This spot used to be Orlandos Cafe for many years and now under new owners and new name!Slowly but surely they are revamping the space and giving the store a much needed face lift with new counters, a fresh coat of paint and such.Diego, who I think is the manager there, said while they will keep most of the popular breakfast items that Orlandos offered, like Beso sandwiches and Pinto Gallo, they will be overhauling the lunch and dinner menus and do away with some of the dishes that either didnt make sense or werent as popular, but the tacos will stay! They will also be slowly bringing in more Peruvian dishes to the menu as well in the next few months.Happy to see that the space remains an eatery and look forward to coming back to trying the new menu items while still enjoying the signature Orlandos breakfast items still being offered.
This is a good restaurant with a variety of food options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I had the bandeja típica and I thought it was good. The cheese served on the arepa wasnt too flavorful but the rice, beans and steak was delicious. My friend ordered the breakfast burrito and she absolutely loved it. Id recommend this restaurant as it is one of the few serving delicious Spanish dishes in the local area.
My husband and I went there last week; the place was nice. However, we ordered rice and ceviche de pescado and they took forever to serve it, more than an hour to be exact. So we just paid our drinks and left without trying or seeing our food... So sad because that was our first time there.
Not much to like about this place. As a customer from out of town and not familiar with the Hampton Bay Area, I was treated like garbage for not understanding the scattered menu across the walls written on paper and chalkboards. So when I asked for a particular item on the menu (a single taco), I was yelled at by the older woman behind the counter, were only making breakfast right now! I cant deal with making anything other than that! Even though it was 12:00pm. The food was good enough though, but they should probably figure out a better system to order it (maybe a physical menu that states what time you split breakfast from lunch, because I was under the impression that 12:00pm was lunch time. just an idea)
Best food on the East End. As a food lover it hurts to have VERY few places to eat in my home town that are Par, and dont break the bank. I have found the later almost impossible. I met the impossible last night and the steaks were raised. I wanted to eat every thing I saw, and could afford to. Had dinner last night and am returning for breakfast this morning. The only thing better then the amazing food, is the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Orlandos crew for giving us this treasure.Note: Its primarily and Spanish food place, so if your sensitive to spice be careful.
Definitely not what I expected. Its more like fast foods and a bakery. Very casual. My soursop juice was delicious but the price was very expensive. Each empanada costs almost $ 3 and very small. Dont order the patacon with chicken. Super greasy and burnt and I dont know what sauce they put on it but I personally dont like it. The positive is that there is a variety of foods so I will definitely return to try something else
They do not taste the same to me as the empanadas that I tried before but the treatment of the girl in service is delicious ... I hope and everywhere they will treat us the same very sweet and spectacular I would definitely return being close it would be one of my favorite places to stop even alone for a coffee! ❤️
Honestly my experience was not pleasant I am sorry to say this but today my family and I visit that place and honestly the attention is terrible at this point you also know that we have to have the necessary measures and the girls who are attending have the mask on their chin Others do not even use it, we told them they had to use it correctly and it seems that they do not care, and they did not give me my order either, we left very disappointed, I hope that the owners take action on the matter with that irresponsibility they lose customers.

2019-01-16The place we were originally going was closed Tuesday, so we looked for a new place to try.....and so glad we chose this one! We had actually just come back from a trip to Colombia and the food was spot on - including the patacones! The pics say it all - everything absolutely delicious and cooked perfectly and friendly service. They don’t have a special lunch menu though.

2021-09-12I am very disappointed of the service, food, and the place in general. Was full of bees, and mosquitoes. The food was cold. Only half of the place has the AC on; Even though, it was full of people. Not recommended for indoor eating, just take out.

2020-10-26Pretty good pulled chicken arepa; but the beef was tough, and the cheese on top was kind of cheap-tasting. Great beverage selection, though. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

2018-08-01Found this place just on a whim when my wife and I decided to drive through the island. I think the place was empty when we walked in, but there definitely wasn’t any shortage of people picking up to go orders constantly throughout our meal. To me it was obvious that’s it’s a local favorite. The cashier was helpful, patient, and very friendly. I can’t remember the name of the sandwich I got, but it was better than I would have expected. The chicken was a perfect combination of crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The chipotle mayo sauce to compliment it is just the right amount of creamy and spicy. The sweet potato fries really were the kind that all those other fries try to be. These are like the Ferrari of fries for mouths that like to feel important.Bathroom was a bit cluttered, but not stinky. I don’t knock any stars for that cuz I showed up for he food not the toilet, but it could be better.

2019-05-30Just went for breakfast and had the Deep Fried French toast which was always good at Orlando’s and still is pretty good. But I also ordered a glass of orange juice with my breakfast, they have it but it is not in the menu, so when I got the bill the glass of OJ was $7.50, almost as much as my French toast. Absolutely astronomical, you just lost my business forever and whoever else I tell. I have a family business in Southampton and we have fresh squeezed OJ made every morning and we still aren’t ripping people off like you guys are! Absolutely insane you guys want more than the cost of an egg sandwich for a cup of OJ

2019-12-16Ordered a combo and it was incomplete and the chicken was old and came from a refrigerator and partially reheated in a microwave. The chicken was still cold for the most part. There was no Peruvian sauce for the chicken neither. The hot buffet area is set up bodega style. But the food didnt look too fresh.Only thing that we received fresh were the french fries but there were no condiments available.
