Give Aurora Sewing a visit at either location. Great display of machines with the floor space available. Love the variety of fabric thats available. Aurora holds MANY classes/events/clubs (sewing, embroidery, serger, Kimberbell): check out their seasonal Sewing Times. Love their staff; owners, Alyssa & Scott, are hands on and very down to earth, teachers are very knowledgeable (Ive taken classes with Diane, Eileen or Nicki), store managers & the rest of the staff are always willing to assist with questions/issues. project/fabric selections, machines. Tech Dept is awesome and keep my machine running smoothly. Love their newly, updated website with links to other companies. Give Aurora a try!!

Both stores have a super selection of fabric, machines and everything for the quilter/seamstress. The teachers are wonderful and knowledgeable and willing to share that knowledge with you. Repair employees are the best in the industry!! Sales personnel will go out of their way helping the customer, and the owners, well, they deserve all the praises for hiring exemplary employees and running a superb business. Kudos to Scott and Alyssa!!
Scott and Alyssa have done a great job filling the job as owners of the best quilt shop in WNY after the sudden loss of their mom. Aurora Sewing Center carries high quality, beautiful fabric, every type of notion, the best seeing machines on the market, and offers a wide array of classes. The sales staff is very knowledgeable about their products, helpful, and friendly. The instructors are also very helpful, friendly, and terrific sewers. I love shopping there and tell others what a wonderful place it is.

Love everyone at both stores. Staff is knowledgeable and well prepared for classes. Everyone is so friendly. And, most important we always have so much fun at meetings, classes or when just dropping in for a few minutes. I ordered some fabric today and spoke with Ina. I wasnt sure if the material was the color that I wanted. She went above and beyond by searching for different fabric that I was looking at on the website. Its so hard to decide and she was very patient with me. I finally decided on a print and color that I liked. You have the best customer service! Thank you, Ina!
A friend recommended this store. They are super nice, helpful, knowledgeable about all makes and models of popular machines. They had even heard of my Juki commercial and my ancient Elna serger. Not a lot of apparel fabric here (mostly cotton quilting) but that seems to be the norm these days, sadly. Would recommend.
I give ASC 5 stars! Whenever I come into the store I am greeted by friendly staff. The retreat was so relaxing and full of laughs and friends! My only complaint was that it was too short. I am not totally comfortable with the embroidery part of my Destiny II. I was forced (by me not staff) to figure it out and succeeded, with help from staff when I got to frustrated. I am so happy to be part of the ASC family.
My sister signed up for a beginners class and was never sent a list of materials to bring. When she showed up they said you should have checked your spam email and basically blamed her for their neglect. She left upset and crying after driving 45 minutes and being so excited for a class she couldn’t even take. After going to ask someone else they came back and did refund her for the class but maybe letting people know what to expect and what to bring would be helpful before they pay and make the trip to only be disappointed. Pretty poor way to run a business if you ask me. And side note, how do you expect a beginner to provide everything including their own sewing machine?! Stupid.
A medium to large size store, they have fabric and all kinds of accessories. One of the sewing machines was working on automatic and is memorizing to watch (one of my wifes dream machines). They also had vibrant colors of panel fabric. We will definitely be back!
Very knowledgeable staff. The best Bernina and Babylock equipment. They stand behind their machines with classes, repairs, fabrics and supplies. My wife swears by them. Highly recommend!
I had been using my Babylock serger to make masks and I went to switch the thread. I could not get the right looper threaded. There wasn’t enough air going thru to push the thread through. I called E.A. and spoke with one of the servicemen. He suggested I run the wire through the machine. I had forgotten about the wire. I did that and sure enough a puff of lint was pushed through and I was able to thread the machine. This is not the first time the staff helped me through a machine problem without bringing the machine in and with no cost to me.
Had a problem with my 780. Problem with frozen computer screen.Thanks to Janelle for explaining how to calibrate, saving me a tripand the expense of repairing my machine. She was great and Ilearned a lot. Thank you Janelle

This is a wonderful quilt shop with a fantastic selection, and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about their product lines. Its the top store in the Buffalo area.
I just had my sewing machine repaired here and was very satisfied with the turnaround time and the price. Parking is a little difficult and getting the sewing machine into the shop a little challenging.

2022-01-21I am new to sewing and I must say, when I came in with questions that are so simple they were so helpful! The store is beautiful and they had an overwhelming assortment of fabrics and necessities. They also gave me a paper with classes to help me get started. So glad there is a place close by in town to help and get supplies.

2022-04-27I am here atleast 2 times a week sometimes more. Scott is very friendly and helpful. Katie is also my go to girl. She is very knowledgeable on various machines. She just sold me another new machine to add to my collection. Janelle always smiling and has great encouraging words. Love Gavin when he helps his mom on live sales. Alyssa is doing a great job on live sales, I am addicted lol. I have more material thank I know what to do with. Best sewing center

2022-04-11I new to the area and discovered this store last month. It has handicapped parking out front. Only one step up to enter the store. The staff is warm, friendly and eager to help. If they dont know the answer they will find out and get back to you. Not only do they have fabric, thread, patterns, kits, software, machine accessories and difficult to find notions, they sell sewing machines, embroidery modules, sergers, long arms, chairs and sewing tables. There is so much to explore and new items seem to arrive on a daily basis. Did I mention their clubs? They have in-store events, zoom classes and a score of instructors to help with your sewing needs. I dont think I will bored in this shop. Dont forget to check out the other shops in the area. Explore Viddlers Old Fashioned five & dime the juice bar and bakery or the many other merchants. 👍

2022-04-11I love Aurora Sewing Center! The staff is extremely knowledgeable about all things Bernina which is wonderful because I love my Bernina sewing machine. Everyone is helpful and friendly and I find this pleasantry very helpful to improving my skills. In addition, the fabrics are beautiful and it’s pretty easy to catch what you want, on sale!

2022-04-26I attended my first class for my BabyLock machine. I have been sewing for years and have been self-taught. The instructor was very knowledgeable, and I did learn many new things. I plan to attend more classes in the future.

2022-04-13When you shop at Aurora Sewing Center you get treated like you are at the spa. The staff calls you by name. No one hurries you. Everyone is helpful and friendly. If you have questions about your machine, they get answered.
