Mike was amazing ! Very informative and patient ! We spent 3 hours finding the perfect living room set and bedroom set . Not one time did I feel rushed or unheard. Mike our salesperson was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and most professional. He helped us find exactly what we were looking for! I would highly recommend visiting Mike in Lake Grove! He provided the attention we needed while also providing us space to make our decision.
I ordered a bed frame offline. The frame was very heavy and not that easy to put together just because of maneuverability and the tiny tools they give you. After about three hours the very last pieces to screw in were the center support beams. The parts were DEFECTIVE, the screw holes did not match up or allow for screws to be screwed in. I called customer service the next day, spent over an hour being placed on hold numerous times by two different reps. After they had both told me that my replacement parts order had been placed, I told them I had not received any email confirmation. They told me to just wait and that the parts may take up to 5-10 business days. Guess what, I still haven’t received a confirmation email (it is now 5 days later) so I guess dispute speaking to three people overall I will have to create my own custom support beams out of wood. I will never shop here again and I will be spreading the word about Ashley’s ripping me off!
Dominick and Marcel were fantastic. They were so patient with us and allowed us to come in multiple times to make sure that we were certain of what we wanted. Thanks to their recommendation to get the adjustable base, I have been sleeping without back pain for the first time in years.
Our shopping experience at the Lake Grove Ashley HomeStore could not have been any better. The sales associate Mike that we dealt with was so great..... helpful, friendly and accommodating. The sectional couch we chose was able to be delivered quickly (ordered on a Saturday and delivered Wednesday morning). After a less than positive experience with another nearby furniture store, Ashley Furniture and Mike really came through for us.
After being in a few different furniture stores over the past couple weeks, we truly thought customer service was dead. That was until we met Kat at Ashley Furniture in Lake Grove, talk about a remarkable experience! Kat, thank you for providing such exceptional service when my wife and I today. You truly are an asset to Ashley Furniture, your customer service and hospitality are world-class. Thank you!
Really great experience purchasing furniture with Dana and Jeff. They were awesome to work with, personable, knowledgeable, and laid back! Made purchasing super easy. Delivery wasnt as smooth as I would like, mainly because I wasnt made aware that some of our items wouldnt be delivered until the next day. I was informed at time of delivery.
Bought a Leather Sofa and Love Seat Recliner set 3 years ago. Spent $3000 plus an extended protection package. Well after 3 years we started noticing wear in the leather in numerous spots. We contacted the Platinum protection company and was denied because they said it wasnt covered. Well to make a long story short, after going back and forth with Ashely’s customer service people, they issued us a store credit of $589 for the sofa and $589 for the recliner set. A store credit is only good for what they have in the store and it is only good for 2 weeks. Well 2 weeks came and went. They expected us to go and buy a new set where it will cost us at least $2000 out of pocket because the protection that we purchased denied the repairs. What a RACKET! We will never purchase from Ashelys again and I highly recommend NOT purchasing the protection upgrade. Its all a SCAM and the Ashley sales people and management know it is. They should be ashamed of themselves especially during these times. So now we sit on a 3 year old worn out leather couch.
We are completely frustrated and NOT satisfied at ALL in dealing with Ashley Furniture and their Warranty company... we purchased a rather expensive dining set just 2 years ago... we purchased the insurance to go with it.... welp... 2 years in and one of our armchairs completely broke... the wood in the seat detached from the frame, and to add insult to injury , our other armchair.... half of the decorative tacks fell out along the front edge...disappointed. This was from regular use... its COVID ...we have had literally NO COMPANY / NO FAMILY PARTIES! Called Ashley to check in on how to make a claim...they sent me to 5starservice.net... OK claim was put in for both chairs...i get a letter (from a company by a compltly different name Platinum Services) stating the one with missing pieces is NOT covered.... WHAT??? But the other chair that is broken is covered for a full replacement... the letter also states I would need to head to New Jersey (we live in Suffolk County Long Island) to get it and wed have to actually go there to redeem the credit!??? WHAT... so I call Ashleys customer services to see if this is accurate because the CS reps at the warranty company are rude and have ZERO answers for me. Welp, after several attempts to get someone on the phone from Ashley who knew how to handle this...turns out my chairs are NOT in stock at my local store, or in the NJ location i was told to go... and are discontinued so after paying for repair insurance were S#!T out of luck I guess... WOW, what a rip off. THOUSANDS spent on a set that is just 2 years old and were getting the run around to get a repair / replacement! NOT good business at all! NEVER purchasing from Ashleys again and letting all our family and friends know it too!
If I could give 0 I would!This place it’s ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS .The stuff is HORRIBLE , rude and non professional .I placed an order of TWO bedroom sets for a total of $8K middle of November , delivery was expected to be December 1st . On December 14th I received my delivery and guess what ? The order for the master bedroom was messed up . How can you put an order in for a bedroom set with no foot board?!Tried to call , went to the store I don’t know how many times .. you know how they fixed the issue ? A they gave me a spring box for free ? Like , really ?What am I supposed to do with a box spring when I’m paying for a bed and I’m not sleeping on it ?!Today it’s February 1st 2022 , I called again since I was expecting the delivery for the foot board this coming Friday and guess what ? They are still waiting for it .FIRST AND LAST TIME ORDERING FROM THIS STORE.STAY AWAY!!!!!!
If your ever in the lake grove area in Long Island. Go see Dana joy from Ashley’s furniture store. She was so amazing and patient. Best of all she wasn’t a pushy sales person. She tended to all our needs and answered all our question. With out a doubt one of the best if not THE Best saleswoman. I’ve been to a lot of furniture stores and just happen to drive by Ashley’s furniture. If it wasn’t for my wife bothering me to check out the store I would of kept driving by. So I decided to give my wife the benefit of the doubt and see what they had to offer. I was blown away the moment I walked in. Everything inside the store and the layout of the furniture was amazing. I can’t wait to buy future things from this store.
My husband and I went to the Lake Grove Ashley’s and we were pleasantly surprised at our experience there. It was Labor Day weekend it was busy we approached a sales associate named Dana B. who was busy at the time she asked if we can give her a few minutes, within minutes she was available. Dana was extremely helpful not pushy at all. She asked us all the right questions and helped us pick out the perfect couch , side table and outdoor couch. When it was time for my husband and I to discuss the purchase/pricing she politely excuse herself and gave us the time we needed to decide without hovering over us. My husband and I discovered that prices were cheaper online and they adjusted the prices right away. Dana was a pleasure to deal with and new our style within a few minutes of meeting us I would highly recommend dealing with Dana if you need anything from Ashley’s.
Me and my fiancé were assisted by both Dom and Marcel. They were phenomenal with helping us with everything. Any questions we had they immediately had the answer for. I would easily go back there for any of my furniture needs and would recommend anyone who is looking for furniture to ask for Dom or Marcel.
Absolute horrible customer service!! They swindle you and have the worst customer service I have ever experienced!!Our couch less then a year old bought Dec 2019 and by Nov 2020 was breaking and our coffee table was scratched we called customer service they then said we will order the piece for the coffee table and when it arrives they will send a tech to inspect the couch to get fixed—I kid you not 5 months and 6 phone calls later the coffee table part arrived. In May the tech comes, couch is clearly broken TECH CONFIRMED it’s because Ashley furniture is held together by STAPLES not screws so it’s bound to break sometime quickly after purchase. He ordered a new piece of fabric and said call when it arrives and we will fix the frame and take the fabric off and check the inside then since it’s clearly broken as well.July, the tech comes and the fabric they sent was literally gashed across the from so he couldn’t take off the old fabric to inspect and fix inside of the couch. He ordered new fabric and said again call and we will come and finish work.I have called and been hung up on 4 different times, they are now saying it’s over the time frame and the ticket is closed and won’t come fix our broken couch….but the reason it’s over the time frame is because of them not having good customer service…they literally REFUSED to send a tech to the house for the couch until the coffee table cover came and now are saying that’s why it’s expired and they should have opened it under a different ticket, so they didn’t open it right but it’s the customers fault??Literally a sham! DO NOT BUY HERE!!!! They are swindlers—we even bought the extra protection plan they convinced us on and when I went to them because of this absurd issue they won’t fix it either because we didn’t report damage soon enough….well how could we report damage Ashley said they were handling????The furniture sucks! Literally staples holding it together cheap cheap cheap! Do yourself a favor and go to Raymond and Flannigan’s may be a little more $$ but after this experience I can honestly say it would have been worth it to not have to deal with this atrocious company! And I work in retail, I have never written a complaint or review in my life but I literally cannot believe this! 6,000 in the drain!
Ive never seen such invasive employees ,from the second we walked in we were hit with multiple questions as to what we were looking for,we just wanted to look around ,Im not exaggerating when I say every 4 minutes the same employee came over and asked us more questions and tried to sell us on whatever we glanced at ,after 10 minutes a second employee did the same song and dance,even when we told them repeatedly we dont need help we just want to look. they kept circling us liking vultures ,after about 15 minutes and 7 conversations with employees we left Ive never had a store actually scare away customers inside.
Very disappointed. I ordered a dining room over the phone, and it came with a dent in the table! I emailed Ashleys customer service the same day and they stopped responding, I called again and nothing. Its been three weeks and I still havent had any luck getting a replacement!
Although there was miscommunication/issues with my initial order placed with Ashley Furniture in Lake Grove, Austin from the online team reached out to me to resolve the issue after the review I wrote on Google. Austin was able to get in contact with the warehouse & supply chain team to ensure the couch I wanted would be delivered as soon as possible to my new place of residence. I was very pleased with Austin since he provided me with constant updates/prompt responses. I appreciate all that he has done! My sofa/ottoman has officially arrived today. I am looking forward to having friends/family stay over our place now!
I had a pleasurable experience with Sales Associate named Dan. I purchased an outdoor seating area. Before I actually purchased the set I went home to make sure it would fit on our patio. While on Ashleys website to double check the dimensions I noticed an additional Memorial Day discount. When I went back to make the purchase I mentioned the discount and he immediately applied it. I would give Dan 5 stars but Im going to wait for delivery, which was promised next week. I will update after delivery is made when promised. Delivery made today 6/11 when promised. The set is awesome! Delivery guys were professional! I have added the 5th 🌟
Today I worked with Dominic one of the sales associates at this location. He was not only extremely helpful but I could tell he genuinely cared about helping me get the right piece of furniture that I am not only happy with but fits well in my apartment as well. I decided on a liftable top cocktail table for my living room, Not only was it in stock but it will be delivered in only four days! Especially in todays day and age when backorder and things being out of stock is commonplace it was extremely refreshing to be able to find something like this. If you are having difficulty at other major Furniture retailers I would definitely suggest visiting this Ashley Home store location you will not regret it!
We just received our couch from the Ashley Home Store in Lake Grove. We originally ordered a sectional from a catalog because they didnt have it in the store. Unfortunately, we didnt realize when we ordered, that it wouldnt fit in our living room. The delivery people took it back, and we went to the store again to find another sectional. Dani, our sales girl was amazing, and very personable. The experience was great right from the start....even with the mistake we made. The delivery men were awesome as well. It snowed , and unfortunately, we live on a hill. The truck got stuck at the bottom of the hill, and they walked the pieces up the hill to our house! I will definitely go to this store again in the future. I will ask for Dani as well. I cant say enough nice things about my experience!
I came in to look at sofas and my sales rep was Henry, he greeted with a big smile and listened to and took into account what i was looking for and showed me what fit that exact criteria. He was patient with me and did not rush me or push me. I left with a few options and came back in the afternoon with my family and together we made the final pick. He spent a very good amount of time with us including my kiddos. We also worked with Mike he was very helpful and informative, overall the staff all worked together and the store was very tidy and well maintained by all as I observed some reps fluffing pillows and placing items back in their correct places. (lots of team work that is so needed during these times.)
Visited a few of the surrounding furniture places but was turned off by the car dealer sales tactics. I decided to give Ashley a shot in lake grove.I was gently greeted by Mike, he ask me what I was looking for. After explaining a little, he guided me to a sofa that I loved and bought on the spot…I’ve seen a dozen couches prior and this was just what I wanted. Thank you Mike!
I found a table I liked and took a picture came back 2 weeks later and the price went up, when I spoke with the manager he first accused me of switching out the display signs up the associate I was working with 2 weeks prior said it was there and then he still wouldnt even honor the price. Needless to say I did not purchase the set and probably wont be back. The price went from $325 to $475.
This is the worst furniture store to deal with. They show you furniture that looks one way and is delivered in entirely different condition. We ordered several rooms worth of furniture. Almost every piece came cracked or broken. Dealing with their repair people has been a nightmare. They do not honor their five year warranty for which we paid extra for. Their customer service is the worst. They fail to document conversations and then claim that we never mentioned the damages. We have better things to doThen deal with this furniture store. The people in the show room can I help you once you have placed your order and you are left to deal with some office in New Jersey that claims they have no information about the damages. They make appointments for service people to come to the house and then no one shows up. We wasted five hours waiting for someone who never showed up on several occasions. We will be placing complaints with the division of consumer affairs for the state of New York.
I wish there was a way to give this 0 stars because one star is too much for the type of customer service I have received I went a placed a large order a whole sectional and a bedroom set they was unable to give me a delivery date for the sectional which I purchased paid in full cash on 2/09/2021 when I finally get a delivery date for only 2 pieces of the sectional when is a 6 piece sectional they tell me the rest of the items are on back order and They can’t give me a delivery date at all the store was supposed to contact me to let me know my item was in back order and no one ever did trying to get In contact with them was a complete and total nightmare I’m so upset when I try to reach the store no one answered me I had to drive there to see what was going on and their answer was they didn’t know my sales person Marcel completely ignored me and refused to help me with anything the customer service young ladies on the other hand where very apologetic and eager to help me find a solution thanks to Hannah and her coworker they was able to cancel my order and hopefully I get a refund soon the manager in this store not once offered any type of assistance. Solution or help at all didn’t even acknowledge the issue at all he was to busy making sure the staff didn’t socialize with one another instead of fixing a customer issue
Was looking around for furniture for awhile...I moved into an apartment with my mom who is battling dementia and wanted to get her a comfortable practical living room set with a sleeper sofa for me.. From the moment we walked into the showroom...Brett greeted us warmly and was very attentive to our needs!!! He is very professional and knowledgable about the products!! My mom was very comfortable with him and he had a tremendous amount of patience with her!! The furniture was delivered in 3 days and it looks great!! We are getting a lot of compliments on it!!! All the people up front were awesome as well!! Thank you Ashley Furniture and Brett in particular!!! He is an asset to your company!!!
My wife and I found a sectional that we liked at Ashley furniture in Lake Grove. We went to near by stores to shop around and found the exact same sectional for $300 dollars cheaper. We went back to the Lake Grove store to see if we really liked it because the other store did not have it on display. We spoke with the salesperson who helped us earlier and asked if they could match the price we found it for at the other store. They couldn’t and what really made the deal fall apart was a snide remark and scare tactics used by the store manager Mitchell Reich who was called over by the salesperson to try and give us an additional 5% off. They lost the sale and a customer for $100!
Quality furniture at a reasonable price and so much selection. Marcel our salesman was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. He didnt put any pressure on us and answered all our questions. Also Mitch the manager was a very big help and a pleasure. Great experience!!
Every moment in store was amazing. The salespersons, Mike and Ariyanna, and manger, Mitch, were wonderful to work with. They all took their time and did not pressure me and my partner to purchase anything until we were 100% sure of what we wanted. Everyone was very knowledgeable and courteous through the entire experience. Would definitely recommend their Lake Grove store! 10 out of 10!
We had the pleasure of working with Jeff, even through the pandemic he was always in touch with us keeping us informed every step of the way. Very personable, professional and knowledgeable. It took longer than expected, i have to say I was in a panic -But I am Beyond pleased with the rooms I purchased and the customer service we received. . We now Need to furnish our basement and will definitely make it a point to deal with Jeff.
Worst customer service I have ever received. I work in customer service and I would lose my job immediately if I provided our customers with the type of service that was give to me. To make a long story short I was interested in purchasing a couch. No one explained throughly the terms of the program they were signing me up for. After they signed me up they gave me a paper with the terms and conditions. When I was reading it I noticed a few things off. I started to question exactly what I had to do and the lady did not like that. She told me it was a bi-weekly payment and that I had to pay it off in full in 3 months. I understood but the numbers were not adding up and I would of had to pay almost $2500.00 for a $799.00 couch. She kept yelling at me “YOU’RE PAYING $53 BI-WEEKLY”. I give you my word I’m not exaggerating. But paying the $53 bi-weekly in 3 months would not pay it off and again I would have to pay $2500.00 for the couch. Her answer was well make more payments and pay it off in 3 months so you only pay $799.00. I was so sick to my stomach the way she yelled at me and did not listen to anything I was saying. I told her to forget it that I will not be purchasing anything and her answer was “well you’re already enrolled in the program.” I said can you cancel it. She told me I need to call the program and cancel it myself. I asked her for the number and she literally walked away from me, my 65 year old mother had to find the pamphlet with the number on it. Most important I got into my car to call and cancel and the lady asked me why they did not cancel it in the store that it was wrong for them to make me go through this process. Terrible people, bad attitudes, and extremely unprofessional. For me to take time out of my day to even write a review, it’s truly important because I’ve never wrote a review until now. I know a great deal of people becoming first time home owners and I will tell each and every one to stay clear of this place as well as my many friends and customers at work.
Ashley Furniture was the only store that could deliver a couch within a week, after trying Bobs and Raymour. Shipping is very delayed due to Covid. However, the reason I was able to get a couch so quickly with Ashley was because I went with a discontinued model that they had in stock. There was no floor model so I wasnt able to try or see it before ordering. The sales rep did a great job showing me other similar couches on the floor for material, color, and feel.Word to the wise: dont take their word for it when it comes to style. Ill be the first to admit that I dont have a good sense when it comes to color. The ottoman I purchased was a floor model that wasnt part of the couch set. The rep told me that they think it will match great with the couch. It doesnt Ashleys return/exchange policy is basically that there are none, so Im stuck with it. While I understand that this is typical for other furniture stores, it certainly doesnt set Ashley apart from anyone else.
Last night was the second time I visited the Lake Grove location, only to be just as pleased with my visit as the first one. I usually dont write reviews but this time its super necessary. I was greeted right away and assisted by Jonathan. He was very personable, driven and interested only in making me happy at all times. We walked the store and he knew every answer to every question I threw out at him. He made sure to give me probably the most exceptional customer service experience I have ever encountered. Its crazy because you never see anyone as passionate about making a customer happy than Jonathan. Jonathan introduced me to Brandi as well to complete my purchase. Brandi bent over backwards for me without hesitation. She had a great energy and made me feel appreciated. Finally after finalizing my transaction with Jonathan Z. who also took the time to make sure I was happy, I realized how hard it is to find people like the team I worked with at Ashley. I hope to work with all of them again in the future. Jonathan, Brandi and Jonathan Z. are a great team, dont ask for anyone else!
As new home owners my husband and I were excited to buy furniture at this store in Lakegrove. But all I can say is that it was a terrible experience shopping there. The sales rep Laura had a disgusting attitude and acted like she was doing us a favor by rushing us to purchase a bed. My husband and I purchased the bed and decided that we needed to cancel the order and when we went to the store and spoke to Laura she walked away and sent someone else over and it was extremely rude.
I had an excellent experience with Ashley’s sales manager Marcel in the Lake Grove NY store. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with my order for Ashley’s Fire pit dining patio set. The pricing was great and he went above and beyond to enable us to have our furniture within a few days. I highly recomend Marcel and Ashley furniture store. Thank you!
William and Victoria were a big help. They were kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable. If you need to purchase any furniture, I highly recommend this location and these sales associates, although all the sales associates were very friendly and knowledgeable. Ashley HomeStore will be my new go to place for all my furniture needs. I have been all over & found exactly what I wanted for my new kitchen townhouse. The salesman to see is Dominic Crafa. I gave dimensions & style and he guided me right through. I will be sending my family and myself only to him! Five Stars wasn’t enough for such expertise and courteous service. Ten stars suffice! My husband and I went to purchase a new dining room set. We worked with Carlie who was both professional and personable. She made the process easy, seamless and stress free. Our delivery is coming Tuesday and we just made our purchase Friday! Not only was the in store service from Carlie amazing but I followed up with her the following day and she responded immediately and was willing to help and provided an unexpectedly high level of customer service. All of my future furniture purchases will absolutely be made through her!
I would never recommend Ashley. Our purchase has been a disaster. Told 4-6 weeks for delivery. Finally received the last piece 4 months later and every piece is damaged. The customer service is horrible and every person in the store knows it and told me so. I have gone back to the store numerous times and they are unable to rectify the situation because once you purchase and leave the store you are at the mercy or their horrible customer support.
The salesman were ok, but one of them forgot to call me back when he said he would check something and then get right back to me. Then delivery took a month and two weeks longer than they said which was a month, so we waited two and a half months. We only had 1 choice for delivery date if not we would have had to wait another 3 weeks. Overall not happy. Hoping couch comes and is in good shape.
Mike at the Ashley’s furniture store in Lake Grove was awesome! He was so helpful and pleasant and made our shopping enjoyable. After spending hours shopping other stores, we wished we went here first. They matched their online pricing and made the whole day worth it. If you visit this store, please ask for Mike, you won’t be disappointed.
Purchased Mattress etc from local store but cant contact local store...deliveries screwed up! 5 wks delivery NA charge me for delivery one was supposed to be no charge and they said sorry we forgot to call me for delivery.. so they tell me you can go pick it up in Jersey when I live on Long Island! So had to take A-day off of work 5wks later to get it!! SO Unacceptable!! Customer service not helpful tell me they have the contact local store. And youre not able to contact a local store yourself..I do not recommend buying from Ashley!! Unless you want a wait 2 months and lose money to get your stuff!!
My husband and I purchased the Eltmann sectional and we LOVE it! The slate color is the perfect combo of dark grey with a hint of navy. Our saleswoman was Gaby and she was absolutely WONDERFUL! She was helpful and knowledgeable without being overly pushy like you find at other furniture stores. She was also super patient with us as it took us 3 trips back to the showroom to visit the couch before finally deciding to purchase. We had a wonderful experience 10/10 would recommend!
Yesterday me and my partner went to buy a couple of things at this store, Shannon was amazing she showed us all the inventory and features of certain beds and we ended up buying things we werent expecting. Being a sales person I rate her 10 stars because she didnt pressure us at all. She delivered a pleasurable and professional experience.Thanks for the great work!!!
My wife and I recently visited the store in Lake Grove, looking for a couple mattresses for a new bunk bed we have. We met Marcel that day who, took such great care of us making us feel so at home with his great personality and knowledge about all the furniture in the place. We were so happy with our experience that we not only bought the mattresses for the bunk bed, but also bought a new sleep system for us. We want to thank Marcel and his Manager for making a normally stressful situation a very enjoyable moment for my wife and I. We will be coming back soon.
This is my very first experience with Ashley HomeStore and I am now a loyal customer! I walked in with my son looking for a bedroom set for him. We were fortunate enough to meet Teressa Cox to assist us. She was so cheerful, sweet, helpful and knowledgeable! She was not a pushy salesperson by any means, which I greatly appreciated since I couldnt give her a definitive answer right then and there regarding my purchase. Upon parting she texted me her digital business card along with the items we looked at and the pricing. When it came time to purchase I made sure to call the store to verify she was there. She took care of 99% of my purchase over the phone right then and there! I went up to the store to finish the paperwork, where I met Frank and Mitch who helped in a little snafu I was faced with. With their assistance and persistence I left the store with my new furniture on order to be delivered in a day and a half!!! I cannot wait to get my furniture tomorrow! Teressa, Frank and Mitch went way above and beyond to help me with my purchase and I couldnt be more grateful! Please seek out Teressa Cox when you visit the Lake Grove location! You will not be sorry!
My boyfriend and I were recently purchasing some furniture for our new apartment. Ashley HomeStore was the nicest of all the nearby furniture stores, but more importantly Brett made our experience so nice and stress free! We were nervous about encountering salespeople but Brett wasn’t pushy AT ALL and he really helped us narrow down what we were looking for. In other stores we kept coming back to how pleasant our experience in the store was and ultimately came back to purchase our furniture. Thank you so much for your help, Brett!!!
DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE. We order a ton of furniture from this store in July. I’m talking over $10,000. We are still missing a piece that we ordered. Two of the pieces that were delivered have issues that we have called about several times and sent pictures. You would expect this from a cheap furniture store or if you buy something used but for a brand new $3000 couch to be missing piece and it not be addressed by the company it is an issue. Also one of the dinning room chair rocks because the legs aren’t the same length. Ashley has done nothing to help and keep blowing us off. Not to mention the in store price for items is way higher than the online price. Shame on you guys for not taking care of your customers.
Carlie was great! We bought a sofa and a couch from her. We shopped for months and were unable to find exactly what we were looking for. She helped us on multiple visits and was able to explain the benefits of different pieces within the showroom. She was very knowledgeable about the inventory and online order options. I highly recommend working with Carlie and buying from this store.
We had an amazing experience with Stevi Starr last weekend! It was by far the BEST in-store experience we ever had! Stevi was so patient, polite and honest while assisting us by providing valuable information, understanding the customer needs and offering options without being pushy. My husband and I walked in just to look and wanted to browse. Brandi was front and center right when we walked in and greeted us right away. She was not over baring and let us browse on our own. She reconnected with us and answered questions we had. She was polite, helpful and super caring of our needs. Great staff! Shout out to Darryl and Neil. Ordered several rooms of furniture late last year, worked hard to get us the best price. Delivery was smooth, couple of minor issues dealt with immediately to our satisfaction. Went back for outdoor furniture this week, cant wait for delivery!
I had a great experience today with Marcel. He really took the time to show me different pieces of furniture both in store and online. He even moved chairs into different lighting to match with other pieces. He has truly wonderful customer service skills. You should ask for him!
Purchased a dining room table at the Lake Grove store today. Table is excellent quality and at a great price; delivery set up/the checkout process was fast and easy. Our salesman, Karoten, was very helpful and knowledgeable and not at all pushy, which was greatly appreciated. I went to another furniture store down the road earlier today and ended up walking out due to a saleswoman following me all over the store and constantly asking me questions the entire time I was there. All of the staff at Ashley were helpful and friendly, but in no way pushy. Very pleased with the overall experience; will definitely come back again!
Initial purchase went well. But about 10 months into owning the couch and chair the fabrics began to wear. I had called the warranty company and they told me to go through the 1 year manufacturers warranty. After attempting to put in my claim with Ashley I hadn’t received a call or email in over a month so I had called back and they cancelled my claim. After making my second claim I was told that within 72 hours I should receive notice on the actions to take but after a week no notice. When I finally called they told me the wear from me sitting on the couch isn’t manufacturer defect and to go through the warranty company they had offered. When I had called the warranty company they denied my request saying it was manufacturers defect. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and their product quality is even worse. I’d be ashamed to sell a product like this.
We were shopping for bedroom furniture for my grandson and we were lucky enough to be helped by Brandi at Ashley Furniture in Lake Grove. She was very helpful and patient while showing us various options. We ended up getting a beautiful bedroom set! Everyone at Ashley was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back again.
I would never recommend this furniture or the store itself (Lake Grove, NY), to anyone seeking to buy furniture. The only reason there is one star above is because I couldn’t write a review without putting one in. The furniture set I purchased on 10/20 (Belcampo) started to creak and sink on the third day after delivery! Every call I made to Customer Service, the store, the store manager (Mitchell), the salesperson (Stevi) was rebuffed or met with a no return policy or a rude reply. Who would want a replacement for faulty furniture? Terrible product, terrible customer service (if it can be called that) and terrible representatives. BUYER BEWARE - DO NOT BUY ASHLEY FURNITURE! COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY, TIME AND EFFORT.
I had a wonderful experience with Shannon she was very patient with my fiancé and I when trying to figure out the right couch that we wanted to get as well as that she had great ideas on what would work with us and also helped us with our application. The store was closing but she was very patient with us as if we weren’t a bother thank you so much for your time your amazing will always come to this store than the one in our local neighborhood ! If you want to pay a $100 delivery fee for the delivery guys to damage your furniture this is the place for you! They cracked our table in 3 places putting it together. Took 3 days and multiple phone calls to get a response from customer service to be told they can send a tech in a MONTH! So now we need to wait for a tech to come to state the obvious that they will need to send a new table. Ridiculous how you can pay so much and be given the run around.
We were greeted by Brett who was awesome! He was not like the usual furniture store salesperson .... he was friendly and extremely helpful! He showed us and demonstrated the temperpedic cadillac of beds!! We will definitely be back for that soon. We came for a sofa and he helped us with zero pressure.We did purchase a sectional which didn’t work ... we came back to the store and again Brett was so accommodating and helpful!! DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM ASHLEYS FURNITURE.Do your self a favor and just google reviews, they all say the same thing. I purchased a very expensive wall unit that was assembled incorrectly and we did not notice until one of the farm doors almost fell on my 5 year old. We have been trying for over a month to get someone to come and correct with no luck. First they say the peices that are needed are shipped from overseas, then they say it takes an average of 4 weeks to get it shipped to us but still nothing has been resolved and we are going on 2 months. Furthermore, once you receive the missing tools they will then schedule a tech to visit. I tried calling Beverly the customer representative who I purchased the furniture from at the store who was extremely pleasant during my purchase to only find out that she lost memory very quickly of who we are and expressed how she couldnt be of any help. Find it funny as she was very quick to remember me when she wanted a review. So here you are Beverly, heres my review. Go to another store you would think that because they are so expensive you would receive great quality. $3000 unit that cant be used. Awesome

If you want damaged furniture, horrible customer service and to be completely frustrated with a company - this is your place!(Disclaimer - I could not find a way to write a review for the Ashley Website and not the actual store but I needed to get this out some how).We ordered new bedroom furniture and 4 of the 5 items we ordered were damaged. I cannot get one reliable person online to help resolve this.Their website does not work as in you cannot see your order history or track shipments (especially replacements). Would not order from them again.
My husband and I were looking for a sectional for our family room. The one I liked on line was too soft. Teresa was extremely helpful. She showed us a set that ended up being a little cheaper. We definitely liked it better. Teresa answered all of our questions and couldnt have been nicer. The same goes for Chandler, who handled our paperwork. All in all, it was a great experience.
I have to say that the service at Ashley furniture in Lake Grove is beyond AMAZING!!!. My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of having Gina work with us in choosing the right furniture for our new apartment. Gina was very welcoming when we first arrived at the store and assisted us the whole time we were there. We had such a great experience with Gina that our whole apartment is furnished with Ashely’s furniture. I couldn’t be happier with Gina she’s patient and stayed way past store hours to help us choose the right furniture. Overall everyone at this location is professional and is truly there to guide you through what can be a frustrating experience trying to figure what goes with what, but they make it so much easier.
We Decided we wanted to purchase new Living room Furniture for our home. Yesterday, 10/24/19 I went to Bobs Discount Furniture store in Lake Grove N.Y. I almost made a purchase but, then decided to go next door to Ashleys Furniture. it was 8pm and I was greeted nicely by the person at the front desk. He advised me to take a look around and someone would be with me shortly. He offered me Water and a snack which I thought was very nice. Brett Surmanek finished up with his customer and immediately introduced himself. He then Asked How can I make your night Great. I thought Wow what a nice person. I was absolutely right. He was Patient, Professional , Knowledgeable about all of the products, kind and listen to what I wanted and how much I was willing to spend. I had the blessed pleasure of working with Mark Russell who not only took care of all my living room needs but when I asked about some dining room desires he was ready. When they didnt have exactly what I was looking for, he didnt push. Mark was able to match every price I found on the website. I can expect my delivery in less then 2 weeks which is perfect since Chrustmas is only a month away. Absolutely a wonderful experience. I will be doing all my furniture shopping needs here at Ashleys in Lake Grove.
I typically don’t spend time writing reviews, but after my recent experience at the Lake Grove location I had no other choice. I recently visited the store in search of a sectional couch. I was immediately approached by a sales representative named Shannon T, (yes- I took the time to ask, as I would never want a negative review to be generalized to an entire store).Shannon consistently interrupted my husband and I mid sentence. Her tone of voice was condescending and avoided making eye-contact throughout our visit. She refused to show us products in the medial to upper price range, despite numerous requests.It is without a doubt that my husband and I will never feel comfortable stepping foot inside of an establishment willing to allow someone to represent their company with such little training.
Fantastic experience. I told the salesman Mark who greeted us at the door what we were looking for, he brought us directly to the couch we had in mind. He was very knowledgeable, not overbearing or pushy. I generally find furniture shopping to be overwhelming and miserable, this experience was the opposite. I would highly recommend Ashley furniture and specifically our salesman Mark. Great price as well!
Our table finish was peeling after only a few months of having it. We spent a fortune on a “worry free warranty”. After calling repeatedly for TWO months because no one will call you back (still waiting to hear from the manager-I called and left 3 messages because I wanted to let me know if my horrible customer service) we were able to pick out a new set that is cheaper, and we don’t even like. But we only had 7 days to find something new or keep what we have...never again would we shop here nor would I ever recommend them! The worst customer service! (Not to mention- the store has called ID, they will choose to ignore you, after calling several times and waiting on hold my husband called from his phone and got right through! Amazing!)
After experiencing big disappointment when dealing with another furniture store, (waiting 8 weeks and no end in sight) we called Marcel at Ashley Furniture in Lake Grove. Happily, he was able to take our order for a complete bedroom set plus a stereo unit over the phone on a Wednesday. He followed up with a phone call the next day to confirm that everything would be delivered on the following Saturday. On Friday, we received a call that they would be delivering the furniture on Saturday and on Saturday the delivery service called to say they were on their way. Jimmy and Walter, the deliverymen, were excellent. We went from extreme disappointment to jubilation thanks to the honesty, integrity and professionalism of Marcel and the Ashley Company.
My Girlfriend and I came to Ashley today to find a new bedroom set. While we werent able to find anything we loved Ronnie D. a sales assosiate spent a ton of time with us and absolutely killed it in the customer service department. He went out of his way to show us the differences and similarities in each set and even priced us out in serval sets to see what wed be paying. He was by far the best sales associate we saw all day and we will be shopping at Ashley again for our couch in a few weeks because of him!
The store was beautiful with a wide selection of inventory. Marcel was extremely helpful and patient, with great knowledge of the whole store! He went out of his way to make my experience a great one! I will definitely be returning to purchase more furniture for my home and asking for Marcel!
My husband and I visited the Ashley home store in Lake Grove Labor Day weekend 2019. We were extremely eager to find new furniture as we are doing some major renovations and wanted to find some things during some decent sales. Upon arrival we were immediately approached by a sales woman named Dawn Punto who initially seemed to be very helpful. We ended up ordering a Queen size Bedroom set inclusive of extra pieces such as an extra night stand and chest so it would be enough storage for my husband and I. Dawn then convinced us to purchase a mattress for the set but when she sold us this mattress she explained to us that in order for the mattress to be under warranty protection we needed to purchase a mattress protector from them which was an extra $300. Although I initially had reservations she explained how great if a deal it was and that it would be in our best interest so my husband and I agreed. About a week and a half later we came back and wanted to find out our options about returning the mattress and potentially changing our Queen set to a King set. Thats when things went to the left. Before we could explain that we wanted to upgrade the bedroom set, Dawn told me that the mattress cover for a mattress that had not even been delivered yet could not be returned because it was taken out of the store. All of which was never addressed upon purchase. It was at that point that I realized that Dawn was more interested in a sale for commision than she was about the customer. I felt completely misled and was totally disappointed that I allowed myself to be bamboozled by her. I left the store immediately because I had nothing nice to say and although I liked the furniture I had purchased, I realized that there was a principle behind all of this and I could not allow myself to be taken advantage of by her. A few days went past and I returned all of the furniture to the store because not only had I felt disrespected I was disgusted at her lack of professionalism. Prior to my return, I did reach out to Ashley customer service and didnt receive as much as a call back. I made a complaint but nothing was done. The young lady I sopke to from customer service over the phone informed me that Dawn in fact had lied about the mattress protection and I did not have to purchase a mattress cover in order to recieve the warranty. Now fast foward to Columbus day, I went into the Ashley home store in Glen cove where I was greeted with humility and respect. The salesman was extremely helpful and was interested in looking out for my families best interest. It was then that I realized that Dawn was even more of a terrible person because the credit in which we opened to purchase furniture was still on hold after it was returned in order for her to keep the commission to the sale. Thank goodness my sales associate was able to have the funds released and we were able to purchase an even better set for a great price. I drove an hour away for better service and got exactly what was deserved as a customer. Thank you Ashley Home Store Glen Cove for your customer service and professionalism. Dawn has ruined it for me at Lake Grove and I will tell all my friends and family the same thing. For great service Ashley in Lake Grove wont do just go out west to Glen cove ask for and you will be pleased.
What a great place to find quality furniture at a great price! Brett’s knowledge of each of the products that the store offered made me comfortable and excited about my experience. He was so friendly and dedicated to help us find the sofa that fit perfectly in our new home. I’m so glad I visited this location!
After visiting several stores in the area, looking to purchase several new furniture pieces for my home. I started to feel very discouraged. If anyone has ever furniture shopped with young children, this is not an easy task. I truly, can not say enough amazing things about the store and the superb service I received. Typically, four kids is enough to ward off anyone wanting to sell you something. I was pleasantly greeted, as my youngest son was starting to have the common 2-yr old time for a nap breakdown. Without hesitation, Spencer introduced himself and quickly gave full attention to my son and tears became laughter.Not only was I able to find everything I needed, he was very patient and knowledgable. He was very straight-forward and honest. Spencer was understanding of what was important to me and what would work best.In the end he was able to go with the flow and handle four sets of tiny fingers like a seasoned pro, speaks volumes. His ability to pay attention, when I was simply talking out loud. Truly, is what sets him a part.
As soon as I walked through the door I felt at home. :-) Robert greeted me and asked if I needed any assistance. I had already researched the website and knew what I wanted, and Robert knew exactly where to lead me. He and his peers were very patient with me while I got my financial affairs in order for my purchase and once everything was set in place, Robert had all the documents ready and waiting. He was very thorough in explaining all about the brand of sleeper sofa I bought. I had an abundance of questions to many different items and Robert was on point with his responses. He took his time with me, I didn’t feel rushed or pressured. They offered me cold water and snacks. They allowed me to charge my phone while I waited. To me, little things DO count! Customer Service is horrible. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I purchased, paid set up delivery. Piece was damaged when it arrived. The driver took pictures and called supervisor Carlos. Carlos puts me on the phone and hes telling me that its not damaged its just a touch up over a knot and I could be charged for a redelivery. I sent pictures to customer service and they agree its damaged and it will redeliver for free. Being i really didnt want to take another day off from work they said theyll put me on the later delivery schedule. I get an email today and told Im in the first earliest block for delivery. I call customer service and they tell me theres nothing they can do. I try to call Ashley Store in Lake Grove on Middle Country Road where i purchased it and it goes directly to Customer Service. They have to call the store for me. When I got the store on the phone all she said she can do is cancel the order and refund my money. They are only interested in selling after that there is no customer care. Avoid Ashley in Lake Grove on Middle Country Road at all cost!

If you go to this store to shop for furniture, ask for Brett. He was amazingly patient with me and my indecisiveness, and took me through the process painlessly. If you are not sure what you want, he will help you figure out what style suits you. Upon arriving home after my purchase, I looked at the website for the store and saw some pieces had a lower online price. One text to Brett, and happily matched the online price without any complications. His customer service is top notch.The store itself has many different styles on the floor. If you dont see anything that suits you, they have a screen in the store with more options. It is also very easy to apply for credit as well. Go check them out!
I have never left any reviews before but I had to say something. Mark was one of the biggest joys I have ever worked with when it came to buying furniture. This is my 3rd time shopping and every time it has been a game between myself and the salesperson but the level of integrity and honesty at this store has to be noticed. We were in the market for a new bed and looked at a few other stores in the area. I was really impressed with the prices and selection at Ashley and Spencer could not have been more helpful. He took the time to show us everything we wanted and answered all of our questions (and we had a lot). We are very happy with our shopping experience and will definitely be asking for him when we need furniture again.
I came into the store looking for a small table to store some of my books and a couple plants. The guys at the store immediately noticed that I needed some help and came over to ask me what they could do. They were very attentive when I described the type of look I was going for and the dimensions I was working with. Within 20 min of stepping into the store, we had found a table that fit my specifications. This was hands down the easiest furniture shopping I have ever done.
Mark was so incredibly helpful and patient! We went shopping for a living room set. He guided us throughout the show room, he was knowledgeable about all items, even how firm the couch cushions were (incredibly helpful)! We had our one year old son in tow, and Mark was very kind and patient as we walked around. He helped us curate the perfect living room set and we could not be happier! Received a letter from Ashley FurnitureNo down payment No minimum No interest for 72 months. Was lied to and tried to pull a fast one. Without going into to much detailthe package I picked sofa love seat 3 tables and 2 lamps with a 600 dollar 5 yearWarranty. Price rounded off was $6000.00Just $83.00 a month 6 years. Checked Ashley on line everything I wanted to purchase on line was $1200.00 cheaper even with that ridiculous $600.00 warranty. Went into the store and they told me someone had to pay for the interest free financing. So its notInterest free is at least 1200 dollars added to the bill if you 72 months. On line I found three places that sold the exact same items and brought them into the store to show them the prices and left them the print out for all.Bottom line with out the 600 dollar warrantyI could purchase exactly the same items for2000 dollars cheaper with 36 months no interest then Ashleys 72 months no interest or 1000 dollars cheaper then there 12 month no interest. So all I have to say is BUYER BEWARE. This is the Lake Grove Store.You would think I would get a phone call from that person who lost a six thousand dollar sale but because he lied I bet the guy who cancelled my order he wouldnt and even gave him my cell number to call me. Being honest would have gone a long way.
We have been looking for a bedroom set for a while and have struggled to find what works for us. However, Marcel put our minds at ease. His knowledge and expertise is phenomenal. He was very patient with us throughout the entire process! Also, Steve was very friendly at the counter as well. Ask for Marcel you wont be disappointed!
I got amazing service from Bret. He was halpful in finding my dream bedroom set. The price was a little out of my range so he asked the manager Dawn and she was nice enough to LOWER the price on the spot. I am sooooo satisfied with their service . Only gave 2 stars because the salesman was extremely nice and very personable...well the manager did not like the fact that he was talking to us about anything other than a sale!!!!! Super rude manager! We ordered a mattress and bed frame....was supposed to be delivered between 7am and 11am. The delivery driver called at 6am saying we are outside.. no big deal. The men come, set the bed up, an hour later say okay-all good. WELL sat on the bed and the whole bed fell apart!!!!!!!!! Had to call them back and they put it back together...although am still afraid its not 100% put together correctly. Called Ashley later that day and they gave us the delivery fee back but they didnt seem too fuss about the delivery driver NOT setting up the bed right.......Never again will I go to Ashley! Not worth it.
Gina and Brandy are fabulous when you have the abilities to sell to a person a mattress when they are looking for a couch you are great at what you do. Super helpful great customer service. I definitely will come back and buy more furniture and recommended to others.
This has now been the 4th time we have used Ashley and we went back to see Mark every time. Mark makes us feel right at home, shows us the whole show room, he takes his time and answers every single question we have and we have a lot. He makes us feel right at home, never ever felt the pressure of a sales pitch as we recommend him to anyone who is in search of furniture. We are so lucky and thankful for Mark and the rest of the team at Ashley. We actually followed him from the old Patchogue Store. Gabby, at Ashley Homestore, is awesome! I have been looking for accent chairs for weeks and unable to find any that I liked. She was able to find 2 velvety, perfect sized, comfortable chairs on the website. They are a great price. She was more concerned that I found what I was looking for than her pocketbook. I walked into Ashley’s HomeStore with a very vague idea in mind of what I wanted. I shared my issues and concerns with both Tina and Marvin as to what I was looking for in a bedroom set. After expressing all my concerns of what kind of set I wanted they were able to exceed my expectations of service. I walked out extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend purchasing you’re next bedroom set or home furniture here! Ask for Marvin or Tina and you won’t be disappointed!
We ordered a couch and ottoman on September 7 2020.it is now November 16th and still nothing! I finally called at the beginning of november , 1st they couldnt find my order and then was told it was backordered! You would think that the salesman would have called...NOPE. I went into the store and was told due to covid, I said they told me on the phone it was backordered?!?! I was then told basically tough.they MIGHT get it to me in december.we have thanksgiving and no place to sit for 4 months! Called today still waiting for a call back.the salesman was rude, got into a political conversation.we are turning our whole house and I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN. OH AND STILL NO FOLLOW UP CALL FROM THE SALESMAN.SO THERE MOTTO IS IF YOU PAID IN FULL AT TIME OF PURCHASE YOUR A FOOL
I came here to buy a new mattress after moving to a new home and needed a upgrade and was kindly greeted by this gentleman Fabio. He was super kind and helped me pick out the best mattress expecally for my back pain and a pillow along with it for my neck. The services was amazing and made me feel at home. Highly recommended.

Always a pleasant experience when my family and I visit Ashley at lake grove. To begin, the salesman are always so inviting and accommodating. We never feel pressure when searching for the perfect furniture, and pieces for our homes. I remember the first time I went into this store with my aunt, it was a Monday evening, and they were past closing time. Yet Tony and Marvin stayed and stuck it through with me as I debated between beds for my very first apartment. Moreover, when I finally decided, I couldnt of been happier and statisfied even until this very day. It was crucial and very significant to me to find the perfect fit hence this shopping experience for my very first apartment on my own. I was just at Ashley Lake Grove store and and the manager and the sales rep I dealt with are liars, who just wasted my 30 mins. I bought 2 pieces of furniture last Sunday in which I paid over 90$ extra compared to Ashley furniture online prices. So when I called them yesterday about getting a nightstand with a discount of 90$ they said no problem just come in. So today when I was at the store the attitude of the manager and sales rep was the opposite which basically they said we screwed you. They lied and wasted my time. I will also be filling a complaint with BBB as well. This is not about money, this is about wasting peoples times and lying.
I went into this store twice to do some comparison shopping for a new bed. The first time I went in, the sales associate Vince wouldnt let me get a word in edge wise. He kept asking me if I wanted to work there. I kept rejecting him and trying to keep him focused on the options I had but he wouldnt let up.I returned there for the 4th of July thinking I might get a better deal. This time I talked to Gary (I believe). First, he seemed so unsure of everything he was saying. Second, he showed me one, just one, mattress and box spring before asking me if I wanted to start the paper work. He also kept trying to force a 6 piece bedroom and furniture set on me. I repeatedly told him no thank you and that I was just comparison shopping at this point. His response was to try to sell me a warranty and sign me up for a credit card. I get you want to make a sale, but he was so transparent about it and didnt listen to anything I said.If you go in there dont be fooled by older than dirt sales tactics. Ill never be going back there again
We had a great experience purchasing our new loveseat from Ashley Home Furniture. My children were offered snacks, water and a place to watch a movie (as soon as we walked into the store). Everyone was very nice and we were not pressured to purchase anything we didnt need. We were given time to walk around alone to look at furniture. When we needed help, someone was nearby to help.
Had a wonderful experience buying a mattress and bedroom set at this location with Brandi and Jason who were very knowledgeable, nice, helpful and patient! They answered all of our questions and we got a great deal too! I highly recommend working with Brandi or Jason at this Ashley Furniture location and will definitely come back here again for our future furniture needs!
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, Please folks, beware of this company, ASHLEYS especially the assistant manager MARCEL. so rude the employees laughed in my face when i told them the issues with furniture and refused to help me whatsoever. they will steal your money in return for FAULTY furniture and pretend they care about you just to make a sale and then avoid you so they dont have to warranty it. I spent over 5000$ and the store manager lied saying he would bundle all my new home furniture and throw in insurance on everything come to find out 6 months into my purchase, he no longer works there i have videos and photos to prove the shady characters who they hire at ASHLEYS Lake grove, ny I will make sure no one ever shops there again
I recently purchased a bedroom set. The person helping us was named Spencer. He was very helpful and didn’t hover over you as you were browsing. Any questions that you needed he was there to answer them. I recommend when you go into this Ashley’s to ask for Spencer. You will not be disappointed and he is willing to got he extra mile to help you.
Brett was a very insightful trusted advisor at this location. I never needed to ask for space so I could browse without any sense of pressure to buy something. That was something that stood out from the beginning. He was able to work and see the vision I had in mind with what my space in my apartment.
My fiancé and I had a wonderful experience! We worked with Mark Russell in Lake Grove and he was the best! He ran around the whole store with us and was so patient and kind. We needed everything for our new apartment and he had all of the answers! Marcel Birthwright helped on find the perfect television stand and took the time to show us pictures and things from an online tv stand on their computer screen. He was also so helpful and patient with us. He helped us apply for a credit card and was able to give us all of the numbers and information we needed. We couldn’t be happier with these two or our experience at Ashely’s! Thank you! Definitely ask for these two if you are in the Lake Grove store :)
My Fiance and I Went in to purchase a big part of the furniture for our first apartment and we were greeted by Gina, She was extremely helpful at guiding us to pick the right furniture for our place and she was really friendly and knowledgeable which made us feel more comfortable with our purchase. Would definitely recommend this location and to ask for Ginas help.
Furniture and price was great, but the customer service here was awful. We purchased a rocker from them, picked a delivery date, and thought all was well. I then get a call two days before my scheduled delivery saying that they didnt have the item in stock. I called customer service, who told me when the item was coming back in and said they were going to set up delivery for me a week from the original date (a Saturday) and that they were going to look into getting me a refund on my delivery. I then get NO call back. I get a call several days later from the store we purchased from saying that if I want a weekend delivery, Im going to need to wait until the end of the month (more than a month after I purchased the item). I asked about a refund on my delivery charge and got no response. I then called back later to schedule delivery, they were unable to get me in for a weekend, and so I scheduled for a weekday. Still no word on a refund. Called customer service again, and Im waiting on a response. Im thrilled that we didnt waste the extra money on the service plan, because clearly the customer service at this place is useless.
I had came to this location after having someone chase me out of Raymour across the street. I wanted to go home but I just needed to finally get this out of the way. After coming in I was greeted by Fabio who gave me my space and was always there to inform me when I had any questions, the patience of a saint. Me and my wife spent about an hour and a half looking for end tables and this was the only store that did not try to kick me out or completely ignore me because it was a small sale. Even though I didnt buy I will always come back here for when I do decide to purchase and always ask for Fabio.
The Lake Grove Ashley Furniture was one of the WORST experiences of my life. Sure they sell furniture fast with great customer service, but the delivery was a COMPLETE DISASTER. Once the delivery was a failure customer service completely dropped the ball & kept me on hold for hours throughout the 2 days after my furniture was supposed to be delivered. The store could not give me any type of discount & sadly I still am unsure where my furniture is. I DO NOT recommend going here. BOBS was wonderful & will be where I do any future shopping :)
Went to Ashley in Lake Grove and was greeted by a lovely young lady Bridget. Walked us around and when we couldn’t find what we wanted Bridget asked for assistance from Dawn. Both saleswomen were very polite and helpful. We found a dresser and ordered it.when you are there ask for Bridget.
I purchased furniture at the Ashley Furniture Store in Lake Grove, NY for a house that i have not moved into yet. The furniture (a couch and 2 recliners) have never been used except to test them when they were delivered, as required. The tags are still on all the furniture. I even bought a $300+ for a 5 year warranty and paid $200 or $300 plus in insurance for delivery, in case anything happened...which is ridiculous! I am about to move into my house and feel the furniture is way too big for my living room. I called and asked if it could be returned because it hasn’t been used and the tags are still on them. I got a big NO. I even would have even been happy with a store credit...another big No. If I sell it privately, they will not transfer the warranty to the new buyer! I won’t be buying from Ashley again, which is too bad...I like their furniture.
I went in to the Lake Grove store to buy two dressers. Got no sales help. Looked online, since they had nothing in the store, found something that looked like the color I needed. When it finally got delivered a week and a half later the dresser was almost black with a black marble top. None of this was visible in the online picture. The second The Delivery Man left my house I called customer service and told them this was not what I wanted. I asked them to come back and get them and give me an exchange for a lighter dresser. I wasnt even asking for my money back. After being on the phone with them for 8 straight hours they blatantly refused to help me. Thankfully I was able to sell them to a friend and got much nicer dressers at Raymour and Flanigan who will deliver them in one day and who will take them back if I dont like them. I will never shop at Ashley Furniture again. They are only interested in getting rid of their ugly furniture at your expense. Do yourself a favor and stay away.
Beware!! I bought a sectional with extra pieces, end tables, an entertainment center and some decorative poufs from the lake grove store, the sales guy was very nice, we spent ALOT of money in the store! The delivery came and the impatient guys wanted me to sign off before even looking everything over and even had a rep already on the phone asking if everything looked ok so they could go. I noticed they put the doors on backwards on the tv unit and that the wood looked warped. The rep on the phone was telling me that was they way it normally looks, I said no way and I didn’t like it. He said he will send a tech but they couldn’t come for 2 weeks!!! Now I spent $500 on just the service contract so now I’m seeing how that was a waste of money having to wait that long for service. Never did he say I had to put back on truck or Its non returnable. After they left I looked at it more and realized how poor quality it was and I called customer service cause I wanted to exchange it for something else and was willing to pay to do so in which a girl named “Princess” got on the phone and basically told me that it’s mine now and there nothing that can be done. She was incredibly harsh and rude!! I called the store to speak to mgr. he would not answer the phone and told his employee to tell me I had to call customer service. So I called back again asking for a supervisor in which I was told I would have to leave a message and that it would take days for a return response. How ridiculous!! They delivered a defective poor quality entertainment center and now I’m stuck looking at this forever. I’m so beyond upset! I was planning on buying from Ashley again soon since we just purchased a new home but I will never ever buy again from them. I’ve already filed complaints with BBB and consumer affairs!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!! Go to Raymore Flanagan they were excellent with my new dining room set!!
My husband and I just bought our home and we had a long list of things we need for our future home and only a few weeks, not mention, only a few dollars, to work with. We walked into the store and we were greeted by a very sweet and warm woman named Tara. The first thing she did was make us feel like there is nothing we can’t accomplish and helped us put us at ease by explaining all of our options for furnishing our home as well as financial possibilities. A huge pet peeve I have is being bothered by a pushy salesperson. To my surprise, Tara didn’t make us feel like she was pushing us into anything. Instead, she made us feel like we were shopping with a friend for fun and advice. For over an hour, she walked us through store to show us everything we could possibly need and during all of this, made it a very personal experience by listening to us, remembering our names and relating to us anyway she could. We did leave the store without purchasing anything for now, however we will be back when we are ready in the near future. Thank you again Tara!!
We were in desperate need of a new couch and decided to go check out Ashley Furniture...Had an idea already from looking online and wanted to go in person to see it and possibly purchase a couch and loveseat..We were greeted by Mark Russell, who was very pleasant. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping us with our choices...Needless to say we purchased the couches and 3 tables...I would recommend Ashley furniture and of course Mark Russel to anyone i know that is looking for furniture! Just when my boyfriend and I thought furniture shopping would be hell, Spencer made this the most amazing experience for us. He listened to our needs and worked with us to get everything that we absolutely needed for our home. He was the best; my bf and I couldnt be anymore thankful to have crossed paths with him! I can definitely say hes great at what he does.
I purchased a table from them. They talk all that stuff saying how they are the best furniture place to buy from and I really liked the table but when they delivered it to my house the 2 guys that delivered it looked clueless and had so much trouble putting it together. They damaged it trying to force pieces together then they told me that no one showed them how to put this on model together. So to avoid more damage I told them to leave and I put the table together. Before they left the called their superior and explained what happened then the lady on the phone wanted to talk to me and offered me some money back since my table is now damaged. I never got the refund mentioned and now they are telling me that they got me a new table and waiting for me to schedule a time to have them deliver it but I dont want anything from them again and dont want them sending 2 more guys who dont know what they are doing and damage my house and my furniture more. Went to the store and asked them about it and they said that I will never see anything other than a replacement. The people working there told me that Ashleys have the worst customer service and that other locations would make sure customers are happy and honor what they promise and therefore Im not buying anything from there again!!!!!!
My husband and I walked into Ashley Furniture to kill some time before we had to be somewhere on a Saturday evening. Wed been looking for a kitchen table for a while now and figured it was worth a shot. We walked in and immediately Spencer greeted us, letting us know his name, that he was there if we needed anything and that he wouldnt follow us around because he hates that ... I immediately loved that because that drives me crazy. A little later he found us and simply asked what our favorite thing we had seen was ... Next thing we knew we were having a serious conversation about how we could make this table (and the $$) work for us. Spencer was a pleasure to work with and it was obvious that he had our best interest in mind. We left that night without the table, but returned the next day, asked for Spencer and made the purchase. He was genuine & honest with us and we couldnt have asked for anything more. We love our table and in the future, I would absolutely go back to Ashley and make another purchase, because of Spencer.

I just want to say John was an excellent help today. My boyfriend and I was simplying going for size measures of a Queen and King size bed for our apartment. The moment we walked in , he greeted us quickly and friendly. He asked questions about what we were looking for to get an idea of what to show us. Let me tell you, we were decorating our FIRST APARTMENT EVER, so we had no idea what to buy and what was good. John walked us through everything. We started off with Queen beds and he let us try the difference softness. Very sanitary by the way with the pillow covers for each customer.. Then he explained how important a good bed is even for your health, to help with snoring. John really cares about his customers if he is trying to simply help you breath better while sleeping and showed my boyfriend Marcelo different positions to set the bed to help with that. He ended up hooking us up with a sweet deal for a tempur-perdic bed that goes up ! He then showed us around the whole area to get a look for couches and sets. He helped explain all the prices and which is a better deal. He recommended their finance plan that works over the timespan of 5years ! Long story short... John is a great guy that took the time of his day to help a young couple get settled on their feet. He is very friendly and has some good jokes ! He understand budge and quality, also feed us some great spinach chicken wraps! I highly recommend John for any customer, he is more than just an employee trying to sell you furniture, he is like an uncle looking out for the best deals!
After years of struggling with a nasty broken mattress me and my girlfriend went here to pick up a cheap mattress learned that we were able to get no-credit financing fast and walk out with an affordable top of the line mattress while keeping cash in our pocket. Tenisha was extremely professional and knowledgeable and Frank was fast with processing the paperwork between the HQ and the local store. They offered us water and snacks while we waited and made us feel really comfortable through out the process. Definately recommend stopping in for your next furniture visit.
Buyers Be Aware..They take your money / you have to deal with the warehouse and delivery people which is out of state in N.J. Good luck when there is a problem with the furniture which is very poor quality.The showroom furniture is in perfect condition its not the same when it comes to your house. The delivery guys have NO TOOLS but they try to fix your damaged furniture like hammering something loose with a box cutter etc; My entertainment center came to me damaged and the delivery guy tried to fix it and cracked the leg. We have made several attempts to get this corrected and its been one damage piece on top of another. Its been 4 months now and it still is not resolved.Manager ( Melanie) in N.J. warehouse/delivery did not help me or return my phone calls. I got desperate for some kind of help. I called the Ashley Furniture Store in Lake Grove Long Island N.Y. where I bought it hoping for help being that they were the ones that sold me the furniture. I spoke with the Manager (Deena) she had an attitude and was not helpful at all. I will NEVER go back to that store again.....
It was our first time at Ashley furniture and we couldn’t have been happier. Mark Russell made our experience painless as we were shopping with a 4 year old! We didn’t anticipate to purchase anything right away but ended up leaving with a new 8 piece bedroom set. Thank you Mark!

We shopped around at other store but came back to Ashley simply cause we love the service that she provided. I went in to check out some living room furniture that I need to purchase for my condo in Florida and wanted to order ahead of time.BRANDY was my sales person, and even though this transaction was NOT going to enrich her (becuase Id be buying it through a store in Kissimmee Florida) she was amazingly cheerful and helpful and we found exactly what I needed, and I purchased it online an hour later at the FL store for delivery in May!Kudos to BRANDY for making the task simple, painless, and pleasant! I couldnt be more happy with the service provided by Ashley HomeStore! We ordered a couch a few days before Christmas and unfortunately they wouldnt be able to deliver until next week. ITS ALOT BUT IT MAY HELP U IN THE FUTUREReally horrible experience with Ashley in general. Purchased a sectional which was delivered a week later. The delivery guys stained 4 spot on 2 different pieces of the sectional. 1st mistake❗️I didn’t thoroughly inspect the furniture before signing the delivery paperwork. Advice : check it once, check it twice, even have another family check it.. they delivery guy will rush you but f them they have to wait till you sign off...So after finding the stains about 30 mins later I call the store to let them know, they said once it’s delivered and I signed off there is nothing they can do and it becomes a warranty issue. I say ok no biggie that’s why I bought the $299 5 year warranty. I contact customer service, explain to them the current situation and see what my options are.. At this point I was a little aggravated but was like ok let’s see where it goes... 2nd mistake ❗️Not having the warranty throughly explained... In a nutshell this is how it works.. Ashley’s cs orders the damaged part to your home ( which takes a 7-10 days if the parts are in stock). When the parts arrive you have to call them back and schedule an appointment for a tech to come and repair or replace all damaged parts ( which takes another 7-10 day if ur lucky ). Back to my story.. So I call for an appointment, they have nothing available till 2/9/2019.. mind you it’s 1/12/19 and the parts will be delivered 1/15/2019.. Now I’m fuming 😤.. A brand new sectional that I didn’t even damaged is going to take a month to be repaired.. ⚠️⚠️⚠️Moral or the story.. don’t get f’d by Ashley’s..
I ordered a bed set in Nov 12ishthe guy gave me a heads up that its on backorder, so it wouldn’t arrive until Jan 11. He assured me how “on top of everything he was”, and I would hear from them the week of, and if any dates would change. January comes, and I haven’t heard a peep from anyone. It took forever and a day to get an answer of the ETA, which was now Feb. 27. I asked the manager (Samantha I think) if anyone had this bed set, she said she’ll get back to me right away. 2 days go by and nothing. When I tried calling back, she wasn’t in. I had to call every nearby Ashley’s myself.As February approaches, I am hoping to hear some type of confirmation! I would like comfort knowing that Ashleys still knows I exist.

2022-03-05What a disappointment in this store. After purchasing close to 5,000$ worth of furniture and anticipating the delivery with excitement, we were so disappointed. The love seat and matching recliner couch were stiff as a board. The end tables are so flimsy. The ones we sat in at the store did not feel like this at all. Right after it was delivered we called the store to explain my husband had recent back surgery and this was making his back feel worse. We wanted to exchange for a different set. We were told to call customer service who then advised us that anything purchased in the stores was not returnable. If we had ordered on line we would have had 72 hours to return. We spoke to two Manager’s who said they would call us back either way and try to get the set picked up. We spoke to our sales person who said she would call us back and never did. Buyer Beware, read the fine print even though the website says you can return , each store us Independently owned.

2022-02-18Well, Ashley impressed me at Christmas time when 2 days before company arrived, a chair collapsed to my old dining room set, leaving me with a guest without a seat! I made a quick trip to Ashley and they set me up with table and chairs to replace the broken one. This is where the 2 stars come from. The good news was they could get the chairs for the set delivered to me in 2 days! That was perfect! The guests would have a place to sit! Fantastic! But what about the table! Ah, thats the bad news! You see Ashley would have to construct the table! We wouldnt get the table before February! So that explains why the stars dropped to 2, since I have the chairs, and no table yet for this set! If the table shows up in the next 10 days, the number of stars will increase, but if it doesnt, well you will all get to see what happens in March. I will fill you in when this story ends and you all can judge for yourselves how good Ashley can be.

He also let us walk the store on our own after showing us some options with us which is always nice. All in all a great experience again at Ashley’s and with Matt’s help we will have our new kitchen table soon.

He was knowledgeable and listened to exactly what we were looking for and helped us pick the perfect addition for our house! 2022-01-09So disappointed with the two items I purchased. Within two months of buying the pieces they each had issues. The first item was denied any protection (so glad for the protection plans) since it was stated issues were due to wear and tear. So I guess Ashley’s quality does not hold up past two months. The second piece was approved to be repaired and is awaiting hardware to attach one of the doors. For over 3 months I have been getting emails that the part still hasn’t shipped. After speaking to customer service and I was told they can’t see into the future about when the parts will be shipped and there is nothing that can be done except wait. I’m so annoyed that each of my new pieces are broken! Avoid purchasing from Ashley. It’s not worth it.

2021-12-29Shopped at the Lake Grove location. The sales person that we worked with was Jeff P. He was very pleasant, courteous, and attentive to our questions. Totally professional. He answered all of our questions promptly and we did not feel rushed at all! He did not hover around and instead allowed space and time for private discussion. He actually encouraged browsing around and explained the differences and similarities between items in which we were interested. We did make a purchase and Jeff provided detailed explanation of what to expect at time of delivery.

2022-01-25On Sunday 1/23/2022 my wife and I visited Ashley HomeStore looking for a new living room set, we had been looking in other stores and online for a couple of weeks and found something we were interested in.We saw that Ashley carried the items we were interested in so we went in.Right away we liked the place because we werent attacked at the door like many other places. When we finally asked for help we had the privilege of meeting Dominick Crafa.Dominick took all the time we needed to to make sure everything was worked out to our satisfaction giving us every possible choice he could.We havent received the items yet but do not anticipate any problems.I give Ashley and Dominick 5 Stars.
