Clean, but dated and dark. We were put in a small basement room. Lots of annoyances such as the ceiling light won’t stay on, can hear other doors open and shut throughout the night, shower handle was loose, and slightly impatient front desk. But, it’s close to LGA and the room didn’t stink.
The room was very small, but very clean. We had the king bed room. The staff from the front desk to housekeeping were all so nice and accommodating. Location is about 10 minutes away from Laguardia Airport. Its a quiet area at night, but during the daytime we could hear planes landing. As a person who is sensitive to loud sounds, it did not bother me.
Ingrid, Winston and the rest of the staff were very helpful and kind. They helped us so much. The room was very clean. We made so many friends while we were there. We will stay there again. Thanks for your hospitality. Your friends Stacey and Stephanie, we stayed in room 214 may 8th - 12th
First off, you cant beat the location of this hotel. Its basically across the street from LaGuardia Airport. They offer a free airport shuttle, too! The rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is amazingly friendly. This is my second stay, and both times the desk staff and shuttle drivers have been wonderful. Today, Mohammed made sure I had everything I needed after a LONG two days of travel delays. This will definitely be my go-to hotel for overnights with international flights out of LaGuardia.
Great customer service! Ok grab & go breakfast (croissant, ripe banana, Apple juice, healthy bar snack) coffee, and juice machine is also there (complimentary). I stayed in rm 113 close to the road side...noise wasnt an issue-there was hardly any. Guest were noisy. My shower didnt work, so I used the bottom tap. Bathroom, Room, sheets, towels were clean. Fridge, tv, office desk and chair is also in the room. Great Wi-Fi service, and cable. Popeyes and Dunkin Donuts is a stone throw away LGA airport is 7 minutes away. Free shuttle service to the Airport is available every half an hour. Starts at 4AM in the morning. Shuttle Service from the Airport starts at 5PM-1AM. Parking is available! (The lot is around the back). I would stay there again.
Positive: Proximity to the airport, which is why we chose it; free airport shuttle, which started running at 4 am; and grab and go breakfast bags for departures before regular breakfast hours. It met our basic needs. Negative: Street noise was so loud, it sounded as though the windows were open. Garbage from a prior guest in the nightstand drawer and a clearly opened/used shampoo bottle in the bathroom made us leery about the overall cleanliness of our room.
Positive: It¿s close to LaGuardia and was some less expensive than other hotels in the general location. Also the staff was very helpful. Negative: The sound travels through the walls very well so noisy neighbors and people coming and going in the lobby above us we¿re easily heard. The breakfast was a prepackaged bag so wasn¿t amazing. And the shuttle doesn¿t run in the afternoon.
Despite being so close to the airport, this hotel was extremely quiet and the room was dark at night. We were able to utilize the hotels airport shuttle and got to the airport with in 15 minutes. The water for the shower was really hot, and did not run out quickly. We called to see if we could drop off bags before exploring the city, and they allowed us to check in several hours earlier than expected. Bonus: Tres Sabores Taqueria is nearby. We stopped in and had the best El pastor tacos.
Nice hotel. Room was clean, and the folks very friendly. The front desk folks were very accommodating. It was close to public transportation, and the airport. The transport to and from the airport was included and worked out great and a Very friendly driver too. The price was right for a NYC hotel. Ill definitely come back.
I have stayed here multiple times for business and always find it clean, comfortable, and the staff really went out of the way to be accommodating. I also found the location to be convenient for both travel by car into Manhattan as well as nearby public transit. The area is a bit industrial, but there are a few decent meal options within walking distance.
Unsatisfactory experience.. couple of things i dont wanna say.. but they surely can do better..Also, very poor parking facility.. I understand spaces are tight in NY, but parking just needs to be controlled & monitored.. they should tell all guests to park properly...
I wish I could give a zero star to this hotel. They are scams. I booked with them but on wrong date, and I called to make corrections to the date, about 3hrs later, and was told they couldnt correct it and cant make changes. The 2 manners I spoke with were so rude and unprofessional. they were only interested in keeping the money. if you can avoid them.
The staff was very friendly, especially the morning front (female)worker. She helped guests in the cafeteria with coffee, very nice young lady. The free shuttle is a plus & let me not forget the the VERY clean room & relaxing shower. My husband & I highly recommend this motel for the reasons mentioned.
Positive: I didn¿t like anything about it Negative: It felt like I was confined the room is very small and out dated the wall is paper think the person next door meet keep coming and going in the night and keep slamming the door so hard like he wanted to break it, I would not recommend this place to anyone
Positive: It offered free shuttle service. Negative: You could hear the airplanes very loudly inside. The walls were very thin so you could hear everything. The room was small, dirty carpet, the bathroom had stray hairs in various places, the blanket seemed old, and the room overall seemed old.
Positive: The bed was comfortable and on sight parking. Negative: There was no curtain and the window shade allowed light in around the edges. This wouldn¿t have been a problem if the airplane noise didn¿t keep me from falling asleep. The coffee wasn¿t good and the coffee cake in the breakfast to go bag was n
This place could be better if the rooms were cleaned properly. My room was was definitely not cleaned properly and this is during Covid! There were brown drip marks all over the bathroom and I even found a piece of a sandwich under my bed. When I alerted the front desk I wasn’t even offered an upgrade. When I made my third party booking agent aware and they contacted management they attempted to act as if they had no idea about it...until I presented documentation that they were, in fact, made aware. The loud music across the hall from me and the weed smell was more acceptable than being called a liar. I would definitely never stay here again.
Nothing as advertised. Ok we understand things change over the time and stuffs don’t stay new forever. But customer service is something that should get better over time . Very unpleasant experience. Rude and ignorant representative. If you are getting paid to do it , do it for the shake of your job though you may not like the guests. For the price the facilities are ok , but the management can certainly review the service if it’s representatives.
Not a great place to stay for long. Just for one night if you have to stay in budget. The rooms are old and the paint inside the rooms is falling off.It was really really cold inside the rooms the heaters doesnt work properly. The walls are too thin you can listen to your neighbors. But, they offer a free shuttle which is great, the beds and bathrooms are clean.
Booked it because it said it provided shuttle service, booked at a lower rate so it ws non refundable. After I booked it gave the shuttle operation times, which was from 5a.m to 10:30a.m. even though check out isnt until 11a.m. Wanted to get a refund that time, they wouldnt honor it. When I checked in I ws told shuttle stops at 10a.m. Disappointed wasnt even the word. Was my fault, I shouldve done my research and listened to the previous reviews. Only good thing ws proximity to the Airport. The whole thing just looked sketchy, wont make that mistake again.
The hotel is ok if you’re looking for something in reasonable price. The best thing is they have their own hotel shuttle service, so they can drop you off to the subway or metro station whenever you want.We stayed there for 3 nights and they supposed to provide breakfast to us but not even a single breakfast was provided by them, instead they gave us a cinnamon bun which is not even fresh.
Nice, cozy, clean reliable. Overnight desk clerk is sharp, quick and knows his business. Has taken care of me many times. Parking available, and easy street parking. Late night chain restaurants are close by. Even with the airport close its really quiet and makes for a good nights sleep
The worst hotel i ever stayed in. All the plane are leaving every 5 minutes and we can hear them landing or raking off every 5 min threw the whole building !!!I mean this hotel shouldn’t be in business anymore.Worst experience I ever had with an Hotel and won’t be booking something near the airport for a long time
We greatly appreciated the airport shuttle when our LaGuardia flight was unexpectedly cancelled, and the driver was very accommodating. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the breakfast was Comfort Inn standard - waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, pastries, cereal, and the like. The biggest problem we experienced was noise - the aircraft flew immediately overhead until almost 1 am, shaking the bed each time, and the walls block little noise from adjoining rooms. We were still bleary eyed in the morning. So - great people, thin walls, and noisy location. But we truly appreciated a place to spend the night on such short notice!
This Comfort Inn is convenient to the LaGuardia airport and has an airport shuttle. It is budget friendly, very clean and comfortable room. The staff are very welcoming they make you feel special and go above and beyond to make sure everyone enjoy their stay.It is great to see such great hospitality being enforced at this establishment and the manager there is great she really is a people person and trained her staff well. Kudos to her will stay their again.
I booked this hotel due to its close distance to the LGA airport. A big plus of the hotel was the complementary shuttle to the airport. It operates from 4am to 12 in the morning and from 4pm in the afternoon.Unfortunately, the hotel was under construction at the time of our stay. Even if there were no renovations going on the best time of the hotel is over. The room and the general look of the hotel that I found had nothing to do with the picture and reviews online. Everything looks used and provisional. The hallways were crazy hot and the air in the room very dry. The rooms are badly soundproof. The bed, however, was comfortable. Last but not least, the area around the hotel felt unsafe. All in all, the price I paid for the stay was to high for the quality of stay. I personally would not stay there another night.
Friendly service. Only 12 parking spots in back and 2 were blocked with storage. You have to park on street if lot is full. The breakfast area is very small. Two families pack the room.Bathroom is so small you have to close the door just to use the sink. But the room was clean and comfortable given its small size.No closet; hangers and iron are there but you have to use the shower rod to hang out clothes.
As a local residence, room sizes of hotel in NYC... Pretty much small... Not like other states. I stayed here for two nights. Staff was very friendly and kind. Only one thing I would like to mention is breakfast... I mean staff was not friendly neither kind... If this service bit more improved... I will give more star...
3.5 rating. The good-- location, free parking, clean rooms with comfortable beds, good staff. Several restaurants deliver great food to your door. The bad--this hotel is in the glide path of Laguardia airport. One big jet every 90 seconds for 16 hours! I have noise canceling headphones that could not drown out the sound. I love the cleaning staff but these guys slam the door to every room they clean.
Found a bed bug on the blanket, had to switch rooms. Staff do not wear masks, nor social distance. Cheap, cheap breakfast, the cheapest cereals, breads for toast, waffle mix. Only one fruit choice. Old randown hotel. Bad neighborhood. Probably lacking in extra sterilization process. WILL NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN.
Overall it was a great experience. Very convenient, clean, easy check in, beds were comfortable, the water stayed hot throughout my shower which is something I often have a problem with in hotels. There was a minor inconvenience; the shuttle was not running from 12pm untill 4pm. I landed at 1:45 so I was looking forward to checking in at 2pm (which was the check in time posted when I booked). This shuttle downtime was not noted anywhere when booking it simply said free airport shuttle during scheduled times between 4am and 11pm. They did have a sign at the check in desk when I arrived by taxi. Since I would be missing the free breakfast (which starts at 6:30am), they informed me upon check in that when I check out I can ask for a breakfast bag. I will update what was included later if I am able.
At the bare minimum in any hotel/motel/whatever the coffee/tea machine works and for some reason nothing in this disgusting room was functional. The lights dont stay on. The service is abysmal at best and the bare minimum of a working tea maker did not cut on. At the very least Id like to be able to enjoy something warm on wake up especially in a room Im PAYING for so this was disgusting.
This was the first Comfort Inn property I visited and the quality of stay was very poor. The state of the hotel was sloppy- untidy linen, deteriorated condition of furniture were among other negatives. The carpets in the room were unclean and so were the ones in the corridor. Even the quality of breakfast and coffee served was highly unsatisfactory.A high price was paid for a nights reservation and this hotel derives much of the value from its location/proximity to LGA airport. Otherwise, the hotel by itself or the stay is certainly no value for money.I highly suggest options in Manhattan even though prices will be higher or consider properties in the New Jersey area where stays can be relatively inexpensive.
The stay was not pleasant. In the hotel room, I could always hear the airplanes fly over the hotel. It got worse at night and I could barely sleep because the airplanes were so loud. Even when you could adjust the temperature in the room, it was always super cold no matter how much I adjusted it. Not only that, but I could hear screaming in the hallways at night from the other visitors who were staying in the hotel. The staff arent that friendly either. The hotel definitely did not feel safe to me.
The toilet didn’t work well and the hotel wasn’t in a very good area. Also, the elevator was not working so we had to walk up three flights of stairs every day. However, the bed was comfy, the room was always clean, and they had friendly customer service. Also the breakfast was pretty good.
Very friendly and professional staff. Room was small but clean and in a safe neighborhood. They offer complmentery hot breakfast and shuttle service to and from LGA. Walkable to many restaurants and bars, pizza places and delis, etc. My wife and I were treated very well. We would stay there again.
The people were fantastic! Everyone was so nice! Outstanding customer service, friendly staff, on-time shuttle service to and from!! Clean room, good air conditioning, good (free) breakfast! Room was a bit small but perfect for our needs. Refrigerator and tv both worked well. Free Wi-Fi too. Highly recommend this hotel. If you stay, try Little Pizza around the corner. They deliver too! Thank you Comfort Inn!!
Only 2 stars because the front desk staff was very friendly but the quality of the hotel itself needs a deep cleaning our room smelled like someone didn’t shower for weeks and left the stench there. Our blankets felt muggy so we just slept in top of it. The walls were dirty . But because we were staying only 1 night we decided to deal with it but made sure they knew about it. If the health department came by I’m afraid they’d be fined for how unkempt it was. A shame for the friendly staff!
Rooms are pretty small and clean. But for the price it isnt that bad. Near the airport which is a plus and they have a shuttle to take you there if you need too. They also have free breakfest. I ordered food from around the area and it was decent food. Highly recommended if your traveling alone or with a partner. Not a good hotel for families due to small rooms.
Fair. Not bad, but there were a few complaints. One front desk employee was good, courteous, and helpful, and one was very loud and slightly rude. The one cleaning lady I ran into was slightly rude as well. Also found two different colored long hairs in my bed (Im a guy with short hair).Everything else was fine. And none of those things we outstandingly bad either. 3 stars.
Check in was easy, room was clean, our room was in the basement (never had a room in the basement before), recently remodeled, the chair still had plastic wrap on it from the factory, air conditioning worked good but smelled musty, transfer was on time, and the driver was nice. The room was very small, people in hallway yelling at 4:30am, planes go directly over the hotel starting at 6am, runway is about 3 blocks away, breakfast was decent, breakfast room was clean but very very very small, coffee was terrible, the neighborhood was safe but different look safe, some people heard a lot of gun fire the night before. We chose this hotel because it HAD a 4.5 rating. We wanted something close to LGA where we could recoupe from a long trip before arriving home. Needless to say we were not able to sleep past the couple fighting in the hallway at 4:30AM!!!!! Then the planes sounding like they were landing next to our window (not exagerating) didnt help, neither did the taxis beeping their horns at 5am!!!!!! Needless to say say we will never stay here again. We thought we did decent research on this hotel but apparently we missed something! The main complaints we have are not necessarily with the hotel itself more with the location.
This hotel was selected for us as part of a free trip. We would have preferred to stay closer to town, but beggars/choosers, etc. We called ahead and found out that it had easy access to public transportation, which it did. When we saw the outside and the surroundings we were immediately put off--it looks pretty rough from the outside. However, all that really didnt matter when we got into our room. It couldnt have been cleaner or more comfortable. Even my very picky husband was completely happy and that is saying something. The staff was helpful and polite. Great shuttle service to the airport and they were willing to hold our baggage until our flight. Dont hesitate to stay here--it was great.
Ive stayed in two different comfort inns, and neither was all that great. They both have those weird showers, if you need to put directions in your bathroom on how to operate the shower, then you should take that as a sign that its time to update. The overall appearance is mediocre at best and the quality of customer service was non existent at the LaGuardia location. The staff were all very rude and unhelpful. Ive worked in customer service in the past and I know what helpful and friendly service is and it can be achieved without kissing ass and bending over backwards. I actually left early and stayed at a different hotel even though I had already paid for my stay at the comfort inn. The shuttle service is also a joke. If youre going to advertise being a hotel by the airport that has a shuttle service then your shuttle service should be available 24 hours ... you a hotel next to the airport, flights land around the clock, not just at convenient hours. Lastly, the wifi didnt work and I was here on business so thats a problem.
This wasnt my 1st choice of comfort inn hotels. I prefer the one in Long Island. But Ill digress. The front desk is not consistently courteous. This is not the worst comfort inn hotel Ive been to but its the smallest and their cleanliness of their towels is questionable.. These rooms are designed to fit only one person. You can hear your next door neighbors. Check your towels! Im a recovering germaphobe - so it still irks me to see any stains or hair on a supposedly clean towel. Ive had to have towels replaced and they were good about replacing them. The parking is tight, but theres also parking on the street. The bed and pillows are super comfortable. They can use a new mattress, considering the stains I noticed on the side. The breakfast is mediocre. The breakfast room/sitting area was tiny. I dont appreciate that they dont have plain waffle option. Theres only blueberry flavor. The location is pretty convenient. Its Close to airport and enterprise car rental.
The Hotel was dirty and disgusting. Major mold on the draperies along with blood stains on the pillow cases. The hotel staff was rude and not willing to address any issues. I was told the manager would be in on Saturday morning at 9:00. The desk person on Saturday said the managers never work on the weekends. The breakfast bar was empty of food at 8:45 and no one manning it. The hotel advertised free airport shuttle but said it was not available when I called for a pickup. I asked for the staff to have the manager call me and they refused. Dont stay at this hotel if you have health problems it is very unsanitary!!!
Our experience here was not pleasant first off, we waited an hour and a half at the airport for the bus shuttle, and they never showed up. We had to get an Uber. Our room was clean but smelled like cigarettes. When our stay was over we had to go to the airport 3 hours early because the shuttle doesnt run from 12-4 the driver was very unfriendly and at 11:00am he told my sister we had 6mins to get on the bus if we wanted a ride. So we hurried our selves and got out of there.
Its a nice surprise! Free shuttle from LaGuardia airport, hotel is very clean and staff is awesome! After our flight was cancelled, we were lucky enough to get a room. The staff checked us in and gave us delivery menus from local businesses so we didnt have to try and go anyplace so late at night. Nice little hidden gem.
This place is not worth the money.. The rooms are dirty and resemble motel rooms.. The heat does not work properly in any if the rooms....i checked in with my girl yesterday and the first room they gave us was brick cold and the bed was broken. it was lopsided... sheets were dirty... I asked for another room and they gave us a room in the C level which is the basement. The heat barely worked in that room also.. last but not least this hotel is right next to the airport so be ready for the noisy planes that fly rite over u every 2 minutes!
VERY close to LaGuardia airport!! This is a picture from the room of one of the airport towers and the end of a runway. However, once inside we never heard a plane. Clean rooms. Large by NYC size. The staff were friendly. We played cards in the dining area most of the evening. Taxi to airport was quick and free from hotel. We walked from the car rental place. It was a 15 minute hike, but on sidewalks and safe area. Would stay again. Price was good!
From the smell of smoke the whole day in a supposedly non smoking hotel to the tiny room and airport shuttle with undisclosed non working hours, my stay here was terrible. Theres no microwave or fridge in the room so forget heating anything up or keeping drinks cool. The area the hotel is in has no restaurants or stores and the outside of the hotel is I guess undergoing some sort of renovation because its all closed up. The halls smell weird and musty and so did the room when it didnt smell of smoke. Just a bad experience overall and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.
Shower and toilet was not working. told the front desk and was told that there was a restroom around the hallway. Also, they can change us rooms but with less beds. for the price point, I would expect the rooms rented out in top shape. They did have transportation to and from the airport and were able to accommodate 3 people at the last minute.
Dont ever come here they have rats I was mortified and they didnt even want to give me money. Dont believe the pictures. They also dont have a legit parking space. They have 5 spots to offer. They are rude. Dont book and they dont offer room service because the maids are the owners.
This hotel took me by surprise! I didnt think it was going to be all that great but man was I wrong. From the moment we walked in we were greeted by super friendly staff. The hotel was very clean and smelled fresh. Their beds were very comfortable and the free breakfast was wonderful. The location was also convenient. We took a short bus ride to the train station which took us straight where we wanted to go. They also offer free shuttle service to and from LGA. Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and will definitely consider this place for my next visit.
Everythings nice. Small but cozy rooms. Nice staff, good location. Only 4 stars cause sometimes the planes fly super low overhead when theyre landing or taking off and its noisy as hell for like 30 seconds but in the 3 days Ive been here its happened like 4 times. A minor inconvenience at most.
I selected this hotel after viewing the 360 view of the rooms. Yes, they are small, but still nice and clean. The price was good, especially with the free shuttle to and from the airport. There is a nice restaurant within walking distance. We stayed there the night before a Carnival Cruise from NY.
VERY POOR customer service! We booked a room at this hotel hoping to attend a grandsons graduation, only to have to cancel due to COVID-19. We cancelled more than a month in advance, and the hotel will not refund any of our money, but is still charging us for two days! Will NEVER even consider this hotel again!
Very close to the airport. This is an affordable hotel if you want to crash immediately after landing at LaGuardia. There is a free airport shuttle that will pick you up at the terminal. It does not operate from midnight to 4 am however so plan accordingly. Rooms have been recently updated. There is very limited parking so I recommend mass transit.
Very very convenient location if you are leaving from La Guardia Airport (LGA). Good price, regular shuttle service, clean rooms, breakfast included and courteous staff. My only concern, not being from NYC, is that Im not sure if I would just walk around in the hotel area at night.
Good stay for the price. Great location. Close to LaGuardia airport with free shuttle. Air freshener in the room was really strong, but Im sensitive to strong smells so it may not be bothersome if youre not.Would go back though for the convinience of the location and free shuttle.
It was so bad business and very poor customer service.I have canceled correctly before arrival time with hotels.com.I have booked here reason why this hotel showed no fee cancelation when I have a booked. But this hotel charged my credit card without my agreement. She is very poor communication and bad attitude on the phone.Feels so bad and cheap worker there.
Refuses to work with anyone when life happens. Turns out, if you book this hotel the day you may need them and you cant make it because youre not in that portion of the country, due to travel delays beyond your control, be prepared to pay full price. I booked the hotel three hours before arrival and called back three after booking to let them know I could physically not make it. They didnt care and made me pay full price. I was fully prepared to pay the cancellation fee, I would understand that. Dont stay here. This can only reflect the rest of the customer service.
Absolutely terrible experience. Shuttle took 1 hour to pick me up at the airport even though Melanie at the front desk said 5 minutes. She was fresh, ride on the phone, and should absolutely be demoted or fired. My company has an account with this hotel and Im going to cancel it and recommend another property. Absolutely horrendous treatment by Melanie and staff.
Its reasonable for the price. Have stayed a few times. The rooms are clean, bathroom too. Breakfast attendant VERY attentive and kind. Front desk clerks(3) different shifts were really sweet, courteous and helpful. We ordered food out and they made it easy for delivery person to get to our room. The kitchen/ lounge was clean and coffee, ice and hot water for tea was availabke at all hours. It was quiet. Mostly just heard slamming of doors upon people entering and leaving rooms but not often. Parking was in back. The Queens size rooms werent that big outside of the bed. If you are a big person or staying with another big person get the King side bed rooms. The air conditioner was cold and heating was too hot... But that is the patronage issue. The room gets hot fast because the rooms are small. Lighting was good 4 lamps plenty of clarity. TV was also ok, cable fine, Wifi too.... Coffee machine in room. All in all everything was decent for the price... It isnt The Hilton, but all places have its downfall... Yes even the hilton. The only thing I didnt like is that the block it is in is very very very dark area. They need to call 311 and get lights installed on streets. I went out to buy food and you could get easily mugged because there is a car wash on corner and business closed at night. It felt creepy walking that street. Anyone could follow and hurt someone. Its a desolate area.
Honestly, I was only here because of a friend visiting, however, the rooms here are super small. There is limited parking. They only have about 7 parking spaces and its a super small parking area. There isnt a great selection of fast food or restaurants around this area unless you drive more than 2 miles away from the hotel. The only possible purpose of staying here is if you missed a flight at LaGuardia or if you have an extreme lay over flight.
We overnighted at this hotel prior to a flight from LaGuardia. I cannot say enough good things about the front desk staff. We were welcomed on arrival and offered dining ideas. Very friendly. The next morning there was an issue with the shuttle and a car service was ordered. Then, when we arrived at LaGuardia, we realized we had left a bag on the bench in front of the hotel. Again, the front desk staff was very helpful. The bag was retrieved and held. We were able to get a ride back, pick up the bag and make our flight. We truly appreciate the excellent service. Thanks!
The 2-5 star reviews are FAKE! This RoachMotel is NASTY Disgusting, Nasty Ants in our room & on the bed. The manager came and took pictures we left at 2 a.m. in the morning when my daughter woke up screaming because of the ants! They promised to refund my money, however after we returned to Texas they said they will not refund our money like they said because the manager offered us another Nasty room & we declined! Now the manager will not return my phone calls or address my refund.
The rooms and bathrooms are very small, no curtain on the window, Limited parking, tv remote does not work, there is no microwave in the room, no closet, no gym, no laundry room, front desk people are very rude and so on. I do not recommend this place, it does not worth the price.
Horrible experience the staff and management were rude, unreasonable, and dishonest. I booked on hotels.com they did not advertise it was street parking it just says “free parking”. I could not find anyplace to park on the street. I went in and spook to the staff at the front desk and I was told to park in a spot that was an illegal parking spot I refused, and had no other choice but to cancel my reservation because I had no place to park my car there. The staff member informed me to get a refund I would have to call on that following Monday and speak to the manager which i did. I called several times to speak to the manager “shaniza”, when she answered she was very rude. I informed her of what transpired about how there was not a place for me to park her reply was “oh well this is New York City parking is a problem everywhere”. I told her she was being unreasonable and rude at which time she loudly “NO YOURE BEING UNREASONABLE”. I asked for her name the name of her supervisor or the district manager she only gave me an email which was wrong. The email she gave me was a dead email address. Do yourself a favor don’t stay here there is no parking it says free parking but it’s street parking.
Pros: Really close to La Guardia Airport, free shuttle service which was very prompt. We only waited maybe 10 mins to be picked up and it was ready at 5:10 am at the time of our departure. At arrival to the hotel we were greatly nicely and professional by the staff, and the hotel smelled nice.Free wifi that worked fine, nice amount of things to choose from at breakfast & really nice Lady helping in breakfast area. Room was clean and bed was comfy, receptionist was able to give us clear directions both days to get to the places we needed to get without getting lost once.Cons: Hotel room are a little small but they were sufficient for us to stay comfortably.Breakfast area is small as well, in general the areas of the hotel are small but its clean & good for price.Another cons is this hotel is located in Queens which is about a 45 mins to 1 hour distance from The Bronx & Manhattan if you are using public transportation & walking to get around like we did. But it was an experience and we didnt really feel the distance because you will be very entertain in the busses and trains.Overall I would recommend the stay here, and would come back here if needed in the future.
We were tired jet lagged coming back from Croatia. My husband ask the taxi service valet man for a hotel close by that was reasonable for NYC. He suggested that we go to Comfort Inn. We got a king size bed on first floor, everything that a tired travellers needs- COMFORTABLE bed, clean room, hairdrier and iron, quiet ...We were actually quit surprised, its a nice little motel highly recommend!
This place is a joke. No numbers on the doors, just pieces of paper, broken A/C unit, broken walls everywhere, and the room I was assigned should have been used as a storage closet. Their ‘breakfast area’ has a total of 6 (maybe 8) seats at 4 tables.... and you WILL bump other tables sitting down or standing up. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
The hotel is located very close to Laguardia Airport, which makes it a great hotel for last minute flight cancellations or any other problems. The rooms are a bit small but there is complementary breakfast and free wifi, which was nice. The rooms are a bit overpriced. There is a shuttle to and from the airport free of charge, which is extremely convenient. I would recommend this hotel for any last minute problems but would not recommend it for long stays.
Closest to airportDid provide a shuttle to airport which was very helpful however front desk was very confusing as to pick up areas in the airport for the hotel I had to change terminals to be picked up and the driver said that I could’ve been picked up at the terminal that I was at that needs to be fixed other than that the stay at the hotel served it’s purpose
Quiet, reasonabley priced for the area and unlimited lemon water just cold enough to make me brave the two floor climb three times to indulge. Only real issue is that I couldnt get any coffee from either the pot that didnt work in my room in which I wasted 15 minutes trying to get brewing and the main pot during breakfast that wasnt spitting either.... Thats a big damn issue.

2022-02-13I had a pretty decent stay here. I missed a flight out of the city and had to catch the next one in the morning I was just looking for a relatively cheap place to stay. There was a free shuttle to and from the airport which was really convenient. I called in after booking and the person directed me to where I could find the shuttle, which already happened to be at the airport. The front desk clerk at the hotel was polite and efficient, and my room was warm and comfortable. Perfectly adequate for my short stay and for being so close to the airport, especially for the price. I didnt stay long enough to try the breakfast.I scheduled a shuttle back to the airport in the morning but close to pickup the front desk called me and told me their shuttle person never showed up that morning so they called me a cab instead, free of charge. I thought that was a very professional way of handling it.Overall Id stay here again if I needed somewhere to crash overnight to catch an early flight.

2021-12-24My stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was clean and quiet and I felt safe. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The people had good attitudes and cheery dispositions. I really valued having a shuttle service to and from the airport. It would have been nice to have been able to control the temperature in my room, and I would have preferred thicker towels that werent old and frayed.

2022-03-10I dont normally post reviews, but I wanted to for this hotel because I had such a lovely experience in a pinch. I spent most of the day at LGA and they finally cancelled my flight and I needed somewhere to stay on a budget. The staff is so so sweet, the room was small but exceptionally clean. The bed was super comfy, and the towels in the bathroom were just as fluffy! The walls are pretty thin and the planes flying over are pretty loud, but Im a really heavy sleeper so it didnt bother me too much. Im thankful I found this place!

2022-06-24Front desk is very nice. Rooms are very clean and room service is timely and courteous. Would definitely recommend. The airport shuttle is very helpful and the driver is a gentleman helping me with my luggage when a wheel broke off and helped me carry them. Would stay here again when flying out of LGA. Quality compared to other hotels in the vicinity is incomparable.

2022-06-25My mom and I had to overnight because of airline delays and missed connections and this place was pretty solid. The staff was friendly, efficient and informative. They let us know about the food options that were within walking distance. The room was clean and we slept well. Would definitely recommend if you need somewhere close to the airport. They also have an airport shuttle that goes to and from LaGuardia airport and our driver was very friendly.

2022-05-11Everything is super clean, but the woman at the front desk is a superstar! Incredibly kind, and accommodating. We flew in for a funeral and needed to change. She bent over backwards to make sure we got a room early and all with such grace and kindness

2022-04-06If you just need a bed and a shower for the night this place works. If you are expecting any kind of amenities then this is the wrong option. There is really no lobby, the walls are paper thin so lots of noise, there was no breakfast of any kind on the day I was there even tho it is advertised. Rooms are super small as well.

2022-06-04I had a connection flight at LGA that was cancelled late at night and we needed a place to say overnight before our return flight home the next day. The rooms were clean but basic and a little worn (as I expected an airport hotel would be). The man at the front desk was so wonderful and nice to us as we were trying to get to the the hotel. He offered to send his driver to come pick us up from the airport if we were done rebooking our flight home by 1230 am. They have a free airport shuttle that runs every 30 minutes with a break in the midday. Its a short drive to the airport.
