The employee who was supposed to help me would not answer any of my questions. He was really hostile. I asked him what the difference between a scissor jack and hydraulic jack he wouldnt even answer that one. He just said I cant tell you what to get, get whatever you want.It was a really frustrating experience and despite the stores convenient location for me I will never go back.
My cars battery went dead twice in a few days. Went into the store and wanted to get a reading on the batterys capacity. The store manager(? didnt get her name, but she mentioned shes from Ivory Coast) was very quick to respond and came out to help me.I chose to replace the battery and the mechanic (Kenny, I believe) who did it quickly was also very helpful and explained all the details.I cannot express enough thanks to both the store manager and the mechanic who were professional, courteous, fast, and friendly. They need to be recognized for their excellent service and for being great people.
Let me say that I have been a AutoZone customer for years at different locations... Always great service !!! But this location and its staff have issues !!! First off the parking lot looks like youve entered a Third World County, with all the vagrants and the little Shantytowns there allowing them to habitate their. The Manager.. Mike, displayed the worse customer service Ive ever seen and had the displeasure of dealing with. Then the staff of Moe, Larry and Curly arent much better !!! If I could give a neg. 1, rating itd be right on point !!! RETRAINING, RESTAFFING and lock your Car door before you go in this sorry location !!!
THIS AUTOZONE DOES NOT CLOSE AT THE TIME THEY HAVE POSTED!!!!Summary: This AutoZone needs to find a way to inform their customers that they close earlier than the time posted on their doors, the website and the time that I was told over the phone. What happened: I come to this auto zone all the time. During the day, it is a really pleasant place to shop. Very helpful associates. This specific Sunday night, my perspective of this branch changed. I called around 7PM to ask what time they closed. I was told “9PM”. I needed a part for my disabled Nissan 350Z. I finally got someone to rent me their vehicle for $50 to get to the AutoZone in time. I got there at 8:55PM to find the doors were locked. I was immediately waved off by the security guard and was then ignored. At 8:57, i decided to call because I seen the attendant behind the counter. He answered. I told him I was at the door and he said we’re closed, I asked what time they closed, and he literally said 9PM. I said but it’s 8:57pm and he said he already closed the register. At this point, the security guard came to the door, to get rid of me. He said, “we’re closed”. “I said but it’s not even 9PM yet. What time do you guy’s actually close.” He began to repeatedly yell over me, “We’re closed. We’re closed. We’re closed...” I began to raise my voice hoping that he would finally hear a word I was saying. I told him to “calm down and that I’m not mad at you guys”. He then calmed down to listen. So I then took the opportunity, shortened my question, and asked “what time you guys actually close?”. He pointed me to the sign on the door that says 9PM and said “I’m not gonna keep doing this with you”. He then closed and locked the door on me and walked away ignoring my question. This interaction ended with me outside confused at 8:59PM wondering why they kept saying they close at 9PM but the doors were locked. My main problem is this. It’s not fair that you can be told over the phone, or on the AutoZone website, or even on the location’s door, that this AutoZone closes at 9PM. And then you get there beforehand and the doors are locked. There are people that walk really far, or rent cars like I did because my car broke down, all in order to get there before closing time. If you lock the doors 10 minutes early to close out the register, the closing time is not 9PM. It is 8:50PM! Please find a way to inform your customers that the store closes earlier than the posted close time . I will be copying this and sending it to corporate. I hope they make the necessary changes in order to be more transparent with customers.
Im a regular customer to this shop never had any issue before but today when I went to get antifreeze for my car I asked the guy for blue antifreeze he gave me one ( btw he was very nice and helpful) and when I went outside and opened it it was yellow in color and went back to tell them and 2 people were very cooperative and I explained to them I dont want to get another antifreeze color as I always use blue color when I was talking to them somebody came in rude way said whats the issue ( I think he was the manager ) when I told him he said you opened it and now you wants to return it I told him the story again as I was told its blue by the employee there and its not my fault then he said lets finish this I dont want to talk more , in a rude attitude please to take care of this issue and will not go to this place again as I dont like to be treated like that again btw all other employees were professional just that guy
Worst customer service ever received, never answer my questions multiple time I visited, wont even see if anyone else is able to help. Will point you in the aisle it may be but never actually assist on what you need. Almost seems like some of them arent knowledge on cars.
Visiting this store since 2011,no issues with workers or people outside;until yesterday 12-30-20;asked a worker for a part,by the way never seemed him before.hes answers were all rude disrespectful and unwilling to help blatantly,I tried to reason with him as to why that attitude, and it just escalated it even worse;I told him mr you shouldnt be working with customers,mr your in the wrong place,he just continued to justify his bad behavior;and he did that twice,on both ocassions, because I needed two different items.spoke next day with manager, named terie and let him know that I didnt appreciate such treatment at his store or any store;his responses seemed apologetic!Im chaplain!
I was around the corner when my car had to be jumped, so I decided to go in for a quick battery check. Took a while to get any help with a battery check. Finally got help after about 15 minutes in an empty store (customers on the phone are helped first)then he checked that battery asked why I was there and told me to go to the dealership. Said battery was fine. Battery was dead.
The manager, Michael G. had me standing there for over 15 mins waiting to return a item. He was on the phone and even took care of customers at the register while I stood there like I was a ghost. Then when I pointed it out to him, he rudely told me he was taking care of another customer on the phone and I had to wait. I cannot wait to call corporate offices monday and lodge a full complaint on his poor customer service and rude attitude.
Just a regular Autozone, but the staff here are stellar. Kenny helped me out tremendously when I had to replace a battery. simple task but he flagged me down to inform me the battery i just returned was actually still under warranty. I understand that he didnt have to do that. great customer service!
Guy I spoke to over the phone set aside a battery for me for a warranty got there and Kwame or Kwaisme(?) found the situation to be a joke, laughed, and eventually told me that they didnt have my part. After raising my voice to the guy and calling his ability to perform the job into question and informing him I called, which a few other customers found funny, I got the part that had been set aside for me. Dont waste your time even on a warranty or much else with this particular store unless its because of my skin color this happened which based on the crowd wouldnt surprise me.
Lack of costumer service especially by the Register. It takes them hours to finish off with costumers at the register. Not only this location but the Morgan ave Location as well. I have seen costumers leaving numerous times because of that. Would you wanna be treated like this? Very nerve wrecking .
About 5yrs ago I went to this auto zone and have my battery check, it was bad and they change it, my battery keeps dying again so I came back to get it check to see if I need a new battery the associate is telling me he can’t give me a battery check because of where my battery is the tester can’t reach it, well they just loose a customer with more than one vehicle, in a slow time as this your business turn down a request where you could sold a battery, I got it check somewhere else and bought my battery there, much better service at this store
Ok so I went to about two other auto zone but this one takes the cake. Elijah or Elizer was a amazing help today. Did engine light check and printed out the info for me helped me with some good options and parts for repairs. This is my new spot now. Thank you for the awesome service!!!!
On 8/2/17, I called to ask questions about testing a battery and if someone was there to install a battery. Mrs. Manager was awesome and also gave me the exact cross streets. Joe tested my battery and alternator and installed the purchased battery for me. Such professional and pleasant crew. Thanks guys, Im back in business with your help....
Horrible customer services sold us what she wanted and didnt even listen to the customer! She was to busy talking to her clients! They didnt want to help anyone not even to check out! My father offered to buy the more expensive battery she didnt even listen so on purpose my father went with the cheaper one so we could leave and we needed it due to an emergency! Horrible one star is not even deserved!
Angelia she sucks. Manager supervisor she should be fired it took everything in me not to snatch that blonde wig off her head her attitude rolling her eyes lets not talk about the the one with the long nappy funky looking dreads you know what God said just walk away. Bless them both
I brought a battery from Auto Zone a few years ago with a warranty that expired some time in December 2017. The battery gave out 2 weeks before the warranty expired. I was able to get a free battery.I felt fantastic and was delighted since it was part of the warranty arrangment. Two Months later my car wouldnt start, so I took it to Firezone (car repair shop) and found out it was a faulty battery. I called Auto zone (Saturday) and they said my warranty expired, there is nothing they can do, I have to speak to the store manager who isnt in til Monday. I called back and asked to speak to the person in charge. I told them It was their faulty battery they gave me to replace the other I had brought from them years ago.I can not wait til Monday cause my car is in the shop presently. The lady I spoke too who was in charge at the time stated the best they can do is probate it, and give me $59 towards a new battery. I wasnt happy and spent $175 at Firezone for a battery with a 5 year warranty and less shady business.Really Auto zone? Ive spent lots of money with this company for over 20 years mostly at the same location and they couldnt do better in just replacing my battery since it was their fault. A manager should always be on site to handle issues or at least be able to contact.
Good services. customer support was reasonable. They also have few self employed mechanics out in the parking lot that u can trust at your own risks. The store was out of stock on Y tubes and the self employed guy recommend get a T tube. In all drove off with a tab of 20 bucks. No problems since...
Changed my review from 5 stars to 1 had a return this morning, store opened 15 minutes late, Manager was this fugly, fat nasty 12 sandwich eatin cow with a seriously nasty attitude, with all do respect Rasputia Latimore, what you lack in appearance you do not make up with personality, dont know how you became a manager but this speaks volumes on the hiring practices of Auto Zone, Pep Boys has far more respect for there PAYING customers in my opinion 3-13-16, this Managers nasty attitude, lack of general customer service skills, inability to articulate a proper sentence and present herself as generally rude is concerning to this customer that will go to Pep boys next time
I came here to have my battery checked all they did was put it on the charger and leave the store I had to go to the back myself to get the battery and still dont know if it any good like do I need a new one or what this whole staff is lazy and just stay on phone need a whole new staff here taking my business somewhere else
Ordered my stuff online the night before, went to pick up order only 2 counter people and over 12 people waiting. The guy at register wouldnt look up my order (he wasnt with a customer) even though all he had to do was give it to me because it was already paid for and was sitting there ready on the shelf.
If i could give this location 0 stars i would. I dont know who the manager is but they need to work with their staff on how to provide better services. The first thing that annoyed me was when i entered the location although there was no one at any register it took the guy and the girl a long time to even respond to me since they were so deep in conversation. The guy who appeared to be moving around and doing some sort of work was the only person who could assist me because the young lady was too busy sitting there to help. I needed wiper blades. He told me what i needed to get for front and back. It took me a while to locate them and when i returned the young lady who cashed me out u asked if they were the right ones could not verify because she didnt know. She asked the guy who didnt really check just said yes and i was cashed out. Turns out they were the wrong wiper blades for both back and front. I had to go to 2 more locations before i could get the right fit. Never again.
Employees are rude, they give bad information and avoid customers even when the store is empty. six individual walking around with back support belts pretending to be so busy doing nothing but talking amongst each other . Ridiculous all I wanted is a car battery, which their computer claimed was in stock but the store shelf was bare.
I called to make sure the battery i was looking for was available i gave them the number over the phone they said that they had it in stock drove over there i gave them the number they gave me a battery that was not the same number and ask me if i think it would fit...i told them i called ahead to make sure they had it they had no idea what i was talking about what a waste of time not very helpful will diffinetly not be back
Went there for a light bulb and saw the staff treat customers with a lot of respect. One staff member even took an older womans items out to her car just to ease her from the hassle of lifting the items, while the agent dealing with my friend and I came out to the car and installed the bulbs we bought. The service felt very welcoming.

2022-07-03The most nastiest and very unprofessional commercial manager i ever encountered he should get fired asap . He needs staff/hospitality training asap does not know how to deal with real costumers with commercial accounts. His entire energy and personality gives off a very bad negative energy and has unlicensed mechanics working outside in the parking lot taking up costumers parking spots even the handicapped parking and i seen him take money from these fake mechanics he lets them work on cars right in the parking lot and he sees a percentage of what they make its very illegal and this needs to stop and its not just this particular AutoZone its all of the autozones this needs to stop. Fire him asap his so called name that he gave me was Michael smh

2022-06-13Came here on my way to running errands. Needed windshield fluid. Cashier was a young man who was kind & Alert. When I asked him if the windshield fluid I brought to the counter (Orange jug) was the lowest priced one. He said no the Blue jug is cheaper & will serve my needs. So I put the the Orange jug back & picked up a Green jug. Now Im not color blind I just wasnt paying attention for some reason...🤔. When I put the Green jug on the counter... (here is where the Alert part comes in) he immediately noticed it was the wrong one he recommended. I said Oops youre right said daaa privately to my self & got the BLUE jug. 4⭐ for nice guy & need to go back a couple of more times.

2022-06-28The manager on staff, the older Black man, is extremely rude and unprofessional. I came to return a toolset a purchased 2 days ago because it was not the correct tool to take off my brand new car’s license plate, and he refused to accept the return claiming it was “used” and I needed to return it to the original store I purchase it at. This store is 45 mins away from my home. I will be complaining to corporate because this is beyond unacceptable.

2022-01-24Had a really good experience at this store last Thursday evening. My car didnt start twice in the same week, so I was glad to see this store was open late enough for me to stop by and check whether the battery was the problem after work. I got offered help as soon as I walked in and they offered to check my battery right away. They then quoted me a price and told me my options without pressuring me or trying to make a sale. I ended up purchasing the new battery and the associate helping me with the installation was quick and extremely professional. I did not catch his name, but just wanted to share this great customer service experience!

2022-04-04I’ll start with them not being open despite it being almost 9 oclock. The website and posted sign in the window says open at 7:30. But cool. Even prior to this I check the website for availability of a product. Website says in stock. Because Ive worked retail before I know the quantity shown online may not always reflect what’s actually available so I call to make sure it is in stock. I call, the phone rings, someone picks up and asks me to hold before I even ask my question. They don’t actually put the phone on hold so I can hear everything in the background. Music is playing and someone is rapping along. Great song, Baby Keem is a great rapper. That’s probably the only positive thing I’ll say in this review. Someone then comes back to the phone and hangs it up without saying anything. Naturally, I called right back and this time I was able to ask someone if they had the part I was looking for. I’m told to hold again by the same voice. The person goes away without putting the phone on hold again, and returns in a few moments confirming that they do have it. Great. I make the 20 minute trip and end up waiting until about 9:15 for them the open, the parking lot is empty, the store is empty, I’m waiting at the register for someone to come help me for a couple minutes. A young boy finally walks out, head hurried in his phone, I tell him I’m the one that just called about the bushing, he says “yeah let me check”. I thought he already checked when I called but I guess not. He pulls it up on the computer then goes to look. After a minute or two he returns only to tell me they do not have it. I ask then why would you tell me that you had it on the phone. He says he didn’t speak to me. Then another man comes out the back, I’m assuming the manager. He says the obvious. The website doesn’t accurately reflect what’s in stock. I say that’s exactly why I called to confirm and I was told yes. Long story a little less long, this manager gentleman tells me, no one hung up on me, I didn’t speak to neither the young boy nor himself. I ask them to check the nearest autozone that would have it. They check the computer and call to confirm. I call them immediately after to confirm myself and the person retrieved it and had it waiting by the register for me. All this for a tiny piece of rubber that cost $7 and took me 2 mins to install. AVOID ATLANTIC AVE AUTOZONE.

2022-04-18The service is a bit slow here, but most of the time they have parts and items you need for your car in case of emergencies.
