I have had a very bad experience at this place several times. First, I took my Land Rover for some suspension work. This guy named Justin who works there gave me an absurd high price for the work. Therefore, I decided to go to an actual professional Land Rover mechanic and actually I got a better price of the suspension work for my Land Rover. Justin just gives prices from behind his desk based on a computer screen data. I bet he doesn’t even know the actual mechanic work that needs to be done. Also, I took my Porsche to this place since it wouldn’t turn on. They told me they would be able to do the work. However, they didn’t. My Porsche car was sitting there for about 3 weeks and no result from them came back. All they said was “oh some reset needs to be done”. They just spoke but no work was done. In fact, while the car was sitting there they just worsen my vehicle. I had no other choice but to take the car to another mechanic. Honestly, they WASTED MY TIME. I had my other car taken to this place my Avalanche Truck. This time they did the work but without returning all the screws and plastic properly as how it was in my truck. I noticed that when I got home. Then, I called Justin and he said to bring it back but like usual when I get there he disappears apparently “he’s at lunch break”. I had to come back and forth so that they can do the job properly. They take a whole day to work on the car.Other times, they have given me a bad and inaccurate response to the work that needs to be done to the car. Overall, when they see a problem or issue they don’t even look or talk about it. I do not recommend this place. Some of them work fine other don’t. They just work best at just inflating, putting tires on and brakes. Gave a review so that probably they can get better mechanic workers.
This place was beyond helpful and absolutely went above and beyond to help me during an unexpected emergency situation. I had a flat tire which seemed to have been slashed and was able to get to get intouch with Auburndale tire. Who quickly assesed by my spare donut tire I had in my trunk and had placed on my tire until; I had called everywhere possible within a 20 mile location and they were the only shop to have the EXACT tire i needed and were willing to have me come in immediately, no appointment needed and priced it way cheaper than any other place I had called. Justin and paul went above and beyond to help me. I would without a doubt no hesitation recommend this establishment to anyone and everyone. They are one of a kind and customer service is unbelievably surpassed my personal expectation. Thank you Auburndale tires & auto repair!!!!!! You saved a horrible day and situation within 30 minutes.
The staff here helped me tremendously on a Sunday. I had a flat tire that needed replacement for two days straight, I went to Pep Boys expecting one tire to be replaced in an hour. The Pep Boys mechanic said he could replace 2 tires for me but then he called me back 10 minutes later and said there was a computer error, the 2 tires are not in stock.I would like to add finding parking space near Pep Boys is not easy on busy Northern Blvd and near residential areas where there is limited parking.Fortunately on my way walking back to Pep Boys to pick up my car, I found Auburndale Tires and they were a godsend! Parking was very easy, in total, it took only 30 minutes to get my tire replaced. The actual tire replacement probably took only 5 minutes.Thank you so much Auburndale Tires!
*in response to owners comment* the service was good, you guys took care of the nail in my tire quickly and efficiently. In fact i think i may come again if i have another tire related issue, I only knocked off a star was because the staff were not wearing masks during the current Covid 19 situation. While i could understand while working on the cars by themselves persons may not wear masks, sitting at the front desk with strangers coming in and out may put the people at the front desk at risk.
Zero star! If I am able to, I would give them negative stars! The people are aggressive and rude. I went there for an alignment job. They charged the full price for doing nothing. They just asked me to do three thousand dollar-job to adjust the wheel alignment which I fixed every thing they told me with 500 dollars in another mechanic. They did not correct anything although I paid 100 bucks. They asked me to come back for the second alignment, but they still charged me again... no warranty at all. The next day, I noticed that the handle was tilted to left side after the second alignment. The handle was perfectly fine before the alignment job. I complained it, and they said my driving caused the handle problem in one day... which was ridiculous. And, they did not forget to say I had to pay to correct that problem if I want to do the job. So, I went to another alignment place, and they corrected every thing with 90 day-warranty that I can come back to them whenever I need for further alignment issues in the next 3 months!DO NOT Go to this place! Youre going to be charged as diagnostics for nothing.
This place is horrible HORRIBLE! NEVER COME BACK!Workers are very RUDE and OVERCHARGED. They are messed up my car ( one little problem they made a big problem for MORE MONEY) I was complaining about it but They dont care about it. They dont want to responsibility and very NASTY looking and laugh at me.(so stupid ). BAD and BAD!!!!!!
Today I went in to get new tires and rims put on my car and I could not be more happy with the service and quality. Justin helped and was very professional and patient. They were able to get the job done right on time as opposed to other places I have been to that put off their customers. I am very happy with the quality and customer relations they had. I will be recommending them to my family and friends. Thanks again
Dont go here for your alignment takes forever just go to firestone or a major company. car already misaligned after 600 miles and a month and a half and tells me they cant do anything about it.Update I did return on Friday but the person there told me it was passed 1 month so I left and thus wrote this review. I even called the previous day. Just go to a different shop and dont bother with this place. And I dont believe they called me.
Was brought here on the recommendation of my tow truck driver after getting a flat. Great, friendly, fast service and they went above and beyond by getting on the phone with my cars service plan provider to work out payment on the spot when I didnt have my plan info with me. In and out with a new tire in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommend this place for planned or emergency repairs.
Justin is awesome. 3 tires on brand new car developed bubbles within first 6-7 months. Dealer and other shop wanted to charge for new tire. Pirelli actually had a warranty that Justin informed me of that covered the tire damage. Very honest. Great work. Probably got in at a slow time of day with no appointment and being taken care of within an hour. Thank you! Ill be back
If I could give them zero stars I would. The owner of the shop Jerry is very, very rude. I need to get one new tire for my car. I came in around 10:45 A.M this morning and I spoke to Justin. He disappeared right in the middle of the conversation. I didn’t know what to do. I waited 20 minutes and I still did not see Justin. So, I asked another employee about where Justin was and what was happening to my car. They told me that they will finish the job within one hour after I waited half hour. At 11:50, I saw my car in their shop but nobody was working on it. So I went back to the office and told them please hurry up because I needed to pick up my daughter. The owner Jerry started to yell at me and he said that I had no patience and to not come here next time. He also said that he did not want my business. He said that he has worked since 7:00 this morning and he is working hard but that has nothing to do with me. He probably making so much money from us, and he doesn’t care losing one or two customers. I finally got my car around 12:15pm. Took me one and half hour to get a new tire, the whole job took less that 15 minutes. It is not right to treat a customer like this .
Got an oil change from here, only to realize that now my brakes are messed up.. Complained to them that the brakes are now making a squeaky noise, but they all came up to me and started telling me that they didnt do anything, definitely felt attacked at the fact that they wouldnt even let me explain myself.
Such a pleasant experience as soon as i walked in the door at Auburndale. Just recently purchased new tires and new rims for my brand new car. The work was done very quickly and for a great price. Would definitely recommend to all. Excellent service from great people. If you need tires or anything else done to your car stop into Auburndale.
Went there for a car inspections, the person that was on the counter helping customer told me that my car cant pass due to the tinted window, and charged me 300$ extra to remove it. But the facts is the window i had is from manufacture and is not tinted at all, and they also remove the ones on the backseat. I found out that is legal to have tinted window on the back seat. Anyway this place will try to scam you. Becareful
Great shop, had my tire in stock which I called 2 other shops and they had to order it. Its first come first serve so I had to wait a little bit but they checked all of my tires and the mechanic was friendly. Glad I got it fixed that day I was riding on the metal bead on parts of my tire. Thanks!
I was sure that I had a nail in the tire, so i took it Auburndale Tires. They had the car on the lift in less than 5 minutes. After inspecting the tire thoroughly they told me that there was nothing wrong with the tire or the rim. (They inspected all 4 tires and rims). The tech even inflated all of my tires to the correct pressure. Once the car was off the lift, I figured it would be a $20-$30 bill. THEY WOULD NOT TAKE MY MONEY!!!! I tried many times, and they just wouldnt take it. I wasted 30 minutes of their time, (and they were busy). I think the person I was speaking to was the manager or the owner, and he said, Im not going to take your money for putting air in your tires!Honest and courteous!!! When I need new tires, i am going to Auburndale...Even though I dont live any where near Flushing.
They are scam artists at this repair shop. They tried selling over 300 dollars worth of fraudulent repairs for one of my rental cars for a state inspection took my vehicle to another location for a second opinion. I have video tape and pictures I got from a trusted mechanic that the parts that they tried to sell me sway bar end links on a 2012 Toyota Prius saying they were disconnected and that was false . They also stole 37 dollars from me as a failed inspection. I will be reporting your business to the state . Hopefully your license gets pulled or heavy fines are waged against you.If the owner actually reviews this your phone number on your invoices does not ring so I can speak to an actual person . I had directed my renter come in for a quick inspection . I would like to be followed up with an a refund issued for my 37 dollars .
I’ve visited this shop twice. The first time was a few years ago, to patch up a tire and the service was great and I was attended to quickly. The 2nd time is was less than a week ago and I can assure every one I will not be returning there ever again. I returned once again to get another tire patched up, a simple service and I even told them exactly which tire it was. The waiting room was busy that morning, so it took almost an hour before they took my car in, which is fine, I’m a very patient person. Once in, they took quite a while before I got any update. They found some issues with 2 other tires on my car and the young gentlemen at the front desk, was more than helpful and knowledgeable. He made suggestions as to what tires would better suit my vehicle when I was ready to replace them. On the drive home, my tire pressure indication was going off while I was on the highway. I made it all the way home and checked the tire I had patched up, and found the pressure to be at 50 psi. So I decided to check all the tires since they had touched all my tires, and they were all serviced to 50 psi. It’s clearly marked on the sidewall not to service over 40 psi, and I know my tires should normally be between 32 and 35 psi. I immediately thought these guys are scammers. I was angry but decided to call them and figure out why it is they did that. So I called them and spoke with what sounded like an older man. I explained the situation and he really did not seem to care or believe me. Said their digital gauges are calibrated every month, I must’ve been the one to make a mistake. What kind of gauge did I use, No way their equipment could possibly fail. Needless to say, I had to let air out of every single one of my tires, the tire pressure indication on my dash went away and has not returned. The man on the phone was rude, even tho he did say he would follow up on the equipment used but it sounded more like he just wanted to shut me up and get rid of me. I’m definitely not returning there ever again. Im sure they don’t need my business, but I was planning to order the tires I needed there, prior to the whole phone fiasco and the tiny part where all my tires were over inflated.
Ive been here many times with a couple of my cars. The service is getting worse every time. Management is horrible ,prices are astronomical,( to fix a flat tire is $ 40 ) plus the waiting is forever with a empty store. Bad costumer service. you can go and take your car and see it yourself. your first visit will be the best experience ever ,after that you are a prey. The only good thing is that the technicians are professional and they know what the are doing .
These guys are the best. I brought my car in this weekend because of a slow air leak in my tire. Sonny and the Latin guy in the front (sorry didnt get the name) was able to determine what caused it and showed it to me. They took care of it real quick once the issue was located. I wasnt sure if it was a bent rim or an issue with the tire. They just had to reseal it. Thanks guys!
Not true to their word...Their website claims no Hassel, price matchI was charged almost $40 per tire more than what I found after I bought tires ... They didn’t even ask me which website...I tried to get them to price match and they made up an excuse that my price included installation. It was very clear on the receipt that installation was listed and charged separately...They didn’t want to talk to me....they never called me back. They totally ignored my email...I highly recommend that you go to BJs or Costco...If you go somewhere in the neighborhood make sure it’s not the same owners. My family used this place for more than 4 decades...this place has become a huge disappointment
Walked in for a simple oil change and left with 1hr and 30 min of lost time and NO OIL CHANGE! I watched as the mechanic not once but TWICE would take care of other customers as my car sat on one of thier mechanical lifts. I finally decided to ask what was taking so long just to come and find out that nothing was actually done to the car. My car was the only car in the garage when i first got there and can’t seem to find an explanation as to why So much time was wasted. Needless to say, I requested to get my car out of the garage and took my business else where. Save yourself the headache and time.......Response To the owner: please review your cameras and see who was in the waiting room first Before you say you guys “ work on a first come first serve rate.” That simply wasn’t the case. Also if your garage didn’t have enough workers at the moment you could have notified me that way I can make a decision from there. The lack of communication is absolutely unprofessional. Also my car was in the garage for the entire hour before the Asian lady that came in asking to get her tires changed due to a flat. There is absolutely no reasonable explanation as to why this occurred. Your correct I was explained what happened and your mechanic seemed to be very apologetic because he knew he was wrong. Maybe if you were in my position rather than come up with a rebuttle you would realize how unacceptable the service was this particular day. Thank you for taking time out of your day to respond.
Great location. Great service. Honest management. Looked professional by a young manager Justin. He seems to know what he is doing. They are just so busy to be serviced. Do not expect to be serviced immediately. But other than that everything was great. Clean an cozy waiting area. Very clean handicap sized bathroom.etc. I am satisfied with them
Well, it turns out these guys are not a good business.I just bought 2 brand new tires from this shack on 3/21/14. I got a bubble and a hole on one of them which caused me to get a flat tire on the highway, after 1 month of use. When I got to their shop expecting to have it replaced free under the 1-year warranty I purchased, Jerry, the guy who sold the tires to me and part-owner of the place, started yelling at me on the street in front of his employees and people on the street. When I asked him to stop yelling and speak calmly, he refused and said he felt like yelling at me. He insisted that I pay full price to have the new tire mounted. I left and I am not spending another cent here.Jerry was friendly when I bought the tires, but it seems like friendliness is only reserved for new customers when they can stand to make a buck. He actually had told me he was charging me in retaliation for changing my mind when I originally purchased the tires. Obviously I am not letting this go. I have already filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and if that doesnt resolve it, I will contact the manufacturer and take it to Small Claims Court.
Brought my car in for replacement of calipers, brake pads and brake rotors. Worked with Frank and he was a pleasure to work with. The Pros in their name is warranted as they have always done a professional and amazing job when I bring my car in. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to get work done on their car.
GREAT PLACE! After being lied to in my long island neighborhood about some issue that didnt even exist on my 2 year old car i decided to come here because its in my old queens neighborhood for tires.Service was very good, time was great , i was in and out with two new tires and an inspection for a good price . it is hard to find honest businesses especially when it comes to the auto business, but im happy i now have a reliable place to go get my car serviced .
I had an oil change here because i did not have time to do it that day. I usually change my own oil due to lots of dishonest technicians and shops. I did not get to drive the car after coz my wife was driving it. The next day when i was gonna drive it, i heard the motor had a noise coming from the rocker arms. I checked the oil from the dip stick and the oil was like 2 quarts low. I returned to the shop and complained about it and when they checked it. They were down playing it and said it was only a quart. And when the advisor was checking it he was holding the dip stick where the oil would run back down to the full, like i did not see it. They added 1 quart but it was still low of another quart. I will never ever come back here. Learn from my mistake. I paid for Synthetic blend and they prolly just used conventional regular oil. Because when they refilled it i was trying to see what kinda oil they were refilling it with, but the technician from Hindu was trying to cover the labels.
Thank you Auburndale tire shop for your courteous , attentive, professional service on the purchase of 4 new tires for my 2009 Hyundai Sonata . The staff is amazing and I will certainly come back as I am a first time customer . I will highly recommend you to my family and friends . Great job !
Basic repairs such as wheel alignment are fine. Ive been here 3x. The second time was to redo their improper programming on the tpms. The third time is the last, because the service advisor (or owner or whatever he is) Jerry, rip-off customers. Exorbitant amount on labor costs for customers bringing their own parts. Otherwise, they would charge 2x to 5x the price for parts bought there.
If I could give them no stars or 1/2 a star I would. I drove in there with my brand new Genesis (with no lights displayed on my dashboard) to have my four tires replaced. Turns out they busted every single one of my tire sensors and told me that the sensors were found that way. Which is bologna because my car was new and all four tire sensors were not busted, please. They wouldnt even do the job. They told me that I would only have to go to the dealer. They should never have had an unexperience mechanic doing my tires. There are plenty of tire shops in every single one of them seem to do the right job I just happened to pick the WRONG tire shop
Stanley the mechanic keeps this business afloat the day he retires I retire going there outstanding mechanic extremely talented ..TOO THE OWNER I BEEN GOING THERE FOR 25 years I knew Vito and sil make Stanley really happy the whole neighborhood knows him and they take their car their because of him just for your information...thank u....and JUSTIN IS GREAT AT CUSTOMER SERVICE
Great shop! The staff members are consistently kind and proffessional. A member of my church family arrived at Auburndale Tires deeply concerned about her flat tire and safely getting to work on time. Frank and his men quickly fixed her problem and checked the other tires (Even the spare!). She left feeling secure that she was driving a safe car again.Youll be seeing more of us from NPC on 46th Ave.!
Left waiting without being helped. I was told help was on the way.. Never was helped.. I left after wasting 30 minutes of my day. I only went there because of the good reviews. PS.. It did not seem very busy to me. Went up the street to Franks Tire Auto and Truck Repair and had a GREAT experience.
These people are incredibly unprofessional. All you hear is yelling like a lunatic. I pulled in to get my car serviced and all you hear is the owner or who I assume is the owner yelling at everyone- and yelling at people pulling in, including myself. That is no way to treat customers. Disgusting... never would give such a place my business.
This place is truly a life savor came in looking for 4 tires cause I drove up from Florida and used all my tred Justin quickly gave me a quote and got it done in a hour the girl in the front was very nice and down to earth she even helped entertain my kids :) thanks a lot guys you saved me a lot of stress !! Thank to ya me and my kids will have a safe ride home

On my way to work, hit a pothole on the Clearview Expressway,good-bye two tires.I was towed to Auburndale Tires. In spite of being an extremely busy morning at the shop,my tires were replaced very quickly, mounted, balanced & my rims needed some straightening, at what was more than a fair price.Jerry and his crew are very professional and knowledgeable.I highly recommend them

First time and it was the worst experience ever, purchased a tire three weeks ago. The trend from the brand new tire came off on part of the tire. I call and explain was told come down and we will see what we can do, get here looks at the tire and quotes me a price for another brand new tire. Has a warranty for 40000 miles but not for road hazard its a defective item, I am told sorry can help and was turned away. So much for good customer service and for quality of your tires and service. Will recommend all my fellow mta workers, friends and family never go to this place. Will be placing a complaint with better business bureau.
Been around long time very friendly and even helped me put air air in my bicycle.
Horrible experience.Went to take my car to wheel alignment. At 7:30am .Tech saw the car said I can do it 100% even though it was low . Waited Till 9:30 and then the tech says I can’t do the car anymore. You need to raise it because it’s low, I asked if he can raise it but they won’t even give me a price to raise the vehicle. Then says I need to leave it, but they won’t even provide a price. Ridiculous, a joke of a business. Please take your business somewhere else if you have a low car .Intrack tires, took my car in the same day. No issues.
Google states they close at 7pm. I call at 6:10pm saying I’m 5 minutes away and if they can help me plug a flat tire. Something that shouldn’t take more than 5 minutes. What’s their response? No you gotta bring it tomorrow.
Checked my tires and did a rotation. Cost was really affordable. I went early and was taken cared of fairly quickly. Nice people working here.
The guy named eddie shouted at us when we mistakenly entered the shop with our car as it was our first time visiting the shop and there was no signs or guidance. Although we didn’t react to his spazzing and just complied, you should be aware that he needs to calm down when the customers make mistakes. Lack of professionalism. The engineers did the job very nicely tho.
I had the misfortune of running over a bolt which punctured my tire at 4pm on Thanksgiving. This place was one of the few shops open and the only one where someone actually picked up the phone. The guy who answered was friendly and honest about not being sure if they could fix it that evening, but said I could bring the car in anyway. When I got there I was pleasantly surprised — the same guy who answered the phone immediately came out to greet me. He checked the tire with the other mechanic and they got to work plugging the hole, even refilling the air on all my tires afterwards, not just the punctured one! The whole thing was done in 15 minutes and for a very reasonable price. Couldn’t be more thankful. Highly recommend! Thank you so much for being open on Thanksgiving!!
Quick. Parking is a bit tight, but still not a bad place, good service.++ Went back again, because I came out one morning to a flat tire before work, couldnt make it there until until after work, like 5pm and they got me in and out in an hour; they sealed the tire and they were very (as always) professional.
Waited well over an hour to get a flat tire fixed. They might be good at many things. Getting the job done quick is not one of them. Also quite pricey compare to other places. Specially if you go for a major repair. Luckily they have warning signs indicating how pricey they are, so read!!
Did a great job on tires and service on my 2014 Subaru Foreater
