Before coming to this store, I went to the one at 331 Mamaroneck Avenue in Mamk, where the service was unhelpful, unreliable, and unprofessional. I then drove to this store in Yonkers, and what a difference! The person who assisted me, Maxine, was extremely helpful in activating my phone and transferring the data from my old phone. I highly recommend this location.
I had a wonderful experience at this location. My initial goal was to upgrade my iPhone 7 plus and upgrade my plan to unlimited. Upon arrival I was immediately greeted and felt completely comfortable with the social distancing protocols they have in place. The rep who assisted me was Maxine and she was such a delight...fantastic personality! Not only was she knowledgeable and jovial, she really listened and helped me pick out the right phone plan that met all my needs. The process was quick simple and The store manager Stevie came by to make sure that my experience was going well. I would definitely recommend anyone to this location in search of quality service or support in any of their phone purchases or inquiries.
The product sold itself im super dissatisfied with Dan he was not knowledgeable seemed like he didnt want to help. I knew what I wanted but I had some questions about the product I was buying to compare it to the one I was selecting. Very short answers he loomed on Google didnt offer me any screen protectors. They didnt have any watches on display for me to see unless I bought it. He didnt offer to hook the watch up or even ask me if I needed help! Again the products sell itself there was no interest in him helping me at all. I left there for the price of rhe watch very upset!! Customer service was not at all in this place. They also need training this man was actually the shift manager. Very turned off didnt even want the watch
Liars, Scammers, unethical business practices. That should be the name of this place. They changed our plan and told us it was saving us money and it included a free line. I got my bill and I’m paying for this line!!!! How is that free? On top of that I had to spend hours on the phone and in store to fix what they did and try and get everything undone. I don’t understand, why would you tell a customer something is free when it clearly isn’t? I could have been saving over $30 a month and I had to pay an activation fee on this free line... if they just changed the plan and didn’t give me this line. That’s insane! Why did you guys lie? It seems like I’m not the only one, when I was waiting in store to get this fixed another customer came in saying the same thing so this must be pretty common
Go to Bay Plaza where the staff won’t ignore you, put you on a list while the store is empty, make you wait hours while they talk to friends, eat and do nothing else but have you sit on couches watching movies.They are rude and incompetent at Cross County, do not believe these vague, bland good reviews, this location is notorious! I went to Bay Plaza expecting the same treatment but they were fast, courteous and extremely helpful, you have been warned!
Awesome staff, Noel and the gang were great at making us feel like at home as we waited for our phone data to be transferred to our new phone. Noel showed his skills by being knowledgeable of the phone and service att offers. My wife got a perfect phone for her personal and professional use (Microsoft surface duo) thanks to Noels knowledge features.
This place only cares about doing sales for their own benefits (commissions) the reason i said this is because i went to buy an iphone which i paid off completly and i asked them about my business line plans. I noticed that i had an insurance for my tablet and my iphone. I requested them to remove only the tablet’s insurance since i bought the tablet at another At&t store but instead they removed both insurances on my plan. After leaving the place, i believed they did their job right however, the same day i discovered they removed both insurances on my account, leaving me with no phone insurance, this is when i had to go back to the store trying to fix the mistake the last representative did, but instead i found another representative who i explained the situation about only giving me one insurance for my plan not 2 insurances, i requested him to only add one insurance but instead he added the same two insurance back twice on both devices’s lines of business. Making this 4 insurances total on my plan. This is when a bell rang on my head and i thought wait a minute, he tricked me. Long story short they adviced me to call the AT&T main phone customer service line to request one of the insurance to be removed, Unfortunately for them i discovered they added me the 2 insurance twice and i was able to removed the tablet’s insurance by doing it myself through At&T portal. I used to work for altice company and i know how sales tactics work. I understand they want to make sales and commissions but at this store they are forgetting about the most important thing which is “going above and beyond for customer services” the last rep didnt helped me completly because that was a downgrade and they make not profit off it. I bet they accumulate some type of sales points each months everytime they add or oversals some products i know this because when i was in altice it used to be like that plus sales people are not suppoused to do downgrades. If this was the case the reps should of have told me to call o to do this removable actions through AT&T websites. I give this one star because of the time they made me wasted since i was working on my job that day and took the time to resolved this!🙌🏾
Horrible customer service. Called about experience online and due to the warehouses being closed and wait time on the fone was over 3 hrs tried to return an open phone to the store. Asked for the manager said he wasn’t in but can tell him to call me. Then he told me by law he couldn’t exchange the phone for me because I bought it online! Next day I called an somebody kept picking up the phone an hanging up! From 11-1pm. At least answer the phone if your store is supposed to be open. Def making a complaint to corporate about it. Anyways ended driving 10 minutes further to another location and I got fantastic service a discount and an exchanged phone!! BOOYAA and added AT&T tv to my account as well.✌🏽
The AT&T salesman (Ogyiri) was amazing and very patient with me. He was also quite efficient and knowledgable about all of the products and pricing Ive inquired about; even products from other companies. Id definitely recommend this location to my friends and family. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!
Went to upgrade my phone with my mother, and was surprised to deal with an associate so disinterested in her work. She was not friendly and not actively trying to explain the new plans (which we were not thrilled about) to us in a professional matter. Her unprofessional answers were enough for us to go across the mall to other services like Verizon and T-mobile. After 18 years with AT&T, we were never treated so poorly in one of their stores. Eventually, we went to another AT&T store and found better customer service
I am never one to go out of my way to leave a negative review for any business. I HAVE to go out of my way to leave one for this store. It all started back in November of 2016, when I went into the store to upgrade my phone. I switched from an iPhone 6plus to an iPhone 7. During my two week grace period, I realized that I was used to the bigger screen and preferred it actually. So, I ended up going back to the store to switch it to the 7plus. The phone wasnt in stock so it was ordered. I received the call that the phone was in, switched the phones and walked out the store. Heres what went wrong. The associate (and I will be polite to not mention names) told me to leave the iPhone 7 in the store and he would ship it out to AT&T direct. I didnt think twice and thought it was a nice gesture. Within two weeks or so, I received a text from AT&T direct that they hadnt received the phone and would charge if not received within a time frame. I immediately contacted the sales associate I had dealt with, to which he said he would take care of. Cut to two weeks from that, in the month of December, AT&T texts me again and this time they are charging my account for the device they didnt receive. I speak with AT&T directly, inform them of the situation, they contact this cross county store...and to no avail. Only to be informed that everything will be resolved soon. Ive gone back to the store in person, spoken to the assistant managers and nothing was resolved. I would like to also mention that when I walked into the store, the employees (along with the assistant manager) were sitting down playing a video game which I think is highly unprofessional (unless it is now and Im just use to uncomprisimisable customer service). I thought I was finally getting somewhere when I got a hold of the actual manager in the store. She assured me my account would be credited, she just needed to speak to her boss. My account has been suspended twice. Each time I call and have to explain my situation to each representative its time consuming and beyond frustrating. Its now March and I have given this store more than enough time to rectify this situation. How they have dealt with my situation is inexcusable and now I will have to go out my way to make people aware of their dealings. Along with this google review, Ill leave my reviews anywhere else I can place it and writing to head quarters in Indiana. This store doesnt deserve ONE star.
I visited this location to transfer my joint account to a personal account in hopes of lessening my bill. Denise was the person I was set up with. I made it very clear what I wanted and needed and she assured me that I was getting exactly what I requested. She said my first bill would be $140 and afterwards it would be less - Cool! I received my bill and she gave me the wrong service and my bill was $240 and some change! Now I’m running around trying to figure out how AT&T could fix this.I visited 86th Street AT&T and they told me she completely screwed my account up. This isn’t the first time this has happened to me at an AT&T store. Every time I ask them if they can send me a summary of my visit to my email they say they don’t do that. So what happens when a mistake like this occurs? I’m responsible for paying?! Not this time! Shame on you Denise! I will get to the bottom of this!
Do not buy a MAVEN 835 phone from AT &T This phone. total piece of garbage that wont even last a month. it should not even be sold to the public. after 3 weeks the phone continuously shuts itself off and crashes. sometimes will not reboot. The att store refuses to replace the phone. they claim phone is an inexpensive burner and as a customer i should not have expected anything more than a months usage from it. then they offer to sell me a more expensive phone. tried hard reset, cache wipe battery check nothing works. the phone also comes loaded with unnecessary bloat that eats up all of the memory. even with many of the apps uninstalled or disabled phone still continuously crashes. disgraceful. Stay away!
I wouldnt even give a half star, but I will give two for the store neatness and decor. The store was almost empty, but I still have to wait. The person who attended me did what she wanted to do not what I asked her to do with my phone line. I dont like giving bad reviews, but it was bad. She wasted my time , and I left unhappy :(
Be very careful when swapping over they will TRICK you into a swapping over. They tell you, “You will 1st get a $300 as in store credit and later another $300 dollars on a credit card to pay off your last phone bill”. Once you receive the credit card with less than $20 they tell you it was a misunderstanding their employs had. I just think it completely unethical how 3 people representing and selling a product for AT&T could give out such wrong information.
Our sales rep Anthony was very patient as we tried to figure out how to switch me over to their company. We went in at around 2 on a Tuesday & were immediately attended to. The store doesn’t seem very busy during the week & in the afternoon. We plan go back to this location for any future transactions.
Went here twice and nothin got done. I looked at phones for 30 mins and nobody even notice me unless i was on ghost mode .. Not friendly and wait is like 30 plus mins. And they also changed my plan with our my knowledge. ENDED UP CANCELLING MY PLAN. AND GOT T MOBILEI recommend 835 central park ave , Find Jenny the manger or Steven both are really helpful.
If you want to watch the entire Scott Pilgrim vs. The World movie, this is the place. Just put your name on the list, and have a seat on the couch. Dont worry; you wont miss anything in the movie. Its not like anyone who works there is in a hurry to help you or anything. In fact, its almost impossible to tell who actually does work there. If anyone. When the movie is over, just leave. Nobody will have moved or will have been helped since you walked in.
Piss.poor customer service. I literally went in to ask a question and waited for 30 minutes. Still no help. There were 3 employees working and only two experts. I would up just calling ATT customer service from there and asked my question while I waited. Complete waste of time.

They completely ignore there customer and after 1 hour and half they were not able to convert me to eSim! I will file a legal complaint by AT&T and if They didn’t make it right I will switch to other better carrier! Awful!

2022-03-20Go somewhere else. Was greeted upon entry, told someone would be with us soon. Waited ten minutes, while the employees talked to their friends, ignoring me & my partner. We sat down to wait. Another customer walked in and was helped immediately as if we were forgotten about. This literally just happened. Sitting in my car in shock about this poor customer service. Woof.

He also help me chose the proper phone protective screen for my new phone and installed it also. He whent above and beyon to ensure we were well taken care of. This representative needs to be promoted to a Store Manager.

2022-04-18The reason why my recent experience was neutral is because I asked if there was cases for my iPhone 12 Pro and the person that attended me said yes and showed me only a few cases about 6 only and there wasnt varieties of them only clear or black so I didnt find what I wanted. I was looking for something different But I was attended within the moment I walked in the store so the customer service was pretty fast and although there wasnt enough cases or variety of cases I needed to buy one asap so I chose the clear case and the reason for my visit was definitely resolved, thank you! :)

2022-08-04Very bad customer service. I don’t who the manager is but they aren’t doing a good job of managing their team either because it is the worst customer service I’d had at an ATT store. I think authorized retailers are doing much better than these corporate stores as far as customer service from what I’ve seen so far! No common sense or even simple manners here. Lol yikes.

2022-07-19Tried to sign up/begin port process online but was told had to phone. Phoned prepaid service and after 25 mins was told had to go in store so took cab to store then had to pay 30$ activation fee for lines since it was an in store visit. Store Reps were great but policy was a little frustrating

2022-06-28Worst support I have EVER received setting up my phone. They did more harm than good. The employees were googling how to set up my iPhone. Do yourself a favor and do not go here. On my way to Apple store.

2022-03-20Don’t go here. Was told someone would be with us soon. Waited for 10 minutes. One of the two sales people was just taking with his friends about djs. As soon as a new customer walked in, the second finally stopped talking to what seemed to be the manager, went to him and greeted him immediately and started asking him what he needed while my partner and I were still waiting. The girl who seemed the be the manager stood around never once picked her head up when we walked out. Ouch.

Jon fix a issue that att tech support couldnt fix customers service over the phone couldnt fix. Jon was and is a true leader I cant wait to do business with him again.

2022-02-28We had an appointment and didn’t have to wait for a consultant. Our consultant was Franciel Santo. He greeted us by name. Mr. Santo is very knowledgeable which made the transaction go smoothly and efficiently.
