I recently hired Babies Getaway US to have a pack and play/travel crib delivered to me while on vacation in Moab, UT and staying at an AirBnB. I selected non-contact delivery and they were to leave the crib outside the door between 6-9pm on our day of arrival at the AirBnB. Time went by and NO DELIVERY of the crib whatsoever. I contacted the customer line and got a message about hours of business. I messaged the text customer service number and they only informed me that their info showed it was delivered and I should check the front door. Obviously I had done this already and it was not anywhere nearby. The customer service rep stopped responding to me when they were made clearly aware that my 6 month old child had no safe space to sleep for the night. We had to manage to try to get our baby to sleep on a bed between us (unsafe) which ended up in him screaming all night. There was nowhere nearby open to even buy a crib at that hour.The next morning we got on the phone with a customer service rep who told us that our BGUS order was essentially an Amazon order and they were informed that Amazon had delivered to our door yet had not proof of that delivery in the form of a photo, which Amazon usually provides when dropping a package on a doorstep. Babies Getaway offered us the option of them ordering a crib from Walmart AND THAT WE HAD TO DRIVE 3 HOURS ROUND TRIP WITH OUR INFANT TO GO PICK IT UP. Outrageous!The purpose of ordering from BGUS was to have convenient delivery of our equipment for a safe space to sleep for our infant on vacation and that was NEVER provided. They never were able to prove they delivered the crib and refunded our money.If you are looking for a reliable company for safe equipment for your child, I would NEVER recommend BGUS. Bring your own travel crib and check it on the plane, and dont trust BGUS to provide anything in a timely manner.
Recently visited orlando and needed to rent a full size crib and mattress. Maribel was very helpful. She delivered the items to our airbnb, set it up and even put the linens on. The wife was very happy. Could not ask for anything better. Thanks so much. We have another rental in nyc this month!
Never trust babies getaway if you rely on them. They are not trustworthy and will cancel your order at the very last moment. They will issue a refund saying we are booked out despite confirmation of the order (for us the reason on call was strollers were recalled) and the email said they are booked out
Babies Getaway made it an absolute breeze to travel with my 1yr old. They dropped off and picked up the stroller from our hotels front desk on time and the stroller was clean and really easy to use! Thank you so much! We will definitely rent again for our next trip 👍🏼
Had such a good experience using babies getaway. They have all the new safety car seats and excellent strollers in which I was looking for during my stay Stay-Cation! All items I received came like brand new and clean which is a huge plus for me. I plan on using them again when I plan getaways and escapes. The website was easy to use and customer service is friendly! I do enjoy their services. Thanks babies getaway!
Cancelled 4 days before our stay. No other options available and no effort to go buy a crib and deliver to fulfill an order they accepted and charged our card for. I suggest you use ANYONE else so this does happen to you. UPDATE - I get calls and texts the next morning at 9am telling me I am wrong, you OVER SOLD AN ITEM. Their response is complete fabrication as they are trying to look good but this type of issue is common with them as you can see in the other 1 stars. Again - If you OVERBOOK just go by another crib, the $200 you were charging for a weeks pays for it so if you only rent it once after you have doubled your money. The fact you texted me the next day in all CAPS tells me about your company.
I was wanting to rent a crib for the weekend and came across Babies Getaway. I was looking at some other companies but the prices were really high for deliveries. My husband called and ordered the crib and we were able to get it in setup in our hotel since he arrived early.The crib was in good condition and the sheets were freshly cleaned and was in a ziploc bag. The driver was really nice and even offered to set it up and moved it for us to another room since we wanted it moved after. Ah love this company and will use them again!
First time I rented a crib and tub, crib was in just good condition, it was very beaten up and tub was not what was requested. They didn’t pick up the items when scheduled which caused conflict with our host. Tried yet again to rent a double stroller the following year. I was told the stroller requested was unavailable and they sent me another completely different to my needs even thought I never agreed to have it delivered. It was very used and even had hotel tags from previous users.
This was my third, and LAST time using Babies Getaway. The last time they didnt pick up the furniture for a week but said each day they would pick it up, causing my 75 year old father to move 3 pieces of furniture onto the porch and back inside every day for a week. The agent that was helping me was rude, insisted it was not her fault (no one accused her) and then told me she was a single mother and needed my good recommendations. Terrible! This last time my furniture didnt show up on time so I called and they said it was on the way. It never showed up!! And then they closed for the weekend so my baby had nothing to sleep in. They did refund me and this agent was very apologetic but I dont trust the service any more. Will never use them again or recommend.
They have the best strollers you’ll find anywhere. Their Baby Jogger Mini Stroller is top of the line. It allowed me to get around the Upper West Side and do my errands while comfortably traveling with my toddler. The stroller was light yet strong enough to handle the environment you’ll encounter in the city. Made my life so much easier.
They have a vast selection of items to choose from when looking for the perfect item for your child. I rented a swinging cradle and I couldn’t be happier. The cushion was very comfortable and the cradle was highly adjustable. I was able to use it without a hitch. Great service.
Well, can I even give it a star if our equiptment never arrived? We ordered a swing for our first day in New York since our baby is always calmed by the swing and often falls asleep in the swing. We paid up front and there was no swing when we arrived. There was no swing the next day either. The office isn’t open on the weekends so we couldn’t even speak to anyone to find out what was going on. I emailed and called multiple times and never received a call back. I finally called my credit card company to cancel the payment since not the product never arrived. The company never responded to my email or my phone messages. Beyond disappointing. We were lucky that this was just a luxury item and not a necessity.
Babies Getaway! Has been a godsend. I needed a full size crib last minute and called this company up. I thought we could of picked up in NYC, but they actually deliver and pickup. I was able to rent a crib for 1 week for about $120 with linens. It was delivered and the driver even walked up 3 flight of stairs! Very impressed guys!
We rented a crib and mattress from this company. They were supposed to deliver between 9&11. When we initially called we were told to call the shipping company and they wouldnt provide any further support. Everything finally arrived and to our surprise was in horrible condition. The crib had throw up on the frame and was very dirty. The mattress came unprotected and was also extremely dirty. As if the delivery guy just dragged a mattress around the city with now protective layer. The sheets were given in a pharmacy bag. When we called simply looking for a solution, they were very confrontational. We were told they will come pick it up and nothing they could do. It was 5pm and I was left stranded with no options for my child to sleep. We simply asked that they replace the mattress Before long, they started threating my family and said they were coming to our hotel to fight us. It was absolutely horrible service.. We begged for a manager and when he finally came on the phone, only continued to threaten my family. He acted like a gangster and continued to threaten and call me horrible names. Stay away from this company. Theyre a bunch of scammers. Watch out. Not safe
Their play yard cabana was a life saver. It came fully assembled and its portability allowed me to easily transport it wherever I needed to. While I was cooking I was able to place it in plain view so I could keep an eye on the child I was babysitting. She enjoyed rolling around the padded floor and the see through mesh allowed me to monitor her at all times. The ventilation was a plus as well. I’m impressed with the high quality.
We rented and paid for a full size crib (included a tip for delivery guy). Not only was it left out in the pouring rain (while I was home all along waiting for the delivery) they delivered me a compact crib instead of the full size one. I Tried calling twice yesterday, left two messages. No one got back to me. Now I’m stuck because they are closed for Christmas Eve. Terrible customer service. I will be spreading the word about my experience.
Can I give zero stars? This place is awful. Awful! We rented $200 worth of baby equipment. It never showed up. I called and called and was finally told (on our last day of vaca) that they didn’t know where it was, so I asked them to cancel it. That was two months ago and they still have not refunded me. I’ve called at least 15 times, have spoken with numerous people, and they kept saying my refund was “in processing.” The last time I called, they said it was refunded, which it has not been. Every time I submit a ticket complaining, they just send me a response that “it’s closed” and my complaint has been resolved. I don’t think I’ll ever get my money back.
ZERO STARS. Unfortunately that is not an option. Not only has this company failed to deliver my order (My sister and her infant son are visiting and I have no bedding for him), but they have 1) lied about attempted delivery (I was at my house the bell was not rung, no one knocked, nor did they call me) 2) they have been unresponsive to my calls we are either outside of operating hours, doing maintenance on our systems or truthfully they really just dont care about their customers, and 3) they have not proposed a viable solution. I have called at least 10 times, filed at least 5 tickets and have only been told well someone tried to deliver itPS I live within 1 mile of their storefront and have offered to come to them to pickup my order in person. No response. Their website says that they are closed currently and always. Im not sure that they are actually a real business or just a fraud to collect credit card information from trusting people.STAY AWAY. DO NOT PUT YOUR TRUST IN THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR CHILD.
I dont know if I would use this company. They seem very unreliable. We were suppose to get a delivery today and it still has not arrived. There is no way to contact anybody and all of our calls and emails have been completely unresponsive. I will update this review if anything changes, but it does seem like a pattern based on reading the other reviews.They finally arrived but it was over one hour later. Its frustrating that you have no way to contact to anybody.
I ordered baby items to be delivered in August, 2017 and was charged on my credit card $194.45. Two days before delivery I was called to tell me they were out of my items.....to this day, I have been promised by Brian, Margaret and Ashley a refund and just lies....BUY ER BEWARE....my next recourse will be the BBB.....CAUTION!!!!
A total disaster, strollers never showed up, i left a message and got no explanation or anything, just a status change to « refunded » while not (checked with my bank). A total rubery, a zero service, and one day in new york ruined for my kids the time to have an other solution. An absolute never go
We recently arrived in New York for vacation and were pleased to find a full size crib and highchair that we had ordered set up and waiting for us. Both were modern and clean. I highly recommend Babies Getaway for any rental needs. I would use them again without question.

2022-05-03Placing and receiving the order was a breeze, their reps were very communicative. Car seat was in excellent condition, although we had to use the seatbelt rather than the built in straps and hooks.Pickup was delayed and communication around that was poor, which meant I waited around for a day and half for them to pick it up, but in the end they retrieved it without issue and I was not charged extra for the time.Would recommend if you need to rent a car seat but not a car!

2022-08-19I received great service! The crib and high chair were delivered just as we arranged and were in excellent condition. It made our trip easier because our granddaughter had the comforts of regular equipment. I would recommend it to anyone.

2022-04-20We rented a car seat and a stroller and had a great experience. Both were brand new, delivery and pick-up were right on time, and they were responsive when we called to confirm our order. We could not have been happier and would definitely use them again in the future. We highly recommend them!

2022-08-20Babies Getaway delivered the crib, car seat and high chair before we arrived and had the crib installed in the room we requested. Everything was clean and in great working order. This could not have been simpler, did not know this service even existed before now, Big fan will be a repeat customer.

2022-08-17I placed rentals for a crib, high chairs and hiking carriers. 2 weeks prior, I was told the crib and high chair order needed to be cancelled due to availability. The hiking carriers were supposed to be delivered between 7-9am. By 930am, nothing, so I called and they told me there was an issue and these would be delivered EOD by Amazon. EOD rolls around and nothing. Call the next day and I am told they were delivered. They were never delivered - we checked everywhere. I never received a tracking number. I would NEVER rent from this company again - I question if they actually rent baby gear.

2022-06-10We had a great experience with this company and would recommend to traveling families. We extended our trip last minute and decided to order a crib. We got it the very next day at the time we requested and it was already set up for us in our air BnB. Communication and ease of use for website were also good.

2022-07-01If I could give 0 stars I would. I placed my order 7 weeks before my vacation, which was pretty easy. Got both an email and text confirmation the car seat would be delivered to the location as expected. Well the car seat was never delivered and we were stranded at the airport for over 3 hours as my in laws had to scramble and go find a car seat to buy for my 6 month old just so we could leave the airport. Customer service was useless. They kept saying that USPS had the wrong address even though the address was correct on the confirmation email I received 2 days prior to the day it was supposed to show up. They said they were trying to buy the product from Walmart and I could pick it up but I told them Walmart doesn’t sell the Doona stroller and how would I get to Walmart to buy it when I don’t have a car seat to safely drive my child!!!!! Customer service rep (Naomi) said she was trying to find a solution and would call me back. I waited 3 hours before I had to finally call her back. Then she said she’d call back again and a different lady (Sheila) called and gave me the same story as Naomi and no solution! Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service!!
