Was given a recommendation from a past store manager to buy my battery there. The service tech was so nice in greeting, finding the rigjt part and even installed battery. Awesome!!!

The staff at the Olean NY store is great! If what you need isnt in stock, they can get it there the next day. I see them outside the store helping people all the time.
BEWARE! They dont honor warranties, Even with Receipts! We purchased their best line of brakes, AutoZone needs the warranty to be handled by the mechanic who did the work. Sorry he is no longer in Business AutoZone says!!
Worker showed us what to do but didnt help much was kinda of lazy when it was dead
We had the battery die in our van, the guys checked to make sure it wasnt the alternator, and subsequently installed a new battery! Many thanks and great job!

I am a frequent customer of Auto zone until today. I arrived at the Olean location at 7:09pm. I grabbed one gallon of antifreeze and walked to the counter to cash out. I stood there until 7:20 while one employee ignored me. The other employee came in from helpinga customer outside walked past me without a word. So in ten minutes of standing there no one greeted me or said theyd be right with me so I walked out. I will shop at advance Auto or any other store besides Auto zone because of their ignorance.
This is a great place with people who love cars, love people, and love to have fun. They always go above just selling auto parts, but helping the customers install the parts when needed.
These talented young men replaced a headlamp bulb for me yesterday evening. When I expressed my heartfelt thanks, the response was thats what were here for!

I went in to have my car battery checked and found out it needed to be replaced. Less than 20 minutes later the new one was installed. I paid for the battery but there was no charge for the installation. Thats their policy!!

If I need parts this is my go-to place. Very helpful will even change your battery or windshield wipers at no extra installation cost.

Its an AutoZone. This particular store (Olean) does have some employees that have a good mechanical aptitude therefore reducing wrong parts. AutoZone is increasingly carrying better brand parts. Their in house brand Duralast seems to have increased in quality over the years but I do recommend going with better name brand parts when it comes to critical things such as wheel bearings, ball joints, etc. I used to shop Napa only. Over the years, Napa parts have reduced in quality to the point to where I have to compare them to AutoZone parts before I spend the extra money.

2022-04-22My husband called for a brake caliper. Front driver side. He gets down there, picks it up, comes home to find out its the rear. Puts everything back together and goes back to get the correct one. And go figure. They don’t have it. Blaming someone else again saying someone did inventory wrong. They always tell you they have it. Give you the wrong part , then have to order the correct. I don’t know why we keep going back. Lesson learned.

2021-12-05I called about oil on sale and the guy said they have a bunch on stock. I drove down ten minutes later and not one item is left. The employees that work there are lazy and most know little to nothing about vehicles. Come on AutoZone employee go the extra step and verify that the statement you told me is true. You are wasting my time. AutoZone is not what it used to be.

2020-10-01AutoZone always has my parts in stock and theyre one of the few places that will order the part for you without a prepay so you do not have to make two trips, if the parts are not in stock. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
