Buying a new mattress can be overwhelming. I was quickly put at ease, when dealing with Christian at Ashley Homestore. I have been putting off buying a mattress, for far too long.He took the time to not only explain the differences between each mattress, but to make sure I would get the best price available. I cant thank him enough for his guidance. I will definitely be shopping there again.
I visit and make purchases at this Ashley Homestore often...The entire staff here is welcoming and very helpful.Patrick Larrabee Home Furnishing Consultant has gone above and beyond to answer questions and makes checking out seamless...Revisited on 02/18/2019 was impressed to see the District Manager greeting customers at the front door and thanking them as they exited.Really shows how important customer service is at Ashley Homestore !!!Patrick again made the purchase seamless and the checkout staff is always smiling and helpful. You can literally go from there showroom to your living and dining room.... All the pieces you need are there, just follow their designers ideas.. ITS THAT SIMPLE !
I have, over the years had a good experience with Ashley. However, I recently purchased a new sectional sofa. At the time of purchase we were told that it would take 10-14 week for delivery. It took exactly 14 weeks. Ok. We knew that and decided it would be worth the wait. When the sofa arrived we discovered that it was ordered incorrectly. We ended up with two left end pieces and no right end piece. The delivery guys were very nice but couldn’t really tell us much. I called customer service and explained the situation to the representative. I was told that she would work on it and call me back the next day. When I did not hear from anyone I again called the customer service line only to find out that nothing had been done. Again the representative was very polite and we went through the whole thing again. By the end of the conversation I was told that it would be another 8-10 weeks to get the replacement. When I voiced my displeasure he told me they could offer me either $100 back or $150 store credit. I don’t usually make a big deal about this stuff, mistakes happen. In this case though I have to say I am not impressed by the service that I have received. It seems that I will not wait for around 6 months for a complete sofa that is paid for and Ashley’s solution is to give back $100? What a joke. Sadly, this may be the last purchase I make from Ashley.
This was our first time visiting in Ashley home furniture store and our sales person, Eric made this an easy and unforgettable experience. He was considerate of our need and helped us stay within our budget. He also had a great attitude and was very personable. We visited other furniture stores on the same say and if it weren’t for Eric we may not have made our purchase today. I can’t say enough about the service we received. In my opinion, he deserves a raise. Thank you, Eric!
We had bought furniture back in February we were told it would be in end of may beginning of June our furniture came a month early.. Johnny P. Was our salesman, he was very thorough and took his time while we were deciding on the furniture we chose. He was positive and a very nice gentleman.. My husband and I had already settled on furniture from another local store, but decided to check out Ashley in Horseheads for the heck of it.Upon entering the store, we were greeted by Johnny, who explained the current sale and offered to help with anything we needed.Johnny then left us to browse without hounding us.We actually found furniture of interest and requested to speak with Johnny.He was very personable and informative.Needless to say, we purchased from Ashley... because we liked the quality and price... and because of Johnnys great service and sales!Thanks Ashley HomeStore and thanks Johnny!!!
I purchased a mattress and was quoted a 2-4 week waiting period. The salesman assured me it would be closer to the 2 week mark given I was looking for a bed immediately. I waited 34 days before I had to call to see if they had my order, they confirmed they had it but werent making any calls yet. I expected a mattress like the one i seen on the sales floor but picked up a mattress in a box. I was highly unsatisfied with the service and purchase I experienced.
We just purchased a beautiful living room set, and with the help of Antoinette we had an absolutely amazing experience! I would highly recommend her for anything you have questions or needs with. She is such a wonderful sales lady and we will forever be shopping here now!
Really wouldve given negative stars if I could. I have previously gotten a sofa on a good deal from them 4 years ago. But this time when I ordered a sleeper in mid August, I was said that the order would be delivered in 6-8 weeks and till date it has been almost 4 months. They not only postponed the order, they didnt even follow up on that. I have called them 4 times already during this period where they put you on hold for minutes. One sales rep even hung up on me! Believe me I was talking very politely after all this wait! Even then they are saying that I will be getting my order in March next year!!! And when I canceled the order, the money is going to be returned in 7-10 business days when they immediately charged my card for the full amount when the order was placed. On top of that there is no compensation for the lost time when I couldve looked for deals during this sale season. I get that people are affected by this pandemic but Ashley is never getting any business from me.
Store and sales people were great, dont bother with extended warranty. Its like pulling teeth to get anybody on the phone or to return your call.Filed a online warranty claim on 2/24/21, requested a call back for 2/26/21.Contacted customer service on 3/1/21, was told they would contact me within 4-6 days of original request. It has now been over 2 weeks with no return call.
So impressed with this place. We have been there twice and worked with Tanya both times. She was incredibly patient and informative about everything we liked and recommended great pieces within our budget. Never once did we feel any pressure or persuasion which was important to us, as furniture is a big investment. Because we trusted her so much I contacted her a year later when were in the market for a new mattress. We found one that was on sale for the fourth of July and got an incredible deal. They are really stepping up with helping people during this time of hardship with COVID-19. We wont go anywhere else for our big furniture purchases!
A very special thank you to Seth and Johnny for helping my 87 year old father get the most beautiful and comfortable couch he has ever owned. The original couch we picked was on back order and they spent countless hours finding him a couch that was better than the one we picked and was delivered within one week. This is what I consider excellent customer service! Thank you again!!!
I purchased a new dining room table and chairs and server from Ashley Furniture a couple of months ago. I had a very good experience. The salesman Micah as very helpful. He was pleasant and professional. He helped me make a good decision. The sales manager Seth also was very helpful. He was also pleasant and courteous. The ladies at the credit counter were very nice also. they all made the process of purchasing this set quick and easy. The delivery experience was good too. the furniture delivery people were very nice. I did have a glitch with the delivery where the men were unable to put the table together because of a manufacturing error. They dealt with it quickly and smoothly. They took the table back to their warehouse and fixed the issue and redelivered it the next day..They were quick and efficient! I love the dining set it is very good quality and solid, just like the model on display. Overall the experience was positive and I will definitely be purchasing furniture there again!
I cant speak for all of Ashley Furniture but our experience with the store in Horseheads, NY was positive, in particular because of Ryan, one of the floor associates. He was very helpful, knowledge, friendly, but not pushy. My wife and I appreciated that. We didnt feel pressured.
I called the store and spoke to Johnny. I wanted to order a dining set over the phone but I live in an area with spotty service. Johnny was awesome and let me text with him instead. Over the course of 2 months, I changed my order a few times and Johnny was super attentive and patient with me. I received my dining set yesterday and I love it. I mean, I couldnt stop petting the table top and sitting in the chairs. The bench I picked out outline is gorgeous and makes me feel like an aristocrat. Top notch customer service and quality furniture- Ill definitely be shopping here again.
Lydia greeted me at the door and was very helpful through the decision-making and purchasing process. She answered all questions I had, but gave my husband and I space to look and discuss without a salesperson hanging around every minute. We very much appreciated that. Lydia also helped us get the best deal possible and thoroughly explained the protection plan and delivery process.My only complaint is that I had to wait on hold almost a full hour when trying to contact the delivery department to arrange for delivery of our furniture. There was an option to get a call back instead of staying on the phone, however when I pressed the number, I got a message that this option was not available and I was put back in the cue. Maybe that department needs more people working in it!
Amazing customer service from John P..he was very kind, helpful and understanding.. he turned around my unfortunate situation and made my day..I had to select a new mattress the one I have is defected. John helped me get the same mattress that actually went up in price, as an even exchange..I appreciate great customer service. John P.. you are AMAZING!! Thank you!!!
We had a great experience at Ashley and it wasn’t the first one. We will continue to be loyal customers. We appreciated our sales associate, Ryan, very much. He wasn’t pushy, he gave us the information we needed, allowed us time to discuss our options without hovering, he tolerated our rambunctious children, and left us smiling. Thanks for a great evening shopping at the store!
We went in today just looking for a sectional to check out selection and prices. We were greeted upon arrival and allowed to browse at our leisure (which I appreciate when trying to decide on a piece of furniture). We found a few sectionals we liked, talked with our salesman, and after a few minutes of deliberating we were suggested to try a couch and love seat set. We were grateful for his honesty with us in choosing a set. He was very informative and very knowledgeable. We would recommend anyone to go to Ashley Furniture. Our salesman, Justin, was so great! I will be sending anyone in need of furniture to him! We were also impressed with Ashley that they offer veterans discount. Thank you Justin for helping us out so much today!!
Stopped in here for the first time on Saturday. We had a really good experience and ended up purchasing a whole new bedroom suite! Our salesmen, Bill Carson, was great and very helpful. I’m glad we found a store as the prices for shipping online were ridiculous. Very excited to receive our bedroom suite and have them set everything up for us.
My experience at the Horseheads store was awesome. I have no issue with the process of my purchase. However, since my initial delivery date my order continues to be delayed and they have postponed my order 6 times. This is turning into a nightmare experience and the excuses by customer service are poor. I ordered a bed well in time for my sons birthday and its still delayed. Will not use Ashley again.
We just left Ashley Homestore and are super pleased with our experience! Ryan helped us find the perfect sectional fit for a small space, which was quite the challenge. He gave us space and don’t hover but provided us with all of the information for cost and financing. We were done in less than an hour. This is our third time buying from Ashley; we will definitely be back!
Never have I had such poor in store customer service. Even worse customer service over the phone. We purchased a living room set in November. At the time of purchase we were promised a $150 gift card if our purchase was over $1000, which it was. We also purchased a mattress which we would pick up on Wednesday. After confirming that the mattress had arrived in the store, we made arrangement to pick it up. When we got to the store, we were informed that we could not pick the mattress because the shipping department was closed on Wednesday. So, on Thursday we made another trip to Ashley Furniture, 40 miles one way, and we were able to pick up the mattress. However, the $150 gift card that was promised for the living room set was now not available for a thousand excuses made up by the sales staff, the same sales staff that had promised it the day before. I wish that was the end of our disappointing experiences with Ashley Furniture. We also ordered a dining room set in early December with the promise of delivery/pickup before Christmas. Once more we called a day in advance to confirm that the furniture was available to be picked up. Once more we were told that the furniture was in the store and was available to be picked up on Friday, 12/23. I took the day off from work, paid for a U Haul truck and drove the 40 miles to pick up the furniture. Once we got to the store, we were informed that the furniture was actually on back order and wouldnt be available until the following week. To make matters worse. nobody could give us an answer to how this situation could be resolved, because all the people in that department had left early for the company Christmas party. We were told that someone would be in contact with us early Tuesday morning. Alas, Tuesday morning came and past and no call from Ashley Furniture. I called the store and after being put on hold a number of time and passed to several people, I was informed that the furniture was actually on the delivery truck and being unloaded at he store. I was also informed that someone from scheduling would contact us before 4 that day. Still nobody called us. I called guest relations to try and get some answers to how this could be resolved and when our furniture would be delivered. After 2 plus hours on the phone and being passed to MANY people that could answer questions and being told that all managers were on the phone and that the person I was talking to was the highest manager in the corporation, she informed me that her supervisor would be in tomorrow 12/28 at 11:45 and would contact us by noon 12/28. We shall see. NOT very impressed with the rude, unhelpful staff and customer service at Ashley Furniture. After reading the reviews on the website, we are not the only ones who have not had a good experience with Ashley Furniture. Im sure the BBB and the Corporate Office in Arcadia, WI will also be unimpressed with the way Ashley Furniture treats their customers...
Let me tell you about my experience. Me and my finance wanted a new living room set for our new apartment the first time we went Ryan was lovely he helped us pick out a great couch unfortunately it didn’t fit and we had too pick a different one. The second time we went to pick our new furniture Ryan wasn’t there unfortunately the customer service WAS HORRIBLE. The sales lady was clearly annoyed with us but everyone else there was there same way I am a manger in retail and my job would be taken if I acted that way once this couch is paid of I will never step foot in there again. Need more people like Ryan in your store nobody else is right too deal with people.
I bought a bed from them. It was delivered weeks later than expected allegedly due to them damaging the frame. When it did arrive, I liked it. I tried to purchase a sofa from them. I gave the sales person the dimensions of my place and showed him a photo. He said it would fit. It did not. They told me I could downgrade to a loveseat and get a refund for the rest. I did. I had to pay for delivery again and what small refund I did get came as store credit. They essentially kept the money as Ill likely never shop there again. If you need something cheap and dont mind waiting over a month for your furniture, then go for it. If you want better quality or decent customer service, Id try somewhere else.
Great experience, called the store and spoke with Tanya. I was not able to come into the showroom but explained what I was looking for... She sent me pictures from their showroom and kiosk. Excellent service! Found just the right chairs for my farm table, purchased 6. Be sure to ask for Tanya when you arrive.
Definitely ask for Kristina Crooks- she worked with my husband and I on our bedroom furniture and mattress purchase and she was an absolute rock star! There was no pressure put on us so she could make a sale, she gave us the space necessary to make our decision and then slayed it when we were ready. You will not be disappointed with the service you receive when dealing with Kristina! 🙂
Excellent service. Ryan was very knowledgeable, professional, and accommodating! I purchased a kitchen island/dining set, and Ryan was able to work with my tight schedule to have it on a truck and out for delivery within 15 min of completing the paperwork!!!! Will definitely be stopping here first for my future furniture needs!
We purchased a sectional today from Ashley Home Store in Horseheads NY and we were thrilled with our experience. Tanya worked with us and she was wonderful. She was very knowledge about every product we looked at and she took lots of time to answer all our questions and make suggestions to help meet our needs. She is very patient and kind. I would highly recommend Tanya and Ashley Home Store to anyone. Ashley is lucky to have Tanya representing their company!
We made the trip an hour from Binghamton for the Presidents day sale and so happy we did. We worked with Ty Strong on the sales floor who was very helpful with our needs. He gave us space and time to look over everything which was great not feeling smothered. Everyone in the store was friendly and polite. We would definitely recommend Ashley furniture to our friends and family and will do future business with them as well.
My husband and I went in here looking for a couch, and were pleasantly surprised by the prices and how comfortable all of them were! We also got help from Lydia, who is AWESOME. She was so helpful, patient, and kind. And got us a really nice deal. We loved our experience and would definitely recommend that people go here (and find Lydia for help). :)
Johnny helped us find the perfect living room set for a great price. He was incredibly nice, and wasn’t too overbearing while we were looking around which we appreciated. We plan to come back for a mattress at some point and will definitely be looking for Johnny to help us again with that.
Just had a great experience at Ashleys. Looked for furniture last weekend but couldnt decide. Got a business card from Ty and he said to call anytime I was ready. Called him today, on his day off, and he came in ! He is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. But most importantly hes pleasant and polite. Didnt push at all, let me take my time. This is the first of two reviews...i think. I felt compelled to share with everyone that I ordered a 4-Piece sectional on June 16th from the store in Horseheads, New York. My salesman, Ryan, is and has been, very helpful and very responsive throughout the last three months as Ive waited for my furniture to arrive. I was told initially that because of covid-19 my order could take up to at least six or seven weeks. Today I was told that the soonest delivery date I could have was October 8th!!! I do understand and want to be reasonable given the covid-19 situation. But I ordered this on June 16th, well into the covid-19 situation. I wanted to inform individuals who were considering purchasing furniture that they could easily be looking at THREE TO FOUR MONTH WAIT before they receive the furniture that they paid for. I will do another review on the actual furniture.quality and comfort when and if it ever arrives.
We were so happy with our shopping experience and our salesman, Jason Nehring. He allowed us to browse the store at our own pace, but was ready to answer any questions we had. When we decided on the bedroom set and living room sofa, he helped us to get every deal possible and made our purchase affordable. He was knowledgeable and helpful without being pushy. We are happy with our furniture purchases and the shopping process.
I wanted to say Alena was fantastic and dealt with our indecisiveness well! She was very helpful and what she didnt know she found out right away. I only gave it 4 stars because my husband was not pleased with the men he encountered about a month ago when he went to check on mattress and power base pricing, he said they were rude and acted like he was an inconvenience . Will update on delivery in 8 days.
Ty Strong is awesome to work with. He is super knowledgeable and overall it was a fun experience. Purchasing furniture has never been so easy and enjoyable! Thank you Ty for your becoming a friend and not being a pushy salesman like Ive found at other stores. I recommend everyone asks for Ty, he is the CEO for a reason!
I purchased two couches, a chair, and an ottoman on 6/27/2020, my in store experience was okay. The salesman worked with and gave us decent pricing, over all it was a good experience. We were told that day 6-8 WEEKS our furniture would be ready for pick up. Salesman told me to call every week and check what the date with customer service. First few weeks they gave me Aug 11th for pick up. Which is in the range I was told. The week before Aug 11th I call and am told it will not be avaible until Sept 25th. Today August 14th, I am told that my furniture will not be available until OCTOBER 6th.I understand that Covid is delaying production. However, why was I told 6-8 weeks. Every week I get a different answer, and it gets pushed out later?! Customer service is not accommodating to the situation what so ever.I would avoid purchasing furniture right now.
Great selection of furniture. We quickly found what we needed. Our salseperson was Lydia, she was fantastic. We found a couch we liked but didnt like the material. She knew they had a couch that was structurally the same but a different fabric. She was knowledgeable about her products which I find very important in a salesperson.
The people at Ashley Home store were fantastic. There was a great balance between helpful and letting me browse around at my own pace. They werent overbearing at all. Even the people who cashed me out were friendly and human. Polite, but no ridiculous small talk. Just nice. Delivery arrangements couldnt have been easier.
Service was excellent. The sales rep Ryan was friendly and greeted us when we walked in. He wasnt pushy and gave us space to look around. We came in looking for a bed which the selection was a bit overwhelming. With his help though we were able narrow it down to 3 in our price range and select the one that fit us the best. He even explained how the one we were looking at absorbed heat making it cooler to sleep on. Would recommend to others and I will return for future purchases.
Ryan was very helpful , he made sure we got what we wanted . He made my fiancé and I feel comfortable and not overwhelmed. He made sure we were happy at the end of the experience. He was very generous!!! I will definitely be recommending him and Ashley’s to everyone I know !
Talk about a great furniture shopping experience! We walked in & Ryan introduced himself. We told him what we were looking for & he lead us right to that section. He let us shop & ask questions when we had them. He definitely didn’t hover over us & make us feel pressured at all about making a decision that day. We did purchase & we couldn’t be more excited about our delivery! Thank you, Ryan, for making our Ashley shopping experience a positive one!
Bought a living room set at the Horseheads store. Had a problem with one of the items that I bought. Called the store and went down to the store and talked to Seth the Manager of the store and Lydia the sales lady and explained my problem with the sofa I bought. The sofa was discontinued so I had to find a new one to replace it. Seth did a tremendous job in helping me pick out a new one and also went out of his way to compensate me on the new sofa I picked out.I was very satisfied with the way that I was treated and the way they handled my situation. I was extremely pleased with everyone that helped me in the store including the lady that did the paperwork. Once again would like to say thank you to Seth and his staff for all they did and would not hesitate to return to the store to buy something else.
Ryan was great. I just ordered a dining table , chairs and bench yesterday after a couple trips in trying to decide on the purchase. He was helpful, friendly but let me have my space while shopping. No pressure which was great. All sales staff very nice to encounter. Excited to get our items
My girlfriend and I purchased a living room set, bedroom set and kitchen table and chairs. We were helped by Tanya who did not pressure and was genuine and so nice. Tanya provided my girlfriend and I with all the information we needed and was outstanding helping us select a new mattress as well. Tanya’s service was top notch and if we ever do more shopping we’ll be sure to ask for Tanya. Thank you Tanya for making a fun, relaxing afternoon of furniture shopping.
We stopped to look around and found a great deal and ended up buying a great sectional. Ours salesman, Derek Sharkey, was fantastic. Once everything was handed off to the support staff to be entered into system, etc., there seemed to be a lot of mix-ups. Initially when I called to have delivery set up, I had to call back because they said it was backordered. When I followed up on this with our salesman, the information had been input incorrectly in the system. I then called back (which was my third call to get delivery scheduled). Delivery went fine. We did short-term financing (90 days) and that was messed up as well. The salesman was great but I think when it comes to the level of inputting data, and from that point on, it could use some work. I had to make 3 phone calls just to set up delivery. Then, once we agreed on day and time block, we received a call that it was not confirmed until we called yet again to confirm. There is a lot of unnecessary phone calls and hassle in the delivery process. This stuff used to be set up at the store before you left. I think that is a much more customer friendly way to do things. Overall, we love the furniture and highly recommend Derek. Despite the mix-ups in paperwork, we are happy with the furniture and would recommend.
Our furniture has had quality issues. Seams ripped out, sagging frames on sofa and loveseat. Have manufacturer and their additional warranty, but told nothing is covered. We’re told the warranties are “conditional”. Yet nobody can explain what that means. Will never buy there again.
My experience while shopping at Ashley was a very good one. Lydia greeted me when I entered the store. She gave me a brief description of where everything was in the store. I am one who does not like sales person pressure, and there wasn’t any. I went to her and showed her my fabric preference, and what I was looking for and she took me right to it. I purchased a chair that was at a knock out price. I purchased an area rug that I fell in love with at 50% off the price. Then I ordered the sofa of anyone’s dreams! AND Lydia was great. She is well informed with the store contents and pricing. She has been with Ashley in Horseheads NY for 16 years. She is definitely an asset to Ashley. I will definitely go back to purchase for my home, and I will make sure I deal with her as she made my shopping/purchasing an excellent experience. I will be sharing this experience with all of my friends and recommending her as their sales lady. Thank you Lydia!
My husband and I visited the showroom in Horsehead, NY. We were greeted immediately by a very helpful and knowledgeable associate named Lydia. We were there to purchase a bedroom suite including mattresses. She was very patient and courteous with the entire experience and she answered all of our questions with fine details.We look forward to our furniture being delivered. I have been shopping at Ashley furniture for a long time. I have bought two bedroom sets, two living room sets, and two mattresses. The staff there has been amazing. From the sales team to the front desk... I have always been treated with kindness. They have always gone above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I would recommend anyone going to Ashley.
Visited Ashley Furniture today in search of a new couch and love seat. Have bought from there before and had an okay experience. Went back today and was blown away with customer service as well as options in furniture. Was assisted by Ryan who hooked us up with an amazing deal on the set that we fell in love with. I did not feel like we were being given the go around or being talked into anything during the sale. It was as straightforward as it gets! I highly suggest stopping into Ashley Furniture for your furniture needs and I would definitely go back for more furniture. As far as our salesman hes as good as it gets!!!
Shopping experience was very good. Went in looking for new mattress and was helped by Andrew. He gave us a great experience by providing us with information about our intended purchase and explained other options without trying to upsell us to a more expensive one. Delivery on the other hand...disappointing already.We were told to call today to schedule our free delivery and old mattress removal. We called and were informed that they only deliver to my area on Saturdays.The only available appointment happened to be this Saturday, which I am unavailable for. Was told the next available delivery date is not until sometime in April. So now my free delivery has now turned into I have to pay to dispose of my old mattress, take time to go pick it up myself and install it myself. So my overall review - sales= thumbs up, delivery= big thumbs down, hence the 3 star review.
I went in this store on March 2, 2019 looking for just a chair and ottoman. The salesman was great and helped me. He told me that it would be 14-28 days before it came in but I could call back and check on a more accurate date. Yesterday was the 25 day so I called the store to see if they could give me an arrival period. I was transferred to a rude lady that told me they would call me when my recliner arrived, I do not need to call them. You would think 25 days into this order they would have details.
Ryan was great. He didnt hover, gave us space to decide, but was close by to answer any questions, always very respectful and professional. He went above and beyond helping us find what we were looking for...even to the point of having the perfect set brought in from the warehouse and set up in the showroom. The only negative is the delivery. We were told 2-4 weeks, which would have been about March 27th, but when I called to schedule, I was told that because some of the material is out of stock, delivery will not be until April 23rd. That makes it close to two months to receive our furniture, not 2-4 weeks.
I wish I would of checked their Facebook page prior to ordering!! Sooooo many ppl having the same issues!!We purchased a mattress (beautyrest black k class) set w adjustable base from Ashley HomeStore in Horseheads NY in preparation of my husbands upcoming back surgery, we were told by the store 7-14 days to receive our order, we had an original delivery date of July 9th, July 8th we got rid of our old mattress set to prepare for delivery of our new set!! Later that same day we received a call from Ashley that due to manufacturer delay they did not obtain our order and had to reschedule, rescheduled to today July 16th, yesterday July 15th we once again received a reschedule call this time they say July 30th!! It clearly states on beautyrest website a 4-6 week lead time!! Yet Ashley is telling ppl 7-14 days and then blaming the delay on their suppliers, I contacted beauty rest customer service yesterday to inquire on our order & was told to obtain the beautyrest order number from Ashley & they would be more then happy to track our order. ASHLEY REFUSES TO GIVE US THAT NUMBER!! If we were made aware of the delay when originally ordering we would have understood n NOT GOT RID OF OUR BED, we had to go n buy a USED mattress last night n are currently sleeping ON THE FLOOR!! Ashley offered us a $500 store gift card for the inconvenience! What good does that do if u don’t receive the product?? They are selling products that can’t fulfill, then blames it on the supplier or covid!! If you read the reviews here & Facebook you will see this has gone on for YEARS!!I have since contacted BeautyRest, NY Attorney General & the Better Business Bureau.
We were shopping for a couple new sets of living room furniture. We located a set on the Ashley web site for a great price. Unfortunately the shipping was $350. Ill drive an hour to save $350. My wife called the store, and asked if they would honor the online price. The response was a curt, no, we dont match, we have to pay shipping too.Im happy to say, other Ashley stores would match the price. Even better was the local independent Ashley dealer. They not only had it in stock, they matched the Ashley website. Oh, and they are delivering it for free.
Worst customer service experience ever! I ordered a lift top cocktail table. It literally took at least 3 people to open it and then it wouldn’t close. I called customer service and they were going to send out new hinges. A month later there were still no hinges and customer service was not returning my calls. Ashley refuses to take anything back even if it’s broken, once you sign for it. Worst customer service policy I ever heard of . I am making a point to let everyone I know understand what a horrible company this is to do business with. It’s bad enough that it takes 4-6 weeks to get an item but then they don’t even stand behind their product.
My husband and I went to the storend to look at beds and dining room tables. We werent completely sure we were going to buy anything that day, we just wanted to look around. We were greeted by Lydia right away, who directed us to the areas of the store we were interested in. She didnt hound us or follow us, which in the past, was always the worst part about furniture shopping. The prices were unbeatable, so we ended up buying both the items we liked, and the processes was incredibly simple. Lydia took care of everything. I would highly recommend shopping at this location to others, and I know Ill be back myself.
The representative that I had was Mickenzie N. He was absolutely fantastic. He was able to show me through the numerous mattresses, and bed frames to find something that I not only liked but that I was able to afford. He did not make me feel in anyway rushed or overwhelmed.His customer service skills are amazing. He was just an overall very friendly individual that truly cares for his job and the customers that come with it. I will purchase furniture from Ashley Again and will use Mickenzie due to my overall satisfaction with his service!
This was our first stop and then we returned for a purchase. Prices and selection were better than the other places where we looked. Liked that we were pointed in the direction of where to look when we walked inand then when we spent more time at a table, we were approached by Lori to answer our questions. They were very willing to give us a deal because we were paying cash and didnt need financing. Will return for future purchases. (Eric and Kerri)
Mickenzie was the best salesman ever! He did not hover over my husband and I, yet he would check on us to see if we had questions throughout our journey looking for living room furniture. When my husband and I would start a little disagreement (lol), Mickenzie would chuckle and excuse himself so my husband and I could discuss in private. Ashleys warranties/guarantees are top notch!! Could not ask for better quality, warranties, or sales experience! Very highly recommend this store over all the others we visited!
Tyreel was very knowledgeable and helped find us the best deal until we were satisfied. We had a lot of issues after receiving the bedroom set a month later but after a two hour conversation and nothing being done we were assed to a higher up manager Seth who made good as much as he could. Unfortunately we will not be doing business with Ashleys again
Came in looking for a new furniture set. Patrick pleasantly greeted us at the door and pointed my wife and I in the right direction. He was easy to talk to and wasnt pressuring us into anything. He dropped right to his lowest price and was knowledgeable about the furniture we were interested in. Needless to say we have the most comfortable furniture set in the store and it will look great. 5 stars is for my salesperson, Ryan. I went to Ashley in Horseheads on a whim and ended up purchasing the Porter bedroom set at a fair price. Ryan was super friendly and very knowledgable. My experience in that store and with that salesperson was excellent. I am however, very disappointed that my new bedroom set will not be delivered until March 29th which will be over a month from my purchase date of February 25th. This month long delivery process will make me leary of any future purchases from Ashley, no matter how good the price and staff are.
My wife and I will never buy from Ashely furniture again! We have been a customer since 2011 and this is the third item we have bought. We ordered a sectional the first week of February of this year and it was suppose to come in by March 1. We got a call 2 weeks later, one of the piece got back ordered and then another call the couch was damage had to be sent back. They dropped off 2 pieces of the couch 3/1 and we were told the follow pieces would be in by the following week and delivered. We then got a call that it be in but they couldn’t fit in the delivery for another 2 weeks. The couch was delivered 2 weeks later and we had the couch for 3 days the the recliner stopped working. We called and said just take the couch back bc we’ve had it by then with little to no helpful response from customer support. We are informed we can’t return the couch unless they can’t fix it. The Part comes weeks later and then it takes another 2 weeks for someone to come fix the couch and they didn’t even send the part That was required. They said they would resend a new part and we have yet to receive it 3 weeks later! It’s been almost 3 months and making a payment on couch that doesn’t even work!!!
I am so happy with my salesman Ryan. He helped me find the perfect living room set for my new townhouse. He wasnt pushy and let me have time to think alone to decide on the set and color that would make both me and my boyfriend happy. Will definately go back and do business with again. We always shop with bill he is the best. We go in Ashley alot but dont always buy something .Bill isnt pushy or aggressive thats why we always have him help us. He us very knowledgeable. And he will always tell us whats the best for us . He is a true gentleman and dissent act like a salesman he acts like a professional but we matter. Not just us but all the clients he works for . We gave brought a lot of friends with us threw the years and he has been just as honest. Thanks Bill.
As soon as my husband and I walked in the door Ty Strong was fun and energetic. We told him that we were in the process of buying a house and that we were just browsing. He was very professional and went out of his way to help us any way. He has also called to let me know that the living room set that we fell in love with is now on sale. I fully intend to go on tomorrow to pay for that set. I think all salespeople should be like him!
Great deals, helpful sales people. Unfortunately not the best experience.Purchased a seemingly great deal on a clearance sofa, salesman assured me it was possible to take the back panels off to get through a tight hallway if necessary. Delivery 2 weeks later, and the drivers couldnt even get it in the house, much less through the tight corner and stairwell. They were adamant that there wasnt an option to take panels off due to the power recliner options. On top of that they had no tools to help themselves, in way of furniture dolleys etc. Just 2 guys and 4 arms. With better equipment they may have been able to safely maneuver it on end without tearing it up. Had to refuse delivery and refund the purchase. Will try again with a less perfect item for my situation.
We placed an order for a sofa, loveseat and a rocker recliner on March 14 2020 (prior to covid shut down) and was told our items would be delivered by 5/01/20. Then covid-19 happened. We didnt receive one phone call after the covid stipulations were lifted to inform us of our new delivery date. The delivery process has been a nightmare. We were finally contacted and informed our pieces would be delivered June 26th. We disposed of all our old furniture only to have that date cancelled on us and rescheduled for July 10 🙄 On July 10th the truck only delivered one of the three pieces. A phone call was made and thats when they told us that we had two separate orders and the remaining pieces would be delivered July 17. Well that is today. We only got one of the two remaining pieces. Now we are being informed that the final piece is on back order and will not be delivered until September 4. If its even delivered labor day weekend it took almost six months for us to get our furniture. No phone calls made, no apologies given, not even a gift card for the major inconvenience. I understand the covid delays. I dont understand the reason for all the partial deliveries and the cancelled deliveries.
We had an amazing shopping experience, or rather experiences. Mickenzie was super friendly and accommodated us during each and every visit that we made to Ashley as we were researching and shopping for the best furniture for our space. At no point did we feel pressured or rushed which was very refreshing. We would definitely purchase from Ashley and from Mickenzie again.
My husband and I had a wonderful and friendly experience this evening. Our consultant Tyrrell Strong is on point and well educated about this industry. He was very sincere in the way he interacted with us; was willing to go above and beyond to fix a claim issue we had. We are looking to get more furniture from Ashley furniture in the near future and will be going back to this gentleman. We were able to joke, laugh, be serious and just be us. Lydia, the employee who helped us, was very attentive and kind as we searched around the store for a sectional. She was very patient, even when we decided not to purchase on our first trip. When we went back she remembered us and the sectional we had wanted. She was a huge factor in our decision, as we were considering ordering online through another retailer.
My daughter ordered a TV stand online over a month ago from you and you sent the wrong TV stand. It took her a couple days to get through and talked to a woman who said they would have to send driver back to get the stand and it would be a couple days to get it back. It got picked up and she got a message that it arrived there, but she has not been able to get a response back. Its been almost a week of leaving messages and no replies back. You sent the wrong TV stand you could see that by the sticker on the box that it wasnt right and NO ONE is returning her call so she has filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals office. There was no reason for not sending the correct TV Stand right back out for delivery! Poor customer Service and someone needs to make this right AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!
I recent went here on a mission for a new sectional and had an exceptional experience! The selection is huge! The staff were friendly, courteous and most importantly honest. While discussing the sectional I liked, Mikenzie let me know there was a previous display model in clearance and saved me a bunch! I wouldnt have ever known and will definitely be back, highly recommend him and this store!
Awesome place to stop in if youre in the market for new furniture! I was greeted by an excellent salesmen by the name of Tyreell Strong. He was very customer friendly, willing to answer any questions I had, but not pushy at all. Ashley was an excellent place to shop with great prices! My experience was great all around.
Great experience, I sort of came in last minute but I wasnt made to feel like anyone was in a rush to go. Mickenzie was so nice and very knowledgeable about the product I was interested in. He answered all questions I had without having to ask them and he did a price match for me for the sale online! I definitely recommend this furniture store for your furniture needs.
Wonderful people to work with. After I purchased my bedroom set I went home and discovered the bed fame wouldnt fit right. I called customer care where they misunderstood my situation and canceled my whole order. However, I went into the store and talked with some great people and they gave me 100% credit to pick something else out for the bed frame and was able to get my other purchases fixed so i could get them in time for my move. All was fixed within a day. Thank you so much Tyreell Strong, Amber and Seth for all of your help!
The sale and the delivery went very smooth and everyone was professional.There was an issue with the drawer glide on the bed frame. We notified Ashley immediately and they ordered the part and informed us to call back to get an appointment with the repair man when the part arrived, which we did.When I called they gave me an appointment, I waited for the repair person that day of the appointment and there was a no show, called and was toldthey called and cancelled and I did not get a call or a message regarding this.they rescheduled for 2 weeks after calling and voicing our concern we were given a cancellation appointment in 6 days, we had already waited a week for the first appointment and should have been given a closer date, not 2 weeks.Any conversation we have had with customer service, no results, no call backs and their answer was they could not do anything about it.Repairman finally came and was very professional and did a good job fixing the problem. Customer Service not so good!!!! We wont have this problem again because wont be back for future purchases.
Me and my kid’s went in looking for furniture and had such a warm welcome. The kid’s played in the kid zone house area and loved it while I looked around. My salesperson looked very familiar when I came in but I couldn’t put his name to his face for nothing. Finally I figured it out and it was Eric Issing whom I worked with at the star gazette for many years. Eric was great he helped me find what I was looking for since being I seen it online and he honored the online price. Nice seeing you Eric you rock!! Thanks again for all your help. Today I went in to Ashley Furniture Homestore to purchase bedroom furniture, before our move. I was delighted that our salesperson, Justin, was able to help us do just that. I could also tell that he was well trained because he was very knowledgeable and helpful, especially with mattresses. I would definitely choose Ashley and work with Justin again.
My experience with Ashley Home Store in Horseheads, NY was very good. Johnny Picarazzi was our associate. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and answered several questions. He worked with us on the cost of our purchase. I highly recommend Ashely Home Store, and definitely recommend Johnny.
So we decided last minute to check out bedding here. Mickenzie started helping us about half an hour before the store closed with our purchase of a bed and 2 night stands. Then we decided to also get a mattress. Mickenzie stayed an hour past close to help us from start to finish! Plus his product knowledge was incredible. There wasnt one question we asked that he couldnt answer but he rarely left us with questions after his amazingly detailed breakdown of the items we were looking at. He is the ideal salesman. Confident, enthusiastic, and wont pressure you. We will definitely recommend this store and more specifically Mickenzie to everyone we know. Thank you for such a wonderful shopping experience!
Been in Ashley a few times previously and could never make up my mind on what I wanted Ty Strong was able to explain all the pros and cons to each living room set. He found us the perfect set to fit our lifestyle. He explained the furniture like nobody I have ever seen. My husband had hip surgery two days ago and he needed a new recliner so I stopped by Ashley and was greeted by a wonderful young man Ryan and he was amazing helping me find a chair for my husband. Ryan found a chair they had in the store and they delivered to my house within a half hour so my husband would be more comfortable. Thank you so much Ryan for going about helping us out. He is sleeping like a baby in his new chair.
We went there today with a dont settle attitude. We did not expect such friendly, helpful and knowledgeable customer service! Tanya was so wonderful! We would have left empty handed had it not been for her! The wait for delivery seems like a lifetime but worth it to have exactly what we want! I cant wait for our new couch to come!
Although this is a huge store with lots of furniture options, everything we liked was going to be an 8-12 week order. The expensive sectionals we wanted are on back order. Staff is helpful, but when I find what I want I dont want to wait 2-3 MONTHS to get it. Very disappointed.
I had a great experience at Ashley Homestore in Horseheads. Getting there was a bit tricky as their enterence is hidden, but once inside, oh my! I have been couch shopping for about three years and have yet to find something that spoke to me at the right price. As I entered I was greeted by Ona she was friendly, knowledgeable and let me peruse. as I had only stopped to get idea of what the furniture was about in person after some online shopping. Once I was ready she was right there with all of the answers and somehow I walked out the proud owner of a stylish, comfortable quality new living room sectional! Ona was quick to understand what was important to me and guided me to the piece that really fit all my families needs.
Horrible horrible service. My wife had a credit line with these folks of 10k, we bought a new livingroom and bedroom set from them for $7000, they would not sell it to her because the card THEIR company gave her did not put a space between her 1st and middle name. Bought the same furniture online (for half the cost), only to have the shipping postponed 3x (over 6 weeks). So she cancelled. I wouldnt buy a throw rug or coffee table from them.
I had ordered a couch and a chaise from the Ashley Homestore in Horseheads back in early July. I was told a few days after I had purchased the furniture that it would be delivered in about a month, which had already seemed like a long time to wait. Then things got worse, the delivery was delayed 3 separate times, each time an Ashley representative would call around 5 days before the scheduled delivery date to tell us it was delayed. I was offered no explanation, no apology, and no discount on the $200 I was charged for delivery. So in all it was two month from the time I paid for the furniture and the time they decided to deliver it. I had called the sales rep that I had purchased the furniture from in store to try to see what the hold up was and I was told there was nothing he could do and I would have to call the Ashley guest relations. When I called Ashley guest relations, I was told that they couldn’t do anything and that I would have to call Ashley guest services and of course I was never able to reach Ashley guest services. To say the least this was a nightmare experience for me and I will never set foot in this Ashley store again. I highly advise that potential customers shop elsewhere as I am afraid this was not an isolated incident.
My husband and I went to Ashley Home Store in Horseheads to look for a loveseat and a swivel chair for our media room. The salesman who helped us at first with the chair was out sick when we returned the next day. Tyreell Strong warmly and enthusiastically greeted us when we entered the store. We asked for the salesman who had previously helped us, and Ty said he was out sick. He then offered to help us in the absence of the salesman who was out sick, saying that if we bought the chair we had seen with the first salesman, he would be sure to give the proper credit to that salesman. Ty was very friendly and answered our many questions. He also showed us smaller scale pieces that he thought might work in the limited space we were dealing with at home. We thanked him and left, telling him we needed to shop around more. We returned the next day and told him that we had decided to purchase both the swivel chair and a loveseat we had seen with his help. He wrote up the purchases and made sure to give credit on the chair to the first salesman, while Ty got the credit on the loveseat purchase. We found Ty to be well spoken and very knowledgeable about Ashley and the products they offer. He presented as professional and friendly. We would definitely enjoy working with Ty again.
This was our second visit to this store.The sale person Ona was very professional she was there very step of the way in ya choosing our lovely beautiful dining set. Ona went above and beyond giving us our space when we needed it we were not rushed she answered all our questions she even went out of her way to help us in in trying to get some counter stools taking the time to phone around to check if other stores had the item we were looking for. She explain everything in the most detailed ways for us to understand she did not rush us we were given enough time to make a decision. She even went out of her way to give us her number tocontact her if we werein anyway doubtful or had any questions or concerns. When we had problems with the delivery or schedule specialists she was able to make amends. Ona is a true sales woman she made the experience most enjoyable with a human touch. Someone who knows her job
Very pleased with our experience in the store. The sales people greet you at the door and point you in the direction of what ever you are looking for, then tell you if you have any questions about something to call them over and they will help you. They leave you alone and dont hover around you. Our sales person was very knowledgeable about the products and very helpful.
This is the first time we were in the store, and we bought a new mattress and bed. Lori Cornell helped us with our purchase. She is an outstanding consultant who is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back in the future thanks to our experience in the store with Lori!
I dealt with Micah while I was there. He was an amazing help and my fiancé and I left with exactly what we were looking for. I would recommend seeing him if youre searching for any furniture. He helped us sign up for a credit card and found everything that we needed within our budget! Great visit!
I had come to Ashley on a whim because my glass top coffee table cracked down the middle. I didn’t want to go to Walmart and get a cheap replacement, but I also wasn’t looking for the top of the line table either. Upon arriving Mickenzie greeted me with a hello and a smile. My six year old and I headed straight back to the clearance section, I didn’t see much of anything in my price range or that wasn’t a glass top. So after walking out of the clearance section Mickenzie approached me and told me that some of the merchandise on the floor was discounted. Long story short I ended up finding a matching set of end tables and a coffee table for $90, and during the whole process Mickenzie was NEVER pushy, or the typical “breathing down your neck” “looking to make a sale” type of associate, no one I’ve ever encountered at Ashley is. And if Mickenzie hadn’t told me about discounted pricing on the floor I surely would have left and probably gotten something I was less than satisfied with. I will definitely be going to Ashley for any of my furniture needs and would highly recommend working with Mickenzie again! And to add to my experience, he came out and helped me load my set into my car and although it would have been easier with a bigger vehicle, he helped make it work and was very gentle with my new purchase! Thanks again Mickenzie for making my buying and loading experience a breeze!!!!!!
Being that this was the first time Ive ever visited the store at all, I must say I was extremely pleased with the service we got while there. Mickenzie helped us from beginning to end all while being super friendly and helpful. So much so that it almost felt like we were friends before i ever walked in there. He turned what i assumed would be a painfully drawn out process of finding the right mattress, bed set, and getting the paperwork done into a quick, rather fun experience. It was very relaxed and i really liked that at no point did we feel rushed or as if we just had to buy anything. Excellent job. Will most definitely return as long as Mickenzie is there.
Bill and Tiffany were amazing to work with! Although I had a bit of a wait on my financing we talked at laughed most of the time! It didnt seem like much of a wait. Bill helped me find exactly what I was looking for! I cannot wait until next time I need something for my home!
Absolutely terrible customer service. Ordered a couch and it took nearly 3 months to get it to me. After an initial delay of 1.5 months, they delivered the wrong piece of a two piece sectional and then I had to wait another 1.5 months to get the other piece, which was only in Batavia. After finally getting the thing, the only compensation theyd offer was a delivery refund or what amounted to $50 store credit. During this ordeal, promised phone call follow ups either never came or were hours late. Never shopping here again.
The atmospher was great and the sales person, Ona was knowledgeable and tentative to myself and husband,!!! We felt very comfortable while there and no one pressured us into buying anything even though we did! I would definitely go back there again! Thank you to all the staff there!

I was looking for a very specific piece of accent furniture for my living room - who knew Ashley Homestore had exactly what I was looking for! Our sales associate Ona, was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I found this same piece at a competitor, but with the price match program and Onas personality - we came back to Ashley to make our final purchase. I will certainly reach out to Ona and Ashley Homestore again!
Took my 76 yo father shopping for a kitchen table. Found a perfect size table for my father, at a good price, with the help of a very patient salesman, Mickenzie Nowicki. He also helped us with warranty questions on furniture purchased previously at that store. Thanks for making the purchase process easy for the both of us.
Ive shopped here three times in the last few months and worked with Mickenzie every time. Its been one of my greatest shopping experiences. Every time Ive shopped here, Ive also had both of my children with me. Mickenzie is always very relaxed and not pushy in any way. I prefer not having someone hover over me while I look around. What would have been stressful experiences, was eased by working with him. Mickenzie was also very informative in helping us make the best choice for exactly what we were looking for. I highly recommend Mickenzie for anyone thinking about shopping here! The play space available for small children was a huge bonus. Also, the two gentleman that delivered my furniture arrived when they were scheduled to and were very respectful.
My experience at the Horseheads NY store was amazing. Mickenzie, the salesman who assisted me was attentive, helpful and knowledgable. The store matched the sale price from Ashley website and then some. Mickenzie called me a few hours after my purchase to tell me he just saw the price of my dresser drop on the website by another $100 dollars so they would credit me the difference! Who does that???? Will shop there again and am confident Mickenzie will still be there if he chooses as his skills far outreach those of any salesman I have ever met. Thank you!
Just left the store, my wife and I are very happy with our experience. We dealt with a sales manager named Micah and he was very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. We ended up buying a nice 2 piece sectional and he helped us find one that was in our budget. If you stop in Id recommend asking for him.
My fiance and I came into Ashley in Horseheads, and were greeted right away by Derik Sharkey. Derik asked us what we were looking for, and asked us if we had any pictures of our living room to help guide us to the perfect sofa for us. Derik was extremely patient with us as we tried out numerous couches, and decorative chairs for our new home. He made great suggestions, did measurements for us, and showed us different combinations of furniture that would really pull our living room together. After we made our decision, Derik helped us get signed up for interest free financing, a 5 year protection plan, and even hooked us up with free delivery to our home! We will most certainly be making another trip to Ashley in the future, and we greatly appreciate all the effort and time Derik put in to our transaction.
I had a mission and plan in my head, I went to Ashley and was met by Tiffany Carpenter. She was knowledgeable, friendly and listened. Tiffany and the checkout lady made sure I got the best deals which made me feel like my goal surpassed my original plsn. Thank you Tiffany!
Today was second time that I went to Ashley Furniture. First I was visiting one in Syracuse and I really like the service. Today I went there, first no one asked me if I needed any help. Maybe 5 people were standing at the entrance and they did not even greet me. I found someone to ask what I was looking for and instead showing me where the item were located she just pointed to me, which was confusing and could not really understand where she was pointing. Next I found another person and ask him what I was looking for and he said I think this is the only one in the store. I was shocked how rude the employees were and just had no idea how to assist customers. this was my worst retail experience.
I was in today and was helped by Mickenzie Nowicki. He was extremely knowledgeable about the furniture and services ashley provides like furniture protection and delivery services. I did not buy today however I will be back and I would recommend ashley and Mickenzie to all of my friends and family.
My boyfriend and I went into Ashleys today to purchase a loveseat. We were greeted by Derik who walked us directly to the type we were looking for. Upon not finding exactly what we had previously seen at the Geneva Ashley store Derik was able with the help of Seth the store manager to locate the exact loveseat we were looking for at their warehouse in PA. Seth and Derik gave us a great savings on our purchase. We had a wonderful professional experience with Derik never being pushy with our purchase. Being only a sales associate for a month, we give Derik 5 stars as well as Seth (store manager) for taking the time and being able to locate exactly what we were looking for. Would recommend Ashleys to others.
Unfortuantely I have change my rating from 5 stars to one star. I bought livingroom furniture there 16 months ago and also purchased the protection plan. Mistake. The product is shoddy and they are unwilling to make it right. The protection plan does not cover the damage that happened to our sofa, EVEN THOUGH I WAS IT WOULD. Unfortunately it is a manufacturing issue and they will not cover frame damage. So, now Im stuck with a broken couch, and a paid for extended warrenty. Beyond frustrated. I even called the corporate office and asked repeatedly to speak to a manager, after being on hold for 15 minutes, the lady still wouldnt let me speak to her manager. They made a shoddy product and WONT stand by it. Eberyone was great when it was time,to buy the furniture AND extended warranty.. But when you go to use it, thats,another story. Well I need a new couch, guess where I WONT BE GOING??? Dont waste your money here!
Pushy and demeaning. The sales lady told me she didnt think I should try to put a table together it might be above my skill level. They had a sale going on 20% off but you had to pay for delivery and buy their protection plan . 180 bucks to bring it 5 miles yea ok . We didnt buy there. We did buy someplace else though .
I will never step foot an a Ashley furniture ever again. You walk in and its a bunch of children working. As we looked around theyre all standing around joking laughing, and being obnoxious. my salesman was tall and goofey speaks like a stoner worst ever paid me no attention. We bought our mattress and massage bed at metro mattress $5800 later cause noone helped us at Ashleys. Most un-professional store ive ever been too.
Just so you know you can not buy anything from Ashley. You pay them then they order it acting as middle man. They have you hostage for 5 plus weeks plus + they have your money while you wait!! We went to raymour and Flanagan got what we paid for in 3 days delivered 👍🏻
My wife and I went to Ashleys just to look at the new stuff ! The person who showed us around was Lydia. Very professional! I would recommend going to Ashleys and visit with Lydia, have her show you around, you dont have to buy anything ! But.....We did ! Thank You Ashley and your crew for taking your time with us ! My husband and I went to Ashley furniture to look for a living room set and we were helped by Derik and he was absolutely great and very helpful. We didnt feel pressured or rushed to make a decision. Odered my furniture and set up a delivery time. They never showed up. I lost time at work. I had to make my own calls to figure it out. Then they want to discount my total. Meanwhile my furniture is gone because I should have my new stuff. Horrible business. I wouldnt waste your money here folks!
I went to the Horseheads Ashley Home Store. I had searched online for the loveseat I wanted. Bill Carson showed me several loveseats, not exactly what I had previosly found but a similar style. I found a perfect color and was very pleased with the individual attention shown. Thanks, Ashley!!
I have had the worst experience ever with Ashley furniture store, Not only have I had to wait a month for my chair but when they called to deliver it,it was another month before delivery an now when I call to confirm delivery no one can find the chair.,, REALLY??? Ashley Furniture is not a place I would recommend to anyone ever. Choose wisely an ask question when you shop for furniture anywhere but avoid Ashley
My father and I would like to thank Lydia Van Atta for her professional, friendly demeanor while I was helping my father look to purchase a recliner. My father is 87 yrs old and Ms. Van Atta took her time to explain everything on each recliner he liked, also to go over the sale papers in a way my father could understand. The price came up different in the computer then what was on the chair and Ms. Van Atta made sure we got the price that was on the chair. We will highly recommend your store but also Lydia Van Atta for a sales person.
My boyfriend and I were a little overwhelmed with looking at everything. Tyreell Strong came over to greet us and was so helpful with directing us to exactly what we were there to look for. He made us feel very comfortable (literally) with finding a mattress. We will definitely be back !

2021-11-23My boyfriend and I came here last night looking for a possible new mattress. The one at home is over due and thought it was time. From the moment we entered we were greeted by a nice gentleman, lance and then our salesman “chris” Christian, took over and made the experience awesome. Who knew there were so many mattress options. Finally, after 20 tries we found the one! We ended up getting a king hybrid and we are both so excited. Thank you for working so hard to get us the best possible price, and being very very friendly and personable. Buying furniture is not considered “fun” but it was a enjoyable time. Thank you for what you do, you are awesome at it. Hopefully see you soon with another purchase!

2022-02-20We went to Ashley looking for the ideal dining room table set. With Chris help (the manager) we were able to find the perfect set. He was beyond helpful in demonstrating adding/removing leaves in the tables we were interested in. He was also patient with our buying experience as we looked over all of our options. He was not pushy nor smothering making our time at the store very comfortable. We had a 5 star experience for sure. Thanks Chris!!

2022-05-15Krista was very helpful pointing my wife and I in the right direction to help us find what we were looking for. She checked in with us periodically without being overbearing. And she even picked up an ottoman and carried it across the store so we could see how it looked with a sofa that we liked! Krista and the manager worked with us on pricing on the sofa, chairs, and ottoman that we ended up purchasing. We were very happy with the whole experience!

I was looking for living room furniture and the sales person (Lance) was not pushy, told him exactly what I had in mind , from size of furniture to the color, and he was very helpful and showed me a different pieces , and even made some great suggestions !!!! ...which helped me with my purchase. He made my shopping experience very easy and smooth. I would definitely recommend somebody looking for furniture to check out Ashley furniture in Horseheads. Great customer service!

2022-03-24Ordered my couch in-person at the Ashley store. I havent gotten it yet as I just ordered today, but as a testament to their costumer service, I would like to state that Josiah was our sales person and he was extremely helpful, personable and knowledgeable. I went to lunch after browsing the store, before making any final decisions. Before leaving, Josiah offered to cover the cost of my lunch if I came back to buy a couch, and he did just that when I returned a few hours later.Once I receive the couch, I will update my review!

2022-01-22Went mattress shopping, Jeff was awesome. We explained we wanted to look then wed find him to answer questions. He respected our request, once we were interested in a particular bed another employee came over and involved himself in Jeffs conversation ,started pressuring us about buying today and delivering even after we explained we were not in any hurry for the bed. I just dont like the pushy salesmen technique

2022-03-15I have to honestly say that buying at Ashleys was a terrible mistake. Not considering that I have to wait six months for my purchase to arrive, now that is in my house the quality is nothing what I was expected or paid for. My sons bunk bed is damage and the mattress is so uncomfortable, nothing similar than the one I tried in the showroom. The customer service said they cannot do anything to replace the mattress and they might offer a discount for the damage bunk bed. This is just plain ridiculous, especially because due to the waiting period, I previously tried to cancel the purchase and they said they needed to charged me the re-stocking fee because they had part of my order. I will never advice to purchase anything in this store.PS. I am putting a one start because I must, not because they deserve it.
