Old school Italian cooking. Awesome owner and staff. I mean come on look at the selection. This place has it all! The prices are reasonable. Very rarely do I find a pizzeria where I want to sit down and eat a meal other than pizza. My wife and kids love it too. You will be near the Nautical Mile at some point soon, this place is worth a stop.

Top quality pizza and Italian food. Old world food with a Blues theme. The pizza is hearty and chock full of toppings! They dont just sell pizza and pasta. They have a display case with rice balls, stuffed artichokes, and other authentic items you cant readily get nearby. You wont be disappointed.
Great quick spot for NY pizza. Fast food, or pickup recommended. Ive taken 20+ people here and everyone was happy. In fact its become the CAn we go to that spot again? kind of place. This is a small local pizza spot, I would not recommend for long sit downs as they do not have a bathroom thats easily accessible. Thats the only drawback. As a local Ive ate here dozens and dozens of times. Even when theres a wait you get acknowledgement. The price is fair and the service is fast. 5 stars for a great local spot.
Been coming to this pizzeria since I was a little kid. This guys who run this class are gentleman and really know how to make a pizza you won’t forget. AND their mom still works in the kitchen making the proprietary sauce and dough. They also have a lot of imported cheese and other things from Italy. Always good music playing in the background as you eat your authentic pizza. Only complaint is the Spanish guy who works the front has an attitude sometimes, not good for business
Amazing pizza! They always make my pepperoni with a lot of pepperoni just how i like it! And the crust is super crunchy! The owner is such a sweet guy. He comes around and makes sure that your food is perfect and always offers us a dessert on him! Will continue to be my favorite pizza place

Best pizza on the Island if you ask me. Same family owned restaurant have served my family and I for years. Fresh high quality ingredients. I would buy a barrel of the salad dressing if they sold it
Ive been here 2 times now and I must say that I like their options. The food is OK/good but the options are what gets me really. Their are 4 different varieties of garlic knots as well as many other Italian favorites. They also sell Italian staples such as cheeses, olives etc. The service is definitely lacking which can often make the experience. For a sit down dinner be sure to let them know you are sitting down and expect to pay at the register.

I came to Atlantic Pizzeria to celebrate a buddy of mines birthday because it was his favorite pizzeria. Being a musician, there is nothing i enjoy and appreciate more than having music play in a restaurant. I am not talking about music blasting louder than it does in a club, but music playing softly in the background so that you dont have to listen to another tables conversation. Atlantic Pizzeria plays classy Blues and Jazz music which goes perfect with their decor.They have photographs and a mural painted on the wall that is museum quality. Absolutely incredible. As soon as I walked in, I told my friend that this has to be the coolest pizzeria I have ever seen. He told me to wait until I tried the pizza... The staff accommodated all 11 of us, putting some tables together. We went to order a bunch of small bottles of coke and they recommended saving a few dollars and just getting 2 liters as we needed them which i thought was very nice of them to do, most places would rather make the extra money instead of helping the customer do the more logical thing. When our pies came out, I felt like a kid in a candy store. We ordered a Cheese Pie, a Layered Eggplant Pie, and a Grandma Pie. I am still trying to decide on my favorite...thats how good they all were. The cheese pie was the best I have ever tasted. It wasnt greasy and they do something to their crust to give it the perfect amount of crispiness. The Eggplant pie was better than I expected. Three layered of delicious eggplant with marinara sauce in between each layer then dolloped with ricotta cheese on top. It was phenomenal.The grandma pie we got more for the ladies with us, but we ended up having to order an extra Grandma pie because everyone enjoyed it so much. I was very impressed with this Bluesy Pizzeria.I have never been anywhere quite like it. I will definitely be back.
Best Tasting Pizza I have found on Long Island.. I eat dinner here more than I eat dinner in my own house. I love it, they treat you like family once you walk in the door. & once you sit down, their famous Blues music keeps you occupied so you never want to leave. It is just a very cozy place, with Five Star homemade Italian cooking.
Let me tell you ! 🗣🗣🗣🗣🗣THIS PLACE HAS THE BEST PIZZA ON THE STRIP. I thought Ginos on Atlantic had the best grandmas slices .. Nope Wrong! Atlantic Pizzeria and Restaurant has the best grandma slices , the best garlic knots, rice balls to die for! Annnnddd you have to go check the place out , they have the coolest decor and the music is captivating . Go check them out , you won’t regret it
Unsafe owner frontperson does NOT wear a face mask ! I was horrified someone running a food establishment is so neglectful . Very disapointed . I ordered a pie and went to pick up ...signs on door make you think its a safe environment inside as covid19 still active on long island. I walked i with my mask on BUT the owner or whomever was working at the front counter WAS not wearing a face mask!!!!

I have always loved Atlantic Pizzerias pizza and garlic knots but now I have a new obsession. They make these Stuffed Knots that are filled with delicious things...like cheese, pepperoni, buffalo sauce, pesto sauce, and roasted peppers. I cant even explain how yummy they are. The Roasted Pepper ones are my favorite. They have the right amount of mozzarella cheese mixed with roasted peppers, it is just delicious. The stuffed knots are served with a cup of their homemade marinara sauce which is out of this world. I always ask for extra sauce and find myself scraping the cup clean because it is just so good. I highly recommend getting some of their Stuffed Knots. I have gotten all of my friends to try and they love them too.
My husband and I were looking for somewhere different to go out to eat. We went to drop off some dry cleaning then grabbed a menu from the Pizzeria next door. As I read down their appetizers and entrees, my mouth started to water. We decided to get dinner at Atlantic Pizzeria. We ordered mussels marinara and crisp calamari as apps and Veal Calabrese and Chicken Ala Nicole for entrees. We went to order a salad to share but the waitress informed us that our meals will each come with a small salad. When the appetizers came out, we quickly dove right in. The calamari was on point. Crisped to perfection and the marinara sauce had the perfect amount of heat for me. My wife asked if they had some sauce that wasnt as spicy and the waitress quickly brought out some plain marinara for her which she absolutely loved. The mussels were outrageous. I was getting ready to order another plate of them when our entrees were brought out. The plates were huge! Well worth the price of the meals. The veal was tender and the chicken was delicious. My wife and I were very impressed and very happy with our meal. We now return to Atlantic Pizzeria as often as possible. The food is great, the prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent.
My family and I have been coming to this pizza place for years. Its always been a bit overpriced, but the food was decent and its right nearby us, so it was worth it...UNTIL today.It turns out there is NO customer service. Owner is very rude. I was quoted a price on the phone for pineapple topping and then charged a different price. Owner basically accused me of lying that I was quoted that price and was very rude.Overpriced in general anyway but was sort of worth it until now. Now I do not recommend. Also doesnt abide by discounts! Sign in door says $12.59 (or similar) for large pie on Sundays. Wanted to charge me $23 because I added pineapple to it. In the end he charged me $18 which I accepted because I needed to just get away from that rude man. $18 for a Sunday special pizza with added pineapple? And he wanted to charge me more? Screw that! Dont go here! NO CUSTOMER LOYALTY, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE and a RUDE owner. Will NEVER come here again.
Quality food all around. owner could turn down the volume a tad on the house music, which is blues music. now I love blues music. but I wouldnt bet that everyone who walks through the door does, so for that reason, if I were the owner, I would lower the volume, cause whether you like the music or not, moat people dont like loud music while eating.
My family ordered food from here for a family friend after a loss in the family. Told them it needed to be done by 5pm they were ok with that time (it was agreed upon). We go to pick it up and theyre still cooking it, little angry but we asked them why it wasnt done even after we were promised it would be done by 5 the guy responds well you cant rush perfection! Not really what we wanted to hear!!I hope the family enjoyed the food but we will not be ordering from here again

The best sauce ive ever has thats not from my own family. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is perfect. Easily the best pizza in freeport and arguably on the island. Fantastic place to eat, if youre in the area, stop in.. Even for just a slice. You wont regret it!
Been going to this restaurant for the first time and the food was fine but the is very rude and personel cursing at me in front of my kids and disrespecting me as a customer. My son and I was talking on the phone with my other son then the owner send the waitress to turn off the speaker because it was bothering the other customer, but there were no other customers around just my son and I in the restaurant. Then he tried to overcharged me for the food that cost $10.95 ea., no drinks and he charged $40.15 and I showed him the menu that the plate cost 10.95 ea. and he said unpleasant words to me so i agree to the bill, and I left because i was feeling uncomfortable with him.

Ordered food to go yesterday in hopes to have a nice quick dinner with family. After placing the order we get a call from the delivery driver asking our exact address, cross streets, etc. Keep in mind were in the same town. We give the information and wait patiently for our food, approximately 45mins later we get a phone call from the driver once again. This time she tells us to come out to her vehicle to get the food from her which we end up doing. Once were out there she tells us dont bother ordering again unless its a big order, im not driving 15 mins for this mind you I live 5 mins away, maybe 10 tops if you want to take the longest route possible. Id like to say we enjoyed the food at this point but it was cold and we were so put off already unfortunately. Wont be back again after this service.
I have been to this place three times. The food is good but they are very rude, they always give me a bad attitude. The last time I went there was after memorial day weekend. The guy behind the counter said to me they were so busy that they dont want new customers. Such a shame.
Food was ok.. Catered for a funeral. I asked for 5 pm showed up and not done.. was told you can rush perfection.. well perfection would be my food done when I ordered it for.. also asked if there was bread in the bag.. nope we dont supply it I was told but here Ill give you this.. like dont do me any favors
Very clean and convenient place. They provide big meals and for inexpensive rates. We loved the food very much and the waiters were very amiable and informative. I recommend this place.
Best pizzeria on long Island
Walked in at 12:05 order was not taken till 12:18 waited another 5 minutes and still my order was not being prepared mind you I only have a 30 min lunch break. No sense of urgency with terrible attitude and customer service skills. Should be considerate of customers that have a limited lunch break. Definitely not a quick bite

Moved to freeport a year ago. would go to different pizzerias to try different pastas knowing i would be ordering for the holidays. atlantic was my pick. you order something and say you will pick it up at 2, go in become 2 its not ready, which means to me its not sitting there. the young women who works there is a joy, i tell her when im picking it up and when im serving it, she talks to the chef and tells me the best way to heat it so it doesnt get dried out. prices to me are fine.
Just moved into the neighborhood and instantly fell in LOVE! Delicious gourmet slices and italian specialities. Always conflicted when we eat there because I want to try something new, but love everything weve already tried!
This place is TERRIBLE! The male cashier gave me COUNTERFEIT MONEY and RIPPED dollars last time I went, this guy should be fired and be reported immediately. My son went in a week ago and the guy gave him completely ripped bills that arent valid. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Owner is a DOUCHEB*G! My mom called to order a pie for take out for a family party. She asked if they have any coupons. He yelled at her, WRONG PLACE!.....Thats another store!. My mom said, Sir, all you had to say was No., then the owner told her to go somewhere else, canceled her order, and hung up the phone.Im sure the owner wouldnt like someone yelling at his mother. So, Im never coming back to this place.

Only reason i ever went into this place is because they are open later than the place i usually go to. Both times i found the staff to be very nasty and the food is terrible!! If you want good service, good food and a pleasant attitude.....This is not the place.

The dark haired man is extremely rude. When my elderly mom called to get the soup of the day and asked him to repeat the list he told her listen better and pay attention. I immediately went there and was not even acknowledged from him sweeping the floor and no apology or sympathy was given. I live across the street and will now travel anywhere to not use them

2020-01-05Oh my goodness. Its like coming home. My husband and I havent been here in a few years. We picked up a Pie and a Shrimp Parmesan Hero - The food is just as good as we remember! The ambience is great and so was the service. We will be back 😋😍

2021-11-08Place is great! So is the food! The workers/owners treat you with such respect its a pleasure ordering food from here. I ordered sausage and peppers on a hero and I tell you,it was absolutely tasty, delicious and out of this world. It was served on a semolina hero,just perfect! Pizza is very good also. Its an Authentic Italian restaurant 😋, the showcase is filled with prosciutto, olives and all kind of cheeses. If you havent been here,make sure you go! You wont be disappointed.

2016-11-28To all Italian Food lovers, my name is Kith and I love Italian food especially Pizza and Pizzerias I truly believe that small mamas and papas Italian food places are heart of True Italian Cooking. I have been to hundreds of places and I have seen good and bad places but I need to share this place with you .. Atlantic Pizzeria located on Atlantic avenue in Freeport is like taking a step back in time like how Pizzerias in Brooklyn, Manhattan and the Bronx use to look like. I never seen a counter display like this pizzeria.From 6 different stuffed garlic nut to about 7 to 8 different Rice balls to stuff Mushrooms, Peppers, Zucchini and Eggplant . The amount of specialty pizza and rolls they had was overwhelming, I had a 3 layer Eggplant slice and sausage roll the first thing I noticed was how crispy the crust was then how good the sauce tasted. I know I have found my new pizza place. I cant wait to come back and try something else.If you are in the neighborhood you should check this Pizzeria out, I forgot to mention how cool the place looks like and the great music they play. You should definitely check this place out.

2021-07-28Service is great and the Lasagna is DELICIOUS! Oh and they have the BEST Garlic rolls aka Garlic knots! They are so good you dont need any sauce with it. Their house salad with grill chicken is healthy BUT very delicious with the house dressing! A gem right by the Mile!. Stop in for a great meal and walk it off on the mile!

2021-06-24After a long day of work I was looking for a quick healthy salad. I went to a local pizzeria and had to throw the food out it was inedible (NOT Atlantic). I went into Atlantic Pizzeria at closing and the owner made me the BEST grilled chicken salad I’ve had from a pizzeria. It was so fresh and had just the right amount of everything. The chicken in it was delicious and the dressing was amazing. Aside from the food being great, the staff and owner were SO friendly and accommodating, even as they were getting ready to close. Not only will I absolutely be back when I’m in the area, but I will tell everyone to go there!! I can’t wait to work in Freeport again so I can go back! DEFINITELY THE BEST AROUND!
