Extremely disappointed playing with this club in NY State Cup. The field was in unacceptable condition. The team rejected multiple offers to play on the neutral turf fields. The referees were biased and killed our team whistling one side all the time. When the penalty kick was defended by our goalie they blatantly made it repeated for no reason. Multiple yellow and red cards to players. The coaches and parents should be ashamed of what happened. As we know this is not the first time it happens and other teams do not wish to compete with Auburndale knowing this is exactly whats happening facing them in the tournaments. Pathetic and shameful practice killing other teams. Bed karma for the club.P.S. Whoever responded to my comment is a liar. Even though there were massive arguments between parents-referees-coaches, there was no single parent from our team who cursed any kid/player.

One star is generous. I have never experienced a worse run childrens program. The coaches were just wandering around the field and not giving any direction to the kids. We went for 6 weeks and not once did anyone else teach the kids anything. This was simply a money grab. Do not fall for it like we did.

After reading some of the questionable negative reviews I felt it important to contribute my opinion. Let me further say that I have been involved in youth sports both as a coach and a spectator for over 20 years. My experience, and the experience of my daughter with the Auburndale Soccer Club has been nothing but Positive. The trainers/coaches/managers and other staff have been outstanding. Their warmth and kindness shines through in everything they do on and off the field. Furthermore their professionalism and concern for both the players and parents has been consistent and ongoing. Specific compliments go out to Coach/Trainer Danny and Team Manager Michael. If anyone has any questions from one parent to another please feel free to ask. I have had experiences with other soccer clubs in NYC (not naming names) , and my experience with the Auburndale Soccer Club has been the best. GO HURRICANES!!!

I brought my son here for the first time four years ago. I cant believe I waited so long to write this review. The Auburndale Soccer Club coaches did a TERRIBLE job when my son joined because he knew absolutely nothing about soccer whatsoever and they failed miserably to teach the kids anything. The coach and assistants had the kids running around like chicken without heads and the kids were visibly upset because they didnt know what to do. Is this how you teach 5-6 year olds? Really?! Never ONCE did the head coach or assistant coach explain anything to the kids which was utterly shocking. We went from Day 1 and by the third game, I lost all hope and finally asked the coach why there was no direction. He said my husband or I should have had my son ask for training. Again REALLY?!? With this mentality, I might have taught my son dance lessons in my backyard with 10 monkeys in tutus!!! I was so disgusted for the lack of coaching that we gave up and ended up joining a little league instead where he is flourishing. Shame on Auburndale Soccer Club for not hiring better coaches who actually can teach the game instead of charging for lessons when there is none! Total ripoff!!!

They do not coach the kids. Terrible! The kids will not learn how to play soccer with no coach.
