Placed on line order paid with credit card went to restaurant they had no order really not happy why have on line ordering if you have to reorder at restaurant then sit there and wait very frustrating I like restaurant and not John or Paul’s fault still not a good thing now I need to dispute credit card charge a total bad scene

The wife and I are new to Brewster and we’re looking for a great pizza and pasta spot. And we found just that in Aversano’s. Their food is not only really good, their customer service is even better. They worked around a snow storm on our first order and always remained in contact with a back up plan to get us our food. They are also very courteous on the phone and delivery is on point. We will enjoy Aversano’s as our go to pizza and pasta spot!
Sat at 615..didnt get served until 730...veal was tough..dont understand always a good meal...it was like waitress forgot to put order in especially when you see people eating that got there after you.sad never had a problem there before..was falling asleep waiting for food
Had a lovely time with my family taking my dad out for his birthday. The pre fixed party menu was an excellent choice and everyone enjoyed the food and the evening. Thanks Aversanos!
I have never had anything but a wonderful experience at Aversano’s. I love their capellini with cream sauce, the fettuccine alfredo and the lobster ravioli (I’m a vegetarian, so can’t speak to meat dishes). The eggplant rollatini is to die for and I don’t even like eggplant. The ambience is warm and inviting and the waitstaff are excellent - very friendly, professional and accommodating. The servings are huge so you get a lot of bang for your buck. They also have an awesome long bar and great drinks when I just want to pop in for drinks and apps with my girlfriends after work. I LOVE this place - it’s my go to for GNO’s, family get togethers and date nights with my hubby - and you’ll love it too!!

I ordered three large pizzas here for take out. All three were made to perfection. The staff here was really helpful with recommending sides and drinks.
We ordered our food to go and ate it in the car while we had an 1 drive. Everything was AMAZING! We ordered 2 different pizzas and 2 Salmon salads and garlic bread. All 6 of us were raving about everything that was ordered. The portions were incredibly generous. They were happy to provide us with utensils and plates for the ride along with cups for our drinks we had in the car. They accommodated is with special dietary restrictions and the order was 100% correct! Definitely would recommend!
Truly some of the best pizza I have ever had. Hands down the best grandma slice and buffalo chicken is top 3 hands down. Staff is amazingpy friendly and with the Covid situation they might be one of the best at assuring yours and there safety. I ask though please wear a mask when your inside
The people are very nice. The red sauce is very bad. Did not like the pizza, which has a crust that does not taste like pizza crust. Pizza had sliced raw tomatoes on it. Really not good. Sorry, I wanted to like it, but I dont.
Hire a sober driver and turn your drunk into pepperoni or change your logo to his certificate of sobriety and castration.
Hands down one of my favorite places to eat. Every meal from Aversanos has been perfection. Wait times can be a little long nowadays due to only having takeout option, but it is well worth the wait.
A lovely Italian restaurant with a warm atmosphere great for bringing a date. The first time I came while here on vacation I was very impressed. Now three years later Im back in the area with a tour bus full of friends and John(one of the owners) welcomed us with warm hospitality. We called ahead and he made sure that we were met and seated and fed right away. Wonderful food and great service!
We used this restaurant for our rehearsal dinner on November 9th, 2019. We met with the two brothers who own the restaurant to set up the menu. They were extremely accommodating and flexible with the changes we asked for. The wait staff was very professional and attentive. We had a very relaxing, fun, and delicious time celebrating at Aversanos! Thank you for helping us create memories!
Everything was on point! From the olive oil you dip the bread in through the delicious desserts and cappucinos! I brought some friends to share this delicious experience with and although we live in the Hopewell area I am sure they will come back! (Reservations already made for Valentines) I boast about this place all the time and each time I bring people they are completely satisfied! The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. I am not a person that eats meatballs out but Nonnas meatballs are AMAZING! They actually remind me of my Grandparents meatballs. I crave them and cannot wait to come again. My husband once had the Veal Chop, so worth it!!! I thank my sister in law for suggesting this place years ago as our 1/2 way place to meet because I love it and will continue to send people there!
We came here to celebrate my husbands Aunts 100th Birthday. The food was very good and the portions were very generous! The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. One of the Co-Owners even personally came around to ask how everything was. I would definitely recommend! Very nice experience.
Great restaurant good food the best alla vodka sauce of all Italian restaurants around here I only complaint is the pizza the bottom is milk white no crispiest to it just no taste to cross Pizza itself is good

We ordered a plain pizza and a Veggie Delight pizza from Aversanos (take out). Tried to use the ChowNow on-line ordering system from their website, but it had a number of problems and so we ditched it and just called the order in ... that was MUCH easier. The plain pizza was good, although not outstanding. The veggie pizza was excellent. Their prices however, seem rather high. Not being from the area, they may be in line with other restaurants ... but next time well shop around first to see.
The best eggplant parm wedge that Ive ever had, and Ive had them from dozens of places. Will definitely be going back to sample their menu
Decent food, tho the owners have a lousy attitude. Keep in mind there are plenty of other places to go eat. So, treat your customers like customers & treat them with respect.
Aversanos is one of the best Italian restaurants north of the city. The food is consistently great with personal twists by the two brother/chefs. We loved them so much that we had them cater our wedding. I highly recommend them for a wonderful dinner or the best pizza around!

Today was my 1st order. It took 5 attempts to tell the person on the phone the correct entrees... Apparently they dont teach the staff the menu. It had to be spelled out multiple times including phonetically. My mother went to pick up the order, even after passing theyre estimated time, it was another 10+ minutes for pick up. The online menus prices are different, for us it was an extra 5 dollars and change (which isnt much...but bait and switch pricing is not a good thing) the items were not packed properly, 3 bags were drenched with various sauces (including the napkins and the seat of the car which will smell like balsamic for who knows how long). The sauce treated like its only flavorings were salt and basil. The calamari was done first,as it was soggy upon arrival. The veal was swimming in sauce as if it were pulled purl in bbq. The buffalo mozzarella list its balsamic, the tomatoes were cut huge, so it say on 2 halves of tomato. Didnt try the bread, didnt touch the pasta. Nobody liked the food. I have no idea who likes this place, but done believe the hype....absolute junk. Will not go back except to get my 5 dollars for switching the prices. Ive screen shoot the menu pricing and took a photo of my receipt...the layout is absolutely ridiculous, the wait staff has to safe through the people on line so they can warm up bread for the tables. The place is small and mismanaged. I have never been more disappointed in food in my life, and Ive been to a lot of places. Maybe they have good pizza, but after this I wont know.
I went for lunch in the dining room with family today. The food, service and atmosphere were all outstanding. We also had a private party a while back. Everyone had a great time and were very impressed with the entire event. They all thought that the food was terrific. I highly recommend Aversanos for any occasion.
If quality combined with value is a top priority for you, then look no further. Paul and John personally oversee everything in this quality laden restaurant. The food is excellent. Some Diners charge more for their menu, but here you will have a family run true Italian restaurant, with excellent pricing.Lunch is a particularly excellent value.Highly recommend.
Nice place. Italian, full bar, good pizza, but I usually order from the specials at lunch. Pasta Bolognese is a favorite, but I have enjoyed all the fine entrees Ive had here. I eat here 6-10 times a year. Friendly service.
Since the pandemic there food has declined, and there delivery service the last three times we used it was awful. Average wait time to get your food after you ordered is 2 hours, then you get ice cold food. Use to go into the restaurant before the pandemic but after this we wont be going back. Doesnt pay to call and ask where your order is all they say its on the way, and still waited over an hour after that phone call. Shame it has gone down hill fast.
Great pizza but the restaurant is amazing too! This place is a Brewster staple. If you havent eaten here, you are missing out!
This family owned restaurant is lovely and the staff along with owners is very hospitable. We will never stop coming and enjoying a beautiful time. Delicious! The atmosphere is charming and sophisticated. The head chef and owner comes out to see how everyone is and make sure the food is well received. He is tremendously talented, personable, and funny. The staff is professional and classic.
Over the past year my wife & I have had the pleasure of several takeout experiences as our schedule has not allowed us time to sit and enjoy the ambiance Aversanos offers. Every time we order for take out the food is ready when we pick up and the service is exceptional! Yes they are a busy place but never too busy to properly & politely procure your order.. This is the most consistent restaurant in the Hudson Valley in my opinion!

The first downside is it is a strip mall, which immediately takes away from the ambience, but once inside it does recover well. The service is attentive and friendly. There is a nice set menu and a slew of specials. The appetizer - a plate of various mozarrela cheeses with peppers, prosciutto, and balsamic reduction - was quite sizable and good. The pork chop was a little burnt and on the sweet side for my taste. The shrimp fra Diablo was good - nice and spicy, ample portion, bit again on the sweet side. There was a nice apple cider sangria that was quite refreshing. Overall, not bad, but just not quite to my taste.

Ordered lunch for a 90th birthday today. A couple people had food sensitivies, and were thrilled with the options they had. The whole lunch was a resounding success with everyone commenting on the food as they went back for seconds. Thank you Aversanos.
Our daughter had her Wedding Shower here this past Saturday. Everything was wonderful; the food, the service Everything!! I have to give a special thanks to the waiter and waitress that handled the event . They were extremely attentive to everyone.
Sicilian pizza is my fave and these guys make it right IMO. Whether it be the standard variety, the Grandmas, the eggplant, or any of their specialties, top notch dough/crust/sauce/cheese.
John Aversano did our wedding and it was awesome! The food was AMAZING and the only area he had to cook in was a cook-tent! People seriously raved about the food and the dessert bar. The salmon was excellent, the chicken was delicious, and the steak was perfectly cooked. Even the veggies were wonderful! The dessert bar was also so special. People LOOOVED the array of delicious treats. The cannolis, black & white cookies, rum balls, milk shots, all so awesome.
Waitress was clueless, didnt know the menu.. food took forever to arrive (1 hour).... Food was very underwhelming considering the wait (think microwaved food). One chef came out to greet the customers with a latex glove on with visible blood in it. I assume he cut himself and this is a regular activity behind the scenes but still.... we wont be returning.
I ordered the sacchetti and the cranberry chicken salad wrap. The sauce for the Sacchetti tasted like heavy cream and nothing else. Zero flavor. Chicken salad wrap was inedible as well, not supposed to taste sour. Gladly ate the canolies and cranberries.
The speciality pizzas at Aversanos will change your entire being. They are some of the best slices this world has to offer. Especially the buffalo chicken pizza, which puts all others to shame.
Food was fantastic, portion sizes generous, having tablecloths makes it more inviting and the staff were wonderful. Next time were in town we will definitely eat here again.
Food is very good. Probably the best Italian Ive found since I moved here 3 yrs ago. The portions are the smallest Ive ever seen. Larger portions would bring this to 4/5 stars.
Hit or miss! I havent been here since pre-COVID and the food was always good. Now, some of the food was great but some actually turned my stomach which was more than a huge disappointment.
I was a waiter here 17 years ago. The same amazing atmosphere and delicious food are still present to this day. Amazing place, amazing people. Absolute must visit !
Great selection and quality of pizza that quite honestly rivals Three Guys From the Bronx. The big difference between the two is Aversanos has beer/liqour options and a staff that actually makes you feel welcome.
Believe it or not my favorite pizza spot in upstate new york, they even have great gluten free pizza. You cant leave here without trying the grandmas pizza, crust is perfect!
Food was very good. We came here for a Christening and basically took over the place. We had kids running around and tables everywhere and the staff was friendly and most of all patient. I dont live near but I would come again if I did. Thanks!
Tried this for 1st time recently and never again.Pizza was greasy because of fake cheese.It dripped all over the place.I had a chicken roll and when I bit into it it,was a chunk of cold ricotta cheese.It was disgusting.One of the worst pizzas I have ever had.

Restaurant has usually excellent choices. Tonights spinach salad was outstanding and the eggplant rollatini is always great. Good bet for a good Italian dining experience in Brewster.
The calzones are really good. I cant speak to the rest of the food because Ive only ever gotten calzones. The seating area is a little small if youre eating in, but to go is great.

Okay, so here it is. Plain and simple. They have the fire pizza. Service is noice (theyre very friendly). Plus, you get such a bang for your buck. Whats not to love?

Got a Gift certificate from a friend for Aversanos so I took my 89 year old Mother and my Wife for Dinner. Waited more than a half hour to be seated, So we where seated in a room with a table set up alongside us for 24 people. The waiter came and took our order and I noticed you did not get a salad with your Entree? While we waited for our food about 20 minutes had passed by and the 24 person table had filled up with people. It was not long before we could not even hear ourselves talking with all the noise coming from this group of people! Another 20 minutes passed by and the party of 24 people are being served their food and we still do not have ours, and the Waiter has not been back to offer us any bread or a refill of our drinks!! And then after another 20 minutes, an HOUR in all we finally get served??? Talk about being annoyed!! And then the shrimp fra diablo was WAY to HOT! I told the Waiter and the Hostess that I will NEVER come back here again, and then when I got the bill, Im sitting at the table waiting with my Mother (My Wife had already walked out) for 10 minutes, I finally told my Mother: Lets go, and it was another 5 minutes before they finally got us out of there!! You would think that after I complained about this situation that they would try to smooth it over by offering us something? But they did not! So NO TIP was left! This place sucks!
Aversano has great food and if you want to most delicious pizza crust, this place is a must visit. Great owners, great food, and a very enjoyable atmosphere.

Great atmosphere in the restaurant, or you can go to the othersidr if you just want to grab a slice. A good happy hour as well, but only for liqour. The beer selection is OK, but its bottles only.

2022-02-23The strangest worst truffle pizza we have ever had. This truffle pizza has prosciutto, capers, and truffle oil on it. It was so bad we didnt know what to do. The total shock and horror of seeing these toppings on a truffle pizza. But wait theres more. The calamari was frozen tiny rubbery round pieces. You cant even call it calamari, maybe put on the menu round pieces of rubber instead. It was horrendous. Then you think okay well the buffalo mozzarella has got to be good, right? Wrong! It was old cooked prosciutto wrapped in a brick of mozzarella with some after thought old tomatoes on the side. Absolutely appalling. The sacchetti was their only saving grace and probably because it wasnt even made in house. I would never ever go back there for a dinner. Maybe a quick slice of plain pizza if I was starving. I can make a meal home a million times better. This place should be ashamed of themselves. Please google TRUFFLE PIZZA and take notes.

2022-06-23I had dinner at the restaurant and I also booked them for catering. The food was delicious! The drinks were superb. The service impeccable. It was great working with John Aversano on the catering. He was so helpful. And the price was also quite good for the catering. I felt like it was a really good quality for a reasonable price.

2022-02-11Great atmosphere. Family own business, great homestyle meals. The food is excellent from appetizers to the main course you couldnt find a better place with so many choices its so hard to choose. And the pizza, calzones, sandwiches, lets just say amazing. 2021-02-05If you go here and eat in you gotta try the wild mushroom ravioli. My absolute favorite. For take out the salad pizza with goat cheese and red pepper is awesome. Staff is nice and waiter was knowledgable about wine

2017-03-24The sauce tasted horrible, no flavor- must have been poured on right out of a can. The chicken was rancid, smelling like fish and slimy. It was tossed in the bag and leaked all over the bag, my car and the rest of the food. And they wont refund me unless I drive 30 minutes back there. Absolutely never coming here again.

2022-04-25Ive only gotten pizza to go, and I can only vouch for the plain and vegetable pizza which were both pretty good. Does that mean their other stuff is good? probably.

2017-09-25Excellent food and service! The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. We especially enjoyed the chicken parm. The food was fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it.
