that I couldn’t get until October from other places, i was able to have by Thursday of the same week I made the phone call.Needless to say i strongly recommend ashley homestore and ask for Warren!
I was looking for a couch with a bed. So I went down to Ashley Furniture. The sales people were very professional and they were not pushy. They gave me a good price so I ended up buying a sectional . And the girls in the office were also very professional and courteous. I highly recommend them very good people and a good product
Great place to shop for furniture and the prices are reasonable. The sales people were very helpful, they even let me speak to their designer. Even though I didnt make a purchase I plan on returning to Ashley when I figure out what style I love the most.

Went to Ashley looking for a adjustable bed and mattress. I was warmly greeted by Tanya who was very helpful in helping me locate my comfort zones and pressure points. Unfortunately they did not have the mattress I was searching for but Tanya was able to locate information from a sister store. Thank you Tanya for all your friendly assistance
Just perfect start to finish. Sales person at store in Amsterdam was helpful, courteous and efficient. The warehouse was accommodating and the delivery set up guys were wonderful as well. The Somerford bedroom set is beyond expectations - gorgeous reclaimed pine really well put together completely upticked our master bedroom. Assuming the slats dont break and we wind up on the floor, really perfect!
Great customer service! They didn’t have the couch I was looking at because it had sold the day prior to me going into the store, they are currently trying to get another one back in the store just so I can sit on it and make sure it’s comfortable before buying! Highly recommend anyone go to Ashley home store in Amsterdam.

We went in looking for a recliner and a possible entertainment center found all the sales associates extremely knowledgeable and helpful very friendly place my only issue was to delivery time still think its longer than it needs to be but with covid I guess it is what it is the prices were very comparable to what we had been seeing and they had what we were looking for great experience overall

I love the quality of their furniture, store is very clean and as you walk in you get An awesome greeting. The price is somewhat high but that’s what you get with quality. I wish that they had an in home financing for people who doesn’t qualify for credit.

I have a living room set that was purchased at Ashley in Amsterdam NY 2 yrs ago. The recliner mechanism stopped working on couch a short while ago. Went into store to see about getting a new mechanism and they told me the web site wasnt working that day so they couldnt really look it up. I showed the worker which part needed to be replaced and she said they would give me a call tomorrow. Still havent heard from anyone and not sure if part will be covered under warranty, which broke under normal wear and tear. Hopefully I will hear from them soon and get issue resolved.

I went to the Amsterdam, NY Ashley Store to view a variety of furniture I had viewed online to see it in person. Upon entering I was greeted immediately & asked if I needed any assistance. I explained I would be ordering my furniture online through the website as we are moving out of state and would like our furniture to be delivered within a few days of moving in.The sales staff was extremely helpful despite my not placing an in store order, The Store Manager, Tekeilla Perpall actually walked with me to specific pieces to answer questions, discuss the specifications and highlights of each piece. I was completely amazed how knowledable Tekeilla was with the suspension system for the Sofa & Loveseat as well as the durability of the leather recliner and loveseat mechanisms. I wouldn’t hesistate to order directly from this location, they were AWESOME!!
Another of stock and nice wares however, color and fabric options are not readily available. Staff is excellent and we will be back for other products.
We shopped this past Tuesday for a loveseat that would coordinate and replace a loveseat that we purchased 2-3 years ago from Taft Furniture in Saratoga. That loveseat was part of a 3 piece set and was broken away from the frame. We managed to go into Ashley and be out with our loveseat in probably less than 1/2 hour. No pressure and a super easy check out. While the prior loveseat was an Ashley brand, and should definitely have lasted longer than 2-3 years I’m confident that this store would have made it right - unlike my prior experiences with Taft.

They provide you good customer service not very knowledge in their products and they will even come the surrounding stores with the product they have and they will match the price.
I enjoy that the salespeople do not bombard you at the door nor do they follow you around! Much more comfortable to shop like that than when you walk in a place and they try to start selling you immediately... Ill be back, whether to browse more or to finally make up my mind and buy!!
We were so glad that we saw the flyer in the my shopper one day Then my husband and I took a trip to Amsterdam to visit the store I was lucky enough to call and get Brooke on the phone and when I got to the store, asked for Brooke and she was very very helpful and so was tequila and even Evelyn when she reached out to me to update my receiptAnd making sure I had the right directions for the drivers for our delivery day today it was a wonderful experience we love the store we love the people and can’t wait to spread the word❤️

I walked into the store at 06:58pm which is exactly 2 minutes before closing and the staff was super friendly! They helped me find the desk I needed and helped me carry it to my car and I was out of there by 7:10pm. Super efficient and fast friendly service!

Sooooo, I was just in this store and left feeling really uneasy. My daughter and I entered the store looking for the furniture set that I had my heart set on and was hoping was still there. When we walked in, there were 3/4 people at the back desk area, in the middle of conversation, so of course no one said anything, I didnt think much of it. We stopped in front of the area where the t.v. was playing some sort of bloopers show on it, stood and watched for a minute or 2, still nothing. We started to head toward the back and a guy walked passed us and only spoke to us as he walked by as if it just hit him that he should speak. He said how are you ladies doing today? without stopping or even slowing down. Just thought he was in the middle of something, so didnt think much of that either. We eventually got to the couch that I was there to purchase....we sat for 5-10 minutes, with no interaction from anyone there! Others walked past us and this same guy who I watched walk back and forth near the area we were in, didnt say anything to else, but immediately helped another customer, who just walked back to that area. At this point I was upset, and no longer interested in giving them my money. We got up, started walking towards the desk, the 2/3 people that were sitting at the desk didnt say a word! Not ; did you find what you were looking for? Do you have any questions? Can I help you with anything? NOTHING! Not have a nice day, thank you for coming, NOTHING!! Terrible customer service. Hate to say what Im thinking, but how could I not think it was because we are black?? Its ok...I know not to enter their store ever again! Im sure they wouldnt care anyway!

2021-11-21My husband and I were searching for recliners. After visits to several area stores, the prices here were pretty comparable. We looked in another county and found the exact recliners at a lesser cost. We called back our customer service representative, Joanne, and she priced matched these chairs for us! Needless to say, it pays to shop locally and this puts money into our local economy helping our neighbors. Thank you Joanne and Ashley furniture store in Amsterdam for quality furniture and great prices and service. We will be back! P.S. I picked up my brand new recliner yesterday and my husbands should be here in the not too distant future.

2022-02-23Was looking for a couch for my new home so I checked out the website and found a beautiful couch that was at an amazing price so I decided to go to the store to see if I can see the color of it in person and I didn’t but I had an employee help me find the same color but different couch and purchased it! Employee was very friendly and helpful and I appreciated him! Love this store! Has such amazing modern furniture for great prices

2022-02-23Awesome store and helpful sales staff while in the store....after purchase and clarification of when to deliver, some furniture was on backorder and couldnt be delivered. What was available for delivery on the agreed date at purchase, no delivery date was listed. However, the delivery department was very helpful in getting a delivery set up for the following day. The available items were delivered and set up as promised. My distress is over the adjustable/massaging bed frame. It worked perfect for the first 36 hours....then, cappute.... nothing!!! In all fairness, a technician will be out tomorrow to either fix it or replace it. All of this within a weeks time. Pretty amazing for the store to move so quickly to resolve the issues!!! I will be a repeat customer! Great job Ashley Home Store

He was WONDERFUL to work with and really took the time to explain to me all of my options while giving me the time and room to make my own decision. I had gone to other furniture stores and decided not to buy from them due to the pressure of the sales associates. Kendra was also a delight to work with a check out, if you need furniture definitely go here!
