2020-10-25Can’t believe this park is 10 years old already. One of the first of the new wave of concrete parks in NYC. This is sort of a plaza layout. Every time I have been here on weekends it’s packed with LKW’s. Still one of the best parks in NYC. Good ledges, 1/4 is fun... love a low curb too. Without a doubt one of the most scenic skatepark locations in NYC. Bring the family for a picnic on the waterfront grass. Parking lot is a bonus. Locals take good care of this park. DECE RIP

2021-03-06I love this skate park. I spend most of my time skating the super long quarter pipes, but I also really like the boxes near the west end of the park. There’s some thing for everybody here, and tons of space. Locals are kind of shy and tribal here, but I talk to people sometimes when I skate here. It’s a live and let live kind of park.

2021-07-25Local kids like to come here with their skate board and rollerblades to practice so they can improve on their skills. Sometimes you will even get kids who come by with a bike wanting to work on doing a few stunts. This is right next to an open field with grass that people, familys or couples may sit on a blanket and just sunbathing or even have a picnics. Its a nice area to just enjoy yourselves.

2021-07-31A gem of parks and fields under the RFK and Hell Gate bridges. Concrete skate park next to track, tennis, basketball and outdoor pool. Also a restricted road on the water to bike.

2019-07-28This park has a view of the East River that has no peers. Im not a skate boarder but the young men seemed to be enjoying themselves in the shade of the Robert Kennedy aka Triboro Bridge. Catch some Rays on the grass while watching the big boats and recreational vessels on the River. Pool is open til Labor Day and Astoria Park is just Great.

2018-12-11A relatively recent discovery for me and the skate crew but one thing is for sure, thats our new new warm up spot!!!! Located right on the water on a beautiful sunny day Astoria park is definitely on our radar. Smooth, fast or slow, fun and just a bone stop cruise. Once again the City of New York had impressed me for sure. So, thank you skateboarding and thank you New York City.

2020-03-06Such a lovely spot to come and unwind at! My son and some of his friends were skating while the adults just relaxed at the new park they finally reopened!

2019-01-04It is my local skatepark and for that I am grateful. But theres not a lot of variety here by contemporary skatepark standards, and there is zero flow. A good place to get your street on and practice on the way-too-mellow-but-plenty-wide quarterpipe.
