My wife and I stayed at Aubergine for a wedding weekend and had the most perfect time! We were pleasantly greeted by Christine, the owner, with her adorable dog. The house was immaculately clean and very historic: it has a French vibe that was executed well. The little details like wood accents, wood doors, original craftsmanship, etc. were preserved with such care. Christines cooking was to DIE for! She utilizes local ingredients to create some great dishes. We had such a great time, and cant wait to come back. If were ever in Penn Yan, were staying at Aubergine without a doubt. Thank you, Christine!

Our first ever visit to the Finger Lakes made all the more memorable via our host. Christine, the proprietor knows hospitality, and runs a beautiful B&B. Our room was impeccably clean, with a large private bathroom. A/C worked beautifully and was needed during our stay which had the weather being quite humid. Her breakfasts were beautifully prepared and delicious. Everything was made from scratch, with many of the ingredients coming from her garden. Christine was also impeccably knowledgeable and helpful as to winery recs, restaurants, museums and other points of interest. We only wished that we had more time as the grounds to her home were serenely beautiful and we should have taken advantage of this. As a fellow gardener, I truly appreciated and recognized her efforts in creating outdoor space that was very inviting. Next time for sure as Aubergine is truly a gem.

A wonderful visit. The inn is stately and nostalgic, the sleeping quarters extra comfy and the inn keeper a gracious hostess.Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, prepared with many locally grown and cultivated ingredients. Simply put, pride in ownership! If you plan to visit the Finger Lakes, the historic town of Penn Yan and the Aubergine Inn are a must. We’ll be back for certain!
