If I could give this place and its staffs zero rating I will. Went for a battery testing ,probably a new battery buyer , 3 people behind the counter were dealing with one customer with his credit card issue. Feel like they dont respect a customers concern or time. I was made to wait for 15 plus mins where no other customers where around and these 3 staffs were soo keen on resolving one person where one couldve easily helped the ones in need of help.
I visited this store by luck. I shopped for wiper blades at another location and the blades they gave me were not a good fit for my car, they were very flimsy and when I turned on my wipers they flopped around and slammed against my windshield. As I was on my way to my destination, I noticed this store so I decided to stop in and see if someone could help rectify the problem. The store was very well kept and things were organized. There was a long line of people but despite there being only 2 associates, the line moved at a smooth pace. There was a young lady, Mercedes, who took very good care of me. Even though it was raining (and her hair looked great) she still came out to my car to take a look at the blades. After everything was all said and done, she took off the ones I had, made the exchange and installed the new ones. Excellent customer service. I would definitely visit this location again.
Claiming for a cleaning fluid that I had been billed without buying it on my last visit. Sean and Bibi never looked for the solution and they did look for the problem. Technically it is a robbery when first, they invoice you for something that you never bought and second as a regular customer and having paid with a card they could look for the receipt ... Conclusion: it is a shame
Customer service here is always the best! On my latest visit, I was lucky enough to be helped by one of the managers, Natasha. Shes super friendly and knowledgeable on what they sell. Every time I visit, the staff is more than willing to help answer my questions. The cashiers do a good job at keeping the line moving, so the wait time is minimal. They are more than willing to do all the freebies Auto Zone has to offer.. From battery testing to code reading and I even see them helping swap out wipers for customers as a courtesy. Parking is always available and the location is very convenient, right on Hillside Avenue. Its not my local Auto Zone, but the customer service here is great enough for me to drive the extra mile!
Their computer system is horrible and while for the most part the workers are helpful, some arent very knowledgeable /arent good at using the computer system they have. Word to the wise, take a picture of your receipts that you get from here if you do buy from here. It will save you time and money in the long run.
I needed a new battery so I went to buy one. The plan was to take it over to my mechanic to have it installed but after buying it and coming back out to my car the car wouldnt start. When the employees here noticed what was going on with me one of them came out and installed my battery without me even asking while the other took care of the customers inside. Needless to say I was beyond grateful. Thank You. Talk about team work.
If you’re not sure what to buy, don’t waste your time to search by yourself in the store. Just walk to the sales representative and give them yours automobile information and they will find the solution right away from their computer. Customer service is informative and helpful. One thing like to complain is that, when a part is out of stock, the solution heard is to go to other business stores or car dealers. How come you don’t have back order service? Another is that the bathroom for customer is disgusting.
I have had bad experiences with some employees being rude but that was a few years ago. Last time I went was great. There is one employee, I dont remember his name but he was really kind and informative. If you happen to meet him you will know. They have great sales most of the time on oil change combo kits (oil & filter). Nice place with a good size parking lot.
Staff couldn’t be less helpful. I guess I am bothering them purchasing items from them. At least that’s how they act. Purchased 11 quarts of oil, 2 oil filters, and a filter wrench. Guy mumbling when I got to counter, but I know the drill. He scans everything all angry or depressed, I insert my credit card, sign, etc... then he asks me if I want a bag. REALLY? Do you supply sherpas to help me take it to my car? No?, YES I NEED BAGS. How does management not send a relative in store to make a purchase and report back to them. Probably cause the owner is a lazy sack also, or a gigantic corporation that cares even less than their employees.
Overwhelmed by the attentivenes, resourcefulness of the attendant i encountered. He went above and beyond in order to satisfy my request even though it was closing timea. He went to the back of the store inorder to find for me the coolant for my car. I highly recommend this very store being eminently edified by their courteous , affable treatment and resourceful disposition.
The place is big, so they have a lot of stock. The person that I talked to was rude tho(I think hes the manager?). Also, I asked him some questions and he would answer in as little as one word. He wasnt very helpful, so I just left the place. Even though that manager soured my experience, this place has lots of parts. So if you already know what youre buying and dont have to ask for additional questions, this place would be great for ye.
Ripoff! I was in a hurry to replace wipers on my Tundra for the first time and the parts totaled $75. I felt embarrassed to ask why so high but was saved as they could not install them after 50 minutes so I took my money back. Drove down the street to Clearview auto parts and brought perfectly easy installments for $14.
Thank you for reaching out to me Auto Zone!I want to first distinguish, that although I visited your location, it was not to patronize your business, but to use your restroom, hence the initial 3 star rating, showing it was just OkayI will say, that I was pleased by how orderly the store was, not to mention my appreciation for allowing me to use your rest room, when so many others in the vicinity prohibit such requests.I initially wanted to rate you at 4 stars, but wanted to be fair/ truthful in my review, why I opted for 3 stars {Being that I only used your restroom}...Youre response not only showed me, that without the back story, people wouldnt understand why I felt the 3 stars was warranted, but also showed me that just like I saw in the store that day, this location is about their customers, & I look forward to actually patronizing your service(s) if needed one day.
Lazy folks, not willing to help instead ,selling their own promotions.I personally would recommend going to 16020 Union Tpke, Queens, NY 11366 ,this location, and ASK FOR BIBI , SHE IS BEYOND AWESOME AND DONT JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT , USE UR OWN EXPERIENCE BY VISITING. SHE IS HELPFUL.
Found what I was looking for but when I got to the cash register the guy told me that I couldnt add to my rewards because it was like a $4 purchase I go to AutoZone all the time in Long Island and this is the first that Im hearing that youre not able to use your rewards card to get points unless you spend $20 to get a point
I made a purchase online for pickup in store. I received an email stating that the item I purchased was ready for pickup. When I took the time to go to the store to pick up the item, the item was no longer available for pickup. My credit card was already charged, but the item was not there.

2022-02-21They told me on the phone to come for battery exchange - claimed they could swap the battery. came for the battery as discussed. they wouldn’t swap it- staff poorly trained/educated, unable to change battery. they advertise that they check batteries and exchange them. but they do not. inconvenience when you need to jumpstart the car again with the dead battery to go somewhere more capable

2022-04-09I ordered Wipers online and went to this store to return. Since it was on my online order I was not able to return it they were having some system error for online orders returns. Store manager Kevin, he called online to get some transaction number to process my return, he really helped me and returned my wipers. Good service by Kevin, store manager

2022-01-25Friendly staff assisted me with getting a car diagnostics test. They provided me the gadget a d instructed me what to do and I did, returned it and they plugged the gadget into their computer and was able to read the diagnostic test. They printed out the report within minutes detailing results. Now I know what work my car needs. This place has a ton of goodies for your automobile, parts to accessories, seat covers, cleaners, air fresheners, brakes, window washer fluid, etc. Free parking in lot.

2021-08-23Came in today to get a brand new battery. They installed it no problem. Quick and efficient. Johnathon installed it and he was very knowledgeable and professional. Give this guy a raise! Drove all the way from forest hills to get it done here. Best autozone in Queens!
