Zach was right on time, professional, and knowledgeable. He diagnosed our problem quickly and explained our options clearly. Despite the fact that fishing wires was difficult in our older house, he always maintained a positive and cheerful manner. I would not hesitate to use Auchinachie for any service I might need and would be very happy to have Zach do the work.
I am only rating on the 1st call out I received. Joe Rojas was the tech that came out and was very friendly professional and punctual! he made sure I got the best deal for me. so far I give 5 stars for the tech as far as the actual service I will make another review once I get the service done.
Jeffrey Sinclair was incredibly professional and pleasant. He took the time to walk us through the issues and what he would be doing to fix them. He did a great job and resolved our issue. Wonderful customer service also.
I hesitated to call a big company but I am so glad I decided to call. Mike was a gentleman, polite, to the point and honest. He new what I wanted and/or needed and was very upfront with me. The entire experience was professional and well executed. From my initial call and getting the emergency service scheduled through Jeff diagnosing the issue, presenting all the options, and fixing the problem. Highly recommend Auchinachie. Look out for the pricing! I needed the gas line for my dryer closed off because I got an electric dryer. They showed up and gave me an estimate of something like $700! I balked and the guy condescendingly wondered what I thought I certified plumber was worth. I told them I couldnt pay that. They called the central office (shades of car dealerships) got the price down a bit. I had the electric dryer there and, to my regret, let my eagerness to get the whole thing over with take over. To their credit they initially refused to remove the gas dryer but consented to do that since I was clearly unhappy.Still, it was way too expensive. The guy was pretty slick selling the job, justifying the cost by saying that they inspected for all gas leaks etc. But, later, I had a different guy over that I trust who said that tying off the gas line should have been basically a nothing job.
Weve been customers since coming to the area and have no regrets! Auchinachie techs are always polite, knowledgeable, and super helpful. Joe has come to our house on a few trips and hes always been fantastic. We have the membership program and its very worthwhile.
Logan and his partner/helper Tom were great! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly during our consultation. We had no hesitation to contract this company to do the extensive plumbing work we need.
The job that Jeff had done was for my moms place, he was friendly, very professional, courteous, did a great job for what had to be done, and did a great job cleaning up when he was done. My experience with this company starts with Elizabeth in the office. She was so patient and understanding when I told her the problem. She scheduled the technician ASAP and he came out the following day. I was constantly updated about his time of arrival. When James arrived he talked to me for a few minutes about what was going on and went right to work. A little while later, he found the problem and corrected it by ordering me the part that I needed and letting me know that it will be installed as soon as possible. He was polite and professional. I am very satisfied with this company and their employees.
Great service from initial phone contact through service techs completion of job. Tech Todd Bates was knowledgeable, professional and personable. He went out of his way to ensure the problem was solved today. He explained every step of the way and every charge. His knowledge of the company’s service and offerings ( i.e. yearly service contract) helped us save money and future worry. The company is 21st century with laptops for techs for immediate answers; processing orders and generating invoices - great new trucks too!Very happy to find this exceptional service with Auchinachie and Todd. Mikeour comfort tech was awesome. We really didnt know what wewere going to do. No heat or hot water.all things cost but the quality of the product was worth it. When he said we could get it the next day WOW! plus he helped us with financing. Thank you so much.
This was a big job. I had misgivings about the work that was going to happen today. The work was projected to take 6 hours, and they were here for 12. Previous contractor choices interfered with the work that had to be done and caused a time-consuming workaround, but the technicians worked to make sure that they addressed the issues I had communicated that were causing severe money loss in heating oil. Although there were more expensive options available for todays services, I felt that the techs were helpful in recommending the most affordable solution possible for the situation. The cost was high, but it didnt change even when the time involved doubled. The work of this team of technicians was neat and thorough and their willingness to answer all questions and make sure that I was satisfied overcame any apprehensions I had prior to this visit. This visit demonstrated an exemplary commitment of this team to the highest degree of professionalism.
John & scott were very polite, professional & knowledgeable, when they cleaned my drains and repaired my toilets ! they went out of their way to fix my well pump. fixing the well pump wasnt even on the work order. these guys are awesome ! john Russell is one of the best !
Keith M and Tim P did an excellent job. They were very friendly and respectful. Along with the HVAC scheduled maintenance, they connected water to new refrigerator and serviced the reverse osmosis water filter system. I highly recommend Keith and Tim!
Bill H. and his assistant went above and beyond to accommodate some unique circumstances that were present in replacing our central air system. He worked with us to have minimal disruption during the 2-day install. We are very appreciative of their flexibility and understanding.
I just bought my house and I needed some maintenance on my furnace and my chimney needed some work. I called Auchinachie, because they were the ones who initially installed the furnace, and I am very happy that I did. Paul and Todd came out at the time they promised and got the work done in less than a day. They kept me on top of the progress of work that was needed and necessary throughout the day. Both Paul and Todd were a pleasure to work with.
I purchased a new hvac unit with duct installation as well as a tankless water heater. Being in the construction business, I knew what I wanted and was not oversold by the sales dept but I could see the potential for that as with any sales job so just be educated as any buyer should. As far as the installation, which was very detailed and took several days, I was completely impressed with the knowledge of Tyler, Joe and Steve regarding the equipment and installation. This was not new construction, so they had to work around what conditions there was. They were clean, the work was neat and I was truly amazed by these guys! Wish we had workers like them! as for the bad reviews, i can only say the better YOU are informed about what you need done the better you are with any company. This was a costly job and they were worth every penny!
The boiler system went out early morning in January. We called Auchinachie because that is who serviced the system with the previous house owner.Desperate for heat we agreed to have the boiler replaced with a new on demand model and agreed to the 11 grand install price w/o pricing out other companies. Lesson learned.Fast forward 1 year, they come out to do the diagnostic checkup and yearly maintenance. I explained that one zone was not working properly. The tech went to work and had it fixed in an hours time. When he finished, he handed me a tablet to pay my bill over $700. The brand new system came with a 10yr. warranty covering parts and labor. Highlighted in the picture below.The tech nor receptionist could explain why it wasn’t covered under warranty, which I understand. But to this date, I have not received any phone calls or explanation to why the work wasn’t covered under the ten year warranty. Only a “someone will get back to you.” Please get multiple quotes if you find yourself in a situation like this and avoid Auchinachie.
Super impressed with everyone I worked with from the company. From intitial service person to, sales, to the team installing my new AC system. Incredibly polite, quiet (I work from home and there was zero disruption), on time every time, and really clean. No left mess behind. Completely painless experience.
An emergency repair request for pipes that had burst from a winter freeze was answered professionally and quickly despite it being a holiday weekend. Just extraordinary service, skill, knowledge, and professionalism. Spent nearly four hours and the repairs were of the highest quality. Just couldnt be happier with the job done. Service response ranks right up there with Amazon service which in my experience is the gold standard for customer care.
I tried 2 other local plumbers from friend suggestions...first company was horrible, second company said they would set up an appointment and then never got back to me. Auchinachie answered immediately, worked with my tenant to set up an appointment asap, and had the work completed by noon the next day! They were very communicative and showed excellent customer service. The pricing was sad but it had to be done and was comparable to the pricing of the horrible company I started with. The team that was sent to our home was fantastic. Carl and his coworker showed up early and stayed until the job was done. They left the area cleaner than it was when they arrived, and they took all the old parts and trash with them. Definitely would recommend this business!
Paul Marconi and his apprentice, Naeem, were super professional! They showed and explained to me the process of the repair, and left me feeling comfortable with my decision to use their service. I was impressed when I made my appointment and they gave me an appointment for the following day, and then called me back to tell me they could come same day - which left me with my central air working prior to a major heat wave. We are so pleased with the results of Auchinachies recent work on our house! Both of our showers had been leaking for six months. Mike Franey, John Russell, and the team from T and J Construction did a terrific job of finding the leaks, replacing the old pipes with beautiful new copper pipes, and installing a new shower stall and tub that work really well and look great. All of them were very kind, courteous, and efficient; they were also excellent problem solvers. We recommend them highly.

Joe R was my technician for the day. He arrived promptly on time and was attentive to every detail that make sure this is a great experience. He was professional in his work and explained everything in great detail and with politeness.
Called Auchinachie and they were the only local plumber able to come same day to check out a leaking pipe. Logan showed up within an hour of the initial call. He listened to our concerns and checked all the piping to locate the leak. He also made a few suggestions to improve our overall plumbing. He provided us with multiple options and worked with us on pricing. We would definitely recommend calling Auchinachie next time you have a plumbing emergency!
Joe Rojas was our awesome technician. Joe got the water turned off to the dishwasher and realized that the hot, cold and dishwasher valves were corroded and should be replaced. He throughly explained what he felt should be replaced and gave us 5 options for pricing. He also did a safety check on furnace and Rinni water tank. He showed us the corrosion in the old valves and discussed replacing water softener.I hope all of Auchinachie employees are this conscientious, polite and professional.Absolutely recommend this company.Thank you
Joe Rojas was on time and professional. I am replacing the water service from the municipal shut off valve at the sidewalk to the water meter in my house. This involved subcontractors and juggling to get things in place. Joe did an amazing job and followed up with each piece required.
They are definitely more expensive but you pay for their availability. Thats why I paid 500 more for a boiler repair. Came within 2 daysWent in eyes wide open. I asked them to replace a sink and faucet that I bought while they were here(was part of original appt) They wanted 800 to install brand new ones I just bought lol. There is no justification possible for that price. None I paid 249 to a licensed plumber out of vestal to do both. In and out under an hr. The workers advised me they dont control the price so not their fault. I would recommend calling a local plumber if not in a hurry. 5 stars for service 1 star for pricing.. a
Zach from Auchinachie arrived right at the scheduled time and made quick work of the plumbing repair needed - assessing the problem and replacing the broken fixture. He explained everything clearly and was unfailingly polite and professional. Ill be happy to use Auchinachie again!
During a time of urgency, I searched for a reputable plumbing business that would be immediately responsive to my call on that day. I called a couple of businesses in the area, and they could not respond because they were short on technicians at the time and were only dispatched for emergency only. I found a brochure from Auchinachie Services that I had received as a reminder of the other services that they had performed for me in the past. So, therefore, I called Auchinachie Services and scheduled a service appointment. They responded to the call immediately and dispatched the service technician (Justin Viviano) to my home on same day. He installed a new toilet and plumbing pipe repair and answered all my questions regarding other issues and problems. I will be calling Auchinachie Services and hiring him again to perform future work.Justin Viviano is very Knowledgeable, Professional, Courteous, and performs Good Quality work. This is a 5 *****Star Rating indeed!

Although that is the bad news, it is extremely important to also report that the entire crew stood behind the work and made everything right. To me, the measure of a business is just that. Great service from my first panicked phone call “we have no water” to the two technicians who got my water back and everything in between!! The wonderful receptionist who answered my call, John who came out on a Sunday and went through every step with us to get our problem fixed, and Scott and Ian who did all the work all day in the pouring rain! We can never thank you all enough! Not having water is horrible…Auchinachie got our water back!

We had our furnace replaced last fall by this company. The installers were nice enough, but the didnt complete the job. They forgot to tape up all of the gaps, holes, and connections of all of the sheet metal used to create the return. Some one had to come two days later to tape it all up.Today, the furnace does not work. Not even a year. And now we have to wait until Wednesday because that is when they are in town. THIS HAS NOT BEEN A GOOD EXPERIENCE AND EVERYTIME I MAKE A PAYMENT I KICK MYSELF FOR NOT GETTING OTHER QUOTES.
Every time they have come out for maintenance checks on our “top of the line” 5 year old boiler system, there is something that needs to be repaired. This has been the case since day one with this company. The boiler is leaking into the condensate pump (both units they installed). We have replaced the condensate pump a minimum of three times so far. Yesterday the unit was sparking and today they want to charge me $500 to install a new condensate pump that costs $59 on Amazon, never even addressing the leak from the unit they installed. They also did a shoddy solder job and tried to say that it was done previously….you can tell work that is recent vs 40 yes ago. Better Business Bureau will be getting a call, as will my attorney.
We called Jon Day at Auchinachie to come do a full inspection of our homes HVAC system. He arrived on time after texting us letting us know when he would arrive. He was courteous and professional and walked us through every facet of the system inspection, taking photos of each component and explaining its condition. At the end he explained which services and upgrades he would recommend is a no-nonsense manner. He also took the time during the inspection to fix a duct issue that had been causing a loud whistling noise that had been bothering us for months. We plan on calling him again in the future for anything HVAC related.
Service was as offered. The Tech explained everything, and what could be done in the future. No sales pitch. Great work! No issues, I recommend Auchinachie for your A/C and HVAC needs.
Once we got Zac to our home (had to schedule 3 visits) he was professional and explained all he was doing. We unfortunely had to get Zac back as he left the fan funning all the time. When he did come back it was a simple problem to reset the fan control. However, then the system would not come on and we had to schedule another call. After another service person came we were left with a constantly running air conditioner. Zac, again after a missed call, came and repaired the problem. If this company had experienced people like Zac available we would probably use their services again but as of now high costs, inability to keep scheduled appointments and some inexperienced service people we will not be using their service again. The reason we used them was they had bought out our original installer business and service.

Ted came back today because my smaller condenser was not working properly. Come to find out that the maintenance tech Logan had neglected to check my secondary air handler when he did the service on Monday and the filter was totally impacted. Ted knows what he is doing. Logan not so much. I would highly recommend Ted
I called Auchinachie for a clogged drain and the replacement of a pipe. The first visit didnt fix my clogged drain although we thought it was clear. I gave Auchunachie a call back. Jeff S.personally called me, and came back to fix the issue without a problem and was more than fair to me. Thank you, Jeff S. I am overly satisfied with the outcome.
Joe Rojas was excellent! Polite, neat, knowledgeable. Took the time needed to diagnose problem. Took time to listen to me and actually hear what I was saying. Unfortunately he is not on your list of technicians to choose from on your survey. Explained everything in detail. Cannot say enough good things about him. Update on 8/5/22. I called over two weeks ago and got no response. Will not use again. I even said things were worse and I needed help then. Appointment made; he only called. Told him what I thought would work and that was the end. Nothing further.

Auchinauchi saved the day when our pipes burst 1/31/22, so I called them last night when I heard suspicious noises which sounded likewater rushing. Turned out there was no problem, but I very muchappreciate Jon,the service representative, coming out in the middleof the night to ease my fears.He was extremely kind and thoroughlychecked all possibilities for leaks.
Jeff Sinclair came out to take a look at a broken sewer pipe in my basement he quickly assessed the problem and provided several options to take care of our needs. Jeff came back today to repair a major leak stemming from the work done the previous day where a soldered joint had failed within 24 hours. I was rightly not charged for the emergency weekend service call. They stood behind their work and made it right.

Had Aichinachie come today to check our HVAC UV light system and air filter. Outstanding service all the way around. Service Tech Zack Pencek did the work and will try to stay with him in the future as our Tech. Soon ,you all know it, a furnace check come Fall season is due..not counting any number of items yet to check..Call Auchinachie and ask for a tech named Zack. Good install experience. Showed up promptly and completed the job. Only issue is that for some reason the receipt for the work was supposed to be sent to me and I never got it. Needed to call to have it reissued.
Jonathan Day and Naeem F were friendly and honest, which I appreciate. Fully explained everything that was not working and told me what the best deal was to help save some money! They set up an appointment for an estimate while they were here as well. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC needs!
2nd updateHad furnace installed and have had several issues with trying to get it up and running and a leaking pump. But they have been great coming out and doing their very best to try to solve the problem and get it up and running. I have been very happy that they have been so wonderful getting someone like Larry out so fast to do get me back up and running. Hope that by tomorrow we should be 100 percent by the end of the day.Update my furnace had to be replaced and Mikemade it very easy to understand. He went over the process. Now I wait for my new LG handler to come in! Thank you!Removed and replaced whole house water filter with 2 step water filter system and fixed my furnace that hasnt been working properly. Justin and Rich were here on time, showed me each step of the plan and didnt try to push me into buying more than I needed. Also very friendly and professional and took their time doing it correct and didnt rush. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of service. When I made the original call it was very easy to get lined up for an appointment as well. I will be using this company from now on for all my heating and plumbing needs in the future.

Young woman found correct whole house filter and RO filters for my Kinetico water system. She also secured a Kinetico filter wrench for me which I had not been able to find elsewhere. Very helpful and professional.

Auchinachie was fast clean and efficient the service tech Larry G. Was fantastic he was polite thourow he expanded a few options and didnt try to over sell me with things I didnt absolutely need he got my boiler repaired and cleaned the heat exchanger furnace is running like new I trust Larry he was strait up honest clean and he was prepared no surprises he listened to my request on what Id like dont and explained thair were a few routs we could go we decided together on what was going to be done he ordered the parts as soon as they came in got me scheduled and came repaired furnace exactly like we discussed im so pleased the next time anyone including me needs work Id call auchinachie and ask for Larry dont get me wrong im shure all thair techs are great but Larry is my first pick becouse of this experience thanks Larry and thank you auchinachie everything is running perfectly and clean
Capped the gas line so I could switch to electric stove. It took two trips due to shape of new stove, but Rashad took care of it courteously, professionally, and completely!

Jordan is knowledge, professional and very patient. He replaced an old, tired oil boiler with a new propane combi boiler. It was a ton of work that he and his team did without fuss or complaint. The new system looks almost like a work of art as he was fastidious about every detail. He worked extra hours and even stayed until 8 pm the second day to make sure that my new system was functioning as it should. I asked many questions during the install and he very patiently answered each one. I couldnt be happier.Added 6/22:Just had Todd do an annual inspection of my combi boiler. I asked many questions and he answered each completely and patiently. This is the kind of customer service I appreciate.
I can’t say enough good things about the fantastic service I received from Auchinachie and technician Justin Viviano. His work was completely professional. He left the area after making repairs to the water filtration system and installing a new water heater clean and orderly. I also appreciated receiving texts about the appointment and that the service technician was on his way. I would highly recommend using their services.

Zach Pencek was awesome! He was clear and concise in describing the problem with the existing unit and also with outlining my options for remedy. I called Auchinachie to perform a gas pressure test. I was quoted a $119 service call plus any parts & sales tax. Lo and behold - I receive a credit card charge for over $450 due to an undisclosed $325 gas pressure test fee. No materials were used so the price should not have exceeded the quoted $119+tax. Not the first time I have heard of these guys over charging - but I figured with a price quote in hand and an extremely simple job to be done, how could this be an issue? But never the less, they found a way. Would not recommend for anything.
This is the Second time I had a Auchinachie come out and fixed my well the first time was when my pipe from the well to the house broke they came out fix it all in one day which was great they made sure that I was happy before they left Paul M.and Ian #1 and John and Ian .R #2 and the excavator Company was GREAT Bunch of guys they we’re always smiling very attendive to my questions they made sure that they left no mess behind ! Called in 2012 to have a furnace installed and they sent Bob Harlost to help me get setup. He was very professional and had all the answers i needed. Great guy and made it all happen. 10 years later I called to get a quote on getting a central air unit put in and who shows up at my door? The one and only Bob Harlost! It was like a blast from the past. Very interesting to see some of the things that have happened in our lives over the last 10 years but just as before, he was very professional, had all the answers I needed and I feel reflects what a truly great company Auchinachie is made of. Ray and Matt were wonderful, they were very professional and efficient in addition to being friendly and respectful in my home. I feel much better about our furnace now that it has been maintenanced by them, my husband and I will definitely be calling Auchinachie again and telling our neighbors.
So first of all I scheduled with this company back at the beginning of 2021 for our yearly cleaning of furnace and Central Air systems. The first time I scheduled they set up a four hour window and emailed to even confirm they were coming and then after I used PTO time that day, they finally called at like 5 and said sorry they didnt have any oil technicians left to send out to me that day. After that I really should of just looked around and found someone else but I didnt and rescheduled with them. No apologies or nothing they just nonchalantly said do you want to reschedule or not and unfortunately I said yes. Then Jay came out and to do everything and after that I actually felt good about his work. Even so much we signed up for the maintenance plan for them to come out once more in 2021. So the next time they came out in October again I used PTO time on the scheduled day and again same issue happened. Because I paid for the maintenance plan I had no choice but to reschedule due to the fact I paid for this extra service. So overall it cost for 4 half days of PTO time and not a single apology or anything just to get the two appointments done. Now come January 2022 we come home from a family outing and idk why but we walk in smell gas. I look everywhere and then check our furnace and realize it was leaking oil. Clearly had been leaking for quite some time and God knows what would of happened if we didnt smell it that day. So we called these guys for emergency service to come out here and they again had no oil guys available and said not to worry about it and asked us if we wanted to schedule with them in about 3 days. This seems like a B rated movie happening in real life I swear. So we finally found someone to come out because we have young kids in the house and it was below freezing temps. So this new company comes out and instantly finds the issue. They never tightened the high pressure nozzle line and that caused the leak. The new company told us to contact you guys and explain the situation and even if needed they would talk to you. After multiple promises of supervisor callbacks that never happened I finally reached one. Just to be told that they will ask their guys and cant believe this situation would ever happen. Well weeks later and still cant get them to just simply reimburse the $150 from the emergency service I needed from a mistake their technician made. Terrible customer service here, poor work clearly and poor scheduling. Being such a big company you would think they would care but I guess quantity over quality is the general consensus these days.Update:. This is because it is under my wifes name as she as spoken with you guys. Nothing was done and no callbacks to resolve the situation. Be careful with this company.

Getting an appointment was easy, but I really wish they would have listened to what I wanted done originally to avoid any confusion with my appointment. I received a call mid-day, day of service to cancel or reschedule when I had taken the day off of work to be here for it, even after I called in the morning to try and narrow a timeframe down and nothing was mentioned.. Back in March they repaired heater and convinced me to pay a fortune for quality care I called about ac repair and again want to get money not sevice I paid $329 and they di not do anything still no ac and its 81 degrees I feel repair is the last thing on their mind

Our heat quit working and they sent someone out as soon as they could to figure out the problem. Our ignition switch had broke due to our gas pressure being set up for natural gas when we have propane. We had been using it for 6 years without knowing. Our system couldve been damaged more extensively but thanks to Auchinachie our system is running better than ever!

Claimed to have repaired our heating system which they had installed 10 months ago! The repair lasted less than 4 hours! Called again to report that we had no heat despite the recent service! We were told that they could provide no additional help! Huh? What? We demanded to speak to a manager and were told the soonest that a manager could contact us was 48 hours! This would have meant going at least another 48 to 72 hours without heat and hot water with the temperature outside at or below 0! Repeat : ZERO!!! We were very unhappy!

Needed to replace shower faucet. Requested appointment online. Within 30 minutes I received a call to make appointment. They explained everything up front as far as Service Fee and time they would arrive. Text messages continue through the process. Technician Paul Marconi arrived within 2 hours and went over the price plans with me. I decided to have the work completed and I am very happy with the work. I like that the price is given up front and no extra fees added the end of the work order. Paul was very honest about the current state of the bathroom plumbing. Also very knowledgeable on other projects that I need to get done. After the work was finished, he took time to just have a conversation and even laugh or 2. Not only was the technician rude he also did not complete the install in a professional manner. After over a month of calling back and forth with the installation department I finally had my issue with the installation compensated by not resolved. For follow up service they have been rude and noncommunicative. would not recommend.

Had a water leak from a failed shut off valve on our water heating system. This occurred on the evening of an ice storm. Called for emergency service and was told that no techs were out, but that I would be called first thing in the morning. The call came as promised but the tech called in sick. The dispatcher spoke to me and went out of his way to get another tech to arrive an hour later. Zach P. did an excellent job in diagnosing and replacing the failed shut off valve. Many thanks to both the dispatcher and Zach P for getting the job done correctly.

I have a gas fireplace that quit working. Company that installed it said they had over 100 calls ahead of me! I called SIX other companies and NONE returned my calls. I called Auchinachie and they came the very next week! GREAT SERVICE VERY PROFESSIONAL
My elderly mother used them to repair a leaky kitchen sink. When I got to the house the tech had opened the drain below the P-trap on the sink and left it open. He told my mom the methane he was letting in the house was proof he needed to redo the whole drain line. I told tech to leave, and he did. I repaired the drain he had taken apart, and it never leaked. Then they sent the bill to my mom; the bill was over 1000$. I called the attorney general to start the complaint having previously worked as a plumber I knew it was all bogus. Never let a loved one that doesnt have a little base line knowledge about plumbing use this company.

Furnace ignitor stopped working. They were able to fit me in the next morning. Tech arrived right on time and in just a few minutes found the issue.Off to the warehouse to get the part and another 10 minutes were back up and running.They are a bit pricy but if you want it done fast and sure its worth the price.
Great service from Auchinacie! Not a simple diagnosis. Ray Allen and Matt identified the potential issue and worked back to locate the real problem. The part was not readily available. They called in the order and we’re back in less than 24 hours to fix the issue. Had a washing machine delivered on Saturday and they couldn’t install it because they broke an older pipe and started a leak. Shrugged their shoulders and left. I scrambled for a an emergency plumber and while everyone in my area were closed for the weekend, this company is 24 hours and set up someone to come out as soon as they can. Someone finally came in a few hours and they looked at the issue and were able to fix the leak and install machine in about 20 min. My tech was Jonathon Day and he was very professional and explained everything and gave me the best options. Made sure everything was working in the house after the delivery guy shut off the hot water in an attempt to stop leak. Very grateful for his help! He truly wanted to make sure everything was working and we had no other issues. Great job and will be a regular customer.

Auchinachie Customer Service contacted me that it was time for the yearly cleaning of my gas furnace. A time was scheduled for the technician, Ian, to arrive at my home. Ian was right on time. I showed him where the gas furnace was located. He went right to work. When Ian finished he explained to me what was done. I was very please with his explanation of work completed. Ian was also very professional in his appearance and manner.

We have a fairly labor intensive repair on our shower right after moving into our new house. The turn-around for service was great, Logan was on-time and professional and we had the shower fixed in a couple hours of the appointment. He also consulted us for other plumbing issues in the house which was super helpful.

Auchinachie sent a plumber out to check our well pump. We had called a more local company and they wouldnt even come out. After setting my appointment up I got text and phone call confirmations until my plumber, Jon Day, arrived. Jon was a really nice guy and he was clear about each step he was taking and was really helpful and trustworthy. I will definitely call Jon in the future to help me again. Dont be scared away by the call out fee! The service is well worth it. Ask them to send Jon to your place- you will not be disappointed.
Zach Pencek did a great job replacing my water heater. He was friendly and efficient, explained what the problem was (no hot water!) and what was needed to fix it. He also gave me an estimate of what it would cost, and the price didnt change when he was done. Zach left the basement water heater area cleaner than when he got there, and explained how everything worked. Im very happy I went with Auchinachie, theyre worth the price. Also, Matt in the office was very helpful and kept me informed as to when Zach would arrive. I also received a text message with a photo of Zach, so I also knew who to expect. Very happy customer.
Bob Harlost came out to look at our deteriorating oil boiler and give us some quotes for a replacement. He was very knowledgeable and explained things in an easy to understand way. He was not pushy at all and made the process very smooth. We had a new natural gas boiler installed today and we are very happy with the whole process. The installers did a great job with our old copper pipes, corroded iron, and leaky valves. They ran new gas lines and made it look so much better in our basement.
Angel, Jameson, and John R worked on our hvac system. In 2 days they were able to replace/relocate our furnace, add in new central air and clean our ducts. The guys worked extremely fast and did an amazing job! They were all very professional and helpful. We have 3 animals in the house and they were always very mindful of them before entering the home. Overall we are glad we went with Auchinachie and thrilled with the crew they sent onsite!
Angel G. & Dylan H. showed up on time on Monday morning to take out my old compressor (seized) and furnace and replace with new. They finished before noon on Tuesday. Was experiencing a little problem with newly installed boiler. Called Auchinachie at 10am and Tyler arrived at my house right after lunch! Tyler is very personable and professional. Auchinachie installed a new compresor and were supposed to put in a new filter drier in the air condition unit which they never did see photos last june for the total amount of $7197.12 with a 1 year warranty. Less than a year the unit stopped to cool Auchinachie refused to honor the warranty. They wanted another $3000.00 to repair the unit.They were very nasty unprofessional. Every technician knows that when you change a compressor you must to change the dryer filter especially when you change to a different Freon. if not the compressor goes bad. (Auchinachie didn’t changed it like in the contract) but in the report they wrote that they changed it I called Auchinachie beginning of the summer complaining that the AC is not cooling .but they didn’t want to do anything about it. after a couple months I put in a review the next day they calld me I should take off that review they will fix it. after a couple days they called me that I have to put in another $3000 for cleaning and some other nonsense. when this machine was cleaned and servicetd in beginning of the summer. and they threatened me if not they will make me trouble.
They installed new Amana propane furnace in 2011... took them 5 separate visits to install the new furnace.. the 10 year full warranty is only honored if the yearly service./inspection fee of 250-450 is paid...that was never explained when the salesman sold us the furnace. So you need to pay an extra 2500-5000 on top of the $5000 it cost to install it.After a summer season of very little use.. I noticed a potential problem and called to ask questions. They refused to do anything nor honor warranty. Something wasn’t operating correctly with water supply to humidifier... water supply didn’t seem to shut down. Water sounded like was running to much. So I turned off water supply to furnace permanently to avoid damaging my wellUpdate August 2019—. Service tech who use to work for them checked out my furnace as I suspected water supply to humidifier wasn’t hooked up right.. confirmed. Auchanachie dopes wired it wrong.. . Auchanachie wired it to supply water anytime fan motor was running. Now it only supplies water when humidifier sensor calls for it. Shocking.... find an honest and competent service tech. Run fast away from auchanachie.Owner. I’m not calling you. You’d only want more $. All I want is professional competent service with honesty and integrity that can be trusted All I got was incompetent installation which could have permanently damaged my well. Things I heard your workers did on jobs. OMG Shocking!! Feel free to mail me a refund check in full.
John diagnosed our AC issue and was aware that if it was too costly we would be going with a geothermal system with another company. Rather than being competitive and putting down this decision, he supported it an provided helpful advice and concern about our high velocity vents—would the geothermal system accommodate these. He wrote up a timely and thorough report that I could send on to the geothermal company. John was thoroughly professional.
We needed a new expansion tank and pressure valve. Yes we were without water for a bit, but Tim professionally went about getting us all fixed up with new parts. He was also exceptionally pleasant to work with. I highly recommend him.
Although I haven’t had the actual work done yet, my representative Bob was extremely nice, communicative and pleasant during my initial consultation visit to discuss my air conditioning needs. I am very much looking forward to working with Auchinachie.Just finished install today and I am more than pleased with the quality and professionalism of both installer John and Carl today! It was a pleasure to have them in my home and they were extremely thorough with everything they did today. I couldn’t recommend them any higher!

2022-05-27WARNING! Do NOT use this company. Apparently, I made the mistake of not checking out BBB reviews. Our toilet was leaking out of the base, it just needed a new wax seal. The tech told me it was $430 (this included a $59 fee for the call out). I had no idea how ridiculous this fee is and the fact its simple enough to do even myself. So I agreed to the fee. Now at this point live & learn, I had agreed and they did the work. But heres the thing....it wasnt just a really expensive service that Id regret. No, the condition of the toilet ended up worse than before the charge and resulted in an emergency fix needed! In this case, this is where I have a problem. I called and the lady I spoke with said they can send the same tech out (theyd wave the normally $119 service call fee, oh how sweet) and he would assess and give me an estimate. I told her I felt like the fee charged before was excessive, I dont feel comfortable working with the same tech, and theres no way Im paying more money for something that should have been fine. This was not a complicated repair, he could have only messed this up by absolute neglect. I requested a refund and the lady said shed send it on to management for approval. I waited and hadnt heard back so I also sent an email on the request along with a pic to show the toilet was even worse. Another lady called right away and said shed forward it on to management....again. Then next call, the guy only made excuses that it was under warranty and they fix for free, first off your paperwork says nothing about warranties and second off I was told when I called to get it fixed Id be charged more. The next excuse was the tech told him there was some hardware that was bent. Really, if that is your excuse why wasnt it fixed then, also there wasnt anything bent, the tech broke the securing bolt at the base. This guy told me he could refund $100 but AGAIN would need to get the rest approved with management. At this point, its obvious its only a runaround. Next day he left a message theyd only do the $100. Worst experience with a company in my life. Unacceptable.

2022-01-20We had emergency crew & sales rep Bob here yesterday & an installation crew here today. One furnace broken down and decided to replace 2 furnaces & the AC as well as some duct work. There is 2-3 more days of work left, but I wanted to write this promptly, as they deserve it!These guys are Prompt, polite friendly organized knowledgeable respectful masked & booties👍We were Kept well informed of their activity & progress.The company also sends informative arrival & safety texts with photos of the crew before their arrival. Very pleased with their quick responses …Great crews, hardworking & great at explaining!Thanks guys we really appreciate you all, even the answering service was great!!Highly recommend 👍

2022-06-10Tyler and Joe are consumate professionals. They installed central air conditioning in one day, and a water treatment system the next day.They were polite, respectful of me , my wife, my dogs and my home. They kept me informed every step of the processes, let me know if they had to leave etc. They took precautions to make the job as esthetically pleasing as possible. They were very thorough testing, checking and double checking everything. They explained everything I feel I need to know to use the systems and do the normal upkeep I need to do. I couldnt be happier with their workmanship and will definitely use Auchinachie again should I want or need any of the many services they provide.

2022-05-31Jeff Sinclair fixed an external spigot that i had broken while trying to replace it. While here, he also installed a new external spigot on the other side of our house. He worked quickly and efficiently and did an amazing job. He didnt talk down to me and he explained what he was doing each step of the way. He was also just a very nice guy. I would recommend Jeff (and Auchinachie) highly for any plumbing repair work you have.

2022-02-24Auchinachie is by far the best company I’ve ever used! The technician Paul arrived to my house on time and was very polite and knowledgeable. He went over different pricing options to fix my issue and allowed my to pick which option worked best for my financial situation. Paul never spoke down to me or made me feel pressured into purchasing anything, which is something I’ve experienced with other local HVAC companies in the past. Also, I was very impressed with the customer service & Matt kept me up to date throughout the day and informed on when the technician would arrive. All in all, I HIGHLY recommend Auchinachie and will be using them exclusively.

2022-08-12Timely arrival of workers. Courteous and respectful interaction with them. Complete shower and bath replacement, enclosure as well. Mold mitigation. Work completed within promised time frame. Job completed yesterday, but all indications at this time are of a job well done.

2022-03-24Jeff Sinclair came out to my My house that I had just recently purchased he did an extensive plumbing check on the entire house and have me some really great recommendations. HeProvided me with several different options. It was quite different from what I am used to and I must say I love how they do it. It made me feel totally In control and I didnt feel pressured into doing anything. I chose several upgrades in my new house and everything he did was flawless.he kept a very Clean work area and everything he installed was nice and neat. 2022-05-31Todd was courteous, friendly, efficient, and did a great job. He was careful with his work and gave us information about how to avoid our problem (a leak at the water tank exit) in the future. The prices this company charge are high, but we went with them beause they have enough employees to respond quickly; local plumbers take months. As always, time versus money. This business is very professional, and thats what you pay for. Their office is well-organized; professional on the phone, sends texts with a photo of the repairman and tells you when they are on the way. If Todd is an indication, their repairmen know what they are doing. Very satisfied with their service.

2022-06-20Todd B was awesome! He explained what needed to be done for the service (with photos). And also explained why having a package was beneficial and cost effective. He was neat and honestly you’d never have known he was working! We were so pleased with the service and know the AC will continue to do its job!
