Great place to pick up a couple of things but not to do a big shopping. Prices are extremely more then a larger supermarket. Cashiers are not friendly at all. No thank yous or good day..

Best supermarket in the neighborhood. A great selection of products and the friendliest staff you can find anywhere in NY.The deli section has a large variety of fresh salads, cold cuts and cheeses. There is also a good selection of organic fruits, herbs and vegetables.My kids love it when they get a whole lot of candies from them on Halloween.Its a really important and loved part of the neighborhood.

A true White peoples market. You go down the hill to the other market it is night and day!This place is a small spin off of Whole foods. There is a cheese and assorted cured meat section like no other in the area. Here you can find Plant base sausages which I enjoy.And also Vegan yogurt! Oh I believe they many even have fresh bread. This people dont play in here.

Conscientious? No. Why is it I always have to remind the cashiers to ask me if I need a bag? I never carry my own. I’m not dangling car keys for them to assume I’m driving. And do they really think I’m walking away with groceries in my hands? I hope the manager trains them to ask customers who do not appear to have their own bag.4 stars because market has a decent fresh fruits and vegetables section. They also have a good selection of cheeses and specialities.

Back in the mid nineties when I first moved to the heights this was an A&P market that was so terrible I thought Id need to take public transportation just to food shop. The arrangement of the shelves and merchandise was not thought out and the store didnt carry items I liked.Lucky for me a few months later Associated took over the store, a Dominican family, I think, ran it and ran it beautifully. Suddenly the tiny dark cramped store was stocked and seemed spacious and carried a great selection. I shopped there happily until I moved away.

Very clean great attention by workers, very polite the cashier..prices little expensive, I just bought the sales , and a few items!!

Its one of 2 local grocery stores. Much better products after the renovation. Often quite cold, but helps keep products fresher.
