Bad customer service,I received my cold appetizer and had to wait for the bread 15 minutes!!Bread just bread, even though I asked for it two times and the third time he bring me the meal and not bread yet I had to yell wheres my bread!?The tall waiter told me oh...he didnt gave you bread yet, and hes the one I was asking all this time, all that happened while there was just four costumers only at this restaurant..That was on 06/13/2022 at 5:00pm.,Forgot to mentioned the guy who makes the bread by his counter he wiped his knows with wax paper and works without gloves, I understand work with dough and flour dont need gloves but come on you can go wash your hands.
This place was amazing!!!! 100% halal and delicious. Ozlem served us and she was the sweetest and kindest person I met. She got our entire order down. The waiter who also helped out was really efficient and fast. The food was mouth watering! We had the mixed grill, haydari, the Kabusili pide, baklava, and Turkish tea. The owner is the same from the previous place called Mocha. We were happy to hear that he remained in business. Def try it out if you are in bay ridge!
10/10 experience and the food was great! The staff here is very sweet! The food tasted amazing and the portion sizes are very generous! There was no wait time and the vibe was very welcoming. The tables are are socially distant and they are very clean follwing the guidelines of the pandemic. Would definitely come here again!
Friendly and fast service. Delicious homemade meals and yummy oven foods I’ve tried lahmacun (Turkish style pizza with ground meat) baby okra and manti ( Turkish ravioli with garlic yogurt sauce on top mmm was so delicious! And they serve the fresh hot bread with green olive, yogurt dip and spicy kind of marinara sauce before you get your order ready. And the music gets you so peaceful and calm you just enjoy the meal and moment here. I was sitting alone but I felt like I was at my friends house. They treat you like your a guest not the customer.

Lovely experience. They start you with bread dipping sauce and olives. Food was delicious fresh and seasoned. Coffee was perfect (some places make it muddy). I give them 5 stars and will be back for dinner!

We ordered the mixed appetizer which had 6 different items, each delicious which came with warm bread.We were so happy to sit outside in our own heated pod with clear plastic dividers between us and the next table. So safe.We ordered Adana (lamb) Kebab and an adana sandwich. Filling and tasty.
ABSOLUTELY THE BEST TURKISH FOOD OUTSIDE ISTANBUL! Uzlem, the hostess is super sweet and very prompt and helpful! Atmosphere is beautiful, outside seating with space heaters and most importantly, VERY CLEAN, inside and out! I highly recommend this place for lunch, dinner or date night; your date will love it! Again, 10/10 Recommendations!
I’ve got Chicken Chops as a main dish it was so delicious. Also tried their lentil soup and mixed appetizer plate and everything was soo good. The food is very good. Strongly recommend the platter with various dips. It goes very well with the bread provided. The sampler of the kebab is also a good choice since you can try all the kebab. Also, the chicken kebab is good because it wont be too dry However, I wish the staff would wear a mask during the pandemic.

An accidental find turned a five-star for the authenticity. When a Turkish restaurant brandishes Lahmacun, its already a good sign, but then my next test is then baked fish. The Branzini was delivered with perfection. They have an assortment of Baklavas, which are out of this world.Outstanding staff.Here is the kicker: I noticed the staff is exceptionally kind to a mother and child while they were practically trespassing.This is not in my usual route, but its one of those gems in Brooklyn.

This place takes care of the hospital. We order a lot and they give us a lot. The chicken and hummus is really really good at this place.
Food was good, both the falafel and the humus. Disappointed that the white sauce for the falafel wasnt a tahini sauce,, which they dont have.. Baklava was OK, but not exceptional. Downpoint: when we were there in early January the staff were masked but they were not checking vaccination status of the patrons.

Absolutely in love with this yummy Turkish restaurant with the best staff!! We made it our second home, living close by and its our favorite dinner spot!! The grilled fish is always fresh and so delicious and the salads are like in Turkey!!! So far weve tried most of the menu and highly recommend the desserts, as well as the vegan appetizers. SUPER clean and the people working there make you feel like home! The outside area is open during the winter, too with heaters and its, indeed, very romantic to eat there in the tents - private and cozy!! Great place - thank you!!
Just tried Ay kebab and sure glad I did. The food was terrific, the waitstaff was very warm and inviting also. Grilled salmon was to die for!! Desserts are all fresh homemade. I am looking forward to trying the whole menu. I will be frequenting from now on. Thankyou Ay kebab for the Delicious food and great atmosphere!!!👌
I moved to bay ridge over a year ago. there are many options for mediterranean places. I tried lamb shish kabab it was juicy and yummy but rice is definitely scrumptious. coming back again!
Absolutely love it! Food was great, Lentil soup was so delicious, definitely will recommend to anyone. Waitress was so sweet and friendly, she even gave us Turkish tea for free. And for final, price point is really lower than average NYC restaurant. I will come back for sure.

The food was outstanding..first time wont be last!!! Everything was so well prepared and it was delivery..the liver melted in my mouth I asked them not to over fry and they listened..I have had Turkish food several places including Istanbul..good job deserves 10 stars..hope they are consistent..I will be ordering again to see ..yum

First time here.. unbelievable how the food is so dreamy delicious. The people who work there definitely make the food with love from their heart I’m telling you, and the people who served you are greatest people very generous and smiling they are great please anyone read my review go try the this restaurant.
I went to this place after a search for Turkish cuisine. They had good ratings so I gave it a try. The food tasted fresh. I liked their salad and their take on falafels. You can really taste the flavors. The mixed grill platter was a hefty meal to share for two people. We couldnt even finish it! The seasoning was very nice; I especially liked the chicken. The outdoor dining ambiance was also nice. There is good spacing between each table, so it didnt feel like we were on top of each other. This is especially important during these times; theres plexiglass separating us from other guests. It felt like a private retreat. The servers were nice and the food came out at a decent speed. I also liked that I could try a traditional drink called salgam; a quick Google search says its turnip juice. So I ordered it thinking its beet juice due to its color. The bottle called it fermented black carrot juice. I was shocked by it. It is actually a savory drink. It took a while to adjust to, but I liked that I could try something different; that was a fun experience. The bill didnt come out too much and we were stuffed. Altogether it was a good dining experience.
This place went above and beyond with their service and food. The waiter was kind and polite, and the food was very tasty. I ordered the chicken shish kebab and was shocked at how tender and well seasoned the chicken was at such a decent price. Truly an amazing place, would 100% recommend to anyone looking to eat Turkish food.
I had Adana Kebab and my girlfriend had Doner Gyro and they were both amazing. In addition we had two spreads that come with amazing bread as well as Turkish soda. All in all, it was so tasty, and although we did not have the fries, we saw someone else’s and they looked so fresh! Finally the service was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back here.
Honestly the best Turkish food I have EVER had!!! And Ive eaten from many Turkish restaurants! The food from this restaurant, really stands apart from the rest! Tastes like it is home made! I have never before craved Turkish food as often as I have since eating here!This has been the only one Ive continually eaten from as much as I have. And theyve only fairly recently opened! (So thats saying a lot!)Both the quality and quantity of the food are on point!The staff are super warm and attentive. The atmosphere is inviting and tranquil! And its incredibly clean! No corners cut here!I very highly recommend giving this restaurant a try!!! :)
In mid June 2021, me and my friend went for dinner to have food. We placed an order. 2 orders, asking if they can provide salad and olive oil. He brought the salad and olive oil in nice dishes. One my of buddies asked if he can bring out an extra olive oil and we will pay extra. He brought the olive oil but he did not put it in a regular plate he put it in a plastic plate, very disrespectfully. I asked him why he didn’t put it in a plate and he said he did not want us as customers anymore, one of the other waiters then proceed to say “Get out my dad is the owner”

5 stars. Wonderful Covid safe set up with outdoor heater, each table full separated and enclosed. The waiter was very attentive, the plates beautiful. Food was very good, lamb chop and lamb cubes really tasty, so was the dessert. Definitely worth trying!

Although it has yet opened about a month ago this restaurant become our first to go place .Delicious food , meats are always well cooked ,salads and deserts are great!Best service you could receive! I ordered grilled salmon through Uber eats and paid exactly the same price I would pay going to this restaurant. So I called this place to make sure salad is there and no rice. When I received the delivery I got shocked. It is a garbage plate. One piece of salmon which is inedible because it was so bitter and had a strange taste it was 100% not fresh with dried fries. I called the place to tell them how come the price is the same but the food is not the same as the one you get in their restaurant. The guy said yes it’s served like that for delivery . Wait what ...? And then he said you know what I’m new here call back tomorrow for a manager. I’m so disappointed even if it’s just food but for me this is STEALING. And also I got sooo upset because I was craving for salmon but never ate it. I WILL NEVER ORDER OR GO TO THIS PLACE again. AWFUL !!!!Ps. I had to throw the food in the trash ( salmon/ fries) I didn’t want to get sick not mentioning the bad smell.

Holy cow. This place is AMAZING food. Really authentic Turkish food. My husband is turkish and makes authentic Turkish food and this reminds me of that (except better don’t tell my husband hehe).The Adana wrap was awesome. The PIDE was the best pide I ever had. The baklava- AMAZING. I love this place. The customer service is good excellent. I will come to this place again for sure!!!

This is my favorite restaurant ever. The food tastes delicious especially the lintel soap and Adana Kebab. Brilliant owner in accommodating with the COVID-19 and social distancing. The heaters in this cold weather is a PLUS.

Besides the doordash driver being late and the food a bit cold, which i didnt mind putting in the oven for 5 minutes, i was pleasantly suprised at the quality and flavor of the food. I ordered the falafel with the hummus and pita, and the chicken adana wrap. Both tasted fantastic. Sauces were light and not overbearing, and the spices and flavors were put together well. Their presentation of the falafel can be better. Mine came with the falafel pushed into the hummus too much and they were basically covered and mashed with the hummus. Salad was nice. All in all i am definitely going back, just not getting it delivered. I highly recommend this place!
This review is based on pickup. I ordered different items from the oven over the phone. It was kind of large order and took 35 minutes to prepare. Everything was packed properly, food was hot and somebody helped me to carry to my car. My ride was about 25 minutes to home. All the bags stayed well in the car and nothing spilled out. They put lahmacuns and pides into the boxes then bagged. All the sides (a lot of onions, tomatoes, parsley and lemons) were packed into the aluminum trays then bagged. There was no utensils and napkins because I specifically told them not to put. Food was still warm enough to eat and so delicious. Lahmacun’s thin crust was satisfying which is very important. Pides stuffed generously. Sliced onions, tomatoes and parsley were so fresh otherwise would ruin everything. I hope they can keep this quality and serve to the neighborhood for a long time. I live in Staten Island and wouldn’t mind to cross the bridge as long as I can eat good lahmacun. I definitely recommend this place for Turkish food.

2021-12-24This Turkish restaurant is small, cozy with nice ambiance. Our server was friendly. Food was good too, though it has room for improvement. Calamari in salad were burned a bit, and Adana kebab was not as juicy and tasty as original in Turkey, Antalya.Appetizer plate and sweets were good.

2022-01-08If youre looking for good quality Turkish food in Bay Ridge, look no further than Ay Kebab! The restaurant is right on the busy corner of 86th street and 4th Ave.Their portions are generous and easy to share! I got the Calf liver to start, it was amazing, nice and crisp but still soft inside and the flavors were great. Next we got the Sausage and Cheese Pide and the cheese was perfectly gooey and the sausage had great flavor. ( Looks like pepperoni but taste better!) After that we shared the mixed grill plate, it came with four different meats and lamb chops, rice and salad!Great place for Turkish food!

2022-03-04Came here for a late lunch while looking at cars at the nearby VW and Honda dealerships. This is a modern, spacious sit-down restaurant located right next to 86th St R station. I got the lamb shish kebab and adana lamb kebab combo for $21. I asked to substitute the fries/rice with more salad, which they willingly did. The meat was tender, cooked right and well seasoned. Although good, I was not as impressed with the adana, so would probably do pure shish kebab in the future. The salad which was a mixture of red cabbage and romaine lettuce was crisp and flavorful, especially with the dressing. The service was great. The only negative was the free pita bread which was hard and not fresh. However, overall, I would definitely come again.

2022-02-01I ordered Baklava and kinds & Keskul (almond pudding) to go. My friends and I enjoyed them after having lunch. We had them with tea. I had black tea to go with the desserts, which perfectly balanced with the sweetness of the desserts. They were delicious.

2021-06-07We were at AY KEBAB Restaurant for dinner with my family tonight. We really enjoyed Adana lamb and chicken kebabs. My daughter’s favorite was chicken shish kebab. We recommend this family friendly restaurant for special occasions with your loved ones.

2022-05-14First of all it has great food. Prices are good as well considering Brooklyn. Family friendly, great service. Been going there for a while now and don’t have to go to New Jersey anymore. There is always parking nearby.
