Every time I come into this store the customer service is horrible. It always feels like the employees feel like they’re doing me a favor. I came in to buy ASICS elite shoe the MetaSpeed sky and called in advance to hold them. Came in and they didn’t hold them. After speaking to the manager Roger his response was “I wasn’t here bro”. At this point I don’t know why I keep coming to this store. You step in and you have to chase employees for help. Occasionally you get a nice employee like Omar who helped me today after the manager says and acts like it isn’t his problem. Note to ASICS: I’ve been running on your shoes for 10 years. Hire people that care about your brand and representing it well.

Online indicated that it was open today. I called and no one answered. I traveled far to get here, upon arrival the store is closed for construction. There should of been an update online. I could of saved travel time.
The managers Danny and Khyanna are the absolute best! They helped me resolve an issue that corporate was not able to. You should absolutely ask for them! This store really provides the best service to their customers.
We went to buy 3 pair of shoes from them. I didn’t know that we cannot try whatever they have on display. So I took one and tried. However we had couple more on the bench that we got from a lady who brought those from inside so that we can try. The black guy was rude since we went to the store. He suddenly came and told us “you cannot just try from here put the shoes just like that”. I don’t know what kind of gesture was that. Thats was very rude. He could simply told us that they will give us the size we want so that we can try on. The lady was super nice but the guy was extremely rude. No doubt why people don’t like to hire them. Will never go back to that store. We left and bought shoes from New Balance and got very good service.
Arrived here 30 minutes after the posted opening time and the doors were locked. Waited for another five minutes and not a single employee could be seen.
Called to ask about returns and got a lecture from the manager on fraudulent returns/exchanges that are occurring. I realize this is unfortunate and stressful for the staff, but it was no way to talk to a customer and as I wished him a good day, he hung up. I was simply trying to get information to exchange a pair of shoes I had gotten my dad for Christmas.
I needed a new pair of running shoes and was helped by the store associate name Danny. I cannot stress! I despise going into a store and sales associates having no knowledge of the merchandise. Danny asked what I was looking for and suggested a pair of sneakers that were exactly what I was looking for (GT 2000 10). I will return for future purchases.
The man in the shop spent a lot of time with me finding the right shoe for my upcoming marathon. He literally had about 6 pairs of shoes out for me to try! Small but we found new running shoes for my wife. We got a discount of 20% although the shoes were not located in the special sales area.

Roger and Eileen were awesome, they were very patient (I’m very indecisive and it was closing time), knowledgeable of every shoe and running style, and so nice. Great service and knowledgeable staff, though initially was sole customer. Five stars; being an athletic shoe store, expectations were only so high but met on all accounts. Did not see wrestling shoes or onitsukas (latter have their own store though).
Been calling for weeks. Noone picks up the phone.
There is a very arrogant employee. He lied an after proving he was wrong, he decided not to continue attending me. Nice products, poor service.
My favorite ASICS shop for running gear
Horrible designs, but the expensive models are super comfortable and worth it when discounted. Womens colours are too boring for me, mens have a few acceptable designs. Staff is very nice, clean store.

Great service. I went here to buy a new pair of training shoes. The salesperson gave me his undivided attention and recommended a number if styles related to what I was looking for. Ended up purchasing one if the pairs be recommended.
Great selection, outstanding staff. This was my first pair of Asics. I wore them out of the store and so far my Gel Quantum Infinities are very comfortable. Mober was a big help.
I had a very bad experience, the staff with the exception of Mr. Mmechichi who helped me and was very nice, were rude and having arguments were siting on top of the counter loud and with their phones, I said hi as i entered and I was totally ignored, even if the store was completely empty. I also sent an email to the company about my experience on the 21st of december and still havent hear from them. Definitly not what Im use to when I shop in Chelsea

A few months ago this place looked pretty drab, I guess they were just getting ready to renovate. Stopped in yesterday to check out the new merchandise and WOW! Great service, Great products.Really cool neighborhood style shop.
It is alright if you need to grab something right away. The staff was friendly but make sure you do some research before going in there as I didnt find the sales staff super knowledgeable. In and out with the shoes I wanted in about 10 minutes.

Customer service was perfect. A boy named Aldine spoke with me in portuguese about the roadhawks and Kayano 24... I bought both the sneakers...very comfortable!!

Such a place and very little variety in shoes... they only have for running... and Asics is known for volleyball shoes... you travel a lot to get to this store and not find volleyball shoes... but I give it 3 stars for the excellent attention of the only boy who speaks in Spanish

2022-06-17Ordered a pair of shoes online and had them shipped to the store for pick up to use it as an excuse to check out the store as I’d never visited. Pickup process was super smooth and the store was neat as well. It’s more geared to the running apparel and shoes so you won’t see many lifestyle shoes but it’s still really cool to browse around check out.

2022-09-03Love ASICS, was going in for some new running sneakers. The folks there were super helpful and answered all the questions I had both on the phone and in person. I bought a pair and loved the feel, however the color just didn’t sit right with me. Went back the next day and two of the workers, Brian and Jasmine, helped me make a return with no issue. I will definitely send my runner friends to this spot!

2022-09-16Im usually very forgetful but like Maya Angelou said People will never forget how you made them feel.I went to the ASCIS store only expecting to return sneakers and being hopeful someone would help me find the right sneaker to assist with some of the disadvantages my feet have.Well, I got that and more ! A special appreciation to a gentlemen name SEAN. He was so helpful, patient and informative. Along with the staff being super friendly and store manager being very willing to make accommodations. I personal dont come across great customer service often so I like to tell the world when I do. Thank you for your help and I absolutely will be returning for more sneakers ! :)

2022-06-15Already have experience with their shoes and they are very top quality. I just went to return some shoes that were a little too big, and I had no problems. Simple and quick. Everyone is friendly and I love shopping there.

2022-06-13The comments about good service are truly baffling. Listen to this review, and the many others, which say that the service is awful and the workers are extremely unfriendly. If you know what you want before going in, that’s your best bet. If you need actual assistance, I’d recommend one of the many other running stores in the city, including Fleet Feet. God help you if you need to process a return or an exchange.

2022-07-08The sales rep was super rude and didn’t want to price match. I’m not a confrontational person so this was really uncalled for. I left the store in a really sad mood because of this. This was my first time visiting an asics store and I’m really disappointed with this experience. If I could do 0 stars I would. Don’t spend your hard earned money here.

2018-09-16The recently opened Meatpacking district ASICS location is very well merchandised and spacious. They offer ASICS for Men, Women, and Children from head-to-toe including well designed backpacks and accessories.Beautifully constructed running jackets with rain hoods. Their running, jogging, trekking, walking footwear is state-of-the-art as is their entire collection.Beautiful store... wonderful fit...
