Ive been here a few times now and would definitely recommend it. The Dentist is honest but also seems very skilled. He managed to fix up a tooth that looked like it would need a root canal. The receptionist (Selena) is also very nice and helpful in booking appointments. Cleaning here are always done to a high standard. Id definitely recommend this place.
Awesome care and staff!!! Ive been seeing Dr. David for the past 6 months or so, and have seen him twice for cleanings and and a root canal. He is very careful to explain all the steps so that Im comfortable with the procedures. He also guided me on proper flossing technique and angle my toothbrush correctly - this has greatly improved the way my teeth and gums feel. Truly recommend Astoria Dental Town if youre looking for great care in Queens.
Very friendly doc. Very kind and soft spoken. Im very scared of dentists and he made me feel very comfortable. I had a root canal. Was very knowledgeable and gave me ample time to heal. Dentist for life.
I found this office on Groupon and the ratings were good enough that I thought I would give it a try. The doctor and staff at this office are beyond friendly and professional. I was extremely satisfied with my treatment and with my cleaning. The doctor offered advice honestly and without being too pushy. The OOP prices are very reasonable and the hours here are flexible. The only reason for four stars is the office itself could use some updating. If the office was updated a bit, they would easily get five stars. I will definitely be returning.
I am not happy with service provided at this dental office. Extremely pushy doctor. First, I did teeth cleaning and X-ray here and it seemed like a dentist I wanted to have so I changed my assigned dentist and made Astoria Dental Town my Dental office. I have chipped my tooth and it had small crack so I made an appointment to fix that. I got X-ray, for no reason, teeth cleaning which I never asked for and never agreed on doing it (since I did teeth cleaning two months ago) and also filling, which I thought it would be my chipped tooth, but no, apparently I had small crack on other tooth (totally healthy tooth that didnt need any work on it) and tooth I came to fix stayed the same. I referred few people to this dental office but after this experience, I am changing my dentist. I dont recommend this place.
Please note that half of these reviews are fake. Check YELP!!! Yelp doesnt allow fake reviews....Where do I start? I needed to get a root canal because I had dental infection. I found them on Groupon and was pleased with the low price. That being said you definitely get what you pay for!! I called to schedule and appointment and the receptionist told me there was not need to purchase the groupon because they charged those prices in office. So I go to my appt, I asked him to put medicine on my infection and I would come back in a week to finish the process. Mind you the x-rays are soooooooo outdated. I could barely see where the bump was in my mouth and it was huge. I went to another endontists office and I could see everything clearly. I honestly wasnt expecting too much but just know what youre getting yourself into. Also the office itself is outdated, which I didnt mind but if you do fyi. Again, you get what you pay for. He kept going back and forth saying he wanted to finish the whole procedure in one day. I had already done a ton of research and been to another endodontist that said since I had an infection they would need two visits. So we decided to break the appointments down. So I paid in full for the procedure that week even though he had just left medicine, which was a bad idea because he got greedy. So I go back the second time and he is pressuring me to get a post and crown mid procedure (literally drill in mouth). I understand that is is the endodontist job to tell you what he suggests and what the options are but this man was so pushy it didnt even come off genuine. We had already talked last time about me not wanting a crown since it was my front tooth. I let him know I would think about it but for now it was a no. He NEVER mentioned anything about a post in initial appointment. Now he was telling me that I was REQUIRED to get it because thats what the fine print on the groupon said. MIND YOU THEY SAID I DID NOT HAVE TO PURCHASE GROUPON BECAUSE THOSE WERE THE PRICES THEY CHARGED.I immediately started freaking out and going back and forth with both him and his receptionist who eventually sided with me. So all that for nothing. 1. Know that you are getting what you pay for, which is not always the best. 2. Be strong because this man will try to push you into anything. He comes off nice at first but very very pushy and his assistant will follow up behind him. 3. POST ARE SO OUTDATED. Most endodontist dont recommend because if something happens to the tooth it is basically unrepairable. 5. Google reviews can be made from anyone even the owner and reception. I had to check yelp because even if I had a one off bad experience there is no way this business has 4.7 stars. Now two months later my tooth still has feeling, which a root canal is not supposed to have and is sensitive so I have to go to another endodontist for a botched root canal.
Very nice staff. The Dr. is very polite and explains what he has to do and why with clarity. Was not hard to get an appointment quickly. If you need a root canal this is a good place to get it done!
Complete trust in the doctor, helpful front desk, I always felt i was in great hands. They say the person makes the doctor and i couldnt agree more... A professional, very intelligent and informative. Explained every procedure step by step as to assure me. Highly recommended! He works with you financially, which honestly saved me tremendously..a big THANK YOU!!!
Great dental office. Came here for teeth whitening on a deal they had and loved it. Included a take home kit. Staff was phenomenal in accommodating my hectic schedule. Dr.niyazov and an assistant performed the procedure. I pre booked additional sessions and am considering switching to them as my primary dental office.
This was the first dental clinic that I visited in NYC, and I have gone back ever since. Why? First, its a fantastic price - 55 bucks for a complete dental exam/cleaning. Second, the dentists are excellent at what they do and are personable and thorough. Their equipment is state of the art: x-ray machines, cleaning tools (water pick), and a clean enjoyable office space. Whats more, the dentists remember you as a person, and track your oral hygiene from visit to visit. Third, its in a great location and is very accessible by subway.Ive recommended multiple friends to this office and I will continue to do so. Thumbs up on all accounts ~ youre in for a good experience if you hit up Astoria Dental Town.Cheers.
My dentist (Eduard) is honest and open about the procedure, possible outcomes, and the price. Very friendly and professional staff (including the dentists). Would highly recommend. Also take advantage of the first consulting session -- its free

Came here for tooth sensitivity/pain and turns out I needed a root canal. The procedure was smooth and painless, but the doctor said I would have to wait at least 30 days for my insurance (DC 37 which is typically slow) to approve the next step: the crown.It has now been MONTHS and still no word from this dentist office, and I am left without a crown and a gaping hole in my tooth, and am in pain every day. Im not being dramatic when I say I feel abandoned by this providers office. I tried calling myself a few weeks ago to follow up and the receptionist said she would call me by the end of the day with an update. Guess what, no call. Thanks, will not be coming back to this place.
I visited Dr. Eduard Niyazov for a dental check-up and teeth cleaning service and was pleased at the speed and efficiency of the process! The staff is friendly and easy to talk to. I would definitely recommend Astoria Dental Town for quick dental visits in Astoria.
Great service from before you even get to the office. Friendly support team and fast reliable dentistry by the man himself. I enjoy it so kih I tried going a week early (bc I misread there txt alert a week before) highly recommended!

2022-06-11This dental office is great. I’ve been coming here for over 3 years and they always take care of me. The doctor is very attentive to the customers. They also send you reminders for your appointments which is a plus for me. I’m glad I found a place that takes my insurance also. My teeth are cleaner and better than ever. Highly recommend this dental office.

2022-04-09First, I am not sure how this office is managed, but they absolutely never return phone calls. I called many times, and left many messages, and nobody ever returned my call. It was only when someone happened to answer the phone that I was able to make an appointment.At my appointment, I had the worst, least thorough cleaning of my life here. The dentist was friendly, but did a terrible job.Further, the dentist waited a full year to ask my insurance to approve something, and by the time he did, my health insurance said he was no longer in network. Absolutely ridiculous.

2021-01-09If you’re looking for a doctor who is going to LOOK OUT FOR YOU and is VERY patient, this is the place for you! Dr. Eduard Niyazov is soft spoken and kind, and an EXCELLENT DENTIST.I will say if you’re looking for a quick fix on a difficult tooth this is not your place. He is going to get it right the first time and not rush, and it could take a few appointments! I had a root canal and it took lots of appointments but he was being considerate of my reactions, and time spent in the chair. If you fear the dentist I would highly recommend him as he will make you feel comfortable and will explain everything to you if you ask.Haven’t had a good dentist since I was a kid and I have moved to Harlem, but I will still be coming back.TLDR: come here for great results, don’t come if you’re rushing and want a quick fix and have no patience.

2018-10-30My second time in this clinic and my experience has been great so far! Very quick and easy check in and was attended to right away. Teeth are amazing thanks to Dr. Nizayov. He was very detailed with the information he gave me and explaining recommendations to make teeth better but absolutely left decision making to me which was great. Will be back for my next teeth cleaning session.

2020-03-11If youre looking for a great dentist in Astoria this is the place to be. Great experience with Dr.Eduard. I came in for the root consultation on a deal they advertised. I was skeptical at first because it was really the best deal I found on the internet. To my surprise everything was on point. Deal was honored and I had the procedure on two teeth. I have decided to switch to Dr.Eduard as my full time dentist, at least he doesnt shake you down like some others. A special thank you to Selena who went to great lengths to explain everything and made me comfortable when I came in. The doctor looked at my previous xrays, advised on the full cost and explained the steps of the procedure. Overall Im very happy and feeling great. Thanks so much. Will be back for the additional work.

2019-09-10I’ve been going to Astoria Dental Town for years now. I’ve tried other places in Manhattan and Brooklyn and haven’t been nearly as impressed with the services I’ve received in comparison to Astoria Dental Town. The place itself is no frills but Dr. Niyazov is exceptional at what he does and has always been so kind and always remembers me even if it’s been a long time since my last appointment. He really takes his time to do a good job, is very informative and always goes above and beyond in recommending better ways to care for your teeth. There’s never a wait for your appointment and if there is, it isn’t very long. I appreciate that they don’t waste my time like other offices who overbook and are always running behind schedule. I have insurance now but when I didn’t I was really happy to find this place due to their fair pricing. Cleanings are $75 and last time I checked, to drill/fill a cavity was $60 (that was years ago and may have changed so don’t quote me on that). If you’re looking for a good, solid, dependable and affordable place for your dentistry needs, I highly suggest Astoria Dental Town.

2018-03-27They were very nice when I walked in a few minutes past my appointment time. Previous dentist I had been to only wanted to milk my insurance but not this place. The dentist is a very sweet guy he will tell you the truth about what’s going on with your teeth and give honest recommendations. He gave me a cleaning after taking a couple X-rays and I was on my way out the door in less than an hour. 15/10 would recommend.
