Ive lived near Ditmars for almost 3 years. This is where I drop off my laundry and dry cleaning. I normally get some day service. The store hours are convenient and the people here are nice. The weekends can get a little busy so I avoid doing my laundry then if I could.
My favorite Astoria laundromat. The girls are so kind here. My wash and fold is always perfect, just like mama makes it back home and always smelling delicious. The repairs and alterations are just as good as the rest of the services.
I like this place a lot. Good prices and everything. Very trustworthy with my clothes. Reason why I give a 4/5 star is because of the owners annoying transmission squeaking noise coming from his Mercedes. Bothers me so much. But I highly recommend this place, as I said why!
Ive been going here ever since I moved to Astoria. Ive used them for laundry service, cleaning, and their laundromat facilities. Theyll bend over backwards to make sure youre happy with your service. Highly recommend.
These cleaners are around the block from me and when they passed out flyers with 15% off all dry cleaning, I couldnt resist. Ive used them twice already and am happy with the results and with the pricing. I recently started doing my laundry there and that also comes back nice.
I really not always come to command the laundry.... but this place has worst customer service. The employee these is so rude. Also,I don’t know how they do the dry clean. If you do dry clean here, please be careful to check when you pick up. Because I dry cleaned two times and found the clothes still had dirty points!!! And the employee didn’t try to apologize and even said maybe you wore and made it dirty... Seriously??????

Avoid drop off at all costs:I had been going to this place since I moved to the neighborhood. This week I dropped off laundry and they said they could have it Tuesday morning.I go to pick it up tuesday morning, and they said oh no, not ready until thursday night. I expressed frustration at my dwindling supply of the, uh, essentials. They said theyd have it Tuesday night. Not great but crisis averted.Tuesday night when I go to pick it up - its mostly ready but they said there was stuff hang-dry. I never asked for anything hang dry. Not the end of the world.But they insisted on tacking on $8 for the hang dry I never asked for. Insisting I must have said something. I didnt. Dropped it off and asked for plain old regular wash. Nobody there could adjust the ticket.The delay I can forgive. Charging me extra for their mistakes I cannot. Never again. Save yourself the strife.
Excellent Astoria laundry pick up service. Same day laundry service if you call early or enough. They have organic Seventh Generation and Dreft detergent for the babies if you need.
DO NOT USE THEM!The owner seems out of touch with running the business. He doesnt understand the language barrier that is between the person who handles the calls and the customer. Clearly English is a second language. the owner attempts to be the face of the business by stopping by and collecting / dropping off clothes but once you attempt to bring certain specific challenges to his attention he comes back with excuse after excuse. They are disorganised and have had troubles finding my clothes numerous times.-nobody take ownership of any situation-horrible service
Friendly laundry drop-off on 24 Ave, dry cleaning service as well. I like to use organic, minimal fragrance detergents. Use caution, it gets busy here on the weekends.
My clothes are always perfectly folded and smell exactly, not too strong and just enough, true professionals. Dry cleaning is good here too,
I would highly recommend Astoria Laundry! They are open practically around the clock and the staff is so helpful and friendly. It is especially convenient to have my clothes picked up, cleaned, and returned to me. Theyre great!!
Used the other laundry place on 24 ave once or twice, but this place is better. Good service, every time. Thats why its always so busy here.
NO HOT WATER!!! Do not do business here. They keep costs low by not providing hot water so there’s no point in separating your clothes. Every cycle is cold water.
Best dry cleaners in Astoria. I love how its open late on Sundays. Also how they pickup and deliver. I would recommend them to everyone. Thanks guys will be back

Nice and clean laundromat. Unfortunately, the lady that works in the morning has such an attitude so I stop going there in the morning .

I like to use the organic type detergent and low heat drying for my laundry drop-off. Free and clear, scent free, dye free, all natural, etc., etc.,...

2022-09-04Beware DROP OFF ...STOLE MY $100 NIKE TECH PANTS! 1st off let me say this review wouldnt have been written had the owners apologize and provided proper Customer Service. I would never want to jeopardize someones business.After realizing that I was missing the pants I called the establishment and was told I would receive a call from the manager Joyce .... I waited a few day, no call back but a text saying they would look into on it Aug 27th again way over a week! After calling the laundromat with no one picking up I decided to stop in and take pictures to write this review because at this point the owners didnt show they cared enough. The same day I came in 31st Aug is when I heard from the owners or managers because they were mad I told the worker I was writing a review. They called my phone yelling telling me to stay away and the owner has heart issues..... She shouldnt have thought about this when she called me yelling. I never wanted to leave a negative review but it only fair to let ppl in this neighborhood to go to another laundromat because you may have clothes go missing. Trust me I wont be back there are closer establishments I choose to use this one. Treat people right because you never know who is walking into your store!

2022-01-13Astoria laundromat is the CLEANEST LAUNDROMAT IN ASTORIA!! Ive been a resident of Astoria for many years. I must admit, they are the by far the cleanest in this town even during the pandemic every time I went, they were spick and span clean. Highly recommend!

2022-03-16They do great work, but the girl who answers the phone is really difficult to schedule. She’s left me on the phone waiting with the line open and then when I hang up and try to call back again it’s busy like she just left the phone disconnected.

2021-04-29This is a terrible place to do laundry. Machines are unreliable, they don’t easily take the quarters you have to use and then frequently don’t actually wash or dry the clothes. The staff is rude to a level that is shocking. After I finish my 3 loads today I will never go back. There’s a wonderful place a block away 24th Ave Laundromat that does incredible work. I kick myself for being too lazy to walk the extra block. AVOID THE FRUSTRATION AND DONT GO TO ASTORIA LAUNDRY & CLEANERS.

2017-06-13I also live on 24th avenue and use Astoria Laundry drop off regularly for wash and fold (laundry still priced under one dollar) and dry cleaning, they take both cash and plastic. I can honestly say that they have the best service in the neighborhood in terms of quality and price. This store does tend to get busy at times, you may want to make use of the pickup and delivery they offer.

2018-05-30Open early and late so good if you have a schedule that makes picking up dry cleaning at other places harder. Dry cleaning is often delayed one or two days so be careful if you need something for an event. Laundry was never ready even if you called ahead to confirm so started using another place nearby for laundry.

2014-06-13Ive been using Astoria Laundry and Cleaners for 3 years now and this is a true gem in the community. The perk of having your laundry picked up and delivered, to me, is a godsend, as I have a very busy schedule and dont always have time to do it myself.I dont know what kind of detergent they use, but man does laundry from this place smell beautiful. Often times businesses cut costs and use the cheapest materials they can find, but this place offers decent quality (and delivery!) at a really reasonable price.The only complaint I have about this place was that I lost a couple of pairs of socks over the years, which is not a big deal. They looked hard to find them and gave me a discount for the loss. Aside from that this place is stellar.

2017-05-27This company needs to fix their form of scheduling. I would go online and request a pickup and nobody would ever contact me or come to get my laundry. When I finally got someone to come pick up the laundry they would be over an hour late. When it came time for laundry drop off they would be well over two or three hours later than the drop off time that they promised. If they fix their scheduling issues, theyd be great, minus a stain that magically appeared on my favorite tank top after the last washing I did with them. Needless to say, I will no longer be using their services. Im sure that their self operated machines are great, and if you go drop off your laundry yourself theyre great. However, dont use their free pick up and drop off service if you value your own time, because they wont.
