Aspen Dental in other cities:
They got me in the same day I called. I just cannot believe it costs over $600 for one filling and to have my teeth clean!! I do have insurance but they do not take it. I was in a bind and needed it done sooner than my normal dentist could get me in so I had no choice. The staff was extremely friendly and the hygienist way the best and made sure I was in no pain. Just wish they took my insurance and it didn’t cost me an arm and leg to get it done
With the exception of the dentist, staff person Michaela, and a tech assistant (Alicia?), staff members have been some of the least kind and considerate we have encountered lately and bordering on pushy and rude - strange considering a health facility and with lots of service options today. Facts & timing were not readily forthcoming until many questions were asked. Michaela worked to find out answers, listen and communicate. Have your specific questions ready and written out regarding your procedures especially if multiple steps are involved-or look elsewhere for comparisons.
Had a great experience. Fast service, very nice people and knowledgeable.Update 11/11--Although the support staff is more than awesome to deal with, my experience with the doctor has made me decide that I will not be going back to that office. 1st it was the first time i had seen this woman and she acted like she had something better to do. She had no clue what I had done previously. When i said there was still pain on the left side she looked at my bottom teeth. The extractions were on top. She adjusted my partial handed it back and said you have our number and turned around to her computer.Maybe it me, but if im paying you a good sum of money for a service, the least you can do is be attentive and friendly.
I have been coming to Aspen dental for a number of years. I could not be more happy for myself and my daughter. Kate is an absolute gem. She makes every visit personal and does a wonderful job! We will miss her dearly as she will be relocating to the south. I will anticipate the continuation of exceptional visits as the staff are all great there!
I am always VERY nervous about having any dental work done. My last appointment was with the oral surgeon, and I was barely able to convince myself to show up! Fortunately, Dr. Tin and his team (Kasinda and Robert) were very compassionate and efficient, and it was over with before I knew it.Edited, 12/23/20: Dont waste your time. The entire staff has been replaced, and I will be looking for a new dental provider immediately.
I was really impressed with the staff and efficiency at Aspen Dental. Everyone was very friendly, courteous, and very professional. They were great about breaking down the cost of the work I had done (I just had X-rays and a cleaning), but they kept me informed every step of the way. Dr. Michel didnt try to make me get extra work done like some places have in the past to get more money. I really wasnt sure what to expect going in there, but they were the best dental clinic Ive ever been to.
I highly recommend Aspen Dental of Dunkirk. When I walked into the office felt right at home. When having x-Rays taken, the dental assistants were very informative on why they had to be done. Dr. Michel is very knowledgeable and his chair-side manner is perfect. He explained everything he was going to do in terms that even I could understand. He sure is one of a kind. The office is very high-tech and clean. Great office and excellent staff. The staff actual cared about me and I didnt just feel like a number. If your looking for a professional care from a dentist, look no further than this place.
Office manager was great! She explained my options in detail. However, I felt the receptionist staff less welcoming when I first entered. The hygienist who took my xrays was amazing, the dentist was very nice and compassionate. Im actually looking forward to getting two extractions tomorrow :)
We waited two weeks for our initial appointment. We go to check in and they say “ we tried to call you to cancel your appointment” .... no they didn’t.... no call or email no voicemail NO NOTHING.... that was 11Am... so we wait another two weeks and we come in and out of nowhere our insurance isn’t accepted meanwhile we called and checked to see if our insurance was accepted and they said YES on multiple phone calls. This place does not seem organized and does not put in extra effort to look out for its new patients... thank Yahweh we didn’t even get seen...
So, apparently, they dont do emergencies. I lost a veneer, am in pain and they told me they would have to do an entire new patient exam. Then said they could get me in tomorrow. I said, I am missing a front tooth and it is very sensitive. Would you like to wait until tomorrow??I worked as a dental assistant for 30 years and Ultradent Products for 20. I work in Dunkirk now and has this emergency this morning. Not to worry, I bet one of your competitors will be happy to see me and fix my issue of not having a front tooth in front of my customers this morning.
I can’t speak to what their treatment is like, just the service. I made an appointment for my daughter who had been serving out of the country for over a year. It was for an exam and cleaning. She’s only going to be in town for a week. Two days later their office called me back, said that they only do exams first then schedule a cleaning later ( no explanation as to why) and, I asked them to make an exception in her case and they refused. The scheduler actually sounded enthused about canceling her appointment. So the whole “walk-ins welcome” to make it seem like they are more flexible practice is not true.
Aspen Dental is the best dentist office I have ever had. Everyone is quite polite, friendly, and very experienced in their profession. I did not feel nervous at all like I usually do at the dentist. I am appreciative of being qualified for financing because I wouldnt have been able to get my treatment without it. I feel better already and look forward to my next appointment. Thank you very much.
My wife and I received very good service from the Dunkirk New York Aspen Dental and I would highly recommend them to others. All those who served us where courteous and professional. I felt that the price quoted for care was extremely fair. We are looking forward to our next visit.
Everyone at the office was very professional and kind hearted. From the 1st step in the door there kind and helpful. Both The office managers were very polite and help me get the care I needed. Dr. Yumang and his assistant Pam were very helpful and I plan to go back soon for the crown they suggested.I highly recommend this office for any dental issues you have whether they’re small or big.
My experience was terrible. I recently changed employers, therefore I was forced to find a new dentist in my network. Aspen was the closest in proximity to my home so I scheduled an appointment. My appointment was scheduled for 9- I arrived and checked in at 8:35- I sat in the waiting room for and hour and 15 minutes. When the dental assistant took me back she took my X-rays and told me she would have to return me to the waiting room. Trying to be understanding I complied. I waited another 30 minutes to be called back. The assistant sat me in the chair and said I would imagine it will be close to another hour before the doctor is with you, hes the only one here today and theres still two people ahead of you that have yet to be seen ahead of you. I replied if I would have known Id spend 4 hours waiting to see a doctor I wouldve gone to buffalo. I left the office without even seeing a doctor. I immediately called a different dentist in my network. I will gladly take my hard earned coverage and money elsewhere.
I have severe dental anxiety. The whole staff was wonderful. My dentist was super down to earth and knew how anxious I was. He made me feel very comfortable. A HUGE bonus is they are partners with my insurance and the cost was WAY less than I could have ever imagined! I would send anyone here! I have oral surgery scheduled for a few weeks and I know will be in great hands!
Dont go to aspen dental they dont listen to what you want and rip you off. I explained to Dunkirk how I could not get to Dunkirk to pick up my partial plate they dont have it. It has been a horrible experience from the start. They Dont listen to what you want. I would tell anyone not to go to this place. Now I have no teeth and no financial way to start again.
Ive been coming here for a few years now and they definitely know what they are doing. Clean facility, friendly staff, and great service. I always see the dental hygienist Kate, she keeps me updated on the latest hygiene products and she never lets me leave unsatisfied. Would recommend to anyone.
I will never recommend Aspen Dental to ANYONE!!! I have been going there for 9 months and technicians still ask when they seat you what you are there for? I said to the one tech, remember when I was in last time,(10 days ago) you told me this? And his reply was, I see hundreds of patients a week, I dont remember! One office person shoved a folder in my face and said, How do you plan to pay for this? And her tone of voice was not pleasant. They are a business that only cares for the money, not the person. No small talk from most of them. But, there are also some nice ones, I have to say that.
I have been looking for a dentist that accepted my insurance. I was nervous about going to Aspen Dental. I want to say to anyone that might hesitate about going to Aspen Dental in Dunkirk, shouldnt. They have a wonderful, friendly staff that treats their customers like family. They are reasonable; especially with insurance!! I have been to many dentists through the years, but Dr. Michel is one of the most gentle, pleasant, and excellent dentists Ive been to. I am a very happy customer!!
Went in for a regular cleaning ending up needing 3 fillings was able to do it that same week thanks to Taylor with the pricing and payment options, and Cassandra for being there through my teeth filling making the experience not as bad of a time and for Dr. Carlson who did my 3 fillings in such a memorable time.
The people there are wonderful. Our insurance doesn’t cover fluoride treatments, which is fine with me but was told the cost for one fluoride treatment was 42$.. seriously for one little squirt of fluoride? A bit outrageous! Maybe the whole bottle would cost that but not one shot!
Got right in for an appointment then to full xrays then hygeniest for evaluations gave me options with the Dentist then to meet with girls for options and pricing... I just wanted tooth pulled. Made my payment but have to come back different day for extraction. Had other things planned after the 2.5 hours of sitting So glad they are efficient but could of done exams on different day and just taken the tooth. To me there was a priority and a cleaning wasnt at top.
This place is a NIGHTMARE!!!!THE WAITING ROOM HAD A ROOM FULL OF PAIYENTS THAT WERE WAITING FOR 2 HOURS OR MORE. the receptionist stated that they only had 1 dentist and he was in the middle of a procedure and they dont know how long it would. Probably at least 1 to 2 hour wait. She stated that they were understaffed.I had made the appointment due to a horrible toothache I was having. I told the receptionist when I made the appointment that I had swelling in my face, a sore throat., earache, head and neck pain. After sitting there for 20 minutes a secretary brought me back and told me that they needed to do x-rays and have a consultation today with the dentist before they could do anything. They also said that I would have to pay out of pocket even though I have dental insurance. They stated the preliminary free new patient xrays were just to see what is going on in general with my teeth, and to give me a plan of care, not to diagnose the problem I was having with the tooth, even though that is why I went there initially for x-rays and a consultation to fix the tooth. They said even though I was there for a severe toothache, nothing would be done today. I would have to be seen at another time in addition to today to fix the problem. I stated , when I called for the appointment that I was having all the symptoms that I had mention and wanted the tooth extracted. If I knew they were not going to do anything today I would have went somewhere else and they probably would have called in an antibiotic to my pharmacy 4 days ago. I feel that just because they were so backed up and there was no way they would have even gotten to the other people waiting in the office before they closed in an hour and a half.I left and contacted another dentist in the area who called in an antibiotic to my pharnacyUntil I could be brought in for an extraction. My point in all this is that places like Aspen Dental are all so commercialized, and that there is something to be said for your local hometown dentist who cares about you as person, not just a another face. I am so disappointed in this place.
Waited 4 months for an appointment for my son to get a tooth pulled and a filling at another dentists office, had to reschedule that appointment when it finally came because of a family emergency and was kicked out of the practice for cancelling. Was wait listed at another location pediatric dentist. He woke up with tooth pain today, I called Aspen dental and they got him in within an hour. They did x-rays, we saw a hygenist, the dentist and his assistant. They pulled the baby tooth that was bothering him along with 2 other baby teeth that needed to come out to make room for the adult teeth. Theyve scheduled us two appointments in the next week to get his filling done his teeth cleaned and to remove 2 more baby teeth that need to go in order to make room for his adult teeth. The entire staff was wonderful and efficient. Thanks guys for saving the day!
Loved Loved Loved Dr. Todd! His personality was A+ while maintaining professionalism. Never even felt the numbing injection. He did a great job filling in the chip in the front visible part of my bottom tooth. I cant even tell there was a chip there! Best Dentist I can ever remember going to and Im 54 years old!
I had a botched dental procedure at another dentist office on a Friday and a few hours later I was in the worst pain of my life. Aspen had a 24hr phone line and I was able to get the tooth completely taken care of on monday, even though I was a new patient. The dentist was extremely kind and conscientious of my pain level throughout the whole procedure.
This was a nightmare!! The front desk girls were great! The dentist was horrible!! All she cared about was finances!! Seriosly!? Didnt spent 20 seconds with me, and took others before me when I was there 10 minutes before them, we all were scheduled at same time!! Dont go there!!!
What a joke. Went in because I was having trouble with a tooth. After x rays and talking to dentist he said I needed a root canal and a couple fillings. BUT none of that could be done without a $2000 deep scaling and cleaning. When I asked what was wrong with tooth that was hurting, the Tech said dentist didn’t look at that tooth and he had to come back in. All in all, people were nice but this in a scam outfit. Handed me an estimate for almost $6000. The itemized things on there were ridiculous. Water to rinse and a $135 toothbrush just to name a couple. I took the estimate and left. Called and saw a real dentist. Work done for less than $500. Do not fall for this place.
This place is terrible, the people who work there havent had barely any training. They arent hygienists and they dont know what they are doing! The guy who says he is a dentist reached in and jabbed me with the hook, and tried to pull my filling right out! I now have to go and spend a thousand dollars to get it fixed, and it has been so uncomfortable.
I went in for pain on the right side of my Mouth. I was Told I needed filling and a deep cleaning. My services were preformed based on my insurance coverage where I paid co-pays up front. After my fillings and cleanings were complete, The pain worsened and now experience extreme sensitivity. My Insurace ceased Aug 15, So I could not make further apts. And just today I recieved a bill for services performed Aug 8th that were billed on Aug 31st which my insurance wont cover along with an added bill for services that were never a part of my services contract. No one in billing has returned my calls. Im very disatisfied and I would not recommend this place.
Have their so called best dentures since september 2017. It is now April 2, 2018 and have had 6 teeth fall out. Been in there once a month since ive had them, to have a tooth put back in. 7 year warranty, they replace them no problem, but wheres the compensation for my time to keep going back. I wont be going back for my next set.
At first I was a little leery .I wanted to get second opinions and third opinions and they all said the same thing. + double the price so I went back to Aspen and accepted what they told me. and I got the work done . and Im very happy that I did. All doctors and staff members are very sweet
I went to Aspen because I was having an occasional toothache, and thought they would be less expensive than my previous dentist. I am on fixed income . Dr Megna told me I had 2 cavities, one where I was having the concern, and one on the other side of my mouth, where I wasnt even having a problem. She thought both looked like they were into the pulp, and both needed root canals and crowns.I have had a root canal in the past, and know how a tooth feels that is in that bad a condition...these didnt feel that bad. Cost for these 2 teeth...$4,400! Also, a third tooth looked like it had microseepage around the filling, and should also be crowned...another $900.00! They did ask if I had insurance, but when I said no, never mentioned the Dental Plans that they participate in, which couldve saved me $1000.I found that out later when I started Googling them. Not being able to afford all this, I went back to my previous Dentist, who is well known, and has been in business for about 20 yrs.for a second opinion. He took some x-rays of those 2 teeth...and couldnt even FIND a cavity!!The tooth I was having some trouble with was irritated . He told me to leave it be for a few days...havent had a problem since! That was almost a month ago!Aspen also said I would have to come in every 4-5 weeks for agressive therapy for my severe gum disease. My previous Dentist said if he had seen gum disease before he would have told me, and doesnt see any sign of it now...the fact that Im 62 yrs old and a smoker, my gums have receeded some, but no bleeding, no disease.!Was it the fact that Im an older, mature woman who they expected had money to spend on keeping her teeth in good shape, as opposed to, perhaps, a college student, who wouldnt be able to afford all this? I dont know that answer, but feel like Aspen was no more than a BIG SCAM, as far as MY experience goes!Oh, by the way... the long term plan was 2 more crowns, for a total of 5, on teeth that were o.k. but had a lot of filling. Total for all this would have been over $10,000 !! I didnt pay that much for my last vehicle!!
On Thursday August 31st I was at work where I got hit in the teeth by a pipe. It knocked out a post and crown and loosened a bridge. I contacted Aspen Dental and made an appointment for 9:30 am Wednesday Sept. 6th. I was told to arrive 15 min early to fill out paperwork. So I arrived at 9:15 filled out my paperwork and waited. Waited till 10:30 when I was finally called in for Xrays and brought into the exam chair where I waited another 20 min. before a dentist arrived and charted my mouth which took about 10 minutes. Then,... The dentist left the exam room presumably to attend to another patient. And there I sat for at least another hour until they remembered I was there. About 10 min. later Precious Smith, the office manager, comes to discuss the financials with me. I walked out of the office at 12:15 pm. A full 3 hours later. I didnt have the correct insurance information with me so I called the next day with my insurance info. Precious informed me shed call Aflac and get back to me. She never did. Two days later I called to discuss the Workers Comp aspect and asked what they would need from my employer and I was told by Precious Smith, the Assistant Office Manager that, We dont deal with work related issues. So,... I guess Im supposed to just go F myself. I was not impressed. I have since contacted another dentist. Please end all contact.Thank you
X-rays were awful. They were not positioned correctly and took so long that my mouth and jaw muscles shook and I was in pain. For the next 2 days my gums hurt so bad it felt like they were bruised. Staff was generally friendly but for an initial visit I was there almost for an hour and a half. Dont think I will be going back.
My experience with aspen dental has been only with dr. Mark siegel. And he was assisted by tara. I am curently in the process of getting inplants put in for my 2 front teeth. At this time i useing a fliper while my gums heal. On jan. 10th 2017 we go to the next phase and get the studs put in. And Im so glad of that. This has been a long process to go threw, but the professionalism of dr. Siegel and tara has been outstanding while performing and explaining each step, and making sure im comfortable during each procedure. That alone means so much. Jolene also has been very helpful explaining everything to me. Im 51 years old and missing my two front teeth has not been easy to deal with. So to aspen dental, and dr. Siegel, tara, Jolene, thank you so much for helping me get my smile back.
I was very happy with the quick appointment date I received. The employees were very helpful, a very pleasant experience. I walked out knowing the costs, and the procedures that needed to be done. I cant comment on the procedure as of yet but so far I totally liked the place.
A place that believes your time is not valuable. Sat in a chair for nearly an hour waiting for a dentist. A well-run office will tell you, Im sorry. Were running an hour behind today. If thats a hardship for you would you like to reschedule? Doctors are not Gods. My time is just as important. Not going back again. Too big a place, impersonal and poorly run.
I m going to Aspen Dental for top dentures did everything like I was suppose to got teeth extracted went back to appointment got my first soft liner as soon as I left office I felt like there was a problem ended up wearing them for time being denture looked horrible made me look like I had bucked teeth so thought this was the way it was suppose to be so consulted friends that actually referred me to Aspen and said definitely that my soft liner was not right so took out soft liner and just dealt with it till I could get into office cause with my job cant just call and go in have to take day off to go to appointment went back and actually told them I wasnt happy I actually had someone else didnt get the same dental assistant so redid my soft liner and felt totally awesome she did a awesome job and so when I go to all my appointments I request her I feel she is the only DA knows what shes doing so never left there unhappy since I had her I want to say if having any problems with youre denture or anything just ask for Jessica she is very caring and compassionate she is wonderful never made me ashamed or anything I would definitely recommend this office to someone but sure do need more DA like her I have not had not one issue with my denture with Jessica Im not trying to make her look good at all but when someone does a good job she should be acknowledged ...JESSICA you Rock it at Aspen dental
Had my free consultation and free x- rays yesterday .they gave me a new patient appointment quick ,staff was friendly and professional .Dr.Todd was the most down to earth dentist I ever met .didnt keep me waiting .made me feel comfortable being there .I was pleased with visit .
Your services were great but I would like to say I was impressed by your receptionist Katie C who went above and beyond for a patient a young mother with a small baby who was getting dental work done Katie held the baby as well as continued to greet people coming in and answering the phone I have told this story to everyone and just how impressed by both Katie and the service I have received thanks Raymond C Pugh Sr.
The staffing is definitely professional and pro active with the people they serve in this community....they work with you through your options and more...Helpful with knowledgeable skills to guide people in the direction they may choose...Jamie,Precious, Joleen....will be there to help in any way possible...The Doctors are friendly and arrange all your needs to the fiullest....Well done AspenDental on this Staff in the Dunkirk area....I have referred friends and family.

2022-05-18I was hesitant to go here at first, as Id heard they can be pushy with costly things and possibly cold. I find that to be far from the truth, the gentleman at the front desk greeted and wished a good day to each customer, Taylor was super nice and reassuring and the female dentist (I believe Dr. Hernandez) was friendly, took a look at my problem area and confirmed the issue. I was super nervous and in pain when I visited, we had a game plan to fix me up within 20 minutes, no one tried to push me into expensive options that I did not need. Not to mention they were the closest and earliest booking dentist within miles! Thanks Aspen!

2022-02-25The receptionist was extremely rude & claimed that there was no way they’d be able to do a cleaning without first coming in to get X-rays & an evaluation then hung up on me. I had X-rays done less than 6 months ago at a prior dentist that they could have easily obtained those records from which I told her. The only reason I didn’t go back to where I received X-rays from for a cleaning is because they don’t have a hygienist available. She wanted to give me a snide remark then hang up the phone like that’s cute. There’s a reason for signing consent to release forms & the X-rays I recently had done could have easily been sent over. Didn’t know it was such a major deal to get a cleaning lol.

2022-03-02Went in for one filling. They ended up doing two and as they were doing it they sliced the tip of my tongue with the polishing drill and then tried to act like it didnt happen. Idk if they thought my tongue was too numb to feel it but my tongue wasnt numb at all and now I cant eat because I have a huge gash in my tongue. Mind you this was after waiting 2.5 weeks to get in after going with severe tooth pain and being told you have a whole in your filling, schedule an appointment with the girl upfront instead of doing the work at that appointment I was already there for..

2021-09-22I am always super nervous about going to the dentist, but Aspen Dental always makes it a great experience! From the office staff, dentist, assistants, and dental hygienist, everyone is friendly and super helpful. They are always really patient and genuinely ready to help with whatever they can. I had two fillings today and they were quick and easy! They really took the time to put me at ease and ask what made me nervous, and I so appreciate that. Thanks for making this nervous patient a little more at ease!

2022-01-06My experience with Aspen Dental’s Dunkirk/Fredonia location today exceeded every expectation I had. The office staff was welcoming, courteous and very helpful. They currently have one of the friendliest, kindest and most professional medical professionals I have ever met on hand. Her positive attitude and demeanor sets the scene for an anxiety free, non-judgemental visit. To top it off, their resident doctor conducts herself in the same manor. I highly recommend giving Aspen a try and believe that the level of service provided by them is their new normal.

2021-10-05Very fast scheduling, very nice staff!! Amanda whole cleaned my teeth was very professional. I have horrible periodontal disease and with out being numbed she made the experience completely painless, so much so that I was surprised. Also her and the dentist whose name I missed explained everything to me so I could understand it and layed out a plan to get my oral care back up to par. They were GREAT !
