I had local people say its not a nice place, but dont listen to them its very clean and updated owners were great . provided coffee , yogurt, muffins, granola bars in the morning in the lobby.We would stay again
Reasonable prices compared to other motels in the area. Only provides heat during the season. Air conditioner when it is the right season. Has hot water and cable TV. Microwave works and is clean. Fridge does not work too well.
For the price point, its definitely a full 5 stars. The room was spacious and spotless. The employees very friendly and helpful. Caveat: ask for a room without an adjoining room. The fire doors do little to block sound from the next room. Three of our four nights were very quiet, but on the last night we had neighbors. No blame to our neighbors or the staff here, but we could hear the TV through the fire door even at low volume.
Stayed 2nights. Grew up in area, graduated Attica. Last trip home to settle Dads estate.Nice staff. Let me pick room. No stale smoke odor. Clean and quiet..

Not the greatest, not the worst. It is clean. No bugs and we flipped the matresses. Air conditioner filter very clean. First time ive ever seen a hotel clean them. Firm bed. Not bad. Not opposed to coming back someday
The morning we were leaving this motel, the owner approached my best girlfriend and verbally attacked her. He believed we were taking part in activities in our room that we were not. He threatened to charge our card $100 more than what we had already paid. Traveling as a woman is scary. And it shouldn’t be. This man took advantage of her gender and the entire situation was horrifying. It’s 2018. If you’re looking for a stress free stay, do not choose this hotel. Unless you are ready to pay twice the amount advertised due to suspicions. One star is higher than I would prefer to rate.
Worst customer service ever! I booked a room 4 months in advance, 2 months later things happened and I needed to cancel. (This is with 2 months notice, plenty of time to rent the room back out.) They wanted to charge me $90 to cancel when I only paid $110 to begin with, giving me a $20 refund. After a week of trying to get into touch and being ignored they finally offered to cancel it for $50 , offering a refund of $60 ! I am paying for half of a room that I wont even being using that they will be able to make reservations for because I gave a TWO MONTH NOTICE! Charges aside, every time I called I got I am not in the office right now let me call you back in and hour with no call back ever, I would email and they would go unanswered. FINALLY after a week of it I get a call back and the man was the RUDEST person I have ever spoken to in my life!
Super sketchy. You feel like you could easily catch something from this place. If you are staying here for one night, then its fine if you are looking for cheapest price. There is a burger king and subway in walking distance. Rooms are old and smell.
The owner is an uncivil, badmannered, profane, impolite imbecile and all around money hungry! We didn’t smoke in the room but this man insists we did and became very violent with my girlfriend WE DONT SMOKE!!!!! He hadn’t even checked the room yet before the accusation either!! He chased her outside to the vehicle demanding 80 more dollars after we payed 300 for the musty unclean room and kept the key deposit 40 dollars!! If you’re a women do not stay at this hotel this man thinks he can walk all over you. I genuinely feel sorry for his wife and beautiful daughter there is no doubt in my mind he beats them both my heart goes out to them. Not to mention the girls in the apartment next to us had bed bugs!!! And he refused to give them their money back! If you don’t believe this is true think again and I wish you the best of luck if you attempt to stay there DONT!!! BOYCOTT THE ATTICAN MOTEL! It’s ashame to have to give this man (really a boy nothing of a man) 1 star to even post this
When I arrived it was late I had no way of getting to my destination the following morning but the owner helped me out to get there and waited to make sure I was good and picked me up prices for room and ride are well worth it they didn t over charge in anyway at all .. him and his wife are by far the nicest people I ever dealt with at a motel I recommend staying here I know I will be back and this is the place Ill stay and the room was very clean everything i needed was there and in good condition

Clean, warm, safe, and convenient. It didnt have much in the way of amenities, but it had what we needed: a place to rest on our journey to Buffalo.
It was fine for staying 1 night after a concert but the beds are very hard and the room had a musty smell when we opened the door and since you couldnt open a window it was hard to get rid of it.
Worst experience ever . No hot water .. hard bed and no coffee in room. At the end of trip , friend handed in keys and was charged another bill on top of already paying . Owner states This is the correct fee . No way !! Don’tstay here .. sad that this is the way business is handled for travelers ..sketchy man at front desk .. weird ..

Worst experience ever had reservations for July 18th to see a concert at Darien lake the concert got cancelled because of the virus which is completely out of our hands ,booked it through booking.com and had to fight with them and this motel to get our money mind you two months out and the motel kept 50.00 of our 165.00 ,so ridiculous with what is going on
If all you are looking for is a place to sleep this is perfect. Its clean, the staff is very friendly and theres cable. Oh, and free coffee and bagels.

Staff is terribleMy issue is she over charged me I booked and paid on price line when I got there she had a whole different charge for me the WiFi havent worked Ive stayed at the hotel 2different occasions the WiFi never worked the phone does not dial out to even local calls my room was freezing shr did give ne extra blankets I found already used soaps in the bathroom I called front desk for 2 hrs no answer all I needed was extra pillows she told me she was taking her daughter back to college Aldo we are told we get free breakfast I was only offered coffee there was no hot water when I woke up I had to wait at least 30 min this hotel is convient but Id rather drive to bativia & stay in the Holiday inn like Ive done beforeNot satisfied I gave it a second chance and in still unhappy

Great accommodations for the price. Our room was clean and well maintained. The owners were pleasant and helpful. When checking in, my friend and I reserved a spot on the shuttle to and from the concert we attended at Darien Lake ($50 round trip for 2 people) it was well worth the money! We will definitely be staying again when we attend another concert.
Pure, nice administration, across the street supermarket and fast food establishments. I recommend!

2022-06-18Positive: The couple that ran the hotel was very friendly and helpful. I would suggest this hotel to anyone looking for a very clean, friendly hotel. Was offered coffee when we arrived. Good location-gas station, grocery store and burger king was across street.

2022-04-03Decent rooms. No frills, clean, perfect for a simple overnight. Close to Attica/Wyoming Correctional. Rite Aid and BK right across the street. Owner very nice.

2022-05-20I have stayed here several times sometimes for months being homeless and the owners have always been pleasant, only disappointment is no longer allowed to smoke in the rooms but its u understandable as you can see the scars from past examples of why they no longer allow smoking in the rooms

2021-12-22Positive: I am an African American Muslim woman traveling alone, and I felt completely safe. I was greeted with a friendly smile. My room was ready, and they informed me of the available restaurants in the area. The room was neat & clean. I truly enjoyed my stay. Negative: There was nothing about the Attican I disliked.

2021-10-17It was very clean, the owners were very kind and efficient. And it was very inexpensive compared to what I’ve been paying the last 4 nights of our New England trip! Much better than the Comfort Suites we paid for by Norwich, CT the night before! No coffee in the room but Burger King right down the road as well as a grocery store. Also like the quiet area; not in a high traffic area. It was a little bit of a drive off the highway, but we’ll worth it. Only paid half of what we paid at the Comfort Suites that was so run down. Thank you!!

2021-08-29Ill admit that l was skeptical about booking here do to what I read about what other guests had written. However, when I checked in the woman who owns the hotel was very nice, she also told about places to see. The rooms are a little out dated however, unlike what l had read the rooms are very clean which to me is the most important thing. And anything you might need you can get right across the street in the shopping center including a drug store. Overall l like it here. Its clean, quiet, and friendly, I would recommend this hotel.

2021-08-15Old ac system from probably the 80s or 90s, the bathtub had some hair in it. No coffee, no iron. I booked two rooms at last minute, they had me pay 230.00 for each room and also they had the audacity to take a 40.00 deposit. One room had two queen beds and a beetle was under one of the pillows,old ac, no coffee, no iron. The other had just one queen bed, no iron, no coffee, and the freezer smelled of rotted meat. Think about it, 460.00 total, for two bedrooms no coffee, the tiniest toiletries ever and then, to make matters worse, you take a 40.00 and search the room in front of me before I leave? Are these people serious? You won’t give me my 40.00 bucks until you search the rooms so you can make me feel like a thief ? You are thieves and scammers and negative opportunists for ripping me off 430.00 for rooms that only deserve 70 bucks each. Why? Because I booked last minute? It still shouldn’t reach 430.00. I will advise any person to book ahead for any hotel, because they might end up like me and come across a hotel like this that rip people off for a living. Shame on you!

2021-09-05Staff was very nice. Beds were very firm, pillows very flat. Room smelled clean, but the bathroom needed more attention. A decent place to stay if you are passing through or going to a concert in Darian Lake.

2021-07-24Would give this place a five, but it is not new. Everything works all amenities, and sales person is helpful and respectable had a great two nights of sleep. Easy listening and nice verity of nature. Room was very clean and comfortable.

2021-07-25This is great little motel mom n pop place run by wonderful couple.They were friendly n very kind to us. Super helpful. Best thing is they have shuttle from motel to six flags was so good since we did not drive. Good little place room is decent size nothing fancy, only bad thing can say about it wifi goes in and out alot. Will stay here again for sure if come to area. Thanks for great stay..🇨🇦🇨🇦🇺🇸🇺🇸
