Aspen Dental in other cities:
First visit to to Aspen Dental in Canandaigua NY. I was super happy with this visit. Staff was knowledgeable, pleasant, respectful and accommodating. The entire staff took their time to ensure I was happy with my visit in every way. I wasnt rushed in and rushed out as I had been with my former dental group. The atmosphere was professional but relaxed. The dentist and staff were happy to answer any questions. Very pleased. Thank you. Wish Id made my first as appointment years ago.
Fantastic service!!! Everyone was so warm and friendly. Dr. Lesia Pirmand was superb. I felt zero pain during the two extractions. She is one of the best Dentist I have ever had. I Highly recommend this facility!!! They all worked as a great team. Looking forward to visiting them again in January for a denture replacement 👍
Dentists are very good. Dental hygienist, however is another story. Hard-selling me a $100 electric toothbrush not covered by insurance. Another visit she sent me home with a tube of toothpaste, never mentioned I would be charged, never mentioned that it was a THIRTY DOLLAR tube of toothpaste, again, not covered by insurance. Ill continue to have their excellent dentist work on me, but for teeth cleanings, Ill go somewhere else, hopefully to someone upfront about the necessity and costs involved.
First experience with a corporate dentist. Was asked to complete paperwork online in advance but was not given account number needed to do so. Was told that my first visit had to be x-rays and an exam before even a basic cleaning could be done. (Everywhere else I have been, first visit is a cleaning - but, I suppose, more visits = more profit.) They took WAY more x-rays than I have ever experience elsewhere. There is a TV over every dentist chair and no obvious way to turn them off. Hygienist and dentist did not even turn off TV when they did the exam. Finally got scheduled for a cleaning - 6 months out. These things dont seem like the fault of any particular person working there, but rather symptoms of the format of the business. On the plus side, they had newer technology than Im used to, like a wand that makes a 3-D scan of your mouth! (to try to sell you on Invisalign, but hey, what do you expect.)
My husband had his appointment with Canandaigua Aspen Dental and the minute He entered he was welcomed by the receptionist and was given immediate attention. The Dental assistant Jullysa was extremely pleasant and explained everything was going to be taken care of and made hisappointment very reassuring and positive. He was completely happy with his dental appointment and we recommend Aspen Dental very highly.
The dental cleaning and doctor review were fine. Melissa does a good job, and quite gentle with the cleaning and X-rays.My doctor is very kind, and helpful. My only problem was some confusion on my appointment time, through messages. It was changed about three times, so I had to call in twice. Otherwise, a good experience.
My husband has gone to Aspen. We have NEVER been soo disappointed in a dentists office before! They did dentures for him months ago. THEY STILL DONT FIT! He cant eat with them yet! They have told him that now he has his first set of dentures, he has to wait for six months until they can do anything else. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND ASPEN TO ANYONE!!!!
Had a very good experience so far.Got in quick and was treated with respect.Even though I have no dental insurance and I have to pay it all out of pocket.I even got a reasonable payment plan.I will let ya know how my next visit goes cuz thats when the teeth of the mater will be handled.
I had an oddly pleasant experience getting my wisdom tooth out. I went in and was so nervous, shaking nervous. The technician, Robert was so kind and professional with me. I know they are very busy at Aspen, so both Robert and Dr. Tin were fast-paced while managing to keep me as comfortable and confident as possible. I cannot recommend this location enough! I was in and out before my appointment was supposed to even begin! I am so very impressed at their care for my nervous self, as I know they were very busy at the time. I’m extremely appreciative, the customer service here changes the scary demeanor of what the dentist can be to some people.
I wouldnt go back ....They show to be a IMMEDITE CARE.I had to wait 12 days after my 1st appt.for there traveling dentist to remove a broken toothHe acted like he was rushed & aggressiveVery hurtful.... There $400.00 dentures turned into$10000.00 office staff was nice 😞
My experience with the Aspen Team so far has been great. I fear any type of dentistry from a cleaning to extractions.I have never come close to that here as they are very professional and put you at ease at once. Melissa has a personality like no other. She can brighten your day with her soothing voice. A great hygienist .5 stars to her and the rest of the staff.
I recently traveled to Oklahoma from Upstate NY and while there a crown came off - it was very late in the afternoon but I called the local Aspen Dental location in Norman and they got me in at 9:45 the next morning. Dr. Goldsmith and the staff were outstanding. Excellent communicate. I walked in and they had my previous x-rays pulled up and the care provided was excellent. I cant imagine the hassle and expense of having that work done if I hadnt already been an Aspen Dental client. As far as going to the dentist is concerned, it was a great experience!
I have nothing bad to say about the staff, as they were very pleasant and kind. I do not agree with the prices. I was quoted for the high priced dentures and a ton of services I wasnt looking for. Not being able to work with people that have poor credit is not a good quality. I have very poor teeth and have pain most days. I was hoping to have work done with Aspen but because of the ridiculous cost I cant. Payment plans with a certain amount down through the practice would help tremendously. I was able to put multiple thousands down and that still isnt enough. Shame on them.
I scheduled meeting last night on line for 9:00 am this morning. I was treated totally professional and with great care. I left an hour later very happy with future plans and appointments scheduled. Thank you to Kayla , Sam, Melissa and Doctor Pirmand. Truly Robert Annese
Your receptionist working today needs a lesson in customer service and basic human decency when interacting with customers. My fiancé called ahead and asked if shed be able to bring our newborn along and was told yes, no problem. Otherwise she would have had one of the grand parents watch him for the appointment. When she arrived your unprofessional receptionist was rude, condescending, and told her she should have known not to bring him and asked what kind of mother would bring a child to the dentist?. I would never tolerate one of my employees speaking to a customer this way. This is our first and last time dealing with aspen dental and I would never recommend themto anyone. This receptionist needs to find work in a non customer facing role.
Staff are fantastic and they take Great care of me. All insurance research is handled well.Update 1/19/22Special recognition goes out toLead Dental Assistant Natalie, also KaylaDr. PU performed brilliantlyI had a cavity lurking under an old gold capThey performed outstanding repair and replacementThanksRickeyOn my way with grandson to cash in my old gold capHe will love going to pawn shop
Went to Aspen dental because my teeth were hurting they did little to address why I was having pain instead they scolded me for not having a cleaning done on my teeth . They told me that they cant do a cleaning because my teeth are to bad but they were more than happy to accept my co pay and to schedule me a 600 dollar root canal.
Great service and everyone my son met that day was very patient with his extreme anxiety and fear of the dentist. He saw Dr. Pirmand and she was great. Melissa the hygienist was extremely calm and patient. My sons fears kept getting the best of him and she was calm and patient which allowed him to finish getting his teeth cleaned.
I had my wisdom teeth removed here a while back and it only took about 30 minutes to take out all four. I was under anesthesia for the surgery and had no complications. The process was super easy. Pethan Tin did a great job. Also my dental hygienist Melissa at the Canandaigua NY location does a great job every six months when I go in for my teeth cleaning.
Honestly wont go back.I went there for tooth pain and was quoted a bill that had things on it I did not need like a tooth brush I already own. The staff barely acknowledge me, the dentist did not even look at me to ask where my pain was she just looked at my xray and was like bet your pain is on the left. Then when I went back to get some fillings they put numbing jell in my mouth that was flavored and did not ask me my flavor preference and I gag with coconut flavors and thats the flavor she chose without asking. I asked the assistant after it was in if I was crazy or was this flavored and she said Oh yeah, its pinna colata, we have strawberry and bubblegum too.Ive had dozens of fillings in my life and have never hurt so bad after the procedure as I do now. It has been a week and my jaw still hurts. Then the best part is I asked the billing/booking receptionist a question about one of the teeth they said need a root canal could not have a crown and she said Its only $850 with your insurance. I said $850 is a lot of money for me and she said Well if the tooth really is bothering you can just have it pulled and then get a replacement down the roadI would rather go to an out of network dentist then deal with these snobby women again. They really are the kind of people that make not go to the dentist.
I called for an appointment stating that I had a toothache. They gave me an appointment for the next day. I had to leave work early to get there. They took x-rays then had me sit and wait for the dentist. She came in, looked at my tooth and left. I then sat there for an hour until they took me back out to the front desk where they tried to sell me thousands of dollars worth of dental work I didnt want, then proceeded to tell me that I had to come back for another appointment to have work done on my tooth. All I wanted was to get rid of the toothache and now Im sitting at home in pain for the long Thanksgiving weekend until I can get into my regular dentist. Lesson learned! I will never go to Aspen dental again nor will I recommend it to even my worst enemy! Thanks for nothing!
Seems like they want to just make money off of you! No cavities, was told I have strong teeth but need a special cleaning and a crown replaced (which I’ve had for years and gives me no pain or discomfort and is solid). The hygienist was rude and presumptuous. They tried to get me for $2000 dollars because I don’t have insurance. Seems like a racket if you ask me
I was “warned” about Aspen when I was looking for a dentist to take me.... I decided to make my OWN decision and I AM SO GLAD I DID!!! Canandaguia Aspen Dental is the ONLY OFFICE I’ve never been SHAKING IN!!! From the receptionist to the MD IT WAS 100% a positive experience!!!! Great bedside manner and VERY HONEST about ALL my options and walked out with an estimate!! I will be moving myself and my kids over !
Horrific. Just NO. I got a bridge there at a cost of over 2500. It fell out in less than two years and they refused to replace it. They even said it was probably my fault. I went to a new dentist and they assured me it was the lack of quality in the bridge and the install. DO NOT GO THERE. Pay a little more at a real dentist and get real work done.
Canandaigua location review:Best staff & customer service! They make you feel comfortable and take the worry out of the dentist! If you dread going to the dentist, the staff at the Canandaigua location will change your mind! They work with you to decide the best treatment for you and never try to get you to pay for any work you dont need!
Very friendly personnel. Answered and explained all my questios. Accommodating with my appointment schedule along with my husbands. Total visit was a pleasure with such nice people who are more down t earth and not trying to get every penny out of you for dental work that is not immediate. Really made us feel welcome.
The women that helped me at Aspen Dental in Canandaigua we’re SO helpful. Gave me awesome recommendations for treatments, told me exactly what was going on, and even helped me activate my HSA card 😂😂 The assistant who assisted me, I believe her name is Natalie although my memory is now failing me, was extremely kind, gentle, and extremely helpful. Good stuff!
I went to this place twice, and both times I was treated like cattle at a factory farm. Then the bills came, which were not correct. I reached out to discuss a billing issue twice (and twice I never received a call back as promised). Then I got Jen in customer service, who became very nasty immediately and hung up on me. For anyone considering this place, do yourself a favor and look for a office of respectable professionals - you wont find that at Canandaigua Aspen Dental.
I made an appointment over the phone just to talk about a treatment and see if this was the right dentist to me and was told that was fine.I went to my appointment they ask me a bunch of questions none related to my concerns at all. They then told me it seemed like I needed dental surgery and they didnt even look at my teeth after going back and forth. I agreed to let them take x-rays. They said I had five problem teeth as they could tell then it went from five problem teeth to six teeth then to four teeth then to one tooth then to nine teeth. Then they told me I needed a wisdom tooth removed that I didnt even have as I had , had it removed before.I didnt go back to a follow up appointment. Will definetly never make an appointment with this dentist office ever again.
I went there for 2 fillings everyone was nice. My doctor was very quiet hard to hear her but very professional. I was scared heard a lot of bAd things about aspen dental but she did a great job. The lobby needs cleaning other than that I cant wait for my next visit. Thank all of you!
I wouldnt even have given one star but I had to.. The girls at the front desk and the dental assistants were really nice but the dentist was the worst car sales man Ive ever encountered. Not one care about my heath considering my face is swollen pretty back. He was more concerned with trying to sell dentures or partials. Made everything sound really great. Till I heard the price if getting 5 teeth pulled. Ill never go back there again.and dont recommend anyone under middle class to go there. Were not goid enough with our small paychecks and theyd rather send you away unhealthy than help you with your health
I have never been to a dentist office where they do the x-rays and make you come back a different day for the cleaning not only that when you were a member of an insurance youre supposed to accept the assignment of what the insurance pays for not accept with the insurance gives you and try to get money out of a customer for services youre supposed to accept what they give you. They want you to come back three and four times so they could get more money out of your insurance I will never go back and I will not tell any friends to go there. The doctor was very nice.
When I scheduled the appointment the with the call center we realized they didnt except my insurance so I told the woman thank u I would call elsewhere she says oh no the first appointment with Aspen dental is completely free an then they will refer you to a office which excepts your insurance I so ok I guess but I would rather just go where my insurance is accepted she said no an assured me this was the right way to go. So I went to the appointment everyone was very nice they took 30 xrays an a 3d mouth scan then a dental hygienist told me I had gingivitis an needed severe treatment. Then the actual dentist came in asked me a few questions looked in my mouth for 10 seconds told me I had good teeth an left . They said I would talk to the front desk an schedule my next appointment an out I went. When I spoke to the next person about next visit she says so you dont have insurance an this is what your treatment will cost an showed me the screen 2000 plus dollars I go what I have insurance Im not gonna schedule that appointment with you that would be crazy ahe goes yea I know. So I left this was one of the biggest wastes of my time ever Aspen dental complete scam looking to suck money from people sorry not gonna happen with me .
My experience today at Aspen Dental was very disappointing. I went to see them to get a cavity filled. My regular dentist was unavailable for several months so I thought I go there instead of waiting. Bad move on my part. The restroom was dirty as well as the baseboards in the exam area. One of the xray machines was also broken. They didnt open the instruments in front of me and got offended when I asked about them being sterile. I dont know how long they were setting out or if they were used before me and just rinsed off. The cavity that I had checked just last week was now according to them needing a root canal and a crown. to the tune of $1700. This is after they applied a $500 discount for self paying customers. The doctor did not try to gain my confidence or trust and just assumed that I took whatever he said as gospel. He was not happy about being questioned about the treatment discrepancy. He simply stated that he would not do a filling only a root canal and crown. Also white I was there at least 2 people came in complaining about how there dentures fit. I thought I would try the place as a co work as had work done there and likes the place. I personally felt like they just wanted to fleece me. Extremely disappointed in the place.
I feel the tools looked dingy (Im sure they were clean, just old) and I wish there was more privacy with the x-ray process. You are in an open room facing the reception desk and your results are displayed for all to see. The people at the desk seem stand-offish but the hygienist and x-ray tech were nice. Dentist seemed knowledgeable and may have caught things my previous dentist did not...or was trying to make $$ by pushing unnecessary procedures. Hard to tell.
Went for a new patient appointment expecting xrays and a cleaning. Only got xrays and a 5 minute exam from the dentist and was informed I needed a deep cleaning for gingivitis. We have GREAT insurance and our was going to cost $425 AFTER INSURANCE! I looked at the fees and they wanted to charge me $135 for an oral b toothbrush. I feel scammed. Not to mention this deep cleaning requires two separate appointments. Ill be getting a second opinion from a different dentist to see if my gingivitis warrants a deep cleaning. I have nothing bad to say about any employee- they were all professional and courteous but this place feels like a car dealership.
Horrible experience. I went last Monday because I couldnt get into my main dentistdat the time. I was told I needed a root canal or tooth extraction along with several other small cavities. This causes me to have severe anxiety. So I of course went to my main dentist for a second opinion, and found out they Aspen was completely full of it. I had a cavity that was fairly large but saved with a filling, and only had two small cavities on none of the teeth they said I had cavities on. They didnt look at my teeth, show me the x-rays and passed me along like I was nothing. I would not recommend at all. I was told I had 3500 worth in damages to my mouth and the total cost for regular dentist visit was only 80.00 Aspen is a huge rip off and a scam.
My mother is 90 years old. Her dentures are 70 years old. A week before Christmas the front tooth in her bottom plate fell out and the plate was cracked. She was so afraid she was going to have to go with out her teeth for the holiday. We called Aspen and they got her right in and within hours we had her plate fixed!! They were so awesome with my mother and I. And the price was VERY affordable!! So thank you to all at Aspen Dental in Canandaigua, NY!! We are very grateful!!
I love Aspen Dental in Canandaigua, NY. I have been a patient there since they opened their doors. It was great to finally have a dentist that actually accepted by dental insurance. The cleanliness of the office, the appearance of the employees, is top notch. I would recommend this office to anyone.
It is my great pleasure to praise the Canandaigua Office of Aspen Dental.I cannot begin to say how very satisfied I am with the excellent service and the people at this office. I was particularly happy with Dr. Sai Mandava and Jen, their Dental Assistant. I’m not saying that anyone should abandon their relationship with their dentist. However, if you are looking for a dentist, for whatever reason, I highly recommend the people at the Canandaigua Aspen Dental. In my opinion you cannot find anyone better in the business.First, I have never had a procedure suggested to me, or done on me, without a good reason. They, and I, have always been sure anything done was necessary.I have actually lost count of the number of appointments I’ve had with this office over the years. My most recent visit was on 7/17/20 for a cleaning. Other procedures they have done for me were 11/17/15 and 12/11/15. The appointment on 11/17/15 was a follow up on a root canal. There is no reason to fear a root canal at this dental practice. Dr. Iswara Parvathaneni completed one on me that was completely painless during the procedure and after the procedure requiring no pain medication. The result was better than anything I could have expected. At the follow up on 11/17/15 it was suggested that I have a crown put on the tooth that had had the root canal. If I didn’t, the tooth would get brittle and I would be in far more trouble than I would want. The staff scheduled me for my 6 month cleaning as well as the crown for 12/11/15 saving me a return trip.Melissa, the Dental Hygienist, started by doing the cleaning with her usual light touch, friendly manner and strict attention to detail along with suggestions along the way on how to improve my own dental hygiene at home. I next went to start the procedure for the crown. This time, instead of Dr. Parvathaneni the dentist was a slightly younger version of him, Dr. Sai Mandava. I was a little apprehensive for a second but it became clear I was in equally good hands. Dr. Mandava is a highly skilled dentist with a gentle touch and patients of an artist. He requires of himself, like Dr. Parvathaneni, that the job be done perfectly. Dr. Mandava, with the aid of Jen, his Dental Assistant, essentially sculpted/rebuilt a tooth for me with no pain at all. They conversed with each other in a way that assured me these two were terrific professionals and were a great team together. The temporary crown they made for me fits as good, if not better, that my original tooth. They took their time to make sure of that.Again, I cannot be happier with this dental practice and assure you would be too.
This Aspen Dental office is beautiful and very professional and helpful. Everyone is personable and even though I dont have the best dental insurance they always talk me through everything and help me make the best decisions. I see the hygienist, Riley, most often and shes awesome!
PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! I went to Aspen because I only recently move to the area and didnt know where else to go. They presented me with a dental plan for some 14 cavities needing fillings and 4 potential root canals. I needed my wisdom teeth out because of pain, so I got that taken care of first. I reacted very poorly to the medication and Aspen was not helpful in giving information for post care. I went back for a check -in seven days after surgery because of intense pain and jawache. They looked at my mouth and said everything was fine. They did some new x-rays and said that it was typical to be still in pain after getting my wisdom teeth out. It was not typical pain. At this point I went to a different dentist, and they told me that it looked like the previous dentist had knocked a filling loose in a molar during the wisdom tooth extraction. The entire tooth was infected into the jaw and they could fix it after I go on antibiotics. Aspen Dental never gave any sort of follow up call to see how I was dealing with my pain. Its fine to make mistakes, but to not own up to it, and to not care or believe that I was in pain was really frustrating for me. Oh! And the new dentist was able to fix several of my cavities and the need for root canals was exaggerated.
Office and personal are very nice. However they were a bit to insistent that I have an expensive fluoride treatment which I turned down. Also, no dentist came into look at my mouth after the cleaning. Everywhere else I have ever gone a dentist looked at my teeth. It was okay
We called Aspen dental about getting the free check up and x-ray for new patients with no insurance. The woman who answered the call seemed nice, took down our information (name, DOB, etc), and scheduled an appointment. It was not until we got to the facility for the appointment that they told us you must be at least 21. Maybe Aspen Dental should be more upfront and honest about their terms and conditions, instead of lying and telling us that he qualified for the free exam.
I am the same as most people, skeptical on going to the dentist. After finding Aspen Dental through my Dental Insurance company, my fears and doubts could be set to ease.My experience at Aspen Dental has been completely and utterly amazing. The staff are highly skilled and professional at their jobs. Everytime I come through the door I feel welcome and appreciated. I would suggest to anyone in the area to become a new patient at Aspen Dental, youll be happy that you did.
Michael, had an excellent experience at Aspen Dental. He received a speedy appt. to resolve his broken crown. He also appreciated everyones friendliness! He was told he needed a root canal in another dentist practice in the area & we know he had one quite awhile ago when he received his 1st crown on the same tooth. So to say the least he was thrilled not to have to have another root canal. So thank you Aspen Dental..From the Scullis
My emergency appointment was scheduled the same day. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I was examined, prescribed penicillan and referred to an endodontist. Also all this was free because we dont have dental insurance. We had scheduled an appointment with our previous dentist since we moved and didnt know anyone here, but will probably end up changing eventually since it is three hours away. The only problem is that it was difficult to get the X-ray equipment around my infected molar and it ended causing bruising and swelling in that area. I waited to submit the review because I wanted to see if there would be further problems from this. Otherwise I would have given five stars instead of four.
The dental assistant and office staff were very friendly and did thier work well- they deserve all 5 stars. The one star review was because the dentist, Dr Kashi, was the worst dentist I have ever experienced. He was quick, cut corners and did a procedure that I did not ask to have done, without my approval. The work he did was poorly done as well. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Aspen Dental Corporate office. I do not recommend Dr Kashi and will advise everyone I know not to go to him. I am angry about my terrible dental work.
Usually against national providers, but the staff, Dentists and Hygienists have all been fantastic. I went in for a filling on a wisdom tooth that ended up having to be pulled. I had had one pulled by an oral surgeon a few years ago that required conscious sedation, and the process and recovery were awful. Due to the fact that the tooth was already drilled, they took it out that day. It was amazingly painless, and they had called in antibiotics and pain meds to my pharmacy before I was even done so they were ready when I got there.
It was my first time there and wasnt expecting to be kept waiting. Also was taken in after my appointment time and I arrived early. When the hygienist came in and talking to me she seemed very blunt or idk how else to explain it but I wasnt too happy but may be that is her not sure. The staff seem pretty friendly.
I have a fear of dentists. I have had the same dentist for 20 years and he has never made me feel comfortable. In fact, my last visit was so bad I haven’t been back in over 2 years. I just had a tooth break and was in need of immediate attention as my daughter’s wedding was just 2 weeks away and a broken/missing tooth would of been very embarrassing. I called and they were able to get me in the next day. Dr. Kashi and all of his staff were absolutely amazing. My tooth had to be pulled but they were able to add that tooth into my partial in just a few days and now I can smile again. I have another appointment scheduled for a filling and will continue using Aspen Dental in Canandaigua for all my dental care needs. I highly recommend them!!!
Fully partnered with my insurance yet quoted me over $900 for a deep cleaning. Went to another NON partnered dentist and paid $85 oop for the same service. With NO insurance it was $470 so it is a scam from Apen. Non friendly staff, very rude and refuses to send records when requested, claiming they dont know what a release of records form is.
I have dentures that are 3 years old in need of a reline. These are supposed to be a 7 year warranty and the tell me after a 25% discount it is 680.00. Thats crazy. I called Loch Dental they will reline them for 232.00 per arch half the price and they arent even their dentures. So dont expect Aspen Dental to cover jack under the warranty. Very disappointed and will not recommend to any one. If I could I would give no stars.
Went for lower partial and had to have some teeth extracted. The extraction was done but in the process they broke a good tooth. Not only was I pissed but they didnt care. Well had to have crown put on and some fillings. Got the partial made and the crown fell out within 24 hours. Once everything was set I went on my way. Within 6 months the crown fell out once again and noticed the fillings they did was falling out. Now I ask for a REFUND A D THEY REFUSE!!!!! LOUSY DENTAL WORK AND THEY DONT BACK IT UP!!!!!! I went to a REAL dentist and d Im in the process of full dentures because of their LOUSY WORK.STAY FAR AWAY FROM ASPEN DENTAL!!!!! You now know of the filthy so called practice.
Ive had four or five appointments with the fourth resulting in the extracting of molar and the insertion of a partial bottom plate. Just went back the day after and was very happy with the whole procedure at Aspen Dental in Canandaigua, NY. Dr. Kahn and his assistant Kasia were very professional and friendly. They treated me as a person not just as another patient. I will continue going back to Aspen for my routine cleaning and any other dental treatment necessary. Very good experience. The pricing was right as well as I must add all the staff were great. Thank You all. Paul Glanzel
Aspen dental made me feel like I was equal and helped me get over some bad past experiences with other dentist that made me never want to see a dentist again. The staff treated me with respect and talked about what we could do to fix my problems vs trying to scare me in to the work like other dentist I highly recommend the canandaigua location AAAAAA+++++++++
As new patient they provided me details of the basic routine clean up and sent a totally different bill. When called to ask rudeness is an under statement - wouldn’t even let me ask the question and kept saying “let me cut you right here” !! Do not recommend them at all - the entire staff seems to have don’t care attitude!!
I have delayed dental care for years and finally had to give in because I broke a tooth. I needed a root canal, fillings and wisdom teeth extraction. I had the root canal yesterday. I was going to call and cancel but the receptionist assured me that I would be fine. I got there and got right in. I told the dentist my fears and just the first minute of meeting him, I felt better. He shot me up with novicane and I never felt a thing. Even the day after I feel fine. I will not fear going back for the rest of my care.
I have had nothing but problems from the first day I set foot in Aspen Dental Canandaigua. Every procedure Ive had done has had to be redone or fixed because the dentists cant seem to so anything right the first time and then they blame the patient for it. The assistants are rough and jam things into your mouth, causing pain. I dont think anyone working there has to have any experience whatsoever. If you value your time, money and health, stay far away from this place.
They told me to come in for a new patient appointment and the x-rays and exam would be free. I said I have medicare and Medicaid I emfusized the is many times. oh its ok this first part will be free regardless well they lied I got there and they told me that was a lie. Sorry for the inconvenience. Ugh Im beyond pissed. If I could give a lower rating I would. Talk about false advertising. Im never going to this place again!!!!
Get rid of the sign in & greet your patients. Stop talking & reviewing chart behind the patients back. Take off your website that you accept walkins and that youre open evenings & Saturdays. Stop snapping your rubber gloves from patients mouth to check patients bite. Very unprofessional! If a patient asks if the surgeon on site also does bone grafting make sure your staff knows that is a NO. $110.00 for nothing. Not even a referral. Just try Strong. Thanks for nothing.
I can not say enough about the excellant care that Riley had provided during my dental cleaning this past week, she was very considerate of my sensitive teeth while providing a topical pain ointment that did the trick. I never once experienced pain or discomfort from the time I had gotten into the chair then upon my time to leave-NO PAIN what so ever! I was very impressed. Riley also made feel as though I was a passenger and she was the driver, great communication-comfortable from the first moment meeting Riley, she helps you feel as though you are there for a Family visit instead of a cleaning. I cant say enough for I recieved 5 star treatment, and I do not doubt everyone recieves this care when Riley is working. Ill be back for my next cleaning, that is for certain. I had missed several cleanings at other Dental offices due to the pain level involved, yet not while at Canandaigua Aspen Dental Office.I also have to say that Sidney is very kind and understanding while going over the insurance coverage versus out of pocket. Sidney makes me feel as there is no question that is too embarassing to ask.Way to go Aspen Dental out of Canandaigua,NY keep the fantastic employees-kudos for sure!
Initial Post 2016 or thereabouts: All personnel very cheery and helpful. Couldnt be happier.UPDATE DECEMBER 3, 2019 Re New DDS LESIA PIRMAND:Dr. P (Iswara Parvathaneni, DDS the owner) and Dr. Kashi were great with my 90 year old Dad, but new DDS Lesia Pirmand is a real piece of work!! Refused to let me, his daughter and caregiver, observe/be present, as I have always done in the past. I should have recognized this as a RED FLAG and left right then and there, unfortunately, I submitted to her wishes and sat out in the waiting room. When Office Manager confronted me explaining that this was Office Policy, I asked for a copy of the policy. What she provided me with was no more than was posted on the wall in the waiting room with NO mention of the supposed policy not allowing me to be present. (Consultation with Dads dentist, as the ADA recommends, was never a problem in the past, as a matter of fact it was welcomed.) Dad now has a mouth full of gold that looks hideous!! I take offense at PIRMANDs approach, using my Dad as a Guinea Pig for her sloppy dental work! : (Still OK for periodontal cleanings ( The dental assistants and hygienists at Canandaigua Aspen are all great to work with! ) but for anything requiring a DDS STAY AWAY!!
My only concern is the communication between the dentist and my cardiologist is lacking. I dont care whose fault it is. I have a lower jaw filled with teeth that need to come out. I cannot praise the office staff and assistants enough. They are beautiful, helpful and kind. They went way overboard to help me.
Due to medical treatment I had to have all my teeth extracted and begin wearing dentures at only 24 years old, then in 2010 both my kidneys failed and I was diagnosed with kidney failure, I spent months in the hospital and during those months they wouldnt give me my dentures. Well time went by and I lost a lot of weight (unintentionally) which caused a lot of changes, especially to my mouth. My dentures became too big and I could no longer wear them. It has been hard for me to find time to go in and get refitted for a new pair but I found an opening recently and all I can say is WOW. I am so happy with my new dentures, and they worked very hard to get them small enough for me to have room to open my mouth and chew, I cant thank them enough!
Jeanette did not go the Aspen Dental. I am Jeanettes husband Richard who was x-rayed examined and talked to the hygienist at Aspen Dental. When finished I had 3 cavities to treat and needed cleaning for $6,169. I was told that I did not have dental insurance with GEHA. I got home and called GEHA who said I had insurance. I called Aspen Dental and gave them the phone number of GEHA for them to call and verify my insurance so that they could revise the cost of their treatment plan. That was three days ago and I have not heard back from them.Richard Sturmer
Why is it all about that the $$$ at Aspen. My 6 year old needed an evaluation for his teeth and the hygienist just wanted to clean his teeth. She got upset that we wasted her time with a evaluation. Only 2 stars because the evaluation got done and not the cleaning . Not going back there again.
Was just ok they screwed my temps up had to go back many times before they made new ones and when it came to making my permanent dentures they didnt fit right and were set to far back making it look like i didnt have teeth in and when i brought them back they told me with a bit of attitude i would be charged for new one . three stars is being kind and only because of a few that were nice and tried to be helpful
I feel like we were scammed by this dentist. Charged over $1000 after insurance and was in the docs office for 10 minuets and all done. Not even sure what procedure they did!!! Unfortunately my husband doesn’t speak fluent English and I wasn’t there to speak. Wow it’s amazing doctors get away with things like this and take advantage of people. Very disappointed.
These people suck. I called to ask for help bc my wisdom teeth are coming in. I told them I was in a lot of pain and had tried Tylenol, ibuprofen, orajel, heating pads, ice, salt water, and nothing was working. I was told I had to come in or they couldnt help me. The earliest for an appointment is Monday. Its Friday. They have my records bc I went in before and the dentist told me I didnt need my wisdom teeth pulled they just had to come in so when I asked if I could get something for the pain bc I didnt want to come in only to be told that couldnt give me anything for the pain so all I do was spend money ($60) for no solution if I walked in. I was told to try urgent Care. Urgent Care said they cant bc they arent a dentist and so did the ER. So this place sucks. They wouldnt help me when I needed help. When you say youre in pain and they say they can see you Monday? And you push the issue and you get told you can walk in but they dont know when theyll be able to see you if you do that, you all need to be more helpful.
This is like the fast food of the dentistry world. They wont allow you to come in 5-10 minutes late even after you drive 25min in bad weather and print out all of the forms you fill out online. Dont bother with this place unless you want to be treated like an express ticket number at the dmv
Second cleaning in a row where I had to wait +20 mins after the cleaning was over for the Dentist to come in. Last time they had to move me to another room while I waited, this time, I said forget it and left... what a joke... Goodby Aspen Dental, you just lost my business and my family of 6.

2022-07-05They are absolutely amazing greatest experience I ever had at a dental office. Samantha (Sam) figured out my cost helped me get a discount and stayed in touch with me throughout the process. The tech (Ken) brought me back to be positive that my impressions were perfect so my teeth would be amazing. Highly recommend them definitely sending everyone I know there.

2022-05-14I went there for a filling and I get very nervous going to the dentists. The dentist and assistant dentist made laugh during the procedure for the first time ever going to the dentists. They were very accommodating and made the whole experience enjoyable. I hope anybody shares the same positive experience I had. 6/5 to the whole the Aspen dental team.

2022-03-07Please beware of this place. My husband and I both went to Aspen Dental as new patients and we both had a negative experience. I was told they would not do a cleaning on my teeth because I needed a “deep clean” due to gum disease. They also quoted me a crazy amount for this procedure and tried selling me a $100 toothbrush. The hygienist was very rude as well. I decided to get a second opinion and went to a different dentist. As it turns out, I actually do not have gum disease at all! I knew something wasn’t right with what Aspen was telling me and “selling me.”

2022-08-05Everyone I encountered was wonderful and handled this anxiety ball with care. Thank you for being so understanding, compassionate, and friendly. I love going to any business and seeing the staff interacting positively with each other in an organic way.

2022-04-14My first experience with Aspen Dental was quick and painless, and all of the staff was professional and courteous. They thoroughly answered any questions I had and the transparency of the price breakdown of my treatment plan made me confident that things will continue to go well.

2022-05-02They were all very nice! Didn’t charge me for the consultation visit and are charging less than $150 for the cleaning. I have Medicaid insurance so my choices were very limited.

2022-07-03On July 1 2022 I had a root canal done in Canandaigua, N.Y. I was nervous about the procedure, but the doctor and his assistant kept me calm. They let me know step by step what was happening. That evening after the novacaine wore off, I had no pain, not even sensitivity. I would recommed Aspen Dental to everyone for their dental work.\/

2022-03-15STAY AWAYI would have given no stars if that were an option. I brought my elderly mom ( in her 90’s) to get new dental bridges. In one appointment, Aspen Dental extracted all of her natural teeth. She likely approved it due to her advanced age. As I waited in the waiting room, after some time, she came out with no one accompanying her. She was bleeding profusely from her mouth. From that point on, her health went downhill. She was subsequently not able to tolerate the new dentures. My mom died not too long after that.

2022-03-30They are super unprofessional. They push you out the door just so they can go home on time. They do not make sure you are satisfied with your care. You expect for the amount of money you spend your mouth will be the same if not better when you leave well my mouth was worse. Never go here.
