JUST BOUGHT A STARTER FOR 2014 HONDA ACCORD AND RETURNED IT THE NEXT IT WAS BAD AND THEY SOLD IT TO ME LIKE (NEW)😡DONT EVER NOTHING FROM THIS PLACE THERE A BUNCH OF SCAMMERS I PAID $300 up NO MORE AUTOZONE FOR ME I RATHER GET MY PIECES IN A LOCAL AUTO PARTS I JUST BOUGHT I ANOTHER PAID LESS THAN AUTO ZONE AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY FINE STAY AWAY FROM AUTOZONE WHEN IT COMES TO YOUR ENGINE.
I purchased a gel optima battery at a autozone 1-2 years ago & it just messed up on me. I tried going to three different Autozone’s to get a replacement with the warranty, but no one was able to really help. I went to this Autozone at 961 E 174th & they were kind enough to find a solution quickly!!!
This place has by far the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. 90 percent of the people that work there seem to not want to work there. Ive been there enough times to see that there are long lines and at peak hours one register open while three to four employees are there talking with each other instead of asking how may I help you or are you being helped. Then they give you attitude if you ask for help or ask if they can open a register. Also, they need to add signs saying which line is the line for questions or part or payment. This is another example of a place that hires people just to fill positions instead of getting people in their that really want to work and offer great customer service.
Line should be established for simple items. I waited 20 covid minutes to pay for 1 item while 2 loud mouth NON MASK wearing young men entered the store. One stood on line behind me and the other walked around defiantly throughout the store. The manager was intimidated and disappeared behind a wall twice... he never said a word. I will not go to that store again while that SOFT manager is there. Also, he only wore his mask over his mouth and not his nose while he looked away.
The women who are working at this auto zone located on the 174th Mall now were very unpleasant , they lack customer service and need training on how to speak to customers One, in particular was very rude and had a comment to say after I walked away. The unfortunate part of this only shows how these women represent the store. I will not be buying anything from this store again.
There seems to never be enough staff working here. Ordered parts online that said were in stock, only to get there and be told that they are not in stock, only to find out that they were never picked, only to find out that the did have the part in stock but only 1 of the 2. Smdh.
Your basic service at this branch. Its been a while since iv been to other Autozones but i would like a few things tended to here. Customer service is a little slow. Maybe they dont have enough people working or just work ethic.. People can easily leave and go somewhere else but.. there is N-where else to go. One thing thats great and not sure if its good to mention but there are always guys outside looking to make a buck. They know CARS.. could have been mechanics or not. but they are very helpful. Tip them if you can or hire them to do work for you. They honestly could be doing something else with their time.
Nasty employees, hate coming to this one, but its closer to my apt. They dont speak to you when you walk through the door. You ask them for help and they drag and act like they dont want to help. Everybody has a smart mouth. Total of 6 employees with 1 working and that 1 barely wants to do anything. I just need to find another Auto Zone. Throw the whole staff away.
There were four people working in this store and only one at the checkout It took more than 20 minutes to collect a single customer and we were like 10 people waiting and none of the others moved to do something I decided better to leave the store and not buy anything, But its that the second time Im going to do a shop and I have to leave things because the staff that is there do not work are lazy.
Young a** kids working in there that dont know nothing! Horrible customer service in there and if the product is one price when I get to the register they ring u up another price 😒..... the manager there is loud and ghetto and employees are not professional! Such a disappointment
Went to return a part. The store manager tells me they dont have enough money to return the part. The part was $200! I will definantly not be returning to this autozone. Negatives across all the boards. If you are returning anything dont go here, take the cross bronx to jerome ave autozone instead.
The AutoZone on 174 in the Bronx thats what are the worse is AutoZone I have a been to The service is real slow and the employees are real rude they dont know how to talk to a person The managers have to do something about that because if not someone can go in there and do something to one of the employees do you have to shape up and start learning how to talk to people and get more people to work with them because the service is real slow

2022-05-18I went in to buy an item for my car, The website stated it was in stock, but couldnt find it.I asked an employee, who went out of his way to search for the very last one of the items I was searching for.The customer service he provided was well worth my trip to this location.

2022-03-14Lots of product but pricey. You can purchase many of their in-store items online.Staff arent customer oriented - quite quick commenting and reply to questions matter-of-fact (like if I already know the answers, I wouldnt be asking).

2022-03-31I’ve been trying to speak with someone since this previous Tuesday regarding this very rude and unprofessional young Latino lady who is a manager their was very unhelpful trying to figure out which part was the correct hose for my car, she was being impatient her infant daughter was present and crying. There seem to be no other staff present to help out neither just awful.

2022-05-28By far the worst customer service . If you need to go to an AutoZone . Do not waste your time there 174st . Go to gunhill. Go to 149. Go to east Tremont. And if you cant go to a small Mom and Pop shop who treat the customer with respect and have knowledge on their products
