This store is the ABSOLUTE WORST! They charged my credit card over $500 three times. Yet I never received any items and they are NOT helpful in releasing the charges against my card!I spoke to LEE he was identified as the Manager, completely useless. I highly recommend NEVER GOING TO THIS STORE🤬I would like to put - any stars however the system doesn’t allow you to put zero stars
This is the cleanest Autozone I have ever been in. (Ive been in very many) Even the bathrooms are absolutely spotless!!! I also noticed this particular location has much more knowledgeable staff than most. Employees seem older, have mechanic experience & work on their own vehicles, have their own shop or belong to a shop. No huge lines or wait time like some other stores & an overall general pleasant shopping experience with an inventory selection that rivals any other competitors auto parts store. Very happily satisfied as a customer!!!
I went to AutoZone today because I believe that I needed a battery. I wanted to check first to see if it was the battery or the alternator. I spoke to the gentlemen behind the counter his name was Derek. He came outside with his meter and he checked my battery and alternator and it turned out it was the battery. I Explained to him that I don’t have anybody to help me put in a battery would he be able to help me.. He said no problem and went back in and got the battery and installed it for me, I offered him money when he finished he would not take it. He was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help me.There should be more people in the world like this Gentlemen Derek.Also the guys in the store also extremely nice. The store was so clean I don’t usually see other stores like that. They were all very professional Thank you guys @AutoZone!
Staff in this store just amazing, especially Derek the manager was so knowledgeable and patient to help me, even though he was on his lunch break, threw himself out to help me located wheres the noise came from and found out my flex pipe was broken. I offered him tips and he just refused that, he just said Autozone always put customer first and he just did his job, if I need help Im always welcome to stop by. I had to say its really hard to find a human being had a kind heart like Derek these days.
Pretty descent customer service, depends on who you get to help you out. Of course they always have what youre looking for and also the stuff you had no intentions on buying when going to look for a specific item! You know, those cool mounts or extra usb charger that lights up and new car scents etc... lol... BUT the reason Im giving 5 stars is because of a worker that I ALWAYS look for when entering and have any questions about any issues and my man has them, his name is TOM! Great guy and goes out of his way to make sure you understand the issue or fix as well as showing you exactly what and how to do it. GREAT EMPLOYEE! Not just tryna make sales, extreme amount of car knowledge and willing to share it. So thats why THIS specific autozone I would recommend above all. GO AND ASK FOR TOM !!
The customer service is horrible. I ordered an air filter here it took 4 weeks to get it, initially they told me next day. When i inquired about it they were having a attitude with me, when i requested a refund they told me i have to wait until the part gets there and then they will be able to refund my money. I had to call corporate office and a area manager called me to get the filter. I wont be going there anymore.
Walked in on a Sunday morning and the two employees didnt say good morning or hello, or ask if I needed anything. While I walked around obviously looking for something, they continued with their very engrossing story about traffic on Hylan Blvd and their breakfast. I could have asked for help, but it was apparent that they didnt care if I found what I needed or not. This is why I shop online. Oh, and the selection sucked.
Walked in at 845 to 3 workers and a cat grouped around 1 register Clearly counting out the drawer at 845. Within 5 minutes grabbed 2 items and approached the register. At which point I was told they could not take me. Then changed their mind and said unless I was paying with a card. Employee rung up my items and swiped the gift card. When I saw the remaining balance I decided I did not need one of the 2 items. At which point he told me very rudely he couldn’t go back and there was nothing he could do about it. As we walked out with both items purchased he said go lock the door to his co worker. Door was locked by 855 one hour before the hours state.
Unfortunately I dont know the name of the associate who helped me ,but he was great, I needed a bolt for the alternator but didnt know the size, he pulled one from stock and we were able to determine the size by matching it to the alternator he pulled ,GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
Bought then returned a can of AC Pro at 49.99 because it did not have the outside temperature setting that you set before you add the refrigerant. I went to Home Depot that not only had that same product with the guage but it was 39.99. Eleven dollars cheaper when you factor in the tax. I also didnt like the fact the these items were behind the counter and not in the store where the customer can read or peruse other brands. If their prices are so high it might be best to buy car items elsewhere. The clerks here were not that knowledgeable regarding cars anyways so you would do better at a Walmart or Home Depot.
This autozone has to be the worst store on staten island. Upon entering the store no one greeted me. In order to get attention I had to make my presence known to Chris who was having a conversation with ex employee. Chris should be immediately fired. He attempted to sell me a battery charger. Refused to test or charge my battery. But doesnt the sign on the window outside say you test & charge batteries for free. Thanks Chris I appreciate you & your lying ass. I will not buy anything from Autozone again.
Usually in these stores your offered help the minute you walk in not yesterday no one acknoledged me and I needed help..I wasnt mad until 2 very attractive females enterd and not only did they have 1 associate helping them they had 2 I wasnt going to submit a review until this happened
Customer service is terrible spoke to somebody over the phone got to the store had no recollection of me even calling once I got to the store none of the equipment that they told me over the phone didnt work at all. Somebody in charge of AutoZone she go to this location and go over there employees

2022-03-16Never buy a battery fromAutozoneI purchased a gold battery just over a year ago I got stuck in another state had to have my car towed and obviously needed a new battery,I go to return the old one and they want to give me another Battery , I explained I don’t need at this time and would prefer a credit . 2022-06-09Not bad only go for oil and superficial parts... Nothing crucial... But sales personnel where helpful... 6/9/22. Idk whats going on over there, but I was giving wrong parts twice. Of course after I was told my vehicle never came in this displacement in this vehicle...🙄 So I bought in the 8th digit in the vin. I was right. Now Im receiving incorrect parts... Oil, filters, solvents only! This is what I get for breaking my own rules.

Felt like the old days ..Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and they care! Will go there first for all my auto needs!

2021-02-10The person who assisted me was rude and spoke so low I couldnt hear what he was saying. I simply needed a battery for my car and wanted to know my options. When I asked him to compare the two he showed me, all I got was the difference in price and why I shouldnt buy gel batteries. After, he rushed me to make a purchase, didnt provide their offer to install and take the old battery, and when I asked, was told the wait would be over an hour. FYI there were 4 employees there and only 3 customers at the time.

2021-04-02I would like to share, today my wife stop in Autozone located at veterans rd due to an issue with the car keep shutting down , an associate Juan was so helpful that not only he diagnose the problem it went out of his way to install a battery and make sure that everything thing fine for her to drive back with kids. I would like to say that person like Juan is a great that the company have an I am delightful to share that me n my family will shop at Autozone because we can trust that we will get the help we need ,.Thank you for keeping my family safe

2021-03-22Have to say that the guys behind the counter at this store really did very well to defuse a stress filled situation for themselves on a transaction. All I needed to do was buy a set of wipers for my wife’s car and it took these poor guys 20 minutes to ring me up because the system they have needs to be updated. They had to reboot it to get it to work and it must be frustrating for them. I asked if this is something that happens often and reluctantly they honestly said yes but corporate ignores their complaints. Seriously?? C’mon auto zone.Major corporation and a twenty minute checkout.Laughable
