I recently visited the AT&T store in Washington Heights in Uptown Manhattan to inquire about purchasing an iPad Pro. The sales associate who assisted me was Francini B. and she was very professional, very polite and very patient. I arrived to this store location very close to closing, yet Francini never made me feel rushed nor did she treat me in a negative manner. Instead, Francini worked effortlessly to answer all of my questions and concerns and ultimately, I left a very satisfied customer! Since I received such excellent service, I will definitely be returning to work with her for any future purchases.Roslyn JWest Harlem, NYC
Not very helpful. I went in to get a new 5G SIM card for my 5G phone and was given the run around for 30 minutes, before being told my current plan did not support 5G even though my phone did. (Apparently, the only way to get it, is to upgrade to their most expensive plan.) That didnt work for me, not to mention the rep told me that 5G wasnt even ready yet. So there was no reason to get it. 😕 So why would you advertise and promote something that you dont really provide. And on top of that charge people an arm and a leg to get it. Suffice to say I ported my number to Google-Fi shortly after that.
Had to wait 45 min just to replace a faulty sim card about which I had called customer service prior and had a note in my account.4 workers were attending customers taking over an hour each, and none of them could you a couple minutes aside to take care of my simple request?I told them several times its a 3 min fix, all they could do it repeat over and over that they are attending other customers, which obviously I understood. But if each those customers take that long then they really need to multitask just a bit to attend others.4 other groups of people came after me and also were not even greeted and left hanging to wait. What if they too only had a simple question? Wasnt like this before.
Id give them 10 Stars but Google only allows 5. Bernard, greeting me at the door and determining my needs, was the epitome of graciousness. Christian, who directly addressed my issues after Bernard had determined them, was also most kind and helpful. Both Bernard and Christian exemplified the highest possible level of customer service. Service as awesome as theirs is way too rare and Im very thankful for their efficient, courteous help. Bernard and Christian; thank you! :)
Nearly impossible to get someone on the phone. Ordered a phone online, went to pick it up a day after, just to sit around for an hour then being told to come back a little later. Im calm through the whole process because i made a minor error on my part. Minor, shouldnt take this long or be this much of a headache to fix the issue. Still waiting on my phone as I write this. Im currently calling to get a status update, and you guessed it, cant get anyone to answer the phone. It seems like my only option is to go back to the store, sit around with my arms folded until they fix whatever issue they were working on. Yes, i wasnt told what exactly the issue was because its so complicated. Im tech savvy but i decided to just see how it plays out and not make an issue at the store. This review is well deserved though. 3 stars because although im not satisfied with the service im convinced the worker there was doing his best to help me.
I had to wait for over 30 minutes until finally someone was able to help me. I wanted them to check if their sim cards work with my computer. The guy who helped me was very unmotivated and did let my tablet fall on its screen. Then the sim card got stuck in my computer and when trying to get it out they broke the entrance for the sim card. They refused to give me anything as a reward and laughed at me while I left the store. Even the store manager was laughing with them and didnt take responsibility for it!! Very bad experience!
They are extremely slow here. Waited an hour for service and was still number four on the list. They need to hire more employees or train their employees to be faster and more efficient. This was my first time coming in here and will also be my last. Horrible horrible expierence
Terrible customer service. Went to pickup the iPhone X and was promised the model and color I wanted, 45 minutes later I get inside the store and the phone is now sold out due to a customer changing their mind. I was offered no real explanation and wasted my time. Very disorganized and disappointing experience.
I arrived at 9:30 am on Friday, was put on an Ipad waiting list, and told it would be 20-30 minutes. I went to starbucks, had a latte and came back, the woman was gone, on her break, or sleeping in the back, who would know? I sat myself down and waited another 20 minutes, and suddenly the first intake person appeared, wiping her face with a napkin, then she peered around the room, and went back into the office and shut the door behind her! Can you believe it? I couldnt!There were only two salesmen with customers in this gigantic store—no service reps—and the dreariest atmosphere you could imagine. Neither salesman bothered to look that behind me about 9 other people had gathered, with bewildered looks on their faces. What a dump! Try 95th and Broadway. The worst AT&T store Ive ever been in!
They are stealing my money, the manager is a ladeon, the one from the 181st, he tells me that my bill would be 110 a month, and every month I get up to 600 dollars son of a bitch, just for making a contract you damage the way To a client, you dont care that my credit is damaged. They are thieves at AT&T. THIEVES, THIEVES, THIEVES.

2022-01-16AT&T Wireless- 614 West 181stReceived exemplary service from a gentleman named “Luis A.” when choosing new phone after dropping previous phone and breaking beyond repair. Luis was helpful, informative and an all-around star at his job! Took exorbitant amount of his time trying to retrieve all backup data of old phone, which was no small task given its sorry state. Took about an hour-and-a-half but was extremely patient and understanding and tried every possible avenue to successfully backup old phone and upload to my new one. Very intelligent young man with encyclopedic knowledge of World Cinema to boot! Thanks for your help, Luis!

2021-09-09Not enough workers at allWith the amount of money At&T makes you’d think you can make changes to your account in a timely manner. 1:07 minutes later I’m still waiting to be attended. I ask her is there anything that can be done because I don’t have much time then she goes ahead and tell me I could’ve saved time and do it online. She asked “why are you here?” “ who told you to come here?” Do it over the phone if you don’t want to wait. And then looked at her co worker and repeated again “ why is she here?”I leave and call 611 as she instructed611 says it must be in store.Don’t waste your time at this location the one on 145th st and Broadway has great customer service.8 customers and only two workers!Smh

2021-11-30Visiting a phone store is rarely a pleasant experience, but that is exactly what I had here. Rather than looking down at their own phones, the employees were ready to help shoppers with theirs! Special shout out to Luis, who was professional and personable.

2021-12-14Not very happy with AT&T... They rerouted all my calls to their sales reps to make me buy a new 5G phone as they said my Samsung S8 was no longer supported by the network. I tried speaking with a rep but they couldnt hear me so I was stuck with no outgoing calls. I had a friend in the hospital with an emergency and couldnt contact them. The people in the AT&T store let me use their landline to contact their rep. I dont appreciate my paid for service being cut off! Looking forward to dropping them in 2022.

2021-12-02The NEXT-UP program is useless. You have to pay 50% of your phone within a two year period before you are due for an upgrade and the phone can’t have a single scratch in other words it has to be intact as if new. But this is the problem: there’s a high probability that your phone is gonna get scratched within two years so that’s why I say the 5$ extra every month is money wasted.

2020-05-13Amazing customer service. Ask for Luis and this guy will make sure youre well taken care. Exceeds expectations. I went thinking I only needed a SIM card. This gentleman made sure my phone insurance remained active, the plan I needed was the right one for me, and informed me all I needed to know about my plan. Thank you Luis. You rock!

2020-11-05This store has great customer service. They make you feel like they are there to assist you from the beginning of purchasing a phone to picking out a suitable plan. Luis is great . He helped me with purchasing and replacing iPhones. He is great!

2020-06-23I was very disappointed with the lack of customer service and the representative did not assist me very well to a decent standard. The rep suggested a screen protector ($45) that broke the same day. When I went back to the store to return the item, the representative questioned the exchange with the manager (when I had a recipient and it was the same day).Then he seemed he did not want to be bothered with helping me with the exchange. He didn’t help me retrieve the items that I wanted to exchange. He did answer my questions but was very short and again, seemed Like he was annoyed with having to exchange the item. Mind you, there was no other customers in the store to assist. Though I left with my exchange and refund, the customer Representative and customer service was very poor and unwelcoming. The store just opened up due to COVID-19 and Employee seemed like he did not want to work. Not a good look.

2021-06-23The associate assisting me was rude and condescending. I was trying to figure something out regarding the pin for the account and was confused by the situation, and when we figured it out he said See I told you so but you wanted to argue with me. Then, instead of walking me to the area to get my case, he said The cases are up there. Go find the one you need and told me the sku number as though I am supposed to be providing the service myself. Mine you this is for a Prepaid order so the items should have been presented to me together as they were already selected. They had an issue and couldnt pulled up my order, but I showed him the confirmation on my account and that should have simplified the process.
