Cannot say enough positive things about AutoClinic and Bill. Took my Mercedes Benz suspecting Motor Mounts and they took me without an appointment and confirmed what I already suspected. Bill worked tirelessly with my extended warranty company and got them to cover 95% of the repairs.Big Shout-out to Bill and the Amazing Crew at AutoClinic. You Rock!
Calibrated height sensor on air suspension system, in which no other auto repair shops could figure out.Did not charge dealership prices or do the dealership gimmicks.The shop is clean and well organized.I have officially made Auto Clinic my go to shop for all my auto repairs.
This is the most amazing shop in Mahopac. Honest, Reliable and knowledgeable! I have three vehicles and every single one is only serviced by AutoClinic. The entire staff are incredible. I tell them all the time how lucky I am having them as my mechanic shop. I’m a retired police officer on a fixed income and they have always been reasonable. A customer since 2015 and a customer for life!
First time getting an oil change from AutoClinic. Staff was friendly and professional. Waiting area was clean and comfortable. The person servicing my car was knowledgeable and thorough.

Found these guys when looking for a place to do photo inspection after buying a used Forrester. They have a great attitude, competitive prices and great service. They keep me well informed about the status of the work, and I feel comfortable leaving my cars in their hands, they do great work on my 17, 07, and 02 vehicles.I also get the feeling that they arent over booking their garage, as in work is always prompt and Im never waiting and wondering when the work will be done.found my guys

After two separate visits for repairs, I have nothing but good things to say about Car Clinic. They were very honest and up front about what I needed done and thorough in explaining the work involved. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the bill on both occasions, and the problems were completely resolved with no need for a followup visit. I have complete faith in their workmanship and will be bringing my car back whenever service is needed.

Ive been going here for years and have never doubted that I received anything other than fair and reasonable pricing. All work is fully explained in advance. A while back, I brought my Buick in expecting a whopping bill and a massive headache. I cringed when they called, but I was ecstatic when they explained I had a very minor problem which they fixed free of charge. Many places would have sc***ed me over....Many thanks to Bill and Franklin!

Never had an issue here. Everything has always been fair and reasonable. These are honest folks and my car is in good hands with them. I Come here all the time with all of my families cars. First rate. Cannot recommend higher.
UPDATE....After the initial repair was made (change out of cooling system thermostat) the emission light came back on. The guys at Car Clinic were apologetic and diligently troubleshooted the problem until the source was finally eliminated. I was not charged anything even though they put in a lot of time into making a permanent repair. The car went to Boston and back this weekend and all is well. Suffice it to say that Craig and Alex are the real deal. My sincere thanks....you are setting a new standard for professional auto repair.************************************************************************************************I had an emission code issue on a 2006 TSX that I did not want to go to Acura to repair. I saw the Car Clinics ad in the Somers Record and called at 5:45 pm. Alex picked up and we had an engaging conversation for about 15 minutes. I am a cynic and tend not to trust anyone, especially auto repair types based on the experiences I have had in the past.I brought my car to them the next day and trusted that they would do the right thing. Guess what....they did. They diagnosed and repaired my car for less than Acura would have charged. They also had the decency to show me the part they replaced and photos of my car being diagnosed (without asking). I am very impressed with these guys after only one experience with them. Their shop is clean and well-equipped and conveniently located.It appears to me that Alex and Craig are knowledgeable and trustworthy and really care about their customers. Nothing fake about them. At this point, I highly recommend that you try them out if you have not as of yet.

Went to Auto Clinic because my power steering went out. Mechanics told me I need a new pump. So they put in a new pump but couldnt hook it up to the hose without it leaking. They wanted another $700 on top of the $360 that I already paid for pump. So I left with a worse problem (leaking power steering fluid) than when I got there. Plus Im out 360 bucks..
Went in to get a hub bearing job done to front left wheel of my 2006 infiniti G35x. Best service ever at a repair shop, fair pricing and the technician Franklin was very knowledgable. Best shop and will be doing more business with them in the future.

Came for last minute state inspection, they were able to accommodate for same day appointment while other shops wanted a week wait for an appointment with car drop off. The inspection done professionally during the appointment within 30 minutes (no emissions test-electric car)Well run business should be able accommodate small and large services accordingly. Highly recommended

2022-04-21These guys are great. Disciplined, fast, they’re not spending 2 hours changing your oil and rotating your tires while they chat they work quickly and efficiently. They also aren’t out to gouge you, they flat out refused to work on a maintenance issue that I asked them to because they saw the parts did not changing. Cannot recommend them enough.

2021-10-082007 Hyundai Tucson That was lacking in power turned out to be an exhaust leak. I am so impressed with the honesty and knowledge of Bill and Franklin they gave me two options to fix it and now the car runs great. I also brought in a 2011 Subaru legacy that needed a valve body replacement and a muffler repair and the car is running great and not just any mechanic can work on a Subaru the price was much much less than the dealership who wanted 8hours of labor when all it takes is less than 4hours.Honesty and good mechanics are very hard to find and I am glad I found them. If you have car issues I highly recommend Auto clinic. Every place I have ever been to needs to get lessons from these guys. From mannerism to honesty to fixing a car.

2021-04-09I had a sensor in the transmission replaced brought my CRV Honda on a Thursday and the part came in The same day and Friday I took it in to do the work it needed in and out in an hour I even walked to the Post Office to run some errands. Very convenient place to get car fixed and reasonable priced. I definitely recommend the Auto Clinic and very friendly. And if you don’t want to wait inside there are benches outside it’s worth the wait. Thank you Bill, Raymond and Mike for being there and for all you do to keep everyone life safe 👍👍👏👏

2021-07-23I made an appointment for an oil change and inspection for 2:00 and when I arrived at 2:00 they took the car right in and began the oil change. I was out and done by around 2:40 which is incredible. Ive never seen a shop so punctual that also diligently works on the car. I will never go anywhere else again 👍
