Little to no care for any of the sea animals in glass cases, I am a proud seafood eater but it’s just sad looking at frogs and crabs in some of the dirtiest cages you could ever look at. Doesn’t help that it smells like dead animals.
Hands down the best asian market in WNY. They have a fantastic selection of everything asian—imported foods, hard-to-find fresh vegetables and kitchen supplies. I truly love this place and visit it anytime i need asian ingredients. with all that being said, its does smell like an asian market so be prepared.
We love the Asia market, but you do have to know Asian food or you will be overwhelmed. Great prices on herbs - we always buy a huge package of cilantro. Awesome frozen section for steamed buns, dumplings, etc. Check out the back housewares area.
I usually shop Asian products from Toronto. But During covid, border was close for awhile and found this Jem. bit pricey then Toronto Markets. But great noodles collections. Fresh Fish market 🐟 🐠 🍤 🦐
I am so excited that I found this heavenly market! I am from NYC and markets like this were my go to place when I wanted ramen or snacks. I moved to Buffalo and was so sad that there was no supermarkets like in NYC in buffalo but thank goodness I was able to find this place. I go to UB, which is an 8 minute drive to this market and I wanted to see if there were any stores and I wasn’t expecting A HUGE BEAUTIFUL SUPER SUPERMARKET that made me shed tears. It’s so clean inside, so big, friendly staff, fresh seafood, huge variety of Asian snacks and drinks, this is my favorite place ever and I am glad that I finally found this supermarket. I wish they had fresh tuna though, that would make me super happy if they did but it’s okay, this supermarket made my day. Thanks!!!!
Finally made it out here, and I am glad I did. Located at the old Walmart in the Home Depot plaza on Niagara falls Blvd. I came looking for a certain type of egg rolls. I didnt find them here, but I did find a bunch of other things. I will be back, but right now. I am on the internet, looking up recipes for all the Asian food I am about to cook.
This had so many different areas, live lobsters and a large variety of Asian items including woks and other cooking items. Great selection of food.

Lots of good food. Some interesting food and a lot of food I cant pronounce. Eventually I will learn one or two of the heroglyphic letterswords. All in all a great place. I wish they had more labeling in English so I could decipher what I am buying. Oh and you can get some really large live bullfrogs.

I will rate this 4 ⭐ s as I could NOT FIND the bakery??? I noticed on website that it says on site bakery goods, and or it shows a bakery glass case with baked goods on inside?? Where is the bakery? I saw everything else, fish section,meats, frozen, grocery section and even noodles... But no bakery? I saw baked goods that come in boxes, when you first walk in..but no bakery /: I settled for some boxed moon cakes which I will try later. Other than that, I am happy always coming here and shopping. I always spend over my limit, around $100 each time and honestly this Asian market is by far way cleaner than others Ive been too.Decent section of snacks, candies, chips, noodles, vegetables, fruits, and other meats/fish/household.Next time Ill ask and see if there is a bakery there or not?
I love the variety of goods here. I am a beginner in Asian cuisine, so some times I wish I had an interpreter as many packages have minimal English. Have been several times and always enjoy my time here.
My favorite Asian market in Western New York! Such a wide variety great products and helpful staff. The seafood section is amazing. My next purchase is going to be one of their traditional tea trays
Ive visited here since it opened and it only keeps getting better! It shares a large parking lot with Home Depot, but on opposite sides from each other, so parking is ample. The front doors are automatic and the aisles wide so it is wheelchair friendly. There is a public bathroom on premise and a recently added Mango Mango dessert cafe for fresh made sweets and teas in the front corner. The store itself is giant, definitely the largest Asian store Ive been to in the area. Its grown since it started, so theres now a large fresh grocery, frozen section, fresh fish I believe, and a variety of candies and snacks, ramens, bulk beans, grains, spices, nuts, sauces, and even things like pottery, chairs, cooking utensils, and household items. Theres a huge variety of types of food, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Hawaiian, etc. Staff has always been helpful. I would love to see an expansion of more beauty items and I selfishly wished more things were labeled in English. Overall, its such a great gem of a place in WNY Im genuinely surprised its not busy every time I visit. Definitely recommend stopping! 😊

BE AWARE of this place!!!! The last few times I shopped here was very disappointing!!! Make sure u check the items you buy somehow cashier will add expired items in your grocery’s item and added to your bill and hopefully you won’t notice until you get home! Secondly half of the stuff in the shelf’s are expired or contaminated with bugs like the bag of rice!!!

Not exactly what I was expecting, prices are a little higher than expected, but then again.. this isnt California so I guess it cost more to ship things to new york. Most of the four workers dont speak English so it was hard to communicate and ask for items
A very big place. Strong odor of seafood when I walked in. The prices I saw were not any bargains. To tell the truth I wasnt able to walk very well so I wasnt able to get to more than the produce section. I did notice a fast food restaurant called mango mango but unfortunately I was not able to check it out this time. I will update when I am able to ambulate better. I was lost a little so couldnt make a consideration of the rest of this store.
First, I want to say my Wife loved the place. Great selection and prices, friendly staff, but I never got to experience it. I was instead retching in the parking lot after fleeing from the strong acrid smell of fish that was so overpowering that my stomach was still churning 20 minutes later when my wife came out. TLDR: IF YOU HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH FISH DO NOT WALK IN, LET SOMEONE ELSE SHOP FOR YOU.
Excellent selection, clean and neat layout and shelves. The service is excellent and the store follows all social distancing protocols. I always feel safe and comfortable shopping here. The produce selection is some of the best in the area.

Im torn on this place its great to find really unique items but its very difficult for anyone that isnt Chinese to walk around and shop. Most things you cant read and no matter who you ask if you have a question nobody speaks English which makes it very difficult to find things or ask questions. My biggest issue with the place is it smells absolutely awful. Its very difficult to purchase stuff from a place like that. Its such a turn-off you see a fish/meat/produce market and its hard to imagine this stuff could possibly be fresh because its just such an awful smelling place. I have been to some markets in Chinatown NYC and they have the same problem. It just makes it seem so incredibly dirty that its hard to feel comfortable purchasing. I would love a fresh fish market but who knows if its fresh and you cant ask. There is a lot there that I wouldnt buy just for that reason. Besides that if they just labeled things better it might be easier for all people to shop there. I love the produce and finding such unique varieties but again the labels are just not adequate to know what you are getting.if they would clean it up a bit, organize it (super disorganized ... same items found in different places all over) and labels on shelves to tell you what things are in English..with at least a few English speaking people to assist ...I think they could hugely improve their business to cater to more diverse group of people... I do like the roast duck on weekends and unique produce!

Compared to the other asian markets in Buffalo, it is unrivaled in size and selection. service is always professional and punctual. sometimes i shop for myself, sometimes i am the courier to procure produce for the restaurant i work for. this market has developed into an impressive center for bulk restaurant necessities, however, that isnt to say the market is catered towards the bulk shopper. rather, Asia Food Market does well of appeasing both clients. in terms of the efficacy of browsing the shelves for my home pantry, or placing bulk orders for perishable items, i am quite pleased with the professional service and organization here.sometimes i find myself in a quarter-life crisis searching for the sublime in the toiletries section. admiring the wood-stained tea tables, of which i do not need; the allure too enticing to not gaze. im not harrased with a finding everything okay? the cultural shift to online shopping showcases the stifling atmosphere of associates shoving the store loyalty card down our throats each time we just want to buy a pickled radish is undesirable. i enjoy the laissez-faire approach at the Asia Food Market: let me shop in peace unless assistance is requested.on the facade of the megaplex we have signage that proclaims a pretty hefty claim: Asia Center Mall. This chicanery may cause a curious onlooker to fantasize of a mall with many auxiliary shops and boutiques. although there is a hair salon, and an exceptional dessert and bubble tea café under the moniker Mango Mango, over half of the mall is closed off. dust fills the forgotten half where empty wooden pallettes lay dormant. the idea of a true Asian mall, filled with boutiques of artisans, bakeries hailing Asian desserts, as well as a daiso selling miscellaneous trinkets, may or may not be in the owners plans at this point. however, given the sheer number of patrons of the supermarket, im convinced this mall concept would be welcomed in a city that is devoid of ample representation from its burgeoning Asian-american community.in a personal conflict of interest, i would like to see Thai snacks expanded beyond just Euro cakes and Koh Kae. market frenzy of Japanese snacks has unfairly stacked the shelves with a bit too much Pocky, and not enough durian flavored cocunut rolls. interestingly, the Fuji apples at this market are the best apples in the area. their sheer girth and copius flavor are unmatched in the city limits. the seafood department boasts a diverse selection of crustacean whether it be Dungeness crabs, trembling frogs guilting me into the thought of what if i just accidently cracked open the tank or wild caught red snapper carcasses. the market even carries Perrys ice cream and Tropicana OJ to ensure suburbanites dont feel unwelcome. although, im not sure karen will be eager to shop when she spots mandarin letters on the markets fascia and drives back to wegmans in a xenophobic rage.i find the market to bestow its patrons with a sense of dignity. it understands many customers already know where their pressed bean curd or favorite sweet & sour tamarind candy rests. but it also doesnt admonish those who came for a bowl of Cup Noodles and a 6-pack of Kirin Light. im allowed the freedom to ogle the soybean maker as i let the stress of daily life evanesce into the atmosphere, a gasous representation mimicked by the bamboo steamers beside me. no entitled suburbanite yells at the manager in this store, as upon entering, your bloodsteam asborbs the unwritten contact demanding a broad-minded, and a reverential attitude to shop here.the market could use some enhancements like removing the odor permeating the front vestibule, or painting the walls to be more congenial, but this is hardly off-putting. i hope one day the market lives up to the Asia Center Mall proclamation forboding the entrance. however, in the mean time, i still find solace in my weekly shopping jaunt to the market that lets me soul-search as i forage the aisles for full-bodied fuji apples and flavor-infused fish-shaped ice cream sandwhiches.

I have shopped here many times and have always appreciated the selection and prices. Since I am a westerner, I find it helpful to save a picture of an item I want to help ease the language barrier. The staff are always very helpful in tracking down the items.A thing to note: This supermarket seems organized by region (e.g. Korean, Chinese) than by product type for many items. Keeping this in mind, you might find things a little easier.
Great selection of items you cant find at your standard American grocery. The butcher keeps lots of bones/trotters/other parts available for stock ingredients.
All the drinks there wether your buying from the market or the little restaurant... SO GOOD!I have a huge trust in Asian drinks now, my favorite is the evergreen coconut milk drink, real good!

I love this market. They have a great selection. Ive found unique foods many that I never had before. All fresh and good. The prices are good. Its a large place (used to be a Walmart) with wide aisles for easy shopping. They have fresh produce, refrigerated and frozen sections, spices, canned goods, treats, restaurant supplies, live fish in tanks, sauces, noodles and just about anything youd be looking for. I can spend hours just looking here...but I always buy something that is new to me and so far I have never been disappointed. I am hooked on a tofu with star anise that has the texture of a smoked cheese and the taste is amazing....a great new twist to tofu.
Speaking as someone who has only gone here to buy ramen and snacks I can say that they have a wide and interesting selection of both. I know there are plenty of other services and goods offered here that Ive never had the occasion to try but if you are looking for something new (or familiar depending on where you are coming from) this is the place. One of Buffalos hidden food/culture gems in my opinion. Encourage anyone interested to check it out.
The mango mango desserts store inside was excellent, serving so many kinds of Chinese/Cantonese desserts. I got 芝麻糊。
This store is a hidden gem! My wife and I just moved here from NYC and originally thought itd be tough to get any of the Asian ingredients and goods we had grown accustom to -- but then this oasis was recommended to us by a friend. Its gigantic, well organized, and well priced. We couldnt he happier :)
Has a pretty good selection of items. Currently their stock isnt the best with the inability to import fresh fruits from Asia as easily right now. The main things I find lacking is candy and sweets. I would love some Japanese chocolates like KitKat or some pastries like you find in a Chinese bakery.
Wow!! This is the biggest and the best Asian market in WNY!! Theres so much different foods (that I didnt know even exist!) and TONS of spices and many things that represent Asian culture. Totally recommend going here!!*The only problem I had was the cashier didnt know English so the communication was completely off. Maybe teach the employees some English to be able to help and assist customers. Thanks :)
If there would be another big asian store, I will not come here. WAY TOO OVERPRICED!Product quality is fine but be cautious, some staff may out of best date when you buy... worrisome.The WORST (!!) part of the store is actually the staffs behavior - specifically, the cashier #2, who acted impolite, and sometimes rude! This cashier was not even capable of her own work. Look how she put a bag of peanut in my shopping cart - took me much, much extra care and time to get it out. Other cashiers are fine, although they always show with poker face.Hope they will change. - Feb 2021.
Expansive array of Asian foods, furniture, and even Jewelry. Very friendly. Prices are good overall. Produce section is great with good pricing. Some packaged food overpriced. The seafood smell can be overwhelming if you are sensitive. Aisles labeled in English. Everyone can find something they like here.
I am passionate about Asian cooking. So many common ingredients have cultural variations and this market has so much from which to choose.The have a fresh fish section with expected (salmon, shrimp, lobster) and unique items (geoduck, skate, live eel). The frozen fish selection is extensive as well.They also feature a small selection of uncommon meat and poultry items like rabbit, pigeon, duck, duck tongue, pork and chicken hearts, and the like. Not for everyone I know, but if its your thing its a rare find in Western New York.Their produce selection is features a good assortment of Asian cooking staples - peppers, mushrooms, bamboo, lotus root, durian, rambutan, and much more. Ive shopped here for over a year and my best advice is to remember that seasonality and importabilty really affects produce varieties. Its best to get a person feel based upon your cooking preferences.I do have two challenges when I shop there. First, I still find it an adventure to shop there. Ill have one or two items specifically in mind but spend an hour or two browsing. Second, Im an English speaker who appreciates, but struggles with, non-Latin alphabets. Labels in Chinese, Korean, and Thai only are some times frustrating. I stand in the aisles using my translate app every once in awhile.I would certainly recommend this store to those Asian cooking fans who are looking to experiment with new regional styles or to improve the quality or authenticity of their dishes.

One of my favorite markets in Buffalo. I go here all the time for teas, hot pot ingredients, and steam buns. But thats not all they have. Full selection of good quality vegetables, snacks, and cooking ingredients from a wide variety of Asian countries. If you need traditional Asian cooking pots/pans/utensils, they have plenty in stock. Need ceramic tea pots and cups? They got those too. They also have a hair salon now! Such a great store.

Really impressive to americans, not that impressive to anyone whos gone shopping at T&T in Toronto or any decent asian stores.They have fresher products than the other asian markets in the area.I asked them if they had agar-agar powder and they said NO (showed them what i was talking about on phone with translation) various wrokers told me they dont have it. Spent like 40 minutes wandering around with a different translation app till i found it.. dont expect much out of anyone working there .They sell reusable bags but cant put things IN your bags and they wipe your produce around on a scanner/conveyer belt that I never actually see them cleaning between customersI wish we had a better asian market around here.I was all about this place when they first opened and for the first year but its just been going down hill more and more and they dont really have many deals. Theres other ways to get the same stuff a lot cheaper.

A lot of Asian groceries but needs to turn on exhaust fans. Smell of seafood is waaaaaaay too strong when you 1st walk in.
Feels less like a specialty store and more like a nice grocery store that happens to focus on anything youd want to eat in asian cuisine. Its all there and you can discover flavors and foods without breaking the bank.

A great variety of Asian food and ingredients. Prices were reasonable. The store was clean and well lit. I was disappointed that the live seafood was in tanks that were far too small.
Best place in the area to get Asian groceries/snacks. Ive been to the other Asia Food Market locations in Rochester and Syracuse, and this is the newest and cleanest location. Only thing this one lacks is my favorite brand of soy sauce (which the Syracuse location does carry). Emloyees at the registers here are always friendly.
The largest Asian food store in the area, almost too large. Employees are reluctant or unable to help or speak English. This plus the large size makes it very difficult to find what you want.

Extremely fresh fish at very low prices. They also sell live fish that they kill in front of you. However, the fishmongers DO NOT process the fish professionally! They are careless about leaving countless scales on the fish. They dont fillet fish evenly or professionally. They dont remove the guts from the fish in a professional manner. If you are not Oriental its hard to communicate with them. Be alert. They tried to overcharge me for the fish.
Love to have big asian market around the town, but service is not best. cashier is quite rude, no say hello, how are you or thank you after you leave.I went there many time because it close to my house, one time while I was checking out ,I took all the stuff out to the cashier accept one thing that I didn’t see so I didn’t take it out in the cart ,so another cashier saw that and told her friend to check my cart throughly. Seriously ? That stuff that I forgot it was only $1.99 and I spent almost $100 there just $1.99 they thought I want to steal that? It was an accident!.
Great place to buy Asian food
I feed my pets a raw diet for their health and to combat food allergies. This is one of the only local places I can find the meat and seafood I need to make their food with. I’ve been extremely happy with the variety and quality, as well as the fair prices per lb. Most of the fresh meats are not enhanced or marinated with sodium before packaging so I can trust the nutritional content I’m feeding to my fur kids. I can regularly find goat, rabbit, quail, and other hard to find items. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. I shop here several times a month and can keep costs low as I don’t have to order from online sources and pay shipping costs. Clean, well lit, and great hours. Get there early to have the best variety! Glad to confirm they accept cash, credit/debit, and SNAP. Bring a cooler and spare plastic bags to wrap purchases with if you don’t want any mess.
This place is great! They have an amazing selection of different brands and produce, as well as a fresh fish station, where they can clean and section or filet fish straight from the tank. I got a delicious catfish I used for a thai style stew and it was so good!
Super huge market. Variety of sweets and treats. Great frozen food selection. All the classic snacks from Asia. Bunch of items I remembered growing up with in a Filipino household.
So many options, and its not region specific. Foods from all over Asia. From fresh fruit to frozen dumplings, fresh fish (still in the tank), and even snacks. The visit alone is fun and the options are amazing. Prices on many things are super low as well

Good place to find snacks and ingredients you wouldnt be able to find in most supermarket chains like Tops or Wegmans in the area. Produce was fresh and had everything in stock. Prices were good as well.
Come here mostly every week. Its a very big asian market that includes a barber shop and a dessert cafe. Just make sure to bring your own bag because ever since covid happened they dont put your things inside a bag, just inside the cart so bring your own bag if you plan to go grocery shopping.
They have a huge selection. However, for being such a large Asian market they really only seem to cater to Chinese cuisine necessities. That is a little disappointing but they still have most basic Asian items.

The longan is 6.99 a pound, not even that good looking. Impolite employees. I think the manager should train their employees. Well, if they are not good at English, at least know how to say thank you or sorry.Dont get me wrong, I like their stuff. The people was warm and helpful, and we found things for our meal that we couldnt find anywhere else. They also have a neat selection of furniture and jade jewelry. Over all very satisfied with our second trip to this store.

An excellent, large Asian grocer. They have a wide selection of fresh produce, meat and seafood. Their stock of frozen foods, housewares, and dry/canned goods is also extensive. The store is well-lit, well-organized, and aisles are easy to navigate with a cart.
Went to the market out of desperation to find goat meat for a recipe. This was after there was no luck with the local butcher shops. Frankly Im glad I did. The quality of the meat was top notch and all the others available looked incredible. The fresh fish selection is out of sight too.

They have pretty much everything we need for making Asian food at home! The fish smell might overwhelm some people, but thats price of fresh seafood. They also have a wide variety of gyoza and steamed buns that I have seen nowhere else in town.
This place has whatever you need. Prices are reasonable and I like the variety of the selection in brands. They also have tea sets and cooking utensils as well as a great fresh fruit and vegetables selection. If your in the area they are worth stopping in.

Asia Food Market is a wonderland and sights and sounds of culinary delight. The panoply of pan-Asian offerings, along with a truly tremendous fish market, makes it a must-shop in the northtowns.

Love this place. We go here to get some great foods. Interesting place and so far the only place I have found purple yams.
Even the market is named Asia Food Market, most of stuffs (about 3/4) are from China. I don’t complain about the market, but I couldn’t find India, Thai and Vietnam food. Also, from a Japanese perspective, the market should have more Japanese stuffs. Vegetables and Fishes seem fresh. They should change the eels’ tank water though.

Lots of wonderful groceries from all over East India, China, Japan, Korea, and many other far East countries.I especially love this store for their extensive selection of spices and teas.Many East Asian groceries that cannot be found anywhere else in Western NY. From various types of dried mushrooms, Peking duck, frozen dumplings, many different types of rice, sauces, marinades, to live fish and seafood that theyll clean on the spot for you.Even if youre in search of what many may consider odd foods; such as duck tongues, black chickens, live frogs, snooter to the footer of pigs, etc. you can find here.If I were to complain about anything, and really its not a problem for me, but may be difficult for other customers, not everyone understands and/or speaks much of the English language. But there are plenty of Google or iPhone apps you can download that can easily assist you.
Awesome big store. They have huge variety of fresh produce as well as all asian and indian groceries. But apart from that i like fresh fish they have lots of fresh sea food variety. They also have imported stuff like awesome dining sets and other useful things.
Not sanitary, but they sale bulk items for restaurants and large families.
This is probably the biggest asian food market in Western New York. Fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, exotic staff and many more. Clean and organized.
The only place me and my wife shop for our Asian soups and noodles Bean buns are awesome you got to try them all and the pork buns and a beef buns
This place has alot so that obviously great but things are all in different area. Example: peanut sauce is in 4 different spots. Why not all together so you can compare. People are friendly but language barrier is the problem. Great store but needs a new setup in my opinion.
This was my first visit to the Market and I was very impressed. It has a wide variety of fresh food and so many products Ive never srrn, but excited to try. Very clean and very friendly staff. Enjoy shopping. I did!
Everything you could want to cook Asian or Indian food. Huge selection of fresh veggies, noodles, spices and sauces. Kitchenware from fryer baskets to chopsticks. Dumpling steamers, bowls and chinaware.Try e chicken and pork potstickers in the frozen section, SOOOOOO YUMMY!
Excellent selection of rare import ingredients, fantastic prices, fresh healthy produce, and hands down the best fresh seafood and meat selection in the tri-county area. Live shushi grade fish. Enormous live oysters. If you cook gourmet, even if you only cook in Western style, this is worth the trip.
It feels like a trip to Asia to me. They have a wide variety of products from China, India and Southeast Asia. To me, it was very exotic, while to the person looking for these foods, it may seem like a touch of home.My cashier did not speak English, but I still recommend it.
A bit pricier than most Asian markets in NYC or Toronto (before tax) but they have a LARGE variety of products. The only thing I dislike is that they didnt open up soon enough when I was still studying at UB.
Best Asian market around. We have been to many others but this is by far our favorite. Huge selection. You wont be disappointed.
Awesome! Finally WNY has a real Asian supermarket. Every city Ive lived in has supermarkets focused on cultures other than American except Western New York,until now.All they need to do is add prepared food and it will be complete.

Wonderful selection of exotic products..great prices on produce. They also have a live seafood station where they clean and cut your fish for you. Absolutely loved it.
It reminded me of shopping at the markets in Xiamen, China. Good selection of staples for some types of Asian cooking. There is an interesting selection of Asian housewares and furniture too. I will keep going back, just for miso paste and Kim chee, but I liked the selection of produce too.
They have anything asian related you could think of except alcoholic sake. I bought natto, Mackerel and mirin from there. They also have lots of fish, some fresh, and even organic meats like chicken livers and cow hearts.
I wish I lived closer so I could go more often. This is my favorite Asian market in the area. Best fresh pork belly!

Great place to get foods that you wouldnt normally find in other grocery stores or supermarkets in Amherst, like bok choy and garam masala. If looking to cook South Asian / Indian or East Asian dishes, then this is the place to get your ingredients and then some.
OMG. Its literally the biggest Pan-Asian food market I have been in outside of Toronto or NYC. Aisles of everything you can think of, including huge produce and fresh seafood departments, and stuff that you would never would think of, such as a medicinal department, and a furniture department.

New, huge, diverse, organized. A real Asian market only thing missing is a good New York city style Char si bao hope Im spelling it correctly. They only sell the steamed type not the golden brown pork filled delights that T&T market used sell until they changed owners. Cant find them anywhere in WNY.

Decently sized chinese supermarket with most things that you would need and want.

The only place to shop for all your Asian goods and products. The store is huge and the selection makes anything else in Buffalo look incomplete. I highly recommend.
The last week we notice some products that have expired. Then the next time, the same products are date-less. I don’t know what happened but better check the expiration date before purchasing anything here.
I can barely read anything in the store but they have a great selection and found new flavors that I didnt know existed. You should come and check it out some time.
Is located in the old walmart on Niagara falls Blvd has a great selection of fresh produce and foods from many parts of Asia and some items from Europe I mostly go there for dumplings and the spices are very cheap
Just found out about this store. Its located in an old Walmart on Niagara Falls Blvd, in Amherst. This is the best Asian store in the area. It is large (1/2 of the old Walmart ). Soon, the other half will be a food court!!
Very cool store and everything is authentic Asian. Very different from any other grocery store around the snack and beverages are awesome I’ll be coming back

Best Asian grocery store in Buffalo-Niagara area. Saves me a trip to Toronto area in Canada since this is where similar scale and variety Asian markets can be found.
I found exactly what I was looking for.....and there were so many other items to look at.....pretty amazing place and very clean. Prices were cheaper than I expected and I will definitely be going back.

I went to Asian market today the smell of dead fish was stomach churning. The entire store smelled like rotten dead fish. It was the most horrifying experience. I could not get past the horrific smell in that place. Someone is going to get very very sick.
This is the best store anywhere the prices are low the food is unreal there is so many different things to buy here I just wish I had more money to buy even more.

The selection is great, however it can be difficult to shop around if you dont speak any Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, etc.
I absolutely love this market. I go once a month. Be aware the fresh fish gets deliver on Tuesday Thursday and Saturday.

The most extensive Asian market in the area. Always fun to go in and thoroughly plan a heat evening meal by walking up and down the Isles.

2022-04-23Had a wonderful experience here! It had been my first time visiting a market since I went to Japan 4 years ago and I bought so much stuff! The prices were on the higher side but I found authentic snacks and drinks from Japan which I was so happy to found. I would love to spend more time here if i was in the area.

2022-04-26Too expensive, if you drive to Niagara falls, Ontario you will find everything is much cheaper. Dont even have to talk about Asian supermarket in Toronto.Basically the grocery stores in Buffalo and Niagara fall US should be much cheaper than Ontario...

2021-12-08Best Asian Market in Buffalo! When an Asian store has live fish, its a sign you are in the right place. Extremely wide selection of products including food, housewares and even furniture, amazing place. I occasionally work in Chicago and always stock up while visiting because I could not find the Asian products I wanted in any Asian market in Buffalo, UNTIL NOW. Absolutely love this place .I live in NW Pennsylvania and drive 2+ hours to get there and the best part is its location. Easy on and off the 290 near the Home Depot in the old K-Mart building.11/3/21 - First visit in over a year and once again, Best Asian Food Market in Buffalo. I found every item I was shopping for AND from every Asian manufacture whom I trust for taste and consistency. Excellent selection!

2022-04-02This place is huge, with plenty to choose from. It has a very strong fishy smell though. Im not Asian, but I appreciate all the new (to me) foods to try! Many items have an English description, but some are a total guess (to me) as to what they are. But I love trying new things.

2021-05-11Great Asian store around Buffalo. This place have most of the stuff you’ll need to make Asian cuisine. Their price is not expensive since I’ve seen similar prices in Chinatown NYC. They sell live fish so watch out for the smell inside the store. Overall, great and huge Asian store around WNY.

2020-07-20Asia Food Market is undisputedly the best Chinese supermarket in Buffalo. Located across from a Home Depot, it looks like the supermarket took over what once was a K-mart, so theres plenty of space in the store. The selection of fresh produce, meats, and seafood is really good. We especially appreciate the large selection of Asian veggies to choose from. There are also a few options for thin sliced meats and frozen sides for hotpot. Lastly, theres quite a selection of instant noodles and junk food.

2022-07-07When you enter the store, the finish smell is too much. Other Asian/Korean markets in big cities do not have such a smell. They have to work hard to minimize the smell.

2022-04-22Clean and well organized, this place is what we have been looking for since we moved to Buffalo. They did not have all the ingredients that we were looking for, but they had most of them. If you dont speak Mandarin or Cantonese you may have some issues communicating with some of the employees, but what a great selection. They also have a side restaurant attached to the facility that has Taiwanese shaved mango ice. So good!*Update*Went back a couple months later and had the same great experience.
